The fact that one of the only 3 Survivors of the bogeyman apocalypse this season was Scott who didn't even know what the heck was going on was honestly hilarious to me.
Like, the other two? They knew from early on. They had teammates at the beginning, people to rely on. And, ultimately, Etho's loyalty is what saved both of them. If he betrayed them, they could have fallen easily. Especially Cleo. Grian, of course, had his cowardice to thank as well (which I don't thnk was a negative trait this session to be honest, bravery would have only gotten him killed, and what would have been the point of that?).
Scott though? He had nobody for almost the whole session. No allies, no info, no sense of self-preservation. He literally walked INTO the bogeymen assemble to give them a disc! So they could be spooky! He even hung around to see Gem when she just turned red and when she was literally patient 0 of this infection!
And yet he survived. With not that much damage either. He survived and completed his task and all that shebang.
Like, it's genuinely so hilarious. My man is such a survivor by nature that he can have literally all the odds against him and still thrive. Love that for him.

is it I back for more shitty long scollace prompts 😈😈😈 I'm so glad u liked the first ones cause like ik they're cringe 😭😭 anyway sorry again for how fucking long this is:
- I like to imagine they have a lot of movie nights cause scott just orders a ton and still rents movies from that place I forget the name of where Kim works 😭 most nights acott would prolly pick the movie but sometimes wallace gets a chance. idrk what kinda movies he would like but I feel at least once he would waste his turn to purposefully rent a movie he knows scott would hate just to see him suffer <3 true love. in his defense he had to sit through the sonic movie (or if it takes place in 2004 then sonic ova) at least a hundred times.
- I don't think scott would particularly be scared of horror movies but whenever they watch one wallace would definitely tease and try to freak him out. scott would get very annoyed and insist his teasing isn't working and in his defense it isn't!! it's a shitty 80s slasher film or at least he thinks until all the lights are off and there's weird noises outside. suddenly he's tugging on wallace and holding onto him without even realizing.
^^ I j wanna make a point bc I don't want this to come off as like babying or ooc or even fetishizing cause i think scott could definitely handle horror movies. I don't think he's a horror fanatic but he has respect for the classics. it's like wallaces relentless teasing after an especially scary horror movie he hasn't seen, in the middle of the night, with particular weird noises outside. it's like a rly specific situation cause he's usually fine with horror. I j wanted to makebthat clear cause ik there's like a lot of weird fanfics where scotts like an uwu soft boy and. ew. i don't mean it like that. bleh
- after they're official I feel like their dynamic would basically stay the same cause cmon they were pretty much dating before. only difference is now wallace gets to full on make out with him and give him a little more forehead kisses than he did before. at first I feel like scott would act annoyed or maybe not annoyed but dismissive of the little kisses not cause he didn't like them but bc he acted like he didn't like them before they're dating and he feels the need to keep it up. he doesn't wanna give wallace that satisfaction of I told u so u obviously enjoyed them. but either when scotts sick or even tired or whatever wallace gives him a little kiss and Scott pathetically is like another plsss ☹️☹️☹️. Wallace is like oh? now we like my kisses?? with his little smug ass face. when scott fully wakes up he still barely admits to liking them but now doesnt completely ignore them (he loves them). after like a week I think scott would give up the bit and embrace them like kiss it better?? good luck kiss?? goodnight kiss?? morning kiss?? greedy bitch
sorry for how much I write I j wanna like makebmyself clear plus I rlly suck with words so I hope this comes across ok. sorry these are worse but ofc I have more cause of the autism ☹️☹️ hope u enjoyed reading this fucking novel 😭😭
these are all so cute anon!! don’t you even worry, i haven’t been getting many prompts so these mean a lot to me. the first one shot (haircut) should be up as soon as my comic artist finishes the panels!!
shout out to @literallylee btw, they’re drawing some comics for the fics and they’re literally amazing, can’t wait for you guys to see them!!

I see your request are open soooo
Dra boys x child reader where mitch kicks a football and it hits y/n in the face please. Just thought it would be kinda funny
Idk why, but having to imagine Y/n getting hit for every scenario kept making me think of this video lmao
#StopY/nAbuse
I say with like 20 Y/n angst requests-
Mitch Higa:
He would never hurt you on purpose, he can only pray that you know that, despite your young age
The two of you were kicking the ball back and forth, and thanks to a distraction, which was totally not a group of girls awing at him and you, Mitch ended up kicking the ball a little too hard...
POW!
The moment he realized what he did, he immediately felt awful.
"SHIT! Y/n! Wait- Forget you heard that! I'm sorry! Does it hurt?"
He has no idea how to really help, so he just begs for forgiveness and gets you an icepack. Mitch decides to get you some icecream and VIP access for his next big game.
"Thank you, big bro!"
"Haha...Yeah... Let's just not mention this to our parents-"
Haruhiko Kobashikawa:
Mitch may be his friend and idol, but he was still pissed that you were hurt because of him.
"Y/n!! Are you alright? Does it hurt?? MITCH! What the hell, dude!?"
Haru's first priority is comforting you, which means getting you an icepack and a lollipop he stole from Kanata (Probably with your help-)
Kiyoka, Satsuki, and Teruya help cheer you up! Mitch apologizes multiple times, and Haru personally forgives him pretty quickly, but he won't make you if you don't want to
He tries to be more aware of your surroundings, and tries to keep you away from anything dangerous for a while, but eventually gets hit in the face himself
Teruya Otori:
He was NOT expecting it in the slightest. One moment he's talking about making new clothes for you, and the next, you're crying on the ground, clutching your face.
"AAAAAAH! Y/n!! Wha' happ'nd!?"
Teruya frantically runs to your side, and as Mitch runs over, he finally realizes what happened. He's angry at Mitch, but slightly understanding since it was an accident. He mostly feels mad at himself for not being able to protect you, but he knows basic first aid, so he helps you with that.
He thinks you should forgive Mitch, but won't push it. When your father found out about what happened, he spoiled you with practically the whole store.
Per your father's wishes, Teruya tried to keep a closer eye on you from then on, letting you help him and the sunshine quartet prank Mitch in revenge
Yamato Kisaragi:
"Y/n!! Ohmygosh! HELP!"
Anytime you're hurt, Yamato immediately freaks out and yells for help, even if you were barely scratched. His fears vanish after a few moments, but he still keeps up the silly act for you.
Sure, this wasn't his first time as a big brother, but he wasn't the kindest to Mikako when she was your age, and he won't make that mistake again. If he has to make a fool out of himself to show how much he cares about you, or even make you giggle a bit? So be it.
If you're still crying after some time, he'll make a show of hitting himself in the face with a football, too.
He'll lecture Mitch whether you'll there or not, but forgives him quickly, and will not hesitate to beg or give puppy dog eyes if you still refuse to accept Mitch's apology after a couple days.
He makes you a tiny safety robot to help watch your surroundings when he's not there (And also when he is there but he wants to look strong in front of you-)
Utsuro:
He had to be greatly distracted for his divine luck to not prevent this, and even then, he's still in shock for a few seconds after the ball hits you
"...."
He doesn't say anything, quickly checking you over and making sure you don't have a concussion. (Not like he'd have any idea how to help you outside of his luck in that situation)
Mitch apologizes, already hearing the boss music and older brother instincts from Utsuro kicking in.
"...apologize to Y/n. Not me."
He obliges, getting down on his knees at one point. Utsuro leaves it up to you to forgive him or not, but either way, Mitch loses almost every soccer game he's in for months afterword
Kakeru Yamaguchi:
"A-Ah! I-It's okay, Y/n! It was an accident, r-right!?" He reassures you, trying to give a comforting smile. (But it looks terrifying, and Mitch thinks Kakeru's about to kill him)
Mitch can only rapidly nod his head, getting an icepack. Even if the injury is minor, Kakeru would still bring you to Kanata to be extra safe.
You're soon smiling again as your Big Sis Kanata gives you a lollipop
He still feels bad about not being able to prevent something like this, so he'll basically give you anything you want for the next few days. You reassure him that it wasn't his fault and you love him, but you'll still accept his offers to carry you-
Kinji Uehara:
"...! Y/n, it's alright... Shh...I'm here..."
He's caught off guard, but is quick to calm you down. He keeps his voice soft and gentle, reassuring you that it would be alright, while also checking for signs of a concussion. Kinji will definitely bring you to Kanata just to be sure.
As long as Mitch apologizes, Kinji forgives him, and believes you should as well. Even if it's your face that's hurt, he'll offer to give you a piggyback ride to help make you feel better
He'll lecture Mitch later and have him properly apologize to you, but until then, he'll spoil you with attention
Yuki Maeda:
"Y/n! Hey...! It's okay, just show me where it hurts..."
He's sent into a panic at first, but relaxes a bit upon realizing it's nothing serious. He's moderately annoyed at Mitch, but calming you down is his first priority.
He's not very experienced in first aid, so he'll get an ice pack if you ask for one, and would take you to Kanata if you show any symptoms of a concussion.
Yuki forgives him within the day, and advises you to do the same since it was an accident. He reassures you that he will make sure nothing like this happens again
You wrap your arms around your big brother, and he hugs you tightly, promising himself to be more aware from now own
Tsurugi Kinjo:
Tsurugi was always protective over you, scolding his classmates any time they tried to prank you, and almost killing a man after he tried to kidnap you
The moment that ball hit you, Mitch knew he had to either start running or beg for mercy
So you have chosen... DEATH.
If you started crying, Mitch would be ending up in tears as well by the time Tsurugi is done with him
Your brother won't resort to violence, since it was an accident and he was his classmate, but Mitch got the scolding of a lifetime
Even in twenty years, Tsurugi would still be salty about this.
His overprotectiveness only increases and you start to worry that one day he won't let you outside-

How do you imagine the Scott Pilgrim characters interacted with the twst characters?
Anon, this is such an interesting but complicated question, and I, as always, took it way too seriously lol Both TWST and Scott Pilgrim have so many iconic characters, but it would be impossible to talk about every possible combination. So you know what, I’ll go through the cast of Scott Pilgrim, since it’s a bit smaller… Although I did ended up missing a bunch of them anyway because I didn’t have anything to say or because I simply forgot about them lol
Also, while the image of the characters in my head is all over the place right now with 3 different versions of the story, I’m mainly thinking about the anime version.
Alright, sooo.
The easiest one to talk about is unsurprisingly Wallace lol We like to joke about him enjoying his time at the Mostro Lounge and being a regular customer there. He is loved by the staff and especially by the Tweels and Azul, because he pays well, knows a lot about cocktails, doesn’t bother anyone (he could’ve if he wanted to, but the place is chill, so he behaves even when he gets drunk… just don’t tell anyone that the Lounge has alcoholic beverages now lol). They love him so much that whenever he visits they prepare his favourite spot at the bar for him. They love him so much that they named a cocktail after him lol They also love to gossip- I mean, exchange information with him (there is a sketch on our ko-fi with Wallace at the Lounge…)
Wallace would also probably enjoy spending time with Lilia, I feel like these two are quite a dangerous mix. Are they going to tease someone together or flirt with each other aggressively and end up having sex for some reason? Both, but the order is unpredictable.
But ironically, when it comes to romance and stuff though, I feel like out of all the twst guys the one that’s closer to Wallace’s type is Trey. Trey is such a Jimmy it hurts.
Now, Scott… I look at him and my mind is blank, I feel like he would just be freaked out by everything that’s going on, because this whole thing is too harry-pottery and weird; I can’t really imagine him befriending someone or someone being interested enough in him to even hang out… but at the same time, I feel like Scott will end up fighting all the housewardens for whatever reason. He’ll have more luck with some of them (Riddle, Kalim who didn’t even want to fight) than with the others (Vil, for example), but ultimately everyone wouldn’t know why this fight is happening. Ramona certainly doesn’t know – she is too busy hanging out with the first years, asking them questions about this world. A part of me wants to say that someone would get a crush on her, but these boys are too gay for that…
Stephen would find himself in the light music club, being bullied by the club members (mostly Lilia). They tease him, they torture him by not telling if his music sucks or not… Playing with them is unusual, because his own band’s energy is quite different, but it’s fun overall. If only they didn’t bully him like that..!
Kim is at the light music club too, quietly wishing to disappear and not witness this clownery. But unfortunately for her, Kalim would try to talk to her and just wouldn’t shut up. He just feels like since she seems so quiet and upset (angry??), maybe he could cheer her up by talking about the drums and stuff. In general, he only makes it worse, but surprisingly talking to someone so genuinely good-natured would be a refreshing change.
Matthew is a theatre kid, so sticking him to the Pomefiore people sounds fair in theory (and he would’ve definitely have a delightful conversation about music theatre with either/both Rook and Vil), but I feel like Kalim would’ve invited him to hang out… which means that Matthew is Jamil’s problem now. At least Jamil expected him to be a problem, but he was actually much less obnoxious that Jamil expected him to be, so it was a nice “huh” moment.
Lucas… he is such a Savannaclaw bro, and yet for the most part I can picture him surrounded by the first years, especially Epel lol Oh how much Epel would love him. He would really want to learn some skateboard tricks, and Ace and Deuce too… But I don’t think Lucas is really interested in teaching them, he just flexes for the most part lol
Oh, Cater skateboards right?? That’s perfect, considering he would also try to hunt Lucas down to take a picture with him, but probably wouldn’t succeed for some reason: Cater isn’t really lucky. Floyd would also be around (because Azul sent him to stalk big celebrity that arrived at their school for some reason) but wouldn’t get all the hype. He would be very into the whole skateboarding thing though, he’ll absolutely try to steal Lucas’ board to try it himself. Which means they’re going to fight and Epel is going to watch in awe…
Todd and Envy would also be stalked by a) Cater (he really wants his damn picture); b) one of the tweels (it’s Jade this time). Cater wouldn’t succeed again, this poor guy, but Jade is just unnoticeable and quiet enough to hang around creepily and learn some info for Azul. He also would invite them to the lounge at some point.
I feel like the only company in the NRC that wouldn’t drive Envy insane would be Vil or Jamil, so anyone who isn’t completely obnoxious and is bitchy enough to complain about petty stuff with. And since Jamil is a bit more secretive about his pettiness, Vil probably works better. Showbiz sucks, and certain annoying people from their lives also suck, so…
Todd would have an absolute journey. He could start by hanging out with Envy and Vil, but then, despite loving him to death and all, Envy would politely ask Todd to please go hang around somewhere else for like 20 minutes. Maybe it’s because Vil wouldn’t be impressed with the vegan talk at all… if only Vil knew the science.
It’s honestly surprising just how difficult it is to think about what Todd could’ve done: Todd works in mysterious ways. He doesn’t casually flex as much as Lucas, but he still might end up having a fight with someone. And knowing Todd’s luck, he might do it with someone who is also good at teleportation, which means… Todd, please don’t be stupid, don’t fight Malleus—This is such a stupid combo but also?? Would Malleus be amused by this foolish man? He might be.
But then at some point he’ll also end up at Mostro Lounge and see Wallace… and Azul would have to think about whether he wants to kick them out (he would’ve if it was anyone other than Wallace) or offer them a nice private room at his dorm. Maybe Azul should consider this as some new business model? Because with these two it worked surprisingly well lol
(Todd would definitely miss the opportunity to show-off his bass-playing skills :( too bad, I would’ve watch him duel both Lilia and Jade)
Julie would fucking hate NRC but at the same time she would instantly figure out who the most important and influential people are in here. So, she’d skip Heartslabyul (after kind of befriending Cater for mutual beneficial reasons), skip Savanaclaw (they have a prince, but he isn’t motivated enough to be useful), befriend the Octa-trio (yay more gossip and bitchiness!), befriend Kalim and probably annoy Jamil by this ‘cause parties, she would try her best to befriend Vil, skip Ignihyde (great, more nerds and virgins) aaand she would really want to get closer to Malleus but couldn’t, but she would still manage to befriend Lilia somehow. This girls works the hardest.
Roxie has nothing to catch at the NRC but at the same time she hangs out with dumb boys with anger issues all the time so maybe this is actually quite natural to her lol but she would still hate it and complain about  this stupid place having no girlies. She’ll definitely kick a lot of ass just out of frustration, but then somehow end up befriending someone very random like Jack for example. I guess she would consider him to be the least annoying, but even then it’s not much of a friendship, they just happened to be at the same place.
Or you know what? Get her to Diasomnia, let train with Sebek and Silver. She would be so annoyed with their dynamic, it would be priceless.
The twins would just go straight to Ignihyde and hang out with Ortho. They would really want to see Idia and discuss robo-mechanics with him, but Idia refuses to go out of his room because just hearing that “there are twins who want to see you” is too terrifying...
And Gideon and Azul are almost the same person, so it they would either join forces (while also planning to backstab each other at some point) or compete with each other openly. The first option works better I think lol And unfortunately, they’ll likely learn a lot from each other.

