I finished the less important side characters. Just wanted to draw them so I had a visual ref for when I write them.
From left to right we have:
Nicolle, Gabriellas aunt and thus her fathers younger sister. She's the middle child and as you might be able to tell from her outfit, a professional ice skater. The glitter on her dress is supposed to represent a rising phoenix, a metaphor for being "reborn" after having to drop out of skating for a while due to overexhaustion and burn out and coming back better than ever. Her career is her life, she will not talk about anything else ever. Her sister does her hair for her.
In the middle we have Alexandra, the youngest sister to Nicolle and Gabriellas father. She does heavy wheight lifting, owns a sports clothing brand and organizes sports programms to teach people that sport can be fun without needing to be competitive or for wheightloss purposes. Also graphic eyeliner is a must and her outfit is inspired by 4-time olympic gold winner Serena Williams' adorable poofy tennis outfits. Sports wear can be cute and practical. For her physique I references Emily Campbell, britains first ever medal winning womens olympic wheightlifting candidate
And last we have Waylen. Waylen is an adrenaline junkie and a member of the Hale pharma private military. He has a whole arsenal of prosthetics for different pruposes and yes those are mantis blades from cyberpunk and the prosthetic legs are inspired by that one lady from the first kingsman. He went through so many body modificatiosn that the constant switching out of parts, medications post surgeries and his overall very low self preservation instincts took a bit of a toll on his body so now he has to permanently wear the bottom part of his airfilter mask or else he will literally suffocate. All the foods he consumes must be liquid and snorkeled in through a straw and a little hatch at the front of his mask. Thanks to the previously mentioned issues he has a almost non existant feeling of hunger, meaning that he often only realizes he should eat when it's allready to late and he tips over sideways. Depending on how much coffee he has in his system he can be a representaion of every song in the misery/cpr/reeses puffs mix. The only reason for why he hasn't been kicked out of the military and sent to early retirement yet is because he's good for the morale and knows what he's doing as long as he's in a team, on his own he suddenly looses all those braincells and turns into a "stealth is optional? nice *explosions*" type bingus.
#myart#ocs#I used to hate sports growing up because in school everything was competitive#and outside of school everything seemed to be with the sole purpose of loosing wheight#in fact you can be quite active in sports and still not loose a pound simply because muscle is heavier than fat#and also because diet plays more into wheightloss than training#so to everyone who keeps calling people who don't look “normal” (notice the “”) lazy and unhealthy: plz shut the fuck up and die <3#you know absolutely nothing about the people you're looking at. their body their choice and now do me the favour and fall off a cliff#I'm really sick and tired of people trying to police other peoples bodies AND FEELINGS ABOUT THEIR BODIES under the guise of care#as you might be able to tell I didn't put as much work into these as the others since they are only side characters#that will only pop up once or twice#also since gigi is as ashy and pasty as the rind of a parmesan cheese and her aunties are significantly darker you can probably guess#she is mixed with her mom being what would be asian on planet earth and her dad is mixed black and something secret#and with something secret I mean this is still a work in progress#he'll be the bestest of best dads none of that toxic father figure bs in my house#he is inspired by christopher judge who was literally one of my childhood heroes in his role as teal'c in stargate btw#visually and personality wise I mean#a strong but still kind and caring for those he holds dear. maybe a bit odd to outsiders :3#tw eating issues#tw ed#kinda#bc of waylens digestive situation?#side characters

Myths about Autism #4 - Looking autistic
(with a side order of 'I don't hate people with autism.')
A dearly beloved aunt, who regrettably passed several years ago, flat-out refused to believe that I am autistic. Even after a full explanation of my struggles and diagnostic trajectory through the local mental healthcare system. I did not come across as autistic. She wasn't the only one.
Well, I say fair enough.
[long read. I won't discuss the actual myth. We are clear on that it is bunk. However, what should we now do?]
Let's talk about what autism looks like. Allistic people seem to have these amazing insights into what's going on in other people's minds basically on full-auto or at least they claim as much but for all I can discern they seem to judge inner workings of the mind by what the visible body does. They need our outward appearance in order to function.
What is autism? We know, dear reader, that autism is high, wide and broad. That it is called a spectrum does not mean that it behaves like the number line, not even like the complex plane. It is an insanely varied, multivariate affair. "If you have met one autistic, you have met one autistic," as the platitude has it. Yet autism is real. Although it does not exist as a thing, it is a valid label for a more or less well-defined manner of neurodivergent development. All of the divergence inside the brain is invisible, though. Can we fault the allistic people all around us for only looking at the conduct and mannerisms they do notice?
Society moreover has been and is ill-served by tropes mainly in entertainment but also in serious media. For a long time, autism basically equated Rain Man, from the eponymous movie starring Dustin Hoffman. I still find it ironic that the person who inspired the movie, the late Kim Peek, did not have autism at all but rather FG Syndrome. More recent is the example of Sheldon Cooper from The Big Bang Theory, who according to many people has Asperger's. It is interesting that almost no one judges his friend Amy Farrah Fowler in the same way as she shares many of his characteristics.
Again I ask can we fault allistic people their bafflement when we come out, so to say, as autistic? By far most of us aren't Sheldon Coopers and certainly a vanishingly small minority of us are even like Rain Man.
I tend to empty a box of matches onto the desk when speaking as an expert by experience to professionals. I give them three seconds to tell me exactly how many matches are visible and of course they always fail. Given proper experience, an estimation might of course be given but I tell them the exact answer. After everyone has had the time to be amazed at my 'autistic feat', I explain that I personally counted the matches before putting them into the box that very morning.
This is my way of upending their own cultural ideas on autism. Returning to my point, I really don't think we can blame allistics all that much. Cultural inertia on top of normal human cognitive laziness makes it hard to take on new and contra-intuitive notions.
Quite frustratingly, rather a lot of allistic people, once you have told them, still exclude us while saying they don't dislike autistics/autism. A good example would be.. well, almost everyone I come across. Basically everyone commiserated with me when I became open about my diagnosis and vowed to help and understand. They can't but they aren't aware of that particular disability. It is not their fault.
The point here is that they do keep responding negatively to an impressive array of ingrained traits. Stimming in the form of feet tapping of knee bouncing (my own go-to stim), data dumping about my SPINs, correcting vague or incorrect language, taking vocal utterances literally and so on and so forth. Really now, I am not much bothered about specific word choice but it is not okay to just hold on to your preconceived notions when an actual human explains their own mental state or makes a half-way reasonable request.
Those preconceived cultural notions do exist and they do cause harm. All of this creates much frustration and anger among autistics. This is easily visible during even a cursory inspection of #actually autistic and like tags. There is so much pain! People are crying out in sheer endless reblogs, venting and sometimes even ranting about the unfair position we have in society, especially if we are also non-white, female or belong to yet one more disadvantaged or non-privileged group. The amount of anger, sometimes even rage, on this forum is simply staggering. I have run afoul of it myself, mostly for responding to some post without thinking and naively assuming I was really helping. I have hurt other people's feelings.
It would be fairly easy for me to now wax eloquent about how I was misunderstood, that from my own blog it was crystal clear that.. and a dozen other excuses. I simply say this: I am sorry. However, we still have to do something. I strongly feel that venting to eachother is all well and good but if that is all we do, things will not get better. In that case, venting becomes just a way of blowing off steam before going right back to that very same society that can be so hurtful and indifferent.
It would be a grand thing indeed if I had all the answers at this point and I don't. I do have one answer. What I propose will sound cruel to some. I will put yet another responsibility in the autistic camp. Yet more adapting to do when allistics just breeze through their lives. (They don't, but never mind that. I understand the feeling.) Still, on sober reflection we will have to admit that this responsibility is already solidly on our side for the very simple reason that no one will do it for us. We may just not have been aware of it.
I am talking about actively regulating our own emotions in general and making space for negative feelings in particular. If we manage to pull that off, we can just be with frustration or sadness for a while and allow it to process itself. I know first-hand how impossibly vague and wishy-washy new agey that sounds. I also know first-hand the awesome power of such a skill if you can see it from the inside.
At least we will have control. To some extent. We will be responding from strength, not from weakness. We will be secure in ourselves, not beaten this way and that by the breaking waves of the ocean of demands and impulses of this life. We will know deep in our being that we are always welcome in the present moment. We will understand viscerally that emotions are not self, thoughts are not self. They may influence us but they are not us.
Will that make us feel better? Maybe. After a while. Unpleasant emotions and thoughts will not suddenly vanish. But it will help. For details, see my series on Reconnecting to our authentic selves.

One of those days where I'm feeling chatty for no reason.
I don't have anything new to say about this, but on the other hand, I don't suppose this sort of thing can be talked about too often.
Recently a coworker started wearing foundation after not wearing it for a while, because people said her face "looked really red." Well, it did - because her natural complexion is ruddy, and we had never seen it before because she always wore foundation. But the truth is her natural complexion is adorable. If she chooses to wear foundation because she likes it, I'd support her choice. But the vibe is very much that she became anxious due to coworkers bringing attention to her red cheeks. Those coworkers honestly didn't mean anything by it - they were just noticing something had changed. But it's a shame that it led to her feeling like she needs to hide her face.
And there's so much pressure for people to look perfect these days. I suppose there always has been, but anyway, what I decided to rant about now in sum is just this: expecting perfect all the time is stupid and lazy and we should be constantly, constantly calling it out as such.
Make-up is art, but it isn't treated as if that's what is. The vast majority of the time it's an expectation, especially of women, but increasingly of men as well. Once the choice to do something disappears, the art of it disappears as well.
I don't wear make-up because I dislike how it feels on my skin, and it's expensive and time-consuming. Also I love flipping to the mental finger to employers who think people shouldn't expect to be treated well unless they look a certain way or at least participate in the performance of it.
I love variety in books, food, and travel. I love variety in faces as well. Read an interview once with some woman who's name I've forgotten who talked about when she stopped dyeing her hair. Showing her gray hair gave her freedom she never felt before, she said. Giving up the constant anxiety over her appearance let her do things as she wanted. Just imagine - going out whenever I want, not having to stop and think first "do I have time to do my hair and make up and shave and put together an outfit?" I really envy that. I don't wear make-up, but I still dye my hair and shave, and I have turned down things I really wanted to do because my body wasn't "ready."
(Shaving is my personal demon because my skin just doesn't like any lotion or razor I use on it. So if I want to go to the beach, I gotta really plan my shaving schedule. More than once I have thought to myself, "Adulthood is just being itchy all the time," lol)
I saw a picture today of a middle-aged woman with a long face and long hair. She looked fun and bohemian. In the next photo she had a short bob. The shorter cut suited the shape of her head a bit better, but either way, she still looked fun and bohemian.
Saw a picture of a high school friend who's since gone full-on dad bod. Guess what, comparing him to himself at 16 is fucking stupid. We're all programmed to compare ourselves and everyone else. Not doing it is something we have to put effort in to learn.
This is the truth: If you don't bother comparing people, voila, you stop caring. And start appreciating. I don't need to tell you what people say about women with long faces or men with dad bods etc etc and so forth - everyone already knows. It's all stupid. We should be making just as much noise about how stupid it is as some people make about other people not looking beautiful enough for them.
There's nothing wrong with make-up, there's nothing wrong with pretty, or hot, or whatever - but there is when you start creating benchmarks and keeping points and acting like people who look like people are in fact aliens. I wish every time someone makes a dumbass comment about someone else's looks, their friends would put on fake antennae and chant "TAKE ME TO YOUR LEADER." Because only an alien would look at normal humans and be disgusted that we don't all look like instagram stars.
It's like how you go to the store and all the fruit look identical to each other, when in reality, so-called "misshapen" fruit is thrown out despite being perfectly edible and not at all misshapen - we've just decided a strawberry should look like this and a banana should look like that. Humanity needs to wake up to the fact that we can't control nature and all attempts to do so are only hurting us.
The only way to do that is for the people who are hurt by it to de-program. It's so hard right now with social media and perfect girls absolutely everywhere, with gobs and gobs of make-up and false eyelashes and fake nails and contoured cheeks - because, again, none of that is bad by itself. If people want to use their face and body as a canvas that should be completely up to them. But more often than not it results in punishment for everyone who can't or chooses not to look like that.
In this way make-up transforms from body art to performance art - a performance none of even knew we were auditioning for simply by being born. And art that creates discrimination and self-loathing is the opposite of what art should be.
Saying all people are beautiful isn't radical or a lie. It means you've successfully deprogrammed and wised up to how much of what we consider "pretty" - or even "sexy" - is taught to us and not innate at all. Even things that do seem to be - for example, the preference we have for symmetry in faces - are far from insurmountable. You might not like a song the first time you hear it, but after you hear it a few more times you suddenly realize you like it after all. Just because attraction isn't instantaneous doesn't mean it's inferior.
There are endless genres of music and painting styles and ways to tell a story. It should be the same with people. Deciding off the bat that because someone doesn't fit preconceived notions of "good-looking" they must therefore be "bad-looking" is sheer laziness and nothing more.

