This is a really random message that is the product of a few conversations I've had with my sister (who also reads your work). Your work makes me feel so incredibly safe and secure. I have a developmental disability (autism) that my parents denied, and it led to me having to raise myself emotionally throughout my teen years because my parents didn't know how to deal with me. I find a lot of comfort in your works because of how dark they are. I'm not sure if that makes any sense, but I have a difficult time finding enjoyment in content that isn't very dark. Tag You're It series has been very special to me because of how it deals with toxic family members. In fact, I find a lot of solace in your blog, because you talk so much about dealing with unhealthy family dynamics.

i am so, so honoured and happy to hear that you are able to find such solace in my work and my blog; i genuinely do not have the words to describe how much that means to me. to know that i am able to provide a safe and comforting space for someone other than myself is so incredibly important and special to me; one of my goals with my work and my blog is to help others—whether that means helping others process their own feelings/trauma, or helping others by offering a safe space within my work, or even just providing someone with an hour or two of escapism and entertainment when they need it/when they’re going through a rough time—so to hear this, to receive this message from you, is just so wonderful <33

it definitely does make sense and honestly, i completely get where you’re coming from with having a difficult time finding enjoyment in content that isn’t dark. for me personally, i dislike content that is overly fluffy and tooth-rottingly sweet and excessively/absurdly happy because i find it extremely unrealistic, and consuming content like that actually upsets me more because it feels so unattainable and fake. that’s why i enjoy creating and consuming things with bittersweet endings; because they feel a lot more real and, in my opinion, a lot more hopeful and comforting. it’s also why i find such extreme comfort in the todoroki family; their family dynamics feel so relatable and there’s something so comforting in looking at a character you love or a character who’s significant to you and going ‘yeah, i get that. yeah, i went through something similar, too’. it makes you feel less alone and sometimes, as in the case of shouto for example, it gives you hope, too—hope that you can be as strong as he is, that you can overcome your traumas etc as well, just like he is doing. it can also be very cathartic!!

⚠️TW: BLOOD WILL BE SEEN UNDERCUT.⚠️

So yeah. This happened to me yesterday and I'm taking time off school AND work to take care of myself. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow and decided to post this now to let you guys know about my health!

Alright, I woke up around 4 am feeling a little tipsy, so I decided to go downstairs and drink some water. But while I was walking to the kitchen, I felt the sudden urge to puke. So I ran to the bathroom, blood was spilling out of my mouth. Why? I had no idea. So while I was running, my legs suddenly gave up on me so I tried my best to crawl to the bathroom. But then one of my roommates went down since they wake up VERY early and saw the blood on the floor to the bathroom. They called out my name and followed the blood trail to the bathroom, only to face me breathing heavily while I kept vomitting blood. The first words I said are exactly what I put in the last panel lmao. I'm clearly not fine but I'm only saying I am so my friends won't worry about someone like me <3.

This is such a random thought but I often have sore/tense shoulders because of bad posture when working and such I’d assume… but imagine if Barbatos takes it upon himself to tickle punish you. Every. Time.

Because he’s the one who’d actually worry about such things and (imo? Tho it’s been a while lmaoo) be all ‘that’s not good for your back’,,, and the tickling would be like reinforcement/training

I MEAN-

Imagine this smug lil demon kindly offering you a massage because you look so stiff and sore, chuckling when he accidentally tickles you, and he gives some advice on your posture.

And the next time he will offer it again and when he asks "Did you not listen to anything I said last time~?" and starts tickling on purpose quite fiercely, and just, tickle punishments from him become a thing and everytime you see him you just already giggle and quickly sit/stand upright and... ok yes I like this idea. Sorry got carried away lololol.

in honor of october (based off smth that happened this friday for me), teacher/employee reader and the guys preparing for kindergartners up til third graders going trick or treating tomorrow!! they probably planned matching outfits, some of them. hwa as toothless and somebody as light fury, for example. surprisingly i cant think of a specific member to pair this with? i just think its cute,,

