In Need of Help (Teiko! Murasakibara X Reader GN drabble)
Warnings: bribery, and the bullying of disabled kids. Y/N had enough of it. Your best friend kept getting picked on by Haizaki, but the bastard was sneaky enough to do it whenever teachers weren’t present. Lke the male locker room, where every time after P.E, you’d find Haizaki the last to leave and your friend nowhere to be found.  You’d ask for the teacher to go look for him, and then you’d always find him in the locker room, bawling his eyes out over something Haizaki did. Haizaki would generally wait until everyone was clothed, but your best friend, being on the spectrum, had a particular fondness of water and just couldn’t resist taking a long ass shower. He’d always be the last one to start dressing. He had tried to take quick showers like everyone, but the anxiety of having to face Haizaki only crippled him and made him stay where he felt safe; under the shower. But he couldn’t stay there forever. Ensuring Haizaki had some time alone with your best friend.  You were absolutely LIVID. So you had created a plan. Considering Haizaki would typically pick on him when he was already dressing, there wouldn’t be any nudity involved if he managed to film Haizaki. But that would mean planting a camera that he could turn on unsuspiciously in the locker room. And you didn’t had one. The AV club had one, but after a small accident with the projector the club room was closed for the rest of the month. It was totally possible to sneak in, but you were in need of assistance to distract the school’s receptionist. With your best friend being a doomsday thinker, he’d only overthink it and he was a crappy liar so he wouldn’t be good at distracting her. You needed someone else. Someone who wouldn’t mind exposing Haizaki for his ableist bullying. Someone who disliked Haizaki enough to take the risk. After keeping an eye on him for a few days, and trying to note if he had any particular enemies, your eye fell on a purplette.  Murasakibara, a handsome boy on the same basketball team, who was often annoyed with Haizaki’s failed attempts to steal his food. You were smirking the entire time during lunch, being unable to take your eye of your potential ally.
About a week long, you had studied Murasakibara, and arguably developped a crush. You might just be a little in denial about it. But it had given you enough insight, that this boy had some food addiction going on. You were happy that you had went to London on the previous vacation, and still had some candy left. Foreign candy seemed like the perfect bribery material, and even if Murasakibara didn’t wanted to, you could at least offer it to have him shut up about your plans before you moved onto your next target. It was lunch break, and you found him sitting with Akashi and Midorima in the music room. “Murasakibara! Can I talk to you, in private?” You asked him. He blinked at you with an almost sleepy expression ”Sure, but who are you?” He asked as he stood up, trailing after you. “That is besides the point. I need your help.” “Ugh, really?” “Yes. Murasakibara, this is important!,” you turned around, facing him directly. “My best friend is getting bullied by this guy on your team, Haizaki. I need to catch him, but for that, I need you to distract the receptionist. If everything works out, he might get suspended and you don’t have to worry about him trying to steal your food anymore, plus, I have actual British candy.”  You held your bag up, hoping he understood your rambling. You figured if you didn’t spit it out your deal in one go, he could get bored with the conversation. He didn’t seem like someone with a long attention span to you. “So, you’ll give me foreign candy if I distract the receptionist?” Murasakibara asked you, cutting to the point of your deal. “Yes.”  “Okay.” He said, trying to take the bag. “No, Murasakibara, not until you held up your end of the bargain.” You said, wagging your finger and trying to look as strict as possible, which you couldn’t, because his eyes shining when he was looking at the bag was just so adorable. The two of you walked to the reception, your plan coming into action. You sported a maniacal grin, the rush of going to do something forbidden getting to you. Murasakibara on the other hand, just kept glancing at you and your bag. He was a simple man. “Now, please go tell the receptionist about there being a leak in the male bathroom on the second floor. But try to beat around the bush for a bit, stall her as I grab the keys to the AV club room.” Then, you hurried a tiny bit ahead, slowly passing the school’s reception. You dropped your bag once you were around the corner, waiting for Murasakibara to approach. You spotted him going sluggishly to the receptionist, her long graying hair pulled back into a bun so tight you wondered why her eyes weren’t popping out yet.  “Ehm, hello,” he said, as he stood still in front of her, your cue to slowly start crawling back around the corner, praying to the heavens no one else was going to go to the reception during lunch. “Hello. Is there something you need?” The woman asked, curtly. “Yeah, I am coming to report something.” Murasakibara drawled out, as you silently crawled near her and her desk. Your heart was pounding so hard, you could hear your own heartbeat. You were behind her as you heard her ask, “Well, what do you come to report?”  “There is a leak.” Murasakibara replied, trying his best to focus on the woman’s face and not on you, as you slowly picked the key of the AV club room from the key rack. “A leak? Where?”  You slowly crawled back, trying not to screw up at the last minute. “The male bathroom.”  The receptionist sighed, sounding like she was beginning to get annoyed with him as you just crawled past her desk, you could feel your palms beginning to sweat. “Which floor?”  You sped up, trying to be as quick as possible. You had made a squeaking sound as you passed the corner, and you nearly let out a ‘shit’ which made you instinctively bite your tongue. But Murasakibara quickly covered for you. “Second floor.” You were breathing really fast by the time you got back to your bag with candy, and you heard the sounds of her standing up. As she left to go see, Murasakibara slipped back to you. Still feeling your heart pound, you wordlessly handed him the bag. “Thanks.” He accepted it, and threw you a long look. You stared back silently, his purple eyes almost seeming to capture your soul. “But you still haven’t told me your name.” You blinked, surprised he actually wanted to know. “it’s L/n Y/N.” He stared at you one more final time before he walked off, munching on your candies. “See you later Y/n-chin.”

Hana is the name I decided to give to the brunette who flirted with Haizaki in s3

Chapter 1, Kise’s POV
»»————— ☼ —————««
Addressed to Kise Ryōta:
You will meet your soulmate in a place where there are many other people. You will have your first real encounter with them in a place where you always spend your time through the years. Be careful to keep track of where you are at all times. Your soulmate is always with company, and they are never lonely. You must be careful to not actively seek out for your fated encounter, for you’ll certainly miss them. You must remain committed and seek out things that keep you steady and motivated. Only then is it possible for your soulmate to come to you instead.
Kise would like to think he’s a romantic at heart—cheesy guy even, but on the other hand, he actively scoffs at the letter’s content… that he’s had memorized for years now. He has no choice on the matter of whether or not he’ll remember it. Not when his “letter” was just a measly paragraph. He remembered being awfully jealous and whiny of his past classmates bringing their 2-page letter to class to show off and getting the “ooh’s” and “ah’s” from everyone else. That was one sure-fire way to distinguish yourself from the crowd and make a name for yourself. Over the years, Kise’s learned that it would become a separate type of “popularity hierarchy,” whereas those with the most elaborate, mysterious, or unique soulmate letters are the ones at the top of the social ladder. Bonus points if it somehow involves all three factors.
And somehow, he also ended up at the popular side of that hierarchy too. Not like he cared, but it’s wildly convenient sometimes to get what you want from people. Still, no benefits from being popular this way could ever outweigh the massive inconveniences; he made the grievous mistake of revealing his letter contents to a casual friend in “good-natured fun.” And before he knew it, the entire school ended up knowing about it too… and then the entire neighborhood… and somehow, it went even into the ears beyond that.
Thus, it started his chronic illness of being tailed after by girls of all backgrounds. With no cure in sight for the ailment that he certainly didn’t ask for. It’s almost terrifying how a single day transformed every single girl into a parasitic bee on a search for the brightest, most colorful flower. Kise, already popular for his looks to begin with, suddenly was shoved under a more blinding spotlight of public scrutiny. If he was going to be completely honest… he liked it… at first. The newfound attention was euphoric and foreign, and he relished in it. But just like anything else, it got… boring.
Some might call it the ultimate blessing: it could make searching for a soulmate much easier and less effort on his end, they’d argue. Kise had come to beg to differ. Not when hundreds of the same faces with hundreds of clamors claimed and cried that they were his soulmate. How do fourteen girls suddenly have the “other half of the puzzle” to his own letter when there were… thirteen other girls claiming the same thing?
See, one soulmate gets a letter describing a general location of where they’d meet their soulmate. The other soulmate gets a letter describing a general timeframe of when they’d meet. Not like it actually helps narrowing down the process of pairing up people. Because he knows this shit can take years—decades, in fact—before he can even get a first glimpse of his soulmate. And the ordeal of people constantly screaming in his face that the time they’d meet their soulmate is now and hence, “it must be Kise” got old really quickly.
It’s utterly stupid. Who does this sender think they are to decide how Kise gets to live his life? What type of sadistic game were they playing by forcing the other soulmate to have the other half of the information, which would be, no doubt, just as annoyingly cryptic?
He stopped denying all the rumors of a girl claiming to be his soulmate; for every rumor he clarified and quashed during his naive youth, three more sprung up the next week. Ignoring them sounds counterintuitive, but when he allows the many rumors and girls to multiply and fester, the number of annoyances are still relatively the same: nearly infinite.
Such has become the life of Kise Ryōta.
Worst part of this whole damn thing was, he won’t be able to know when he’d meet his soulmate, not until he shares a “kiss of genuine integrity” with them… and he doesn’t even know where to begin with that requirement. Supposedly, after you kiss the right person with the right intention, something changes in the mysterious letter that would indicate he found the soulmate. Problem is, it’s different for everyone: some get a drawing of their soulmate at the end of the letter; some simply have the name of their soulmate written at the end; some get an engraved stamp; and the list goes on and on. The main takeaway from it all is that his letter should have a visible change at the end… if he could even get to that point at this rate.
“Oh my gosh…! Is that—That’s Kise-kun!!”
“Eh?! Where, where?! Let me see!”
This is ludicrous. What kind of deity up there decided to put a twisted spin on this sappy, fairy tale trope? He gives a harsh exhale before he puts up a polite smile and continues on with his day. His first day at Teiko.
“Please join our club…!” Several girls huddle around the table, eager to show the good-looking boy their information trifold-cardboard and flyers. Unsurprisingly, every single one of them had eyes of ulterior motive. At the sight, Kise resists the urge to roll his eyes at them. He stands there for a bit, watching their mouths move, but in truth, he’s not hearing a single thing out of them.
This girl looks decent… her hair is a bit weird, though.
Oh, she sure has a strange accent… and this girl has odd eyebrows.
Ugh, this one talks too much at a too-high pitch.
“Ah… well…” He puts up a chagrined smile, not knowing where to look before he smoothly waves goodbye. “I have something else to check out. Keep yourselves well, ladies!” With that, he immediately prepares his ears for shrieks of admiration and lovesickness.
Good riddance.
———
As much as he hates to admit it, he still doesn’t know what that letter exactly means to this day. Some of the sentences that consider themselves as “hints” or “instructions” are way too vague to be considered such.
He begrudgingly opens up the envelope containing the letter for the umpteenth time again. Kise sits on his desk in his own room, illuminated by the sunlight filtering through the glass pane. Floating dust particles are instantly revealed where the light hits, but he doesn’t care, his attention only on what’s important. Chin on his desk, Kise lays the envelope and letter on the flat surface, trying to see what he could be missing. By now, the paper is slightly worn out from years of Kise thumbing, flipping, inserting, folding, unfurling—you name it, in hopes of finding any hidden clues as to who’s the sender and how to solve this “riddle” that ultimately determines the rest of his life. The seal wax on the envelope is beyond recognition, cracked and no longer aesthetically pleasing to look at.
An unassuming creme-white envelope laid tactfully on top of the same desk years ago, the light from his room window shining on it like a natural spotlight. Stray dust floated around, acting like confetti to announce its unexpected, (yet important) quiet arrival. Adorned with a wax seal, the middle of it was impressed in the center of the seal with a perfect copy of his “hanko” that clearly had the kanji for his name. Which was weird… wasn’t counterfeiting hankos illegal? Being beyond skeptical even for his young age at the time of the discovery, Kise thoroughly checked every crease and fold of the paper. Yes, he even dared to open the window and looked around in case someone had the gall to play a prank on him. Opening up the envelope did nothing to calm him down as soon as he realized it was the infamous “soulmate letter.”
So God help him.
“Well…” he sighs, picking up the letter closer to his face, chin still firmly on the wood. “It wouldn’t hurt to double-check one more time, right?”
[You will meet your soulmate in a place where there are many other people.]
He frowns not even a second into the letter. Well that’s not EXACTLY helpful, is it? he ruefully thinks, recalling the constant faces surrounding him with hopeful, shining eyes. How am I going to figure out which of them is the right person? He groans in frustration before reluctantly moving on to the next part.
[You will have your first real encounter with them in a place where you always spend your time through the years. Be careful to keep track of where you are at all times.]
This also makes no damn sense. He blows a strand out of his hair in annoyance, but he stops at a realization. I guess I’ve been in the studio for a long time… It has been a couple years since he started out as a casual model, so perhaps he’s on the right track. He allows himself a small grin of triumph.
[Your soulmate is always with company, and they are never lonely. You must be careful to not actively seek out for your fated encounter, for you’ll certainly miss them.]
His grin grows wider. This is it…! It only makes sense that they’re also involved within the modeling industry. Are they a photographer, makeup artist, stylist… or even, are they also a model like him? It would only make sense if they’re never alone like he is. And maybe trying to seek them out when they also attract other people to them would make it harder to face them alone? He frowns. Or maybe it’s because they’re one of my many admirers? That one is still a bit muddy. But he remains hopeful.
[You must remain committed, and seek out things that keep you steady and motivated. Only then is it possible for your soulmate to come to you instead.]
The most cryptic part of the letter. If he’s going to try to base this off of the premise of his soulmate being near his modeling job, maybe he should pursue the pastime beyond just a hobby and turn it into a career? But other than that, all the things he’s tried out, especially sports, have gotten boring and thus, been abandoned. He bangs his forehead on the table, grin wiped off of his face realizing how he instantly got kicked back into square one.
This… this doesn’t make any sense!
