“Meet Your Maker” - Close-Ups under the cut

Evidently the robot soap opera inspires at least one angst comic each year.

It’s wild to me to compare this to my first real comic when I first found the fandom. I’m so proud of how far I’ve come.

Similar to the Solar piece, this is also the first thing I thought of when I saw the episode. My headcanon evidently is Dadcode is a caring angel of death, watching over wayward sparks that cross over.

Bloodmoon deserved better, but they didn’t heed Kill Code’s advice and kept getting used. So sad. Still sad..

simon putting the plates on the highest shelf of the cupboard just so you can ask him for help. the bonus is seeing the way your body stretches as you go to your tippy toes and something about the clear height (and size) difference between you two does something to him :(

simon always walking into the room and doing that thing where they lean their hand on the top of the door frame. it always, always, makes your mouth run dry and your tongue feel heavy, and simon relishes in the way you stammer at your words.

simon stretching and deliberately grazing the fuckin ceiling with his hand so that you see just how tall he is.

simon slightly hunching his back and tilting his head towards you to hear you better. then he does that quiet (and genuine), “hmm?” when he didn’t catch what you said so you repeat it again, this time your head jutted up towards his ear. it just emphasizes his ridiculous height.

simon being the barrier between you and anyone else in a crowded room, his big hand dwarfing your own as he guides you. he’s always got his body angled towards you just so you can avoid being jostled by others.

my fave? simon still doing all these when you’re also tall. not as tall as him, yes, but you’re not any slouch in the height department too. he does it because he loves pampering you; loves showing off just how easily he can make you his (pillow and spoiled) darlin if you want to. if you let him.
