you only get this one, the panel that i did first and tried out a new style with.
when i tried to do the other panels and replicate the style, my sanity started to crack and i was going on 17 attempts and was on the verge of tears so i had to just give up
im going to try again tomorrow but if i still cant get it then im going to either start from scratch or scrap the comic entirely
but this panel --despite being my personal hell-- is cute nonetheless. so here <3

2023 SLAYERS SECRET SANTA INFO AND SIGNUP FORM:
Hello! Please read over the following before signing up. Thank you!
What ‘Secret Santa’ Means: You create a fanwork, and you’ll receive one in return. Everyone who wishes to participate will provide prompts that they’d like to see completed, and another participant will be assigned their prompts and will complete one of those prompts (which one is completed is up to the person they’re assigned to).
When you submit your prompts, you are welcome (and encouraged) to tell me anything you are uncomfortable with or don’t wish to do (pairings, genre, rating, etc), that way the prompts you’re given are something you’re comfortable writing/drawing.

If you do not have a tumblr yourself, please put it in your bookmarks and remind yourself to check it often.
2) Can I ask for ____?
You can ask for whatever you want- rating, genre, etc. However, please keep in mind that if you’re asking for something super unusual, you might want to provide some broader prompts as well.

Signups will end on Thursday, November 30, 2023. That is all month to sign up!!
4) When is the deadline?
Please have your piece completed and posted by Wednesday, January 31, 2024. You can post your gift anytime starting from Monday, December 25, 2023.

Post it in your own tumblr and link it to us or tag us so we can reblog it over here. You may link to where your fanwork is posted off tumblr (to livejournal, dreamwidth, ff.net, ao3, deviantart, etc) in your post.
6) How long does fic have to be?
At least eight hundred words. It doesn’t need to be super-long of course, but we want everyone to get something that’s more than drabble length.
7) Are there any extra requirements for the art?
It can be done in any medium (digital, colored pencil, copic, sketch, etc). Just remember that this is a gift for someone, so make sure it’s a completed piece!
8) Can I do fancomics?
Yes. Absolutely.
9) What if I need to drop out?
Then I would ask you to please let me know as soon as possible (and before the December 25th deadline) so we can arrange a pitch hitter for you. Failure to notify me will ban you from future events.
10) What is a pitch hitter?
If someone has to drop out, I’d still like their giftee to get a gift. A pitch hitter is someone who is willing to do a second fanwork in order to make sure no one goes without a gift.
11) What type of prompts should I give?
Prompts can be anything from something vague like “Lina, Gourry, Amelia, and Zelgadis exchange gifts,” “Sylphiel and Martina go to the beach” to something specific like “I’d like to see a fic where Lina and Gourry are pulled into an undersea world. The two end up facing an ancient source of magic, and they must team up with many witch and wizard allies. I’d like if it featured Lina/Gourry and Zelgadis/Amelia, and if possible… some Filia/Valgaav? A happy ending, please!” You must give me three prompts or I cannot fairly give your requests to your Santa.

Hey! Listen! Housekeeping shit
to whomever emailed the link to their kemetic youtube, I DID get the link, I just have yet to actually go through and watch the videos to categorize them, so THANK YOU!!
I'm always open to people sending in their own stuff for sources, if you want to be added to the Resource page there are links at the bottom of that page to send the info, going through tumblr is a little less likely for me to see it lol. If you look through we have a LOT of open holes, especially with practices we don't do ourselves.
Me and the team of course go through and make sure that the info is not GLARINGLY wrong, so if it doesn't make it to the page don't fret! I will let you know why if it gets rejected!

