#I’m only starting to process everything now bc I went right back to work when I came from Spain but I just want to say#yk the trip was really really difficult for me for several different reasons piling onto each other and I was seriously considering leaving#before afhf and spent a lot of the trip crying and honestly don’t know what I would do if people like Lisa Ali and Raina weren’t there for#and with me and I’ll always be grateful to them#BUT I want to say that the festival itself was so healing like so so so healing I can’t even begin to express it#to watch louis do what he does - even before he was on stage it was so clear he was so involved with the entire concept of the festival and#and the whole thing was such a perfect vision and it was so fan oriented even with free water and vegan food and stuff#to watch the other bands perform (because there’s just nothing in this world that I love more than music and concerts)#and then watch him on stage himself was so incredible he was so so so incredible and he gave me so much joy and idk strength to keep going#and motivation and like I felt alive and myself again after quite some time and he as the person who stood there was just unbelievable and#in the context of my trip being what it was it was just ….. yeah I can’t describe it#and this in combination with the community that was there and the energy of the crowd which nobody else but louis has actually and the#fact that you really feel like you’re a part of sth it was magical#and by that I just want to say i know I complained a lot but it meant the absolute world to me to be there despite everything and louis#really is a walking beacon of light saving me again and again#Harry’s show this year probably changed the course of my life for a few reasons and it really was one of the most important moments for me#but watching louis reminded me of that and more and just yea#made me feel like myself again and I love him and I know I’m not the only one for whom the festival was so healing <3

A/N: not sure what the inspo what behind this but here it is, i am working on another longer fic so this is a filler for the mean time, likes, reblogs and comments appreciated! Im autistic so i have a bunch of stuff I'd like to put in for a second (possible series?). For specific senarios ect ect please feel free to send them to my ask box!!
Requests are open for Spencer Reid! Disabled & multilingual characters encouraged
Part 2
Masterlist!
The buzz of the air con unit, the incessant hum if the fluorescent lights, the constant chatter of the co workers you were unfamiliar with all came together to create an almost physically painful environment. You adored working in the BAU but these days where it was lengthy paperwork done on painfully bright computers with the general hubbub of the office made you want to scream. It often ended with Hotch sending you home with paper files to do with spencer but he was off today and you were still intimidated by Rossi so couldn't ask him. Spencer would normally ask for the both of you but he was out with Hotch, they were doing a local death row interview together. You were exhausted and it wasn't even eleven am. You decided to stop by Penelope's office who had made it as sensory friendly as possible once she found out about your autism, something you had appreciated immensely, especially for days like today. “Hey pen? Can i stay in here for a bit?” You ask, walking into the dim room. “Sure thing sugar, you can stay in here for the rest of the day, Rossi told me to come get you for a thing anyway so come over here my fine furry friend.” she beacons you over to the seat next to her.
You couldn't have gotten out of the office faster. Penelope had helped as much as possible but the sensory overload was too much from nine am and you haven't been able to do anything about it aside from chew on some ice every so often.
The idea of taking the subway home made your skin crawl, but you hadn't brought your car to the office this morning, driving was also being far too overwhelming. You would have called Spencer but you had no idea when he would be home given death row inmates either got really chatty or liked to drag on the interview. You decide to just sit on the curb for a while allowing the cooler night air to calm you down enough so you can try and get on the metro without crying.
You weren't sure how long you were sitting there, legs curled tightly against you, head resting against your knees and back pressed against the wall but you flinched when someone walked up and tapped you on the shoulder and scrambled to stand up. “How long have you been out here?” the stranger asks in the darkness. As your eyes adjust you realise its Hotch, meaning Spencer is probably here too. You just shake your head with a pleading look hoping he wouldn't ask you any more questions tonight. “Spencer is in the SUV, I've told him to take that home to save you both taking the metro tonight. Go home, tomorrow's paperwork will be dropped off at your house. He didn't let you get a word in edgewise so you just nod, thank him and wish him and Jack a goodnight, setting off towards the remaining SUV with the lights on.
“Hi honey, you okay?” Spencer asks as you hop into the car, throwing off your blazer before settling in and pulling on your belt. “Bad day?” he asks again trying to gauge how your day went without getting you to talk. You just nod as you reach across to put a hand on his thigh to try and signal that you were okay, just exhausted in every sense of the word. You tap his thigh three times then five, three to say I love you then five to encourage him to talk about his day and not worry about rambling even if you didn’t respond.
Once you get home you drop your things and make a beeline for the couch, flopping face down and screaming into the pillows. “Bath, shower or later sweetheart?” He knew you wouldn’t go to bed without showering but also knew you were too overwhelmed to do anything that required mental effort right now given the whine you let out into the cushions at his question. “I'm going to order some Thai, then do you want to get changed and we can watch a movie? He suggests. “Nada en inglés, por favor” is all you mumble back. He was used to your disdain of English, despite it being your first language. You knew bits and pieces of French, Spanish and German prior to meeting Spencer but since meeting him you had come to learn some Korean and Russian. “Okay dear, i'll go order, you get changed.” he says as he leaves the room going to the phone. You drag yourself off the sofa across the apartment to the bedroom. Grabbing Spencer's caltech sweatshirt and joggers from the bed that you had left there this morning and throwing your suit in the hamper to be washed tomorrow.
You spent the rest of the night curled up under the weighted throw Penelope had knitted you for Christmas on your first anniversary at the BAU and watching old Russian movies. Spencer played with your hair until you fell asleep contemplating how he was going to get you to bed without waking you up.

Hi! Sorry to bother you, but I'm wondering if you could help me? Do you know of any (Sterek) fics where Scott joins Derek's pack? I just really want to see Stiles and Scott interacting w Hale Pack 2.0! Thank you.
Hi anon! @kevaaronday made this list for us.
Tumblr media
Turn back time by A _pretty_good_pair (23/23 | 49,715 | Teen | Sterek) There's no one left. No one. Stiles decides in his grief to try and fix everything he did wrong the first time around. Will he be able to save everyone or will he relive the pain of losing them all once again?
True by inatshej (1/1 | 38,760 | Explicit | Sterek) The point is, anything can be believed to be true now. If magic can convince Stiles that he loves Derek – weird, angry, too-many-issues Derek – then how is he supposed to know what is actually true, and what is him being mind-screwed?
And Derek can go fuck this mates concept.
Spaz and the Sourwolf by TheRealDanniX (9/9 | 24,674 | Teen | Sterek) When Stiles comes across something he shouldn't in the Preserve he ends up on four legs. Not that anyone in the Pack knows it's him. He's just hoping they can figure it out before anything else bad happens.
clenching my jagged jaws (over the capture) by Marishna (1/1 | 21,495 | Teen | Sterek) Derek Hale was never supposed to be alpha, but he's a good one. He doesn't need any help and he definitely doesn't need an emissary.
Stiles Stilinski is Derek Hale's emissary and come hell or high water he's going to see the Hale pack through the impending arrival of the alpha pack, even if it means he can never return to Beacon Hills after.
The Vasov Heir by neil4god (12/12 | 20,665 | Not Rated | Sterek) It was summer vacation. He was supposed to go to bed late and sleep even later, he should not be in a car at the ass crack of dawn (12:30) on his way to who know's where. That was not part of the plan, but then he hadn't planned on introducing the pack to his sort of fiance either or introducing them to his family, but his darkest secrets are being dragged into the light and Stiles may not survive it.
When the Wind Blows (the Grass Must Bend) by V1p3r_Qu33n (9/9 | 17,845 | Teen | Scallison) “Why is it a problem that he doesn’t know I’m here?” Scott was just getting more confused with every sentence she spoke and everytime he asked a question the answer just resulted in even more confusion.
She looked past him to a sleek black car that had just pulled up outside the house across from hers. “I think you’re about to find out.” - - - aka: the packs a dysfunctional family. Scott doesn't have a clue what's going on (though he's starting to figure it out), Derek's just trying to keep his betas in line (though they don't always like his methods), and Isaac's just trying to survive.
Learning Curve by Inell (1/1 | 6,050 | Explicit | Poly Pack) When Scott stops by to check on Stiles after he misses school, he isn't expecting to be introduced to the world of polyamory or to agree to become part of the Hale pack in such an unique way.
Heart Smart by Simplistically_content (1/1 | 3,578 | Teen | Sterek) Scott wasn't book smart like Stiles, he wasn't werewolf smart like Derek (was meant to be), he wasn't genius smart like Lydia, his decision making hadn't really given him the best track record where those kind of smarts mattered. No. Where Scott believed he was smartest, was in his heart, in his good nature. Sometimes he screwed up, but no one's perfect, are they?
A place you call home by TalesoftheEnchantedForest (1/1 | 771 | Gen | Sterek) Derek takes a walk through the newly built Hale house and is suddenly overcome by memories, both older and more recent ones. Then he realizes what was missing all along - his pack. Now with Stiles and his friends by his side, he has a home again.
(This is all flashbacks and feels, my dudes.)
Ice(d) Cream by LizzieLance (1/1 | 500 | Gen) “This is indoor snow, baby. Dodgeballllllll.”
“ Throw it, throw it!”
“Stiles, no!”
“Stiles, yes!”
“Over here!”
Whap!
“Ohhh shit.”
Wait, what?? By hugs4saturn (1/1 | 424 | Gen | Sterek) Scott isn't the Alpha.

Dark AU: An idea of how to transition into the Dock scene could be Jaune and Penny go into Vale proper to buy things, Penny gets distracted (pet shop with Betta fish on display perhaps?), notices Jaune isn't around and Sun runs into her while running away. As an apology of sorts Sun helps Penny search for Jaune. Meanwhile Jaune was taken by some faunus on orders if spotted for questioning. (He may not have been revealed as the sole survivor to the public but there are ways to find out for an info broker.) Questioning becomes violent when Jaune gives answers they don't like. Brought to the docks heist to be left behind as an example. Somewhat escapes (Roman/Neo taking pity?) as Penny shows up lasers blazing. Aftermath Jaune gains confidence by saving someone, Penny maybe tells Jaune the truth and Sun eats a banana.
Just an option; if taken change how you like.
Also thanks for listening and for the content!
I like your idea, but I think I know just how to tweak in the way I've been looking for...
-------------------------------------------------
"Do you really have to see the betta fish again?"
"Yes, of course!" Penny replied, walking next to Jaune. She couldn't stop herself from shaking with excitement. Her favorite time of the week was to go to the pet store and look at all the beautiful betta fish on display. This had become routine since her arrival at Beacon a few months ago, and it was one that she and her partner had no intention of breaking. "Oh? It's closed?"
"Looks like it's being renovated." Jaune noted from the sign. Oddly enough, there were still pets in the window, including betta fish. "Kinda weird for these animals to be out here where it's so sunny."
Penny didn't respond. She was too engrossed in the elegant dance of the betta fish darting about in their tanks and bowls. Jaune smiled as her green eyes darted from one fish to another within seconds between them.
"Hey, kid." Jaune turned, seeing a man in a black apron. "You lookin' to buy?"
"Oh, no, just browsing." Jaune waved off, quickly dismissing his excited partner behind him. He swore he heard her neck snap.
"You sure?" The man tilted his head down, brow raised. "Maybe you want a pet? Something to keep you calm? Like a cat?"
"No, no, really, I'm sure, Mister..." Jaune narrowed his eyes on the nametag. "...Leon?"
"Well, if you're sure. But would you like to help feed them? Kinda got a lot and my back's been aching all morning."
At this, Jaune's face lit up. This was his chance to do some good for once, instead of just sitting around and wallowing in his own self-pity at Beacon. And huntsmen did help those in need, right? Jaune gave a nod.
"We'd be happy to help, right, Penny?" He turned to see his partner didn't respond, too engrossed by an especially red and blue fish. "Well, I'd be happy to help." He got closer to his partner. "Hey, Penny? I'm going to help feed some animals. I'll be inside, okay?"
"Mm..." Penny said, though it may not have been in reply to him.
Giving a shrug, Jaune followed the man inside. The inside was warm and dark, with no lights or any kind of air conditioning on. Were the animals really okay in this kind of environment? It didn't seem safe.
"So, uh, where are the animals?" Jaune asked as he entered the room in the back.
"It's faunus!" Everything went loud and dark. All of a sudden, Jaune couldn't feel anything. Not even the throbbing swelling lump on his head.