Ushijima Wakatoshi SFW alphabet
alphabet template here
fluff I sfw I gn reader I hcs
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)
at first he's quite hesitant on showing affection, wondering if you're comfortable with him being that close to you. he starts off easy: holding hands, letting you rest on him... etc.
once he feels more comfortable with you, he starts placing his head in your lap and giving you little kisses here and there
his favourite forms of affection are: forehead/cheek kisses, back hugs, holding pinkies, and resting his head on your shoulder
when you’re not around he shows affection by talking to you to his closer teammates but subtly, he brings up your name once in a while and a teammate will tease "ooo somebody's in looove" and he starts blushing profusely, asking if they can go back to practice, but the thought of you never leaves
B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)
being best friends with ushijima seems very rare, he's pretty selective with letting people close enough to earn that title
with you it was unexpected, you weren't afraid or cautious of his stoic upfront. you sat next to him in class and tried to make conversation with him, making sure to include him in conversations and asking how he's doing once in a while. he lets his guard down a little and you guys get even closer, he even invites you over to help with some schoolwork and suddenly you guys are spending more time together outside of school
he's kind of hesitant to call you a best friend, but when he sees that you’re okay calling him yours, he adopts the same title
C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)
yes yes yes and yes
he is always behind you, resting your head on top of his. if not he'll be facing upwards, lying on his back, your head will be resting on his shoulder and he'll have his arm wrapped around your waist.
he's definitely 99% always the big spoon
but on the rare occasion he wants to be the little spoon, he has both his arms wrapped around your waist, with his head on your chest, your hand running through his hair while your legs are intertwined absolute bliss
D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)
hell yeah
he's a sucker for the domestic life, waking up with you in your sub-urban house, a train ride away from the city. making cakes with you in your green painted kitchen which took you way longer than it needed to bc you kept messing around
he can cook, oh my, he buys some cookbooks and you guys spend some time with each other
I feel like he wants kids, some mini him and you running around, if not he'll adopt some
him teaching his kids to play volleyball in the backyard, him brushing their teeth and reading them bedtime stories and them giving them a little kiss goodnight cuteness overload
E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)
definitely depends on the reason why you're breaking up, but in this scenario, let's say he hasn't been home enough and you guys feel like you're not with each other enough pain
he really dreads having to break up with you, but he knows you deserve more than someone who is barely home. he's not harsh about it, he sits you down at a time when you guys are both free and explains why, "maybe the time isn't right, right now"
even though he broke it off, he still thinks about it quite a lot, he really hopes that you guys will find your way back to each other one day even if he knows that it won't be possible bc right now you're happier with someone else :( i love angst
F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)
his volleyball career kinda gets in the way of him wanting to commit to you, but he wants to show you that you mean the world to him, so i think he proposes in his mid-late twenties
his proposal isn't really that over the top, but he takes you out first for a fancy dinner with the excuse 'can't i treat you once in a while'. it's quite dark outside and you guys are looking over the city, you turn around to ask him something and you see him down one knee lovely
G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)
he is very gentle... probably bc of his strict upbringing, but he makes sure not to hurt you in any way
he becomes so much more gentle with his words, careful of saying the wrong words because he can't stand the thought of losing you
physically, he tries to make sure not to accidentally knock into you bc this man is so big and if you get ill ushijima is doing anything in his power to get you better, he tries not to get sick in the process, but having you care for him doesn't seem like the worst idea
emotionally, he tries to support you, but he's not the greatest at dealing with emotions, but when supporting you he tries comforting you rather than trying to solve your problems
H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)
at the beginning of the relationship, i think his hugs are kind of stiff-ish, but once you guys get more comfortable he goes all in
he's such a good hugger. he doesn't do half-hugs, it's all of it or nothing, he engulfs you with his strong arms a little bit too tight but who needs air
if he feels extra clingy back hugs. he loves the feeling of having your figure pressing against his, sometimes his hands grip onto your waist and he'll sway you back and forth while humming to his favourite song
I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)
as I've mentioned before, you're the first one to say ily in the relationship, but he says it back straight after
i like to think this happens about 5/6 months into the relationship, just when you guys start getting really comfortable around each other
as for using the L-word, he doesn't really say it that often, he believes when something is overused it isn't as special. he only uses it when it needs to be said
J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)
he doesn't really get jealous easily bc he's kind of oblivious or chooses not to pay attention to it
but when he catches on to whatever's going on, his eyebrows furrow and he'll just give the stare, he'll come near you and put an arm around your waist and slyly try to join the conversation
he knows what he's doing and so does everyone else
the person you're talking to gets a bit intimidated and tries to end the conversation as quickly as possible
you'll try to tease him for his jealously and he'd just change the subject and starts blushing a little, if you try to bring it up later he'd be like 'huh what was that sorry i don't remember'
K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)
I'm not good with this type of stuff ahh
he's actually pretty good at kissing. he likes soft kisses and little pecks on the shoulder and forehead.
when he's rough or needy, he gets really handsy like hands cupping your cheeks, in your hair, hands pulling your waist in - just very intimate
M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)
lazy mornings bc who likes being productive all the time
he likes sleeping in on days he has nothing to do, so he’ll be behind you hugging your waist and his head resting on your back, you try to stand up so you can get breakfast done but he pulls you back and says 'come on, just a little more', you know that means another hour but you still get sucked back into his warm embrace
you end up falling asleep and wake up with noises coming from the kitchen. you walk in on him wearing just an apron and his pajama pants, dancing to the radio while making pancakes for breakfast
N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)
again lazy evening edition bc why not
he comes home early that day, brings home your favourite snacks and asks if you want to watch a movie with him
he grabs a few blankets from your room and you guys decide to watch 13 going on 30 one of my comfort movies
halfway through the movie, he places his head on your laps asking for you to play with his hair, he lies down and you throw some popcorn and skittles in his mouth every few minutes, you tried pouring water but he started choking and spat water all over your shirt
it gets pretty late and cold so he changes you into his hoodie and carries you over to the bedroom. you guys fall asleep to the hums of the city below
O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)
he's a very reserved person, and i think it's just the way he was raised, talking about feelings wasn't normal in his home growing up
i think with you it takes him some time to open up, he reveals a few things about him and his childhood here and there but nothing major
he doesn't talk about how he feels enough, so it kinda relies on you being able to notice a change in his behaviour which might I say seems extremely hard
i think if you start being more open to him, then he follows on
he gets more comfortable with his emotions around you first and then starts being more open to his team - just give him some time he gets there
P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)
oh he's so patient, so patient
it takes a LOT to anger him, i don't think you ever have or ever will see this man angry, tbh i don't think you would want to
if you ever lash out at him, he'd sit down and understand where you're coming from, he'd try to calm you down and give you a second to let it all out
Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing or do they kind of forget everything?)
he remembers everything, literally everything
you mentioned that you liked mangos yesterday, and boom you've got a lifetime supply in your kitchen /s
he keeps a little note in his notes app just making sure he doesn't forget anything, he has your favourite orders, skin/hair care products you use, and little stuff like your favourite show in there
he does this bc he loves how your eyes beam after realising he remembers the little details
R = Remember (What is their favourite moment in your relationship?)
this one hc is why this took so long, so I decided not to do bc my brain isn’t responding
S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)
ushijima isn't the overprotective type although he is protective
he doesn't care what you wear or how you present yourself, as long as you’re comfortable, you will have his full support
if he sees someone making you uncomfortable, he is always quick to jump in and say "you're making them uncomfortable can you please excuse yourself". if he sees a situation is making you feel uneasy he will take you and leave, to calm you down or to clear your mind, which ever one is the best choice in that moment
he doesn't feel the need to be protected, he believes that hes strong enough for the both of you sometimes he needs a little help so pls do step in
T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)
such a big try hard, he puts so much effort into dates, anniversaries, and even mundane everyday activities.
even far into your relationship he still pulls up at your door with a suit and a flower bouquet which he seems to never forget
he always wants everything to be perfect so you'll never forget
he enjoys surprising you with little gifts to remind you that he still cares. he seems like the type to buy you a promise ring, and oh my is it beautiful
U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)
this is hard bc in my eyes this man can't do any wrong, but its probably how he can't express his emotions very well
everyone gets in a bad mood once in a while, but for ushijima its different, the stress of volleyball gets to him and he just ends up shutting everyone out, including you. he was never taught how to properly talk abt how he feels so he just holds it in with never intending to let it out
if you try to ask him whats wrong then he just grunts and shrugs it off
V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)
he isn’t insecure for how he looks physically, he works out and maintains a healthy lifestyle, and he was blessed with that beautiful face of his *chefs' kiss
he's always hygienic (bare minimum), he cuts his hair regularly, keeps his hands nice and clean, with his nails well-trimmed
he likes to keep his appearance up and always looks like he should be on the front cover of a magazine but so effortlessly
bonus: he smells so good, he wears expensive cologne and zooweemama its so tasty, you'll hug him and never want to let go just because
W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)
he wouldn't necessarily feel incomplete with out you, he'd feel a bit empty
he forgets how much he misses you when he goes abroad for matches and he can't see you for a week straight. he makes sure to send videos and voice notes rather than texts so you can send some back. he video calls everyday, no matter the time difference just so he can see you in real time
if you guys take a break in the relationship, he finds his self drifting back into his stoic shell. he tries his best not to bc he knows how much he loves the person you've helped him become
X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)
doesn't know how to flirt hehe
he tries to use a smooth pick up line once in a while but they all end up with him in a flustered mess before he can even finish a sentence, i think we should leave the flirting to you
Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)
liars/dishonest people
he can't stand it when somebody lies to him, its agitating when someone he cares for feels the need to lie to him, it makes him feel like they don't trust him enough
Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habit of theirs?)
he's a quite a light sleeper and wakes up pretty easily. he also looks dead when he sleeps, for example most days he sleeps pretty early bc he's worn out and you come into the bedroom and see him lying down on his back, his chest isn't even moving like it should be, but you'll get into bed with him and his first instinct is to wrap his arms around you and give you a kiss
i think he sleep talks, omg just imagine ushijima whispering about the weirdest things in his dreams. you recorded him once and showed him when he woke up and he got a bit embarrassed and started laughing
Tumblr media
here's the hcs for mornings with ushi
this took me so long omg >o< I really hope I portrayed his character well bc he’s such a lovely person
make sure to take care of yourselves :)
reblogs are very much appreciated <3

LEONA, JADE, FLOYD, ROOK’s ↷
reaction when S/O gets jealous and protective
Tumblr media
notes: I notice us writers mostly write about—usually the canon male/female—being dominant and the other party is timid and shy, while I love that concept and idea since I’m a submissive bitch myself, I feel like we should get more S/O or reader who gets protective and goes grr
: gender-neutral reader!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
LEONA KINGSCHOLAR
So there’s this crazy bitch who’s all over Leona ever since he was fucking born
They’re from a neighboring country and have been obsessed with Leona when they first saw him (honestly same) and as much as Leona didn’t want to admit it felt like heaven to attend Night Raven College because they’re AWAY from him
Magift is a nightmare because it’s open for everyone from everywhere to attend so he had already expected them
He planned to ignore them and steers clear of them as usual but they were extra persistent today
If they’re a guy Leona would have no problem scaring them away with a growl and possible threats
If they’re a girl though, it’s not going to be easy for Leona since he was raised to treat females with respect but then again, he knows that she does not deserve it
He also knows that you’re seething with anger
Your crossed arms while shifting your weight from side to side showed your frustration and impatience for them to get off
At this point he’d try harder and uses more of his energy to deal with them (he was a little lazy before) and tell them to go away but they just kept clinging and clinging
Leona’s eyes widened when you shoved them away, hard but not hard enough to make them fall on the ground and scrape their knee, just enough to keep them away
Your own arms wrapped around his and you stuck close, head resting on his shoulder, nuzzling your nose against his neck or trail your fingers a little lower on his waist than usual, anything to send the message across as you stare boredly at the ever persistent troublesome person
“Piss off.”
Normally people would get embarrassed/awkward after this and they’d leave but if they’re still on about it, pull Leona in for a kiss
A long, deep and passionate kiss from you sends him off the edge as he grabs you, smirking slightly at your behavior and also at the outsider staring at the both of you furiously
Will never let you forget this because he teases you almost everyday about this
If you're naturally a timid and shy person it's gonna be hell for you, because Leona is going to tease you ten times more
"Hey remember that time when you-" You smacked his head, hard.
"I don't regret it though, they were too close and I don't like it." Your adorable pout and red blush from his teasings only made his grin wider, and his heart racing faster
Proud of his herbivore, 100/10, would definitely want to see you getting protective again

JADE LEECH
They shamelessly flirted with him in Mostro Lounge, right in front of you
Constantly asking for Jade's assistance, ordering more and more just to have Jade serve them and if he's not available, they'll throw a tantrum
Of course Jade know about boundaries, he'd never want to make his lover upset, but then again, he's also curious as to what you'll do
Will you sit there and watch? Pout and wait for them to finally go away when Mostro Lounge closes? Be extra clingy with him afterwards? Silently cursing them? Or will you choose the popular trope of getting back at him by being physically close to another person?
Whatever you chose, he sure did not expect you to have a smile on your face as you call out to him, you are sitting just two seats away from them on the stool, so it is fairly easy to catch his attention without you trying to desperately cut off the one-sided conversation
You did what they couldn't. Holding his hand loosely as you talked about something semi-private (?)
"Hey, Jade. Where did I put my clothes again? That cream colored one. I know it's in your room but is it on the bed or bathroom? Have you seen it? Gotta go check it later..." To indicate that you've been to his room, countless of times
"Ah! I think you left your jacket in my room. Be sure to take it back before you go back to your dorm, okay?"
While Jade watches you and reply with an amused expression
This got them clenching fists and gritting teeth, and Jade can't exactly ignore them when they call for him since they're a customer, even if he's enjoying this a lot
You'd also pull on your clothes, kind of like flapping them when you're hot—even though it's quite chilly in Mostro Lounge—just to show them the bite marks Jade left the day before
*Thought I'd put this out just in case anyone misunderstands, y'all didn't have sex lmao because Jade is under 18, but he does leave bite marks every now and then ;)
When he does get away from their conversation and goes to you, like with Leona, you'd linger your hands a little lower on his waist than usual, or brush the bite marks you left that escaped the covers of his shirt collar
Nevertheless, expect Jade shaking his head when Mostro Lounge finally closes and them finally gone, though he can't hide the smile on his face
"My, my, I never knew you'd get to this point to drive them away."
He will forever remember this moment and the act you've pulled, truly memorable

FLOYD LEECH
The basketball team is having a friendly match with another school and the other school's team happen to have a manager
And man were they PERSISTENT
Offering to refill NRC's water bottles too when they went to refill for their own school's
Of course you're thankful for their help and thought it was out of pure kindness, but when their fingers brush over Floyd's for a little too long to hand him his water bottle and stays longer with Floyd than with other basketball players you knew something was wrong
Are they hitting on Floyd???
Ace and Jamil picked up on it and glances over you, with Ace shit talking about them and "If they're gonna do it, at least try to do it right." while criticizing their lame flirting skills and Jamil disapproving of their actions when Floyd clearly has a lover
Even if they're from another school, saying you didn't know is a lame excuse, not with how painfully different Floyd is with you than with others, it was obvious you two are together
Floyd, of course, is not dumb and oblivious and he is beyond annoyed at their constant touches and babblings he had no intention to listen to
Before Floyd could threaten to squeeze them to death, you're wrapping arms around his figure and called them out on their antics
"Don't you have your own team to attend to? Stop flirting with my boyfriend, he's not interested, take a sign."
Ace spit out his water and choked (yes he laughed)
Poor student scurried back to their own team's side and stayed there, as they should
Floyd would not care about attention as he picked you up in his arms, hugging you tightly and nuzzling close to you
"Shrimpyyy~! I love this side of you! Why haven't I seen it before?"
He probably already forgot about that student's existence as he only thinks of your jealous gazes and protective arms around him
Expect him to ask you to act like that again randomly, being all brave and calling people out, he loves this side of you!
Tumblr media
ROOK HUNT
Rook is a social butterfly and will talk to anyone in anywhere
Much like Jade, he never intended to hurt his lover and upset them, but he's itching to know what you'll do. He has extremely good eyesight and knew you were close by, listening in to their conversation, possibly with a frown
Ah, a frown on your lips. That's not a sight he'd want to see! But the urge to reveal what kind of moves you'd make is stronger, so he refrained from walking away and chatted on
A smile played on his lips as he watches you stomp over, not sparing a glance to the other person as you locked your arms around his waist, tightly, then began to attempt to lift him up
...it didn't work
You didn't have enough strength so instead of lifting him over your shoulder (like what Rook usually do) you grabbed his gloves hand and dragged him away
Rook was certainly surprised, a big grin on his face as he laughed his heart out, bidding goodbye to the random student who had their mouth wide open
This only made you tug on his arm harder as an annoyed grunt and groan escaped you
When you looked back to them and sent a glare, that's when he lost it
He's sure he fell in love with you even more
When the two of you are alone he'd have your cheeks in his hands, staring at you lovingly, your squishy cheeks, furrowed brows and pouting lips are just too cute for him!
He will assure you that he will never do this again not telling you he was doing it on purpose to see what you'll do because you'll probably hate him his sweet words would surely calm you down
If you ever see Rook suddenly having a smile on his lips, you know that he's thinking about this incident again, and it freaks Vil out