———
It’s been two years at Teiko. Still no sign of this soulmate. He’s not surprised that by now, nearly the entire school somehow caught wind of the contents of his letter…. though, rumors have been getting wilder and wilder as days pass.
“Kise-kun.”
“Ee-ee-eeeee!!” The sudden voice makes him jump out of his skin before he whirls around in a panic. “Kurokocchi!! Could you stop doing that??”
Kuroko merely gives his signature blank look before he continues walking on like nothing happened.
“Y-You’re really gonna ignore me?!”
“It’s almost time for practice,” he says, turning back to face him expressing theatrical tears. “We don’t want to be late, or Akashi-kun will find out.”
At the mention of the captain’s name, Kise merely gulps before he catches up with Kuroko’s stride with no further complaints.
“But did you have to pop out of nowhere?”
Honestly, I still don’t get that part about him.
“I can’t help it,” he deadpans, as if it’s the most obvious thing in the world. “It’s not much different from your popularity.”
“When you put it like that,” he sighs, putting his arms behind his head. “I guess I can see it.” He eyes the back of Kuroko’s head—who’s been walking ahead—for several minutes before he finally musters up the courage to ask.
“Say, Kurokocchi…”
“Yes?” Kuroko continues keeping up his pace, but he slightly looks back to Kise in acknowledgment.
“Did you get your soulmate letter yet?”
At the question, Kuroko merely blinks before he replies. “I received an envelope in my locker yesterday. I thought it was strange since no one ever notices me to begin with, so I thought someone must’ve mistaken my locker for someone else’s.” Kise waits with bated breath for him to continue.
“And?”
Kuroko looks away for a second. “Yeah, it had my hanko on it. I opened it to make sure it wasn’t an error on the sender’s end. Sure enough…” he nods before finishing his reveal, “it was in fact, about my soulmate.”
“What did it say?!” Kise nearly jumps on Kuroko out of anticipation, but he barely manages to keep himself in check.
“That I’ll find my soulmate when I’m 17 to 18,” he says matter-of-factly. “So that means… I’d be a 3rd year in high school. But it also said I would already encounter them at several points in my life prior.”
Kise face-palms at his answer. “What the hell? How come yours is so straightforward?”
He only shrugs as a response, because they were already at the front steps of the gym. It looks like they got here on time. Kuroko announces the two of them before he helps pull out the ball carts. As shoe squeaks and ball dribbles echo throughout the interior, Kise stands there mulling over Kuroko’s information.
So Kurokocchi had the part of the soulmate information that only told the approximate time frame… Still, his was way too simple… or did he somehow decipher it really easily?
Kise makes a loud noise of frustration as he grabs and shakes his head, completely ignoring the concerned looks from the other first-string players.
Eurghh!! Why is mine too complicated?!
———
Kise looks at the letter in his hands again. Looking at it sort of pisses him off at this point, the wrinkled font clearly mocking and challenging him to solve it… if he could even do it to begin with. He holds the top of the paper with his two hands, his thumbs and forefingers gripping tighter. He can just rip it. He really can… who’s stopping him?
Actually, has there been anyone who ripped their letter like this before?
He intensely stares at it for a few moments, juggling his options and weighing the consequences if he did choose to shred his fate into pieces. He gives a resigned pout when he comes to the conclusion that maybe it’d be best if he didn’t test that theory out. With a huff, he roughly folds up the paper and shoves it into the envelope before tossing it haphazardly onto a low shelf.
“That’s it,” he declares out to the room. “I’m not going to bother with this soulmate shit. I’m going to live my life however I want, and no one can stop me otherwise.”
And suddenly, he feels ten times better, like a weight was lifted from his shoulders. I should’ve done this sooner, he thinks, yawning as he gets ready for a good nap in his bed. Thinking about this is way too tiring and troublesome. Why should I even care about it anymore?
———
Somehow, his admirers became bolder and bolder, realizing that they should try to push his boundaries and see how much they can get away with. It started with tentative brushes of his shirt and his arms, thinking he didn’t notice. Of course he fucking noticed, when ten other girls had the same idea. Birds of a feather flock together—something he remembers, snorting derisively in his mind yesterday. But what does he do? Put some distance between them and himself with a cheery smile and a fastbreak walk. And then today, they have the audacity to actually grab him?
You’ve got to be kidding me.
“Is it true that your soulmate letter told you that you’d meet someone so beautiful in a place no one goes to?”
“No, that’s wrong! I’ve heard that he’s looking for someone in a place where he works.”
“Should we also apply there then…?”
Kise drops his sunny disposition like a drop of a hat, and those who had their eyes and hands on him immediately flinch at the sudden change. All the loud whispers cease.
“K-Kise-kun…? Is there something wrong?”
“Is there someone bothering you?”
How do you guys have no self awareness?
“Ah, sorry…” Kise gives a placid smile that doesn’t quite reach his eyes. “You see—”
“Oh!!~ Ryōta-kun!!”
Everyone jumps at the sound of his first name used so familiarly, but Kise is more shocked than the rest of them because he doesn’t recognize the voice one bit. What the hell is going on?
A girl ruthlessly pushes through the crowd before she bounces to his side with such a saccharine smile that Kise is almost impressed by the feat. But his thoughts short-circuit when she comfortably wraps her perfectly-manicured hands around his left arm, her brunette hair swept across her shoulder and touching his sleeve. He gets a full whiff of her fragrance, and he slightly grimaces before his thoughts finally catch up to register what just happened.
What the f—
“Everyone is so touchy today!!” she declares with a slight pout, ringing her voice loudly for everyone nearby to hear on purpose. “Don’t you guys know Ryōta-kun is my soulmate?”
“O-Oi—who said—” Kise immediately tries to jump in, but the girl is quicker to cut him off.
“He’s mine! Sorry girlies!” she says with a playful innocence before narrowing her eyes maliciously at the crowd. “... So you’ll have to leave, ‘mkay?” No sooner she speaks those words, the group disperses, and for the first time, Kise’s relatively alone in broad daylight in the middle of a public space. Though, he now has a bigger issue at hand. This girl.
There’s no doubt the entire school would talk about this the next day and weeks to come… probably months too. He drops his nice facade completely with her. “I don’t know what you’re trying to do, but stop it. The shit you’re doing right now isn’t cute in the slightest.”
“Oh! Ryōta-kun… don’t you know how attractive you are when you look at me like that?” She leans forward with a sneer of her own. “But you should be thanking me, no? I got rid of the pests for you, didn’t I?”
“I didn’t need your help,” he scoffs, beginning to turn away to walk. “If anything, you sound more desperate than I am.” There’s only one reason why she’s here.
He fumes to himself. She’s annoying, trying to use me for my status as a model to boost her own reputation in a hopeful “scandal.” Fucking hell. I’ll have to ask my manager about this later for rumor control… He clicks his tongue, making it loud enough for her to hear.
At least he knows 100% that she isn’t his soulmate. That’s one girl down out of infinity.
He walks with such controlled anger brewing within him that he almost didn’t notice another girl walking past him. Almost.
“Hana-chan!” a voice called out. He presumes that the brunette is who the voice is looking for. “Why’d you ditch me like that? You left me with these boys all alone! You know how starved they are—They totally looked at me like a piece of meat!”
“Aish, (y/n)-chan!” He hears her annoying voice echoing behind him. He walks faster. “Don’t you know you have that charm? Can you blame them?~ I wouldn’t, hehe.”
“Mou—! Hana-chan!” You speed to Hana, completely ignoring Kise as you storm past him. “You’re mean!”
He takes a quick side glance at you before his scowl turns harsher.
Who the hell in their right mind is friends with that bitch??
“Sorry, sorry!~”
But Kise can obviously tell she isn’t sorry in the least. He’s even more pissed off when he hears you pleasantly laugh with her, completely accepting her half-assed apology.
Chapter 2, Kise’s POV
———
“Huh? What’d you say Ryōta?”
“I said I want to play for the starting position.” Kise’s voice takes on an arrogant tone, dropping all polite facade—a rare occurrence, especially around so many people. The other first-string players watch the interaction anxiously, tension building in the gym.
This guy isn’t taking me seriously at all, is he?
Haizaki merely gives him a condescending look when he turns to face Kise. “You just joined the team. Hah—don’t be stupid.” He cocks a brow to taunt him further. “Besides, you can’t even beat me at practice. What do you think you’re doing, eh?”
I know what I’m doing, and you damn know it.
Kise merely gives a cocky look of his own. “I may not stand a chance against the other four, but I think I’m ready to take you.” More than ready. The mentioned Generation of Miracles stand aside to watch Haizaki’s response, not making any particular move to interfere.
“Heh, you must not think much of me.” Haizaki puts his hands casually on his hips. “It’s obvious I just don’t take practice seriously.” He licks his thumb as another taunt. “Fine. I’ll give you a taste of what I can really do.”
Honestly… what type of sick guy even does that? I can’t stand him.
. . .
A dunk there.
Another dunk.
Steal.
Backtip.
“Uh-oh. Kise-chin’s getting destroyed,” a lazy voice rings over the shoe squeaks and echoing ball bounces in the one-on-one match.
Damn it, you didn’t have to say that out loud, Murasakibaracchi… Damn it.
“More! I’m not done yet…!” Kise breathes hard, wiping sweat off his chin with the back of his arm and takes on a defensive stance.
“It’ll end the same way every time.”
“W-Wha—!”
“You and I…” Haizaki deals the finishing blow with a brutal dunk. “... are cut from different cloth.”
Ah… shit. Damn it, I thought I had it this time… I thought… damn…
“Shōgo-kun!” a feminine voice calls out from the doorway. A brunette girl pops her head to peep in. Hana. “Are you done with practice?”
Ugh… not her. Kise inwardly blanches at hearing her nauseating voice filling up the room and remembering the stunt she pulled the other day. Of all people to see me like this too…
“Yeah, sorry. I just finished,” Haizaki calls out, voice turning casual. He walks to her with an outstretched arm, eager for a touch before she recoils in disgust.
“Eurgh—!” she shrieks. “You’re still drenched in sweat!”
“Pft, I’ll take a quick shower.” He leans forward to her face, hands on his hips. “Do you wanna come with me?”
“Oh, come on!” she chastises him with that sickenly sweet voice, knowing fully well of his implications.
Kise huffs a small breath of annoyance, though it doesn’t do enough to convey his irritation for her. What a fake. People like her are so unbearable—the worst.
Aomine sighs, watching from a distance away. “That bastard…”
“Hey,” another player calls out. “Isn’t that… That’s Kise’s new girlfriend. Are they soulmates?”
Bullshit! She’s not—
“Ryōta-kun?”
Don’t use my first name like we’re familiar—
“Yeah.” Haizaki turns back to stare down at Kise, still on the ground with his hands and knees. “This guy just challenged me and lost.”
“Seriously? Talk about lame~”
“Anyways, that’s that.” Haizaki prepares to leave with the brunette. “Later, Ryōta-kun.” He adds an emphasis on the honorific to further humiliate him as he turns around.
Kise begins to tremble, fists tightening. All of you piss me off. He grits his teeth, willing himself to get up from his total loss and stand on his feet again. His hands are hanging loosely at his sides—stance relaxed, but no one around him can tell what he’s actually feeling from the way he hides his face under his bangs. But he can’t blame Haizaki… that’s the most infuriating part. He’s right… I challenged him and didn’t stand a chance—That can only mean I have to get stronger.
“Hey, wait!” Another voice cuts through his thoughts when more running footsteps echo down the gym hallway. Kise looks up with a disinterested expression at the source of the noise. “There you are! I’ve been looking for you! Aren’t we going to the arcade together?”
Haizaki merely smirks at you, giving you a once-over before flicking his hand towards himself to beckon you over. “The more the merrier, eh?”
“Oh, Shōgo-kun! You’re so sly!”
“Ehhhhh?” You dramatically gasp, turning to Haizaki. “But you agreed on going on a date with me today, didn’t you?” Haizaki stops with a raised brow to try to recall before his grin grows wider at you.
“My bad. So I did,” he hums. “Then,” he turns to the brunette, “After the shower, I’ll be with (y/n), yeah? You’re more than free to join, though.”
“Whaaaat?” You tilt your head at him. “We agreed to go alone together, geez…”
Kise merely tunes you out from that point on, no longer interested in you and whatever shit you were going to spew out. Anyone involved with Haizaki like that isn’t good to begin with. He slowly walks to use the exit on the opposite side of the gym to avoid the group for good measure.
She’s just like the rest of them. He yawns.
———
Another day, another practice. Even after Teiko destroyed Meiko in the national finals, there is no excitement buzzing among the basketball players from such an accomplishment, when such wins are simply obligatory and frequent.
“Midorimacchi? Where’s everyone else?” Kise enters the gym nonchalantly but stops to do a double take to see half the room empty. It’s supposed to be another regular day of practice isn’t it?
Midorima pauses, his hands on a plastic bottle before he narrows his eyes. “Those fools chose to ditch.”
Fools? Kise widens his eyes. “You can’t mean…”
“I don’t understand their way of thinking,” he continued, putting down the bottle before picking up the ball. “Those who don’t do everything humanly possible within their limits—I can’t be friends with such people. Luckily, my soulmate will not be the same.”
Soulmate?
“Aominecchi and Murasakibaracchi? And hey, where’s Akashicchi?”
“Quiet,” he says, going into a shooting position with the ball in his left hand. “You’re ruining my focus, nanodayo.” He shoots a half-court shot. All net, as always… nothing less from Teiko’s shooting guard.
“I’m serious,” he slightly sulks, eyeing the ball bouncing out of the court before looking back at him. “I don’t know what’s going on here.” Midorima, sensing the serious tone, turns back as he adjusts his glasses.
“Kuroko quit yesterday. Akashi is most likely gone regarding that. Though, I doubt losing Kuroko would make a huge impact to the starter lineup. Despite that, I believe Akashi wanted to be thorough and make sure there’s a temporary sixth man installed in the meantime.”
Kurokocchi quit? Well, it’s not a big deal. It’s almost the end of our 3rd year here anyways… before we graduate.
