Any headcanons or AU style things with Weiss

Hey friend~

Weiss is one of my fav lil goobers, but I realize I haven’t really sat down and thought much about her character. My brain just turns off when I see her it's just 'mm yes is Weiss :)'

Anyways, I gave it a go. If there’s anything specific you’d like to know (shipping/character relationships/her take on canon events) just ask me further. Enjoy my ramblings:

The eyelid of Weiss’ scarred eye is damaged, permanently drooping

She’s the queen of puppy dog eyes

I like to think she takes after Willow a lot. There’s a lot of shared personality, characteristics, even looks between them. She’s a mama’s girl and Willow’s ‘favorite’

Weiss is forever cold, always liking to bundle up in some aspect. If anyone warm is around, you can usually find her snuggled up with them

I'll ship Weiss with a lot of the main gorlies. Big fan of polypiles

I feel like she wears red because of her grandfather, keeping his colors around as a reminder, but eventually she also associates the color with Ruby. Seeing her as a leader and partner to look up to and rely on

She is so easy to read. There is no hiding how she’s feeling

I like to think she hates wearing heels, but damn if she wont continue just to keep the slight height she can afford

She likes to pet Blake and Vel's ears sometimes. Soft, warm, it's chill. (This comes from the anthology manga)

The sexual tensions between her and Coco sets off geiger counters

She will steal other’s clothes, having at least one item from just about everyone she’s on good terms with

There’s a response Miles gave about how her kebob incident with Cinder played a large role in shaping her current personality, and I totally agree with it. Escaping death def changes a person

Expanding on that, I also think Weiss is now rather anxious/paranoid about Cinder the way she keeps being targeted by her. Sudden fire startles her and Weiss refuses to split off on her own if on missions or anything open like that

Weiss eventually surpasses Yang in humor but it's cause of her dry wit, never the puns

Post Atlas, her and Winter are on more equal terms. Her sister's been knocked down the pedestal some in her eyes, but she still holds respect for her all the same. She can just act more casual with her like she does with team rwby

Weiss knows a lot of 'cultured' skills because of her privileged upbringing such as chess, orchestral instruments, dancing, sports like tennis and badminton, even cooking, but the one thing she could never manage was baking and it haunts her cause all she wants to do is make a yummy batch of cookies for Ruby 🍪

Weiss prefers coffee as her hot drink of choice, but she makes attempts to drink Blake's favorite teas so they can bond over that

Lately, I considered on getting into RWBY because of Penny Polendina, then when I found out that she was killed out during the events of volume 8, it was one of the few times when I felt a bit sadden that a character got killed off, as when I usually see a character death I would say “Well, that’s sad” and I’ll move on, but Penny’s death did something that rarely happens to me, it gave me a complete gut punch… Like anytime when I thought about the character, I honestly felt like I wanna break down as her death in Volume 8 was too soon especially when she came back in Volume 7… I heard about theories that she could come back in the future as the fate of Pietro is unknown and that there are some bits that are hinting in her return, I wanted to believe that but in the end, we don’t know about what RWBY writers would write in Volume 10 or any future volumes…. Is this weird to think about all of this?

I'm kinda the same and even if it's a fictional character and story, it means so much and influences a lot on our lives. Art is made to make us think after all, it's only natural such an unfair death is making us so sad ;;;;;;;

Also I ugly cried so HARD when she died, the only reaction I recorded from V8 is the finale, so I can still admire my broken heart from time to time-- I don't think I cried that much because of RWBY before that. Penny really became one of the most loved and appreciated character of RWBY, and truly it makes me so happy that so many people enjoy her, Nuts and Dolts, as well as her VAs work (Taylor McNee, one of the most adorable person on this planet ever). I feel like before V7 Penny was liked but still considered as a secondary character, now she's a part of the main teams (EVEN IN THE RWBY PIN SET FOR THE 10th ANNIVERSARY AAH) and a lot of people talk about her even 2 years after her death. In fact, I'm really happy we're a bunch of revival truthers after what V9 gave to us, so if we ever see her come back I swear, the whole RWBY nation will celebrate this day XD

Anyway, we don't know what could happen yet, but these theories are pretty strong from my point of view. So we can only watch to know, and until then well we can suffer and try to enjoy fanarts giving us stuff we were robbed of ;;; (what i'm trying to do with the FLUFF aha)

Fav male character: Jimmy (v8 ironwood isn't canon idc, v7 is what counts) and Tyrian

Fav episode: don't have one in particular but v9 ep9 was the most fun I've had in a while

Fav cast member: v1-3 Yang

Fav ship: Rosebird but I also like Schneekos, Crosshares and Spicecream

Character I'd die defending: Raven. fight me

Character I can't sympathize with: Jaune and Ozpin, like at all

Character I grew to love: Cinder, I used to absolutely hate her and now look where we are. Also Salem, I didn't hate her just didn't care much at first

Anti otp: anything that includes Jaune at this point, bmblb (didn't like it since I saw fanarts back in v2 it's not just because of recent volumes), STR poly or Tai x Raven