Alright, we've talked about Scott, now let's talk about Jimmy.
Jimmy is... shy. He's really sweet and super energetic once you get to know him and he becomes comfortable around you, but if he's not, then good luck getting him to say so much as a single word. He's the type to stand in the corner of the room at a party and wait for an extrovert to take pity on him.
He's very insecure. His hero persona, the Codfather, constantly wears either a full face mask or a helmet during fights, despite the fact that his sister, the Empress, does not and instead uses a magic glamor. Even in civilian form, he often wears a medical mask or a fabric one whenever he goes out because he doesn't like people looking at him.
He was raised by Lizzie. His mother was a famous hero who died in battle and his father was a civilian firefighter with water manipulation and siren song who got caught in the crossfire.
Jimmy always really admired his parents and the work they did, and was so excited when Lizzie found out she had inherited both her father's powers and her mother's control over the weather. She became a hero and joined up with the newly formed Alliance, led by Katherine.
He joined the Alliance a few years after she did as Lizzie's partner, but because of his late arrival and comparatively weaker version of his sister's powers (having only gotten his father's), people often viewed him as a sidekick rather than a true partner.
This pissed off Lizzie, who was super supportive and more than a little overprotective of her little brother.
One of her regular villains, Smajor, takes an interest in Jimmy from the moment he lays eyes on him. Jimmy's not sure what he's hoping to accomplish with the flirting, but he is very easily flustered and doesn't know how to flirt back.
He's not too worried about the flirting, though, because it doesn't really mean anything. He's more worried about Lizzie breaking her "no kill code" to absolutely skewer Smajor, judging by how her teeth grind whenever he gets too close for her liking.
One day, Jimmy's not having a great time. It's not one big thing, more like a million little things gone wrong, that all culminated in a reporter slipping up and calling him a sidekick in front of Lizzie. He left before she finished yelling at them.
Smajor finds him on a roof, brooding. He tries to bait Jimmy, but he's just... not in the mood. He doesn't know what happens, but suddenly Smajor has wrapped a wing around him and they're talking about older siblings.
Jimmy finds himself dealing with a small, not-so-insignificant crush. Scott starts leaving him a poppy on the battlefield when retreating and he wears it in his hair all day. The others notice. The teasing is relentless, and Lizzie looks about ready to commit a homicide.
At the same time, he's also dealing with a crush on a guy with blue hair and pierced ears at his local coffee shop. Lilac, the barista, says his name is Scott and that he's a regular. Jimmy has been dying inside, trying to work up the courage to go up to him and talk to him.
He once caught Scott staring at the poppy in his hair with wide eyes for some reason.
Smajor doesn't seem to change at all, and Jimmy doesn't really think that anything will come of either of his crushes no matter how bad it gets. Scott seems super aloof and mysterious, and he's always on his computer. And Smajor is flirty, but he acts this way with everyone, doesn't he?
But then he goes and gets himself injured to save Jimmy's life. He looks like he's bleeding out on the pavement and Jimmy knows he needs to leave if he doesn't want to get caught. All of a sudden he's kissing Jimmy to get him to shut up and then he disappears for months on end. Coincidentally, Scott also disappears around the same time.
Jimmy puts two and two together and realizes his two crushes are actually on the same guy. This of course comes with the knowledge that he actually kissed both of his crushes at the same time.
Jimmy freaks out. He's distracted in battle, and is disappointed every time the opponent they face isn't Scott. He can't get his mind off the kiss, and what it meant, and it's visibly affecting him.
He eventually stops going out with Lizzie at all, just hanging around the Alliance HQ and taking on a much more "behind the scenes" role because he just gets in the way more often than not.
Lizzie is extremely worried about him. Katherine, Pearl, Pix, they all know something's up. Joel has commented on it multiple times. He spends all his free time looking for Scott, but every lead he has turns out to be a dead end.
Finally, he gets something promising. A lead that could change everything. But he gets there and... nope, it's just Xornoth, and he's been lured into a trap. Fantastic.
Jimmy, to put it lightly, gets his ass kicked. He's distracted, he's out of practice, and Xornoth is a really powerful villain who he's never faced without Lizzie and the Alliance backing him. But just when he's on the ground, Xornoth standing above him and ready to deliver the killing blow, there's suddenly a noticeable drop in temperature, and the familiar sound of icy magic.
Jimmy opens his eyes and sees Xornoth about fifteen feet away, a massive icicle through their chest, and Scott standing over him protectively. He didn't bother to put on his costume, he's not even wearing a mask or a glamor.
Jimmy, now owing Scott his life twice over, hides him from law enforcement and the other villains in his house, since Scott's old place is compromised.
In those months, Jimmy and Scott make it official, and Scott resolves to retire from the super-scene. This doesn't last long, though, and Scott eventually becomes a vigilante, complete with an updated costume and a new name (which I haven't decided on)
Lizzie reluctantly accepted Scott as Jimmy's boyfriend, because although she still despises him, she can't deny that he makes Jimmy happy, and brings him out of his shell in a way even she never managed.

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
my week has been pretty great:
1. I won tickets to the Scott Silven event that was here. The menu was so unique and the experience was amazing. If I am ever in the same area again, I’m purchasing a ticket before I even know my schedule.
2. This was the dessert course and it was so good! it’s kinda a fancy s’more. The “bicycle” had to do with the experience.
3. My plants! I am a plant mom and I love my plants. I am paying off some bills now, so my plant purchases have been on pause. I have two air plants, the pink fittonia and my pink polka dot plant. I live love laugh them.
4. I have been seeing no this number for months now, and it’s freaking me out but I am also very excited. I am learning to trust my intuition. It is good, but I don’t quite understand it yet on what feelings and vibes mean what. I am also learning to trust it still haha.
5. I am reading Jennette McCurdy’s book, which i recommend so much. I have a stained glass film on my window so during sunsets and lower sun positions the colors go across my walls and room. :)
6. My work homies and I taking a selfie after our weekly Zumba classes.
7. I am so far academically very ahead right now or on track. It depends on how far in advanced the class posts assignments. I meal prepped the rice and veggies and when I got home from a rough shift of work after other tasks and my other job, I was able to just season and put my salmon in the oven. Homework and dinner combo made me feel really productive.
8. A fun selfie after my mini photoshoot last weekend. I had also just switched my sheets and was excited for the purple ones lol
Also, totally random, but I have been thinking about it in the back of my mind for a long time now: what if i did a podcast? So I have decided to start pursuing that. I am planning the episodes and going to look into the equipment I need. I am going to set up a fun tune for intros and outros and what not. I am so excited, wish me luck!

Topsy turvy purple and red
Teen Wolf crossover fanfiction.
Stiles Stilinski has a pretty good life. His dad is the sheriff, his mom is a beloved pillar of the community, his family is respected old money with a big old house out in the preserve, and sure he and his best friend Scott might be kinda geeky losers a little bit but they're not bullied too bad, and they're on the lacrosse team even if they don't actually play much, and this is senior year anyway which is kinda bittersweet but most of the stupid jock-nerd built dynamics are supposed to die with high school, right?
And then there's the new guy, and he must have had to repeat a year cause he does look a little older or maybe that's the sexy five o'clock shadow talking, and he's kinda contradictory because he's hot as hell and he's got the bad boy biker vibe down pat, but at the same time his family have a reputation as gypsy types so some of the popular people scorn him as low class trash which, what? but he also tries to be something of a loner so he kinda avoids the A-crowd anyway so maybe Stiles has a chance with him? Oh, right, the gay awakening bit, yeah Stiles is apparently gay or bi or something because he's definitely got it bad for Derek Hale, so that's a thing he's gonna have to deal with.
And then a stroke of luck, when Stiles and Scott run into Derek in the preserve, and he's actually kinda quietly nice under the bad boy look, so befriending him is easy maybe a chance at no shut up brain so the three of them can keep each other company and Stiles can even do his mom proud by helping embrace (heh) a new member of the community, and his family is actually pretty nice too, and close-knit, and pretty big with two sisters and parents and aunt and uncle and little cousin all under one roof, and is Stiles imagining things or are they all slightly afraid of something, like illegal aliens who think ICE is ready to come for them or something?
So yeah, Stiles' life is looking pretty good...
Until something big pounces on and bites Scott in the preserve and Derek tries to defend them, which is kinda nice to see his man his friend being badass and trying to protect him them like that, but what's going on with the fangs and the claws and why the hell are there sparks of lightning coming from Stiles' fingertips? So yeah, "werewolves are real and your new boyfr friend is one and your best friend was just bitten by one" is already a hell of a shock. Running home with a rabid werewolf chasing them and his freaking mom stepping out onto the porch and summoning a small army of freaking skeletons out of the flower boxes and front lawn to fend off that rabid werewolf and looking like a total badass, all calm and composed, while she did it was plenty more than just a cherry on top of this weirdness overload.
So yeah, his best friend is now doomed to turn into a werewolf, and it turns out Stiles' mom comes from a long line of magic wielders, and that uncle-type guy who visits a couple times a year isn't just a family friend but is also an ancient being from another world who came here with his family's ancestors a few centuries ago, and now that Stiles' power is awakening (or more like now that they actually know he inherited it, and yeah he'll agree that if he'd been told he could have magic and then it turned out he never did that would have sucked royally so he can understand why they didn't warn him) anyway now that he's a wizard (heh) he needs to be trained in how to use it so he doesn't accidentally electrocute anyone or set Mr Harris on fire next time he's a dick in Chemistry.
Okay, so now he's got magic to learn to use, and Scott has werewolf lessons to deal with, and there's still the looming threat of the crazy werewolf who bit Scott and apparently chased the Hale family here, and now there's a new girl too and Scott's fallen head over heels for her, and wait Derek what do you mean that she's the daughter of a monster hunter family so her parents probably want to kill all three of us?
Okay, so maybe the struggle to survive senior year is a bit more literal than Stiles wanted.

Never let her down.
Warnings: 1 Pervert, angry Allison, and non-canon plotline!!
A/n: This one's poorly written, I was lovesick for Allison and needed it out as soon as possible.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
God, this wasn't how this was supposed to happen. When you friended Allison Argent the last thing you expected was for you to find yourself on your knees for her, and you definitely didn't expect to be envious of Scott McCall.
And that's why you were sat in her car as she called Scott over and over again, so much for movie night huh?
"Scott c'mon pick up, pick up!" She groaned slamming her head against the steering wheel while you watched her, un-phased. "Don't give me that look.. Im desperate." She looked at you, seemingly tired of not being able to get a hold of him, and tired of your un-sympathetic look.
"Desperate for what? Him to come over, hook up with you, leave and never call again because he's out with his buddies? Or for him to come over, try to call you 10 times, and you decide to give up on him for a month. It never works Allison, can't you see that?"
You were left in the dark on the whole werewolf thing, you far from knew the troubles the two got through, and all you saw was a toxic high school couple. Worse of all you were in love with one of them.
"It's complicated Y/n.." She sighed, about to continue when her phone went of, "Finally!" She picked up, Scott saying something that freaked her out, but you didn't pay much mind.
You hated Scott, not that he did anything wrong. Allison loved him, and you loved her, more than anyone could ever love anyone. It wasn't fair to you.
Without a word to you Allison started driving, seemingly to where ever Scott was. You didn't say anything, this happened often, though usually she'd take you home first. But she didn't this time.
When you pulled up to a lot in the forest you felt yourself grow even more confused, "I do not want to watch you have sex, Argent." You trailed off, as she opened her door, concerned.
You got out as well, shutting your door, and immediately growing even more confused as you saw Scott, Isaac, Stiles, Derek, Boyd, and a girl you'd never met. "What the hell.." You mumbled to yourself.
"Scott what the hell, you're perfectly fine." She yelled at him, of course.. he must've told her he was in danger. "Listen Allison, I just needed you to get here quick."
"Well that means Y/n has to be here-" she reached out her hand, offering it, she was trying to make Scott jealous, and you were going to comply. You took her hand looking around the woods, confused as to why they were even here.
"That's.. fine." Scott looked at your hands before sighing, and continuing. "We need a favor, Cora hates everyone, and Lydia said no-" You looked at him raising a brow, as Allison tilted her head. "What favor do you need, Scott."
Scott explained a situation where they needed information from some perv in a club nearby, they needed a decoy to get him to spill and Allison was there final option. "I'll do it." You mustered up, getting many confused looks
"Y/n why-" You cut Allison off, "So you don't have to, alright?" You gave a glare to the group of boys in front of you, before letting go of Allison's hand and climbing back into her car.
"Y/n why did you do that? We could've both said no and just watched a movie-" Allison sighed as she started the car, preparing to follow Scott. "You would've said yes Allison, you always say yes to Scott. There was no movie night, I just want to get this over with without a lecture."
That left her quiet, neither of you talking until you got there. Lucky for you, you'd already dressed up a little bit, attempting to gather Allison's attention, which didn't work obviously.
You climbed out of the car, and sighed, as Scott gave you a run-down. "Ask about a his job, it's discrete but itll also open a lot of doors, and ask about drugs, see if he has any-" You nodded, "Got it. He that old guy in there?" You pointed, and Scott nodded wishing you good luck.
You made your way over to the older man, sitting besides him, as you ordered a strong drink, knowing this would gather his attention. "Make that two darling." He flirted with the bartender, before turning to you, "You're hardcore aren't ya' girly?"
"Guess you could say that. My jobs made for a girl who likes it rough." You bit your lip, though it disgusted you to do this, you just had to imagine Allison. You were protecting her.
"Rough aye..? You don't say.. you'd take a liking to my job, sweetheart." He used a finger to twirl a piece of your hair, "You're looking nice tonight, doll."
"What kinds job you say you were working, hun. A job for a girl who likes it rough?" You raised a brow as you're drink came in. You picked up the shot and swallowed it down in one go. "Drugs and money sweetheart, lots of bargaining for a lil girl like yourself."
"Drugs..? You got any on sale now big guy?" You looked at him, with a drunken smile, forcing yourself to look more drunk than you were. "What're you willing to pay."
"What're you willing to sell for?" You wrapped your arms around his neck, god this was gross to you. He was older than your dad. It only got worse when his hands moved onto your waist.
You swallowed his drink down, trying to make this less disgusting for you, but your savior called.
"Get your hands off her!" Allison grimaced as she pulled you away from the guy, pulling you behind her, "She's underaged you Prick." The man gulped, putting his hands up, "Look whatever you want just dont-"
Allison's face grew even darker, "The plans. Now." The man jumped, "This was a set-up!-" He looked frustrated, but it was genuinely impressive how red he turned.
"Yeah well, you put your hands on an underaged girl and I want those plans. A deal is a deal, take it or leave it. I will get those plans." The man fumbled and threw her the plans nervously. "Good boy." She grimaced
Allison wrapped her hand in yours and pulled you outside with her. Scott followed the two of you trying to reason, which only made Allison even more angry.
"There's your stupid plans, Scott! Don't even try to explain this to me-" She threw the plans at him, "Enough is enough, you dragged Y/n into this and scared the shit out of me for what? An old man to give you plans you could've threatened him for?"
She rolled her eyes and pulled you to her car, getting a now tipsy you into the car before getting in herself, and taking the two of you home.
"What were you thinking Y/n, if you drank any more you would've been drunk. He would've taken advantage of you." She lectured, glancing between you and the road. "I had if Aliss. I would've been fine. Why'd you even step in."
She looked at the steering wheel, you struck a nerve there somehow. She sighed, and pulled the car over, into a little wooded pull off area for privacy, "You want the truth?" You nodded, "Promise not to let this get weird?"
You held out your pinky offering a pinky promise, which she took. "It doesn't mean anything.. I think. But I got jealous. I kinda just wished that was us instead of you and some old perv.."
You sat up, "Jealous? God Allison I'm jealous everytime I see you and Scott." You grumbled, the little bit of liquid luck in your system kept your brain from shutting her out.
"Of me and Scott..? Y/n do you-" She looked at you her eyes widening. "Duh! Aliss I follow you no matter how stupid it is, I flirted with that old guy because I was scared to see my own reaction if you did it! I hate Scott because he has you and I don't. Allison I have loved you since the day I first laid eyes on you. That's why I dress up, and that's the reason I'm still sitting here everytime you ditch me. You've got me wrapped around your finger and you don't even know it."
She stared at you, in awe, as she bit her lip. She didn't want to admit to herself that she loved you, but she knew she fell just as hard as you, she just denied it.
"I'll break it off with Scott later.." She whispered, before leaning over the center console and pressing her lips to yours. They were like puzzle pieces, and you wished you could stay together forever.
Your hands found her cheeks, and hers found your sides, pop music playing in the background. It wasn't supposed to happen like this, but you wouldn't change it for the world.
"Alli.." You whispered, pulling away as you pressed your foreheads together. "That was.. awesome."
"W.. We should get back.. to yours tonight." It instantly clicked in your head that she wanted more, your house being the safe haven with no parents. "Y-yeah.. okay."
The ride back was silent, your hands having made their way together on the center console as music played in the background. God this was the longest ride home ever.
But as soon as the door was shut, and the world couldn't see the two of you, your dreams came true.
Allison pulled you to the couch, pushing you down, "This okay?" You pulled her on top of you, pulling her legs onto either side of you. She smiled and grabbed your face pressing your lips together once more.
God you never wanted to be a cheater. But this was all you could've wanted.
And when you woke up in between your beds sheets, Allisons face pressed into you neck, her arms wrapped around you, suddenly all the guilt slipped away.
You knew you'd never let her down. Not like he did, not like her mom would, not like the world had. You would protect her.