Here you go and ope you enjoy!
Dabi x GN reader Curse words, no smut WARNING: YANDERE THEMES Word count: 904
Tumblr media
“Fuckin’ move” Dabi hissed coming behind you in the hallway, barging you into the wall as he passed, you winced when you were pushed into the wall, watching him walk ahead of you, smirking over his shoulder at you, God you wanted to slap that big dumb grin off his fucking face.
Your quirk was immunity to other quirks, maybe the only reason you weren’t as terrified of Dabi as everyone else who met him. He couldn’t burn you alive, but he could hurt you with his bare hands, you both seemed to have it in for one another since day one. Always competing to prove just how important you were to the league. Everyone knew Dabi wasn’t a big fan of Shigaraki, he just always had to show you up in front of him.
Following after the patchwork piece of shit you entered the bar seeing everyone busy doing various things, you paid no mind, suddenly not in the mood to socialize with anyone. Put into a foul mood by the pyromaniac. You scowled at him from across the room, seeing him getting a whisky at the bar. Such an asshole, you wished you had a better quirk so you could put him in his place.
“Oi” Shigaraki called to get your attention, you reluctantly turned your glare from Dabi and quickly changed your expression to neutral as you approached the boss.
“Yeah boss?”
Shigaraki slumped in the plush armchair and gestured you to sit across from him which you did without complaint, you might be immune to his quirk but he was still someone you didn’t want to mess with, you had no idea how deep his connections went. You sat on the edge of the chair, hands on your knees as you waited for him. He set down his switch to give you his full attention.
“You look the least like a psycho out of all the others, so I need you to do some research for me, need you to tail one of the brats from UA” he started and carefully pulled his cell phone out, navigating it with pinkies lifted in the air.
You hated being given such mundane jobs but between you and Toga who also looked reasonably normal you weren’t a hairs width away from snapping and causing a scene. At least it made you feel useful. He slid the phone across the table to you showing you.
“I wouldn’t trust them with something like this” Oh for fuck sake.. Your attention snapped to Dabi who stood there, looming over you like some gross creep on a crowded train, that same smirk on his face, sipping his drink casually with a hand on his hip, he cocked his head to one side when you noticeably tensed up at his presence.
“They are the best for the job” Shigaraki sighed, rubbing his temples, this shit again.
“That kid would wallop their ass, they might as well be quirkless since a punch or a knife to the gut would take them out the game” Dabi said, so casual with absolutely trashing you in front of your boss “Anyone would be better for the job.”
That was it, no way were you going to be torn down in front of the blue haired male, not by this dickhead, not by anyone. You stood up and got in Dabi’s face, as much as you could with how tall the flame user was. Your hands balled into fists, your chests almost touching, you were trying your best to get him to stand down, but the lazy smirk on his face was driving you insane.
“What was that Frankenstein?” You tried to keep your voice level as you hissed between grit teeth.
“Are you hard of hearing as well as useless?” He laughed, so airy and carefree as he set down his glass on the table, standing up fully now, no slouch in his posture. He was impressed that you didn’t back down, he was used to people shitting themselves at his presence.
“Fuckin’ prick!” That was it, you leaned back to get momentum to slap that stupid look off his face, the air in the bar had heated up, Dabi knew his quirk was pointless against you, but he was so used to calling for it at a moment’s notice.
“Control your anger or you’ll have me to worry about.” You were pushed apart by Shigaraki, he looked pissed off, the scowl on his face, the look in his red eyes as he pushed you apart until you and Dabi stepped back, being interrupted from your confrontation, the pale man between you both, giving you a nasty look each.
“You are villains not children, I suggest you both get out of my sight and cool down” He warned. You nodded your head, unclenching your fists and relaxing your tense posture. Dabi just chuckled, shrugging his shoulders and putting his hands up in defense.
“Sorry, was all a little fun right?” Dabi looked over at you, daring you to say otherwise.
“Yeah, fun”
Shigaraki looked between you once more, muttering under his breath before taking his seat, picking up his switch to carry on his game. You and Dabi stared at one another before you excused yourself. “I’m sure we will have lots more fun one day” he said softly so only you could hear as you passed him on your way out.

Hoodie Weather | Nishinoya Yuu
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
SYNOPSIS: You find a lost hoodie.
READER: gender neutral
WORDS: 1452
WRITTEN: 03/14/2021
Tumblr media
It was especially cold that morning. Nishinoya was in a rush and didn't have time to put his hoodie on. He woke up late for school as usual and was rushing to get to Karasuno.
He rushed to slide his card through the machine to enter the subway. His hoodie was laying on top of the school bag he held in his hand.
On the other side of the subway's entrance, you were running down the stairs. You rushed onto the train just as the doors were about to close.
You attended a different school, but the subway went to the station near your school. You stood up, holding onto the railing tightly, sighing at how crowded it was.
The train stopped to let some passengers off, and you noticed a hoodie laying on the floor. You looked up to see the fluttering of a black uniform and dyed hair before the doors closed. The uniform seemed like a male uniform.
You crouched down to pick it up, stumbling to get up when the train jostled to start. You waited for your stop as usual, then got off and looked around while holding the hoodie in your hand.
The weather was cold. You hoped the student would be okay without their hoodie. You stared at the bundled hoodie in your hand before sighing and walking the opposite way.
You were dreading school. You didn't feel like going to school. You swung your arm back and forth. The hoodie slightly unbundled and slapped against the wind.
Tumblr media
"Aren't you cold, Noya?" Tanaka asked.
Nishinoya did notice a slight chill throughout the school day, but he didn't think much of it because of the school's heating system.
"I actually am," Nishinoya muttered. "I swear I brought my hoodie with me."
"The white one?" Tanaka asked.
Nishinoya nodded.
"You love that hoodie so much, it's like your baby blanket."
Nishinoya frowned. "It's so warm and comfortable. I think I left it on the subway."
He sighed and leaned back on his chair, then rubbed his face. Tanaka scooted his chair next to Nishinoya and wrapped an arm around him.
"So what are you going to do? Are you going to try to find your hoodie?" Tanaka asked. "It's Friday, dude, so there's two days until school starts again."
"I'll have to hope it's still there," Nishinoya replied.
"Man, that sucks. You may have to buy a new one."
"But I don't want a new one," he whined. "I want that one. Have some faith in me finding it."
"Tons of people get on that subway throughout the week. I would have stolen it if I saw it," Tanaka retorted.
"You suck."
"Your mom sucks."
"Don't talk about what my mom sucks."
Tumblr media
"Is that your boyfriend's hoodie, Y/N?" your friend asked.
You shook your head. "That's funny, but no. I picked it up on the subway. I was going to return to the person who dropped it, but he left before I could. I saw part of his uniform though."
"Are you going to keep it?"
"No. Wouldn't it be awkward if I was wearing it and he saw me? I'd be so embarrassed," you explained.
Your friend laughed. "Only you would overthink things like that."
You sighed. "I'll admit overthinking can be bad, but it can be good sometimes. On tests, it's horrible, but in everyday scenarios, it can come in handy."
"How?"
"Well, what if you thought you forgot your lunch, but you were too lazy to check, so you decide to leave the house without? So you're on your way to school already, but you start to get antsy with the thought of not eating during lunch while everyone else is eating. You end up checking inside your bag for your lunch, and it's not there. You go back home, find it's waiting for you on the counter, then you finally go to school," you ranted without pausing.
You were breathing heavily while your friend stared at you with her mouth open.
"The fact that you just thought of that example is what shocks me the most. But yeah, I see your point."
You snapped your fingers like a poet. "Thank you. So I'm going to try to find the guy who lost his hoodie, but I only know what his uniform looks like. I don't know what he looks like."
"Well, that'll be hard. It's the weekend tomorrow, so even if he does use the subway again, he won't be wearing his uniform."
You sighed. "I guess I'll just wait for Monday."
You didn't have to return the hoodie, but you were taught by your parents to return things to its owners.
Once you got home, you laid the hoodie down on your desk and stared at it.
"You're one small hoodie," you muttered. "The guy wearing you must be small."
As if the hoodie was calling to you, you reached out and grabbed it, unfolding the hoodie to put it on.
The sleeves were much longer than you thought they would be, but the torso seemed to fit fine. You hesitantly brought the sleeve of the hoodie to your nose and sniffed it.
It oddly smelled like the orange essential oil your mother liked to put around the house to make it smell good.
You decided to take it off before anything got weirder. You neatly folded it again and set it back on your desk.
You really hoped you'd be able to give it back to the right person and not a stranger.
Tumblr media
It was Monday morning.
You woke up early today because you were determined to return the hoodie to its owner.
You stood up on your toes to search through the crowd of people at the station. You were trying to find the uniform of the student, even though you didn't know his face or his name.
You were ready to give up and try again, but then you saw his uniform leaving the station on the other side.
You checked the time on your watch. You would be a few minutes late to school, but you decided that returning the hoodie was more important than first period.
You ran after him, weaving through the crowd of people.
"Um - excuse me!" you shouted. "Excuse me! The shortie in the black uniform!"
"Who are you calling—"
His brain fired blanks when he saw how pretty you were. He couldn't believe someone as attractive as you was talking to him. He looked around and pointed to himself.
"Me?"
"Uh... Yes, you," you answered as you stopped in front of him, a few feet away.
Unlike Nishinoya who was breathing normally, you were huffing from the run. There was fog around your face as you exhaled and inhaled. You extended your arm out with the hoodie in your hand.
"I think this belongs to you," you said.
Nishinoya looked back and forth from the hoodie to your face. He walked closer to you and slowly grabbed his hoodie.
"Hey, thanks!" he exclaimed, feeling a huge weight off his shoulders. "I've been looking for this."
You softly smiled. "Yeah, I had a feeling. I should...go to school now. Um—it was nice meeting you."
Nishinoya nodded.
You began to turn around, but he grabbed your wrist. Not expecting that, you fell off balance and staggered back.
Your back pressed against his chest as he caught you. The two of you looked at each other. Your faces were only centimeters apart from each other. The two of you were spotting similar blushes.
"Yes?" you whispered.
"Um—Y-You didn't bring a jacket today. It's pretty cold. You should borrow this for today and return it to me another day," Nishinoya said.
"But how will I find you?" you asked.
"We could...exchange numbers?" he asked. "Only if you want to," he added.
His eyes darted around nervously. You laughed a bit and nodded.
"I'd like that."
"Really?" he asked. "All right!"
"Maybe you could let me go first," you suggested.
"O-Oh, s-sorry!"
He quickly let go of you and stepped away, rubbing his neck nervously. You smiled and took out a piece of paper and a pen from your school bag. You leaned in and pressed the paper against his chest. He stiffened from how close you were. You wrote down your number on the paper, then tucked it into his pocket.
"I'll see you later?" you questioned.
"Uh-huh," he absentmindedly answered.
You smiled and waved goodbye to him as you jogged in the direction of your school. Nishinoya blinked at the spot you once stood at and took your number out from his pocket.
"Y/N, huh?" He grinned. "Tanaka's never gonna believe this!"

since you were little, akira was always there. mom and dad had jobs, which meant they were away from dusk till dawn. your brother walked you to school, picked you up, made dinner every day until you were big enough to help him. he hated doing those stuff, if he could've been lazy, he would've, but his responsibility to you was bigger. as you grew up, the one year difference started to become less and less noticable, then it wasn't him getting up earlier to make breakfast, it was you waking him up or he'd be late for school. you started to realize that your brother wasn't the knight in shining armor you thought he was, he was a normal school boy, not that it was a bad thing, but to wake up from your childish world was certainly a bummer. when akira got into middle school, he chose the one closer to your elementary school. to your surprise, a certain club activity had caught his eye, which lead to you waiting on the bleachers most days, refusing to go home alone. you liked spending time with him.
soon, you started taking part in their trainings, picking up balls, delivering water, learning everything from watching. the coach had took you in as an apprentice, much to akira's surprise. once you got to middle school, you were officially the team's manager. all akira's friends, if you could call them that, were your friends too. except for one. the wonder setter, kageyama tobio, avoided conversation with you at all costs, even if you wanted to give him some advice on their plays, or hand him a towel after practice. your brother didn't bothered with those small things, but it was exasperating to you.
"do you know if kageyama-kun has problems at home?" kindaichi had accompanied the kunimi siblings on their way home, with the excuse of having a project to do with akira. you, right between of them, gained weird looks from both.
"i don't think so" aswered kindaichi, kunimi couldn't care less about his troubles at home, instead, he caught on a detail.
"since when he's kageyama-kun?"
"he has always been kageyama-kun"
"no, only coach calls him that" to your silence, he scrunched his nose in a a disgusted mock "maybe that's why he doesn't like you"
"he doesn't like me!?" the two boys laughed at your reaction, there were few people allowed to hear akira's laugh, both you and kindaichi were glad to be one of them.
that conversation stuck in your brain through the day, and the one after, even at practice. you never gave it much thought to it, but now you realized how everyone showed kageyama a funny amount of respect, your classmates on the very edge of calling him '-sama'. if that is what he's used to, no wonder he didn't like you. your mind had gone through a complete rollercoaster, triggered by coach asking you to deliver a few papers to your upperclassman. when you finally divised him, sitting alone in his homeroom, you gulped nervously.
"um, hey, uh, coach asked me to give you this, so, there it is... kageyama-san" be aware, kageyama instantly knew something was bothering you. despite his dark aura, you always treated him like an equal, not being affraid of talking to him or call him less formal honorifics. he liked that, a lot. you, in your own way, made him feel normal.
as you handed him the papers with new game strategies, your eyes met his. your whole body paralyzed, being unable to let go of the pieces both of you were grabbing.
"don't call me that" his mouth spoke by itself, followed by a subtle blush on his cheeks.
"what?" now you were flustered, and your unconscious aggressive response made kageyama feel more nervous than he already was.
"well, y-you used to call me, uh, kageyama-kun, and n–"
"oh! i thought– nevermind, it's not important, kageyama-kun".
tobio had to pinch his arm to erase the smile on his face the rest of the day.
*.✧☆゚.*・。✧*⊰⊹ฺ
the team had grown apart, everyone could see that. more than once you argued with the coach, who stated that as long as they won, nothing else mattered. you disagreed. akira usually spoke with kindaichi about how tired they were of keeping up with "the king in the court", how they called kageyama, sicked by his selfish way of playing. they weren't wrong, kageyama lived up to his reputation, but nobody tried to help him either.
"he's fourteen! he needs help and you should give it to him! stop being a lousy coach and do something! you were there for oikawa senpai, be there for kageyama!" the coach was fond of you, but he was done with your constant yelling and reprimanding.
"if you don't like how i do things, you're welcome to leave" and you did. you left the team you loved as a family, shoving the feeling of impotence down your throat.
that was nothing compared to your fight with your brother hours after coach gave them the news, one of the few times he actually worried and got involved in your doings.
"the only way for you to go to aoba jōsai is through a scholarship! a scholarship which coach decides who recommend or not!" your house was filled with screams, an unusual situation in the kunimi household.
"i can't stand by when you're basically bullying kageyama and coach lets you!"
"stop being dumb and don't risk your future because of that jerk!"
"you're more of a jerk than he is, akira!"
it ended with you ignoring your brother for almost a week, and he doing the same. if there was one thing he was, besides lazy, was prideful. and you weren't behind in that topic.
kageyama, who had a habit of watching you through the day, could see that too. it was none of his business, he knew that, but you seemed so upset...
"hey, uh, kunimi-chan" he sat beside you during lunch break, he was aware that you had lunch in the yard and not in the cafeteria, looking for a quieter place.
"call me y/n, please" despite being angry at the world, you did your best to treat him nicely. he needed someone nice in his life.
"y/n" he muttered, more to himself than to you "i'm, i noticed that... you're upset, i wanted to make sure you are okay" he was so innocently sweet, you thought, you couldn't escape a smile.
"it's been a rough week" you answered, not wanting to say why you fought coach and akira.
"i know a thing or two about rough weeks" so it did bother him what his teammates were doing. a small feeling of relief went through your body, you weren't fighting a lost cause. both stayed silence for a few minutes, before you spoke.
"i'm sorry" he looked at you, confused "for akira and kindaichi". out of nowhere, he laughed, and your heart skipped a beat.
"you don't have to apologize for what your brother does, it's not your fault he's not good enough to keep up with me". there it was, the usual kageyama. despite of the sour flavor of hearing someone talk down on your idiot brother, you giggled, his honesty was quite entertaining.
"i meant... nothing, it's fine" that was the longest conversation kageyama had had with anyone outside of the court in a long time "i have to go" it was true, you were meeting a teacher for extra credit, he looked at you walking away, and blushed when you turned around catching him. "thanks for caring" and with that, you left.
he didn't know what it meant the marathon his heart was running, or his sweaty hands, or that smile glued on his face. he hoped it was something good.
*.✧☆゚.*・。✧*⊰⊹ฺ
the third years were finally graduating, yūtarō couldn't shut up about it. akira was kind enough, a rare act on your brother, to let him talk all he wanted. last day of school, but kageyama was nowhere around, making hard your wish to congratulate him. looking through the hallways on every floor, you heard a conversation between two girls.
"what is the volleyball team going to do without their stars now?" one teased.
"don't be silly, after their last game, i doubt they can play together anymore" you knew they lost their last game, but akira said it was nothing. curiosity burning in your lungs, you had to ask the girls what they were talking about. "the spikers left the setter by himself, the wouldn't hit any ball, like, on purpose".
oh you were going to kill akira, he had gone to far. but most importantly, you had to find kageyama. thirty minutes later, you found him sitting in a stair just as the last bell rang. he was officially a high schooler now. to see him, sitting alone, hoping anybody would find him, broke your heart into tiny pieces.
"congratulations, kageyama senpai" you spoke taking a place by his side. he wasn't his usual self with you.
"you don't have to" he was sulking hard.
"but i want to" his eyes opened wide when your two arms wrapped his shoulders into a warm hug. no one outside his family ever hug him. he stayed there, enjoying the closeness while trying to avoid the fact that a girl, no, you were hugging him. "what highschool are you going?" kageyama's hope went too far up, hoping to see you at his new highschool someday.
"karasuno".
"i guess i'll see you there, then".