Kise further raises a confused brow. “And what’s with the soulmate comment? Did you already…?”
“Obviously not.” Midorima frowns at his insinuation. “It is far too soon for me to get one.”
“Then why do you sound so confident?!”
“Because I know,” he replies, closing his eyes briefly before looking down at the ball cart next to him. “… and trust that they’ll give me someone capable. Naturally, if I were to do everything possible on my end, that would only mean I would be granted someone of the same caliber in the future, nanodayo. There is no room for error or doubt.”
“Uh…” Kise merely gives a judgmental stare. “So I’m assuming you have a soulmate letter, and it told you this?” Midorima stops himself from shooting to stare at him incredulously, as if Kise was the most idiotic thing he’d ever laid eyes on.
“Of course not. I’m not opening that letter until the oha asa predicts the luckiest year for cancers yet.”
“I… wow.” That’s Midorimacchi for you, always the weirdo. Can’t believe he really thinks like that.
“You have no place to speak when you also are nowhere near to finding your soulmate, idiot.” He shoots the ball again. He grabs another one without looking at Kise, who’s currently no doubt giving him the look of a kicked puppy.
“I don’t believe in soulmates,” he grumbles. “Not anymore, anyways. It’s too annoying to think about.”
Midorima widens his eyes to stare at Kise, registering the foreign words coming from his mouth.
Midorimacchi, don’t look at me like that… can you blame me? It’s not that weird for a lot of people to think that, too.
Midorima merely sighs. “Say all you want, but you can’t deny the fates, nanodayo.” He goes back to ignoring Kise again, this time for good. I guess he finds that really strange on his end.
“Well…” Kise gives a heavy sigh of his own. “I guess I can get some drills in.”
———
Kaijo’s nice enough. Nothing’s really changed since becoming a 1st year here for a couple months. The campus might be twice the size of Teiko’s, and the basketball team isn’t that bad. Kasamatsu might be scary, though, but he has no real complaints about him. Well… he reconsiders the thought, feeling his lower back throbbing. Actually… he COULD try to lessen up on his kicks… But I guess he means well. He’s a bit too serious, though.
He still has plenty of complaints about girls following him around, but by now, he’s used to it. Call it a staple of Kise Ryōta, of some sorts. Kise of Kaijo… he thinks, remembering Kasamatsu’s lecture on his first day of scouting. It really does have a nice ring to it after all.
He smiles, recalling the new bonds he’s forged with his teammates these past matches. The Winter Cup is coming soon, so everyone’s buzzing with excitement and anticipation to take home 1st place this year. Kurokocchi might be right about doing what’s good for the team. I need to get stronger for our rematch. His simper only grows bigger.
Thinking about basketball and not worrying about the unnecessary things at hand is so liberating that he pretty much forgets the ordeal. (Like the business of soulmates, but he’s not thinking about that! That’s not even remotely in his consciousness, not one bit.)
Unfortunately for him, his smile is wiped from his face the moment he enters the gym.
“Heyah, heyah, heyah!” He furrows his brows in slight confusion at the voice, most definitely not belonging to any of his teammates. That sounds… familiar.
Your voice reverberates throughout the gym, but it seems like you have no regard for an indoor voice as your eyes sparkle (how creepy) at his teammates. And your own smile widens as seconds pass (definitely creepy). Kise’s frown becomes harsher when he finally recognizes you.
I don’t remember what she looks like… but that damn voice… wait a second—
Kasamatsu sighs at you, but he tries to keep a polite tone with you. Even so, anyone can sense how exasperated he is. “Sorry, look,” he says cordially, eyeing Kise at the door before turning his gaze back at you. “If you’re looking for Kise, he’s not here right now, and if you are going to wait for him, he’ll be occupied with practice from soon until hours later.”
You do that same head tilt you did back at Teiko. “But I’m not here for him.”
His teammates merely sweatdrop at your answer. Right, like anyone believes that. Kise takes a quiet step in to put his duffel bag on an empty spot, no longer even bothering to give you his attention anymore.
“Yeah, sorry.” Kobori steps in with an apologetic smile of his own. “If you want to leave any gifts, you can leave it with the coach.”
“No, no!” You widen your eyes theatrically, waving your hands around in front of your chest to emphasize your statement. “You misunderstand me, seriously!”
Kasamatsu, having enough of you, shoots an exhale before turning to yell to the other players, “Everyone! Start warming up! And don’t slack off, or I’ll kick your ass!”
“I’m not here for Kise,” your voice rings out loud and clear. “I’m here for Kasamatsu-senpai.” Everyone freezes at the mention of the captain’s name. What business did a 1st year have with a 3rd year? They spare a look in the captain’s direction, but even he’s caught off guard. Kise looks up at you from behind, a few meters away.
Does she even know that I’m actually here, or…?
“Because,” you say, a little too brightly. “I think you’re my soulmate, Kasamatsu-senpai!”
Said captain immediately chokes on air.
Every single person in the gym has their jaws dropped.
A few seconds of silence take over the gym.
“WHAT??????!!!!”

Aaah yes! This is such a cute request and I loved doing that! Please forgive me if it took longer than you expected. I hope it is to your liking and if not please let me know through an anon ask.❤️

Hashira's reacting to their crush being kind to their sibling(s)
Warnings: maybe a super tiny nsfwish? mention of trauma and abuse in the past
Word Count: 955
Pairing: Hashira's x Fem!Reader
crossposted on AO3
Kyojuro Rengoku
Listen to me. This man would blush. And you know why? Because of his crush he got on you.
And now he sees how kind and loving you act towards Senjuro?
This of course leaves him with the question of whether you are so loving with small babies.
Of course you would, what a stupid question from him.
But now he just can't stop imagining you with a baby. A baby from you two, because this man definitely wants children later.
He later needed a cold shower to calm his flushing down, since he recalled how babies were made. 😉
Sanemi Shinazugawa
He would watch you silently and while he does an inner image would appear in front of him.
That of his mother's.
And that would confuse the Wind Hashira very much.
Especially when he sees how warm and kind you act towards Genya and other younger people?
He can't stop thinking that Sumi, Hiroshi, Teiko, Koto, Shuya and Sanehiro would adore you.
And that brings a comforting inner warmth that he had always felt towards his mother back then.
You remind him so much of his mother that he got flashbacks of how she protected her children from their brutal father like a lioness.
That spoiled his mood in the usual way and the gentle smile that briefly reflected on his lips disappeared.
He swore to protect you from everything and everyone, because such a kind soul had to survive in this world and not the murderous scum that he saw in himself.
Giyuu Tomioka
He too would be very subtle in his observation.
You probably wouldn't even know that he saw you.
But he did. And it had definitely triggered something in him.
And it was rare smile, but he kept turning away so quickly so that nobody would be able to see it.
The first time he wants to start a conversation with someone. And then with you of all people.
But he is so awkward and shy in it because he had never done anything like that, especially not with someone who he has a crush on. So double awkwardness.
So he keeps watching you, this time a little more obviously, hoping that you might start a conversation with him.
And while he was watching you a soft smile would play on his lips and this time he wouldn't turn away and look directly at you.
Tengen Uzui
The man had 9 siblings and they all died before he was 15
Then seeing you treating a younger one with kindness and love he wished he had felt when he was younger?
Yeah, this man is gonna come to you and lay the world at your feet together with his 3 wives.
But firstly, he would come alone, take your hand and gently kiss your knuckles.
"Be my 4th wife and have my babies. I know you would be a great mother!"
Mitsuri Kanroji
Our beloved love Hashira
She would probably hear it first from her siblings, before seeing it herself.
"Mitsuri neechaaan! Can we (y/n) see again? She was so nice and kind to us! She even brought us sweets!"
Those would be the words of her little siblings as they are all stand very close to each other.
This made her curious.
And if she then sees with her own eyes?
She would squeal in happiness, seeing how loving you are to them.
And would come up to you and hug you. Her breasts press against your shoulder. "Y/n you are so adorable!"
This time it's you who's blushing.
Obanai Iguro
He and Kaguramaru would watch you from afar.
The man didn't have a good experience with women as they were all terrible to him.
But you? You were the opposite and showed him with your gesture that there was also kindness in this world.
And that was one of the reasons why he had a huge crush on you.
And your gesture would make him fall even more for you.
He would sneak gifts to you.
(I am sorry. I feel like I am describing Obanai x Mitsuri as I always see them as canon and his type.)
Gyomei Himejima
He is already a big soft teddy bear
So expect it to grow into an even bigger one.
The first time he noticed tha, he wouldn't think anything of it.
But he sees that it's your nature and that you do it not for yourself.
And he would be touched by your kindness that he would shed tears (as he often does)
Gyomei eventually coming to you and while he towers over you with his height (man is huge) he would ask you.
"Do you want to talk about cats?"
Shinobu Kocho
Shinobu witnessed your kindness towards the younger ones in the butterfly mansion.
And she thinks you are downright adorable.
And she wants to tease you about that.
Which she will certainly do. (Nothing is going to stop her anyway) And oh she loves to tease you.
But on the other hand she will praise you. Telling you how admirable your kindness and love is.
"This reminds me of someone..." And for the first time her smile turned sad.
You could help but hug her and comfort her, as you did with the younglings.
Muichiro Tokito
Empty eyes would clear at that moment and would look at you in surprise.
It is not about how you look, but the way you treat other the younger ones. It would bring back certain memory he thought it was long gone.
He would look at you with wide big eyes.
"Y/n..." That he remembered your name would make you turn in surprise, but there would be a smile. "Yes, what is it Tokito-san?"
And then he would remember and he would hold your hand and smile. "Your kindness... It made me remember something very dearly to me. Of my father and mother... Thank you so much for that"

kise needs to prove to haizaki that he can’t steal you from him.

Tumblr media
Kise had known that the outcome of winning the Kaijo vs Fukuda Sogo match wouldn’t be good. But he had expected Haizaki to resort to his usual violent tendencies. In fact, he was almost hoping for it at this point, after seeing what exactly Haizaki was trying to do as part of his revenge. He hadn’t anticipated this at all.
He glared at Haizaki across the table as he conversed with you, talking about the “good old middle school days I spent with Ryota-kun”. Kise nearly barfed at the words, knowing not one sentence that left his rotten mouth was true. He didn’t expect you to know that though. You were listening in intrigue, munching on your lunch and smiling at certain points of Haizaki’s (completely fabricated) stories. Kise felt his hold on his chopsticks tighten, jaw clenching in repressed anger. His leg shook under the table to try and allay some of his anxiety. It was not working.
It was supposed to be a nice, spontaneous shopping date when he had picked you up at your place this morning. He needed new basketball shoes, and it was the perfect excuse to drag you along. He wanted to take every opportunity to spend time with you now that you were officially his. In his mind, this was your first official date after he had asked you to be his girlfriend.
Kise had liked you from the minute he saw you in his class. You had made the transition from Teiko Middle School to Kaijo High way easier for him. You had been kind and befriended him early on when he asked for your help on a particularly difficult Math question (he knew the answer, he just needed an excuse to talk to you). You had enthusiastically agreed to help him, and the rest had been history.
To Kise, you were special. You didn’t care about his athletic pursuits or his modeling career. While you supported him wholeheartedly in all his endeavors, they didn’t define him. And he loved that about you. You were different to him than the usual girls who flocked to him, attracted by the glitter and glam and unable to see the boy underneath. Had it not been so early in your relationship, Kise would wax poetic about you every opportunity he got.
But this was new. It was new and fresh and so, so delicate. He couldn’t risk unintentionally pushing you away. Not when he had just got you.
And so the fear gripped him as he watched you laugh at something Haizaki said, realizing that he could very easily lose you to the man sitting in front of you right now. He had done it before, after all. It wouldn’t be difficult for him to woo you. He had run into the two of you while you shopped, greeting Kise like a long-lost friend and introducing himself as Kise’s old best buddy before Kise could get a single word out. He didn’t even have time to process what was happening before Haizaki was inviting you two to have lunch with him, to which you excitedly agreed, claiming you wanted to know Kise’s old friend, And you were always so kind. How was he supposed to explain to you that Haizaki was a snake? How was he supposed to drag you away without coming off as an asshole? You would probably tell him that he was being too harsh. You always saw the good in people.
You had seen the good in him, hadn’t you?
Kise felt a nudge at his side, turning his head to look at you seated by his side. You were looking at him worriedly, eyes wide and lips pursed in apprehension.
“Are you okay, Ryo-kun?” Your voice was so soft it naturally made his stiff shoulders loosen. He let out a breath he didn’t even know he was holding.
Across the table, Haizaki was smirking dangerously on him, a glint in his eye that told Kise all he needed to know. A claw gripped his heart, throat knotting as the fears of his middle school days encroached on his mind.
Your gentle touch on his arm made him finally move, standing up so abruptly it startled you. You blinked owlishly up at him, and he felt almost bad for doing this, if not for the sweat building up on the back of his neck.
“Can we leave, Y/N-cchi? I’m feeling a bit under the weather.” He tried to keep his voice steady, pointedly ignoring Haizaki’s burning stare. You nodded hastily, standing up and giving Haizaki a smile that made Kise want to scream.
“I guess we have to cut this short, huh?” Haizaki lumbered to his feet, giving Kise a grin that was so fake it took everything for him to not roll his eyes. “We should meet up more often, Y/N-chan, I have so many other stories about Ryota you would love to hear.”
Over Kise’s dead body.
He had reached for your hand, gripping it tightly in his own before throwing a glare at Haizaki, turning to walk out with you in tow. He had used your first name, and addressed you with an endearing honorific. After just one meeting. One conversation. Was that all it took?
“Ryo-kun, slow down!”
Kise blinked and stopped walking, turning to look back at you. He gasped and dropped his hand when he realized how tightly he was holding it, feeling his neck and ears heat up in embarrassment. He gave you a sheepish smile.
“Sorry, Y/N-cchi,” he rubbed the back of his head. “I got carried away.”