im just going thru posts on which ive left tags to make original posts and so on (and perhaps one day migrate these posts to my neocities...)
but yeah re: afab/amab terms being used to create and reinforce the existing gender binary in language that imitates progress...
truly do not think we should use acronyms anymore, as catgirltoes said
but also i think these terms are bad precisely because, superficially, it seems they apply to more than one kind of discussion.
like for example healthcare is an offender because you try telling a guy who had a vaginectomy to get a pap smear because he's afab. using body parts is an obvious alternative
for social stuff, just because you're assigned something at birth doesn't mean you're raised as such, e.g. trans kids whose parents and doctors realize it young enough. and of course the assignment/raising thing is a fraught thing w/ intersex people too but im not intersex so im not gonna go into detail about it. just use raised as a (girl/boy) for (length of time) and for the love of transgender jesus do not make it an acronym
and the biggest thing on tumblr ive seen is for nsfw works, like "x afab reader" is such a huge thing on here that i blocked "afab" just to get the "x reader" shit out. this shit pisses me off because so often they dont even try to pretend its not meant for anyone who isnt a cis woman
and of course the afab-only and amab-only (rarer, but the post im responding to says it happens) event shit is just so.

First impressions of Tumblr's new login updates to the web
Opens on the "Explore" page, I guess it's nice because you can see what's on Tumblr before signing up
The new "Email first, password on next screen" layout does not work with Firefox's password manager
I use FF Relay for my email, so I need the email to auto-fill, but it does not
Suggestions
Separate the log-in from the sign-up. Right now they are already two different buttons that lead to the same action.
Put the email and password fields on the same page, and make sure they work with password managers.

Pirates may be considered evil by the majority, but Law had met quite a few of the world's navy who were corrupt to the core and putting up a very thick facade. He reasoned that if he was going to manipulate and scheme his way into that goal, at least he was going to be honest enough to admit it.

Is there ever a ‘wrong time’ to find a fic? (a 100k+ at 4am debatable, but shh). When I craved Heart Pirate content, this fic (and its sequel, still in progress but updating) appeared! Kidd and Penguin keep trying to murder each other and Law is done with their shit. He assigns them to take care of each other’s injuries so they’ll learn to get along. It doesn’t work.

What if the Third Hokage stopped the council before they could order Itachi to commit the Uchiha Clan Massacre? Itachi is one of the village's strongest ninja, and has now been given the task of being a Jonin sensei, assigned to Team 7 with his little brother Sasuke, the 'dead last' Naruto Uzumaki, and fangirl Sakura Haruno. This fairytale AU, however - reminding me very much of Sleeping Beauty except instead of sleeping it’s, well, what the summary says - is fantastically well done and addresses the strain such a thing would put on even the closest of family relationships.

Despairing as yet another timeline goes horribly wrong, Homura wanders into Karakura. There she discovers that while the spiritually-aware people of Karakura were distracted by Ichigo Kurosaki and Xcution, Kyubey had managed to contract the Kurosaki sisters as magical girls. Drawing the attention of the shinigami could be just the advantage Homura needs.