"What the hell is a Stiles?"

Stiles' fingers shook as she sent the text - possibly the last words she would ever communicate to anyone. Stiles wanted to believe it was a good plan, that it would work, but that lingering doubt in the back of her head made her dizzy with nausea. This might be it.
Well, at least it's not something stupid like tripping down the stairs, because really, that was a bullshit way to go.
The lightning marks were fading, and it was waking up, and she could hear them coming. Well, shit. It was now or never.

Love Hard
WandaxReader, LoveHardAU, it’s christmas and fake dating, what more could you want
Summary: You travel across the country only to get catfished by Wanda Maximoff
Y/N - Love Actually? Worst. Christmas. Movie. EVER.
Wanda - Hey Y/N. So how do you REALLY feel about my favorite Christmas movie?
That’s how this all started. You swiped right on Wanda thinking she was attractive. Nothing much to it then that. She lives in New York. You didn’t actually think anything would come out of this but then you two started texting and you feel like you finally clicked with someone.
She almost felt too good to be true. You told your friend Daisy about her and she also couldn’t believe it. She thought you might be getting catfished but then Wanda sent a photo of herself holding a sign with your name on it after Daisy called her and it was enough to satisfy Daisy.
Soon messaging turned into calls that could last hours. You talked about everything and nothing and it was amazing.
You hadn’t had luck with love. All the people you’ve met through the app made horrific dates but great stories much to your boss’ satisfaction.
You have your own column in which you write about these dates gone wrong. Unsurprisingly, people love to read about your misfortunes.
Because you think this is some chance you just can’t miss, you convince yourself with a push from Daisy that flying to New York to surprise Wanda wasn’t so crazy.
The journey to Wanda’s town is frustrating. Your luggage didn’t make it with you. There is only one person working as a driver for both Uber and Lift. Oddly enough, Scott, the driver, says he knows Wanda. Small town, you guess. He offers you a snack in the car but when you see he’s offering you kiwi, you reject him because you are allergic.
He drops you off at the Maximoff residence. There is an awkward introduction to Wanda’s parents. They seem overly excited to meet you. They seem surprised to hear about you. Wanda’s mom calls for her to come into the living room.
You are anxious and excited to meet Wanda in person. You wonder if she’ll be just as excited to see you. Your heart beats feel as loud as the steps you hear her take as she approaches. And then suddenly you wish you hadn’t done this.
You have totally been catfished.
Your Wanda, the Wanda from the pictures, has short red hair and sharp features and wears tight jeans and leather jackets. This Wanda has long brown hair and softer features and she’s definitely taller. Her winter clothes can’t hide the height difference. Her green eyes are not the same shade you’ve been dreaming about. The only thing in common this Wanda has is an affinity for jewelry, real Wanda sporting rings on her fingers and virtual Wanda has countless earrings.
Wanda freaks out when she sees you standing in her living room with her parents. She races after you when you rush out the door.
“Y/N! Y/N, wait! I can explain!” she says hurriedly.
You turn around. It’s so cold outside, you can see the wisps of your warm breath in the winter air as you reply. “I don’t understand. We talked. I made sure– the… the photo! It had my name on it. You wrote ‘Bye, Y/N!’”
“I’m pretty good at photoshop,” Wanda replies awkwardly.
“Oh my god!” You look for the closest thing to throw at her in her front yard. You grab the doll from the nativity scene.
“Okay, let’s take a deep breath,” Wanda suggests. She tries to calm you down when she sees  you grab the doll from the nativity scene. “Not the baby Jesus. Don’t. No, no, no, no.”
You ignore her and begin to hit her arm with baby Jesus. “What kind of psychopath creates a fake profile and then starts a fake relationship online?!”
“What kind of psycho flies across the country and shows up on someone’s front lawn?” Wanda counters.
“You said and I quote ‘I wish you were here with me for Christmas’!” you defend.
“That’s just something people say like, ‘your baby’s so cute’ or ‘my diet starts tomorrow’.” You start walking away, not believing the words coming out of Wanda’s mouth. She keeps talking. “Everybody knows that. Well, apparently not everybody.”
You do a slow 180, giving her a deathly glare. “Are you implying this is my fault?”
“Nobody is blaming anybody, okay? Maybe, maybe you’ve never dated a European woman before and you’re in shock!”
“Yes, I have. She was born in Slovakia and she was amazing in bed,” you disclose. “How could you lie to me? I really liked you.”
Wanda apologizes, “I’m sorry. I…I never meant for it to go this far. Okay? Can we go back inside and–”
“No, I’m not going inside! I’m not going anywhere with you. I never want to see you again. Okay?” You storm off walking down the sidewalk with baby Jesus still in your hand.
Wanda yells after you, “You don’t know where you’re going!”
You answer back, “baby Jesus will take the wheel.”
You end up at a bar. You take a few shots to try and forget this whole ordeal when you hear a noisy group come in. You look over and your eyes nearly fall out of their sockets when you see your Wanda (virtual Wanda) amongst the group. You rush into the restroom to call Daisy and tell her everything that happened.
Daisy says you owe it to yourself to approach this Wanda and see where it goes. You tell her you don’t want to further embarrass yourself, to which she replies that your dignity is long gone and that if this goes awry you would have the greatest story on your column yet.
You are convinced but you need a little more liquid courage before you make your acquaintance. You take another shot, not looking at how the bartender is making it. You throw it back before you go take a turn at the karaoke machine.
You start off dramatically, back to the crowd. This Wanda gets excited at hearing a song she likes being sung. She eyes your backside and checks you out. Then you turn around and surprise her. You think you are doing great, not realizing this Wanda is having a hard time looking you directly in the eye.
Real Wanda walks into the bar, figuring you’d be in here if the baby Jesus in the snow outside the door is any indication of your whereabouts. She sees what’s wrong before you do. You put on a whole show until halfway through the song you catch your reflection and see your face is swollen.
You scream and run out of the bar. Real Wanda runs after you while fake (virtual) Wanda cheers for your performance inside.
“There must have been kiwi in those shots,” you croak. You’re on your knees on the sidewalk. Wanda hands you your bag and you rifle through it. “Where is it? Where is it?”
“Wha– Where’s what?” Wanda asks, trying to help you.
You claw at your throat that’s closing. You manage to say, “My epipen,” before face planting in the snow.
“Oh, shit!” Wanda searches your bag frantically.
You wake up lying on a cold table.
“Thank god, you’re not dead,” Wanda sighs.
You groan, “Where am I?”
“A hospital,” Wanda answers. You look around and see x-rays of a cat. You narrow your eyes at Wanda.
“You took me to a vet?”
“The human hospital is thirty minutes away and I didn’t want to risk it. But relax, Dr. Strange is the best in town,” Wanda assures you.
“Hello,” Dr. Strange, you assume, walks through the door. “I’m Dr. Strange. Wow! You look a lot, uh, a lot better. Huh Right? Good thing Wanda brought you in when she did, huh? ‘Cause you were like … Whoo!”
Dr. Strange motions how puffy your face was. “You’re gonna be fine. Stay as long as you like. Couple biscuits under the tree for you if you like.”
You and Wanda thank the doctor and he leaves you two alone.
“So, you met the real Natasha tonight, huh? Did you really think sexy karaoke was going to work?” Wanda teases. “This is not LA and Natasha is not an LA girl. Hot people hit on her here all the time and they’re all the same. If you want her to notice you, do something different.”
“Oh, she noticed me tonight,” you say sarcastically as you rub your face.
“Honestly, your face was so swollen you looked more like Chucky. I doubt she’ll recognize you.”
“I don’t know anything about this girl,” you say.
“But I do.” Wanda discloses, “Not only were Natasha and I best friends until 8th grade, I have been pretending to be her for the last two weeks.”
“So what?” You wish she’d get to the point.
“So,I know Natasha better than she knows herself. I can help you get him.”
“Why would you do that?” you ask, wondering what Wanda’s angle is.
“Well maybe if I’m helping you with something, maybe you can do something for me in return,” she proposes.
You immediately take it the wrong way. “I am not having sex with you.”
“No, that’s not what I’m saying at all.” Wanda adds hesitantly, “I was thinking maybe you can, um, pretend to be my girlfriend until Christmas.”
“Um, why?”
“Did you see how my parents looked at me tonight when they thought you were my girlfriend? Being seen with you? That would be a huge win. I mean, you know, look at you.” She tries negotiating, “All I’m asking for is a week. Then we’ll stage a breakup and you’ll be free from me forever.”
You get a text from your boss saying he wants pages by the end of this week. You’re in a dilemma. This could make for a good story if you stick around. Wanda looks at you with her big eyes, hands clasped tight pleading with you.
“You’re gonna set me up with Natasha.”
“Yes! You guys will be in love by New Year’s. Have a baby by next Thanksgiving,” Wanda affirms. “By the way do you have insurance? They were asking me that.”
Wanda takes you back to her house and leads you down to the basement where she stays.
“This is where the magic happens,” she jokes. “That’s just something people say. Not a lot of magic has happened at all.”
She shows you around. It’s kind of a mess. She says that it’s temporary because her apartment is under renovation. Wanda says goodnight, getting ready to go to sleep on her bed.
“Just make yourself comfortable,” she says.
You shake your head immediately. “No, you on the floor now.”
“This is the only Tempur-Pedic in the house and I have a bad back,” Wanda explains, refusing to give up the bed.
“I don’t care if this bed is the only thing keeping you from complete paralysis. We’re not sharing,” you state.
“What if we put pillows in the middle?” Wanda suggests.
“No.”
“Okay. What if we do like head to toe?”
“Mm. It’s always gonna be no. So, yeah.”
Wanda resigns, rolling off the bed dramatically.
“We should probably address the catfish in the room. You do realize that at some point, you were going to have to meet me,” you start.
“I didn’t mean to catfish you. It just kind of happened.”
“‘It kind of happened?’” You deadpan.
“I had my profile up for a year and guess how many matches I got.” You shrug and she answers for you. “Three. And one of them was a guy who calls himself Vision. Yeah, Vision. So just as an experiment I thought I could use a picture of a standard attractive woman and see what would happen. I got 85 matches in five minutes. So apparently there are plenty of people out there, they just didn’t want to date me.”
“Are you seriously looking for sympathy right now? There are no words for what you did,” you reply.
“Well, I would –”
“No words!” you repeat. “But a deal’s a deal so let’s just move on.”
In the morning, you walk into the kitchen in the pajamas Wanda’s grandma left you to wear to find Wanda having breakfast with her parents and grandma. Her mom, Iryna, gets up from the table to usher you in and have you join them for breakfast.
There are so many options on the table to pick from. Wanda’s father, Oleg, offers you some bacon. At the same time you and Wanda inform him that you are a vegetarian. You thank him anyway.
Her grandma inquires how you two met and Wanda tells her you met on an app.
“So Y/N, what was it about Wanda that first caught your eye?” Her grandma asks.
“Gee, I mean, I don’t even know where to start.” You look at Wanda. “There were just so many unbelievable things in her profile. Her photos. I took one look at that hair, her physique, that jawline! I thought to myself, ‘It’s too good to be true.’”
Wanda knows what you are doing, choosing your words carefully. Her mom doesn’t catch on.
“Oh, no it’s true. She’s gotten a lot more fit in the last couple of years.” Iryna grabs Wanda’s cheek.
“But it wasn’t just the photos that ensnared me. Her bio. She’s passionate about life, loves all things outdoors,” you add.
“Oh, hey! She mentioned the store,” her father interjects, pointing at his work shirt that sure enough says “All Things Outdoors”. Clever, clever Wanda. Oleg tells you that his father started the store. He runs it now and Wanda works there. Wanda tries to change the topic but you insist on it, laughing when Oleg says the only traveling Wanda does is her run to get lunch at a nearby restaurant.
You grip Wanda’s shoulder. To everyone else it looks affectionate but the way it hurts Wanda, she knows better. Wanda and you scurry off soon after. She takes you to the store she works at.
You wander around the store as she tells you what you need to know about Natasha. According to Wanda, Nat likes outdoorsy, adventurous people. Wanda looks for some clothes, saying you need to look relaxed, like you don’t care. She hands you clothes to put on because Natasha is going to arrive any minute.
She hands you a book as well. You cringe, reading the title.
“Walden? Are you kidding me? Thoreau was an asshole.”
“Pretend you like it because that’s Nat’s favorite book,” Wanda demands. “Also, when you are talking to her, throw in some rock climbing lingo. She loves that stuff.”
You wait for Nat to arrive and pretend to read Walden. You hate the fact you have this book in your hand. She greets Oleg and Wanda. Oleg goes to get something Nat ordered. Wanda leads Nat to you and introduces you as her cousin.
You and Wanda do not look alike in any capacity and Wanda clarifies that you are related through her stepmom Iryna. Nat notices you holding her favorite book. She’s intrigued and quotes a line from the book.
You start talking about climbing. You’re totally bulshitting your way through the conversation, throwing in words you read on your quick search on the internet when trying to learn about rock climbing a few minutes ago.
“You climb?” Nat asks, surprised.
“Me?” you scoff. “Do I climb? I’ll climb anything that moves.”
You laugh the awkwardness off. You’re doing terribly but you continue anyway. “I climb ladders, um, houses, um, trees, ladders…mostly ladders.”
Nat invites you and Wanda climbing for tomorrow at some place called Rock Ventures. Wanda accepts the invite for you two. Nat leaves smiling.
You freak out. You don’t know how to climb. Wanda assures you she can teach you. There is a wall at the store. That does not go well. You are not three feet off the ground before you start to panic.
Wanda helps you down and then tries to show you that the way to conquer the wall is to know the key is to take it one step at a time.
You ask Wanda what Natasha was like in high school. Natasha was class president, star of the soccer team, nominated prom queen. You ask her why she and Natasha stopped being friends. Wanda explains that Natasha got popular and she didn’t so they grew apart.
You disclose that you were a late bloomer as well, but she finds it hard to believe. You start climbing the wall again and not ten seconds later, you’re screaming again when you are too far from the ground for your comfort.
At Wanda’s house you find out she has a secret candle making hobby. She confides in you and lets you in on her plan of making scents for men because that has so much potential since most candles are catered for women.
You wonder why she hasn’t started selling them. Wanda’s excuse is that businesses cost money.
“Why don’t you ask your dad for a loan?” This didn’t seem like such a big deal to you.
“You mean the old Sokovian man upstairs? He’s only interested in sporty, manly things. Plus, he and my brother would just tease me about it.” She puts her candle making equipment away.
“You have a brother?”
“Prodigal son has returned!” you both hear someone shout upstairs. “Christmas may now commence!”
“Speak of the devil,” Wanda groans, mentally preparing to see her twin.
“Pietro’s here! Now it’s Christmas!” Oleg cheers rushing down from the second floor to the living room where Pietro and his wife Monica await.
“Is that my baby?” Iryna greets Pietro, hugging him tight.
“Mom,” Pietro smiles, handing her some flowers. “Look what I brought you.”
Everyone greets Pietro and Monica cheerfully as you and Wanda enter the room, lingering in the background, waiting for him to see you. Wanda has to clear her throat for him to notice.
“Hey, Wands! What’s going on, little sister?” he greets Wanda.
“I thought you were twins?” you ask.
“I’m 12 minutes older,” he replies with a wink. “And who do we have here?”
“Oh, this is Y/N,” Wanda says proudly, but her smile dies when Pietro assumes you are their grandma’s nurse and then guesses you are in their mom’s book club. Iryna finally interrupts when Pietro figures this is an intervention.
“No, honey. Y/N is your sister’s girlfriend,” Iryna clarifies. Pietro laughs until he sees no one else laughing. You do not find this amusing.
“Oh, you’re serious. Really?”
“Really,” you answer.
Pietro further embarrasses Wanda by saying he and Monica were talking about this on the way in the car, wondering how Wanda was still single. “Granted she still lives at home and the eyeliner isn’t doing her any favors. This is a Christmas miracle.”
Wow, this guy is an ass. Pietro goes on to thank you like you’re taking one for the team by dating his sister. He messes up your name too! The audacity. Two can play that game, you think.
“You know what? The pleasure’s all mine, Peter.” You give him the same fake smile in return, throwing an arm around Wanda, pulling her close.
Everyone starts decorating the Christmas tree. Of course it doesn’t go without Pietro bragging about how well life is going for him and he making comments to embarrass his sister. He even goes to bring out the ornament that contains a picture of a young Wanda in which she’s got braces and glasses and chubby cheeks.
She’s flushing red, obviously upset at everyone cooing at the photo. You try to make her feel better by saying you were grateful for your awkward teenage years because it taught you empathy and how to not be a jerk - a total dig at Pietro that makes Wanda smirk and nudge you playfully. Pietro has to ruin it by calling you a ‘former chubster’.
It’s time to place the star on top of the tree. Pietro snatches it up and is ready to place it, but Wanda suggests you do it because it’s your first year with them and you were their guest. Pietro pouts when their parents agree. He hands over the star but not without playing a discreet tug of war with you.