----------------------------------------------------
"Okay, I think I lost them- ACK!"
Penny fell to her side as a young man was straddled over her. His shirt was unbuttoned and wide open, showing off his toned abs while a golden tail swirled from his torn-up jeans. Penny gave a blink a couple of times before she realized what had happened.
"Oh, excuse me!" She said. "I'm sorry if I was in your way."
"Nah, nah, it's cool." The monkey faunus pulled himself to his feet before lending a hand. Penny took it and quickly rose to stand. "Sorry about that. I was just running away from some, uh..." She scratched his head. "Uh, nevermind. The name's Sun Wukong! What's your name?"
"I am Penny Polendina, and this is... Jaune?" Penny turned, looking around. "Jaune?"
"Is Jaune your pet?"
"He is my assigned partner at Beacon Academy."
"Oh, you're going to Beacon? Same! I'm from Haven Academy!"
"I see! Where is your team?"
"They'll get here eventually. I took the fastest way I knew!"
"You abandoned your team?"
"Ah, they'll understand." Sun waved her off. "So, uh, where'd this Jaune partner or yours go? He ditch ya?"
"He would not ditch me. He could not ditch me."
"Oh..." Sun clicked his cheek. "You guys are like that, huh?"
"He is my partner, and I am his. It is up to me to ensure his mental state does not diminish to critical levels."
"Uh... huh..." Sun walked around. "Well, if you guys are that close, then he probably didn't get far." He pointed to the pet store. "You think he's in here?"
"Unlikely." Penny answered. "The building is being renovated."
"With the door wide open and nobody inside?" Sun entered the building, followed by Penny. "Seems kinda weird, not gonna lie." He sniffed. "Wait." He sniffed again. "Oh no..."
Sun quickly rounded the empty cages to the counter, tossing the door aside. Looking down, he could see a clean floor, but his nose didn't lie. Following it to the closet in the back, he found a person laying inside, unconscious.
"The shopkeeper!" Penny shouted. She swiftly turned and ran for the back room. "Jaune?!"
"Ah, hell..." Sun groaned. "The last thing I'd want is to get the cops involved, but it looks like that's what's gonna happen." Sun picked the phone off the counter but set it down when there was no dial tone. "Lights out, hot as Vacuo, and no phone service? There's a lot wrong with this picture."
"Sun! I have found something!" Sun jumped the counter, running to the back room where Penny stood. The inside looked to be a garage with an open door to the back alley. There were skid marks on the ground and a white flag held aloft in the girl's hands. "I think I know who has Jaune."
On the flag was a familiar red symbol of a beast and claw marks.
----------------------------------------------------
"Where is Jaune now?!" Glynda screamed as she paced the floor of the headmaster's office. "You don't know is not an acceptable answer, Miss Polendina. Jaune Arc is your partner, which means he is your-"
"Glynda!" She flinched, looking to Professor Ozpin. The look on his face was a rare instance of anger. He seldom showed it, which meant it wasn't an emotion to be taken lightly from him. "Hand me the scroll. Focus on finding Jaune from here and ensuring all students are back at Beacon Academy."
"Yes, Headmaster." She gulped, handing over the scroll. "Excuse me, I didn't-"
"You're scared. It's understandable, Glynda." The way he used her first name to calm her down worked, though only a little. "But fear is not what we should be using to respond to this. Now do as you were instructed." With a nod, she left the office, tapping on her personal scroll. "Miss Polendina, this is your headmaster speaking. Remain calm and explain to me what has happened."
Ozpin sat and listened, simultaneously coordinating with police and huntsmen across Vale to find his missing student. This wasn't the first time a student went missing, nor could he hope it would happen be the last. But there was one thing he would do if his power allowed. Jaune Arc would not die. His first years for the current semester may have been single digit numbers, but they would not drop lower than they'd already had.
"Can you determine which direction the tires were going?" He asked, at the same time updating the mission board for the responding huntsmen to read. "Have you contacted the authorities? Are they with you now?" Thankfully, the woman and the animals in the store were alive, though blunt force trauma to the former and heat injuries to the latter hardly constituted as 'and well'. "And you say a student from Haven Academy is present with you?" This would be the most awkward task, since that meant he'd have to explain to Leonardo that one of his students had arrived in Vale months early for the Vytal tournament.
Unfortunately, with all these questions being answered, too many were still left unknown as they appeared. Why was the White Fang in Vale? Why would they kidnap Jaune? And most importantly, where had they taken him?
"Ozpin!" Professor Goodwitch slammed open the door to his office. "We've found him."
----------------------------------------------------
"Good evening, I'm Lisa Lavender. Tonight, for our top story, we have an interview with the student who survived the initiation of the mass student deaths at Beacon Academy, Jaune Arc." She smiled to him. "Thank you for coming to us, Jaune."
"N-No problem." Jaune gulped. When he woke up, men with bone-white masks pointed guns at him and told him to stay where he was. One of them had pointed ears on his head and the other had a tail curled over his belt.
"Now, Mr. Arc, I understand this is a very difficult topic to discuss, but the audience would appreciate if you could tell us what happened to you at Beacon Academy."
"Uh..." He glanced to the side, where the camera was looking right at him, but not as threateningly as the man next to it holding a gun. With a shaky breath, he made the choice to relive that horrible day. "I... I left for Beacon Academy and when I got there, I..." He gave a chuckle. "I threw up in the trash as soon as I got off the bullhead. A little while after, I met a girl who was in a crater. I... I think it was a dust explosion. She... She told me her name was Ruby."
Jaune's throat dried up, but he kept talking because if he stopped talking, what was going to happen? He'd get shot? He'd die? Telling this woman, the people in the room, and if the camera was any indication, the whole world, everyone was listening to him. However, the next part of the story was the worst part.
"I... I watched as Ruby, she..." He swallowed, feeling tears well in his eyes. "She wasn't as old as me, so seeing her like..." He shook his head. "I'm sorry, do I have to keep going?" He looked to the woman with tears spilling from his eyes.
"Only if you want to." She placed a hand on his.
He flinched as the gun racked, reminding him of who was really in charge.
"I-I-I..." He shuddered. "One girl was tossed over the side of the cliff. I listened as she screamed until I couldn't hear her anymore."
"Do you remember who it was?"
"It... It was the girl with the white hair."
"Do you mean Weiss Schnee, the heiress to the Schnee Dust Company?" He nodded. She closed her eyes and shook her head. "A tragedy felt just as tenderly as everyone else who'd perished that day."
He could hear one of the gunmen give a chuckle.
"My partner and the blond girl... I think one of them was Ruby's sister... They... They both died to the big scorpion one."
"The Deathstalker." She nodded. "And your partner was Pyrrha Nikos, wasn't she?"
"Yeah, she... She helped unlock my aura."
"You entered Beacon without your aura unlocked?" She sounded genuinely caught off guard. "What would possess you to do something so dangerous?"
"I..." He sniffed, glad to be away from the topic, if even for a little bit. "I wanted to prove myself. I was a nobody, and I just... I didn't want to be a nobody forever. A disappointment."
"Well, Jaune, I have to say that what you did was, in my personal opinion, the most selfish, stupid thing you could have done." Jaune's eyes widened. "People have dedicated their lives to training and honing their bodies, their skills, their mental fortitudes so that they can protect innocent people from the horrors of the Grimm, and you attended Beacon because you, 'wanted to prove yourself,' if I'm using your words right. People are dead, Jaune, and how exactly did you survive?"
"I... I went into the caves and..."
"And you hid." Lisa venomously spat. "Like a coward. Weiss Schnee is dead, Jaune. Pyrrha Nikos is dead. Ruby is dead. Every single one of those students is dead because you couldn't act. Because you didn't have the training to do what innocent people would be counting on you to do if you did make it as a huntsman." She threw her arms in the air before folding them. "What did you expect to happen, Jaune? That you and these girls would go to the academy, be best friends, and then just spend the rest of your life going on adventures as a huntsman?" She jabbed a finger at him. "The world isn't a fairy tale, Jaune. People fight and die because the Grimm are monsters who won't stop until we're all dead. But you wanted to prove yourself? Well, I think you've proven yourself well enough... as a coward."
Jaune... did nothing. What could he do? He'd just been slandered to people all over Remnant. His parents, his teachers, complete strangers just heard him get broken down by this woman and called a coward for all the tears he shed. And the worst part of it all was that she was right.
Jaune fled with that girl into the caves after the others died. He didn't have any power to stand against those giant monsters those girls died to, and he thought he could come into Beacon at the same level they did. He was a sham, a fraud. Every word said against him was the truth, and he just had to sit there and accept it.
"I'm Lisa Lavender. Thank you for watching."
"And cut!" The world became loud around Jaune as people moved this direction and that, leaving him seated in his chair. Lisa Lavender had already left the room, though not before shaking her head and scoffing in disgust.
"Come on, kid."
Jaune was grabbed by the shoulder and shoved. He looked up and saw the bone-white mask with red marks. Suddenly, the person in the mask didn't look or sound like a person, but like a monster, growling at Jaune as he fell over, kicking himself away across the floor and to the wall. It gave a bellow, roaring at him to no move. Breathing quickened, fingers twitching, Jaune wanted to let out a scream but couldn't figure out how. Fear attracted the Grimm and his body was in a panic, set to remain frozen so he wouldn't be bothered. The Grimm bellowed a chant.
"One! Two! Three!" Light flashed, and Jaune shut his eyes to not see the girl's face. When he opened his eyes, a different girl was looking right at him.
"P...Penny?"
"S-Sal-u-tations, Jaune!" She cheerily replied. "Do you... require assistance?"
"Surrender your weapons!" Another familiar voice called. "You're all under the custody of Vale Huntress Goodwitch!"
"Over here!" A blond boy waved over to the pair.
As they started moving towards him, a gunshot was heard, making Jaune flinch and fall to the floor. He could feel himself sliding before hands grabbed him by his cheeks and green eyes filled his vision. "Jaune, it is okay. I am here!"
"Penny?" He grunted, blinking before shaking his head. "I'm... I'm good. Thank you, Penny." The students met up through the doors, Jaune panting as he leaned against the wall. "Who... Who are you?"
"Name's Sun." He said. "You're Jaune, right? Penny's told me about you."
"Yeah. Did sh-" Jaune stopped as he looked at Penny, who had her back to him. She'd been shot, but where there should have been a wound, or maybe even nothing because of aura, there was an indent in her body. Like bent metal. Jaune's feet gave out under him and he fell into the black again.
----------------------------------------------------
"Heck of a performance you did, Miss Lavender."
"Thank you, Roman." The woman on his scroll said. "And really, thank you for providing me with that interview. I'm sure to get an award for that one."
"Anytime, sweetheart." He grinned. "Your news special was just thing we needed to get these schmucks to look somewhere else tonight."
"Will there be a story for me to report tomorrow?"
"Isn't there always?" He chuckled. "I'll deliver my appreciation with the flowers." With a tap, the call had ended, and Roman reveled at all the dust him and his boys had managed to haul from the docks. Walking out of the warehouse, he lit up his cigar, taking a few puffs. "And they say there's nothing original on the news."

Across time
LU/oot link x child!reader
the guide is 11/12 during the events of the story
Tw: general angst, light body dysmorphia?, Poor editing, oot spoilers.
The hero of time had a child not physically but mentally in a way he dubbed them the guide normally the child be concerned a strange small voice talking talking to them like they had known him his entire life like he was there best friend and them in return and it was quite annoying.
Until he had to leave his home behind the first time he heard them go quiet was after he left the kokiri Forest for the first time saying farewell to saria and the place you've known as a home for all his life was not an easy task maybe even worse by the silence his guide presented after saying goodbye to one of his only friends he felt them he felt there warm tender embrace he could feel there kindness and empathy radiating within him.
"I'm sorry link I know this must be hard for you, to just leave everything and go on a journey like this but hey at least you're not alone you've got me and I'll make sure we get through this together, ok." The child-like voice spouted, sounding not much similar than his own.
"Thank you" he whispered
"What's your name?"
" I'm Y/N " they replied with childlike enthusiasm.
"Do you think we will really stay together through this" he spoke silently walking into Hyrule Field.
"Yeah well we got to, I know you have navi, but who else is going to watch your back." The guide exclaimed to the child hero.
And they did, even when link had went to the master sword sealed within it's pedistle anxiety radiating within him he pulled sealing his fate.