You sighed and took his hand again, looking around before leading him to an empty bench down the street. You sat down and patted the spot next to you, waiting for him to seat himself before you began to talk.
“You want to tell me what’s going on?”
Kise stared at you for a bit, gulping in what he assumed was a discreet way. “What do you mean? Nothing’s going on.”
Your face was blank as you looked at him, raising a delicate eyebrow in a way that clearly said that’s bullshit. Kise almost laughed.
“You were clearly uncomfortable around Shogo-kun. From the minute we met him, you’ve been quiet. It’s not like you.”
He didn’t hear a word past Shogo-kun. How long had it taken for you to start calling him anything other than Kise-kun? Haizaki had already made more progress in an hour than he had done in months.
“Ryo-kun?” You leaned towards him, and Kise felt every muscle in his body scream. He was panicking, he knew it. It seemed like all his confidence had suddenly gone down the drain. He felt the urge to run far, far away so he didn’t have to witness you spend a single happy minute with Haizaki. And even though Haizaki wasn’t here, Kise felt like the man was hanging over him like a shadow.
“Oh, Ryota, Y/N-chan.” This couldn’t be happening. It couldn’t be real. He watched Haizaki walk up to where you both sat. “You guys are still here. I thought you left, considering Ryota was feeling…… under the weather.”
That fucking tone. Haizaki was mocking him. Kise felt something simmer in his chest, feeling anger that he hadn’t felt since his last tough basketball game. You were looking between both of them in confusion, at the intense staring contest he had going with Haizaki. Kise felt bad, dragging you into this mess just because he won a basketball game. In the grand scheme of things, and compared to you, that win was nothing. Had Kise known this would ensue, he would never have provoked Haizaki or even played in the game.
“We were just leaving.” You stood up, pulling Kise out of his thoughts. Your stance was purposeful and closed off, which made Kise bite the inside of his cheek with worry. Had he freaked you out? Were you upset?
He wordlessly got to his feet and followed you when you tugged on his hand, feeling anxious that this would somehow ruin things between the two of you. A mere ten feet of walking later, you turned around abruptly, looking up at Kise with a heated stare that made him freeze.
“Kiss me.”
Kise’s mouth fell open in shock, eyes so wide he felt like they were ready to pop out of his skull. “H-huh?”
“You want to show him that I belong to you, right?” You leaned closer. “That’s what all the glaring is about. Well, do it. He’s watching.”
Kise instinctively turned his head behind you to see, and sure enough, Haizaki was standing right where you two had left him, only a few strides away, watching both of you, hands stuffed casually in his pockets. He smirked when their eyes met. Kise realized that in that moment, Haizaki probably thought you two were having an argument.
He felt his chest burn in anger.
The next second he turned back to you, one hand reaching up to hold the back of your head and the other on your waist, pulling you in until your lips were meeting in a searing kiss.
He nearly pulled away in surprise when you kissed him back just as aggressively, hands reaching up to tangle in his hair, standing on your tiptoes and tilting your head to deepen the kiss. Kise nearly moaned, winding an arm around your waist until your body was flush against his. The people walking past you two faded away from his mind, and he felt his core tighten at how good you felt.
You had never kissed like this. In the handful of times that you had, it had been soft and hesitant, testing the waters, giggling and laughing as you exchanged gentle pecks after a good date. You had never arched into him like this, never sighed and hummed or tugged on his hair until little tingles ran through his scalp. He relished in the feeling of you, in the soft give of your hips under his hands, tongue running over your lips until you opened your mouth and let him in. Kise groaned long and low into your mouth, at how pliant you were being. His cock twitched in his trousers.
He turned you slightly and opened his eyes, still kissing and licking at your lips, eyes laser focused on the person behind you. Haizaki’s mouth had dropped open, and he looked pissed off as he lifted his hand, showing Kise a middle finger before turning and walking in the other direction.
Kise smirked and closed his eyes, both arms wrapping around your frame and kissing you harder, longer, not caring at the weird looks you were attracting.
He kicked himself for ever doubting your love, for ever doubting you and your devotion to him. It took so many months, but that meant one thing; you two had entered this relationship with complete trust and comfort, and a fake, one hour conversation with some random guy wasn’t going to mess that up. Haizaki could try over and over and it still wouldn’t work. This was one thing he couldn’t steal. And the way you whimpered into his mouth when he bit at your lip proved it.
You were Kise’s. No one else’s.

You don't know me part 1
Daiki Aomine x fem reader
You looked down at the court from the elevated corner of the Touo academy stadium. Despite the glaring lights, the corner remained a place of partial shadow, hiding your face as you watched. It had been three years since you were last on the court- 3 long, painful years full of bitterness and yearning, so, as a general rule, you tried to avoid watching games- for the most part, all they did was remind you of what you'd lost. However, whenever you heard that one of *them* was playing, you just couldn't seem to be able to control yourself. You had to go and watch.
The generation of miracles. Once your closest friends and companions. While Teiko was known for its dominating boys' basketball team, a it was little known by most that they also had a pretty strong girls' basketball club. You'd played as a shooter for that club for the majority of your middle school career, climbing your way up to the top and taking your team with you. After practice, you'd often hung out with the boys in the gymnasium and on the way home, and, over time, you'd become good friends. At least, that was how everything had been before that wretched day near the end of your 3rd year. The day that brought your career to a grinding halt.
With the start of high school, everyone had taken separate routes and you'd lost touch with them. Even though you acted indifferent, part of you couldn't help but feel a little sad about that- you'd loved hanging out with the guys: going to town or visiting clubs with Kise, sharing Atsushi's snacks, poking fun at Midorima as he lugged around his "lucky item" for the day, discussing the season's basketball highlights with Kuroko, lounging around and talking with Aomine after school... you hadn't realised how much these moments had meant to you, how much they'd filled up your life, until they were gone. You often wondered if they felt that way too.
Generally speaking, you hated watching basketball nowadays. It was a painful reminder of what you'd lost. When you'd been asked to coach the basketball team at your school, Seirin , you'd declined without a second thought. However, it always felt different when it was one of them playing. When you watched them, you felt like you were on the court with them, moving as one. You forgot for a time.
It was no different tonight as you watched Aomine play some B-tier school during the opening bracket of the Winter Cup. He was agile as always, weaving his way in between his opponents before they even had time to react and shooting one basket after another. His own teammates barely had the chance to touch the ball. You smiled to yourself, remembering your many 1v1v matches with Aomine back in middle school. Whenever you two needed to settle anything, it'd be done on the court. You needed a favour ? sure, if you could score 10 points before him. He wanted the answers to last week's assignment ? You'd give them to him if he managed to beat you. You pretty much never beat him- you came close sometimes- but he was quick at regaining the upper hand. Despite this, you'd improved greatly thanks to your 1v1s, something that even Aomine admitted. He'd often teach you new techniques or give you advice on how to improve your form, and, though he wasn't very patient, you learned over time.
"Why are you always teaching Y/N-chin those techniques ?" Murasakibara asked him one day when you guys were eating lunch together. Aomine had gone red and averted his gaze
"Playing against her gets lame if I win all the time," he'd replied, still not looking at you.
The buzzer sounded for the end of the first quarter, the familiar sound snapping you out of your thoughts. It was time to leave now, before they had time to notice you. You couldn't face seeing them again, not yet.
Making sure no one was looking, you crept out using a side exit while the players were still ambling off of the court. Every time you finished watching one of their basketball games, you were overcome by a strong feeling of nostalgia.
You always wondered why you did this to yourself, yet somehow you could never seem to stop.
Unconsciously, you began to walk faster as the cold night breeze sliced past your skin, anxious to get out of there before the memories completely took over your mind.
"Y/N ?" The voice that calls you is deep and rich, yet somewhat lazy.
Before you can even process what is happening, you're turning around and setting your gaze on the source of the voice.
Daiki Aomine.
Possibly the last person you want to see right now, especially after everything.

Have you’ve ever watched Kuroko No Basketball? If not it’s basically a group of middle schoolers turn high schoolers who are prodigies at basketball. They were called the Generation of Miracles. And once they enter highschool they split up to see who’s on top.
I have an request what if reader was their coach from when they were in middle school. And she coaches them again when they enter college. But when they were in high school she was working for bonten. But bonten being nosy decides to see the reason she quited and come to find out reader trained the elite team in Japan. The Generation of Miracle’s
—Bonten (slight Kuroko no basket) x reader
—Summary: homesickness makes you want to go back to your old job and your new coworkers are curious
—Warnings: none
yeeeeah, I know knb, a good series even though I didn't finish it 😔🤌🏻
Tumblr media
You were someone young when you first met the Generation of Miracles, completely fascinated by the basketball games of that team, you could not resist asking for your internship as a coach there. When they were in middle school you had just finished your studies in sports science, so you applied to go to Teiko as your final grade internship. Many people took you as another miracle added to the team, but you did nothing more than polish those six guys flaws, and your work wouldn't have been as noticeable if it wasn't thanks to their manager Momoi.
Although you decided not to finish your studies there, also noticing how the atmosphere of what at first was a united and hard-working team gradually broke down, you did not meet any of them again after they separated to go to different high schools. So during those years you started studying a management degree while looking for a job, you ended up working for, without knowing it, the most sought after gang in all of Tokyo. It's not that you didn't know about Bonten, but when you accepted the job they obviously didn't put anything related to that mafia, since at least you were working in one of their legal premises.
How you got to know all the executives and the leader himself was through your performance, rising through the ranks quickly, since not many people wanted to work there, the truth is that you didn't either, but it was already too late and you had a confidentiality contract. The thing is... it wasn't as bad as you thought, not as bad if you take away all the illegal shit they do behind the scenes, but since you weren't involved in those problems, you took it in a better way.
Probably the one closest to you is Kokonoi or Mochizuki due to the fact that they were the ones with the least legal problems, you had a love-hate relationship with the Haitani because they liked to mess with you from time to time. Kakucho was definitely the one who calmed all your nerves for being the sanest one there, just like Takeomi, you couldn't say the same about Sanzu, he always made you nervous because he walked around with a gun like it was his dog. You didn't see Mikey much, but your relationship was mere cordiality, for the moment you hadn't bothered him and you had done your job well so he had no problems.
So from one day to the next you found yourself being friends with one of the most powerful mafias in Tokyo, putting aside that sporty side of yours for a few years until one day, while cleaning your apartment, you found a photo with Teiko's basketball team. The nostalgia hit you so hard that you spent the whole day thinking about those years, your love for basketball having only crumbled a little because of the breakup of a good team.
You spent the next few days looking for information about them, they had already finished their studies and it seems they all met again at the university, you were surprised to see all those matches in which Kuroko won and you felt completely proud to see that everyone had improved their techniques, even though Aomine didn't appear much until the end.
The thing is that its gameplay reminded you of the old team, maybe it was a hasty or impulsive choice, but your contract with Bonten ended in a week, despite having a good salary and position, you wanted to feel again what was to be a coach. The decision took everyone by surprise of course, normally employees don't usually decide to end the contract and renew for another year, or they are simply the ones who have to get rid of people who don't serve them, but they had a good relationship with you.
Mikey didn't take it too seriously, but he was curious as to why you did it, since he had some regard for your hard work even though you knew they were criminals.
"Well? Have you found any information?"
Takeomi nodded, passing a folder to his leader, although of course, he wasn't the only curious one, everyone was looking for information about you.
"Oh, basketball coach, seems to do well right?"
"Aren't those guys the generation of…? erm... yeah, whatever, they're famous."
Sanzu simply didn't care about that team, he just looked at the photos where you were smiling holding the tournament cup.
"Look, this is the most recent news, it was on yesterday's news."
Rin turned on the projector, playing an informative sports video announcing your reunion with the generation of miracles for the Japanese team.
"Looks like I'm going to have more work now..."
Kokonoi leaned back massaging his scalp, you took a lot of work off of him and now he was on his own to take care of it all.
"I hope they win."
Mikey left all the photos of old championships won, intertwining his fingers, you were a good worker, he respected your decision to return to the sport but I also hoped that you would return with them, for now he would limit himself to seeing your progress in this tournament with your old team.

When Our Spring Comes // Nijumura Shuzo x fem! Reader
Tumblr media
Context: in which you're Nijimura's junior at Teiko, and you slowly fall for each other <3
Warnings: none! obvs it's set in middle school so it's very soft and cute and I felt like an old lady experiencing teenage love for the first time while writing it 😭
Tumblr media
Spring has always been a bittersweet period of the year to you. When you were just a kid, it always struck you as the time where you’d be separated from your former classmates as you got to graduate and move to the upper class – and oh, was it dreadful to be separated from the group of friends you’ve built over the previous school year! Then you grew a little bit, always hoping to grow more so you awaited spring, the new classes, just a proof that you weren’t a kid anymore.
This spring, though, is rather something you dread. It’s coming quite soon – in 4 weeks from now, so it’s maybe too late for you to worry about it. But the stinging feeling in your stomach that you get every time you think of the future creeps in the minute your eyes meet Shuzo’s. He smiles, unaware of the turmoil inside of your mind. For all you know, he only thinks of you as his cute junior, here at every practice and every match, the nicest smile on your face as you hand your players a bottle of water and sweet words of motivation.
When you first enter Teiko Middle School, the basketball club was the last club you’d ever think of entering. Well, for one, basketball wasn’t quite a passion of yours, and if it was really up to you, you would have integrated a club that matches your interests better. It just happened that you fell sick on the week of club admission, hence missing the deadline and having to choose between integrating the basketball club or the Korean cinema club – which was way too niche for you. Only when you stepped foot inside the gymnasium did you understand that basketball was a big deal in Teiko; well, what other middle school team has three strings of players?
Shuzo Nijimura raised an eyebrow the first time he saw you. Polite and friendly, but definitely less passionate than the crowd of enraged teenage boys he’s used to. Though you clearly did not hide the fact that you weren’t there 100% on your own will, you still attended to your simple task of water girl and, occasionally, snack girl.