You step on the ladder, Wanda’s hands on your hips to secure you, and you place the star on top. You call it a win in this battle you’ve got going on with Pietro.
“It’s crooked,” Pietro complains to Monica.
“You’re brother really likes being the center of attention, huh?” You’re looking at the picture frames in the hall. You are waiting for Wanda to head out to go climbing. In all the photos Pietro is in the center with a bright smile and Wanda is always a little out of the shot.
“Likes to be? Has to be,” Wanda mumbles, finishing up tying her shoes.
“Next time he tries to steal the spotlight, steal it back,” you tell her. Wanda tries to shrug it off but you repeat, showing you meant it. “I’m serious. Steal it back.”
“Alright. Come on. We don’t want to be late. Natasha is very punctual,” Wanda warns, fixing her scarf as you head to the front door.
“So is the wall we’re climbing like the one at the store?” you ask.
“Yeah, pretty much,” Wanda replies.
Lie. Looking at the wall, you’re sure you are going to faint. Why is it so damn high?
“Y/N, are you coming or what?” Nat says from midway of the wall.
“Yeah, coming right up,” you chuckle nervously, before turning to Wanda. “You didn’t tell me she was Tom Cruise. I can’t do this. Get this off me.”
You try taking the harness off but Wanda’s hands block you from doing so. Both of you start smacking each other’s hands.
“Stop. Stop. You got this, okay? Here, put these in.” She hands you some earphones.
“What? Why?” You do as she says anyway.
“It’ll help you relax. And it’s your favorite song,” she explains. You don’t believe her until the song actually begins to play and you feel yourself feeling better. “Remember, one move at a time.”
You move to the wall. You hesitate to make the first move, looking back at Wanda who gives you a thumbs up in support. You take a deep breath and begin to climb.
You can’t believe you actually make it to the top. You cheer when you climb on top of the wall. “I can’t believe you guys said this was hard…oh.”
You gasp looking down. Nat tells you to come down. You turn your back on them in order not to look down. With a shaky voice you say, “Um, actually, I think I’m gonna stay up here and enjoy the view for a little while.”
You fall to the floor of where you are. Wanda hears the thud and gets into action, putting a harness on and climbing the wall faster than anyone.
Nat has no idea what’s going on and just cheers Wanda on. When Wanda makes it to the top, she sees you lying down shaking.
She rushes over to you, falling on her knees and tries to soothe you. “Hey, what are you doing? The hard part is over. Just rappel down.”
“Uh-uh.” There is no freaking way you are ever moving.
“You got through the tough part. It’s nothing.”
“Oh God, this is how I die. I’m gonna die. This is it. This is it for me,” you whimper.
Wanda comes up with an idea quickly. “Okay. Okay. I think I actually know a trick to get you down, but you gotta trust me.”
“Trust the girl that catfished me?” You scoffed.
“No, trust the girl who got you up here in the first place,” she answers. “Look, I know you’re scared but you’ve got this. And I’ve got you. Okay? I promise.”
You choose to trust Wanda. She helps you stand up and has you walk backwards towards the edge of the wall, keeping you distracted with her comforting words and having you keep your eyes on hers.
She asks you to close your eyes and take a deep breath when you reach the edge. And then she pushes you, literally.
You scream on the way down. You land safely and Nat looks really impressed thinking you just jumped down yourself. You try to play it off like it’s nothing.
She asks to hang out tomorrow at 9. Wanda gives you a thumbs up from the top of the wall.
At night, you go caroling with Wanda’s family. You make it to the door of a resident home. When Pietro puts on a performance, he puts on a performance.
Someone requests “Baby It’s Cold Outside”. Pietro is going to sing with Monica but Wanda decides to take your advice of taking the spotlight back and volunteers you and her to sing the duet.
You don’t want to sing this song. The lyrics make you uncomfortable. Wanda tells you to sing and that she’ll change the lyrics so it doesn’t sound so bad.
She does an excellent job. You have a great time singing with her and at the end of the song, everyone is cheering for you two.
Pietro can’t stand not having the attention and announces with Monica that they’re expecting a baby, once again stealing the spotlight. Everyone is congratulating them.
Wanda gets the bright idea of getting down on one knee, calling everyone’s attention. You know exactly what she’s doing and it’s a little too far.
You ask her to get up through gritted teeth. She makes a speech about how you haven’t known each other long but when you know, you know. You are breaking a sweat here.
“Y/N L/N, will you marry me?”
Everyone is watching you. Can someone please get you out of this.
“She doesn’t even have a ring,” Pietro points out.
For once you find yourself agreeing with Pietro. “Yeah, you don’t have a ring.”
Grandma Maximoff comes to the rescue, taking off her own ring and giving it over to Wanda. Wanda thanks her grandma before looking back up at you, giving you puppy dog eyes.
You can’t say no and humiliate her in front of everyone. “Yes.”
The second you get to Wanda’s room, you argue. She tries to apologize. “I’m sorry. I got carried away in the moment. But if you think about it, nothing’s changed.”
“Nothing’s changed? Your grandma gave me her ring off of her finger!“ you shout.
Wanda says you just have to make it until Christmas then she can say you broke it off and went back to LA. There is no way you want to look like the asshole.
You bring up Natasha. You have a date with her tomorrow. “What if she finds out I’m engaged to my cousin?”
“She won’t. I promise you that. Okay? Everything will be fine. Just trust me.”
“Trust you? That’s literally the last thing I can do.” You start mumbling, “You wanted me to wear a hat. You’re like ‘It’s cute.’ It’s dumb! Now apparently I’m getting married!”
Upstairs, Pietro is googling you. He doesn’t trust you. Something doesn’t feel right and he is going to get to the bottom of this.
You have a nice talk with Oleg, helping him with the fireplace. He tells you about his father.
The next morning, Nat takes you on a hike that you assume is the date. Surprise surprise, she says it’s just the warm up. She takes you bobsledding, but like if bobsledding was on X Mode.
You don’t know how you are going to get through this so you call Wanda to tell you what to do. You find a blunt in your bag. You got through the experience by getting high as a kite.
You get home to Wanda making some candles. You tell her about the date and how Natasha is perfect. Wanda begs to differ. You think she’s being weird.
You start taking a whiff of her candles and guessing the scents. There is one Wanda doesn’t want you to smell, so of course you move away before she can snatch it back.
She says it smells like her grandpa because scents make memories come alive. She’s embarrassed when she says that but you tell her it’s very sweet.
Iryna calls you and Wanda up to watch Love Actually with the family in the living room. You get to the part of the film where the guy admits he loves his best friend’s wife through poster boards at her front door when Iryna drops a bomb on you and Wanda.
You and she will be in tomorrow’s paper. An announcement of your engagement with your picture together will be printed.
That’s how you find yourself on a newspaper heist with Wanda throughout town early in the morning. You hide in the backseats of Wanda’s car after getting the last bunch of newspapers. A newspaper boy is looking for you two.
You two are giggling in the backseats, sitting slouched down so no one can see you. You open up the newspaper to your announcement. Wanda starts laughing at the photo they chose to go with.
“I mean, I look like a deer in the headlights in this photo,” you comment. Wanda denies it but you insist. “Yes, I do. It’s a pretty decent photo of you, though. Look at that.”
You show Wanda and she mumbles, “Probably the only one in existence.”
“Come on, Wanda. I know a lot of people who’d be very into you.” You aren’t lying. Wanda is cute, you can admit. You don’t know why she has trouble dating.
“Well they’re definitely not on FlirtAlert,” she sighs, talking about how little matches she would get on the app.
You are going to figure out why that is. “Do you still have your original profile photos?”
She stays quiet and you get your answer. “Oh my god. You do. Show me!”
Wanda tries to convince you she deleted it but you know she’s lying. “Please. I know you didn’t. I know you. I know you. Show me the photos!”
You start smacking her arm to annoy her into showing you. It works. She pulls up the app and you snatch the phone from her hands and scroll through her original photos. You see the problem right away.
“No wonder you’re not getting any matches. Why are you holding a knife in this one?”
“To show that I like cooking. People like dating those that can cook,” she explains, like it’s the most obvious thing.
“It would help if you were in the kitchen and not in your bedroom. This is terrifying.” You go to the next photo. It’s Wanda in the yard, clothes dirty with mud and holding a shovel. “Okay, you straight up look like you murdered somebody in this one.”
“That’s me gardening!” She defends herself.
“You need to hold a plant or something cause this looks like incriminating evidence.” You laugh and though Wanda knows it’s at her, she smiles rolling her eyes at you. “No wonder you only got three matches. You were hiding your strengths.”
“What strengths are those?”
You turn to look her in the eye. Clearing your throat you start, “For one, you have very nice eyes. You gotta show those puppies off. All these photos are too far away to see them. And your teeth. You have really straight teeth. Like freakishly straight.”
“Five years of braces,” Wanda explains.
“So then smile more,” you demand. She sarcastically smiles, but it works. “There you go! There it is.”
You both giggle. You add, “But more importantly, you’re a good person, Wanda.”
“I don’t know how to show that in a photo.”
“Well, for starters, you have to believe that it’s true. And then once you do, trust me, it’ll show. Promise me that once this is all over, you’ll put up a real profile with real photos,” you ask.
“I promise.”
You smile at each other before someone knocks on the car window. “I know you’re in there! I can see the steam through the car window.”
It’s the newspaper boy! You and Wanda jump to the front seats of the car for your grand getaway, cackling as you drive off.
You get ready for your date with Natasha. You walk out in a dress that you borrowed from Wanda’s mom’s closet. Wanda’s speechless when she sees you in it. Then she finally has the words to tell you that you look great.
You mention the name of the restaurant to Wanda and she warns you that it is a steakhouse. You’ll just get a salad. Wanda says Nat likes girls who can eat meat like she does. You think you can forgo your vegetarian diet for one night.
She tells you that might be a little too far because you are compromising your beliefs. It starts with a little meat today but what would you lie about tomorrow? You take offense because the only reason you are here in this situation is because Wanda lied.
“I lied about a photo.” Wanda doesn’t think this compares to what she did.
“No. You hid behind a photo. You lied about your identity,” you point out.
“But it was still me! Every conversation we had, every text we exchanged, every laugh we shared. It was me. You liked me. And you liked me so much you flew across the country to surprise me for Christmas,” Wanda snaps back.
“You’re right. I liked you. But you were a lie. A piece of fiction.” You leave with that.
While you are on your date with Natasha, Wanda and her family are gathered around the table making gingerbread houses. Wanda’s grandma asks where you are and Wanda lies saying you are out tasting cakes for the wedding.
Pietro finds it odd that you aren’t doing that with you, given that Wanda is to marry you after all. Wanda says she’s happy with whatever you are happy with. Pietro is still wary and lies that he needs more stuff for his gingerbread house. He excuses himself, claiming to go to the store. In reality, he plans to see what you are really up to.
Pietro does go to the store, but on the way back home, he spots you dining with Natasha.
You feel uncomfortable with the deer heads hanging on the walls of the restaurant like trophies. You suppose they are because they hunt animals like it’s a game. Turns out Natasha’s family owns the restaurant and one of the heads on the walls is one she shot.
As you get to talking, you realize you and Natasha don’t have much in common. On the car ride back to Wanda’s, Natasha tells you she doesn’t celebrate Christmas. You ask her to drop you off a block away, explaining you don’t want to wake anyone up. She kisses you and it’s not what you thought it would be. It was kind of disappointing to be completely honest.
In the morning, you try to apologize to Wanda for what you said last night. She shrugs it off. Before you can say anything else, her grandma asks you two to come to the senior living home and help them with online dating.
It doesn’t go too well when they all start joking about twisting the truth to make themselves sound more attractive online. Wanda stops them and gives them a little speech on how it’s wrong to do that because you’ll only end up misleading people, disappointing them, and in the end getting hurt yourself.
Unfortunately, they don’t take her speech to heart. However, it does change things for you by giving you a different perspective. You see now that you might be hurting Wanda with all of this. She wanted someone to get to know her and the only way she saw anyone would take an interest in her is by using someone else’s photo.
She was right. Because that’s exactly what happened. You proved her right and it probably feels awful.
You and Wanda are trailing behind her grandma on the sidewalk after the whole event. You have to bring it up.
“I guess I never realized. I was so busy being mad at you that I never stopped to think about why you actually did it.”
“Look Y/N,” Wanda stops in the middle of the sidewalk. “The why doesn’t even matter anymore. It was wrong. I should have never asked you to lie in the first place. And I’m just gonna go to my family and come clean with everything.”
“Wait, what? No.” You’ve come this far and she wants to stop? “No, no, no. You can’t do that. Wanda, this isn’t all your fault. I mean besides, a deal’s a deal. We’ve made it this far. It’s only two days til Christmas. Let’s stage a breakup like we planned. Don’t worry. I’ll sell it.”
Wanda isn’t totally convinced. “I don’t know. It… it doesn’t feel right.”
You can’t believe this is happening. Wanda sees her grandma turn the wrong way. She shouts after her. “Grandma, the car is that way.”
Her grandma does not seem to be listening. Wanda chases after her and you follow Wanda. “Grandma, where are you going?”
You and Wanda follow her into a building that has all the lights off. Suddenly they turn on and people yell “surprise”.
They’ve thrown you an engagement party. What’s worse is they’ve chosen Natasha’s family’s restaurant as the venue and to top it off Nat is there.
Pietro is happy to see your panicked face. He might be the worst but he wasn’t about to let you play his little sister.
Nat finds you and drags you to meet her parents. People are congratulating you and you lie to Nat saying that you were the millionth customer at a store when she asks why.
Then you find your boss is here too. Great. Everything is great.
Everyone’s attention is called by Oleg. He’s about to give a speech, obviously to congratulate you and Wanda and welcome you into the family, but you interrupt before he gets too far.
There is no way out of this. It is time to face the music. You fess up to everything. You watch as everyone looks at you disappointedly. You feel especially bad for Wanda, the pitying looks they send her.
Pietro in contrast nearly cheers at being right about you, but he does feel bad for his sister. Nat is actually the first to storm off, making a good point in saying that you were a hypocrite for getting mad at Wanda for lying to you by pretending to be someone else and then going and doing the same to Natasha.
You apologize and leave. You grab your stuff from the Maximoff’s place, leaving a note for Wanda and her grandma’s ring on the kitchen table.
You can’t fly home yet because you can’t get a ticket. You end up staying at the same inn as your boss who still wants a story.
Wanda enters her house and finds the note you left for her. It reads : A passion whose flame fails to be fanned eventually burns down. Don’t be afraid to be you. -Y/N
The ring lies on top of the note. You’ve gone and this was your goodbye. Wanda picks up the ring and stares at it sadly.
Her family walks into the kitchen and she tells them that you’ve left. One by one they all hug her. She returns her grandma’s ring.
Her father is the last to hug her. She asks to talk to him for a minute. In the spirit of being honest, she finally tells him she wishes to make candles and not work at the store with him anymore.
“Thank god! You are a terrible salesman,” her dad laughs in relief.
He sniffs one of the candles you left of Wanda’s on the table and Oleg immediately recognizes the scent. He’s very impressed with it. Wanda lets out a sigh of relief and happiness.
You, on the other hand, drive yourself crazy in your room at the inn. You form a single sentence. You stare at a blank document in your laptop for hours.
You finally breakthrough in the morning and once your hands are on those keys, there is no stopping you. You get to the end and realize that there is no good way to end this. You take a break and open FlirtAlert, the app that started it all.
You see Wanda came through with her promise and posted good, real, not murder-y photos of herself. There are those eyes you like so much.
Wait—
You spring up from the bed. You have an idea of an ending for you. You just hope it works.
Wanda goes to get the door when she hears the doorbell ring. You are standing in the front yard with poster boards in your hand. You are pulling the move from Love Actually, her favorite movie.
You apologize to Wanda for not seeing what has been in front of you all along. Her family comes outside halfway through to witness this. You ask for a second chance, holding up a marker for her to write her answer on the board.
She walks up and you are nervous. This can go two ways but you really truly hope it goes the way you want it to.
It does and everyone is cheering when they read her answer. You and Wanda have a stupid grin on your faces.
“So what do we do now?” she asks.
Her grandma shouts, “Kiss her, you idiot!”
You laugh and Wanda pulls you into a kiss. This kiss- this kiss felt right. It’s not long before your smile keeps you from kissing her properly.
You’ve finally found a great ending to your story.

