Substack alternatives?
So Substack is making some... questionable decisions regarding hosting alt-right and outright Neo-Nazi content. This article on Mashable seems to summarize things pretty well:
I was thinking of mirroring some of my original content on Substack, for people who aren't on Tumblr to find, but now that's... kind of an iffy proposition. Even if people don't leave Substack in a hurry over this, the rise of the alt-right side of the site means that a trans blogger like me might be in for some trouble if I stick around.
So... anyone know of Substack alternatives? Ones that people actually use? The article mentions two but I've never heard of them. I've heard of Buttondown, I think it was, on Blusky.

What was the first K-drama you watched that made you want to watch even more Korean shows? It’s different for everyone. For some, it may have been 2021’s “Squid Game,” while for others it could’ve been 2002’s “Winter Sonata” that drew them in.
For my latest K-Culture with Jae-Ha Kim newsletter, I gave a lot of thought to what I’ve heard repeatedly from readers here (and on social media over the years) about the shows that drew them in. Here, I’ve reviewed seven K-dramas that hundreds (thousands?) of people have told me were their gateway show.

"I often joke about how being a monk is my ultimate calling, but asceticism seems too easy a pillar to attach myself to. Maybe the awareness that I have sought from Headspace sessions and running over the years was housed in the presence that comes from the cessation of a constant performance for strangers. The search for a good life ‘out there’ was a cop-out of the good life everywhere around me. And even if four months is too early to celebrate this new way of seeing, so be it. If we're not supposed to dance, why all this music?"
— celebrating early and the search for a good life

Happy Wednesday. How is everyone holding up?
I twinged my left arm today so I'm taking it (somewhat) easy tonight. Just wanted to drop a link to my Substack in case you aren't subscribed!
I'm working on building my newsletter so I'd really appreciate if you check it out 🦄 I just started a series all about character building, I'm very excited about it.
Other updates: A couple nights ago I finished the 2nd draft of The Candy King! It felt so good to have my first official novella under my belt. So, that's resting for a while.
I also finished a developmental edit today on a book about tarot for one of my clients. It was a wonderful experience editing it, and I have several slots open at the moment in case your story needs a fresh perspective.
All the info you need is at arieljensine.ink <3
And one last thing--I'm looking for new members for my writing discord server! If you're interested, shoot me a DM and I'll hook you up with an invite to the server of your choice.
Much love, writer friends! Take care of yourselves, it's rough out there. Happy writing!

What does it take to just be Do I sit like this, do I look like that What does it take to just be From the cuts on my wrist to my backwards cap What does it take to just be Do I ball up my fists, do I have to fight back What does it take to just be From the marks on my hips to imperfections and fat What does it take to just be Do I walk in the trap just to get my face slapped What does it take to just be From my eyes now bruised black and the cuts on my back What does it take to just be Do I have to react just to stop the attacks What does it take to just be Me?