So, he’s come to know you, his cute junior. You were always there, so nice to talk to, taking notice of all these little things about the players as you spent more time amongst the team. Standing in the sideline next to him as he took his breaks, looking at the others in training. But the first time Shuzo held a proper conversation with you was during a random afternoon practice, his eyebrows furrowed as if he was in deep reflection, eyes fixed on the first years’ – some of which were your classmates – play. You followed his gaze, somewhat understand what could get him so intrigued with these boys. Despite being in the same team for a little more than two months at this point, the sight of their play never failed to stun whoever watched them.
“Say, you know Murasakibara pretty well, don’t you?” He asked, and you remember jumping a little bit when he talked to you.
“Yeah, we were in the same primary school. Weird guy, I’d say, but who am I to judge?” you chuckled.
Atsushi Murasakibara has always been a strange guy, for all the years you’d known him. You weren’t a friend of him, not even sure if he even knew your name given how disconnected with the world he was, but you were always observant, always knowing people without really knowing them.
“Man…” your captain sighed. “He makes me mad. I was hoping you’d have some tips on how to handle him.”
You raised an eyebrow, not quite sure how he’d come to think you would know.
“When I have a tough time with one of the boys, I usually try to find a way to get to them, make things easier.” He explained. “I don’t wanna say I can read people or something like that, but your classmates are tough nuts to crack.”
“Yeah, these boys… can’t say they’re your average players.”
“Right? I don’t mind having strong players in the team since they make us win, but it’s not all about the games now, is it?”
You shrugged.
“I guess.”
“Yeah, so I’m trying to decipher them one by one. Aomine’s easy, I just had to ask Satsuki. Midorima is fairly approachable, even though I don’t know many 12 years old who take themselves so seriously. And Akashi’s fine, too. But Murasakibara…”
He trailed, and you laughed a bit at the look on his face – one you’d seen quite often on your parents’ face that could clearly read “what am I going to do with that child?”
“Well Atsushi really isn’t that complicated. Not that I know him that well, but he can be bribe with snacks, if that helps.”
“Snacks?”
“Uh-huh. He becomes pretty obedient in exchange for snacks. He likes those kelp chips.”
He let out a soft laugh, then looked at you, and that was also the first time you saw Shuzo’s smile directed to you. Deep in your ribs, you felt your heart jump.
It’s been two years since then. You didn’t expect things to evolve like that. Back then, you would have never seen yourself being by Shuzo’s side even outside of the basketball court. Yet here you are. The last cold breezes of winter disheveling your hair as you try to fix it, in vain. Shuzo’s by your side, chuckling as he sees you struggle. You’ve always been jealous of how his hair never moves. Even when he’s running all around the court, his thick bangs are stable, if not for a few drops of sweat that make them appear a bit thinner. You tsk, Shuzo playfully ruffling your hair. Your heart skips a beat, but you keep it from beating to fast by breathing long and slow.
“Say, captain – “
“Told you not to call me that.” He mumbles in his scarf. “Not your captain, barely your superior in any way.”
“It’s a force of habit.”
“I know.”
“Well, I kinda liked the team better under your mandate.” You chuckle, reminiscing your first year as Teiko’s water girl. The team was something else, back then.
“Hm…” he laughs softly, “but you still love your team.”
“So do you, Shuzo.”
You smile as you watch him blush. He’s never been one to openly admit how much Teiko’s basketball team means to him, but you’ve known him long enough to see the pride in his eyes as he watches his juniors bring yet another victory to your school. You were there, the day he demoted from his position of captain; you didn’t mean to eavesdrop, you were just on your way to the teacher’s room when it happened. You never told him, though, that you’ve heard the whole conversation with coach Sanada. Even if you can understand his reason, you firmly believe that he’s the only one capable of keeping the Generation of Miracles at bay. He has that calm, commanding nature, somewhat nurturing despite its rough aspect. But at the end of the day, your opinion doesn’t matter much.
Anyways, he’s not here for long. One month, you counted. And then he’ll move on, and you’ll be left with no… no him around anymore. The realisation hit you, and you try to supress it but it’s hard. You wish he was around longer, would have made your life brighter. You sigh, nudging his shoulder gently.
“You’ll keep playing in high school, right?” you ask as you both stop at a crossway.
“Depends on my dad’s health.”
Ah, yes. That. You suddenly feel bad for your selfish feelings. Doesn’t matter how you feel about him, as your captain or as a person, his decisions weren’t made thoughtlessly. Shuzo loves his dad maybe more than he’s willing to show. You’ve realized it when he would take some extra snacks that you’ve made for practice, telling you that his dad would love these and he’d take them to the hospital on his next visit. So, on those days you’d have these special snacks, you’d sneak a little pouch of them in his bag. He never said a word about it, but you’d see his face the next day when he’d tell you about his visit to his dad. You don’t have to ask; he’ll just tell you if he feels like it. And every time, you’ll lend an ear.
“Man…” you tsk.
He raises his eyebrows, surprised by your sudden exclamation. While he looks at you, you deviate your gaze to your gloves-covered hands.
“Don’t wanna think about how you’ll probably find yourself another water girl wherever you’re going after Teiko.”
He’s silent for a few seconds, before the soft sound of his laugh creeps into your ears. Your efforts to hide your blushing face in your scarf reveals itself to be a failure; it’s ok, right? He’ll probably think it’s the cold, right?
“I won’t replace you, you know. I don’t think I can.”
“Huh?”
It’s your turn to stare at him dumbfounded. Shuzo’s face is surprisingly serene, despite the weight of his words. To your heart, it sounds like a confession, but you’d be a fool to bet on that. Being friends is all you ever are, never more. It’s an insane possibility, yet…
“I’ll miss you, you know, when I’ll be in high school.”
He stops, looking at the sky. It’s clear and blue, far from the storm brewing in his body. Shuzo Nijimura has never been vocal about his feelings, let alone those of such softness. The confidence with which he’s uttered these words stuns him first; but his heart is about to burst at any moment.
“Well… we don’t have to part ways either.” You mumble.
“You mean that?”
You nod. He’s silent. He’s never thought of that as an option. But now that you’ve said it, he’s struck by the sudden realisation that he’s absolutely an idiot.
“Hey.”
“Yeah?” you look up at him, confused.
“You’re receiving a promotion, if you accept it.” He looks away for a second, before facing you with the kind of determination he only shows on the basketball court.
A small smile paints itself on your face, seeing his fists rolled in ball like he’s about to fight you. Well, he’s rather fighting himself.
“I’ll promote you. From my water girl to my girlfriend. Would you like that?”
“Eh?!”
The look on your face would normally make him laugh, but he rather not. If anything, he’s on the verge of cardiac arrest. Mere seconds have passed, but it feels like you’re taking forever to give him an answer. But then you do.
“I’d like that, yeah.”
Shuzo’s arms are quick to wrap around you, pushing you in a tight embrace while you take a minute to reciprocate the hug. His erratic heartbeats resonate through your body as it sinks in just how much this entire moment means for him. You close your eyes, humming against his chest.
“God, I’m so glad you didn’t reject that lame confession.”
You laugh, daring to leave a soft kiss on his cheek.
“Like I ever would, captain.”
He follows your words with a heartfelt chuckle, one that feels warm like those late winter sunrays that kiss your face right now.
And in this moment, the thought of spring coming has your heart blooming.

P: Tetsuya Kuroko x Fem!Reader
S: Your last year of junior high may have not been the smartest time to start going out with Tetsu. Puppy love was fragile with the transition into high school meaning potentially going separate ways, but the sport that brought you together in the past brings you closer after finding out your boyfriend is going to the same school as you.
W: fluff, knb spoilers, a tad bit rushed, goes over first bit of first season, bare minimum of basketball knowledge
N: Y/N is your first name, L/N is your last name. Words in quotation marks and italics are thoughts. I’ve only watched the first season so far but me and my friend have been screaming at every single competitive game. Giving the blueberry some love since he deserves it. I’ve been wanting to get this out of my drafts since the Suga blurb did so well.
please interact if you enjoy!
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
A tall man with red hair lingers at the basketball club recruitment table for a moment, writing something down before walking away. “Are you sure you don’t have any questions for them, Tetsu?” You ask, looking at your practically invisible boyfriend.
“No. I’d rather you do all the talking.” He says, dragging you along with him to the table. They don’t seem to notice him standing right beside you, their attention focused on you. “Hi! Are you looking to sign up for the basketball club?” The girl asks, an eager smile on her face. “I don’t think this school has a girl’s team... but I was just wondering if there were manager spots open.”
‘She’s so pretty… is she really a first year?’
She looks at you with a glimmer in her eyes, her clasping your hands together while jumping up and down. “Yes! Yes, absolutely– we could definitely use a manager. Do you have the sheet?” Her hands are practically begging to receive the document. “Riko, calm down…” The man seated beside her says, you taking the pen from the clipboard and writing down some extra details before giving her the paper.
You check for Kuroko’s sheet on the desk, him simply lingering behind you with a gentle grip on your wrist. “Thank you so much, we’ll see you at practice!” She exclaims, a dead giveaway that you made it onto the team.
“Yo, you forgot this club request.” Koga says, handing his coach the sheet. “Oh, sorry. Tetsuya Kuroko… huh?” Riko’s suddenly shaken by her team captain, him nearly crumpling your sheet. “What’s going on with you? Calm down, seriously!” She says, Hyuga completely ignoring her. “She’s– that girl is from Teiko!”
“Huh!?” Riko then looks back at the sheet she was holding in her hand, being left equally shocked. “This guy’s also from the Teiko basketball club! If they’re both first years, then they must be from the Generation of Miracles!” She suddenly slams her head down on the desk, wailing. “Ugh, why can’t I remember that golden egg’s face?”
“Tetsu, they didn’t even notice you. I know it’s a part of your whole thing and all, but sometimes it gets to me, how you’re always… ignored.” Both of you trail behind the tall, red headed man from earlier, Tetsu’s grip moving from your wrist to your hand. “It’s okay, Y/N. I appreciate your concern, but I’ll be fine. I like it when you’re the only one that sees me.”
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
“Aida!” You greet from the door, Tetsu holding onto your hand as you walk towards her. Given his lack of presence, he didn’t seem to be worried about keeping your relationship a secret. If something happens, it happens. If they find out about you two, then they find out. “L/N! Welcome! I’m so glad we have a manager this year; it’s gonna be so fun having another girl on the team!”
“Are you the coach? Or is there someone else?” You ask, looking around the mostly empty gym. “I’m the coach! Everyone thinks I’m the manager all the time…” She sighs, understanding why one would assume so. Aida is pulled aside by one of the boys, leaving you to observe the rest of the players.
“Y/N, where do I go?” Tetsu asks, also staring at the players. “Go with them. Line up.” He nods, letting go of your hand and going to join the players. He doesn’t say anything, mostly because he’s being ignored but even so, you felt a little bad.
“Hey, isn’t the manager cute?” Furihata whispers. “I think she’s in our year. She’s kinda sexy.” Kawahara replies, both of the boys being punched in the back of the heads by Hyuga. “Morons.” Aida introduces herself, her true position on the team coaxing gasps out of everyone. “Listen up!” She yells, attention being brought to you.
“Y/N L/N. I’m the basketball club manager this year.” You introduce, feeling awkward saying your own name. “L/N, is this your first year managing?” Someone asks, you shaking your head no. “I managed for Teiko in junior high. I’ve played a bit of basketball myself.”
Aida then takes the stage from there after gasps could lead to more questions, her first order a strange one that caught you off guard. Your eyes darted towards her and shifted between her and Tetsu repeatedly, realizing he never took his shirt off.
“Aida, you forgot someone.” Everyone seems to give you a confused look. “What? Who?” You point at Kuroko. It isn’t until he fully introduces himself that everyone finally notices, the fact that he was also part of the Generation of Miracles suddenly relevant. To your demise, no one seemed to believe him.
Practice was more of an introductory to the members and program, for there was no actual playing involved. You met with Tetsu outside the gym, his hand fitting with yours. It was a small but meaningful gesture and almost the only one that he did to express affection. “Y/N, are you okay with walking alone?” He says after his attention was suddenly brought to something else.
“I am, are you?”
He nods, giving you a hug before walking the opposite direction.
Sometimes you can’t tell what your boyfriend is thinking.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
“A practice game? With the second years?” You ask, dribbling the game ball. “Just so they get a feel for who they’re playing with. I also wanna see how the first years do, so I can coach them better.” Aida explains, watching you dribble the basketball. “You said you played, right? Unfortunate we don’t have a girls team.”
You shrug. “I was good.” She cocks an eyebrow, now curious. “How good?” Her arms are crossed, her intense stare focused on you. You crouch, dribbling the ball in between your legs followed by a behind the back, approaching the net with solid dribbles, running under to make a reverse layup.
“I obviously can’t dunk, but…” You quickly run out to the three point line, the spin on your shot so perfect that it goes in swiftly, rolling back to you. “I was taught some things at Teiko.” Aida’s mouth hangs open, the sight of her frozen nearly scaring you. “You’re amazing! Why’d you quit?” She took the ball from you. “It wasn’t something I enjoyed. I don’t want my whole life to revolve around doing something that I didn’t want to do.”
“I can understand that.” She says, yelling at the boys that walked in to hurry up. Hyuga ruffles your hair out of nowhere. “We got a sharpshooter!” He goes to talk to the coach, Tetsu appearing beside you. “When will you teach me how to shoot?” His head rests on top of yours, making you giggle. “When you actually pay attention when I try to. You’re always spacing out.”
“I do not.”
“You know I read you better than anyone else. Yes, you do. Now go join your team. I’ll be with Aida.” You hand him a penny jersey, noticing him reluctantly walk away from you to linger behind the red haired boy, who you found out was Kagami, his presence not noticed by his team like usual. Even when the game started, it was like they couldn’t see Tetsu the entire time. Kagami took the lead the entire time, dunk after dunk.
It wasn’t until Tetsu actually said something for once that the first years finally noticed him. In fact, everyone finally noticed him when he was under fire from Kagami.