summer partners wanted!!!
Hey fellow writers, my name is Louise! <3 I’m an avid roleplayer, legal adult, and on the search for some new partners (obviously). For the sake of brevity, I’m going to try to keep this ad short, but just know I’m chatty when it comes to OOC talk! I’m your girl when it comes to creativity and plot twists, fun headcanons, world building, playlists, aesthetics, fanart, so on!
I write in third person, past tense. I’m also willing to write in present tense if that’s your style.
Quality of quantity. I mirror replies and comfortable with most lengths, ranging from a few paragraphs to a full-on essay. Nothing scares me, so if you’re verbose and love flowery prose, I’m not going to run the opposite direction. I can also do lazy lit, for all you Tumblr ~aesthetic~ people out there.
Proper grammar is a necessity. Anything goes for outside of roleplay in the OOC chat, though!
I like to have at least two mains to write, as I found only focusing on one can be a bit too boring. As for side characters, I like having a diverse cast to bring to life that we can sometimes share.
I love grey morality, tragic backstories, slow burn romances, unexpected plot twists, backstabbing, political and ideological conflicts, emotional intensity—anything that will have us screaming in the OOC chat. My writing is fueled by my passion for drama because I am 100% a messy bitch.
World building is something I LOVE, so never, ever be afraid to delve into that with me or want to bend/ignore canon in favor for our own set-up.
As for what I wish to roleplay, I have quite a few canon-verse I’d like to explore, as well as original ideas. Please note for canon-verses, I wish to only use original characters. I’m also fond of bending canon and implementing headcanons in place of certain things that we agree on.
HARRY POTTER. I’ve been in love with the wizarding world ever since elementary school and I’m afraid I’ll never tire of it. I would love to expand on lore and supplement the roleplay with our own, unique takes. I would love to either follow our own group of Hogwart (or Ilvermorny!) students over the course of several years, including their adult life in the magical world. While the premise is basic, perhaps we could replace Voldemort with our own source of conflict and reshape Hogwarts history to our liking. This plot would be open-ended and heavily character-driven! Something else I’d be interested in is taking the Triwizard Tournament and twisting it to be more inclusive to where the magical school of our choice would host one champion from every magical academy. I don’t have much else behind this idea, but I think it’d be fun to do!
ASOIAF: By far my biggest guilty pleasure, I wouldn’t be a true messy bitch if I didn’t want to take the Iron Throne for myself. (Before you ask, yes, I love Cersei.) I love ye olde fantasy, with cunning houses sprawled throughout our own land of fantasy and wonder. My main desire it to take the concept of ASOIAF/GOT where various houses and regions are all fighting a bloodied, dirty war full of political and personal drama. If you’re down to make our own royal houses, heirs, and backstabbing puppetmasters, I’m eagerly awaiting your email.
GOTHIC SUBURBIA: Remember that feeling you got while reading IT and watching Stranger Things for the first time? That’s a high I’m desperately trying to chase. Some other sources of aesthetic/plot inspiration can be drawn from Twin Peaks, Edward Scissorhands, Carrie, etc.. Think of a humdrum town where nothing extraordinary happens… until, well, something does. And that something is horrifying. I’m open to exploring anything creepy, ranging from the supernatural to killer cults. For this verse, I’d love to play with time and jump between our characters being kids/teens and adults. Whatever driving plot force we decide on, how did it change our characters overtime? What relationships are ruined, what are things they never got to say? What memories are skewed? What brought them all back together? This plot would be heavily character-driven!
HUNGER GAMES: What year is it? But seriously, I got this idea from an old roleplay partner that unfortunately ghosted, and I’ve been craving to do it again ever since. This verse would focus on our own, original victors of the Hunger Games and focus on their lives in the Capitol. I’d love to explore the trauma from the games and living in poverty to suddenly becoming a celebrity to rich, privileged people that see you as nothing more than a character. (Yes, Capitol citizens absolutely write self-insert fanfics about Victors, you cannot convince me otherwise.) There’s so much untapped depth to Victors! I’d also love to add more lore to the districts and create our own rebellion.