Saria was gone
Princess Ruto was gone
Dariunia was gone
Zelda was missing
All he had was navi and his guide
Y/N had proven to be a beacon of light in his dreary adventure' not to say Navi wasn't helpful but Navi never had any helpful puzzle solving skills and the guide had an odd but unique scence of humor.
Whenever the mood got dark and whenever link let his mind wander too much he could always count on his guide to make a off-color/strange, funny joke, awful pun or even just some reassuring affirmation to keep his Spirit's up.
But then it all changed as soon as the master sword was pulled out of its pedistle it all changed the young boy had the body of a young man, but not the mind to match. And everything, was changed not just the young hero but his land castle town was decrepit, a shell of its former self,Zora's domain a frozen pit, and gororn city all but abandoned.
Hyrule had gone to "heck in a handbag" as they said the one thing stayed the same, his only constant thus far his guide.
Y/n
But things never really got better after finding all the stages but y/n remaind through every hardship trial and quest no matter how bleak it got at least he had people to rely on navi and his self proclaimed "guide".
Until the inevitable end.
Zelda was taken by gannondorf, trapped in a crystal and taken to the remains of Hyrule castle.
This was the endgame he knew it and so did y/n.
"Don't worry link we'll rescue Zelda and save the day together ' we just gotta!" They exclaimed with the typical childlike nativity.
Link on the other hand was not so sure he couldn't escape the sinking feeling that something bad was going to happen regardless of how this was going to end.
"Ok then let's finish this and bring peace to Hyrule!" Link exclaimed.
The battle and escape was grueling, every attack from Gannon hurt tenfold however this was nothing with his guide and navi by his side the two people he could depend on most.
He could take on anything, right?
"Right, Y/n......"
"Y/n"
"Y/n"
" I'm sorry link The adventures over it's time for me to go" they sniffled.
Were they crying?
"Please I already lost navi I don't want to lose you too' don't go please." He sobbed did everything they went through together.
"I,m so sorry I don't want to go but the adventures over I wish I could stay longer but I cant"
"I'm sorry link, goodbye."
And then as if he felt his soul leave his body they left.
Just like that.
There warmth and tenderness he felt all throughout his very being was gone.
"Y/n"
"Y/n"

Thanks @xyoonx for inspo! Presenting short snippet in honor of our beloved archmage Clayden (and his most wonderful legs that ever graced Godheim (✿◠‿◠) ) Also thank you to Sumida, for providing me valuable feedback on writing emotions!
Tumblr media
Atop the Magi Tower, under a glass ceiling, the light from shining stars above illuminated the darkened bars of an ornate cage. Vines of blue roses clinged to the bars like the prisoner inside the cage clung to a maple leaf in her hands. The cage was moved from the imperial palace yesterday and she could vividly recall the freezing cold that surrounded all her senses when archmage Clayden lifted her limp body in his arms and carried her the short way from carriage to inside her new prison. Nothing really changed. Only the feelings of immense despair and powerlessness grew the more she realized that the bitter end was closing in.
Painfully gently, he lowered her on the makeshift bed inside the cage. Her frozen bones eased a bit and she clutched onto his shoulders in a silent plea. Do not go. Do not leave me alone.
His mind was in such turmoil like never before. Here, in front of him was a woman he longed for so long to meet and know. He cherished his beloved savior, carefully collecting and clinging to every maple leaf she gave to him. It was his beacon of hope, his light, illuminating the dark path he walked upon. It was comforting to know that somewhere in the universe there is a person who cares about him, protects him. For every wrong he did, for another despicable act he committed, he apologized in his mind to his savior. Somehow it was fitting that they were in a cage - a cage of his culminated guilt. When he first met her, he thought she was lunatic. Again and again she proved him wrong, tearing apart his carefully crafted armor around his heart to the point where he questioned his own sanity. Was he the lunatic one? For her, yes. And yet, he had to commit the final, most unforgivable act. Her life for his world. His love for the survival of others.
His eyes were glossy, brows furrowed in conflicting expression as he knelt down, looking straight to her own, equally veiled pools. He opened his mouth, trying to say something. If he did, she didn’t hear him. His slender fingers grazed the back of her hand, neither of them providing warmth to the other. Something was placed in her hand and she gazed down upon the object - a small, dried maple leaf. Was it raining? She asked herself in a daze as the leaf hungrily drank their falling teardrops. Softly, he closed her palm around the leaf, sealing their fate.
I cannot dream.
I cannot share.
I cannot feel what I feel.
Through her teary eyes she smiled at him. She understood his silent message. The world he was trying to save was above everything. In that moment she truly envied Godheim. To be so selflessly loved, cherished and protected… how nice it would be, if she were the recipient? How utterly selfish of her, to wish for something like this. Yet, she wished. For an ideal reality, where they would be an ordinary man and woman. They would have their own cozy place nestled somewhere near the river with windmills in the background. She could see them sitting on the riverbank, fingers laced together, enjoying the scenery. She would lean her head on his shoulder and her only worry would be the greatest philosophical question of life - what would they have for dinner.
Leaf in her hand, she pressed it to her throbbing heart. Still smiling, half submerged in her domestic fantasy, she took him by his right hand and placed it shakily on her cheek. His palm was freezing but so was her skin.
“In another life…” Her voice broke down and after a moment of silence, his thumb stroked her cheek gently, encouraging her to continue.
“I wanted to say, in another life, I would have really liked just having cats and doing taxes with you.”
“I’d love to.”
A soft smile spread on his lips as he imagined them both, happy and safe, surrounded by cats. We may be in a cage, a cage of guilt. But, for this one night, before everything ends, we are allowed to be a little selfish. And I love you, I love you…
I love you.

One last night | Theo Raeken x f!reader
Summary: It's movie night with your boyfriend Theo or where Theo's selfishness ended up with bad consequences.
warnings: character death, angst angst and I think that's all.
a/n: english isn't my first language so please let me know for any mistakes:]
You were in your room preparing everything for the movie night with your boyfriend Theo. The movie was ready to go on the tv, the popcorn in the bowl and some snacks spreading all over your bed. You decided to change your clothes for something more comfortable so you put on a pj short and you grabbed one of Theo's t-shirt he had left in your home, which was much bigger than you. You thought he wouldn't mind it but at the same time you were nervous, it was the first time you used one of his clothes and it feels so intimate.
As you wait for him lying on your bed looking at the ceiling, you remember how the two of you started dating a few weeks ago, even if the pack Stiles doesn't trust him. To be honest, when Theo arrived at Beacon Hills you didn't trust him either, you thought he was a suspicious guy, always smiling and trying really hard to get into the pack, but one day, everything changed. There was a pack meeting about a plan that went wrong the night before and everyone was blaming you.
''You were supposed to be there to save the guy, where were you!?'' Scott yelled angrier at you.
''Well, I'm sorry to be knocked out for a werewolf but shit i'm a human for your information'' you answered frustrated, why are they blaming you? you did save the guy, he was in the hospital but he was alive. did they prefer you were dead?
''Hey! Everyone calm down, you should be grateful that yn it's alive and that guy too, yeah, we received a bunch of hits, but then again, we are supernatural creatures and we heal fast, but she doesn't, so stop blaming her'' He grabbed your wrist and began to walk out of the house with you behind. He opened the door of his car for you, you hesitate for a second before to getting inside. Once he started driving, you didn't even know where you were heading but you remain silent. He parked at the entrance of your house, you didn't ask him how he knew your address.
''Thank you for defending me back there, but you didn't have to I-'' ''Of course I have to, I know how feels to have everyone against you'' he cuts you off, closing his eyes for a moment.
And that's when you looked at him in a different light, he was just like all of you, a teenager with his own problems. You were surprised by his actions but you were grateful so you ask him out to dinner with you as a show of your gratitude and he accepted, and that brings you both to the present day.
Theo was walking to your house, his head was a complete mess. He have a meeting with the Dread Doctors and their order was clear ''No more distractions, our time is limited'' he knew exactly what they meant by distraction, it was you. He didn't want to put you in danger but he also didn't want to be away from you. He has to break up with you, tonight.
There was a knock on the window of your room and you knew it was your boyfriend. He entered your room quietly, his gaze was on the floor. Before he had the opportunity to say something, you were already in front of him with a big smile on your face, he looked up at you which made his heart speed up, you were wearing his t-shirt and it fits you so well, he was loving the view and he couldn't say anything, he was speechless, there is not a word to describe how beautiful you are.
''Are you okay? You don't want to watch the movie tonight? It's because it was my turn to choose one? You have to trust in my tastes, babe'' you joked making him smile a little. He just can't get enough of you and he decided to be selfish with a good reason for the first time in his life, to be with you one last night before breaking your heart and his.
''I'm okay, it's just you look so good in my clothes'' he grins hugging you ''it's that so?'' you chuckled and he placed a little kiss on your forehead. ''let's watch the movie babe'' you two moved to your bed, his arm resting in your shoulder to hold you closer to him. You were watching the movie, eating the popcorn and snacks, sometimes laughing and asking why the characters are so complicated, but Theo, all the time he was looking at you, trying to memorize your laugh, your smile, your voice, everything of you like if you were to disappear in any second.
At some point you laid your head on his chest, in this position you could hear his heartbeat, it was a calm sound so that's why it was your favorite position to sleep in. So it wasn't a surprise to Theo when you began to fall asleep in his arms before you were fully asleep you mumbled three words that made his heart melt ''I love you'' He couldn't help but crack a little smile in his face, but he didn't respond you, not because he didn't love you but because then he wouldn't have the strength to be away from you. He placed the empty bowl and some snack leftovers on your nightstand. He watched you one last time before closing his eyes and began to sleep too, only to begin dreaming about the two of you, in other circumstances where he could freely tell you every day and night how much he loves you.
You awake in the middle of the night, it was something you do almost every night because your mouth becomes dry and you needed to go downstairs to drink some water, so that's what you did it. Theo felt the absence of your body but he didn't worry too much to wake up and knowing your routine in the night, he stays in bed. But there was a sound like metal crushing the floor and he knew exactly who was, Theo hurriedly run downstairs to get you before the Dread Doctors, but was too late, your body was lying on the ground of the kitchen, blood coming out of your mouth and he couldn't hear your heartbeats, suddenly he realized, you were dead.
''Now you don't have any distractions'' They say before disappearing in the darkness of the night.
Theo was on his knees, his arms wrapping around your limp body and tears running over his cheeks, he shouldn't have come tonight, he shouldn't have talked to you in first place, he shouldn't fall in love with you.
''I love you too...'' He sobs harder.
And now you were gone, just like that, and you left him with his heart breaking in every breath.

The Scientist and The Astronomer
Tumblr media
Summary: You love the stars; staring up at them without a care in the world.
Warnings: swearing, injury, mentions of blood, romance, fluff, kind of long, Best Friends to Lovers, self-doubt,
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The moon shown high over New York City; Leonardo deciding that the four should split off, something goes wrong, immediately contact the others.
Donatello stood on the rooftop; scanning the area for anything crime related. After Shredder went missing, Donnie had been stressed, trying to find where the man had gone.
---
You walked out of the bakery, waving bye to your coworker. You'd taken a job at a small bakery to save some money for college. You walked out the back and headed to the alley; humming to yourself, you looked up at the sky. The neon lights of the city obstructed your view of the stars, but the moon shown like a beacon.
Glancing around, you made your way to the rooftops. You loved studying Astronomy. You'd hoped that some of the stars would peak through; sadly, that never happened.
This night was just like any other night, you pulled your knees to your chest as you stared up at the sky. The bright lights of the city bounced off the sky, making it lighter. The horrible moments of the day came rushing back; school, some customers at work; sometimes, it got too much, you needed an escape. So, you looked for the stars, hoping just one day, one moment; the smog from all the lights in the city would disappear.
---
Donnie continued on to the next block; it was definitely going to be a slow night. His radio picked up, "Still nothing?" Leo's voice asked.
"Nope," Raphael replied.
"Dudes, this is so boring!"
"I still got nothing," Donnie agreed. He paused, seeing a figure on a rooftop close to him. "Guys, I'll get back on that." he turned off his radio and jumped over. He landed with a loud thud, the person, jerked.
"Hello?"
"Hi, sorry, I didn't mean to scare you," he said, trying to keep himself hidden in the darkness of the building as possible.