“Hey!” Your voice booms across the gym, your stare hard and cold at the tall boy. “Drop it.” You add, the first years suddenly freezing up and going back to the game. Aida’s eyes are wide at their instant submission, surprised at the power you seem to hold despite it being only the second practice.
You cheer after he finally pulled off his ghost touch pass for the first time, the trick being pulled off again and again there on. You changed the score with such enthusiasm, Aida had to remind you twice to do so. The takeback practically had your heart racing at the end, giving a gleeful double high five to Tetsu before taking the pennies back.
Aida saw both you and Kuroko out of the corner of her eye as she was putting away the small scoreboard, your head resting against his arm for a brief moment. She didn’t think anything of it, while the second year players thought otherwise.
Meanwhile Tetsu held your hand as you walked across the street, stating that he deserved a treat for winning the practice game today. It worked out since you were also hungry, having a small lunch today. He waited at a table booth while you ordered, his signature vanilla shake and a burger and fries for you.
You sat beside him, Tetsu talking about his classes that day while sipping on his drink to let you eat without interruptions. It was nice having something he didn’t share with others; Tetsu’s talkative side mostly reserved for situations when it was just you two. Otherwise, he was never this chatty with people.
Someone suddenly sits down in front of you, the amount of burgers on their tray making your eyes go wide. Only then you realize that it’s…
“Kagami?” His head perks up at the sound of his name, eyes on you first before he sees Kuroko beside you. He nearly chokes on his food, bewildered to see the two of you together. “Hello.” Kuroko greets, sipping on his drink. “Where’d you come from? What are you doing here?!” Kagami seems more surprised at the fact Kuroko was there, making you the invisible one.
“I was sitting here first. Me and my girlfriend stopped by to eat. I like this place’s vanilla shakes.” The sudden mention of the label makes your face heat up and hide your face in his shoulder. “Tetsu…” He looks at you, confused. “What? Are you not?” You really don’t feel like dumbing it down in front of Kagami. “I am, but it was so sudden.”
“Girlfriend?! You two are dating!?” Kuroko nods, taking a fry from you. “Hey, hands off. If you wanted fries, you should’ve told me.” He pouts, Kagami sighing. “Here.” He tosses Kuroko a burger while you check your phone, the time having you rush to grab your things.
“What’s wrong?” Tetsu asks, watching you scurry. “I really need to get home. I don’t want my mom to ground me. Are you gonna walk with Kagami?” You feel like a parent, asking who your boyfriend is with. “Maybe, but I can walk alone. Text me when you get home.” His hand glides over yours as you both say your goodbyes, Kagami there to witness the whole thing.
“I feel like I’m interrupting something.”
“You aren’t. What were you saying?”
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
The sliding door opens, the person you’re looking for happily sipping on a milk carton with her head in the clouds. Tetsu then strays from you, standing at the side of her desk. “I’d like an official club membership form.” He says with no greeting, Aida spitting her drink everywhere. You have to stifle a laugh to avoid her from flaming up at you.
“Geez, Kuroko, you came out of nowhere!” Aida wipes down her desk, noticing you standing by the door. “I was standing here the whole time.” She sighs, reaching into her bag and pulling out a sheet of paper, handing it to him. “I’ll only accept the forms Monday at 8:40 on the roof.” Kuroko nods, meeting you at the door. “Thank you.” He says before sliding the door shut.
An article posted outside the library catches your attention, Tetsu stopping beside you to read it. It was their debut in a tournament from last year, which displayed and wrote about Seirin’s excellency for a now school. “They’re good.” You say, mostly to yourself, hearing your boyfriend huff in response.
“Hey L/N.” Kagami greets, stopping to read the article as well. “He wasn’t kidding.” His eyes scanned over the article, eyes mostly drawn to the two images on the sides. “Yes, they’re strong.” Kuroko says, making him jump.
“What is wrong with you?! Stop coming out of nowhere!” Kagami seems to completely forget about your presence, only focusing on Tetsu when he shushes him and points at the sign for the library. He grabs his head, threatening to beat him up until you whack him in the gut. “Stop that.” You say, walking away with Tetsu while Kagami doesn’t seem to notice.
For as long as you’ve been hanging out with Tetsu, he’s been quite antsy waiting for Monday, mostly worried about forgetting the whole ordeal on the roof. He couldn’t forget with how much he was thinking about it. The whole thing being 5 minutes before the morning assembly was your only concern. You stood beside Aida on the roof, the first years lined up in front of her as she makes a motivational speech for them.
Frankly, you thought it was too early in the morning for this.
“Give me your year, class, name, and your goal for this term and announce it to the entire student body! If you fail to achieve them, you’ll come back up here, strip naked and confess your feelings for the girl you love.” That last part definitely caught you off guard, knowing Tetsu was either unwilling to be so bold or work his ass off in order to avoid the humiliation.
“I have a question.” Kuroko raises his hand, Aida giving him permission to speak. “Since I’m dating Y/N, do I have to comply with the punishments in front of her?” The coach’s eyes go wide while you’re left with a hot face, flustered, practically informing part of the team of your relationship with him. Kagami was simply surprised at his boldness while the other three were yelling in shock.
“You’re dating L/N!?”
“Since when?!”
Aida blew her whistle, the three shutting up and standing still. “I suppose… that works. It’s only fair.” Tetsu was calm and collected about everything, but this? How could he be so reserved when he just agreed to go nude in front of you if he wasn’t a good player?
Something felt off while the players yelled, the students staring up at the balcony rather than paying attention to the assembly. You moved from the rail to the side of the entrance where no one could see you, Aida letting you be since Tetsu was the last person to go.
He never went, those in sight being ridiculed by staff while you stayed hidden, holding in your laughs. You’d rather be yelled at by the coach than an actual teacher.
You met with Tetsu after school, him placing a hand on your shoulder before asking you something. “Again? Really? Fine, but you’re gonna be alone this time. I have to go home.” He sighs defeatedly, giving you a hug. “Text me.” You nod, going ahead while Tetsu walks into the diner.
You wonder if Tetsu was ever going to announce his goal publicly after receiving a text from him that reminded you of the whole ordeal. After running into Kagami on the way to class, you both enter the room to see students lined up against the windows, seemingly looking at something outside. You make room for yourself and the tall player and notice writing on the field outside.
We will be the best in Japan
You turn around and see Tetsu standing behind you, looking at you before saying, “I’ll do it for the school, for the team, and I’ll do it for you.” You try to say something, but to know you’re one of his motivations for such a difficult goal made you fall in love with him even more. You hugged him, making him jump a little bit before he hugged you back.
Luckily everybody was too focused on the field that nobody noticed you two, besides Kagami. He simply gave Kuroko a thumbs up.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
“Ryō?” You mutter, noticing him sitting on the stage with a line of girls going out the door. You didn’t pay attention to the coach, the only important thing she was saying being a practice game against Kaijo High anyways. Tetsu would remember. You walk over, catching Kise’s attention. He says something to the girls that you can’t make out.
“Is that Y/N L/N? The former manager of Teiko Middle School Basketball Club?” He asks in an overdramatic tone, jumping down from the stage to meet you. “What are you doing here?” You ask, a pout appearing on Ryō’s face. “Wow, not even a hello to your older brother? We haven’t seen each other in ages! Where’s Kurokocchi?” His eyes eventually land on Tetsu. “It’s good to see you again.” Tetsu says.
“Brother?!” The team yells.
“No. Everyone called them ‘practical siblings’ in middle school since Y/N was always scolding him.” Kuroko explains.
“Good to see you, too,” Kise replies. “Going back to your informal greeting, Y/N-cchi, when I heard our next opponent was Seirin, I remembered you two went here, so I came by to say hello. And besides, the three of us got along best in middle school.” You scoff, hitting him in the side. “You sure about that?”
“You haven’t changed at all! Still so mean…” He fake cries.
“I’m staying that way.”
“‘Ryōta Kise. Though he started basketball his second year of middle school, his exceptional physical ability and sense got him on the Teiko team as a regular in a heartbeat.” Furihata says, the article having you feel sympathy for Tetsu. He never got his own personalized interview for that magazine, and every time it comes up, you can’t help but feel bad for your boyfriend.
You obviously care more than Tetsu does.
“That article exaggerated quite a bit, y’know? I’m glad to be called part of the Generation of Miracles but I’m the worst of the bunch.” Kise says. “You really are.” You joke, him shoving you. “Don’t make me feel worse about it than I already do!” He cries. You laugh at him, seeing the almost angry look on Kagami’s face, who stood at a distance.
You never really knew what was going on in Kagami’s head, so you assumed that he wasn’t really angry. If anything, that was his excited face.“Kise, get out of here, practice is still going on.” You nudge him repeatedly in the side. “Aw, why?” He drags out the ‘y’, pouting. “Do you not miss me? I wanna know what you’ve been up to!”
“I’ll talk to you at the game, okay? Just get out, you’re interrupting.” You shove him away from the team.
Aida begins to intervene. “Actually, we still have 5 minutes left–“
“Do you really want this idiot having full knowledge of our plays to inform his coach about?”
“Hey, I am not an idiot!”
Aida looks at you bickering with the Kaijo player before sighing, “Well, I guess we can cut it short for today–“ Suddenly, a ball is thrown at him, everyone turning to Kagami after seeing where it came from.
And the rest of practice consisted of you shoving Kise out of the gym after his little scrimmage against Kagami.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
One of the things that was going on in the minds of the benched Kaijo players’ mind was:
‘Damn, Seirin’s manager is cute!’
Meanwhile you were thinking…
That was one hell of a block.
Kagami practically climbed into the air, pushing himself up with Tetsu’s head and blocking Kise’s three-pointer.
“Fast break!” Kagami shouts, prompting everyone on the court to turn around. Kise turns around quickly, not paying attention to his surroundings, his hand whacking Kuroko in the face.
“Te– Kuroko!”
He falls back, lucky to not have hit his head. You look at Aida, who’s attention is on the injured player. You try to run to him while she’s distracted, but grabs and holds you back from going onto the court. He gets up slowly, footsteps uneven with his eyes focused on the ground.
Kagami and Hyūga check up on him, everything supposedly going okay until Tetsu collapses onto the ground. Only then do you realize that he’s bleeding. You break free from Aida’s grasp, running over to pick him up, supporting him with one of his arms around your shoulders back to the bench.
“Y/N-cchi…!” Kise merely looks at the two of you, your backs facing him. “I didn’t mean for this to happen– I’m sorry.” Your head turns just enough for you to see him out of the corner of your eye. “Don’t apologize to me. If this ever happens again, I’m going to rip your piercings out of your ears.” You threaten, walking away. Kise knows that you joke around when you say things like that, but you sounded completely serious this time.
For once, he was intimidated by your unknown sarcasm.
Tetsu laid on a mat behind the bench, bandages wrapped around his head, a bit of dried blood here and there but nothing too drastic. For the rest of the second quarter and a bit of the third, you stayed by his side, holding his hand and keeping your ears open for anything important the coach had to say when the game was paused. Aida kept track of points, rebounds and assists for you while you tended to an unconscious Kuroko. After a bit, you feel a squeeze on your hand, noticing that Tetsu’s eyes opened a little bit.
He tries to get up, but you usher him to lay back down for a bit, noticing he’s visibly tired. “Are you okay? Does your head hurt? Do you need anything?” You ask him these questions knowing he may not have been in the best state to comprehend all of them. “Have you been sitting with me this whole time? You should be working.” He says, looking at the benched team members.
“I did help a bit during halftime. Aida let me stay with you, said she needed someone to watch over you.” A smile grows on your face knowing that he’s okay. You’re still concerned. “Are you still gonna play?” You ask. “Yes.”
Tetsu was a persistent person, so whatever he says he will or will not do is the thing that sticks through. But knowing he was going to play after getting hurt? It scared you. “I’ll be okay. If I get hurt again, you’ll be there to help me. Please don’t worry.” He sits up, his hands cupping your face. He pulls your face towards his, giving you a kiss on the cheek.
There’s too many things going on right now. Your heart is racing, your face is hot, you feel so giddy but also so surprised. That was the first time he ever… kissed your cheek. He didn’t care if anyone was looking. He didn’t even care if no one or everyone saw, he just did it.
“What’s the matter? Are you okay?” You’re left stunned while he looks at you confused. “Yeah! Yeah, I’m fine, I’m great!” You get up, brushing off your skirt and helping Tetsu up. He pats your head, walking over to Aida to let himself back into the game.
For the rest of the game, you can’t help but think of how gentle he was when he cupped your face. How his kiss was soft and sweet on your cheek, He might’ve noticed how warm your face was, but if he did, he would’ve called you out for it. Your hand rested on the cheek where he kissed you, spacing out continuously.
“Y/N! Kagami scored again!” Aida yells, prompting you to mark it down on the clipboard. “Geez, what’s gotten into you? First Kuroko, now you?” You giggle while your hand rests on your cheek again, Aida knocking you on the head so you could pay attention.
You’re thankful that she did, because you got to witness your team’s first win. Even if it was only a practice game.
100 - 98
They worked hard for it. They deserved it.
You even witnessed Kise cry for the first time. Part of you feels bad for him, but the other part is glad karma has done its job. It may have been an accident, but it still pissed you off.
Quiet mutters come from the spectators up on the balconies.
You cry out a celebratory roar from the bench, Kagami following right after. The third years return Aida’s thumbs up, while she jumps after feeling a pair of arms wrap around her. “We did it! We won, Aida!” She has no idea how to react, resorting to resting her arm and patting you on the back.
Tetsu breathing heavily on the court catches your eye. Sweat drips from his forehead as he pants, but weirdly enough, he looked handsome.
After the winning declaration, you swear you’ve never seen Coach glow with such brightness before. She’s practically beaming. Tetsu sits down on the bench while you hold his towel, wiping the sweat off his face and checking his bandages. His face rests in your hand, while your eyes scan over the bandages. “We’re gonna go to the hospital after this. I don’t wanna risk anything.” He nods, leaning in to have his forehead touching yours.