If you haven’t watched this movie, you are missing out. It is the right kind of corny and I love it so much.

Aiden and Scott: you're here
This one is a little sad. Made me cry a little remembering why I wrote this.
I wrote it when I started dating a guy my freshmen yr in college. The first guy I'd like since the passing of my friend who I loved but never expressed.
But now I've healed from his death and that guy and I were toxic as hell, which I've healed from too.
Everything is on a good note now.
~
Tumblr media
It took you months to be able to go back to school after Aiden died. When Ethan left Beacon Hills, he was alone and sad. His twin brother just died and he is leaving his friends and his boyfriend, Danny. You couldn't leave. He asked you to leave with him. But you couldn't. You had to stay in Beacon Hills. Graduate and leave that god forsaken town for good. You want to leave on a good note not a terrible one like Aidens death.
You were at your locker switching textbooks when you heard someone's footsteps behind you. You listened to the whispers around you and realized it was Scott. You turned around and saw him looking at you with sad eyes.
"I'm surprised you even came to school today." He stated, shoving his hand into his front pockets.
"I know. I am too. It's Aiden's and Ethan's birthday today. Have you called Ethan?" You asked taking a step closer to your alpha.
"I tried. His number has been disconnected." Scott sighed.
"I never got a chance to say this but thank you. For helping me get through this terrible time. I know you went through this with Alison. In that same week we both lost someone, while saving another. I appreciate you." You said as he engulfed you with a tight hug.
"Of course I'm going to help you. You helped fight the nogitsune. And save Stiles. You're a part of my pack now. Good luck trying to leave now, banshee #1." He said laughing, earning a laugh from you as well.
"You can get through today just like any other day. I'll meet you in the woods at 7 so we can celebrate Aiden's and Ethan's birthday." He said walking toward his class as you walked towards yours.
By the time school ended you met Stiles at his Jeep. You were at his jeep before he was which was odd. He is normally there first. You looked around trying to hear for the whispers but no such luck. When you turned back towards the school Ethan was standing there. Hands in pockets, and that stupid boyish grin plastered on his face.
"You're here?!" You asked with a smile on your face. You haven't talked nor seen him since his brother and your first love had died.
"Well are you just gonna stand there looking goofy or are you going to hug me?" He asked as you attacked him with a deathly tight hug.
"I have missed you so much. Where have you been? Scott said he called but you had disconnected your number? Why didn't you call? Or text? It's yours and your brothers birthday! You could have warned me!" You ranted on and on as well as hitting his arm every time you asked or stated something.
"Okay stop hitting me. I'm the birthday boy. I do not deserve to get slapped this many times. Unless its from Danny." He joked, earning another slap in the arm from you.
"I have been here all day and I have been trying to get you alone to talk to you but you are almost always with either Scott or Lydia. So I had to talk to Stiles and see if you were ever alone. He said during school you're never alone. And that he gives you a ride to and from school. So I thought why not talk to you there. Where you are alone." He said with a shrug.
"Why alone?" you asked curiously.
"Because I wanted to tell you 'I love you and you're so freaking amazing. You've made it through so much shit with Aiden and yet you still love him after his death.' But then I saw you and Scott. And I heard you and Scott talking." He paused. "You care about him. Don't you?" He said earning a cocked head and raised eyebrows from you.
"You love him, don't you?" He guessed.
"Yeah. But I can't do anything about it." Your voice cracked.
"Aiden would want you to be happy and if Scott makes you happy then it's okay. I know Scott loves you too. He had been there for you this entire time. And expected nothing from you. Throughout this process you both fell in love with each other. And it's okay. You can't stop living your life because your first love died. You and I both know this isn't the first heartbreak you've experienced. And it probably won't be the last. You have to let him go eventually." Ethan spoke such beautiful words and you couldn't stop the tears from falling down your face.
"I just miss him so much. I was going to tell him I loved him that night. But I couldn't. He died before I could say a word. He died in my arms. Telling me how much he loved me and he didn't let me say it to him." You whispered, not wanting to completely break, again. You've said this too many times, but every time it gets either harder or easier.
"Okay look. I'm just going to tell it to you straight. You have to stop living in the past. Live in the present. Right now, you and Scott love each other. So be together. And trust me I already told him this little speech, and he has something he wants to tell you." He said walking to stand behind you to reveal Scott behind him.
"Okay well Y/N, I know that with Aiden, you never said those three words. And we both lost our first love in our arms. It's crazy how in the process of dealing with Alison's death I fell head over heels for you. At first I denied it. I thought I couldn't love another woman in my life, the way I loved her. That was a lie. Y/N, I-" Scott was interrupted by you pulling him in for a kiss. He kissed you and the world fell away. It was slow, soft, and comforting in ways that words cannot describe.
You pulled away, foreheads leaning on each other, noses touching, eyes closed, your hands cupping his face, his holding you close to his chest.
"I love you." You said, enjoying the blissful hug.
"I love you too." He chuckled, holding onto you like his life depended on it.

Sterek Fic Recs Part 3
[You can find the first two lists here: Fluffy Sterek Recs & Sterek Fic Recs. Also here's a special fic, check it out]
First off, thank you all for a 100 followers!! As of September 7, 2021 you've made me feel really, really good about my obsession with two oblivious idiots (with sprinkles of the hale pack and other fandoms), and this is my way of thanking you ♥️
If you're on PC, you can see that there is a page dedicated solely to fic recs, which caters to other ships & fandoms too. So don't feel left out if you're looking for something other than Sterek!
Without further ado, let's get to it then!
an awful curse
Isaac is asleep in a chair. The angle of his neck makes Derek wince in sympathy.
"Isaac," Derek says.
Isaac snaps awake immediately.
"You're-"
"Where's Stiles?"
"Stiles?" Isaac asks.
Jesus. It's not like they know more than one.

Throw Away The Key
Stiles knew it was stupid to go to the hunters’ headquarters all by himself, so when he finds himself caught, he can really only blame himself.
It shouldn't surprise Stiles when the situation quickly goes from bad to worse as the hunters throw him to a feral werewolf waiting to tear him apart.
Sucks that it's Derek, though.

Whatever Happened Last Night, Why Did Glitter Have to Be Involved?
Derek rolled out of bed in search of his phone - quickly finding it in the pair of jeans that had evidently been tossed aside haphazardly on the way to the bed. Seeing the pants sparked flashes of memories - wolfsbane-laced alcohol, loud music, multicolored lights.
Peter’s new supernatural-friendly club - the pack had gone to the opening night party.
He unlocked his phone and opened the pack group chat, which Erica had affectionately named ‘Moon Sluts’.
>>Derek: What the fuck happened last night
[or: Derek wakes up with three things on his mind: he feels like he was punched by a troll, his mate is missing, and there's glitter covering his bed. Oh, and the pack group chat is mildly helpful]

Prompt #159 - “Also, my bed has glitter in it for reasons I do not recall.”

Good to Eat
So if Stiles married Derek Hale, he could become Jewish too? Perfect. It was settled. Stiles gleefully shoveled a forkful of cheesy shells into his mouth.
"Uh oh. I know that look.” Claudia shook her head.
"Don’t worry, Mom, ” Stiles said, reaching for his plastic Batman cup.
"I’ve got a plan.”
"Good luck, Derek Hale,” his mother muttered.

"So what caused my hearing and sense of smell to dull?"
Deaton's brow furrowed, all amusement vanishing from his face. "What do you mean?"
Derek snapped, letting loose all of his anger and fear at the man before him. "I mean I can't hear your heartbeat or the cars down below or the birds in the attic! I can't smell the flowers in Mrs. Everett's apartment, I can't smell the rotting burger in the fridge that Isaac left in there a month ago, I can't smell or hear anything like I normally can!" Deaton mouth was pressed into a thin line. "Can you explain that?!"
Tumblr Prompt: Derek jealous of himself.

Oblivious Misadventures, and Other Such Tales
Going to college was exciting and new, a chance for new friends and a fresh start, and the best part was, there was a supernatural fraternity on campus, meaning Scott finally had the freedom to be himself.
Then he met the resident human who came with a stalker alpha. What was the point of a supernatural fraternity if he still had to pretend to be human. And seriously, did Stiles ever fall asleep somewhere normal?

Call Me (Cliché)
When the sheriff's sister ends up in a wheelchair for the duration of summer, Stiles' dreams of three months full of pack bonding, late-night video games and bro-time with Scott come crashing down. He's temporarily relocated to Redford, a three hour drive away, and he can already tell he won't be getting many visitors.
Sure the pack will forget about him while he's gone, Stiles is determined to make the most of his summer of isolation, training his body and mind - and his magic - so he can come back with a bang, and maybe catch a certain Sourwolf's eye.
Then Derek shows up at his window one night with a flimsy excuse about needing research done. Suddenly, his summer away is looking a whole lot more interesting.

What's a Secret Identity?
Stiles sipped at a mug of coffee, absently watching the news play in the break room. Because of course a news station couldn't play anything other than its own content, even in the one part of the office that was supposed to be a safe space from work. His interview with Superman was making a rerun and Stiles glanced at Derek before commenting absently, “I’d totally let Superman fuck me.”
Derek, who had been in the middle of a swig of coffee, choked violently, “That’s not something I needed to know at nine in the morning, Stiles.”
Stiles raised an eyebrow. “What time would you prefer I tell you about all of the things I would let Superman do to my body?”