HELLOOOO you are absolutely not too late, though i am late to the whole october and halloween thing here lmao. was struggling with this request and i thought maybe my thoughts would flow better if i wasn't thinking of it as a formal request and just blabbed about it right here. but i adore this concept so i still wanted to write something about it and get something to you even if it's messy and possibly ends up incoherent :))

nonetheless, i hope you enjoy my word vomit because i truly do love this idea and you for planting it in my head <3 (only cw is alcohol mention, which has nothing to do with the children i promise lmao)

first of all i love this idea of this au where they're all teachers. given the kindergarten through third graders it's kinda perfect because each grade can have two teachers and they're like teacher pairs and it's cute and fun. and to add reader into this i thought it would be super cute if reader was like the school librarian and gets to interact with all the teachers and their classes. i was thinking about san and woo as the kindergarten teachers just because of how well they played with little arin and ayun. and then yeosang and jjong with the first graders just cuz i think they'd be so cute with younger kids but first graders are slightly less insane than kindergartners maybe ?? plus i think they'd be the funniest pair of teachers like i just adore they're dynamic and i'm just thinking about jongho turning all the children against yeosang and they just relentlessly tease him forever <3333 next up in second grade i put yunho and mingi and idk this is such a horrible idea like they would never get anywhere that classroom is just screaming and more screaming and the quiet kids are just like save us please :D and last but not least, we have seongjoong as the third grade teachers because i think they'd be the only one's who can discipline older kids and that hongjoong might die if the kids were even less mature that the third graders already are.

and then yeah, you are the school librarian (or some other staff member that frequently works with the classes but i'm just saying librarian bc i work at my school's library and what's fanfic without it being a self insert <3). and yeah you get to be besties with all of them because they're a whole big squad that kinda scares the other teachers but they kidnapped you into their group because you're just so cool and awesome and they love you and the things you do for their students <3

what they also love about you is that you love halloween and always help them prepare for taking the students trick or treating. i like the idea that all the pairs of teachers have a tradition of matching their costumes. and this year, it goes (mostly) great for (almost) all of them. the night before the event, the nine of you have a halloween party amongst yourselves, a tradition that started a few years ago. obviously, you all show up to seonghwa's apartment in costume.

this year, san and wooyoung have defaulted on onesie costumes, explaining that before, they had attempted to diy complicated anime character costumes. it was going well (or so they say) until yesterday when they realized they had neither the skills or time to finish the costumes. they are very pleased when you tell them you're a big fan of their matching kuromi and my melody onesies, and that you think the kids will also enjoy these far more than whatever elaborate plan they had before. jongho, on the other hand, is having a blast making fun of them.

and while woosan are stunning in their hello kitty costumes, yeosang and jongho are really vying for your favorite pair this year. though, it looks like yeosang’s thick biceps are struggling against the sleeves of his snow white dress despite his lovely features being complimented by the femininity of the outfit. jongho looks as charming (completely unfunny pun intended) as always in his prince charming outfit, ready to unknowingly continue stealing the hearts of all of his student’s parents.

yet, these costumes, along with yunho and mingi's, are causing a lot of noise because the tall pair of best friends showed up as a princess and his knight in shining armor. jongho is indignant, convinced that he and yeosang's costumes are far better. yeosang is drowning a bit in the shouting, but doing his best to defend himself when he gets the chance. wooyoung has told yeosang that he's a costume repeater because he played snow white in a play in middle school, but san thinks it looks cooler this time because of yeo's far bigger muscles. mingi says he looks prettier because his dress his pink and yunho won't really defend him on it, but insists that the costumes are different enough because he's a knight, not a prince (and that he's cooler for that same reason).

this time, seonghwa has chosen neither to be a part of the chaos nor to attempt to stop it, and is instead happily perched on the couch with a glass of wine because he is finally satisfied with his costume this year.

time and time again, seonghwa insists on dressing as toothless, convinced that it's the perfect costume for him. and time and time again, he begs hongjoong to be a matching light fury with him. and, you know it... time and time again, hongjoong has refused. he's offered to dress as hiccup, and maybe a different dragon, but he refuses to complete seonghwa's request. secretly, you think it's just hongjoong's way of getting back at seonghwa for the printer incident. but finally, seonghwa found a solution to make his dreams come true and just completely ditched hongjoong as his costume partner.