You’re hiding the fact you’re freaking out very well since he isn’t saying anything.
“I’m going to kill Ryō.” You laugh. “Don’t do that. It’s not his fault.” You pull away first, getting up to get the sheet from the scorekeepers. Kise appears at the table as well, taking the other sheet. “Y/N-cchi, can I talk to you?” He asks. You don’t say anything but nod, following him out of the gym. Tetsu watches you walk off, unsure of how he should feel at the sight of the two of you together.
Alone.
“You and Kurokocchi are going out? I never thought he’d really own up to it.” You freeze, having to run to catch up with Kise. “Wha– how did you know? What do you mean by that?” He scoffs, stopping at an outside faucet. “I don’t think a manager would run onto the court for any boy, like him or not.”
You don’t respond, your phone buzzing in your small bag. “How long?” Kise asks before turning the faucet on to splash his face. “Since January.”
Tetsu had been the one to make the first move. At first, you were worried about the opinions of other people; your parents, your friends, Satsuki. You slowly started to realize that he didn’t care what others thought. He liked you and confessed to you for a reason. He’s done things with you he wouldn’t dare to do with another person. It showed how much he trusted you, and your face goes warm every time you think about it.
“He never showed you off in middle school like he did in the game today.”
“Tetsu mostly kept it a secret from you guys. He was… wary around Satsuki. It was harder since I hung out with her a lot. Otherwise, he was open about it when all of you weren’t around.”
“So he’s been kissing you at school and I’m just never there to see it?”
A rush of heat grows onto your face, making you hit Kise in the stomach. “We have not! You are so ridiculous…” Your phone buzzes again, this time you check who it is. A bunch of texts from Tetsu appear on your screen, a few calls as well.
Y/N
Y/N
Y/N
Where are you?
Please come back, we’re waiting for you
I miss you
Please hurry
Y/N
Don’t ignore me
I know you’re holding your phone right now
Please pick up
I’m getting worried
Coach is getting frustrated
“He’s really hung up on you, huh? He’s liked you since October, y’know. He always came to me for advice or just to talk to me about you.” Kise laughs at the memory. “Really?”
“Yeah! He’d say, ‘Y/N is so pretty’ or, ‘Y/N looks really good today’. He said you looked good every day, actually.” Your brain goes into overdrive, the thought of being admired like that seeming unreal. “We should keep in touch! I’ll give you my number.” He holds his hand out, you tossing him your phone. “Make it quick.”
Kise punches in his phone number, handing you back your phone. “See you at the Inter-High!” He waves, watching you walk away. You meet up with the team, Tetsu welcoming you back with open arms. “What took you so long? Is everything alright?” He questions, holding your hand. “Ryō wanted to talk to me. He found out we were dating.”
Tetsu tenses up a little bit. “He didn’t… tell you anything, did he?”
‘He’d say, ‘Y/N is so pretty’ or, ‘Y/N looks really good today’. He said you looked good every day, actually.’
“Well… he may or may not have said one thing.”
Tetsu suddenly jerks, covering his face with his other hand. It’s one of the only times you’ve seen him embarrassed, but really, it makes you laugh. His face is a bit red and he refuses to make eye contact with you, avoiding your gaze.
“What did he tell you?”
“That you talked about me every day with him.”
“Oh, that’s not… I thought he told you something else.”
“Like what?” Tetsu doesn’t respond, simply walking along like he didn’t hear your question. “Tetsu, don’t ignore me, now I’m curious!” You shake him slightly, emitting a giggle from him. “You know that love note you got in your bag that you wouldn’t stop talking about?”
“The one I got the day before Christmas break?” He nods. “That was me. I wanted to be the one to tell you about it, not Kise.” That’s why he seemed a bit antsy earlier at the mention of Kise saying something. “I reread that note over and over again for a week trying to figure out who wrote it. I have it hung up in my room.”
“I know. I saw.”
“Why didn’t you say anything?”
“I figured I’d bring it up sometime, but I didn’t know how to say it.”
He pauses, feeling you lean against him. “Why didn’t you call me that when I got hit?” He asks, leaving you confused. “Call you what?”
“Tetsu.” He refers to the moment where you called his name, being held back by the coach from running onto the court. “Ryō only knew I called you by Tetsuya before we graduated. I think he would’ve caught on if I called you that. I tried to play it safe.”
“I guess I can understand why you did that. Kise’s one to gossip.”
“I’m sorry if it hurt you.”
“It’s okay. Knowing Kise, you did the right thing.”
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
“Momoi’s gonna freak when she finds out you two are a thing.”
“You aren’t going to tell her, are you?”
“No, no, I won’t. I’m sure she’ll find out on her own. Why?”
“Because I want to be the one to tell her.”
Kise freezes, surprised. ‘So bold!’
“Y-You’re really okay with her finding out?” He stutters, spinning the ball on his finger. “She knows I don’t like her back.” Kise drops his finger, catching the ball in his hand. “Well, yeah, but her and Y/N-cchi were best friends! Don’t you think she’ll feel a little hurt after knowing her best friend of her entire junior high career is going out with the guy she loves?”
Kuroko pauses, Kise passing the ball for him to catch. “Momoi needs to know. Y/N is my girlfriend, not her. She needs to accept that. Besides, Y/N’s changed. She’s tougher and isn’t afraid to confront others.”
“Hasn’t she always been like that?”
“She got into an argument with the captain and won. She’s broken through our coach’s shell multiple times. She made me run extra laps after conditioning.”
“Okay, I get your point. Still, you know Momoi. She doesn’t stop.” Kuroko shrugs. “You underestimate Y/N. If anything happens, I’ll intervene.” He says, a look only Kise could recognize on his face. “What’s wrong? You okay?” Kise hunches to look at Kuroko’s face, the doubt more visible.
“I’m fine.”
“Well, you don’t look fine. We’ll never see each other again after this, so might as well tell me now.” Kuroko sighs, embarrassed to look at his former teammate in the eye. “Is it too soon for me to make any moves on Y/N?” Kise cocks an eyebrow, catching the ball that Kuroko passed back to him. “What do you mean?”
“I’ve only been going out with Y/N for three months and I don’t wanna make her uncomfortable but… we haven’t kissed yet.” Kise nearly bursts into laughter at his worry. “I never thought that Kurokocchi would ever worry about kissing!” He giggles, getting up from the table he was sitting on. “I haven’t even gone out with anyone yet, now that I think about it. Geez, you’re one lucky guy.”
Was Kuroko’s kiss on your cheek so discreet that even Kise didn’t see it? Not even out of the corner of his eye?
“What should I do?” Kuroko asks, Kise trying to come up with a solution. “The guy always has to make the first move, remember that. You confessed to her first, so you should initiate it.”
“So do I just kiss her out of nowhere?”
“What– no! Let me finish!” Kise stutters. “You didn’t pressure her into forcing her to go out with you. She already liked you, right?” Kuroko nods, Kise going back to thinking again. “Well, I think you should… no, I know you should ask her first before you kiss her. You don’t want to pressure her into something she doesn’t want to do. If she’s ready to kiss you, then she’ll let you do it. Like how she was ready to be in a relationship with you.”
“I see.” Kuroko mutters. “If she says no, then you wait. Good boyfriends are willing to be patient. Don’t be greedy.” Kise plays around with the basketball in his hand, Kuroko’s eyes stuck on him the whole time. “You know, you give good relationship advice for someone who hasn’t had a girlfriend yet.”
“Why’d you have to say it like that?!”
“You idiot, why’d you disappear like that?” Kagami looms over Kuroko, Kise’s eyes wide.
“What are you looking at?” Kagami sneers, staring down Kise. “What is she doing?!” He panics. Kagami turns around, seeing you confronting a much older boy on the basketball court behind them. “Y/N! What’s wrong with you– get out of there!” Kagami yells to no avail, feeling a hand on his shoulder. “Come on. Let’s go help.” Kise pats him, guiding him towards the court.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
“I didn’t even know you played! Why didn’t you tell any of us?” Kise wails, stretching after the win against those thugs. “Tetsu knows. I played club basketball; none of you would’ve known.” You answer, feeling Tetsu’s fingers intertwine with yours. “How come you stopped?”
“I started to hate it. It made me hate myself.” You confess, the air suddenly becoming awkward. “Sorry! You just asked, so I answered.” You laugh, embarrassed at killing the mood. “You would’ve gotten crushed playing alone. You’re lucky we were there.” Kagami scolds.
“I still think I could’ve done it on my own.” You shrug, feeling Tetsu let go of your hand. His arm then wraps around your shoulders, pulling you in a little bit. “Please be careful next time. You might’ve gotten hurt.” You blush, stuttering over your words. “Y-You’re one to talk! You ran off with Kise without even telling me!”
“Did I not text you?” You flip open your phone, showing him a message from earlier that day. He then takes out his own phone, showing that his message wasn’t delivered. “Tetsu…!” You hit him on the head, his other hand rubbing over the spot. He noticed Kise looking at the two of you, more specifically him, giving him a look and a thumbs up before being tackled by their coach on the spot.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
The day before Seirin’s first preliminary match against Shinkyō, both you and Tetsu planned for him to come over to your house, since it was closer to the meeting spot the team had planned for the following day. He’d been working hard, balancing athletics and academics, managing to stay on top of both things with your help. Sometimes Kagami tagged along with the two of you, always worried he was third-wheeling.
This time, it was just you and him. You both got home after an evening outdoor court practice since Tetsu was so antsy, luckily you weren’t out for long. You looked over your notes, taking peeks over your book when you suddenly remembered that this was your own room.
Meaning there was only one bed.
Sure, Tetsu’s stayed over before, but you always insisted on sleeping on the floor since your relationship was just starting at the time and you didn’t wanna make it awkward. But now that you two were closer, you wondered if it would change.
“Tetsu, I can sleep on the floor again if you’d like.”
“No thanks. We can share.”
…Huh? Did he really just say that?
You two would be so close if you slept in your bed together, way too close, in fact. “Are you really okay with that?” You ask, making sure you’re fully awake by pinching yourself. He nods. “I am. Are you?” You break eye contact, trying to bury your face in your book. “I mean, as long as you’re okay with it…”
He gets up and turns on the lamp by your bed, turning off the main light and sitting down next to you. Meanwhile, you’re trying not to freak out being in such close proximity with him in your bed. You’re too busy freaking out that you don’t notice him taking your notes out of your hand and putting them on your desk. “We revised yesterday. We should be okay.”
“Oh, I know, I was just… I don’t know, looking over it.” You say, Tetsu getting back under the covers. “Is this too uncomfortable for you? I can sleep on the floor.” He seems to notice your distress by making that offer. “No, no, it’s okay! I just… haven’t shared a bed with anyone before, so this is kind of… new to me.”
“Are you sure? I don’t want to pressure you or anything. I just figured since our previous sleepovers that this was okay.”
“It’s fine, Tetsu, really. I’ll just face the wall the entire night. I do kick in my sleep, though, just a warning.” He eyes you, his lips pursed shut for a moment. “Can I kiss you?”
“Eh…” Your face bursts into flames, flustered and shy at his sudden question. “WHAT?! Where did this come from…!?” You mutter, looking at your boyfriend’s completely monotone face. “I was told to ask you first in case you didn’t want to. Is this a no?”
“No,” you say repeatedly, panic imminent in your voice. “It was just so out of nowhere and so sudden and… I’m sorry for panicking but yes, you can kiss me but–“ Tetsu suddenly leans forward and presses his lips on yours, his hand then gently holding your jaw. Your eyes shut and so do his, your lips shifting and resting at a more comfortable position.
He pulls away, admiring every part of your face. “Is it too soon for this to happen?” He asks innocently, hand still resting on your jaw. “No. Why?” He leans in closer, your foreheads touching. “I want to do that again.” You smile, this time you initiate the kiss, planting your lips against his. This kiss was smoother, comfortable, his other hand holding you close to him as if you weren’t already close enough. Your lips glide awkwardly against his, but his follow every time you move.
Is this really what making out is?
You pull away after a few minutes, noticing the mix of disappointment and eagerness on Tetsu’s face. “We need to rest. You have a game tomorrow.” He pouts while you lean across him, turning off the lamp and laying back down. Your hands hold onto his arm while your head moves closer to his, resting on his shoulder.
“I love you, Y/N.”
Tetsu was full of surprises that night. Your heart begins to race at those three words, your face warming his shoulder. “Really? You mean it?” You feel him nod and turn his head, his chin resting atop of your head. “I understand if you aren’t ready to say it yet. I can wait.”
God, he was so patient with you, and that made you fall in love with him even more. “I love you too. Goodnight, Tetsu.” You feel him give you a peck on the top of your head, his arm wrapping around you and pulling you closer to him. He was so warm, his presence comforting, his hugs tight and secure, like he wanted the moment to last forever.
At the same time, he hoped the feeling of his own heart racing wouldn’t wake you up.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
You waited in the change room labelled for your school while waiting for the rest of the team to arrive. You both had left early in fear of arriving late, but the crosswalks were on your side today, and you got there way earlier than you should have.
You peeked out of the room every once in a while, none of the team outside making you panic. Until you remembered that you were supposed to meet up somewhere with all of them. You frantically turn around and pull out your phone, hearing Tetsu say your name.
“I texted Kagami already. He knows.” You let out a sigh of relief and walk over to Tetsu’s side of the room, sitting down next to him and letting your head fall on his shoulder. His hand ghosts over yours for a second before he finally holds it. “Shouldn’t you get changed?”
“We have time. I want to stay with you like this for a bit.” He says. You lean into his touch, drowning yourself in the sound of your own heartbeat. Your head turns, chin perked up on his shoulder to look at him. He notices, staring deep into your eyes like he could see the thoughts behind them.
“If you’re gonna kiss me, just do it.” You mutter with a smile, Tetsu taking the hint and leaning forward to kiss you. Your lips meet, the moment so sweet that you don’t hear the door open.