But her big brother’s unwillingness to touch anyone, like he thinks he doesn’t deserve it isn’t the only thing she notices. She also notices how Stiles doesn’t touch him.
Everyone reaches for Derek in some form or another, but Stiles- Stiles is something different altogether because he reaches for Derek but he never makes contact.
He’ll be trying to shimmy past Derek and instead of putting a hand on his arm like most of them do, he’ll reach out with a hand and stop it scant centimeters away from Derek’s skin.
Or they’ll be walking alongside each other and Stiles will hover a hand on Derek’s lower back.

The Princess Diaries
Tumblr media
I'm in the princess mood today because I found out that The Princess Diaries are in Disney+. Man, I love this movie SO MUCH!!! Have fun <3
You are the heir of a throne, and you just want to take a break from the monarchy. So, you are in Beacon Hills trying to taste the normal life you always wanted, but in secret! No one knows you are a Princess, but Scott finally finds out. Completely annoyed, you are writing in your diary about how this crap happened. Word count: 1.366 Pairings: Princess!Reader x Enemy!Derek; Princess!Reader x Platonic!Scott; Princess!Reader x Platonic!Stiles; Princess!Reader x Platonic!Erica; A/N: Penny is the way you calls your diary Contain: I think it's pretty fun Warnings: English is not my main language <3; Inappropriate language TEEN WOLF MASTERLIST
Dearest Penny,
I'm freaking out. You have no idea how hard to hide so many secrets from so many people! First of all: I need to be discreet not only because of all that supernatural crap I'd got into now. No one can't ever knows that a real princess is hiding in this city. I want just some peace taking a hiatus from the monarchy, and I'll not have this if everyone found out the truth about me. And, trust me, I'd been passing through a lot through those times.
First of all: Despite being trying to be constantly helpful to Scott and Derek's pack, they are suspicious as hell about me. Everyone in both packs knew I'm hiding something. Derek's bet I'm a hunter. Scott thinks I'm something else. Then, I got Lydia always talking things like 'I'm pretty sure I saw you somewhere else'. Stiles agrees with her because 'yeah, you sound pretty familiar'.
Second: I have Mr. Abbott on my back. He is the man responsible for my security in the USA, which means that, despite being far away from home, it seems like my bodyguards and all people from the royal court still think that I'm porcelain. It means that it has been pretty troublesome to keep them away from all the supernatural bullshit.
I was working as a History Teacher, not just because of my disguise, but I want to know what it's like to have an ordinary life. Contrary to my father's wishes, my car was old, and it sucked. My house? Small and single-story, and the entire security team had to stay in plain clothes, staying in neighboring houses.
But dear Penny, I'm not here to talk about my new and temporary commoner life. I'm here to talk about that, yeah, I was finally exposed.
Well, I was parking my damn old car in the parking lot when I saw something that got me in a bad mood instantly. Not too far away from my car, I saw Derek and Scott talking about something. Judging by Scott's face, they were arguing. I took my books and my notebook from the passenger's seat and walked to them.
"Hey, boys. It seems like you both are in such a friendly talk! What's wrong?"
Derek gives me a deadly glare.
"This is not of your business."
I opened my mouth dramatically, faking a happy surprise.
"You're so sweet. Actually, you're so sweet that sometimes I just want to punch you in the face."
Gosh, I hate him so. Fucking. Much.
He narrowed his green eyes for me, and Scott begins to talk.
"I got some pages of a bestiary, and we need a translation."
Derek looks at Scott.
"You will not give the pages to her."
"She's fluent in greek! And French, and Spanish..."
I smiled at him. Scott forgot about Norwegian. Considering I have cousins in the Norway monarchy, I must be able to talk their language.
"She's not trustworthy." Derek says, looking at me. I rolled my eyes.
"I'm not a fucking hunter, okay? If I was one, I'd already cut your head off."
"Derek" Scott looks at the alpha "She's our only chance."
Derek let out a long and angry sigh.
"Fine! But..." He stares at me. If his gaze would be capable of killing, I'd already fallen dead on the floor. "You'll do the translations at my loft, under my sight. If I found out you shared the translations with someone else, I'll rip your throat."
I blinked my eyes a few times, without any reaction. Okay, I was a little bit scary. He was scary. I faked a smile.
"My fear of you is completely bearable."
Derek gives his back for me and walks to his car. Then, Scott looks at me.
"He's right. It will be better if you do the translations at his loft."
My eyes got wider. It was outrageous!
"Come on, Scott! I never let you down. All this suspicious about me is ridiculous."
Scott was serious. He crossed his arms in front of his chest.
"So, what are you hiding?"
I felt my bones froze. Well, I couldn't simply tell Scott the truth. Yeah, I was taking a temporary break from the monarchy, but it doesn't mean that I can tell Scott whatever I want. I feared it could change things between both of us. I really like Scott, but if he tells someone? The entire city would know who I am, and I would have to come back to my country. Dammit!
"I'm not hiding anything, Scott."
"You can't lie to me, (Y/N). I can listen to your heartbeat."
I let out a long sigh. It was hard to hide things. Then, Scott looks at me. His expression brightened.
"Wait! I know what you're hiding."
My heart failed a beat, and my face gets pale when he took his cell phone out of his pocket. He writes something on it and, then, he looks at me, scared.
"Holy crap, I knew I already saw you! You're a fucking princess!"
Fuck.
"Shhhhh!!!" I gave him a deadly stare "Shut up!! Oh damn, I hate teenagers and their obsession for the royalty!"
As euphoric as he was surprised, Scott spoke lower now but not with less shock.
"What the hell are you doing here?! You're a teacher! And you drive an old car! And your clothes-"
"Watch your words, McCall! Watch your words!"
"It doesn't make any sense! Where your bodyguards?"
"They are in plain clothes around the school, which is ridiculous for me. I have a gun bearing, and I could kick Derek's ass if I want to. I don't need them, but you know, people are neurotic with my safety."
Scott was looking at me in shock.
"This is so crazy. Why are you here?"
"I'm taking a break from the monarchy. My dad wants me to marry a Duke because 'he is an appropriate man'." I faked my dad's voice, and then I rolled my eyes "We are pretty traditional, which sucks. But I don't wanna marry. I took a break from the monarchy and asked to stay here. You know, Beacon Hills is a low-profile city."
"Will you be, like, a queen one day?"
"Yeah buddy, I'm the heir of the throne. But don't worry, I'll invite you to my coronation."
Scott was still looking at me with widening eyes when Stiles and Erica approach us. Stiles arched his eyebrows when he saw Scott's face.
"...What's happening?"
I gave Scott a deadly glare as a silent threat to him to stay quiet. Scott looks at Stiles and Erica. Both of them are pretty suspicious.
"Uh..." Scott cleared his throat "Nothing."
Erica crosses her arms in front of her chest.
"You lie."
I rolled my eyes. On man, come on!
"I'll just translate the pages Scott found, but your alpha is an arse. I'll need to translate it while being watched by that shitbag. So, you will need to see my beautiful eyes more often."
"Well," Erica narrowed her eyes to me "Considering that you definitely are hiding something, this is not a bad idea."
I would reply to her, but I noticed Stiles looking at me. He was trying to recognize me. Dude, it was just a matter of time until Stiles remembers about me. I'm so fucked up! Erica stares at Stiles with arched eyebrows.
"Weirdo..." She said.
"Hey, Stiles" It was my turn to say something "Do you want to make a painting of me?"
"Man... I swear by God that I already saw you before. This is so weird!"
"Maybe it was in a porn."
Stiles looks at me, scared. Erica holds a laugh. Is he really believing this?
"Do you do porn?!"
"Hell, no Stiles! Do you think I look like a porn actress? Jeez!" Completely pissed off, I turn my back for them while Erica laughs. And I didn't stop talking "Stop watching those things, Stilinski. Go talk with some real girls."
I entered the school apparently calm. However, I was freaking out inside of me. I don't even want to think when Stiles finally finds out. Wish me luck, Penny! I'm in need.

This one is over 4600 words to the point I considered cutting it in half. But lots happens so I’ve posted it whole. Now I just need to play catch up because I had a crappy couple of weeks and now I’m only about 500 words ahead of this. I have a few days off coming up, so wish me luck :D
As always, many thanks to the amazing @janetm74 @scribbles97 @tsarinatorment @vegetacide and science officer @onereyofstarlight You guys have helped me make this what it is. I so hope you are enjoying it.
For the first time in this story, I’ve slightly gone off plan and have had to add in a chapter because of it. Here’s hoping I can keep this going. We are now at 35,000 words which is approximately halfway.
Warnings: some whump.
Thank you for all your support with this fic. I doubt I could do it without all the cheerleading and support. You guys are just amazing ::hugs you so much::
Enjoy!
-o-o-o-
Jeff Tracy was a man of action and drive. Eight years in the depths of space had eroded the edges of his impatience, but hadn’t eliminated it.
So, sitting in Callisto Base watching his family work and not having anything much to do wasn’t in the best interests of his mental health.
But what could he do?
He had set up a kind of mobile control despite not being in control of anything. John had linked him into everything and he and Lee had pretty much taken over one of the command centres of the Base.
Grae hovered the entire time.
Jeff watched the well-oiled machine that was International Rescue with no small amount of pride. He watched them track down the lifesigns, survey the site, drill extra access, deploy Thunderbird Four and-
“Gordon!”
“Guys, get out of there! Now!”
The holographic image of the lake swelled and swept his sons away.
Jeff was on his feet without thinking.
Three of the five life signs on the strategy map darted erratically, one coming to an abrupt stop against the cavern wall, while the two others travelled some distance up the main tunnel before stopping suddenly.
“Thunderbird Five!”
“Please hold.”
Jeff’s eyes widened. “John!”
Data was suddenly thrown at his terminal. His sons’ vitals sprung up and he was relieved to find them all strong. A sitrep appeared a moment later tracking where the wave had come from, probabilities of a recurrence, a site safety scan and a feed from the Dragonfly Pod.
Its lights were still on, one shining at an angle across the tunnel it had landed in, the other reflected back a glare of white and a blue as beautiful as an Earth sky in the early evening.
The first one explained why.
One of the Dragonfly’s legs was sticking up out of a solidified white mass.
Of ice.
The math added up in his head very abruptly and he was suddenly moving.
It was a sign that Lee and he still had that unspoken communication as the engineer didn’t even ask and just moved with him, following his mad run to the hangar without a word.
Alan and Gordon had left the second Dragonfly pod at the Base and Jeff was ever so grateful.
“What’s…where are you going?” Grae’s eyes were wide as they all skidded to the side of the pod.
“Three of my sons are buried in ice. Where do you think I’m going?”
He didn’t bother to wait for an answer, climbing up into the cockpit with a leap of agility he hadn’t felt for years. With a nod from Lee, he snapped the hatch shut and grabbed controls he hadn’t used outside of a simulator in over a decade.
It was like returning home.
The Dragonfly took off for the airlock far above as the doors began their opening sequence without request.
-o-o-o-
John reacted the way he always reacted.
Without thought. There was no time for thought.
Hands moving across his console dragged as much information as he could from the static-fouled scans.
He blinked as the interference cleared somewhat.
A worried plea from his father John had no time for. A flick of his wrist and he mirrored his sources to his father’s terminal.
All three of his brothers had come to a halt. Gordon was still in the cavern, Four slammed up against a wall. Scott and Virgil were in the tunnel. Vital signs were still good, but there was no response from any of them.
No matter how much he yelled into comms.
One of the beacons had been swept away, causing the interference to intensify in that area, but the readings he had added up to a scenario that echoed past hell.
His father was already moving.
“John?” Alan’s voice was professional but sported an edge of terror.
“I’m coming down, Thunderbird Three.” He grabbed his helmet. “Dad is on his way out there. Do we have enough parts for a third Dragonfly?”
His brother’s voice solidified with the plan of action. “Yeah, Virg overcompensated as always. He packed stuff in as if he was planning to stay out here for a couple of years.”
John didn’t answer that. “Assemble another pod. I’ll see you down there asap.”
“FAB, Thunderbird Five.”
“Eos, align the Excel with the danger zone. Initiate elevator deployment.” He flung himself through his ‘bird. “I need as much information as you can give me. Relay on descent.”
“Yes, John. It appears that the water volume of the lake increased dramatically before the incident, but has now returned to its previous status.”
John slipped through the airlock to the elevator. He hit his comms. “Michael, there has been an incident. I am going down to the surface. You have the Excel.”
“FAB, Thunderbird Five. I will monitor.”
“Liaise with Eos.” He killed the connection as he entered the cockpit, his seat rotating towards him in welcome. “Eos, be nice.”
“I don’t like him.”
“Too bad. We need him.”
She grumbled in a way reminiscent of Virgil before coffee.
Maybe she had been taking notes.
He ignored it. “Send all information to my terminal here.” The elevator shuddered as it disengaged from Five and began its descent. The cockpit lit up with holograms.
He eyed the replay of the static-riddled scan as the lake swelled and overcame his brothers.
Four had been swept out of the water and washed ashore violently. Scott and Virgil, standing on that shore, hadn’t stood a chance.
One gloved hand reached up to poke the playback, pause and rewind. There had been a local seismic disturbance just before, epicentre to the north-east by a few hundred metres. Minor on an Earth scale, but since Callisto supposedly hadn’t had any major crustal movements in eons, it was unusual in the extreme.
“Eos, pull the Base seismic records. Have they detected anything like this before?”
The elevator’s thrusters fired as it hit the faint atmospheric boundary.
“Their system has recorded several incidents, but nothing of this magnitude.” Eos’ voice shifted to one of concern. “Incidents have been increasing recently. There have been three in the past month. John, one was recorded by the Base system the same day as the five members of their crew disappeared.”
“What? Why wasn’t that mentioned?”
“Unknown.”
He stared at the scan. “Do we have any source for more water to reach the lake?” It hurt his physics sensibilities. Water should not exist as a fluid in this environment at all.
“None within sensor range.”
Damnit. He was used to being able to see everything.
“Deploy a net of probes. I want everything in a ten thousand kilometre radius as crystal clear as you can get it.” If there was a pun in there, he refused to acknowledge it.
“Yes, John. That will cover the entire surface of the moon.”
“Exactly.” Something weird was happening here and he wanted to know what. If he had to throw everything Thunderbird Five had at it, he would.
The elevator thrusters fired again and the moon appeared around his windows, followed by the striking red of Three.
“Alan, are you ready?”
“Pod assembled, Thunderbird Five. Awaiting your orders.” There was no tremble in his brother’s voice, but there was an anxious impatience.
The elevator touched down with a soft thud. Eos’ control was perfect. “Thank you, Eos.”
“You are welcome, John.” A pause. “Be safe.”
His lips tightened a little. “FAB, Thunderbird Five.”
She didn’t answer as he stepped out onto the moon.
-o-o-o-
Alan didn’t remember his mother, but he had four brothers who did and he knew far too well the pain of what had happened when she was taken from them.
The fact that three of those brothers were now buried in the space-ice equivalent of an avalanche was absolutely terrifying.
The water had managed to travel some distance before solidifying and trapping everything. As far as Alan could tell, his brothers were encased in ice.
If they had been on Earth their lives would be in peril. In space, they were at least wearing their spacesuits. But spacesuits could be damaged.
He didn’t let himself follow that train of thought. He couldn’t afford it right now. Instead, he followed procedure.
That was what procedure was for.
It was a matter of minutes before John was stepping off the space elevator, his tall brother as confident and professional as ever.
Part of Alan was still surprised when John directed him to take control of the pod. Perhaps it was because Alan was used to the control freak habits of his two eldest brothers?
“Get us down there Alan.” John was distracted, glaring at his wrist projector.
He didn’t need to be told twice. With John secure in the backseat, Alan threw them down the gaping hole his ‘bird had dug, through the mole’s extension and into the dry cavern below.
The dragonfly latched onto the beacons and they darted down the correct tunnel, glittering rock streaking past them as their twin beams of bright light hit everything.
Including the mass of white that that suddenly swelled up on one side of the tunnel.
It wasn’t quite a wave, more a slosh of water, frozen in motion.
“What the hell?”
“Edge down the tunnel a little further, Scott is...” But they were already there and the flash of blue and red was obvious.
His eldest brother was embedded in the ice halfway up the wall. Alan only had breath as he yanked the dragonfly to an abrupt halt, her claws leaving gouges in the ice. “Scott!”
He was out of the pod as fast humanly possible.
One of his brother’s arms was dangling free and Alan reached for it. “Scott?”
Limp, gloved fingers.
John already had a hand laser out and the red of its beam was cutting ice in a loose silhouette of their brother’s body. As they worked him free, bits of ice fell away to the floor. It was fragmentary. Somewhere between solid and hard packed snow. The water had obviously frozen so quickly, it was aerated enough to stiffen fully.
Fortunately, because Alan had the sudden realisation that spacesuits or no, if his brothers couldn’t expand their ribcages, they couldn’t breathe regardless. The sudden relief sprouted new terror.
John helped Alan lower their big brother to the floor.
“Sc…Scott?”
For a second, Alan thought it was John speaking, but his astronaut brother answered, voice urgent. “Virgil?”
No response.
“Thunderbird Two, status!” John was moving, long legs leaping in the low gravity, propelling him back to the pod. He reached inside and pulled out a large torch. “Alan, attend to Scott.” And then his brother was running further down the tunnel, light bouncing ahead of him, holographic map hovering over his wrist.
A further spark of terror was smothered in Alan’s brain as he turned back to his prone and unconscious eldest brother and began chipping and melting ice to free him.
-o-o-o-
Virgil was lying flat on his back staring at white lit up by his helmet lights.
It took him a few solid minutes to realise exactly what he was looking at. His brain felt sluggish and was hurting like hell. He really needed more painkillers.
He automatically tried to calculate how long it was since his last dose and came up blank. There was time missing.
This realisation was quickly followed by the discovery that he wasn’t able to move.
God, his brain was slow. The first thought that came to mind was that yet another building had fallen on him. It happened far more often than he was willing to admit.
But then where was his exosuit?
He blinked slowly.
One arm was caught at an awkward angle and was protesting its position. His legs seemed to be splayed out evenly, though and his other arm seemed happy enough. Hell, there wasn’t really even much weight on him. He had definitely had worse.
But his chest was tight and breathing shallow. Something had him in its grip and he had to force down the visuals that came with that.
Not being able to move always sucked.
He really wished his head would stop hurting.
“Sc..Scott?” It was instinctual. In trouble, call for his big brother.
Need a hand.
“Virgil?” John’s voice. Johnny had the power to call Scotty, to get him help.
He opened his mouth to answer, but something shifted in the ice...ice...it was ice! Memories slammed into him of ice and snow and trapped and oh god...his sluggish brain couldn’t handle it.
“Thunderbird Two, status!”
John’s voice shook him.
Um, um…his heart was beating a mile a minute. He fought for control.
“Virgil? Son?”
Dad.
His father’s voice set off both relief and fear. Relief because of a deep-seated trust in his own father.
Fear because where was Scott? Scott should be here.
But Scott had been with him when the whatever had hit him.
Had hit him.
Water.
Space.
Callisto.
Sparkling crystal flickered in his mind’s eye.
“Scott?”
“Your brother is in good hands.”
Even his sluggish brain could see that as a non-answer. “Dad?”
“We’re digging you out.”
Oh.
As if to emphasize that statement there was a red flash and the world around him hissed. He closed his eyes as the light stabbed into his hurting head.
“Dad? Gordon?”
“Nearly there, son.”
Virgil’s heart clenched.
They uncovered his head first and Virgil teared up at the sight of his father’s worried expression above him. John was there as well, darting in and out of sight, obviously the source of the laser light.
“Johnny…”
There was a crack in the ice.
Ice.
His mind blanked in terror again.
Too many memories.
Far too many.
“Virgil! Look at me!” Dad’s voice held command and he had no choice but to obey. “You are safe.” His hand was being held and Virgil realised it had been cut from the ice. He tried to move his other arm, every heavy-lifting muscle he had straining against its restriction.
Another crack of stressed ice, a yelp from John and Virgil’s arm was suddenly free, ice fragments raining down on him.
Encouraged, he began working on his feet.
“Virgil, stay still just a moment longer.” John’s voice was strained.
Virgil wanted out.
“Virgil.” His Dad grabbed his flailing hand forced him to look at him, grey eyes reflecting the white ice. “Hold still, John is cutting you out.”
Yes, John was cutting him out. Red flickered amongst the white. Virgil swallowed and attempted to get the panic under control and found that he was trembling.
Damn.
He was a rescue operative. He should be calm.
The remaining weight on his belly was removed and he was finally able to take a deep breath.
It helped ever so much.
He closed his eyes and sought his centre.
And fell back on procedure.
If Scott was down, International Rescue was now his responsibility. He needed to be in control.
In control.
By the time John lifted the remaining ice off his legs, Virgil had found himself again. He clambered out of the ice as fast as he possibly could and shot to his feet.
And nearly fell flat on his face for the effort.
His father grabbed him and prevented his fall. “Virgil, sit down.”
There was a flicker of a medscanner, but Virgil was too busy assessing the situation to care. “Scott?”
“With Alan. Unconscious, but safe.”
“Gordon?”
“Still in the cave. Thunderbird Four is silent. I sent Lee. John is following him down.”
Damn. Virgil shook the last of the ice stuck to his uniform, straightened his baldric and took a step towards the direction of the cave, but was halted by a firm grip on his arm.
“You’re not going down there.”
Virgil spun on one foot and the world in all its glittering glory spun with him. “Gordon is down there.”
“John and Lee have him. You were buried in ice, Virgil.”
To his ultimate shame, Virgil shuddered at the concept.
But Gordon...
That grip on his arm tightened. “You’re coming with me.”
Virgil straightened, forcing steel into his spine. “With Scott unconscious, I am in command. I need to be down there.”
“No, you don’t.” His father took a step back up the tunnel, obviously intending to drag Virgil if he had to.
Virgil was no longer the scrappy kid who wanted to play with his paints instead of cleaning his room, and he stood fast.
His father had been in space a long time and his strength had paid the price.
There was no competition.
Buried in ice or not.
“Dad, I am going down to help with Gordon. Scott needs you. I’ll meet you up there the moment Gordon is safe.”
The need to be in two places at once, or more correctly four places, at least, was a common feeling Virgil had to ignore.
Gordon was the priority.
“I need an analysis of what happened. There was a wave. Why? See to Scott and Alan.” He reached up and gently peeled his father’s grip of his arm. “Thank you for helping me. Now I have to go help my brothers.” Turning he hit his comms, asked John for a sit rep and hurried down the tunnel.
He did not look back.