that is where you come in, sitting next to seonghwa in a matching light fury costume. hongjoong is actually still a part of this costume, dressed as hiccup so that the kids don't question him, but his part in this plan a bit irrelevant to seonghwa. he's just so happy to finally have completed this costume, and will not stop bragging about it to everyone in the room. he's told you that he won't allow you to be anywhere but at his side tomorrow so that he can show off your costumes, and you just nod along despite knowing that your job and large groups of children will certainly take you else where.

but aside from the fighting regarding jongsang and yungi's costumes, the night was lots of fun in which you all exercising your very special crafty skills that come with being elementary school workers. so there are so very adorable decorations that you'll set up in the morning tomorrow and another lovely set of halloween memories with your favorite people <33

my childhood dog passed away yesterday. i didn’t think it would affect me so much but i broke down before and after work and i still tear up just thinking about him. so here i am just reading all your fics cause i need the comfort when i have to leave my dog alone from cuddling her so much. invisible thread has been keeping me sane <3

I just came back from playing the first part of the Mond Event quest so *cracks knuckles* this is very fortunate!! I don't really have a lot cause I'm lacking info on him because the guy refuses to show his face at my doorstep but I'll try to throw the few I do have for him together in a little pot

Aroace Diluc. This isn't a headcanon actually he came to me in a vision of divine precognition and told me so himself.

He doesn't like Summer. (Because a) God if somebody in that godforsaken (affectionate) nation doesn't like summer it's the guy that walks around in a thick fireproof fur coat with a pyro vision that works with fire almost on the daily and b) I hate summer. so he also has to hate summer.)

I like to think he's a morning person bacause of. well his entire deal. It'd match nicely with it is all,,,

The knights (Jean) had him babysit Klee once because nobody else was available and now they both actually get along quite well. He's graduated from ''Weird grumpy adult'' to ''Big brother Diluc'' and he lets her blow up stuff (still making sure it stays within reason of course)

Pyromaniac. (in the distinguished way but still. If he sees a chance to burn something down and get away with it he Will set it on fire)

he can play the Violin (This might actually be canon?? maybe?? not sure but Violin seems like a rich people instrument. Kaeya can play it too but Diluc's better at it)

I think that'd be about all?? I can't really think of any more rn so yeah I suppose that's all of them for now

becoming a better student ₊˚⊹♡

Prepare for your classes ˚୨୧⋆｡˚ ⋆

Wake up on time. We don't want to be stressed first thing in the morning, right?

Eat breakfast. So you will be able to better focus in class.

Assigned reading and homework. Make sure you are prepared for your classes!! :)

Review your notes. Going through some of your flashcards before class is really helpful.

Check your bag and charge your devices. Ensure you have everything you need: Books, homework, chargers, pens, water...

In Class ˚୨୧⋆｡˚ ⋆

Listen and pay attention. You can save yourself a lot of trouble by simply paying attention, trust me.

Take notes. My favourite note-taking method is the Cornell method; I can make a separate post on that!! <3

"Quick notes." If you struggle with note-taking, try taking quick and messy notes. You can clean them up once you get home!!

Engage. If you have any questions or don't understand something, make sure to ask!! Most teachers really appreciate students who speak up. :)

No distractions. Turn off your phone, no chatting, you'll be glad...

After class ˚୨୧⋆｡˚ ⋆

Finish your assignments as soon as you can. Go home, put on a cosy outfit, have a snack, and get working!! <3

Prepare flash cards. A great way of reviewing your notes, too... :)

Update your Study schedule. Write down any assignment and due dates, reading you must do, upcoming tests, etc...

Clean up your notes. Review them, highlight the important parts, and maybe even make them look cute!! :)

Don't avoid topics/Subjects you dislike. I know it is tempting, but you can't avoid them forever, so you might as well get them done

Structure and routine ˚୨୧⋆｡˚ ⋆

Goals and Priorities. Keep them realistic and manageable.

