Witch Tip
Creating a simmer pot will cleanse your home! (And make it smell super good!)
Just put some water in a pot on the stove, bring it to a simmer, and use different herbs and things that align with your intentions and enjoy the cleansing and the smell!
I like to use rosemary, cinnamon, basil and others depending on the intention!
Happy crafting!

Okay, but if simmer pots can be used to cleanse, protect, raise vibes, etc., then it stands to reason that anything you do in the kitchen that puts off an aroma that fills the house can be used in a similar manner. Like, when you bake or roast things.
You can be baking bread and set an intention for the aroma to fill your home with abundance since that's one of the things wheat can correspond with.
The smell of a roasting chicken can be for new beginnings.
A chocolate cake can be a grounding influence in the home.
You can infuse magic in any and every step of baking and cooking, not just in putting in ingredients and stirring.

Simmer pot to cleanse and protect your home
Picture from pixabay.com
I think simmer pots are one of my favourite ways to cast a spell, together with spell jars and candle magic. They're relatively easy, make your home spell amazing and are incredibly versatile.
This particular one is for cleansing your home from negative energies and to bring all the good things in.
Ingredients:
Moon water - for magical properties
Apple - for protection
Chamomile - for purification, good luck and prosperity
Cinnamon - for prosperity and protection
Lavender - for purification
Orange - for hope and positivity
Rosemary - for peace and protection
A bay leaf - To set your intention
You can mix and match these however you like. The only ingredient I use in every one of my simmer pots, and recommend to always use, is water with intention (any type of water like moon, sun, rain, storm, etc. Whatever matches your intentions).
The process:
Set your intentions very clear in your mind
Write your intention on the bay leaf
Add the moon water in the pot, then add your chosen ingredients
Add the bay leaf
Bring it to a boil and stir it clockwise to bring your intentions into your home
Reduce it to a simmer
You can either let the pot boil down until there is just a little bit of water left, or top it off with water for as long as you like. Personally I do either of these, completely on intuition.
I hope you like this simmer pot recipe! It is one of my favourite ways to cleanse my home. I hope it inspires you to do your own simmer pot. Blessed Be!