Cat's Bride Chapter One.
Tohru Honda always heard her classmates and cousin talking about the game Zodiac Lover. She was always more fascinated by the talk of a supposed impossible route in the game that broke everything if you tried to go down it. But she never played it.
Yet, when she dies in a freak traffic accident, she finds herself in the world of the game. She learns how to survive, and then she meets the one known as 'the most cursed of all'. And this was the one route in the game that she was the only person to take.
******
The prison was a dark and damp place.
She let out a shuddering sigh as she descended the staircase underground. She didn't care for how dirty it was, or the dampness that seemed to seep into her bones whenever she stayed down there too long. But she kept coming back every day because of the one prisoner held there, one who was said to be too dangerous for the outside world and needed to be kept far away from everyone.
She stumbled on the last step, catching herself before she hit the stone floor. Her eyes began to adjust to the dim light, and they landed on the young man in a cage before her. He lifted his head, his dull eyes brightening upon seeing her and he sat upright.
"You're back," he breathed.
"I always come back. Didn't I promise that?"
"Y-yeah, but a lot of people promise things and don't follow through." He turned away from her, and even in the dim lamplight she could see a blush on his cheeks.
He's so cute.
"Well, why'd you come? I already ate today, and cleaning's pointless."
"I came to spend time with you." She sat with her back against the cage. Vaguely, she heard him moving to put his back against hers as much as he could through the bars.
"You didn't have to come. I'd be fine on my own."
"But then you'd be lonely, and I'd be sad." He mumbled something under his breath.
"Do you… feel sorry for me? Is it pity?"
"It's hard not to pity someone who's living in a cage. But that's not why I keep coming back." She smiled even though she knew he couldn't see it. "You're kind, Kyo, whether you know it or not. You aren't a monster or a creature. You're a person, and one day… you'll walk out of here. And I'll be right beside you when it happens."
"Tohru…" His voice was breaking. She slipped a hand through the bars and his fingers linked with hers. Despite the chill, his hands were warm and she felt much less tired than she had when she'd made the journey down here.
They were silent for a moment.
"…I love you." His voice was almost inaudible, but she heard it.
"…I love you, too." She could feel his hand tighten around hers and her heart ached. This wasn't his fault. He shouldn't have been down there.
But he was the Cat, and to the Somas, that made him guilty.
They sat there, just being in each other's presence, not knowing how much time was passing. Eventually, he pulled his hand away.
"You should get back to the damn Dog's house," he said hoarsely, as if he were holding back tears. "They'll notice if you're gone too long."
"I'll come back." They turned to face each other and Kyo leaned forward. She followed suit, and their lips met between the bars.
I will come back. I had to come from another world to meet you, and I'm not letting you go. Not now, and not until there's no possible way for me to stand beside you.
She stood up and started walking towards the stairs. Before she reached the top, she cast one last longing look towards him. His eyes were on her, full of the same desire to be near her.
Then she was out in the moonlight, alone again.
Tohru Honda was used to being alone.
She'd lost her parents in an accident when she was in her first year of high school, and her grandfather had passed not long after. She'd been left to move in with her Aunt Yuna and cousins Kaori and Goro, none of whom were particularly fond of her. So she'd been left alone going through high school. She hadn't had any close friends, only being acquaintances with most of her classmates.
Back then, she'd tried her best to go along to get along. And on that note, many of her classmates had been obsessed with an otome called Zodiac Lover. She often listened to their conversations, and bits and pieces of the game caught her interest. Though it wasn't enough to get her to actually play it, it was fun to hear them all be so excited over people who didn't even really exist.
More than anything about the game, she was interested in an apparent glitched route within it. There was a character who, at first glance, appeared to be the tenth route in the game; however, whenever a player attempted to go down said route, the game would glitch and break until you restarted it. Then things would go back to normal. Kaori played it, too, and she complained that the developer needed to patch it out (whatever that meant) rather than leave it in. Rumors abounded as to the identity of this character, but Tohru graduated high school and moved out of her aunt's house and that was the last she ever heard of the game.
Then, one day, she was on her way to work.
It wasn't a normal day. Part of her wished she'd taken the day off, but rent would be due soon and she needed all the hours she could get. It marked five years since her parents had died in that accident, a train derailment that had claimed the lives of so many others. She'd go visit their graves after her shift, and then go see her grandfather's.
Would they be proud of me?
The rain poured down around her, making her feel sleepy and wish she'd stayed home even more.
She was so lost in her thoughts she didn't hear the screeching tires or the screaming of people telling her to get out of the way until it was too late. The headlights shone in her eyes and she squeezed them shut out of reflex. The pain was immediate as she flew through the air and hit the ground. She knew before anybody started tending to her that this was it. She was dying. Tohru Honda was going to be dead at the age of twenty without anyone to truly mourn her passing.
At the very least, she'd see her parents and grandfather again soon.
Y̴͚̺͊o̵̲͉͐͝ŭ̸͚.̸̜̈͝
…me?
Y̸̥̓̚o̴̥͋͜u̵͙͝'̷̯̪͘r̷͖̝͐ȩ̴͝͝ ̶̦̈́͋ť̷̺̬ȟ̵͎͊ȅ̵̹͌ ̵̢͐̌o̵̡̬͠n̵͉̎͛ͅe̵̹͓͂.̴͎͆͜
S̸͚͝a̷̗v̷̢̔e̷͉̎ ̵̻ḥ̵̇i̶̘͂m̴͕̔.̴̮͌
Save him!
Who are you?
He needs you. You need to find him before it's too late.
Who? Who needs me?
The most cursed of them all.
Tohru gasped as she opened her eyes.
To her shock, she was no longer lying in a puddle on the street. Instead she was kneeling in the hallway of a house of some kind. She certainly didn't recognize it… nor did she recognize the clothes she was wearing. Gone was her work uniform, and in its place was some kind of old-fashioned kimono. Like she was a maid in one of those awful dramas her aunt had watched near-religiously every day that she could remember.
"Honda!"
She jumped at the sudden yell of her last name and looked to see another woman in a matching uniform. The woman was older with graying streaks in her honey-brown hair, and she was clearly not pleased with Tohru.
"S-sorry!" Tohru gasped. "I'm so sorry!"
"Sorry won't get this place cleaned! The master's coming home today, and this house needs to be spotless before he does!"
"Y-yes, ma'am."
"Honestly, I don't know why the Somas even hired you. Lazy, good-for-nothing girl…"
Tohru felt her heart racing.
She'd never heard of the Somas before. They certainly weren't her employers. What was…?
Soma.
The name did ring out as familiar in her head. She tried her best to remember, and that was when she could see the name written on the screen of her cousin's tablet as she played out a game. And this same uniform, on a character in that same game that had enraptured so many girls her age.
She didn't want to believe it. But there was only one way to be sure.
Taking a deep breath, she smacked her cheeks in an effort to wake herself up. It didn't work. She was still there. Her eyes went to the bucket and rag before her, and to the dirty floor. Well, if she was stuck here, she might as well do something that was at least mildly familiar. She got to work, scrubbing the floor like she did back home and before too long it was as spotless as her apparent superior had wanted. The older woman returned and nodded.
"Good. I see you just need a bit of encouragement."
"Yes, ma'am. I promise I won't slack off again." It was just like dealing with her boss at work. Then again, this woman was her boss now.
"Good girl. Don't forget to wash up before you make the master's dinner. He's having a guest tonight." The woman gestured down the hall towards what was most definitely a kitchen.
Tohru nodded in confirmation and stood up, taking the bucket with her. She glanced down and realized that while her clothes and location had changed, her face was the same. How was this possible? She couldn't remember if there was ever a character like this in the actual game. Kaori would know, but Kaori wasn't there.
She let out a sigh and headed towards where her boss had pointed. The kitchen was largely empty, save for the ingredients, and she felt that sense of familiarity she had while cleaning. This was something else she could do. Cooking was one of her favorite ways to pass the time, and she hadn't cooked for someone else since she'd moved out of her aunt's house. So rather than dread or confusion, she felt excited.
I have to make the most of this until I find out what's going on.
Save him.
That voice again. The one that had spoken when she was struck by the car. Who did she need to save? Who were they talking about?
She shook her head. Right now, she had to cook dinner for the house's master and his guest, whoever they might be.
She rolled up her sleeves and got to work chopping vegetables. Everything was so similar to back home that it was startling. Sure, the tools were a little less sophisticated but they did the jobs they needed to do. And even though she'd never worked with a stove or oven like the ones they had here, she already knew that those kinds of things tended to do what they wanted depending on age or use, so she knew to check them often to make sure nothing burned and everything cooked properly.
"Tohru!"
She turned around to see another young woman in a maid's uniform entering the kitchen. The newcomer had golden blonde hair and she was taller than most of the people Tohru had ever known.
"Hi!" Tohru greeted her.
"Man, Hamasaki put you on this by yourself again? You've got to stop being such a pushover."
"I know, but… cooking's so easy! And it's fun!"
"If you say so. I just came to see if you needed a hand."
"I won't say no to some help! Could you put those veggies in the pot, please?"
"No problem."
Tohru suddenly felt awful. Obviously this girl was her friend, but she didn't even know her name! How terrible must she look to this person?
"Um… this is going to sound really dumb, but… who are you?"
"Jeez, cleaning duty's gotten to you. I'm Arisa Uotani. We've been friends since we got here?"
"Right! Sorry, Uo-chan!" The name slipped out so easily, as if she'd been calling the other girl that for years.
"It's all right. Hanajima and I know how spacey you get."
Spacey? Then… this Tohru Honda really  is  me?!
"So, er, do you know anything about the master's guest?"
"Not much. He's supposed to be a member of the main family, just like Shigure. All I know is he's supposed to be a real prince of a character."
"Oh, really? Well, thank you for your help. I've got it from here, if Hamasaki has anything else she needed you to do…?"
"Yeah, thanks. I'll see you later."
Shigure's the master of the house. I think he was Kaori's favorite route in the game. But a prince… I know who it is. Nobody would stop talking about him in school. It's Yuki. It's got to be.
There was no doubt in her mind now. She was in the world of Zodiac Lover, and as it stood, she had no way out.