"You didn't scare me." she sighed; Donnie sat down a little bit away from her. The worst came to his mind, he swallowed,
"What are you doing up here?"
"I should ask you the same thing; so, mystery person, what are you doing here?" That got a bit of a laugh out of the purple turtle,
"I just enjoy the view from time to time," he lied. It was so simple and casual that it didn't really seem like a lie at all; you nodded in agreement.
"I can see why; I mean sure the view is gorgeous. Sometimes, don't you wish you could see the stars?"
"Yeah, sometimes; although, I'm not really an astrology person," he admitted. "Are you?" you nod,
"When things got bad, I looked to stars; well, that was before we moved to New York, that is." Donnie thought for a moment,
"Well, you know the board walk near the Statue of Liberty?" you nod, "Out there, past the statue, you can get a great look," he explains.
"Thanks, I'll check it out later," she smiled. Donnie felt his heart race as you turn to look at the stranger. His face was barely lit by the city lights, you turn towards him fully, "What's your name, stranger?"
"Donatello." You thought for a moment,
"LIke... the Florence sculptor?"
"Yeah...someone that we've known since we were babies named us that; Dad liked it and kept it." Donnie cleared his throat, "What about you?"
"Y/n," his face flushed.
"That's a nice name," you let out a laugh. An embarrassed blush threatening to warm your face; Donnie radio started going off. "Shit, I have to go. You stay safe, yeah?" he said, nervously.
"Yeah," before he could leave, she added. "You stay safe too, Donatello. I would really like to see you again," He nodded, before she left for the fire escape.
---
Weeks went by since the night you met Donatello. You couldn't get him out of your head; you decided why not to go to the board walk near the Statue of Liberty.
You leaned over the railing, the sun set over the ocean line. Today seemed worse than the last; another customer had screamed in your face for getting their order wrong; another had thrown their drink back at you, that's when your boss told you that you could leave. You did, went home and showered.
Here you were, on this board walk trying to find some escape. You heard a thud behind you, "Hey."
"Hi," Donnie walked over to you and leaned over the railing.
"Pretty, right?"
"I never thought I'd see them again, as silly as that sounds," you mutter.
"No, not at all." you glance over at him, his face was somewhat lit up by the small lights. You noticed his skin was green and scaly, on his face he had on a mask under a pair of glasses.
"So, what's with...all of this? Wow, that came out not what I wanted," Donnie laughed.
"Trust me, not as mean as you think." he paused, "You're not scared."
"of course not."
"Um...it's kind of complicated." he went on to tell you about how he and his brothers and father were experiments and after a fire; they were rescued, and they made a home in the sewers. He also went on to tell you about how they defeated Shredder the first time and how they got rid of the weird thing in the sky.
"So, what are you guys, some kind of superheroes?" he let out laugh,
"Something like that."
He stared down at you, the wind was blowing your (h/c) hair. His radio picked up again; you look at him worriedly as he turned it off completely.
"Isn't that your brothers?"
"They'll be fine," he shrugged.
"What if it's important," he shook his head.
"They'll be fine without me; they've done it before."
You only nod, the thought of his brothers in trouble still in the back of your mind. "Don't worry, Raph can literally throw shipping containers with his bare hands," your eyes widened. "They'll be fine," you laugh mostly out of shock.
"Wait, you're serious?"
"Uh-huh," you couldn't believe it. Sure, them being mutant turtles was one thing, but ones that can lift thousands of pounds without breaking a sweat?
The two of you stayed on the boardwalk, talking about anything and everything. You asked about what it was like growing up, he told you that it was very strict, they couldn't go up to the surface until they were fifteen. He went on to say how worried his father was for them. You placed a hand on his; it almost shocked you that he only had three fingers.
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked."
"No, it's fine." he went on to tell you about the police knowing of their existence, you listened and hung on to every word. The two of you didn't even realize that hours had passed.
You told him about your love for the stars and how you always loved to study them. How you looked to them in your darkest moments; how you started to also love small things like sunsets. Donnie loved to listen to your voice as you gushed about what you were interested in. He loved when you listened to him; him talking about how he built things and his interest in science.
Your phone went off, confused, you looked at it. "Oh, fuck, my mom is going to kill me!"
"What's wrong?"
"It's almost midnight," Donnie thought for a moment.
"Shit, my brothers are probably looking for me."
"Looks like we're both fucked," the two laughed.
"I'll take you home," he offered.
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah, plus, my way is faster." you stare at him a bit confused as he picked you off your feet with ease. You stare at him in shock, "Is this okay?" You nod; weird, normally, he'd never ask at that to April or Casey before.
You hang on tight as he jumped across the rooftops, you tell him where you apartment was. He landed by your window; he placed you down on your feet, you wobbled a bit, before you could fall, Donnie grabbed you.
"Sorry, I should've warned you," he chuckled.
"You do that every day?"
"Every day."
"That was amazing," he thanked his green skin, or his face would be on fire right now. You cleared your throat, "I should get going." He nodded; he didn't realize the position the two of you were in, his arms were tightly wrapped around your waist; your hands on his biceps.
"I'm sorry," he didn't pull away from you. He pulled you into a hug; however, "Thank you."
"For what?"
"Listening to me and not being scared of me," you frown.
"Donatello," you whispered.
"Donnie; you can call me Donnie," you smile.
"Donnie," he liked it. Before, it was just a nickname his brothers had given him, but the way it rolled off your tongue made him like it more. You stare up at his gold eyes; without thinking, you got on your toes, your lips pressing a soft kiss to his cheek.
Thank God for his skin! Pulling away, you blushed. "I'm sorry, that was uncalled for."
"No, no, I liked it!" he choked, "Sorry, I mean." he groaned; why couldn't he pull this off like Mikey? Then again, he'd probably laugh and say some crude joke. "I didn't mind it," your ears felt on fire.
"I'll see you later?"
"See you."
You glance up at him from the alley with a wave; he waved back, once you were in the safety of the building, Donnie waited until he saw a light on the fourth-floor light up.
---
Another week passed since Donnie and you had talked. You were with Donnie once again, this time back on the rooftops. The two of you sharing a pizza, "Then, Mikey came out of nowhere and just knocked the guy out." you laugh, "Like I love my little brother, sometimes, he scares me."
"I don't have any siblings so..."
"You don't?" you shook your head no.
"My mom had a lot of fertility issues; when she had me, she didn't want to risk having another child taken from her." you swallow,
"I'm sorry to hear that; did you want siblings?"
"Yeah, I've always wanted a little brother; at school, I became the Freshman's older sister in a way." You explain,
"Is school fun?"
"Not really, it can be, but no. It's boring and you're forced to learn things that you don't even want to know," Donnie nodded.
"I never got to experience school, as far as I hear, it's kind of like a mini hell."
"Pretty much," you mutter taking another bite. You thought for a second, "Hey, Donnie, you said that your brothers had tattoos; do you?" you ask, changing the subject.
"Oh, yes, but I have it on my leg," he explained. He whipped off his hands before pulling his right leg up, you gasp as the large piece taking up most of his leg.
"That's so cool!" He chuckled,
"Thank Mikey, normally, I'm the one to tattoo my brothers, but I wanted it on my leg. He has the steadiest hands, surprisingly." He pulled down his pant leg, before taking another slice.
"I always found them cool, but my mom would kill me if I got one." you added, "Plus, they're expensive."
He nodded in agreement; you sigh, leaning against his shoulder. "What's wrong?"
"Work is getting worse; I swear, some people are just downright awful."
"What happened?"
"Same old, same old; a person came in complaining about how I over charged her when I didn't. I told her we had to up our prices cause the owner is having less business. She went on complaining about how she's been here for years and how she didn't deserve this treatment." You made a mouth with your hands, as you told him with a stupid obnoxious voice.
Donnie choked out a laugh, "I'm sorry, I don't mean to laugh at you. She sounds like a bitch," you nod.
"She was." Donnie leaned his head to the side, his cheek pressing against your hair. You let out a laugh, tilting your head back, pressing you nose against him. "Thanks," you whisper.
"For what?"
"Listening and being there for me," he smiled.
"Any time," his arm wrapped around your waist as he moved his head to look at you. He stared deep into your eyes, his heart threatening to beat out of his chest.
They didn't know who moved first, but soon, they were barely an inch apart. "Donatello," he moved; his lips pressing against yours. Your arms tightly wrapped around his neck as he pulled you closer; pulling away, you stare at him,
"I'm sorry...I...I," you pull him back in. He tensed for a second before melting into you once again; pulling away again, your face was beat red. Donnie hesitantly reached up; his hand felt freezing against your face.
"I'm so happy I met you, Donatello."
"I'm happy I met you too, Y/n."
The rest of the time, you two spent together was in each other's arms. Donnie's radio started to go off; you frowned, "You should go. It sounds like they need you," he nods.
"I'll meet you at your apartment, promise."
"Donnie," he stopped. "Please, be careful."
"I will."
---
Donnie arrived at the place; Michelangelo was down on the ground, bleeding. Donnie punched the foot ninja in the face, sending them across the alley.
"About time," Raph sneered.
"I'm sorry, I was a little busy!" Donnie retorted as Leo appeared.
"No fighting right now, please!"
After The Foot was taken care of; Donnie rushed to Mikey's aid, the orange turtle was pressed against the wall, his side bleeding.
"We have to take him back to the lair," Leo ordered.
"No, the lair's too far for this type of wound. Raph, carry him, I know where we can take him."
---
You were at home, waiting patiently for Donnie to come back. You sat on your bed, your leg bouncing as a knock interrupted your thoughts. You pull yourself quickly off the bed and rush over to the window; you pulled it open. "I'm sorry," he whispered. "Mikey's hurt, you're the first person that was close enough to help."
"Bring him inside," you walk out the room and grabbed a first-aid kit from the bathroom. Walking back into your room, all four brothers were inside, "Put him on the couch." Raph walks out the of the room and into the living room, placing Mikey down. Donnie gave a quiet thank you, before going to attend to his brother.
Leo looked towards you; he didn't know who you were, but Donnie definitely did. He was going to trust his brother's judgement; after an hour or so, Mikey was out on your couch. Donnie walking up to you,
"Thank you for letting me help him here," you nod.
"Of course, is he going to be okay?"
"Yeah, he'll be healed by next week," you put the med-kit away and noticed the distant look on Donnie's face.
"Are you going to be okay?"
"Huh?"
"Yeah, I'm fine." You light grab his hands,
"Please, talk to me." He glanced over at the three before nodding; you take him into the privacy of your room. "What's going on, Bub?"
"It's my fault that Mikey got hurt; if I just got there faster, he wouldn't have gotten hurt." You give a comforting squeeze to his hands, "It's just...ugh! I've never felt this incompetent before, it's frustrating!" He was silent for a moment,
"Donnie, do you want me to comfort you?" he nods, "Donatello, you the most intelligent person I know; however, it's okay to make mistakes. Michelangelo getting injured was not your fault, there was no way you could've prevented him getting hurt when you weren't there in the first place. There's no one to blame, but The Foot Clan," he stared at his feet. You slightly tug at his hands making him look at you, "You understand that, right?"
"Yeah," tears started to roll down his cheeks and stain his mask. You quickly brush them away with your thumbs,
"I understand why you feel like you had some fault to his injury. But he'll be okay, you said it yourself; he'll be back to his jokester self in about a week."
Donnie held your hands to his face, "Thank you."
"Any time, I'm here for you, Donnie." Leaning down, he pressed a light kiss to your lips.
---
Leo watched from the corner of his eye, a small smile spreading across his face. Shaking his head, he glanced back down at his baby brother.
"What's going on?" Raph whispered, leaning towards the leader in blue.
"Nothing, just two friends talking."
---
The week came and gone, Mikey was healed and fully moving around. You moved across the rooftops waiting for Donnie; you heard a cough behind you, turning you weren't facing Donnie, but his oldest brother, Leo.
"Leonardo, what are you doing here?"
"I knew you'd be waiting for him; I just wanted to give you my thanks."
"For what?"
"Not only helping us, but Mikey last week. He'd bleed out more if he took him to the lair; plus, Donnie is really happy around you. I swear, sometimes, before he met you, I didn't see him sleep at all. I actually catch him sleeping at regular hours sometimes; I don't know what you did but thank you."