Scott had a headache.
That was the first hint of reality and not a new one in his life. He often woke with headaches, the only remaining question was what caused it this time.
“Hey, Scott, are you with us?”
Alan.
Several factors hit home at once. He was wearing his helmet, hence his uniform and Alan, only Alan, had said his name.
Mission.
He was sitting up before his brain had filled him in on the fact he was millions of miles away from home and gravity was a whole different thing on Callisto.
“Whoa!” Hands grabbed him. Hands that definitely belonged to Alan. The astronaut was crouched over him with worried eyes. “Take it easy. You might have a concussion.”
Head injury then.
“Mission status.”
“John’s gone after Gordon. Virgil is awake and out of the ice.”
Gordon. Gordon had been in the water. The weird water.
The very idea of Virgil being buried in ice again awoke horrors he did not want to face.
“Help me up.” Scott rolled himself over, ignoring the protests from his brother to stay put. His head protested very loudly and it became very apparent that the supposed head injury was not impressed with any movement.
Ow.
But, mission.
“Scott, what are you doing?” Another set of hands grabbed at him, which was probably a good thing because he was going down if they hadn’t. As it was, the whole world shifted as he was forcibly lowered to sit on the white, white ground again.
There was a flicker of yellow light and muttering from his youngest brother. “We need to get him back to base.” Alan’s voice was worried.
But Gordon. “I’ve got to go help Gordon.” He tried to stand up again, but too many hands held him down. His shoulders were grabbed and he found a pair of grey eyes staring at him. “Dad? Gordy is in danger.”
“I know son. John, Lee and Virgil will see to him.”
Virgil. He blinked. “Virgil was with me!” Again he struggled to get up.
His father held him down. “Virgil is very determined that he is fine. You, however, are not. You have a concussion. I will take you back to the Base and you will rest. Alan will help his brothers.”
“But-“
The hands on his shoulders squeezed. “Do I have to ask Virgil to reinforce that order?”
Virgil? Order? God, his head hurt.
But this was Dad. Dad knew what to do in space. Dad was...Dad was...
“Scott, you with me?”
He was shaken just a little and his head hated him for it. A groan and his hand encountered his helmet. Augh.
Space sucked.
“C’mon, Scotty, let’s get you into the pod.” Alan’s voice was gentle and professional. He was so proud of his little brother. “Yeah, well, I learnt from the best. Up you get.”
He was pulled slowly to his feet and he had to bite down or lose whatever the hell it was he had eaten last. There were steps and then he was sitting and familiar restraints were holding him in place.
He closed his eyes.
Gordon. He had to help Gordon.
“Your brothers will help him, Scott, you know that.”
But-
His world shook as the pod lifted. He glimpsed the back of his father’s helmet. Dad. Dad was driving. Dad had control.
He could let go.
-o-o-o-
Alan swallowed as their father launched the pod back down the tunnel, its headlights sparkling.
He had reported Scott’s status the moment they had the medscanner’s results and had received a very abrupt acknowledgement from Virgil.
It was unusual to have Virgil in command in space. It wasn’t his native environment and he didn’t venture into it very often. It, of course, wasn’t the first time, and Alan trusted Virgil with his life. But this was Alan’s turf, he needed to be there to help.
He leapt into the remaining dragonfly and dashed off down the tunnel.
It got tighter and tighter as he flew closer to the Crystal Cave, his access blocked by frozen lake water. For a moment he thought he was going to have to abandon the pod, but he was just able to squeeze through the entrance.
The lake was exactly as it had been. Calm and glittering in the pod’s headlamps. He turned slowly on the rocky beach to find Four, free of ice, jammed up against the wall beside the tunnel entrance. She was on her port side, cabin rammed into the rock.
Alan’s heart clenched as he set the dragonfly down.
Both John and Virgil along with Uncle Lee were attempting to gain access via the rear hatch. The ‘bird was made for water, but on the very rare occasion such as this, Brains had built space capable redundancies into her airlock.
How many submersibles in this universe were also space capsules in disguise?
But all this was redundant if the seals had been compromised.
A quick query of Thunderbird Five reassured Alan that Gordon’s vitals were still strong. There was still no response from their fish brother, but he was alive and relatively stable and Four reported no seal ruptures.
Yet.
Virgil grunted as the back of Four was slowly cranked open. Uncle Lee and his engineer brother were putting all their muscle into heaving the hatch open while John slipped into the vehicle.
A moment later the door was shoved shut again and Alan was surprised to see Virgil seal it with a hand laser.
Tired eyes caught Alan’s. His brother didn’t need to explain why he was doing what he was doing.
“Inner airlock door is now compromised.” John’s voice was calm and sure despite the subject matter. “Proceeding to the cockpit.”
Alan stared at Virgil a moment, caught by his haggard expression before hurrying around Four towards her belly viewports.
All he could see was Gordon’s feet. No matter how he shone his hand light through those windows, he could see nothing more. Gordon’s pilot’s seat obscured everything.
For it to be in that position it had to have been severed off its mountings.
Hell.
Determined, Alan scrambled around Four’s nose and tried to find her front viewports. Everything was obscured by rock.
Crystal glittered mockingly at him, an almost scarlet chunk of quartz sticking out of the wall and falling over as if it was reaching for Four.
Alan fought the urge to shove it away from his brother’s ‘bird.
“Cockpit hatch is non-operational. Eos, relay through my suit sensors and give me a detailed report on Gordon’s position.” John’s voice was ever so calm.
Alan wanted to scream.
He hurried back to the lower ports and stared at his brother’s feet.
Again Gordon had been crushed in his ‘bird. How hurt was he this time. How long would he take to recover?
Virgil spoke up and Alan was startled to find his engineer brother and Uncle Lee standing beside him. Virgil was standing ramrod straight. “Eos, can you pull any medical data?”
“Please hold.” The AI’s voice was crisp and professional. “Compensating for interference.”
Damned interference. Alan was so sick of static. Their comm lines and sensor feeds were usually perfect. What was it with this place?
A big hand gently wrapped around his arm.
“I’m fine, Virgil.”
The hand did not let go.
“Thank you, Eos.” How did John stay so calm? “Cutting into the cockpit now.”
Virgil’s wrist control lit up and projected the sensor data he had requested from Eos. True to this place, parts flickered and there was some pixilation, but a clear outline of both Gordon and John inside Four was all the reassurance it could be.
Gordon was curled up on the ‘floor’ of his ‘bird, on what had been Four’s portside viewports.
The laser cutter in John’s hand flared up brightly as he cut through the cockpit hatch mechanisms.
Red light flickered through the marine acrylic enough to catch on Alan’s uniform.
“His right arm is broken again.” Virgil sighed. “He’s going to be so pissed.”
“I’m in.” And John was. Light lit up the viewports, quickly followed by the yellow of a medscanner.
“Oh, thank god.” Beside him, Virgil visibly deflated in relief. The hologram lit up with Gordon’s full medical details. A red alarm hovered over one arm where the break snapped his right ulna and his head had an orange flag that pinpointed a likely concussion. But other than that, Gordon appeared whole and safe, his spacesuit undamaged and airtight. Alan’s shoulders dropped almost as much as Virgil’s.
“He’s safe to move, John.” No doubt John knew that, but Virgil obviously had a need to confirm it anyway. He had a habit of doing that. Alan wasn’t really sure who it was for, Virgil’s brothers or himself.
The next few moments involved cutting open the rear hatch of Four again. This time there was the hiss of escaping atmosphere as Virgil took the entire door off the sub, no longer needing to worry about Gordon’s suit integrity.
John emerged carefully carrying his unconscious brother, Gordon’s helmeted head limp on one shoulder, his arm in an emergency splint, no doubt from one of Four’s first aid packs.
“Vincent, I’m thinking you boys need to take your brother back to base.”
Alan suddenly realised they were a pod or two short to carry all of them. There were five operatives and only one pod.
Uncle Lee eyed Virgil, his lips thin. “Albert, you could fly George while Vincent, John and I dig out the other pod.”
Virgil shifted his feet as he translated that, and Alan frowned at him. His engineer brother was wrecked. Alan could see it in his eyes. Understandable
Virgil’s nod was firm, regardless. “FAB. Alan, you’re with Gordon. John, what is the impact of the interference on Eos’ capability to pilot the pod if necessary?”
Their space brother was looking down at Gordon’s face frowning. “Eos is deploying a moon-wide probe net. We can use them to strengthen the signal. I think that above ground, Thunderbird Five should be able to pilot reliably. I would not recommend attempting it underground.”
Virgil nodded again before striding over to Alan’s pod and, climbing up and throwing the hatch back, began reconfiguring the backseat to transport their injured brother.
Alan hurried over to help and within minutes, John had secured their unconscious aquanaut brother prone on his side in the back of the pod.
Silent, eyes closed, non-responsive.
Alan took off smoothly and with as much care as possible, flew back up the tunnel, heading above ground and back to Callisto Base.
His last glance at the Crystal Cave outlined the shapes of two brothers and an uncle standing ever so alone in a giant cavern that had tried to kill three of his brothers.