Shit, anon! I lost this ask entirely because I thought my tumblr glitched or you deleted it!! Don’t worry though, I’ll do my best to answer it and I hope you find out that I answered it. I’m really unsure about the notification system on tumblr currently.
So unfortunately, the paper you are talking about was never published because it was one of my earliest papers as an undergrad student, so it requires a lot of cleaning up before its anywhere close to publishable. If you would really like to read it, you can dm me privately, and I don’t mind emailing it at all. It wasn’t specifically about weaponised happiness, but rather the role of laughter in talking truth to power. The title of the paper is “MischiefManaged: The Interaction of Humour and Fantasy in Harry Potter.”
I’m going to take out some of the arguments I had originally written, so you can have a sense of the paper and the overarching thesis. I’ll also attach my bibliography under a Read More link. Anytime you see a line break, assume that I’m quoting from a different part of the paper!
“The regulation and order of theDursleys is a method of exercising control over Harry. Their sense of normalcycomes from having avoided this complex other world and from making sure Harrynever finds it. Hogwarts becomes a welcome world, one of mess and magic,disorder and laughter, where Harry finds himself through the contrasts.
Hogwarts becomes Harry’s escape – “frombeing the oppressed and ignored, Harry becomes the often feted cynosure. Frombeing alone, he gains the huge new family of the school and the domestic familyof the Weasleys, with whose children he becomes friends. From being without apurpose, his life is given structure and meaning.” (Manlove 186)
The world of Hogwarts is analternative – a carnival of belonging and acceptance. The normal rules do notoperate here, and Harry often notes this. The mirror image to life with theDursleys is in life with the Weasleys, a motif that repeats itself both in anemotional acceptance and a physical difference. For instance:
Lifeat The Burrow was as different as possible from life in Privet Drive. TheDursleys liked everything neat and ordered; the Weasleys’ house burst with thestrange and unexpected. Harry got a shock the first time he looked in themirror over the kitchen mantelpiece and it shouted, ‘Tuck your shirt in,scruffy!’ The ghoul in the attic howled and dropped pipes whenever he feltthings were getting too quiet, and small explosions from Fred and George’sbedroom were considered perfectly normal. What Harry found most unusual aboutlife at Ron’s, however, wasn’t the talking mirror or the clanking ghoul: it wasthe fact that everybody there seemed to like him. (Rowling, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets 23)
Themad world of Hogwarts gives Harry the language to rebel against the Dursleys.Magic becomes a liberating force, and, interestingly, we find this languagetranslated into humour. One of the first instances of the Dursleys being unableto bully Harry is in Hagrid’s arrival. Hagrid’s response to Vernon Dursley’sattempts to control the situation are simple – giving Dudley Dursley a pig’stail. This comical image is meant to invoke laughter in us, and seems to teachHarry as well. Harry’s first active act of rebellion against the Dursleysoccurs in Harry Potter and the Prisonerof Azkaban, where Harry blows his Aunt Marge up. Images of comic releaseare used alongside magic for both the young audiences, and the larger politicalpoint being made about translating the language of resistance. Magic existsbetween gaps of reality and unreality; interacting with humour allows it tobecome a powerful statement against overpowering authority.”
“By creating this identity, thearistocratic ‘Purebloods’ ensure a binary between the two identities. Bylocating this identity within a body, a target is created, and the way theauthority interacts with this body determines the nature of this body. It isthis very body that is later punished. This identity itself is constructed:there is no definite way of being able to trace a bloodline back to itssources, and as the ‘trimmed’ portions of the Black family tree demonstrate,almost all the so-called ‘Pureblood’[1] families have a certainamount of ‘Muggle Blood’ mixed in. However, they very naming of the blood status is what allows the society to assumethere are differentiations.
Thenaming itself gives authority figures like Dolores Umbridge the legal authorityto ‘cleanse’ the Wizarding society. Nomenclature is crucial in the creation ofa shared enemy – similar to the innocuous ‘Mudblood,’ Voldemort’s regime in theMinistry of Magic brings out similar chilling identifications. Emily AsherPerrin analyses that Harry is termed an “Undesirable” (Rowling, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows 190) – once again, aninnocuous term, once stripped of the political connotations. Therefore, thesocietal situation created by the very existence of the term ‘Mudblood’ is whatallows a Voldemort, and, more importantly, an Umbridge.
The segregation of identities occursbetween racially different creatures, as well. The most touted example for thiswould be the treatment of the Houselves. Once again, common place, everydaynames and objects are used to define their identity. Wizards have the privilegeof defining their relationship with Houselves, and lack of education ensuresthat they will never find a framework outside this definition to operate in.”
“Thelanguage Harry learns to assert his identity against the Dursleys is intimatelysimilar to the language that the youngsters of Harry’s communities have tolearn to assert their identities against legally sanctioned authority figures.Harry’s wit and sarcasm against figures who hold power over them is a commontrope within the Dursley household; the threshold is crossed when he uses thesame language to speak to figures like Severus Snape and Dolores Umbridge:

Wedo not necessarily see Harry directing sarcasm and wit towards teachers beforethis – Professor Umbridge breaks this barrier, and we see Harry rebellingagainst the corrupted undercurrent of the world he loves so well. His responseto this corruption is similar to his response towards the Dursleys, accessing alanguage of ridicule and mockery to make his point.
The effect this has is manifold: themethod to critique authority becomes humour. By belittling Umbridge’s ideas,Harry is able to expose how hollow they are. This method also helps to establisha sense of community: since humour is a function of a shared set of values, wesee its use as a tool of rebellion a way to unite a voiceless minority. NevilleLongbottom articulates this himself, when he points out “It helps when peoplestand up to them, it gives everyone hope. I used to notice that when you didit, Harry.” (Rowling, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows 432) Oppression and restrictions are battledby communities, communities willing to laugh at the ones who create theseoppressive structures.”
“The schoolwide campaign of pranksagainst Umbridge is instigated by them [Harry and Friends], used by them to undermine herauthority, to make her rules seem worthless and arbitrary. Their act oftransgression has interesting consequences, for the community that they aretrying to bring together. “Now you mention it,’ said Hermione happily, ‘d’youknow ... I think I’m feeling a bit ... rebellious,” (Rowling, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix 533) becomes a sentimentthat gives the language of rebellion to the students of Hogwarts, many of whomhave not faced ideology in operation before Umbridge. In fact, expressinghumour in the face of oppression seems to erase “signs of fear” from Fred’scountenance. The creation of the Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes is what allowsstudents to access this sense of power over Umbridge, and it is usedeffectively against her over and over again.
The similarities between Umbridge’sregime and Voldemort’s regime are uncanny. As a foreshadowing, Harry’sexperience with Umbridge teaches him how to articulate himself againstVoldemort’s claims to power. When Harry attempts to infiltrate the Ministryduring the rule of Voldemort, hidden under the political façade of PiusThickness, once again, the products developed by Fred and George Weasley. DecoyDetonators, Extendable Ears, Skiving Snackboxes, and other pranks are used toinfiltrate a serious political institution, and used effectively. The Weasley’sWizard Wheezes becomes a rallying cry for humour even during the time whenVoldemort is at large, without the legal sanction of the Ministry. “U No Poo” (Rowling, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince 91)is a masterminded subversion of the Voldemort’s attempt to construct hisidentity as something larger-than-life. Voldemort uses names to terrify peopleinto submission. By making his very name inaccessible, he makes his identityuntouchable, inconceivable and fearsome. The prank created by Fred and Georgeis extremely clever in the way it recaptures this space, reducing Voldemort’sunspeakable terror into something that everyone can access withoutapprehension.”

STORYBOARD PORTFOLIOS
Iiiiiiiit’s that time of year again! CTN is just around the corner, and I’m getting ye olde’ classic Storyboard Portfolio questions! First up, my words don’t reflect the opinions of my employer. I’m speaking from my personal years of job hunting, and two years of pro experience. SO HERE’S WHAT I GOT
HAVE A DEDICATED PORTFOLIO WEBSITE: A special tumblr or a blogspot or a squarespace site that is ONLY your porftolio. Don’t link to a general tumblr or twitter site. Have a web-space where the only images are your portfolio pieces! If you want people to see more, stick your general tumblr info on your--
COVER SLIDE: An image of your choosing with your NAME and CONTACT INFO. This means an email address you check often. It’s a good idea to have the email address be some form of your name--not only does that look more professional, it will help recruiters remember, y’know, your name.
Now for the actual story boarding stuff.
DRAW for the SHOWS you WANT TO BOARD ON. If you wanted to board on a cool show with lots of martial arts actions scenes, but only have cute bunny and kitty storyboards, you won’t get that gig.
A good, succinct portfolio has 3-5 story sequences. This means simple, one-shot stories following a character driven by a clear goal. (examples: a dog pulling off a heist, a wizard kid has to pass his final, a ballerina assasin who has to take out a clown) It MUST HAVE a beginning, a middle, and an end--or, in story terms--
SET UP, ACTION, CONCLUSION.
Let’s go with the dog heist example.
SET UP: Show the dog outside the bank--set up what obstacles she has to go through (automatic doors, a very strict “NO DOGS ALLOWED” sign, slippery floor)
ACTION: How does the dog get past the doors? Does she disguise herself as an old man? Does she try to sneak in a baby stroller?
CONCLUSION: having made it past all the obstacles--does the dog ultimately succeed or fail? Maybe you’ve tricked the audience and she’s not trying to rob the bank, just get ear scratches from her owner, the bank manager. Are you gonna end on a joke or a gut punch?
These sequences can be anywhere from 50 to 200 boards! It’s good to have varying lengths, to show you can tell shorter or longer stories. Now, you might have a--
BOARD ADAPTATION: Maybe a boarded song from a musical, or a sequence from your favorite books (GUILTY). This one can be longer than the others! But remember, a sequence like this requires familiarity with the source material and maybe the recruiter hasn’t read the book/heard the play. This needs a cover image as well--let’s say I re-imagined a scene from the Adventure Zone. A cover image must have a short set-up of the source material and CREDIT THE ORIGINAL CREATORS.
Example: The self-involved wizard Taako has taken on his very first student--the eager boy-detective, Angus McDonald. Based on a scene from The Adventure Zone podcast by the McElroys.