"I didn't do anything," you pointed out. He let out a chuckle,
"Well, I suppose it's because he likes you," your face turned bright red.
"How?"
"Please, if it's obvious by the way you look at each other. I saw you two when you talked to Donnie," your heart raced. You didn't expect that he could see through the cracked door that well, "Thank you, for taking care of my brother. I should get going; see you around, Y/n."
"See you around, Leonardo."
After your talk with Leo, you and Donnie met up. He covered your eyes as he took you somewhere, "You're not planning on killing me, are you?" You joked; he scoffed,
"Never," when your feet touched the ground; Donnie pulled the cover off your face, you gasped. You could see the stars from where you were standing.
"How did you?"
"I found this place a while back; I wanted to um...do something special," he explained. You noticed that he didn't have his normal gear on; Donnie was wearing a pair of jeans with a T-shirt. "I'd hope to um...ask you out on a date; I know that I can't properly take you out," he rubbed the back of his neck, nervously. You smile, grabbing his hand,
"Of course, I'd love too." He let out a sigh of relief; you rolled your eyes playfully as he took you over to the blanket. Sitting down, you lean against his shoulder as the stars winked back at you. Donnie leaned towards,
"Wait just a few more minutes," he whispered. You glance at him a bit confused before you turned back at the sky. The sky was suddenly lit up with streaks going through; your eyes lit up,
"A meteor shower!" You stood causing Donnie to laugh as you stare up at the sky.
You felt a pair of arms wrap around your waist; you lean back into Donnie's chest. It ended, you glance back at Donnie, who was staring down at you already. Turning in his arms, you smile up at him. The both of you didn't speak as Donnie leaned down, pressing a kiss to your lips.

I really like when interesting narrative things happen in fights due to various game mechanics. Examples:
- against the Masks in Auntie Ethel's lair, Roman went down to death saves for the first time. Gale was the closest and got him back up. Ronan never even needs healing so I like to imagine there had to have been a moment of anxiety within the party over that along with the strengthening of comraderie between Gale and their cleric as he hands Ronan a few healing potions.
- along the monastary traul, there is a fight with some death shepherds. In that fight, Gale actually dies for a moment, down to death saves before a ghoul finishes him. Ronan has to use revivify for the first time before the rest of the party take out the last remaining undead. After, I like the idea of Ronan fretting, uncharacteristically shaken as he heals up the chunk missing out of Gale's neck.
- the party has a habit of singling out someone in a room and taking out that one person with no one else being the wiser. So I just really like the image of Ronan walking into a room silently, letting everyone in, and closing the door as he nods to Karlach and Astarion to take care of the very confused person watching all this happen.
- this happened in the prison under moonrise towers to the warden, along with the party just hanging out behind Gale in the warden's office as he had thunder wave prepared and aimed at the door to take out the scrying eyes that came through. This took several minutes so I imagine it the party is genuinely just chilling and chatting as they wait. Ronan's standing resolute with his hand on his mace, watching Astarion drink off the dead Warden while he and Karlach, whose perched on the desk, discuss next steps. Extremely chill, bloody, and funny scene to me.
- while protecting the portal for Halsin, Ronan was put in front of said portal, cast spirit guardians, guardian of faith, had lathanders mace, and was genuinely just a beacon of light as he blinded nearby enemies and took out anything that got past Gale casting fireball or the other two picking off larger targets. In game, he's being a cleric making full use of the capabilities I tend to ignore for most fights. Narratively, since Ronan usually stays back and focuses more on keeping everyone alive and well while picking off smaller targets so everyone else can do the impressive damage, I like the idea that it was a stark reminder of what Ronan is capable of. Especially to certain vampires looking to murder their old master.
- Astarion gets down to death saves A LOT. Just all the goddamn time. Most of Ronan's healing is going to keeping him going since he's specced to be in the face of opponents, his armor sucks, and also I forgor all the time he has a fucking bow. Narratively, I like to think Astarion is doing it somewhat on purpose as it gets him physically touched in a way that is intimate, yet not expectant of anything more. Fucked up way to get intimacy for the guy with intimacy issues.
- adding onto that, the second time Ronan had to had to use Revivify was during the fight with the Apostle of Myrkul. Astarion went down to death saves, and before Ronan could get him back up, he was knocked off the platform and dead. Immediately revivify him and a healing word to keep him going. I like to think Ronan ordered him to stay out of range and swap to his bow, but Astarion ignored that, ran up, and got the last hit on the big skeleton and then was EXTREMELY smug about it later when Ronan had to patch him up. Again.
- last one: at the circus, I sent Ronan up at Dribble's request. Obviously, clown man turned out to be evil and combat starts. By game mechanics, Astarion is most likely to be first in initiative and he does just that here. I didn't see the other guys closer by, so we send the rogue to go stab a clown, at which point I notice there's like 2 other dudes in the lineup. So game wise, I make a mistake because Ronan is a tank who can 1v1 a clown for days, but narratively: I think it's a cute idea that Astarion sees the large dragon man he's in a relationship with (and who he needs to help kill Cazador) get threatened by a dog and a clown and just snaps into action before anyone else has a chance. That's adorable to me.

Please read the warnings before reading.
He was the most beautiful person I had ever seen. He was the beacon of light that guided wayward ships through the night. He loved with all his heart and fiercely protected those around him. He was everything I ever wanted in a man.
“Are you ready?”
The man across from me was wearing a cheap business suit. Her love would never be caught dead in a suit like that. He had class and taste.
“Where would you like me to begin?” I asked, looking down at my hands resting on the table.
Glancing up I watched him smile politely, “From the beginning of course.”
Five Years Earlier
“Are you sure this is okay?” I asked.
(Y/N) (Y/L/N) smiled widely, “For the final time, yes. I cleared it with Jensen yesterday.”
My stomach fluttered hearing his name. When (Y/N) found out my favorite actor was her childhood best friend, she immediately set up a time for me to meet him. We were on our way back to her apartment to make dinner for the three of us.
“Do… Do I look alright?” I pulled on my black tank beneath my favorite red flannel.
“You look great. Don’t be nervous. Jensen is a regular guy and I’m really hoping my two friends will become great friends on their own. Don’t think of him as a celebrity.”
I scoffed, “That’s easier said than done.”
(Y/N) pulled into her parking spot and turned towards her, “Everything will be fine. I have a good feeling about all of this.”
Present Day
(Y/N) was right. The evening was one of the best in my life. The three of us drank and laughed and ended up in a snuggle pile on the floor. Jensen was the perfect gentleman and I fell more in love with him.
“When did things change?”
My eyes snapped up to his, “About a year ago. I noticed (Y/N) and him were getting… closer.”
“That upset you?”
I nodded, not wanting to talk about it.
“Part of the deal is you tell me the truth. All of it.”
“I know.” I clenched my jaw, “Yes. He and I had an understanding then he started being with her more and more.”
I watched him jot down a few notes on his notepad, “Is that when you came up with your plan?”
I nodded again, looking towards the small window in the room. The sun was shining in spreading warmth over her skin.
One Year Earlier
I parked my car in its normal spot. I spotted (Y/N) walking in front of the floor to ceiling windows. She was wearing one of his shirts again. I looked closer to see it was my favorite shirt from Jensen's. As I thought of his name he appeared in front of the window. The golden rays from the sun kissed his tan skin.
When I was going to get out of my car, I watched Jensen pressed (Y/N) against the glass. His hands sliding down to her ass squeezing each cheek. His lips trailing down (Y/N)’s body until I could no longer see his face. Her back arched off the glass as his hands pulled down her panties.
My heart was cracking into a million pieces watching the two people I loved the most being intimate. (Y/N) never told me she had said yes to Jensen when he asked her out. She never asked me if I was with him or wanted to be with him. She should have known that I wanted to be with him. How many times had I told her how special he was to me. How he had saved me.
I continued to watch him bring her immense pleasure. The desire for me to be in her place pooling in the pit of my stomach. It was supposed to be me standing there. It was supposed to be me crying out his name. It was going to be me.
Present Day
A small tray of snacks and sodas were brought in. Talking about everything made my appetite disappear. I stared as the man took a long drink from his water bottle then popped a few grapes into his mouth.
“The night you went to Jensen’s home, what did you see happening?”
I smiled, biting my lower lip, “That Jensen would see I was the right woman for him. That he would be gentle and kind letting (Y/N) know he didn’t truly love her. That he was in love with me. That he had always been in love with me.”
“How did you know?” I arched an eyebrow as he continued, “That Jensen was in love with you?”
“He told me so. He was always telling me that he loved me. That he would always be there for me. Protect me. That is why he is the only man worthy of my love.”
I looked over the man’s shoulder to the mirror on the wall. Tilting my head to one side and waving at myself.
“He is here, isn’t he?” I asked.
The man’s face hardened, “That was part of the agreement.”
I smiled, “And, the second part of our agreement? Will it be upheld as well?”
“Yes, as long as you tell me everything. Truthfully.”
“Then continue with your questions. What else would you like to know?” I leaned back against my chair, my bracelets clinking together as I crossed my arms over my chest.
“There is only one part left to tell. What happened the night you went to Jensen’s?”
Two Days Earlier
The house was dark and quiet. My private entrance was open as always for me to come and go as I pleased. (Y/N) was visiting her family back in Dallas all week while Jensen was staying behind in Austin. I had talked to him a little earlier to let him know I was coming over. I took his no response to mean that it was fine. I made the all too familiar trip to his bedroom. As I approached his room, I could hear the echoes of skin smacking together. My blood began to boil.
Peeking inside the door, Jensen was thrusting feverishly into (Y/N). Her cries of pleasure filled my ears and my rage was bubbling to the surface.
“Ohh… god, Jensen… fuck.” (Y/N)’s nails dug into Jensen beautiful back, “Fuck, harder Jensen.”
Jensen buried his face into (Y/N)’s neck slamming into her until both of their bodies began to tremble. (Y/N) cried out his name as he lazily pushed into her a few more times. I touched the cold steel pressing into my back watching Jensen roll off of her best friend.
“I’m so glad you came home early, pretty girl. I missed you a lot.” Jensen pulled (Y/N) into his side kissing her forehead.
Present Day
“Pretty girl was my nickname. That is when I entered the room.”
He kept writing notes, “And what happened next?”
I pushed out a harsh breath, “I demanded to know what was going on. I wanted to know why he was fucking her behind my back when he had invited me over!”
“Calm down, please. I only want the truth of your side of what happened.”
I took in a deep breath letting it out slowly, “I’m sorry. It’s very upsetting to talk about the love of my life being with my best friend.”
He nodded, “I imagine that would be very upsetting. Do you need a moment or would you like to continue?”
“I want this over with so I can speak to him.”
He sat back pressing his pen to his notepad again, “Please finish your story.”
“Jensen and I argued. (Y/N) tried to get in between us and I defended myself with the knife I had in the back of my waistband. I didn’t want to hurt anyone, especially my best friend. I was just so angry and devastated. The two people I loved the most betrayed me and broke my heart.”
I wiped away the tears falling down my face as the man closed his notepad. He stood from his chair and a spark of hope ignited in my chest.
“I will send Jensen in a couple of minutes.” He walked out the door.
I looked in the mirror fixing a stray hair that was stinking up and tried to wipe away the bags from beneath my eyes. I ran my hands down the front of my white t-shirt hoping he would not notice the wrinkles on it. My eyes snapped up when I heard the door open. My heart was pounding in my chest as the comforting smell of woods and whiskey filled the air. Watching as the man of my dreams, the love of my life walked in.
My heart dropped seeing him holding (Y/N)’s hand as she walked in right behind him. Her left arm in a sling and bandages peeking out beneath her shirt sleeve.
“The agreement was to speak to Jensen alone.” I huffed as they sat across from me.
“I asked for (Y/N) to come with me. She deserves to be here more so than I do.”
I looked into the deep olive eyes of the man who still held my heart and soul. He was breathtakingly beautiful in a simple denim button down and his hair looked so soft brushing down against his forehead. I desperately wanted to reach out and run my fingers through it.
“We just want to know why? Why spend all this time getting to know me, befriend me and become someone I cared about so much? Was it all because I was friends with Jensen?”
I could see (Y/N)’s eyes welling up with tears. I truly felt bad for her. I didn’t mean to stab her in the shoulder. All I had wanted was her to back off of Jensen and everything could have gone back to the way it was.