Derek was resting on top of your body, his head resting on your neck as you wrapped your arms around him, finding it hard to find sleep. The two of you laid together on the couch, not wearing any clothes.
Derek had been asleep for some time now, there was no surprise. He was exhausted, even if he didn't want to admit it. You stared out the window, your mind kept thinking about everything that was happening, from Derek to working with Sheriff Stilinski. It became harder and harder to watch him look around the station, with it only half the size it was before. And it was all because of you, someone he trusts.
Your phone rang slightly as you jumped, waking up Derek as he gasped softly.
“Crap, sorry,” you apologized.
“Who’s calling you?” he asked.
You picked up the phone, frowning slightly.
“Sheriff Stilinski. Is everything okay?” you asked, sitting up slightly as did Derek.
“Not necessarily. I need you to come back to the hospital. With Derek,” he replied.
Derek frowned before nodding his head.
“Y-Yeah, we’ll be there in a few,” he hung up the call as you turned to Derek.
“Oh, I guess it’s bring your boyfriend to work day,” he smirked slightly.
“Oh, haha. Come on, go put on some clothes,” you scoffed, trying to hide your nerves.
You pressed your lips against his, before getting off the couch, throwing your shirt over your head.
---
“So he was a wendigo?” you asked.
“Yeah, I’ve never seen one in California before,” Derek replied.
The two of you stood on the roof of the hospital, along with Sheriff Stilinski.
“What can you sense?” you asked.
“I think there was someone else here too,” he frowned.
“Scott said there was some ax murderer and Sean,” Sheriff Stilinski replied.
“There was someone else. Young and male. I can smell something,” Derek said.
“I’ll go check the security cameras,” Sheriff Stilinski nodded, heading back inside.
“What can you smell?” you frowned.
“I don’t know. I’m gonna need your help on this,” he turned to face you.
“Me? How?” you raised an eyebrow.
“Use your powers. Focus and try to tell me what’s here,” Derek explained.
“I don't necessarily have a spell for this-”
“Then make one. Or combine one,” he replied.
You sighed nervously before nodding your head.
“Revertere,” you felt chills going down your spine as you gasped, your eyes turning purple.
“T-There’s blood… and fear,” you started.
“Is there anything else?” you took a deep breath, gagging at the smell.
“I-I think the person broke a bone,” you started.
“Okay, that's something… (Y/N),” you scrunched your eyes, taking a shaky breath as you could hear screams fill your ears.
“(Y/N)!” Derek put his hand on your shoulder as you gasped, opening your eyes.
“Your nose is bleeding,” he pointed out.
You wiped your nose, slightly embarrassed as you shook your head.
“S-Sorry,” you replied softly.
“Are you okay?” he asked.
“Why wouldn't I be?” you replied.
“Yeah, okay. Let's go find the Sheriff, okay?” Derek asked.
You nodded your head, before receiving a spam of texts, and then a call from Scott.
“Scott? What is it?” you said.
“I-I screwed up!” he yelled.
“Calm down, what happened?” you asked again.
“I… Come to my house, please. Like now,” Scott yelled.
“Uh,” you turned to face Derek as he nodded his head.
“I-I need you,” he said.
“O-Okay, I’m on my way,” you replied.
“Thank you,” he hung up the phone as you walked to Derek.
“I…” you started.
“Go, it’s okay. I can handle Sheriff Stilinski on my own,” he nodded.
You kissed his cheek softly.
“I’ll see you at home?” you asked.
He nodded his head, before you stroked his cheek, walking away.
---
“Scott?!” you yelled, running up to his room.
“(Y/N),” he and Stiles sat on the edge of his bed, rubbing their heads nervously.
“Go in the bathroom,” you frowned, before walking to the bathroom, opening the curtain.
“Oh my god,” Liam sat inside, duct tape around his mouth, arms, and legs.
His eyes went wide, as he screamed, muffled through the tape.
“You kidnapped a kid?!” you screamed.
“I-I bit him,” he stuttered.
“First, get him out of the bathtub! What the hell?!” you pulled him up, walking him to the bed.
His body was shaking as he sat down on the chair.
“Don’t scream, Liam. If you don’t scream, the duct tape stays off, okay?” Stiles warned as you glared at him.
He pulled the duct tape off while you pulled Scott aside.
“What happened?” you asked.
“Sean was going to kill him. He threw him off of the building and I had no choice. I had to save his life,” Scott explained.
“Well, congrats, I guess,” you shrugged.
“(Y/N), help me!” Scott whined.
“What am I supposed to do?” you whisper-yelled.
“I-Is he dying or is he turning?” he asked.
“Uhm,” you turned back to the little kid, bending down to his level.
“Sensum,” he gasped as your eyes glew purple, holding his hand.
“Yeah, Scott. He’s turning,” you nodded.
“What are we supposed to do now?” Stiles asked.
“For starters, maybe untie him? He’s probably freaking out enough as it is,” you replied.
They nodded, while you took the duct tape off of Liam, while he kept looking at the floor.
“Hey, I know you're scared, but we’re gonna help you, okay?” you started, earning a small nod from him.
“Good, what's your name?” you asked.
“Liam,” his voice was barely above a whisper.
“Okay, Scott and Stiles are going to help you. You can trust them, okay?” he continued to nod softly before you stood up.
“Scott, explain to him what's happening. And Stiles… just leave the poor kid alone,” you rubbed your head.
“What about you?” Scott asked.
“As much as I want to help you, I can’t. You, as an alpha, need to form a bond with him, by yourself. You can’t do that if I’m here criticizing your style,” you replied.
“No, I really need your help,” Scott shook his head.
“My hands are tied, Scott. You can do this, I believe in you,” you pat his back as he sighed.
“Well, thanks I guess. I’ll see you tomorrow or whatever,” you gave him and Stiles a small smile before walking out of the house.
---
“Derek?” you called, walking into the loft as chills ran down your spine, seeing the power out.
“Derek?” you yelled again.
“He’s not here,” you jumped, hearing Peter’s voice, slightly strained.
You slowly made your way in the direction of his voice, before gasping. Peter laid on the ground, an ax sticking out of his chest.
“Help me,” he groaned.
You pulled him up, dragging him to the table as he leaned against it.
“Hey, what’s going on?” you heard Derek’s voice as he entered the loft behind you, frowning slightly.
“The ax murderer is after the supernatural. Look at what he did to Peter,” you said nervously, scratching the back of your head.
“That looks like it hurt,” Derek said.
“We need to find a safe place for you,” you muttered.
“What? Why?” he scoffed.
“Peter has an arrow in his chest!” you exclaimed.
“And?!” he replied.
“Derek, what if that was you?! That thing broke into the loft, and almost killed Peter! Who would've known that Peter was here?! He was obviously coming for you,” you raised your voice.
“He could've been coming for you too,” he replied.
“But my powers are fully functional,” you argued.
“I wouldn't call that fully functional,” he scoffed.
“Derek! This is serious! What if that was you?!”
“But it wasn't! I’m not completely useless, (Y/N),” he shook his head.
“We don't know if you’re dying or not. That hunter… what if he’s trying to speed up the process?” your emotions were a mix of both anger and worry.
“(Y/N), take a breath. You need to stop stressing out about this, okay? Just… I will be fine,” he put his arm on your shoulder.
“Don’t go anywhere without me,” you said.
“I never go anywhere without you as it is,” he replied.
“As much as I would love to see the part where you two start making out, don’t forget about the man who’s bleeding out on your table!” Peter yelled while you rolled your eyes.
“Okay, fine,” you started.
“Wait!” Derek stopped you.
“What?” you asked.
“We should just leave him like this for a few hours,” Derek shrugged, while you held back a laugh.
“I’ll die,” Peter argued.
“Then half of our problems would disappear,” Derek said.
“Well, I don’t want him to die, I mean he could be useful sooner or later,” you replied.
“We both know that’s not true. But we’ll just leave him for a few hours, okay?” Derek raised an eyebrow.
You put your hand on his waist, nodding your head while you heard Peter protesting behind you two.
---
“And he escaped last night! He was tricking all of us!” Scott groaned.
“Smart kid,” you said.
“(Y/N), please help us!” Scott begged.
“Who are you talking to?” Derek whispered, walking into his room while you sat on the bed.
“It's Scott,” you replied.
“What happened?” he laid next to you, resting his head on your chest.
“(Y/N)!” Scott yelled.
“Okay, I told you I can't help you!” you replied.
“Can Derek help me?” he asked.
“What do you need help with?” Derek asked while you put the phone on speaker.
“I bit someone. He's going to turn but he doesn't trust me, in fact, he keeps running away from us,” Scott explained.
“Interesting… good luck,” Derek shrugged.
You smiled softly, before stroking his head.
“That’s not advice,” Scott groaned.
“Every alpha has their own way of teaching their betas control. I used their pain and fears. But you’re not like that,” Derek explained.
“So how am I supposed to help him? There's a full moon, tonight,” Scott said.
“Just take him to Lydia’s boathouse, like you do for Malia,” you shrugged.
“How am I supposed to get him there if he doesn't trust me?” Scott asked.
“I don’t know, Scott. Tell him there's something big happening,” you replied.
“I don’t know how to do this,” Scott sighed.
“Well, you’re gonna do good. You have a 14-year-old-”
“He’s fifteen,”
“A 15-year-old kid who probably wants to party. Do something with that,” you said.
“Yeah, okay. Thanks, I guess,” he ended the call as you wrapped your arms around Derek.
“Well, you’re in a good mood,” you said softly.
“I like laying down like this. It’s like a soft pillow under my head,” you smacked his arm softly.
“That’s a compliment!” he scoffed.
“Yeah, okay. We need to get up and get to Sheriff Stilinski’s office,” you replied.
“I know,” he nodded.
You pressed your lips against his forehead, laying down with him.
“I love you,” you said softly
“I love you too, (Y/N/N).”
---
“He talked through this,” you handed Sheriff Stilinski a small arm pad with a keyboard attached to it.
“It’s military,” he noticed.
“Who runs around with a tomahawk?” Sheriff Stilinski exclaimed.
“Well, I had one for I.E.D removal in Afghanistan,” Parrish walked into the office, as you raised an eyebrow.
“Well, it’s… can we track it or something?” you asked.
“Yeah, I can plug that armband into a laptop. It's going to take some time, of course,” he said.
Noah nodded, handing him the band as he sat on the desk, plugging it into the laptop.
After a few minutes of silence, you heard a beeping come from his laptop.
“I got something,” he frowned.
“It’s an IP address,” he started.
“We can track that, right?” you asked.
“Yeah… I think I found another message. Does anyone recognize the handle ‘The Benefactor?” he asked.
You shook your head, frowning before you looked at the laptop.
The Benefactor: Money Transferred
“What does that mean?” Derek asked.
“It means we’re not just dealing with a killer. We’re dealing with an assassin,” Sheriff Stilinski realized.
You felt chills throughout your bones as you held Derek’s hand, squeezing it softly.
“W-Where did you track the IP address to?” you asked.
“Uh… to Beacon Hills High,” he said.
“Fan-freakin-tastic,” you muttered.
“Well, let’s go then? (Y/N), Derek, with me,” you both nodded, following him out.
---
“Just because it connected to the school wifi doesn't mean he’s here,” Derek pointed out.
“We've lost too many people to be able to walk around this school at night,” Noah held his gun out, pointing it carefully.
You walked down the hallway, before Derek pulled you back.
“Look,” he pointed to the floor, where a pile of blood laid.
“Blood?” you frowned.
“I didn't smell it,” he said softly. You felt your heart drop slightly.
He stood behind you, while you opened the door slightly, before stopping, seeing a string attached to the doorknob.
“It’s an explosive,” you said to Noah.
“A claymore… get down!” Derek wrapped his arms around you, pulling you to the ground as you gasped, seeing an ax go flying over your head and hitting the wall.
---
Noah fell to the ground, while you pushed yourself up, yanking the ax out of the man’s hand, pushing him against the lockers.
Derek grabbed him, pulling his arms behind his back while he struggled.
“Handcuffs,” Noah threw them to you, as you put them around the man’s arms, holding him back.
“Come on, we’ll take him down to the station,” Noah said.
You nodded softly, before seeing Peter standing across the hall, his claws out.
“Peter…” you started.
He ran to the mute, pushing his claws into his chest.
“Peter!” Derek yelled.
Peter pushed him to the ground, on top of him as he continued scratching at him, blood splattering across the walls and on all four of you.
You clenched your jaw tightly, as Derek pushed Peter back.
“We learned a better way,” Derek growled.
“I’m a creature of habit,” Peter replied.
“We could have used him,” you dig your nails into your palms.
“And now he’s dead,” Peter said.
“Oh, you son of a-” your eyes glew purple as Derek held you back.
“No, don’t,” Derek shook his head.
“We need to figure out why this is all happening and why he came after you in the first place? We need to find out who the benefactor is and we need to know who else is on this list,” you exhaled softly.
“And we will. Come on,” Derek put his hand on your waist.
“We should clean this all up,” you sighed.
You watched as Peter walked out of the school.
“You can go, Sheriff, we’ll clean this up,” you said.
“No, (Y/N). You two should go home,” Noah shook his head.
“I’ll see you tomorrow,” he said.
You nodded softly, leaving the school with Derek.
---
“Why are you getting so stressed out?” Derek asked softly.
“Why aren’t you getting stressed out?” you replied.
“I’m too tired,” he sighed.
You pulled off your jacket, running your fingers through your hair.
“Okay, hey, look at me,” Derek put his hands on your cheeks, stroking them softly.
You closed your eyes, sniffling.
“We have to go take a shower. We’re covered in blood,” you said.
“(Y/N),” he said again.
You looked up at him nervously.
“Tell me what’s wrong,” he said softly.
“Peter killed our only chance at finding who sent that man to kill us,” you said softly.
“But we can still figure this out,” Derek said.
“Yeah, I know,” you nodded softly.
“So what else is on your mind?” he asked.
Your eyes watered slightly as you took big breaths.
“I don't want you to die,” you whispered.
“(Y/N), I’m fine. I’m not dying,” he shook his head.
“Please, Derek,” you scoffed.
“You need to stop thinking negatively about everything. Especially now. I’ll admit it, I’m sick. I’m not fine, but you can't say that I’m dying. I-I’m scared,” he said softly.
You stroked his cheek softly.
“But I can't keep focusing on that. There are so many other things that we need to think about,” he said.
You nodded as he wrapped his arms around you, while you buried your head in his chest.
“Come on, let’s go take a shower, yeah?” he gave you a small smile while you pressed your lips against his.
“Yeah, let’s go.”