No. 1
Requested by: @mirukobecomingbothered
I might have gotten carried away with the headcanon, I'm sorry! 🥺🥺 I added a few twists of my own and I hope it reached your expectations. I hope you like it! ♥️♥️♥️
Pairings: Hitoshi Shinsou x reader, Katsuki Bakugou x reader
Status: Unedited
Genre: Fluff with a tiny weeny bit of angst.
Tumblr media
Quick Background:
An outcast because of a 'villainous' quirk? Check.
Do you have friends? Not sure if you can call them your friends when they are all blithering idiots who want to mess with the spirits.
Does everyone think that you will be a villain someday? Every time.
Is everyone afraid of you because you look like you've been dead for the past five years but still walking above ground? Absolutely!
When do people see your cat do they automatically think that you are a witch? Yes, but more like a demon in disguise.
You shrugged them off, your quirk might be on the freaky and terrifying side but it is powerful.
Contrary to popular belief, ghosts are nice, most of the time. Maybe a bit clingy and attention seeker towards you since you are the only one who can see and hear them.
They are a nice company to be around. Most of them.
There was a time you used to hate your quirk, there never seems to be a privacy when you see those supernatural things.
You see things you wish you couldn't, things that can go beyond your imagination.
Everyone thinks the worst in you, and there are days when they get to you.
When that happens, the ghosts always have your back.
You try your best to prove them wrong, and when you got into UA and placed top 5 in the sports festival, some perspective changed, and some called you a freak.
Though they are all wimps since they can't say it directly in your face or around your friends, especially your boyfriend.
Lord knows what'll happen when someone talks shit about you around them.
They probably met Jesus soon after.
Shinsou Hitoshi
Tumblr media
Straight off the bat, your favourite date, past time, and other couple activities are sleeping.
Him catching up on his well-deserved sleep and you calm your mind from everything.
Nothing in between.
Naps in the couch, beside the window, your rooms, maybe beside the window in the common room after stargazing.
You have to pry this headcanon from my cold dead hands.
This sleepy boi understands the pain and suffering you go through the best, especially since he's been there.
Both of you start as acquaintances.
You met him when your cat decided to give you a heart attack by running off to who knows where and not coming back for h o u r s.
It freaked you out since staying out late is unlikely of your lazy ass cat.
Despite your fatigue from training, you rushed outside to find them.
You didn't have to look for too long, you found them at the park accompanied by an Einstein inspired purple-haired guy with a UA uniform.
You let out a breath of relief, it didn't last long as anger bubbled up in your chest.
Yelling out their name that startled not only your cat and the guy, but the rest of the people at the park as well.
Shinso stared at you scolding your cat whilst bringing them in your arms.
Amused and curious at the same time.
Thinking that you took that TikTok meme "I'm alive but I'm dead" a little too far.
A chuckle that left his lips and your glare started a long interesting talk.
Both of you started eating lunch together at school with the Dekusquad.
A few teasing looks from Uraraka when he sat down beside you and greeted you before anyone else.
They started inviting him to your hangouts outside of the school and study dates.
It happened almost every day once he transferred from class 1-A.
A month after that Uraraka and Kaminari started teasing the both of you.
It confused you when they made a big deal about you and Shinsou spending more time with each other than the rest of the class.
It only confused you further when Shinsou started blushing every time you look at him or even go anywhere near him.
He finally confessed to you when both of you got stuck in the closet playing 7 Minutes In Heaven.
It was hard to listen to him because of the endless teasing of your ghost friends.
They approved of him the moment he talked and looked at you like a normal human being.
Shinsou as a friend was protective of you, knowing all of the nasty looks and what people say about you because of something uncontrollable.
And now that you're his girlfriend? Oh boy, haters can run but they can't hide.
He is the most chill person you will ever meet.
But once you decided to talk shit about his girl, just pray my dude.
Or beg for mercy.
If they are one in a million lucky ones, it might work.
But they're not so.
Not even Aizawa can stop him, cause he will turn blind eye.
Nobody talks shit to any of his children students and stay alive to tell the tale.
The both of you are his prodigies, they know nothing of the hard work you both put in your training with him.
You and your boyfriend are the best in stealth missions and gathering information.
You use your friends to gather information undetectable and Shinsou tricking the villains to brainwash them.
In short, you guys are the power couple of Class 1-A and everyone agrees.
A force to be reckoned with.
Besides, no one can pull off the cosplay of Morticia and Gomez Addams better than both of you can.
You rely on each other when times get rough and needed reassurance.
Being each other's rock to hold on and find comfort in.
Shinsou will wrap his arms around you as you spill everything to him.
Reassuring you that you are his hero, muttering sweet things in your ear, stroking your hair to calm you down, and humming you to sleep.
He knows what it feels like to hate something that is apart of you.
And he tries his best to make you see the best in the worst you think of yourself.
Everything about you is beautiful, nothing that is apart of you is worth hating.
Honestly, you couldn't wish for anyone better to be your significant other.
They can call you anything they want, but you will always be an angel in his eyes.
All of them can keep talking, and he finds great pleasure once they see your true power and find themselves speechless.
"That's my girl."
Bakugou Katsuki:
Tumblr media
Not gonna lie, he will probably think that you are a zombie or somewhat related to them.
From the moment you walked through the door, slouched back, droopy red eyes, panda-like eye bags underneath, paper white skin that is unhealthy to look at, he was certain that you are going to collapse at any given moment.
He scoffed, wondering how the hell you managed to get into UA, let alone the Hero class.
Were you even in the right class or are you just that tired to not see that huge ass sign at the door?
Either way, he didn't care.
So long as you don't stand in his way from being the best, which is highly unlikely to happen in his eyes.
So imagine his shock when you managed to score higher than him in the Physical Assessment Test.
What in the hell?
"Hey, freak bitch! How the hell did you score higher than me?! What are you playing at?!"
Kirishima immediately held him back and apologized profusely to you.
Bakugou's anger at you only increased when you only stared at him blankly before rolling your eyes and walked away.
Throughout the rest of the day, whenever he tries to call you or even go near you, he finds himself tripping over nothing or his things randomly dropping.
To say it freaks him out will be an understatement.
However, that didn't stop him from pestering you.
Constantly asking yelling- at you demanding your quirk and challenging you for a fight.
You're nonchalant response and sassy remarks only ticked him off.
The two on two activity was useless since you did nothing and Todoroki handled the rest.
Cue the USJ incident and he is finally satisfied when he saw your quirk at first hand.
Skeletons rising from the ground and villains mysteriously flying away from you when they get too close to you.
He immediately put everything together and he is ecstatic.
An unusual quirk but powerful nonetheless.
Katsuki finds himself watching you in the classroom and during training.
Finding your quirk nothing short of weird and curiosity of finding out how you use it is eating him alive.
Sometimes, he catches you talking to yourself and it only makes him more curious.
And think that you are crazy.
The moment you agreed to challenge him was the beginning of your friendship.
He overheard a few girls that you went to school with talking about your hideous appearance and quirk when walking towards the school for training.
A slight twinge in his heart when he saw you, although your face didn't reveal anything, your eyes sure did.
He dragged you by the arm to go faster and reassured you in his blunt way.
After that training with Bakugou became a routine.
The Bakusquad saw you both walking out of the park.
You declined their offer of going out saying that you have something to do and Bakugou just saying that he's not interested in going.
So the teasing of when both of you will make it official happens every. Single. Day.
Be it weekends or weekdays.
They will not stop their teasing even if they are on the verge of death.
Your bond with Katsuki strengthened when you came to rescue him from the villains and when he failed the Provisional License exams.
You were the first one to notice his change and the first and only one to confront him.
He was shocked.
He thought he had it hidden well but not to you.
At first, he was hesitant to tell you anything. But one hug from you and his walls came crashing down.
After that incident, you came to each other to open up.
You told him how you hate your quirk sometimes. Seeing things that gives you nightmares and paranoia.
In a short but somewhat sweet way, he told you about how those fears make you a stronger person. Physically and mentally.
He's by your side no matter what happens, he won't let you go through this alone.
To further emphasize it, he gave you a one arm hug.
He asked you out a few weeks later, quietly and all blushy face which was the first for him.
Of course you said yes.
You both agreed to keep your relationship a secret from everyone until Halloween where - much to everyone's surprise- he joined in.
The real icing on the cake was when they saw you both in a cliche couple, Harley Quinn and Joker.
Mina and Kirishima were the first ones to realize and Denki being the last.
You are practically inseparable after you relieved your relationship.
Anyone who talks badly about you and your quirk won't last long in the face of the earth.
Katsuki Bakugou is already explosive enough as he is, and you decided to talk shit about the love of his life?
Girl/Boy bye.
I hope you crossed everything off your bucket list cause the last thing you will see and hear is the sound of his explosions.
He once asked you about what your spirits think of him.
You were silent for a while before you replied, "I don't think you wanna know."
You know he won't stop there, he kept pestering you, again and again, every chance he gets to ask.
Annoyed you told him.
"They think you are a crusty pomeranian and they find you amusing since it's a miracle that you still have your voice after al those yelling."
They like annoying him, whenever you both are alone, they whisper things to you that'll get you to giggle and he'll angrily question what they were talking about.
Making his things fall or mess with his hair.
They like him for you.
As long as he keeps you safe and happy, they'll keep him safe and sound.
From the villains and the bad spirits.
Random:
You have the perfect quirk to scare the living hell of your friends and family during Halloween season.
Who are you to deny the advantages of it. 😏😏😏
Various crosses and other blessed items by the priest litter around your room to keep the spirits away.

Riddle x Mouse!Reader
The reader is a mouse beast-man that is 7.5 inches tall in normal form.
It was odd going to a school completely designed for larger students, and it took a lot of convincing to get the crow man to let me attend the school.
The entrance ceremony was a little awkward cause the headmaster had to lift me to the mirror to be properly signed to a dorm. And wouldn't you know it, I was assigned to the Heartslabyul Dorm. I happily hopped down and climbed up to my seat, next to a redheaded boy.
He looked so serious, yet he was shaking in his boots, so I thought I would lighten the mood.
--------
I made it and into Heartslabyul dorm no less.
"Hello there," Squeaked a voice.
I looked around looking for the source, but only saw Trey and a space next to me.
"Down here," It squeaked again.
I looked down at the chair beside me to see a tiny Person with Mouse Ears and tail. They looked no bigger than a teacup, why is such a tiny student doing here.
"I'm Y/n Angera, What's your name?" Y/n squeaked with a cute smile.
I could feel my heart start to quicken and pound in my chest as I stared at this tiny person, But why, why do I feel this way.
"Are you okay, your cheeks are red," Y/n said in a curious.
"I-It's nothing, M-My name is Riddle Roseheart," I said as I tried to recompose myself.
"It's nice to meet You Riddle," Y/n said as they held out their tiny hand.
"Likewise, So where do you come from?" I asked as I gently shook his hand.
------------
"I come from Whisker Town," Y/n said squeaked proudly.
Riddle blushed at the tiny person's cuteness, as his heart fluttered in his chest. Riddle tried to compose himself as he looked away from Y/n while muttering something just loud enough for Y/n to hear.
"If you e-ever need help with something just ask, Okay," Riddle mumbled.
Y/n's eyes widened at the sudden offer, but They smiled none the less.
"Thank you, Riddle, that's very kind of you," Y/n squeaked.
"I-It's cause rule #543 of  Heartslabyul, help your fellow Dormmate. You should memorize all the rules," Riddle said with a snobby pout as his cheeks stayed a slight red.
"well Thank you nonetheless, Riddle," Y/n smiled.
-------
From that day on Riddle would help Y/n around the school, From helping them get to classes, helping them upstairs, Studing, and other big people tasks. The two would enjoy their study sessions and tea parties together.
"Y/n that tea cup is too tall and big for you. Your going to fall in," Riddle warned, as he watch the tiny mouse person try to drink from the cup.
"NO, no I got it," Y/n said as he leaned over the lip of the cup.
And just as Riddle warned, Y/n fell into the cup of hot tea. Riddle gasped as he quickly fished out his tiny friend. Y/n coughed up some tea as Riddel craddled them in his hands. Riddle could feel his heart race as Y/n continued to cough up tea, and slowly sit up in Riddles shacky hands..
"I told you not to do that!" Riddle scolded as his heart slowly calmed down.
"In know, but.." Y/n paused, " That was some pretty good tea,"
Trey who was also at the table chuckled slightly as Riddle's face turned red from frustration.
"You could have gotten horribly burned you.. you idiot," Riddle mummled as he put his mouse friend down on the table.
"Sorry Riddle. I didn't mean to scare you like that," Y/n apologized.
"it's fine just don't do that again," Riddle mummbed.
As Riddle spent more time with Y/n, he would notice a few students from their dorm would pick on his favorite tiny friend.
But when he brought it up with the dorm leader, he simply shrugged his shoulders and did nothing. This angered Riddle, as he challenged the Dorm head the next day and won. Making him the youngest dorm head ever.
At first, things were pretty good, Y/n was thankful that Riddle put a stop to the bullying, and it helped them to get along with the other Dormmates.
But naturally, things slowly started to go downhill. Riddle started to become more and more uptight and strict as the months passed. At first, it wasn't so bad, but then it started to get intense.
When Y/n would be a few minutes late to lunch and drank lemon tea passed a certain time, it was an Instant scolding. If Y/n was fooling around with fellow dormmates st a tea party, is punished by forced to write a 2 paged apology. No one was spared from Riddle's punishment, not even his close friends. Y/n soon found it harder and harder to keep up with all the rules that Riddle enforces.
"Hey Y/n are you feeling okay," Trey asked as he helped his underclassmen up the stairs.
"I don't think I can keep up with Riddle and his rules. Just look at me! How can any think sending a 7-inch tall student, to feed 4 feet tall birds, is a good idea?!" Y/n ranted.
"Well Riddle is just trying to uphold tradition," Trey tried to defend.
"I was almost eaten by a bird yesterday, Trey," Y/n said with an unamused face.
"Well, let's just turn in the apology paper," Trey said not knowing how to respond to that comeback.
"I don't think I want to come back to Heartslabyul anymore," Y/n sighed.
"Y/n don't say stuff like that," Trey whispered.
Little did the two know, Riddle heard everything, and Y/n's words caused Riddle's heart to ache. But he quickly shoved those feeling down and locked his heart as he begrudgingly excepted his Tiny Dormmate apology essay.
------------
I can't show lenience towards anyone, rules are equal among everyone. If I have to feed the flamingos, everyone feeds the flamingos. I will show no favoritism to anyone, not even you...Y/n.
But it seemed that Y/n meant what they said, cause the next day was the next unbirthday And Y/n was no where to be seen.  They weren't hiding in the tea pots with the door mouses, or playing tricks on fellow Dormmates. They just vanished, but according to Trey he still sees them around and attending to his classes. They've been spending a lot more time with the nonmagic student Yuu and that trouble some first year, then...me.
No if they wishes to be a lazy traitor, fine. So be it. Yet Why do I feel like I've been abandoned?
------------
"are you sure you can beat Riddle, Ace?" I asked as I held onto his magic blocking collar.
"He sounds pretty strong," Yuu said with a worried tone.
"I can totally could take on that shorty," Ace said with a cocky smile.
"This won't end well," I sighed.
And It really didn't; Riddle was able to beat Ace in a second. Ace being Ace started to spout off about the unfairness of Riddle's reign, while starting a miny revolution in the process. Then everything went to hell.
____
"Riddle , I challenge you to a duel for the Drom head stautes," Y/n squeaked as they hopped off Yuu's shoulder.
"Haha, A tiny thing like you, Face me?" Riddle laughed with a Cocky smile, " Your just as much as a rule breaker as that first-year, and you will always need the help of others just to do basic student activities. I'm so many leagues above you Y/n. You amount to nothing just like Ace,"
Y/n simple glared at the taller boy, but Riddles gaze didn't go noticed from Yuu. He could see some sort of anger and sadness trying to be covered up with pride and regalness. Y/n just glared as Riddle kept on monologing on and on about the rules.
"What sort of lessons were you taught that you can't even understand that?" Riddle smirked, " Your home town, Whisker Town must be tragic. I bet that you didn't even receive proper education before you step foot into this school. Truly Pathetic".
Y/n's eyes began to water at Riddle's words as they started to try hold back their tears of frustration and anger. With a battle cry Y/n dashed towards riddle as their body began to glow and grow.
Suddenley Y/n was Trey's height, as he ran and punched Riddle square in the nose. Everyone was still in shock at Y/n's spontaniouse growth, but Y/n slowly began to shrink and just bearly met Riddles hip .
"It looks like Mantaining that form drains to much of Y/n's energy," Crowley said as he observes his students.
"So Y/n has to limit his magic use, or else they'll get to tired?" Grim asked.
Suddenly an egg was thrown at Riddle, and everything escalated, as Riddle's overblot took control. With a swift hand movement everyone was wearing Riddle's magic blocking collar, and Y/n was forced back to their 7 inch tall body. The sky turned dark and rubble started to float up into the air as Riddle changed and turned into a monster.
"I am.....! I'm ALONE!! I AM THE ONLY ONE WHO IS ALWAYS RIGHT AND DON'T NEED ANYONE!!" Riddle cried out.
"R-Riddle," Y/n gasped at the transform class mate.
"I do not need anyone who defies me in my world. Or leaves me, I am the absoute ruler. My world itself submits to me!" Riddle laughed darkly as he grabbed Y/n by the tail," I will not tolerate any other answer except, "Yes, Lord Riddle."!
Riddle tossed Y/n hard onto the ground and Y/n's world went dark.
------
"Y/n-san, Y/n-san are you okay?" A voice asked.
Y/n opened their eye's to find themselves in the infirmary, with their head ,left leg, and torso wrapped in banages.
"Good, your alive. Thank goodness," Yuu sighed in relief.
"What... Happened to Riddle. Is he okay?" Y/n asked slowly.
"Yeah he's fine, You were out for 6 days. Oh and know that your awake, Riddle wanted me to invite you to the unbirthday tomorrow. He wanted to apologise to you," Yuu said.
"Well, umm..... It would rude to turn down an invitation," Y/n smiled wearily.
----------
Riddle sat nervesly at the main table as he waited for Y/n and Yuu's arrival. A tiny tea set and table was set up for them.
Soon Y/n and Yuu arrived, as Yuu set Y/n down on the table. Y/n held their minature cruches at their side as they sat down at the tiny set up for them. The two sat in an awkward silence till Riddle cleared his throat to call Y/n's attention.
"I-I wanted to say sorry... For the things I said and for hurting you. I let myself get out of hand," Riddle apologized as  tears ran down his cheeks.
Suddenly Riddle felt a gentle hand wipe away his tears. He looked up to see Y/n, but about his height and was smiling down at him with a kind and soft look.
"I Forgive you Riddle, just please don't cry. It doesn't suite you," Y/n smiled as Riddle blushed slightly.