“At first, it was to get close to Jensen. I had met him plenty of times at conventions but could never spend quality time with him.” I looked over at my beautiful man, “You were always so sweet and loving to me. Calling me pretty girl every time you see me. Flashing that beautiful smile that would light up my world.”
Jensen folded his arms across his broad chest, never looking directly at me. I turned my attention back to (Y/N).
“It was destiny that I ran into you at the Dallas convention. You and I hitting it off as quickly as we did. We were meant to be friends. Best friends, which was perfect since you were already Jensen’s childhood best friend. We could all be happy together. Jensen and I together finally and you as our best friend.”
Jensen scoffed, “That was never going to happen. What gave you the idea that I wanted to be with you in the first place?”
His harsh tone aggravated me, “You told me. The first night we met at (Y/N)’s apartment. She had fallen asleep on the couch while you and I were sitting on the floor sharing a bottle of whiskey.”
I could not help the smile spreading across my face at the memory playing in my head, “You pulled me into your side as we watched a horrible TV movie. You asked me why I was such a big fan of yours. I told you ‘You’re changing the world, and I want to be a part of it’. And what did you say to me?”
“I have no idea what I said five years ago.”
My heart broke in two with a final crack emitting from the center, “You told me I already was a part of you and always would be. That we would change the world forever together.”
Jensen stood up walking towards the door, “I can’t listen to any more of this.”
“Wait! Please, don’t go yet. I know what I did was wrong. I should have been honest from the beginning.” I looked over to (Y/N) silently pleading with her, “I’m sorry I hurt you. You know that right? I feel terrible about hurting you. Both of you.”
I looked back up at Jensen only for the small spark he always lit inside of me to be extinguished by the look on his face. Anger burned in his eyes before turning to pity as he held his hand out to (Y/N).
“Just a second.” She reached out, placing one hand over mine, “We’re going to make sure you get the best help possible. I believe deep down you have a good soul and I want you to flourish into the person you’re truly meant to be. I forgive you.”
Tears streamed down my face hearing (Y/N) say those words.
“I forgive you and if it’s alright I would like to come visit you from time to time.”
I nodded, “Yes, of course. Both of you, please visit me.”
Before (Y/N) walked out the door, I called out to her, “(Y/N), I forgive you too.”
A tight smile appeared on her face, “Thank you.”
***
As soon as (Y/N) was outside the in-patient behavioral unit she let out a long, shaky breath. She had not expected to be so emotional seeing her friend locked up. Jensen ran his hands carefully down her arms.
“You’re an amazing person, (Y/N) (Y/L/N). There is no way in hell I could have kept my composure like you did.”
“What did the doctor say?”
Jensen sighed, “He believes she has some form of Borderline Personality Disorder stemming from a traumatic childhood. From what he can gather, she probably watched a lot of TV to escape her home life and fixated on me from when I was on Days of Our Lives. At least, that’s what she had told him during their first session.”
(Y/N)’s heart broke for her, “I meant what I said, Jensen. I want her to have the best care and I want to come visit her.”
He lifted her chin in order for her eyes to meet his, “Once again, you are a truly amazing person. I will make sure she is taken care of. For now, we have an appointment with a caterer for a very important date coming up.”
“Yes we do, Mr. Ackles.” She smiled, twirling the ring on her left hand.
“Your chariot awaits, Future Mrs. Ackles.”
He held out his elbow for her and she looped her good arm through his. (Y/N) looked back at the double doors leading back into the behavioral unit. Her friend flashing before her eyes from when they first met and being replaced by the last image of her saying she forgave her. A silent vow that she would not give up on her.
Six Month Later
(Y/N) was lying out in the backyard waiting for Jensen to return from directing his Walker episode with Jared. Their friend and bodyguard, Clif, walked out holding an envelope.
“This was waiting for you at the gate.”
Her name was written on it with no postal markings. Dread pooled in the pit of her stomach. Before she could open the letter, her phone rang.
“Hi doctor, is everything okay with…”
“Mrs. Ackles, I regret to inform you that your friend has escaped the guarded unit. She managed to find a way out by befriending the overnight porter. He was found unconscious in her bed. The original detectives from your case are searching for her now. They will be in contact with you soon, but I want you to be prepared that she may come to your house.”
(Y/N)’s hand began to tremble and a phantom pain radiated from her shoulder, “Oh my god… um, thank you for calling me. I will call my husband right away and take all the necessary precautions.”
She ended the call and quickly went into the house. Clif was already on the phone with the detectives and (Y/N) tried calling Jensen’s phone getting his voicemail immediately.
“Jensen, she’s out. Clif is talking with detectives now. Handsome, please be careful. I love you.”
(Y/N) sat on the couch, clutching the envelope in her hand. She did not need to look at the letter to know who had left it. Her doctor had told (Y/N) weeks ago that she could no longer visit. She had read in a magazine about her and Jensen’s wedding.
Looking down at the letter, she opened it, taking out the single sheet of paper. She gasped reading it and her phone buzzed with a Facetime call from Jensen.
“Are you alright?” He asked, immediately upon seeing her face.
“No. I-I’m scared.”
His eyes widened, “I’m on my way home right now. Everything will be okay. The detectives have patrols coming to stay outside the house.”
“Hurry home, please. I love you so much, Jensen.”
“I love you too, pretty girl. I’ll be home soon.” Jensen ended the call.
She set her phone down beside her standing from her seat, “I know you’re here. You don’t have to hide.”
(Y/N) watched as she stepped out from the shadows of the room holding a gun out in front of her.
“As I said... Jensen. Will. Be. Mine.” She pulled the trigger and the shot rang in (Y/N)’s ears.
The letter floated down to the floor beside her as pain spread throughout her chest. Looking over, she read the simple sentence again, praying Jensen would get to her in time.
He will always be mine and I’m here to take my place. XOXO, Me.
The darkness crept over the edges of her vision until dragging her into the dark abyss.

Someone tells Team RWBY and JNPR that they're proud of them, how they've grown, how they did the best they could, and that they're amazing.
(well, you never did ask for this to be fluff... I apologize now for the heart break)
“Ruby, you and your friends have grown up so much since you last attended Beacon. I am so proud of you.”
Ruby froze in her tracks as the ruins of Beacon loomed over her and her friends. She watched from the corner of her eyes as grimm started to make their way out of the shadowy ruins, growling and howling as they circled around everyone and kept their distance. Her arms shook as she couldnt believe who was standing right in front of her, alive and well. “M-mom…”
Summer smiled and walked closer to her daughter. “You all have done well, but now, its time for you all to rest.”
Ruby slowly lowered her scythe and took a deep breath as she watched Summer walk closer. “You’re… you’re alive.”
“I am, and its time for you all to come home-”
“That isnt mom, Rubes,” Yang said as she took a step forward, gauntlets ready. “This has to be a trick!”
Summer stopped for a moment and eyed Yang with a wicked grin. “But I am your mother, firecracker. You used to call me super mom, slayer of monsters and baker of cookies.”
Ruby turned to Yang, watching her sister shake at hearing those words. “Yang?”
“Mom..” Yang said as she lowered her arms. “But… how?”
“How am I still alive?” Summer made her way to Yang and pulled her into a hug. “I made a deal with Salem. My life in her service, and you and Ruby would be spared. No one would go after you, no one would hurt you. And so, I kept a distant eye on the two of you and your friends. You all had been amazing… until you decided to undermine every single one of my actions to keep you all safe.”
Ruby took a step back as she watched Yang push Summer away and break out of her hug. “You’re… you’re not really mom. Mom would never-”
“I would do anything to keep you safe, Rosebud. Now, I ask you one last time: please stop fighting and take your friends home. Everything will be over soon and we can finally be together again as a family.”
Ruby raised her scythe and took a shot at Summer, clipping her shoulder. “I have to stop Salem.”
Summer winced and let out a heavy sigh as she gripped her shoulder, silver eyes almost turning black as night as her motherly tone turned rough and annoyed. “Then so be it.”
“Ruby, watch out!” Jaune called as he braced himself to block a beowolf from attacking from behind.
The grimm swarmed around Ruby and her friends, ursa and beowolves rushing at them from a single command from Summer. Ruby cut through grimm after grimm as she watched her friends do the same. Glyphs from Weiss surrounded everyone to funnel the grimm to a single opening while Yang and Nora took the front to keep the grimm back. Blake and Ren nearly blended into the shadows as they took their positions in the ruins of Beacon to pick off as many grimm as they could from a distance.
Ruby turned her focus onto Summer once more as she watched her mother fade away into rose petals. “Why would you work with her? She wants to destroy humanity!”
“She doesnt want to destroy humanity,” Summer said as she faded away, her voice trailing in the wind as she moved. “She wants to save us. And I’ll do anything to keep you safe.”
Ruby let out a yell as she slammed her scythe into an incoming ursa and turned around to watch her friends. The glyphs had started to crack, the dust in Jaune’s shield was starting to flicker as the dust crystals energy was starting to be used up, and Nora and Yang were starting to get pushed back by the endless wave of grimm. With a soft whisper, Ruby closed her eyes to calm herself to remember the words she had been told by Maria. “I need to protect my friends, the ones I love and care for.”
Summer watched from the ruined tower as a wave of light washed over the ruins and froze the grimm around her daughter. A smile crossed her lips as she leaned against the frozen wyvern that still stood atop the tower. “I really am proud of you and your friends, Ruby. But its time to stop playing hero and rest. It’ll all be over soon.”

Ozqrow Week 2023 Day 3: Nothing Bad Ever Happened AU
(Day 3! Give it up for day 3 of @ozqrowweek 2023! This one turned out to be a bit longer than I expected it to be intially. I'm not even sure that this half will even fit onto this post because I forgot the limit for tumblr, but I will most likely have the complete version up on my ao3 which is MissWritesALot55, so if you currently interested in seeing that or anything else, please do check it out. Without further ado, here's to Day 3!)
Ozqrow Week Day 3: Nothing Bad Ever Happened AU
Friday night dinners at the Xiao-Long Rose’s house were always something. From marriage announcements to Branwen twin brawls to full-out food fights that spanned across the property, Ozpin and their kitchen table had seen it all and this night was no exception to that.
Since dating Qrow in combat school through their time in Beacon all the way into adulthood, he was no stranger to the bombastic personalities of the members of Team STRQ and their daughters. Most of the time, he coasted through the craziness of it all until he had to participate in it actively.
But on this night, he and Qrow would be inciting a bit of chaos of their own because they would finally announce their engagement. Among other things.
Qrow and Ozpin had been together for half of their lives to where they were basically married, they just didn’t have the papers to say so. Everyone in their lives - friends and family alike - had long-standing bets on when these two would finally tie the knot - so far, James and Tai are in the lead.
And now, that time had finally come and they were ready to tell the family.
Ozpin was a bit nervous - anyone would be when making such a big announcement - but as he and Qrow walked up the dirt path with his giant pot that he for some reason that Summer always asked him to bring, he reminded himself that this was his family and while they might be a little pissed at the added announcement toward the end, they’ll be happy for them nonetheless.
“You doing alright there, Ozzy?” Qrow asked, snaking an arm around his waist.
Ozpin nodded, “I’m fine. Just excited for tonight.”
Qrow smirked, pecking a kiss to his temple, “Me too. Can’t wait to see the look on Tai’s face when he finds out he lost to Ol’ Jimmy Ironwood. And who knows, maybe he’ll let us keep some of his winnings.”
“And here I thought you were going to say something romantic like how you can’t wait to be my husband.”
“Well, yeah. That too – but think of all the money we’ll save Oz!”
Ozpin chuckled, playfully pushing Qrow as they got up to the door, “Alright, alright. I see your point. Just try not to let your excitement get the best of you,” he reached for the doorbell, “I doubt Tai has much money in this silly bet anyhow–”
The door opened, and a flood of yellow light poured into the darkness outside. The men turned to greet whichever of the Xiao Long-Roses were waiting on the opposite side – only to be met by the heiress of the Schnee dust company standing in the doorway, mouth gaped open in shock.
“Pro – Professor Ozpin?” she exclaimed, barely able to hide her surprise.
Ozpin flashed a nervous smile at the girl, “A-Ah! Good evening, Ms. Schnee. I…I didn’t expect to see you here…at all.”
“I – I didn’t expect to see you here either, Sir. N-Not that I’m not happy to see you here! Though, I have to ask, why are you here? And who is this?” Weiss asked, gesturing to Qrow.