HOW TO DISPLAY: NOT. ANIMATICS. Well, to clarify, not JUST animatics.
Many recruiters and story directors like to flip through the boards at their own pace, so they can study the drawings. It’s better to have your boards as a slideshow to flip through, or laid out in sheets with 9-12 boards on a page. In the industry, most board artists don’t edit their boards, so they aren’t looking at your editing skills. They want to see if your drawings have clarity without hearing the dialogue or leaning on the mood of the music. You CAN have animatics on your website, but make sure you also have your boards displayed.

Smeraldo: What we know so far lol
The source code of the blog contains words like 스메랄도 = smeraldo and 석진꽃 = seokjin flower Ok, so the things I’m about to say are NOT PROVEN to have a relationship with BTS’s comeback, but the possibilities are high so stay with me cause I'll go quick in 5,6,7,8 (I’m so sorry)
THE STORY OF SMERALDO

There's a story called, 'La Città di smeraldo' that takes place in a small town in Italy in the 1500s-1600s.
The story's about an 'ugly' man who hid in an old castle alone. Because of his looks he received lots of hate & cruelty while growing up, he never opened his heart to anyone. Whenever they tried to approach him, he hid in anger. His happiness was to plant flowers in his garden.
One day a woman appeared near the man's castle. She jumped over the garden fence and stole a flower. this angered the man at first, so he watched his garden all night. But when he fell a sleep, the woman took another flower. This continued for several nights.
The man pretended to be asleep and watched the woman steal a flower. He started becoming curious about the woman. He began waiting for her
without realizing he kept waiting for her to come and the next day seemed a little brighter.
Following after her one day he realized that she was selling the flowers that she stole from him to make a living. The man desperately wanted to help the woman,
but he was afraid she would be terrified by the way he looks. He knew she would not love his 'grotesque' appearance.
He came to a conclusion that the only way he would be able to help her is to let her continue stealing flowers from his garden.
The man decided to make a flower that doesn't exist on the planet, so that the woman could sell them at an expensive price.
He began to make the flower in his castle. After many unsuccessful attempts, the man made a flower that didn't exist and filled his garden,but the woman stopped coming. No matter how long he waited, she never came to his garden. He eventually found out that the woman had died.
BigHit representatives revealed that bts' next comeback's theme will be about loving yourself. In the story the man did not love himself.
If he had loved himself he could have showed his face to the woman, and helped her before she had passed away.

Jin tweeted a selca today, holding the Smeraldo flowers. These flowers were, according to a screenshot, discovered on june 12, 2013; the day of BTS’s debut showcase stage.

It has posted a picture, that says in korean: “The true feelings that could not be expressed”
The handwriting looks oddly like Jin’s writing, check for yourself:
This account is believed to be owned by BTS, posting hints.
With the (fake) discovery of this smeraldo flower, the florist "Testesso" is gonna "open" a flower shop mid-september, I smell a comeback. (Check their captions and bio for more info since my Korean is very very poor!)
The name of the blog is “te stesso”. If you translate the Italian phrase: “Ama te stesso” into English, you get “love yourself.” Haven’t we heard this before, guys?
In every post, there’s a link to a certain website: www.flowersmeraldo.com
This website leads you to a Korean Naver blog, which is also (obviously) believed to be owned by BTS.