"How ticklish are you?" suggested by @ljandersen
pairing: Kaidan Alenko x Kori Reese (my OC); set during ME1; 2115 words
The Normandy was once again docked at a port for resupply. Only this time it wasn't some backwater planet. This time it was a popular tourist spot established by human private investors. With a limited Alliance presence, Avalon was the perfect haven for some less than reputable people. But at the moment it was a location for the SR1 crew’s shore leave.
Shore leave that Doctor Chakwas insisted the crew needed to take. A 24 hour layover at Avalon fit the bill with little to no argument from Shepard much to Kaidan’s surprise. Of course that left 24 hours of free time for the crew to get into mischief. He had a feeling Kori might be one of those who ended up on report if she wasn't properly entertained. But she wouldn't appreciate a keeper. Maybe she'd be okay with someone who was more than friends.
There wasn't exactly a label for what they were. Their relationship wasn't something they wanted to advertise. It wasn't even something that should have occurred. Fraternization regs. His own personal rules. Reese’s tendencies to be exceedingly private because of her past. All of that was supposed to work against them. Somehow it hadn't.
After something finagling the two lieutenants had managed to sneak off to enjoy a day of shore leave without any other crew members present. Applying his habit of being thorough in his duties to researching the Avalon colony, Kaidan had discovered a little used beach some ways from the spaceport. Convincing Reece to trust him, they rented a skycar and headed to the beach. Slightly cooler temperature wise than the more popular beaches near the spaceport, it reminded him of the ones he visited near Vancouver on Earth in his youth.
Of course the first thing Reese had commented on was the temperature. How much cooler it was then at the spaceport, and he knew she hated being cold. He grinned at her as he casually took off his blue Alliance hoodie.
“Want to borrow this?” He offered nonchalantly. He'd worn it over his T-shirt having been prepared for the temperature. He suggested she take one as well, but Reese did as she wanted.
The younger Lieutenant glared at him as she snatched the hoodie from his hand and put it on. “You did this on purpose.”
“Me?” He said innocently, pointing at himself. “I suggested that you should bring one.”
“You didn't tell me why,” she accused as she pulled the too-long sleeves of the borrowed hoodie up to her elbows.
“You're a smart person. I thought you could figure it out,” Kaidan replied with a smirk as he began walking down the beach away from the skycar.
“Ass,” Reese grumbled as he stopped to glance back at her
Extending a hand behind him he said, “Don't be that way, Kori. I thought this could be …something just for us.”
“Just for us?” She echoed as she walked up to him, staring at his offered hand.
“Well yeah,” Alenko replied shyly. “I mean with everything else we've …done, I thought some time together off the ship would be nice …kind of like a date.”
“A date?” She repeated uncertainly.
Kaden nodded. “Maybe we aren't there yet but –“
“We shagged like rabbits in the back of the Mako, Kaidan,” Reese pointed out smugly.
Alenko arched an eyebrow as a satisfied grin spread across his face. “We did, didn't we?”
“Really? You are going to be smug –“
She was cut off when he took her hand and pulled her to his side. “Can we please just take a walk along this beach which reminds me at home and pretend we …could be a normal couple?”
His whiskey-colored eyes pleaded with her to indulge him this one time. He was well aware Reese thought he was a romantic at heart, a sentiment shared by Ashley. He had already gone way over the line concerning keeping things strictly professional with Reese anyhow. Walking down a remote beach acting as if they weren't on a life-or-death mission for a few hours wouldn’t do much more damage if anyone found out. At least it was more explainable than the Mako.
“I --we can do that,” Reese agreed as she slowly slid an arm around his waist.
Kaidan grinned as he mimicked her action with his arm around her shoulders. They walked in silence for a few minutes, listening to the waves gently crash against the shore. The sun shone brightly overhead as a cloud or two moved in front of it occasionally. It was comforting to just spend time with someone he cared about without any expectations. It was nice to be somewhere that reminded him of home. It was just nice to be with Reese.
“This beach reminds you of home?” The younger tech’s voice called up to him. Alenko glanced down to see grey eyes looking back at him with a curious expression.
“Well yeah. Even the temperature. Vancouver is along the coast, remember? My parents have some land in the countryside,” he explained. “We used to go whenever we could, not just in the to swim. Sometimes just to take a walk.”
“A beach is supposed to be warm,” Reese insisted.
“And how would you know?”
“Just 'cause I was a colony kid doesn't mean I've never been to a beach,” she answered indignantly. “Moirae was like Georgia. One of the reasons my parents chose it for colonization and terraforming …Georgia has beaches too.”
“That doesn't mean you've been to a beach. That's just show that you know what one is,” Kaidan observed with a teasing grin.
“Alenko –“
He kissed her quickly. “I'm teasing, Kori.”
She huffed as she said, “My grandma used to talk take us swimming during the summer. Trying to help me feel normal while learning how to cope with my biotics.”
“That's cool,” Alenko commented, using 20th century slang that both annoyed and endeared him to her more.
“Actually it was hot,” Reese said with a wink.
Kaidan chuckled as he hugged her to his side. “And that is why you hate being cold and why you have a stash of blankets in your bunk I suppose.”
“Do not mock the stash of blankets,” Reese said seriously. “They have kept me from climbing into your bunk. You're warm.”
Alenko shook his head. “I should thank the blanket stash for keeping us out of trouble then. As nice as it might be to go to sleep with you in my arms. “
“Are you getting all mushy on me, Alenko?”
“Maybe just a little. No one else is around so …”
Reese shook her head as they continued to walk down the deserted beach. “I haven't walked a beach in quite a while.”
Kaidan grinned, glad that his idea had been a good one. “Did you ever just take walks along the beach on Moirae?”
The Lieutenant regretted the question as soon as the words left his mouth. He stopped in his tracks and looked at her. “Kori, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to –“
“You probably don't know but colony kids have dances in high school. Just like you Earthborn kids do,” Reese interjected, ignoring his attempt to apologize. She went on as she gazed out at the ocean. “Granted my high school wasn't that big but we managed to still have dances. Our junior prom was supposed to be on the beach. Everyone was excited. It was going to be my first formal. I even had a dress picked out. No date of course but a few of us girls were just gonna go together in a group.
Kaidan watched as she paused, a wistful look on her face. She rarely talked about Moirae. She was more apt to talk about her time in Georgia but to be truthful she didn't often talk about her past at all. He probably knew more than anyone else on the SR-1 but even that was a smattering of whatever she let slip when her guard was down.
“The short version is that it didn't happen, and I never got to attend a formal dance,” the tech concluded with a shrug of the shoulders.
She began to walk again but was stopped by Kaidan’s hand on her arm. “You don't have to act like it isn't a big deal.”
“But that's just it. Missing a prom isn't a big deal. It was just a stupid dance.”
“Maybe but it was more to you. It was something you were looking forward to, something I think you were actually excited about,” Kaidan said as he brought her back to him. “I know the destruction of your colony took away your family and your home, but it also took away experiences that you could have had. Things you should have had. You can't get the exact experience back but maybe when this mission is over we can try to make up for that in some small way.”
“You mean arrange for me to go to prom?”
“Well no, not exactly, but definitely something requiring formal attire. A dress.”
She arched an eyebrow. “Now you just want to see me in a dress.”
“I’ve seen you in less,” he pointed out as he placed his hands on her hips.
As he absentmindedly made lazy circles with his thumbs, she huffed. “So that is where your mind is, techboy.”
“I think I’m allowed,” he replied as he noticed her beginning to fidget. Frowning he asked, “Something wrong?”
She shook her head. “Nope.”
Not convinced he stopped his ministrations and watched her fidgeting cease. An idea began to form as a wicked grin spread across his face. He lightly caressed her hips again but this time working his way up the side of her ribcage. She wiggled and began giggling.
“Alenko! Stop!”
As she backed away, he stared at hie wide eyed. “Kori, how ticklish are you?”
“That is need to know information and you, Lt. Alenko, don’t need to know,” she replied holding her hands up in front of her as a makeshift barrier.
“Oh, but I think I do need to know, Lt. Reese,” he countered as he began walking towards her with purpose.
“Aw, hell no!” she yelled as she began running from him.
He laughed as the tech began sprinting back towards the skycar. He gave pursuit, sorely tempted to use his biotics to halt her retreat. But that would be cheating, and Reese would definitely not like that. In the end he settled for catching up with her and tackling her.
She let out a shriek as they fell unceremoniously to the sandy ground. Kaidan gave a roar of laughter as he declared, “Got ‘cha!”
With Reese already struggling to escape, he immediately began to tickle her again, determined to discover just how ticklish she was. Her laughter was music to his ears as they rolled along the beach. He’d only rarely heard her giggle let alone laugh as if nothing could stop her. As she twisted and turned underneath him, he discovered to his delight she was very ticklish nearly everywhere.
The wheels in Alenko’s head began turning as he stopped tickling her. That weakness was definitely something he could exploit later. Grey eyes looked at him as tears of laughter slide down her cheeks. He leaned down and kissed her sweetly.
As she hummed her contentment Kaidan murmured against her lips. “Take shore leave with me after this mission.”
Reese pulled back just a bit as she said, “You’re serious?”
Kaidan nodded even though he was surprised as she was that he had uttered the words to begin with. She blinked and cupped his cheek. “You’re serious enough about us you’d want to see more of me after this mission…oryou just want to tickle me some more?”
Alenko grinned. “Maybe it’s both. And maybe I can find more places where you are ticklish…Ones I need to remove certain articles of clothing to discover…”
“Are you coming onto me, Alenko?”
Kaidan smirked. “I thought I was already on you, Reese.”
The tech rolled her eyes as he leaned down and kissed her again. “Will you?”
Reese made an amused sound before asking, “If I say yes, are you going to stop kissing me?”
“No.”
“Then yes.”
Kaidan grinned as he kept his word and continued kissing the Lt. Happy to have something to look forward to and happy that thing involved Reese. Happy to know she looked forward to it as well. As the waves crashed around them, he was once again reminded of home and how Kori now felt like that to him. And that he would never regret it. Ever.

Hello, sorry if this is annoying but can you explain how Himiko is neurodivirgent, I don't mean to come off as rude or anything, I just don't know much about the topic and am curious? Sorry to cause any trouble.
It’s absolutely not any trouble!! I love talking about how Himiko shows signs of being neurodivergent. It hits close to home specifically since not only is she one of my favorite characters, but I relate to her a lot. Okay, this might be a bit long, so sorry about that lol:
So in case you don’t know exactly what it is, neurodiversity is when mentally your brain is wired differently than normal, or “neurotypical”, peoples brains. Especially with considerably easy functions like socialising, thinking, learning, developing or ageing, and many others. Many disorders can fall under the neurodiversity spectrum. ADHD, BPD, autism spectrum disorder, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, dyslexia, and many others.
Personally, I think Himiko would fall into the category of being autistic, which has a lot going into it, but can be summed up as a developmental disorder that involves delays in communication, thinking, social situations, and basic human understanding.
Though there is a thread on Twitter that does a good job covering certain criterias that I won’t end up covering (her lack of understanding of social cues, development delays, the reason why she’s depressed, etc.) and it’s really good!!
Below, I’ll list the traits that, in my opinion, Himiko possesses that are common in ND people. Not all of them will be listed, just the bigger ones:
Talking in a slow, almost “emotionless” way
Himiko talks a certain way throughout the whole of the game, rarely ever changing even when she’s expressing very strong emotions. From the very first line she speaks, Himiko talks about something exciting to her, but still sounds very flat and unenthused. Most ND people will always speak in the same tone of voice no matter what. Sometimes, it's very flat and monotone, like Himikos. Sometimes they'll speak slowly either to gather together what they want to say next, or that's just how they were wired to speak. (Almost exactly like Jataro from DR:AE who speaks in a similar way. Who also has a few neurodivergent traits. But that's just a theory c:)
Childish behavior
This usually ranges, but Himiko has a few traits that neurodivergent people have that others consider “too childish”. She’s extremely naive in how she perceives the world, people around her, and their intentions with interacting with her. Like when Kaito asked her to bring her a crossbow of all things and it takes little for her to be convinced to assist him. Or when Kokichi makes fun of her, and she doesn't always gets it. She's sometimes able to understand, but mostly she doesn't understand that he's just taking advantage of her innocence to treat her how he does with others. She takes things everyone says at face value and believes them easily. Her peers consider her to be a bit slow in many areas, almost in a childlike way. She almost has a child-level understanding of vocabulary (i.e. pronounces words the way children do like how the way she says magic almost sounds like “myagic”, her vocabulary is pretty limited, and she usually starts using certain words that she hears others use). When having her Master brought up with the possibility that he left her selfishly and that she was better than him, she always denies it, keeping an innocent mentality so she won’t feel too bad. After being motivated to move forward, she’s seen a lot to want to be helpful to the group and do something useful, and in return they, in my opinion, view that behavior how older people view a child wanting to be helpful to them. The thread above goes more into detail (her bathroom issues, having a unique way of remembering and referring to objects), but these are only some of the examples for Himiko's maturity.
Being a “gifted child” when she was young
This is entirely my speculation since this is never addressed in canon, but Himiko strikes me as a former “gifted child” which most NDs go through. Her “gift” was discovered at a young age and she was really skilled at it. She was known for it by huge masses of people and praised for it. She even had to save the person who saw the talent in her and taught her everything she knows about it when he made a mistake. She gets invited to all types of events because of it. Lot’s of ND kids who were thought of as “gifted'' may have gone through the same thing. It would also explain why she’s so depressed and unmotivated through most of the game, as a result of what’s called “gifted child syndrome”. Having so much praise and expectations set on her so young. Getting older and not having the same energy for it as you had before. Technically all the DR kids are former gifted children, since they're the product of a company exploiting their "gifts", which is a factor in how the world ended in the way it was. But Himiko has more, you could say "traditional" symptoms and after-effects of growing up as a gifted child (depressed, lack of motivation, lack of motivation in her subject, etc.).
Being viewed as lazy
Even though she takes what she's passionate about seriously, less than when she was younger or not, Himiko doesn't always take action with magic, and even everyday tasks. ND people usually lack any sort of drive, sometimes having an “I’ll come back to it later” mentality, excited about it or not. Himiko lacks any drive and motivation throughout the game, even at the idea of being killed, or put in the line of suspicion for someone's killer. She’ll always make excuses on why she can’t act on things, the most common being “she doesn’t have enough MP”. Which goes back to her talent as a magician, which she is especially sluggish in.
Bottling in her emotions and not wanting them to show. But when she does, it results in an on-going meltdown
We all saw it in its prime during the end of the third trial after all, right? Himiko was sort of always closed in, but it wasn't extreme since she hadn't hit her lowest yet. When she did though, (being the prime suspect of Ryoma dying, her closest friends Tenko and Angie dying, being one of the suspects of one of their murders, etc.) She still attempted to hold it all in, which ND people do for a variety of reasons (not knowing how to process extreme emotions, not wanting too much attention by expressing them, or choosing unhealthy ways to process your feelings, amongst others). But once Kokichi called her out for the second time? Not only was everything practically gushing out of her face, but she literally passed out from crying for so long. I don't know whether to laugh or cry at that myself, ha.
The same thing happened in the last trial kind of. Once the truth of the killing game and their identities is revealed, she seems to have a meltdown. It could be from the overwhelmingness of the situation. It could be the amount of "change" of the situation, which she doesn't even remember. It could also be overstimulating tones with the change in environment, the info dumping, and how everyone jumped from topic to topic etc. Meltdowns are normal for ND people, especially since they usually hold in their feelings. Himiko got better at expressing herself, but meltdowns will still happen once something overwhelming occurs (it's a great way to let out steam!!)
Stimming
Stimming is when someone, ND or not, self-stimulates themselves by repeatedly moving in some way either by speaking, moving either themselves or something else, or watching someone else do it. Most of the time, you can see Himiko fidgeting with her fingers or with her hat. Doing something with her hands, which is a form of stimming
Despite that, Himiko most noticeably stims by speaking, as she sometimes repeats stuff others say, sometimes repeats a word in order to comfort herself and her beliefs (saying “it’s magic” over and over, either in retaliation or in general), and has a go-to word that she’ll always use almost every sentence when she doesn’t know what to say, is caught off guard/by surprise, or just when she starts and ends her sentences (y’know like, “nyeh”?).
“Odd” facial features/expressions
This one presents itself a lot in the game and through her design as well. Her lip stays tucked out all the time, her eyes don’t always stay open, and her face often keeps the same expression (tired and kind of bored). Just like when she speaks, even when she's expressing intense emotions, she'll keep a mellow expression. She lifts her hat into the air and not much changes expression-wise. She'll be accusatory to someone and not much changes expression-wise. To certain people she interacts with, they think her face is "weird" since it'll pull in ways it usually doesn't for NT people. It could be because she's trying to force the look on herself so it's more easier for people to read (which is shown to be the case for most people), but it's also possible that it's just how she looks. Since she's older, she has more freedom to make more strategies to have more natural expressions, but it's still off-putting to some of her peers.
The infamous saying, “she comes off as annoying”
Many people know this one well, and Himiko is no different, especially in the earlier chapters. Almost everything stated above is a factor that plays in people's disdain for Himiko, in the game and the fandom. Characters like Shuichi, Kaede, Tenko, and even Angie are one of the only few people who try to understand and adjust to Himiko's behavior in their own method, while everyone else either ignores her, doesn’t take her seriously, or even end up bullying her because of it, not willing to adjust themselves for her specific brand of behavior. Being an obvious target, coming off as weird, being too blunt and coming off as rude (which even caused her having strained relationships with K1-B0, Miu, etc.), sometimes hyperfixating too hard on magic (her “special interest”), all seem to be a reason for people thinking she’s too high maintenance.
,,,this ask sure is a month old isn’t it? retrdfyugihhuyt I am EXTREMELY sorry I answered this so late, but I haven’t been online lately because of moving, but at least I managed to finish this in less than a day lol. It’s long, but I love Himiko, and love all the quirks that make her who she is, and am happy to explain it to others!! I hope this answered your questions either way (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧

"I-I'm so sorry!"
You remember the first day you met him. A clueless little first-year getting lost in the school building and just your luck, you bumped into the head of Savanaclaw after turning a corner.
You could tell he was half asleep, eyes still droopy from his latest nap, an irked expression on his face as he clicked his tongue.
"Watch where you're going next time, herbivore."
He walked away just like that.
"Wow."
The word was out before you even noticed, causing you to immediately slap a palm over your lips, eyes quickly darting towards his direction to see him still walking ahead.
He probably heard you still, considering his sensitive ears.
You couldn't help yourself. Leona Kingscholar was...beyond beautiful. You have heard of him, second prince of Afterglow Savannah, you expected a prince to be attractive but after getting an up close look—wow.
The next time you saw him, it was during his Magift practice with the dorm members.
You saw his leadership. Though posture and words are still lazy and monotonous, you could tell everyone present there respected him. The way he stood, the way he instructed his members, everything about him amazes you.
You wished to converse with him, to interact with him, you wanted to be his friend, someone he considers close with but you could never do that. A perfect chance for you to talk to him won't fall upon you like romance movies and you probably wouldn't bump into him again.
Because you were nothing more than an average student among hundreds in Night Raven College. You could never catch his eyes.
"Oh, what a pure and cute love this is!"
Your senior, Rook Hunt, had suddenly appeared beside you during one of the days when you have your daily 'staring-from-afar' session to admire Leona.
"Mhm. He's very charming, isn't he?"
Rook had teased you, sparing no consideration—not that he was doing it on purpose—to his poor underclassman, gushing about young love, and that you should pursue it with all your heart.
He didn't stop until Vil came, the dorm head asking what were the two of his dorm members were talking about and suddenly your little crush was exposed to the two people you least wanted them to know.
Rook, because of his endless teasing and possibly loud mouth and Vil, because of his cruel judgement.
"Foolish."
He had called you that. Lecturing you about why you should not fall in love with such a man, he had also warned you, telling you to prepare for a heartbreak because if you're only planning to stare from afar like this, you'll never get the love you want.
You were far too concerned by the teasings and lectures, quickly changing the topic and dismissing it as just a small crush, you wouldn't get a heartbreak, you're not even in love with him.
It was just a small crush.
Yeah, just a small crush.
You like to tell yourself that.
Tumblr media
"I'm sorry about Rook-senpai earlier..."
Your head was bowed, embarrassed by your vice dorm head's previous actions. You and him had come across Leona during your time in the cafeteria and the blond had basically interrogated the man, throwing questions after another so before Leona could explode, you quickly dragged Rook away, letting out an awkward chuckle and quick apologies.
"Ah?"
His voice was rough, obviously still annoyed by the previous incident and you yelped, backing away a little when he peered you down.
"Oh, you're that herbivore who bumped into me that day."
You remember how fast your heart was beating that day, eyes wide in surprise.
"Whatever, it wasn't you who was annoying me yesterday. That weirdo..."
He clicked his tongue again, ruffling his hair slightly before the irked expression softened (well, somewhat?) to a tired one, already yawning.
It's...two in the afternoon...?
You remember the way you squealed in your bed that night, covered in your warm blanket and rolling around excitedly, didn't bother keeping it down since you had a small, separate room for yourself than being cramped with others.
It wasn't anything special, nor something to be happy about. It wasn't even close to a conversation but somehow, the few minutes spent with him was able to make you happy for hours.
Tumblr media
The magicless human had arrived unexpectedly. Tearing into this foreign world and sometimes you pitied her. Thrown into a world that isn't her own and so, so confused with everything that's happening.
Knowing he would be here during this time of the day, probably skipped class to take a nap. You wanted to take a peak, just a little of his sleeping form and see his content, relaxed expression.
The human stepped on his tail, much to your horror. You even thought about trying to calm Leona down if he ever get out of hand but all he did was release an uncomfortable grunt.
He was close, stepping in to take a whiff of her scent and your chest tightened, listening to his amused chuckles directed to her.
It was just a little incident between the two of them, it's not going to be something more. You shouldn't feel jealous over this, you didn't have the right to.
The words of Vil clouded your mind the whole day. Heartbreak? Could it really happen?
When you spend your days admiring Leona from afar, the magicless human had only step closer to him each day. It was subtle at first, never fully befriending him until after his Overblot and—
"She's staying in his room?"
The pain was still fresh and clear. How your mind immediately stopped thinking about everything and anything, focussing solely on the words your friend had told you.
"Oh? You look rather displeased."
You ignored your classmate's usual taunt and tease, his smile still on as he slipped the drink to you but that smile was quickly dropped when he saw your lips tremble with eyes watering.
"Jade! You made her cry!"
Tumblr media
It wasn't long until the news of the magicless human got together with Leona Kingscholar spread like wildfire.
And unexpectedly enough, Vil was the first whom came to you after the news.
Even after receiving many silent shakes of head, Vil offered you his shoulder to cry on, his chest to hide your tears stained cheeks in, and you couldn't keep on the facade any longer.
"Foolish."
The word rang in your head loudly, aching it badly.
The magicless human was brave, strong and determined.
You were not.
The magicless human was daring enough to achieve what she want at all costs.
You were not.
She was someone different.