Ozpin opened his mouth to explain when a pair of speedy and pounding footsteps came and cut him off before he could even so much as get out a breath. A flurry of red crashed into view and crashed into Qrow as well, knocking him into the grass.
“UNCLE QROW!” The faux redhead exclaimed, kicking her feet happily as she hugged her arms around his neck tightly.
Qrow gasped for a breath, “Jeez, kid! You’re really gettin’ the hang of your sneak attacks, aren’t cha?”
Ruby giggled, “It’s so good to see you again! Uncle Oz wouldn’t tell me where you went and–”
“I’m sorry — Uncle. Oz?” Weiss exclaimed.
Ruby sat up and tilted her head, blinking in owlish confusion, “Yeah? What about him?”
“Ruby Rose – Are you telling me this entire time our headmaster has been your — your–!”
“Oh, would you look at that? Your mother seems to be calling me! Coming!”
Ozpin quickly shuffled past Weiss, catching a quick glimpse of Blake Belladonna on the couch before ducking into the kitchen where Ruby’s mother, Summer Rose, was already hard at work with several different pots and pans already taking up most of the space on her stove.
She hummed as she slid a freshly formed fruit pie into the oven, not noticing Ozpin’s presence until she turned around and jumped a little in surprise.
“Oh! Oz, I didn’t see you there! Did you and Qrow just come in now?”
“Ah, yes. We did,” he set the pot down on one of the free counters and took a seat at the table, “He’s a little tied up with Ruby and Ms. Schnee.”
“Ms. Schnee – oh! You’re talking about that Weiss girl? White hair? Long ponytail? Overly formal?”
“That’s the one.”
“Oh, I’m so sorry I didn’t warn you in time. Ruby brought them over while I was in the zone and it completely slipped my mind that you were both coming over today!”
Ozpin shook his head, “No, no. No need to apologize. It’s fine. Honestly, I’m a little glad that they all came here together. I don’t know if she or Yang told you, but they were off to a bit of a rocky start when their team first formed.”
“Oh, trust me,” Summer said, fists on her hips, “I’ve heard plenty about all the escapades and arguments that Team RWBY have been through. Can’t say it doesn’t remind me of us back in our Beacon Days, though. I think of it as a bit of a tradition.”
Ozpin chuckled, “I suppose you have a point. There hasn’t been a year without a team who have nearly driven each other mad in the first few weeks of school.”
“Still, I’d say they’re getting along pretty well! Yang has been talking non-stop about that girl Blake. I think she might like her.”
“You should see them at school. Their ‘flirting’, if you can even call it that, is atrocious. They’ve been reprimanded so many times, I’ve lost count of all the professors who has come to complain to me about them.”
Summer hid her laugh behind her hand, “That’s Yang for you. You might have Qrow give her some lessons on how to talk to girls better!”
Just then, said avian man fell through the kitchen door, rubbing around his collarbone. “Man, that kid’s got one helluva grip these days.”
“Qrow! Oz and I were just talking about you. We were hoping you could give Yang some advice on girls. We think she might have a thing for her new teammate.”
Qrow quirked a curious brow, “That so? Man, our sunny little dragon’s growing up so damn fast. Already throwing her hat in the romance ring. Next thing you know, Ruby’s gonna start wearing high heels, of all things.”
Ozpin scoffed, “I highly doubt she would go that far.”
Summer laughed, “If I know one thing about my daughter, she would never be caught dead in those – what did she call them? ‘Stupid lady stilts?’’
Ozpin couldn’t help but laugh aloud, quickly clamping a hand over his mouth as soon as it came out.
“I’m going to go check on the girls. See if they need any more refreshments. Could you guys watch the things on the stove? Maybe give them a good stir once in a while so they don’t burn?”
Qrow saluted her, “Will do, Boss.”
“Thank you!” she chirped.
She untied her apron, tossed it on the back of a chair, and went out to the living room with a pitcher full of fruit tea. Ozpin breathed a sigh of relief, burying his head in his hands.
“Brothers, this is not how I imagined the night going,” he said.
“I know, but there’s not a lot we can do about it,” Qrow said, already taking over chef duty.
“Maybe…maybe we postpone the announcement for next time?”
“You sure?”
Ozpin nodded, “I wouldn’t want to make Weiss and Blake uncomfortable. This is their first time here, and I’m sure they already feel awkward with me being here. I don’t want to push any more boundaries tonight.”
Qrow nodded, “Alright. We’ll keep it chill. Though I think you’re being a little hard on yourself.”
“I’m their headmaster, Qrow. What if their progress goes down the gutter because I didn’t disclose our relationship–”
“You don’t have to ‘disclose’ anything to anybody,” Qrow said, turning his head back to him, “You weren’t there when Ruby and Yang’s files were being sent through, right? You weren’t there when their admissions letters were being looked over, and even if you did, I know you’d have only picked them because they trained hard and did their best. Not cause they’re your nieces. If you wanna tell them all that, that’s fine. But if I’m being honest, it doesn’t look like they care all that much. Hell, I’d say they’re still doing just fine.”
Ozpin perked up, ”Really?”
“Mhm. The Schnee girl’s still in shock, but she seems to be getting over it a little. I swear, she’s like a cartoon character with how dramatic she is.”
Ozpin chuckled, “Don’t let her hear you say that. She’d blow a top if she found you talking like this.”
Qrow smiled softly, “See? You’re feeling better already.”
Ozpin hummed, “Well, I wouldn’t say that. But, you did help alleviate some of my anxiety, so thank you for that.”
“It’s what I’m here for.”
Ozpin got up from his seat, walked over to Qrow, and wrapped him up in a hug from behind. Qrow chuckled, turning his head and placing a kiss on Ozpin’s cheek.
“I love you so much,” Ozpin said, burying his head into the nape of Qrow’s neck.
“I love you too, Oz,” Qrow replied with a laugh.
“I really do.”
“I know.”
“I’m really glad that we’re finally doing this.”
“Me too.”
“I love you.”
“You already said that, Oz.”
“Would you two stop being so disgustingly sweet in front of the food? You’re going to ruin my appetite?”
The couple whipped their heads in the direction of the new voice that entered from the back door. Qrow’s twin sister, Raven, looked them up and down with a bit of faux and real disgust.
Ozpin flushed red, “How long have you been standing there?”
“Long. Enough,” she replied, turning her attention to her brother, “Interesting to see you play househusband for once, Brother.”
Qrow shrugged, “What can I say? I’m a man of many talents.”
Raven rolled her eyes, “How long till dinner so I don’t end up losing my lunch?”
“Don’t know. I was just told to stop and stir until the Boss Lady comes back.”
Raven nodded. Something in her face changed. She quirked a curious brow and looked over Ozpin.
“Something wrong, Rae?”
“What were you two talking about before I came in here?”
Ozpin loosened his grip on Qrow, “Nothing important. Just the same old sappy romance stuff, as you and Qrow call it.”
Raven continued to stare at them with unconvinced eyes, slowly nodding, “Suuure.”
Without saying anything else, she walked past them and out into the living room to join the others. The couple exchanged foreboding glances.
“She knows,” Ozpin said grimly.
“We don’t know that,” Qrow argued, though something in his eyes told them both that that was likely untrue.
“You saw the way she was looking at us!” Ozpin whisper-shouted, “She knows.”
“She knows something. And it’s probably not about us. Maybe she’s just in a weird mood!”
Ozpin frowned, “You don’t honestly believe that, do you?”
“Look, even if she does know something - which she probably doesn’t - I don’t think she’d say anything in front of the others, especially with new people around.”
“I suppose you’re right…”
“It’s gonna be fine. We’ll get through this dinner and then next Friday or something, we’ll tell them for real. I’ll even sit next to Rae to make sure she doesn’t try anything.”
Ozpin sighed, “Okay, okay. This is fine. This. Is. Fine. Everything is going to be fine and I am not going to quit my job as Headmaster after tonight.”
“Right. Good job staying positive!”
Ozpin groaned, though he couldn’t be too upset.
Friday night dinners at the Xiao-Long Roses are usually full of surprises and the unexpected, and he was no exception to that.
No matter how hard he tried.

Heist
“Papa?”
Sly Cooper, now in his middle-age, looks up from his book in his study.
“Yes Rose?”
“How did you and Mama meet?”
The elder raccoon chuckles to his younger daughter. He closes his book, and beckons to his child.
“It’s quite a tale.”
Rose Cooper approaches her father, and climbs on his lap, perched on his knee. Her eyes shine with admiration and curiosity.
“So, when I was younger, I was visiting Paris for the first time. Sightseeing via rooftop, like all the best tourists do.”
“Eventually, I stopped for a break on a Opera House.”
“An Opera House…?”
“It’s like a large, building for operas and stage plays. I’ll take you to an opera when you’re a little older.”
“Anyway, I was there, taking in the scenery, when I was suddenly attacked!”
The little girl gasps softly. “Attacked???”
“Yep, there were too many men for me to fight, so I was quickly captured. And then-”
He pauses briefly.
“Then, the most beautiful woman I had ever seen appeared. Your mother.”
“Then what happened?”
“Well, your mother, who was in charge of the men who attacked me, thought I was a bad guy. So, she locked me in a closet, until a friendly janitor came and let me out.”
Sly’s daughter tilts her head, fascinated. Sly continues his story.
“I ran into your mother again, who was looking for a jewel thief in the building. She thought I was the thief, but I told her that I knew who the real thief was.”
“Who was it?”
“It was a sneaky, bad guy who managed the stage controls. So, with your mother’s help, we both captured the bad guy and saved the day!”
“And then you guys fell in love?”
“Well...not yet. The falling in love part was a slow process.”
“How come?”
“Well, your mom and I didn’t really see eye to eye on some things. We didn’t really get along at first. Actually, your mother was very feisty when she was younger.”
“I heard that.”
Sly looks up to see his wife, Carmelita, leaning in the doorway to his study.
He smiles warmly. “Well, am I wrong dear?”
She folds his arms. “You’re not wrong. But what makes you think I’m not as feisty now as I was then?
“Well, you did marry me…”
“Very funny…”
The raccoon looks back at his daughter. “We worked together on a couple of jobs, and things developed. We fell in love, got married, and had you.”
“So...that’s it?”
“Yeah.”
“...Oh.”
Sly cocks his eyebrow. “Were you expecting something else?”
“Well...how did you know that you loved Mama?”
There’s another pause.
The gray mammal thinks. “Love is a tricky thing. It’s also a very powerful thing. Love takes time, work, and commitment.”
“I think your mother and I realized that we loved each other when we put in the time and work to make each other happy. We were also very committed to each other in the end.”
He gazes back at Carmelita. “Am I right, dear?”
She smiles. “Most of the time.”
Sly pouts playfully. “What do you mean ‘most of the time’?”
The vixen chuckles. “I will admit there are days where I’d wished that that janitor never let you out of that closet.”
The retired thief laughs. “That’s love for you.”
Rose glances between her mother and father. “Oh yeah, you guys are in love alright.”
The little foxcoon jumps off her father’s lap. “What’s for dinner?”
Sly taps his chin. “How about...mac and cheese?”
Rose’s eyes light up. “Yes! Yes!”
She dashes out of the study. “Mac and cheese! Mac and cheese!”
Sly grins, and gets up from his seat, approaching his wife.
“I’m pretty sure that’s not exactly how our story begins,” Carmelita says to her husband.
He places his hands on her hips and pulls her in close.
“I will admit I left out the part where your boss almost fired you and you tried to arrest me.”
He kisses her, and she reciprocates. When they pull apart, her eyes shine like beacons.
“You also left out the parts where you were a thief and I was a detective.”
“I’ll tell her the whole story one day. Not today, though.”
The married couple walk down the hall of their home together.
“I think that was best heist I ever pulled.”
Carmelita turns to Sly. “What heist? You didn’t steal anything, remember?”
“Actually, I’m pretty sure I got away with your heart.”
The fox woman sighs, and he kisses her cheek.
“Only because I let you.”
The family have mac and cheese for dinner that night. It’s a meal that the three of them will treasure forever.