Also,the meaning of the Smeraldo flower is "non potevo dire la verità,” which means "i couldn't tell the truth" or "the truth i couldn't tell.”

The stories have to be emailed and submitted before august 15th, 10pm kst. The last Bon Voyage episode also happens to be on this day. Maybe it’s a special date? :)
There are 7 episodes on the blog explaining the history of Smeraldo and the 5th mentions a "William Ashbless" who is a fictional character, and a poet.
The fictional William Ashbless from Italy created playing cards and the blog mentions "The flower card", influenced by Smeraldo flowers.
The Smeraldo flowers were supposedly discovered in "La Città di smeraldo" = "The emerald city", commonly known from Wizard of Oz.
Lastly, this blog was created july 4, 2017, on the same day the BTS logo video was released.

The New Moon in Leo occurs on July 31st, 2019. This New Moon will be a black moon because it is the second new moon in the month of July. These are auspicious moons that have a special significance. It is rare to have two New Moons occur in a month, and this is setting us up for an entirely new journey from where we started in early July. So much has happened this month we are in an entirely new space from where we began.
We entered the Day out of Time on July 25th, followed by the Galactic New Year on July 26th. This began an entirely new 13 year cycle called the White Wizard. This is a time of harnessing our power, our magic, and using it to transform ourselves, our experience, and to be co-creators of this New Earth.
This New Moon in Leo will be conjunct both the Sun and Venus, who are also in Leo. These three planets are breaking us out of our shells and our self-created boxes of limitations, and begging us to shine as brightly as we can. Leo rules expression, creativity, child-like wonder, courage, and uniqueness. We have all made it through the tumultuous eclipse season where we saw the push/pull energies between Cancer (the Mother), and Capricorn (the Father). Our inner masculine and feminine were in a tug of war, pushing us to seek reconciliation between the two. This occurred on both an internal and external level. The masculine were pushed to surrender to MotherGod as Prime Source Creator and the divine feminine as the leaders of this ascension, the sacred holders of the divine wisdom.
Now that we have released, healed, and come to more wholeness within, we are to show this to the rest of humanity. We are being asked to step up more boldly into our roles and to fearlessly be who we are. We are all extensions of MotherGod, all fractals of the same Source. Each are unique and the whole would not be complete without each ONE. We have been on the journey of self-discovery for eons of time in these physical bodies. It is now the moment we are accept our divine heritage, our spiritual gifts and our truth, and BE it.
This New Moon will be squaring Uranus in Taurus, planet of evolution, sudden change and growth. Uranus is Taurus is breaking down all of the old paradigm constructs that kept us addicted to material items, external appearances, and seeking external security to validate us. The New Moon in Leo is squaring off with Uranus meaning many beings will experience sudden shakeups in regard to what they “value” and what they are holding onto. Attachment to people, places, things, belief systems, all will be shattered. This is for our ultimate highest growth as we cannot know who we truly are (Leo) unless we let go of everything that has been part of our false construct of self (Taurus).
We can expect sudden earth changes and wild weather patterns to continue. After all, Taurus does rule the physical Earth as well as the physical body. Mother Earth is no longer asking for humanity to choose love, She is requiring it in order to remain a part of this ascension. She is clearing massive amounts of planetary density in order to keep rising us up on the spiral of ascension, and only those willing to surrender to love will be rising with Her.
Uranus will also be squaring off with Venus in Leo during this New Moon. Venus represents the feminine, what our hearts value and how we show love. MotherGod, THE most divine feminine will no longer tolerate the disrespect and resistance of the masculine. The masculine have long been separated from the feminine and their true Mother as their ability to feel and love was completely shut down. Their wounds kept them in separation and it has been a long journey back home. Uranus squaring Venus is not only going to cause a massive awakening within the masculine, but also revelations and aha-moments for the feminine. Leo rules the solar plexus, our divine seat of power. Mother is getting her power back and in turn, so are the divine feminine.
All that has been falsely clung to as “love”will be dissolved. Foundations built upon lies are crumbling. The validation, unworthiness, and seeking outside oneself for love is now coming to an end. Rise up in the power of your own divinity. Love yourself, as an aspect of Source, and in turn you can love Mother. Mother is returning to her full power as the leader and Prime Source Creator. It is now time for the feminine to rise up with her, to be the vessels of light she created us to be and to walk along side her as we enter the final phase of mission ascension. We are witnessing the resurrection of the feminine power, as we return home to our Divine Blueprint and our destiny.