You didn't ask, but I did it ✨ anyway ✨
I also did that little banner type thing is with the help of Pinterest-.
So enjoy, @kayasmind and Merry Christmas ♡
The snowfall outside the window seemed mystical. A girl sat near the window of her dorm, gazing at the snowflakes that danced through the sky, entrancing her enough for a young Guin Nomioka to run her fingers tenderly down the window. She could hear her heart flutter softly due to how quiet it is within her dorm. Her mentor was said to meet her with Gojo, but plans soon changed after her mentor, Mizuki Nakayama, cancelled for a last minute "meeting" With Nanami.
Guin sighed, thinking about it though, if she was Mizuki's age and scored a date with the most stoic person in Jujutsu Tech yet the most good looking, she's sure she would've called everything off too. Gojo took Nobara and the others out for a mission, so she's more than positive that Yuji wasn't going to be here. It's almost like there was nothing to do. Everyone was busy, but her. With this in her mind, she nodded to herself and stood away from her window, stretching her body until Guin heard pops that made her stop and worry.
Pulling her medium length black hair in front of her, she walks over to her closet to pull out a white winter coat with fur around the hood, throwing it on over her white long sleeve shirt. She switched her red skirt for black leggings and black knee high boots given to her by Mizuki. Guin pulls on a hat and scarf before putting her white gloves on and finally, leaving her dorm to go for an afternoon walk in the winter snow. As she closed the door and began to lock it, she took a moment to take in how quiet it was. Unbelievable to her still, it seems, and that's where her journey began.
Stepping out of Jujutsu Tech and going down the steps to actually feel the cold of winter poke at the bits of skin exposed on her face made Guin's face turn a little red from the cold. She admired and loved it all the more though. It was one of the many reasons she liked to step out and looking at the scenery of Japan. It made her heart fill with indescribable amounts of joy. Thinking about it more, she could only imagine how Yuji would feel walking by her side in this cold weather. Probably happier than normal. She wouldn't know though, he's not here.
Guin uncovered her mouth a bit to blow the hot air from her mouth out. Her breath being visible outside from how cold it was. She walked down the steps, the snowflakes around her doing a waltz as they graced the earth once they landed. Guin covered her mouth with her scarf again and held out a gloved hand to try and capture one of the little falling snow dancers. Gazing around her as she walked down the steps, it made her heart suddenly fall. She wished someone was with her. Being in such weather without someone by your side could make you realize not only how lonely it is, but how upset you are.
She tried to shake off these negative emotions, being a Jujutsu Sorcerer is all about being able to control these emotions. Without it, your cursed energy will be all used up. Guin closed her eyes, faintly remembering what her mentor told her when they first met.
"Right!"
Guin nods towards the woman she looked up to.
Mizuki Nakayama. A Grade 1 Sorcerer with a personality so unnerving that most would be driven away. Guin, on the other hand, was drawn towards her more. Mizuki liked to lightly push her students, give them lectures when needed and love them all equally.
"Remember, Guin. Try not to let your emotions sway you. It won't end up well if you use up all your cursed energy just by being angry or having sorrow strike you."
Guin nods again, eyes shining while she looked at her mentor.
Passionate Red eyes, long black hair with silver tips, the yellow and pink hair clips in her hair that held it up just so you could see her pretty face. Guin's lips pulled into a warm smile as she tapped her mentor while leaving the room.
"Mizuki-sensei!!"
She called out, bringing the attention of the woman towards her.
"Hmm?"
Guin fully smiled her bright smile. The first of many that Mizuki will see.
"You look so pretty today!"
Guin softly smiled within her scarf, walking along the sidewalk of the busy city. The feeling of the snow crunching under her boots was forever comforting her ears. As she looked at the buildings around her, her eyes softened. Not only seeing that, but seeing the other people walking around town with their family or loved ones made her heart warm. Seeing others so happy while she walked the snowy streets filled her with more love than excepted. Then again, she was told not to let her emotions sway her so that could be it too.
However, everything began to change. As she looked down one of the roads, she saw someone she didn't except to see at all.
"Y-Yuji....?"
She muttered under her breath.
As unnatural as it looked, it was indeed Yuji Itadori, walking down a street lined with cafes. Behind him though, Guin noticed his mentor, Kento Nanami. She took in Nanami's features, seeing him looking rather embarrassed than normal. However, it was soon noticed why once Yuji stepped in front of Nanami, revealing her mentor, Mizuki, holding his hand and looking around with a very happy smile on her face.
Guin giggled slightly, seeing the people she cared for most all together like a little family on their own made her body warm up with love. She didn't want to join in though. She would see it as her being bothersome. Besides, it's not like Mizuki planned to be with Yuji and Nanami. She's sure that if she knew Yuji was coming, Mizuki would bring Guin too. Nanami probably asked Yuji to come with them so it's not so awkward between the two. Even though they look like the most opposite couple on their own, it would help their case a little more to have someone like Yuji on their side.
Guin shook her head, blinking a bit to direct her attention somewhere else. 'Staring is rude, afterall..' She thought to herself, beginning to walk straight as to not cause them to notice her. That plan though failed, miserably.
"Hey!! Guin-chan!"
Guin heard her mentor yell her name, to which Guin simply froze.
Soft bits of sweat ran down her face lightly as she slowly looked back towards the small group.
"Oh? Guin? Where?"
Yuji softly asked Mizuki, to which Mizuki's lazy smile grew a bit, pointing across the road towards the girl.
Yuji looked towards Guin and Guin couldn't help but avert her eyes away once more. Yuji, on the other hand, began to smile and wave.
"Guin!!!! Guin-chan!!!"
He called out, waving more sporadically to try and get Guin's attention again.
Guin inhaled softly before finally facing Yuji. She took cautious steps towards the crew across the street, watching in case any cars came by. Then again, it's snowing, so why would people be driving to begin with besides work.
She made her way towards them, crossing the street all while keeping eye contact with Yuji. When she finally crossed, Mizuki let Nanami'd hand go to give her student a warm bear hug. Nanami simply gives a light smile to the sweet sight, happy to see the girls hugging. However, with Yuji being just as excited about seeing them as Guin is about seeing him, he joins in with with hug and brings Nanami in with him. He knows it'll cost him a slap, but it's worth it to see his mentor and Guin's mentor together.
Yuji hugs Guin and forces Nanami to at least put a hand to Mizuki's back. There they were, all together and such. Pulling away, they all stared at each other. The silence while standing in the cold was enough to make Mizuki say something.
"Okay so, it's literally freezing.."
She mumbled, looking down before peeking her eyes back up at a very flustered Guin.
"Yuji, take Guin by the hand and join us. I'm sure Nanamin wouldn't mind~"
She lazily purred towards the tall man, who simply let out an annoyed grunt before taking her by the wrist and dragging her off.
Mizuki knew she might've pushed a button that shouldn't have been touched, but it always brought out his more aggressive side. She giggled like a dazed girl, before Nanami completely took them out of sight, leaving Yuji and Guin together.
Guin looked at Yuji with a small smile, and Yuji flashed Guin an even bigger smile. Taking Mizuki's advice, Yuji took Guin by the hand and went in the opposite direction of the two adults. Back up the cafe strip, Yuji had Guin gaze at the lights that lit up the brightly snow covered roads. All of the cafes were warm with a bright light on in the inside that already looked warm from the outside.
"You know, I bet you're cold after standing out for so long. I don't know where Nanamin and Mizuki-san could've went, but let's go into one of the cafes!"
He said, his facial features warming Guin's heart to the max, causing her to blush under her scarf.
"S-Sure!"
She happily agreed, shivering a bit as she answered him.
Yuji and Guin walked hand in hand further down the strip. Eyes shining with curiosity with each cafe they passed. Eventually, they stopped at a cafe with a very unsuspecting surprise at the front door. As the two walked in, someone sitting at one of the polished wood tables pointed up toward the door opening. Almost like it was a curse, or fate, a mistletoe was played above the door frame. Hanging there with all its glory. Guin's face lit up a dark red, looking down and immediately walking out of Yuji's grasp. Yuji shook his head, a smile on his face again from how shy Guin really is. A missed chance to tell her how he feels, he sighs and lets it slide. Guin sits at a table and Yuji follows suit. A waitress comes near them to their table, a smile on her face as she asked the orders of the two. To which Guin and Yuji ordered simple hot chocolate.
As they waited for their drinks, Yuji glances towards Guin who sat across from him.
"I uh.."
She softly says, looking down the whole time.
She didn't really expect to be having what was essentially a date with her crush.
"I didn't expect to see you.."
She softly giggles, pulling a strand of hair behind her ear ever so bashfully.
"Oh yeah?"
He asks, laughing a bit.
"Gojo and the others were done with the exorcism of a curse, but as we were leaving, Gojo spotted Nanami and Mizuki looking kinda cute together. So he told me to go with them... I've been with then since..."
He softly explains, before suddenly lighting up.
"And then we found you!"
He chuckles softly, his soft smile lingering on his face that made wanting to hold him become worth it.
Guin looked up at Yuji just as Yuji opened his eyes to see Guin. Their eyes make contact for a total five seconds before Guin bursts into a dark red blush. The waitress also happens to bring them their hot chocolate. The convince for Guin is so good. Yuji thanks the woman who served them and pay there too, as he decides to leave the cafe with his drink in hand. Guin quickly follows after him with her hot chocolate, thanking the woman as the two run off.
Sipping the hot chocolate while gazing at the sky, and walking along the snow covered concrete couldn't make for a better day right now. Guin was close to Yuji the whole time they walked. Being out in the cold weather for so long could be both unbearable and comforting when you're doing something. The sun was getting ready to rest for the day, getting closer and closer to sunset as the seconds went by. Yuji took Guin to a near by park and began to walk the path that was slightly sprinkled in the snow. Out of the corner of his eye though, Yuji spots Nanami and Mizuki again. Nanami had his mouth covered by a scarf. Yuji believed it to be Mizuki's scarf because of it being a dark red. Nanami walked next to her, cheeks lightly pink from the cold. He also wore a black winter trench coat and went without his normal glasses today. He was glancing at Mizuki, who had on a gray winter coat, black boots and black leggings. She held a bouquet of roses as she stuck close to the man who had asked her out. More likely than not, Nanami bought them for her. Yuji stopped walking to fully stare at the adults, pulling on Guin's coat to get her to stop too.
"Guin, look."
Yuji said, nudging his head in direction of the two.
Guin jolted a moment before actually turning to look at Mizuki and Nanami.
"Aren't they adorable~"
He asked, a slight tease in his voice.
She nodded, finding them together to be actually quite cute.
Mizuki's normally lazy smile was replaced with one of soft love, nuzzling her pink dusted cheek against Nanami's arm. Yuji chuckles softly, finishing his hot chocolate and looking away from the two.
"Those two together was so unexpected that it's cute... So cute."
He softly said, patting Guin's back and holding out his hand.
"I may not have flowers, but..."
He flashed that innocent smile again, one that made Guin look back at Yuji and stare while sipping her hot chocolate.
Completely in awe.
"I have the ability to show you such a great time."
He softly said, his voice music to Guin's ears in the way he spoke.
She felt as though she was swept away by the moment, unconsciously finishing her hot chocolate and taking his hand, the two throwing out their cups and running out of the park.
The sun was dancing brightly over the horizon, showing that dusk was on its way.
"How about we call it a night?"
He asks her, making Guin softly whimper.
Whimper to only herself though, as much as she doesn't want these moments to end, she knows that these moments must come to a stop at one point. Though, her disappointment was visible, she sighed.
"Fine.. Let's head back to Jujutsu Tech."
She softly said, pulling her own scarf down to show her disappointed yet, soft smile.
Yuji held her hand all the way back to Jujutsu tech, the speed of the snow picking up slightly so soft flurries were happening. They stopped at the steps, standing and looking at the steps before turning to face each other.
"You know... How about we don't go back to Jujutsu Tech... Not yet.."
Yuji told Guin, a smile on his face as day slowly turns to dusk, and dusk to dark.
"Why not? It's getting dark, Itadori-kun..."
Guin mumbled softly, hiding her blushing face in her scarf again.
"Well, that's when the city gets even more pretty with all its lights."
He points out.
"Besides, I'd rather spent the rest of today with you. You know.."
He turns to her while they stand near the steps to Jujutsu Tech, gazing lovingly into each other's eyes.
The snowflakes began to slow down, once again dancing their little routine around Yuji and Guin as nightfall takes over.
"With someone I love..."
Guin's face couldn't help but warm up and turn a dark red.
Yuji pulled her scarf down to show her beautifully glossy lips, still staring into each other's eyes. Guin was about to back away though. Being as shy as she was, she was scared the whole time they were staring at each other. That was until Yuji suddenly leaned in, closing away any chance Guin had to run. Not like she wanted to anyway, she was happy here. In Yuri's grasp with not a care in the world besides the moment they are living in right now. Guin leaned in with him by instinct, their lips connecting and closing Guin's run away gap indefinitely. It makes it all the more better, that the city lights turned on just as it hit dusk. Guin would hate to leave Yuji or hate to leave this moment, so she's not going anywhere. No matter how shy she is.

to kiss the skin that crawls from you - barry berkman
Tumblr media
this is an au in which the shade of the blood depends on what kind of person you are. the blood is black if you do bad things etc etc.
tagging @a-second-hand-sorrow ily
---
cuts and scrapes were normal in childhood, and the frost-white blood that flowed from them was equally as normal.
it was in childhood that the blood was the purest.
the purest white, like snow.
it didn't stay that way, though.
in adulthood, when thoughts and deeds were less than innocent, the shade of blood would change accordingly.
evil things would darken the blood, your mother had always said. evil things would make your veins run black. black like the soot in the hearth, black like the raven.
and you knew she was right.
because you'd seen it.
when the mumbling, shaking, erratic man who your mother had always kept you away from had sliced himself open in the street, blood like coal pouring from him, you had seen it.
as it ran down the asphalt and pooled in the gutter, you watched, in morbid curiosity, before your mother shut the drapes.
it wasn't until later, much later, that you had learned of the many bodies that man had buried.
your own blood, now, was still white, not as pure as it was when you were growing up, but that was to be expected.
you had nothing to fear when you fell and scraped your hands or cut yourself while cooking, because whatever you bled was acceptable and nowhere near dark enough to indicate you were dangerous.
you knew a startling amount of people, though, who were reluctant to do anything that could result in the breaking of the skin.
when they did happen to cut themselves in front of you, you chose never to judge the varying shades of grey they would bleed. blood tore whole families apart. everyone has a past. everyone makes mistakes.
everyone.
even him.
he had captured your full attention from the moment he had shuffled into your coffee shop, looking lost and apologising quietly every time he brushed shoulders with someone.
he was also very, very attractive, but that wasn't the point.
it was late, really late.
he leaned against the counter, pulling out his wallet, and uttered his first words to you.
"hi, uh... black."
"sorry?"
"no, shit, sorry. um, black. coffee. please. can i... get one?" the man exhaled loudly, frustrated with himself. he looked fucking exhausted.
his soft, red rimmed blue eyes met yours for a moment, and you almost melted into the floorboards.
you blinked.
"rough night?" you asked, breaking the tension as you turned around to the coffee machine, flicking the switch.
"y-yeah, i... yeah. working on a scene for, um, my acting class. had to go to a difficult place."
"oh yeah?" you pulled down one of your biggest cups from the shelf, remembering how tired he looked.
"uh huh. it's great, though. the class. my teacher, uh, gene cousineau, he's a little much, but he says i have potential, yknow?"
looking over your shoulder, your stomach fluttered at the sight of his soft smile.
"i'm sure you do." you said, and a comfortable quiet settled over the shop. the only sound being the whirring of the coffee machine, the late night chatter of the last people in there, and the interesting man pulling up a stool.
the man, who you later learned was called barry, finished the large coffee in four gulps, placing it back down on the counter with a resounding clink.
he didn't make a move to ask for another, nor did he get up from his seat. he just... sat.
made him another coffee, however, because you were a barista and it was late and he was gorgeous and very tired looking.
"fuck! you're bleeding." barry exclaimed. you had handed him the other coffee, not even noticing that you'd sliced your finger on the foil of the coffee-bean bag.
"oh." you examined the small cut, wiping on your apron the white blood that had slid down into your palm. it hadn't hurt any. "it's fine. it's only blood." you shrugged, furrowing your brow slightly at his wide eyes.
"yeah... yeah, sorry. you're right."
you fell more than a little bit in love with him that night. his soft blue eyes and the way he spoke like he was being careful of something. the way he walked around as if he felt it was his job to hold everything up.
you wanted to just... hold his hand. and tell him it was going to be okay. whatever it was.
you also wanted him to jump your fucking bones, but you pushed that down and asked him if he wanted anything else to drink.
he said no, but yet he didn't leave. he spoke to you instead. asking tentative questions about your life and your family. you noticed how he stiffened when you asked him about his own, so you chose not to pry any further.
instead, you got him to laugh. a real, genuine laugh.
and your heart might as well have fallen out of your throat and landed on the table. holy fucking fuck, what a sound, that laugh.
it was a silly anecdote from your college days that shouldn't have made him laugh as hard as it did, but, regardless, it was wonderful to hear.
for the next couple of hours, you mopped the place while barry messed around with the jukebox and shot not-so-encouraging remarks from where he was perched on a table.
"mop harder, you fucking goose." was an interesting one.
"can i get your number?" he asked, at the end of the night when he was helping you close up. it was 3am.
you grinned, popping open a sharpie you used to write names on to-go cups and holding out your hand for his arm to write on.
he seemed to stop working for a second, starting blankly at your open palm. then he got it, and slid his arm into your hand, wrist up. he was warm.
you scribbled your number on the soft skin of his forearm, and smiled up at him.
and then you leaned forward on your tip toes and pressed a soft kiss to his cheek.
he blushed. hard.
"call me when you need a hug." you said. "because you look like you could do with one."
barry nodded, shooting you one of those small, barely-there smiles and heading out of the door.
not twenty-or-so seconds later, as you were hanging up your apron on the small metal hooks behind the counter, your phone buzzed in your pocket.
"hey. it's barry. from the coffee shop."
---
you'd been in love before, sure, but not like this. never like this.
"what're you doing, bear?" you mumbled in sleepy agitation, shifting as barry wrapped his arms around your waist, his chin coming to rest on your shoulder.
"m'just... i miss you."
"i'm right here, bear." you whispered, smiling despite yourself and leaning into his warmth.
"yeah but... i love you." barry kissed the nape of your neck lazily, holding you just a little tighter. not long after, his breathing evened out, and you knew he was asleep again.
much like the night in the cafe, you just about vomited your heart out.
it had been a while since then. almost six months.
six months of soft kisses and hard kisses and a lot of hand holding and 2am kitchen dances and lazy, sleepy early morning sex and barry being 110% interested in everything you had to say and running lines for his acting classes and you were in love with this man.
and that's why it was so hard for you to accept that there was something wrong.
because there was. but you loved him so much that it would've taken a gun to your head to get you to admit it.
it was around two in the morning, and you were dozing on your couch, a half empty beer bottle balancing precariously between your limp fingers. you couldn't quite remember what you were watching, but the dull crackle and mumble of the television and its meaningless, drawling voices alerted some deep, far away place in your head, not letting you completely fall away into sleep. it had been a long fucking day, right?
but something was off. even now, leaning back into the throw pillows, a blanket wrapped tightly around you, something was wrong. it wasn't only the tv that kept you from sleep. something sinister was afoot.
what it was, you didn't know, but you were about to find out.
when barry shuffled into your apartment, you almost didn't notice him. the only light in the apartment drifted slowly from the salt lamp on the shelf above the toaster, and his tall stature cast a looming shadow across the small apartment.
when you did notice him, it wasn't anything out of the ordinary. he did this a lot, coming over late to chat or run lines or have sex or watch tv, and you loved it. he had his own key.
what wasn't normal, however, was the blood.
the blood, unstaunched, grotesque upon his light grey sweater.
the blood that stained his trembling fingertips and came pouring from an open wound on his forehead.
and, suddenly, you were painfully awake.
the blood. sticky. hot.
black.
the blacker the soul, the blacker the blood, girl.
"barry..." it didn't sound like your voice. it was too small. like that of a child. "barry, what the fuck."
not him. not him. not him.
good god, please, not him.
but it was there, bleak as a bee.
tar-black and dripping, stark against the now sickly white kitchen tiles.
"baby, i-" his voice broke, no, his voice shattered. and then he was crying. he was fucking sobbing in your kitchen. such strangled sounds.
against your better judgement, against the poignant twisting in the pit of your stomach, you kicked off the blankets, stumbling over the couch and into the kitchen, where he stood, wrapping his arms around himself as if it would keep him together.
so you did it for him. you took him in your arms and held him so fucking tight. barely registering any of your actions and blinking away the tears that welled in your own eyes, stinging. biting.
"don't say a fucking word." you said, voice muffled by his blood-stained shirt. "don't."
---
when you kissed the tears from his cheeks, you tasted the blood.
barry hadn't needed stitches, thank god, but you had got him into the shower, cleaning the last traces of oil-black from his skin, pressing kisses along in your wake. barry was silent, allowing you to dry him and dress him and pull him into your bed, his head on your chest.
"not you." you said, allowing tears to fall. "i won't fucking lose you because of this."
"i'm... a bad person, baby."
"i don't fucking care."
"babe-"
"no. you're gonna go to sleep, 'kay? and tomorrow, you're going to tell me everything, and we'll deal with it then."
"why are you doing this for me?" he asked, his voice quivering.
"because i love you."