Time management. Having a set schedule makes studying less overwhelming; it takes some discipline but is so worth it!! <3

Develop a routine. Figure out what works best for you; I prefer studying in the morning or at night.

No "zero days". Even if you can only do a bit, do it!! NO. ZERO. DAYS.

Remember your goals. Dreams will keep you motivated; remind yourself of what you're working for!! <3

Self-care and balance ˚୨୧⋆｡˚ ⋆

Don't forget about your hobbies. You need to do things that make you happy, so make time for those things!!

Maintain a balanced diet. I know chocolates and junk are tempting, especially when you are busy studying all day, but you're not doing yourself any favours.

Sleep. Sleep. Sleep. 8 Hours. Non-negotiable.

Exercise regularly. Even if it's just a walk, put on some headphones, listen to music, and give yourself a break. <3

Care for your social life. Reach out to your friends, make plans, and keep in touch; a good work-life balance is critical!!

Romanticising ˚୨୧⋆｡˚ ⋆

Study dates. Meet up with your friends at a cosy cafe, discuss your work, and have some fun!! Studying doesn't have to be all serious all the time ;)

Silly Pinterest boards. Visualising your goals will help you find motivation!!

Music to set the mood. I have a bunch of playlists on my Spotify that might help!! <3

Cosy sweater and candles. The cosy Rory Gilmore vibes haha...

Getting a coffee before class. A little treat before things get serious... Simple pleasures, you know? :)

he is so sweet and indulgent. he spoils his pretty darling because all he wants is to see you smile. he pays for your tuition, your dorm rent, your groceries. he gives you allowance, and tops it off when you off-handedly mention that there's a new necklace you really want to buy.

he drives you around in his car; picking you up from uni turns into an impromptu trip. he lets you pull him into different shops, and even asks if it'd be okay for you to show him what you want to buy. so you do: you model every clothes you pick, every accessory, and simon's there to compliment you. to praise you. to help you with the zippers or strings or buttons.

he buys you designers, but also those silent rich brands.

but the thing that he does that you love the most is that he lets you talk. vent. ramble.

you pull him into his living room and open your heart out, and simon's there to listen throughout. there are days when you need his help and he offers it with no hesitation, and there are other days when all you need is someone to listen to you and simon is even better at that.

at the end of it, he pulls you to his lap and presses a kiss on your temple.

"what can i do?" he asks.

"just.. please, hold me. just that," you reply, shy after your break down.

and simon does so, careful as he wraps his arms around you before tucking you underneath his chin. he rubs his palm on your back and rocks you two as new tears spill from your eyes.

you two sleep there, on his couch, sometimes. tomorrow, the two of you will wake up with a kink on your necks or backs, but you always feel a whole lot lighter and simon thinks how the backpain is all so worth it.

he cooks you breakfast.

(he's not really good at it so you take over. simon sits on the island in the kitchen, watching you as you flutter around, humming softly to yourself, and wonders if it's too early to give you the gift stowed in his dresser.)

(it's a diamond ring.)

hated talking about the future, but ever since he met you — he rambles about it.

toji has always thought his future was nothing interesting, he kills people for a living, gets money off of it and he gambles. that's about it, so what was there to think about in the future?

meeting you was the firsts to a lot of things in his life.

toji grew up in a loveless household full of anger, and lust for power. which is why he is who he is today. distant, aloof, detached. people tell him he'd be nothing without his strength and face, there is no denying that toji fushiguro has a face card. he knows that.

so when he first met you, all he expected was like every other day. people caring about his face, and only that — and he'd play along although he's had enough of it, but no; you didn't care about all that.

face, money, strength. none of that.

he vaguely remembered the first time you spoke to him: "hey, mind helping me grab that box of cereal?" and he expected you to hit on him after, but you left it at that, muttering out a thanks and then leaving him in the aisle alone.

then for some reason he meets you again, the very next month. asking him the exact same thing, asking for help to take the cereal box which happened to be on the very top of the shelf. god knows why, both you and him just made it a routine every month after that. no communications about meeting and all. you both kind of just, met right in the cereal aisle on one particular day in the month, and then leave.

on the fifth month, he finally asks for your number.