2022 SLAYERS SECRET SANTA INFO AND SIGNUP FORM:
Hello! Please read over the following before signing up. Thank you!
What ‘Secret Santa’ Means: You create a fanwork, and you’ll receive one in return. Everyone who wishes to participate will provide prompts that they’d like to see completed, and another participant will be assigned their prompts and will complete one of those prompts (which one is completed is up to the person they’re assigned to).
When you submit your prompts, you are welcome (and encouraged) to tell me anything you are uncomfortable with or don’t wish to do (pairings, genre, rating, etc), that way the prompts you’re given are something you’re comfortable writing/drawing.
Rules and Regulations:
1) Watch this tumblr! If you do not have a tumblr yourself, please put it in your bookmarks and remind yourself to check it often.
2) Can I ask for ____? You can ask for whatever you want- rating, genre, etc. However, please keep in mind that if you’re asking for something super unusual, you might want to provide some broader prompts as well.
3) How long do I have to signup? Signups will end on Wednesday, November 30, 2022. That is two weeks to sign up!!
4) When is the deadline? Please have your piece completed and posted by Tuesday, January 31, 2023. You can post your gift anytime starting from Sunday, December 25, 2022.
5) How do I post it? Post it in your own tumblr and link it to us or tag us so we can reblog it over here. You may link to where your fanwork is posted off tumblr (to livejournal, dreamwidth, ff.net, ao3, deviantart, etc) in your post.
6) How long does fic have to be? At least eight hundred words. It doesn’t need to be super-long of course, but we want everyone to get something that’s more than drabble length.
7) Are there any extra requirements for the art? It can be done in any medium (digital, colored pencil, copic, sketch, etc). Just remember that this is a gift for someone, so make sure it’s a completed piece!
8) Can I do fancomics? Yes. Absolutely.
9) What if I need to drop out? Then I would ask you to please let me know as soon as possible (and before the December 25th deadline) so we can arrange a pitch hitter for you. Failure to notify me will ban you from future events.
10) What is a pitch hitter? If someone has to drop out, I’d still like their giftee to get a gift. A pitch hitter is someone who is willing to do a second fanwork in order to make sure no one goes without a gift.
11) What type of prompts should I give? Prompts can be anything from something vague like “Lina, Gourry, Amelia, and Zelgadis exchange gifts,” “Sylphiel and Martina go to the beach” to something specific like “I’d like to see a fic where Lina and Gourry are pulled into an undersea world. The two end up facing an ancient source of magic, and they must team up with many witch and wizard allies. I’d like if it featured Lina/Gourry and Zelgadis/Amelia, and if possible… some Filia/Valgaav? A happy ending, please!” You must give me three prompts or I cannot fairly give your requests to your Santa.
12) I have another question! Then please ask it via our askbox (anon asks are enabled).

Updated info on DIY testosterone guide; old link got taken down but I reached out to the email on the version I archived and they pointed me to the new version, which is hosted on a wiki that includes DIY estrogen info. Unfortunately, DIY doesn't mean Walter White-style bathtub hormones

Tried making my buttons more accessible, but it's a WIP. Right now, you can click on the main buttons to enlarge text (which means that they are now actual button elements, instead of div elements), but you can't toggle it back.