I’ve got a gigantic idea for a fic, one that would need many chapters and one i should probably not start because I can’t seem to finish things but if you would like to hear the synopsis please see below the cut ❤️
It would be a Dean/Cas centered fic with an OC (which I know most people don’t like, but the OC would not be in any romantic relationship. At least atm. And if she is it would not be with the main cast)
Alea (my OC) finds out she’s a nephilim. Either from her mother’s death bed or late mother’s letters to her. Haven’t decided yet. Thing is, her mother doesn’t know which angel it is. She did years of research to even find out what Alea was in the first place.
Her mother tells her to go to the park where there is a gate to heaven. (Is that gate even still active?? Lord there’s so many episodes of spn who can keep track)
Alea spends some time learning herself, her powers that have popped up now and again and tries to control them. It’s hard. She’s powerful.
So she packs a backpack and somehow gets to heaven. She’s done her research. She’s searching for one person. Someone her mother knew could help, someone her father told her mother on the one night they were together that if she ever needed any help with a weird thing contact the Winchesters. And after research of her own decided he’s the only person who could help search for who her father is.
Dean Winchester
She tried praying at first, but that didn’t work, so now she’s in heaven and not sure where to go first. Heaven is very different now of course.
She figures out to find The Roadhouse. She’s walking along a gravel road when a familiar roar (to our ears) of an engine comes barreling down the road. Lots of where are you going who are you “I’m not an idiot just because it’s heaven doesn’t mean I’m getting into a car with a stranger”
Anyway she gets in eventually because duh, this car, this guy, it’s gotta he Dean. Oh he’s heading to the roadhouse? Perfect.
Fast forward, talking, Cas comes in at some point, she’s like help please and dean is like well no? I can’t really? No body. Burned up. Poof. And in a fit of rage she’s like fine I’ll just make you one.
So she goes out into the fields and BOOM ANGEL NEPHILIM POWER ENSUES and she takes dean soul down to earth where she builds him a new body from the mud, (I have it all planned in my head, seaglass for the eyes, sand for his freckles ect. Lol)
She puts the soul in the body and poof new alive dean. She passes out then cause damn that took awhile. Dean is naked and like wtf. Cas saves the day. How did you know I was here? “Uh, I followed the gigantic beacon of light and power that just happened?”
So they go to the bunker cause it’s only place they can think of which of course triggers a bunch of alarms to Sam. He eventually shows up with his wife, Eileen, who is pregnant. (Yes let’s say God!Jack saves Eileen let’s gooooo)
Normal Brother like reunion happens. What the hells are exchanged. But Dean becomes absolutely exhausted because yo maybe she didn’t make this body so great? Even though he felt like 1000 bucks just moments before.
Cas takes him to bed…. Tehe. but just so rest and sleep okay.
They decide to help because of course they do and cas helps with the power thing. He tries at least. She has a few break downs. trees are not spared. she feels bad because GLOBAL WARMING CAS. She also still feels absolutely horrible about what she did to Dean. Dean was happy and it was over and she brought him out again. “should I kill him? I mean I can kill him. want me to kill you? im so sorry.”
Dean’s new body eventually starts to reject itself and he in his Dean way is like im FINE. Cas and Sam know otherwise. Cas as his husband now is like nu huh absolutely not TALK TO ME. So Dean tells him he wonders if it’s because the hand brand Castile had given him so long ago wasn’t there. (He also needed to get a new tattoo for anti possession so theres that too). So anyway in a heated erotic time Cas gives him another one and it helps his soul settle into the new body finally.
There’s some sexy wing action in this too just saying.
That’s all I got so far. Don’t wanna spoil who the angel father is just in case I do write this.

In the Stars (Cp. 10)
In the Stars Masterlist
Description: Harper doesn't want any pilot near her, at least as far as possible. But that's really difficult when you work around them. She has managed to keep her “no pilots'' rule to date. That's until Bradley Bradshaw enters the Hard Deck like a great wave, destroying everything in his way and smashing all the walls Harper had built all this years ago.
Pairing: Bradley “Rooster” Bradshaw x plus size!OC
Warnings: Mention of trauma, blood, crashes and sad stuff in general. There's some spice and mention of sex, but nothing too explicit. English is not my first language, so sorry in advance for any grammar  or spelling errors.
Rating: Teens and up
Chapter: 10/11
Word Count: 1,921 words.
Tumblr media
That morning, Harper woke up  from a nightmare again. She sat on the bed with her heart in her throat and beathing fast.
“Are you all okay? “ asked Bradley, worried, his voice deeper than usual from sleep.
Harper looked around and remembered she was in her room. Then she looked down and saw that she wasn’t wearing clothes, and neither was the man beside her. But the embarrassment was last in her mind as the nightmare repeated itself again in her mind
“Y-yeah. It was just a nightmare” she said, pulling her wet hair out of her face with a bundle. Bradley came a little closer to her and brushed her hair more delicately.
“You know you can tell me, right?” he said gently.
“It’s always the same. I see my father’s plane fall and they bring it to me to try to save his life, but I can’t do it” she explained looking at her hands, which in the dream ended up full of blood. What she didn’t want to tell him was that that night the dream had changed a little, the man they brought her had light brown hair, mustache and the most beautiful hazel eyes in the world.
Bradley stroked her cheek gently.
“It’s only a dream. That never happened, and nothing like that is gonna happen” Harper nodded and told him she would take a shower before going down for breakfast. It was still more than two hours before boarding time. When she came out of the shower Harper didn’t find him in the room, but decided not to make a big deal of it, assuming he would have left to prepare for the trip. She put on her uniform and collected her hair in a bun. Then she made the bed and picked up her suitcase to bring it down to the entrance. As she walked down the stairs, the smell of food got to her nose, something unusual. Harper left the suitcase by the door and entered the kitchen, where she found Bradley with his jeans on, but no shirt, cooking eggs and beacon. She couldn’t help but smile, thinking she could get used to this.
“It smells so good” she said with a groan. Bradley turned around with a smile.
“It’s my breakfast before a mission. It reminds me of my childhood” he told her, serving it on two plates. They sat at the kitchen table and had breakfast there, talking about anything but what would happen in a couple of hours. Harper then picked up the dishes before he could get up and took them to the sink so she could wash them. Bradley hugged her from behind and kissed her neck.
“By the way, I like the way you look in your uniform” Harper turned to look at him and Bradley kissed her for the first time that morning.
“We have to leave and you have to get ready” she reminded him with a smile between kisses. Bradley grunted, but broke away from her after kissing her one last time.
To avoid taking two cars, Bradley offered to take her in his bronco, to which Harper could not refuse. They passed by the man’s house, so he could put on in his uniform and pick up his suitcase, before heading to the port, where the ship was waiting for them. Arriving at the ramp to enter, they crossed paths with Phoenix, Hangman and Coyote, who upon seeing them arrive together quickly cheered and mocked them, clearly delighted to have something to distract them from the dark reality that hovered over them. Bradley ignored his friends and accompanied her inside the ship, to her medical room, where the bag she had prepared the previous day was already. Bradley locked the room door for some privacy.
“Your friends are not going to stop making fun of you”
“Friends? I think from now on I can only refer to them as...  What did you say? Coworkers” he scoffed, referring to the time they ate together. Harper hit his shoulder with a smile and Bradley took advantage of her approach to kiss her again. When they parted, Harper laid her forehead on his chest with a sigh.
“This is what I was trying to avoid, you know? I wish you hadn’t introduced me to them, because now I’ve grown fond of them. I didn’t push the pilots away because they were egocentric and I disliked them, it was to avoid this. I didn’t want to suffer again. I have seen thousands of pilots go in and out of Top Gun, avoiding getting attached to them is the only way to survive” she confessed.
Bradley made her look him in the eye.
“Closing yourself to the rest of the world is not an option either. Not feeling is not surviving, it is directly not living”
Harper sighed and hugged him again, hiding her face in the man’s chest.
As main staff, the doctor of the ship had to be at the meeting in which they announced who would form the team that would fulfill the mission. Maverick informed them that he would be the mission leader and that he wanted Phoenix and Bob and Payback and Fanboy as Daggers 3 and 4. Harper had spent enough time at the base to understand what was being talked about there. Daggers 3 and 4 were the support aircraft for the Mission Leader and his Wingman respectively. Admiral Simpson then asked Maverick who his Wingman would be and Harper felt that time stood still for a moment just before the instructor pronounced the name "Rooster". The woman felt the air get stuck in her lungs, but did not move, appearing professional. Bradley looked at the instructor before turning to look at her and meeting Harper’s gaze upon him. He smiled at her, as if to tell her that everything would be all right. The admiral informed them that they could leave to prepare and Harper fled that room as quickly as she could. She went into the medical wing to entertain herself by placing provisions, to prevent her mind from thingking, so her mind couldn’t decide that it was the first sign that her dream was about to come true. She hated being so selfish, but deep down she wanted Mav to choose anyone but him.
That’s where Bradley found her when he went looking for her. As soon as he entered the door, Harper threw herself into his arms, clutching tightly at the fabric of his flyingsuit, trying not to cry.
“You’d better come back. I’ll go and kill you myself if you don’t” Bradley laughed softly and held her cheeks to look her in the eye.
“I will return” he assured her, without a trace of doubt in his voice, before pulling her to kiss her one last time. Harper saw him leave with his heart in her fist.
Using her methods of conviction, she managed to get a radio to listen to the conversations with the team. With the white noise in the background, and nerves in full bloom, Harper recounted her medical material and placed it again. She hadn’t used it, so there was no way she would have spent anything, but she preferred to do something while listening to the pilots risk their life on that mission.
Still with the bandages in her hands, she turned arround worried when she heard that Dagger 2, Bradley’s code name, was too slow. Harper remembered what he had said: That fear and doubt paralyzes you, and she felt guilty. If she hadn’t put so much pressure on him about her father and the pilots thinking only of themselves…
She relaxed a bit when they announced that he was back to optimal speed. A few minutes later, she heard that they had hit the target, which made her smile. The first part of the mission was completed, now they had to return to the ship. This was apparently not going to be taht easy, if the shouts they exchanged over the radio were a sufficient signal.
Harper put a hand to her mouth when she heard that Maverick was informing Rooster that he had an enemy on his tail and that Bradley was out of flares. The next few seconds were chaos, and Harper had a dejà vu. Then she understood something they said on the radio: "Maverick is down". It was like being fifteen again, in the break room, listening as the pilots her father had been flying with shouted that "Gryffin was down” and that there was a lot of smoke. But this time one of the voices made her come back to reality.
“We have to circle back" reported Bradley, followed by negative responses from the base. Harper wanted to yell at him not to be an idiot, but then a second thought took the place of the first. Bradley couldn’t leave without him, it was Maverick, his instructor, his father’s best friend, the person who became his father when his real one was no longer there...
“Do it, Bradley. Save him” she whispered, knowing full well that he couldn’t hear her.
Her heart quickened again when hse heard that Roosters plane was also down. She couldn’t take it anymore. Harper dropped the things in her hands and ran from the medical wing to the main room. As soon as she entered the door two men stood before her to prevent her from advancing and asked her politely, but rigidly, to leave the room. Harper refused, struggling with them, and looked arround.
Vice Admiral Simpson turned at her sound of commotion and his sight met the anguished gaze of Harper Richards, who silently asked him to do her that favor. Beau Simpson had worked with Alan Richards, the man had been his superior for a long time, and he was at FighterTown when his accident took place. So he knew firsthand what was going through the woman’s head at the time. With a simple gesture he ordered his men to let her pass and returned his attention to the screens as he noticed her standing beside him.
Harper had no idea what was in front of her. She knew about anatomy and wounds, not computers or radars. But what she did know was that an empty radar meant that the planes weren’t there, that their signal was gone. She turned to look at Simpson first and then at the other staff in that room, but none of them looked back at her, none of them wanted to give her false hope. It was practically impossible for them to survive. She listened silently to the two other daggers being asked to return to the ship and the affirmative answers from Phoenix and Payback. At least the four of them were fine. But Harper could only think of Maverick, of his smile when he had recognized her in the Hard Deck, although she was only two years old the last time they had met. As if he remembered her even after thirty-six years. And of Bradley, of his hazel eyes glistening mischievously as she looked her up and down at the beach, of his smirk, leaning on the door of her house with his hip and shoulder and arms crossed. Of his wonderful smell, which now she could never removed from her skin...
Her nightmare, her biggest fear... had come true. She hadn’t lost one pilot, he had lost two.
And one of them was Bradley.