The sight of many bewildered second years appears out of the corner of your eye, prompting you to pull away and hide your face. “Hello.” Tetsu greets nonchalantly, as if he didn’t just have his lips on yours earlier. A symphony of shocked cries come from the second years.
“When–?!”
“You two are dating?”
“Why did we not notice…!?”
“I thought it was obvious! Didn’t Aida tell you? Kagami?” They look at you, still stunned. “Any of the first years?” They all shake their heads, leaving you surprised at their cluelessness. “They hold hands all the time, idiots, you think that regular friends do that normally?” Kagami sneers at their obliviousness.
“To be honest, they never told us. I didn’t think Kuroko was the type to start dating so early.” Hyūga admits. “And Kagami…” He starts. “Learn to respect your upperclassmen, okay?” Kagami flinches at his captain, immediately going to claim a locker.
You kiss Tetsu on the forehead before getting up. “Get changed, okay? You got this.” Before you can leave, he grabs your wrist.
Kagami watches as his duo says something to you, making you rush out of the room.
“What did you say?” He asks.
“I’ll win this game for her.”

Basic Instinct Part 5
Basic Instinct Part 5
A/N: Finally, part 5! We’re getting closer to the reader and Akashi finally becoming a couple and Akashi is granted another nugget of the reader’s personal philosophy, but there are schemers lurking in the dark. Other then my usual warnings, there are mentions of bystanders who do nothing, in case that’s painful for anyone.  Masterpost
Akashi grinned as he saw you approach the team. Rakuzan had just won a practise match against Seiho, and you were practically jumping on the team. "You guys did amazing!" This, was of course a fact, but Akashi couldn't help but feel a little flustered at your bright, excited demeanor. "Thank you L/n-san, we appreciate your enthusiasm." Reo replied with a smile gracing his features. "Are you guys hungry?" You asked, considering the practise match took place just after classes, with Seiho's team having a free day off of school. Apparantly, the school was excused for a few days because of a fire accident during chemistry class which Akashi had used to his advantage, how he knew, you had no clue. This guy really was absolute. Eikichi belted out a big, "YEAH!" as Kotaro nodded quickly. "Good, because I'm treating you all to the Maji Burger. It's about damn time I repay you Seijuro," you said confidently, although your confidence slightly faltered upon seeing Nebuya's enthusiasm. Akashi noticed, of course. 'Her mother definitely doesn't makes enough to cover for his appetite, and of course she's a volunteer who's too sweet to work for money.' "I'm covering for Nebuya." He turned his head to his teammate and added, "You shouldn't take advantage of someone's kindness like that." Eikichi rubbbed the back of his head with a guilty expression on his face. You smiled, totally melting at his generosity, and the fact he just saved you from going completely broke.
After you all ate, Akashi insisted on walking you home. He had noticed a few things about you that dinner, something only a group setting and a public situation like this would showcase. Like how your confidence bordered on fearlessness when you were joking around with Kotaro. You didn't seem to care at all at what someone thought of you. It wasn't just at school where you were in a familiar enviroment with everyone knowing you. Your playful confidence and jokes were a constant, and with his teammates bringing more liveliness to the party, it added fuel to your lovely fire. He wondered how you did that, not being afraid to make a total fool out of yourself. "Dinner was quite fun." He said. "Yeah! Everyone was so nice, and I had quite a good laugh." You replied, your smile bright. "Well, you certainly were the heart and soul of our party. I cannot believe you got Kotaro to dance with you in the queue." "Well, there's nothing wrong with a little victory dance." You chirped. "I'm not saying there is. Just curious how you can muster that confidence." Akashi confessed. "Eh?" You asked him, not believing he of all people was asking you about confidence. You blinked a couple of times, before honestly replying, "Well, it's to do with my life's philosophy." "Your belief in great sorrow and great joy?" "Yeah. It was around the time where I adopted my philosophy, when I had this certain thought. It's true what they say in all those guilt-tripping charity commercials, most people would rather close their eyes to what injustice is in front of them. With your life, with what happened at Teiko, isn't that exactly what people did? I learnt that too, painfully well, with my own mother. You admitted to me you investigated me, yet the neighbor who told you about my mom's actions never did something about it, and there are more. It's what people do," you took a deep breath before continuing. "So then I thought to myself, if people don't want to see what's going on when my life sucks, they shouldn't suddenly open their eyes once I'm happy and feeling alive. Let the blind remain blind. The people who keep their eyes open no matter what are the only people who matter." "And thus you stopped caring for superficial people, including their opinions." Akashi concluded, and you nodded, looking slightly uncomfortable at being vulnerable. "It's difficult to find happiness if you care about everyone else's before your own. That same thought should go for trying to please others by behaving accordingly when following your heart is a harmless thing to do." 'A harmless thing to do...' Akashi thought about it. "Have I ever told you that you are wise for your age before?" "No, you haven't. But thank you." You smiled at the compliment, your eyes casted down as you were to one to feel slightly flustered this time. Akashi smiled at your reponse, and longed to grab your hand. "I'm happy we're friends," was what he said instead. "Me too." You replied softly, and you bit your lip as you noticed you were already at your street. Akashi wished he didn't had to watch you leave, but he swallowed back how he felt, and wished you goodnight. Your big e/c eyes were staring back at his own, "Goodnight, Seijuro." You said, before you slipped into your home. Which has made him feel like he was dying because of mutiple reasons.
1. You were leaving. 2. You wished him goodnight for the first time ever. 3. Your voice sounded so very sweet when you did. 4. You called him by his first name again.
'This girl has such a gigantic power over me, and she doesn't even has a clue.'
Who did have a clue, was his father, who was getting very impatient at the fact his son wasn't home yet. 'She gets him to skip classes, both at school AND home, and he spends the free time he does have on dates with her. He should get a better grip on himself.' The man was silently seething in anger, because this wasn't how he had raised his son. Fujioka, on the other hand, was watching on with a pit of dread forming in his stomach. He feared for the young master's return. Not because he was worried for the young master's safety, but for whatever punishment would await him when he'd get home. The boy already had such a workload, and whomever the girl he was seeing was, she seemed to try and save whatever was left of the young master's childhood. The boy should be a boy. Fujioka-san knew, that whilst his master didn't like your influence, Shiori-Sama would have approved of it. He couldn't help but look forward to the future, when a kind mistress would be the lady of the house once more. So when Akashi finally arrived home, he preprared himself. 'I'll defend the young master and his blossoming love from Masaomi-Sama. It's what Shiori-Sama would have wanted, and I was her servant first.'

Sneak Peek
To apologize my hectic schedule and not fulfilling my promise(?) of releasing that Kise enemies-to-lovers!/soulmate!/manga kise!au fic series for MONTHS, here's a little ~preview~ of the first chapter. I literally have 38 damn pages of this WIP and it's only in chapter FIVE in my docs and not even half way through this plot??? I hate myself LMAO I PROMISE YALL I DID NOT DITCH THIS PROJECT
current 🏷: @nadav-ii @carinacassiopeiae @kendrex13 @roppongiperfume @thesongstressayre @kimigiri09 @takatul @evierena @one-one-one-one
A/N: The brunette that flirted with Haizaki is nameless, so I just named her Hana. Yeah, no creativity on my end, anyways--
[Kise x fem!Reader]
First Section:
———
Second Section:
———
Third Section:

HELLO.
I don't know if you can write this but
I want to request a Akashi x Reader thing like like kien hahvahsbs (THIS IS A FIRST TIME U REQUEST FROM YOU)
The reader is Akashi's best friends since children but sadly they went to another country bc of family business and stuff. Years later they found each other and hugged after a long time ongomgogm
Am so sorry if this is such a struggle 😭😭
I love how my blog is technically also about KNB not somehow I never wrote anything only Kuroko no Basket related, and yet my first request is about Akashi who is (in my opinion) one of the hardest character to write about 😭🫶 But love you and I hope you enjoyed it, sorry it took me so long
Gn!reader x Akashi Seijiuro
- You and Akashi did not hit it off right away, it was more of a slowburn when you were kids. At first you felt jealous about how amazing he was in everything he tried just once, but the more you spent time with him, the more you felt sorry for him. It was actually awful to be perfect.
- One day when you were 5, you just told him, that he is amazing, but not only because he is perfect, but he will still be amazing even if he fails from time to time, which felt so off from what he was taught, so he didn’t believe you at first. What do you mean fail? But later on, he somehow felt comforted by your presence just because he knew that, if he ever fails, you won’t judge him for it. And it was a beginning of a very strong friendship.
- For years you and Akashi were the strongest duo know in the school. He would always have your back and everyone knew they cannot say anything bad about you, if they want to live. And Akashi would know that he can always count on you whenever he just needed comfort, even a silent one. You were a ride or die.
- … Until your dad got a job overseas right before middle school. You two were so exciting to go to Teiko together, and now none of you wanted to even say out loud how heartbroken you felt.
- He gave you a necklace to keep, just a simple chain with a jade on it - jade was always associated with emperor, so it naturally reminded you of him. However none of you decided to give any emotional speech. The only words that lingered in between you two was “we will meet again”
- For a year you kept in touch by messages, but the longer you’ve been gone, the less frequent it got. You kept tabs on Teiko’s amazing wins, but you could feel that something changed in Akashi.
- Between second year of middle school till second year of high school, you stopped talking at all and it broke your heart. You still wore the necklace everyday.
- Around beginning of second year of high school, you got a call out of the blue. It was him.
“Hey” you heard a familiar voice. It got a little more deep and rough, but it still brought back so many memories. “I didn’t know if you’ll answer”
You stayed silent for a while. “Of course I would”
After this couple words an awkward silence filled the line. What else could you say? How are you? What were you doing for the past years?
“I’m sorry” he said. You knew Akashi Seijiuro for years and one thing that you probably never heard from him was an apology. And him ordering fast food. “I missed you. I don’t think you would be proud of what person I was in the past years” His voice felt a little weak, for the proud and amazing Akashi Seijiuro you knew.
“Good. It means you are no longer perfect, doesn’t it?” You decided to keep quiet about how sad it made you to not get a single message in the past years.
“Yes. I guess so”
- After this surprising call, you came back to keeping in touch with each other. You were still in high school overseas, but now finally feeling Akashi’s presence in your life, it felt better, fuller. However also quite empty.
- You were having a phone call at least once per month when you talked like nothing changed. He told you that he plans to play basketball after high school, but wants to go to Tokyo University first. And that was the moment you decided what you want to do with your future too.
~ Two years later ~
Waiting for a luggage never felt longer than now. Why the hell did you have to bring this huge suitcase? Maybe carry on would be enough, for a whole damn moving back to Japan?
You noticed that you started sweating uncontrollably. Of course, now, when you really want to smell like this nice expensive perfume, you will stink like a shoe on a hot summer day. Perfect.
When you finally collected proper baggage, you slowly went towards the arrivals gate. It’s been six years when you last saw each other. Six whole years. What if he won’t recognise you anymore? You were playing with the jade on your neck to calm yourself down.
When you went through the door, you started to look around. Somehow in your mind Akashi is still a small boy with red hair, and you could only imagine how much he changed by seeing his pictures in the magazine photos. Would it be embarrassing if you mistake him for someone else? Doubts started to fill your head. And then, in just one moment, they all disappeared when you saw a familiar face in the crowd.
He got tall, extremely handsome, and he looked just so mature. Your eyes met and he smiled lightly. And in that very moment you felt like everything melt inside of you.
You fasten your steps and when it was only meters away, you dropped your suitcase and jumped into his arms. In this moment you were so thankful for all of this years of heavy training he did, because he held you like you weight nothing, and holding you was the most natural thing to do. You pressed your nose to the crook of his neck.
“Hey” you heard his deep voice, just like two years ago in your phone, but this time, it was louder and clearer. “I missed you”
You felt like your eyes started to water up. You moved away a little to look at his face.
“Yeah, I missed you too”
And on one hand you felt like nothing change and no time has passed, but on the other, just in this moment, you felt like everything will change from now on.

New Year came and went, followed by your 18th birthday. It was a big thing or at least you had the hunch it was. You would finally be able to drink legally, get a driver's license, and even smoke, but you doubted that you would be doing any of those things.
None of them appealed to you as Genya did but you wanted to wait until you were both 18 before you could do anything bigger than kissing. Your partner's birthday was just a couple of days or such from yours and you were slightly nervous about it.
What if he wanted to have sex immediately? You weren't sure if you were ready, but then you thought about the times you had been kissing and how you wanted to show him how much you actually really did love him. Wasn't sex after all the ultimate show of affection?
After all, you had both dreamt of that special night when the two of you would do more than share the bed. Those dreams were intense and often left you breathless once you woke up. It didn't help that you and Genya slept in the same bed.
Yes, you were ready. If Genya wanted it as much as you did then you would be ready to share that experience with him.
"Happy Birthday!" You heard Genya sing to you. He had requested you to close your eyes as he brought out his gift to you. You were sitting on the couch when you heard him approach you.
"You can open your eyes now," Genya smiled and you copied him as you opened your eyes and saw this delicious-looking chocolate cake with your name and age written on it, alongside 18 candles lit on it.
"I wasn't sure what to get for you so I hope you don't mind me getting you cake?" He sounded a little guilty, but you were honestly so happy to receive your first birthday cake in years.
"I love it Genya!" You smiled cheerfully as you looked at him, "Can I make a wish?"
"Y- yes, go ahead!" He nodded and you inhaled and blew all the candles out with one try. He smiled as he reached for the plates and cake server, "What did you wish?"
"If I told you, it wouldn't come true?" You chuckled as you watched him cut you a generous piece of cake. There was a small meow and you looked down to see Lady rub her head against your leg as if she wanted to also know what you wished for.
"No Lady, it's a secret," You chuckled, much to Genya's confusion, "What- Oh!" He just noticed Lady at your feet and smiled, "I think I have some wet food for you-!"
Lady immediately meowed out loud at the mention of wet food and quickly abandoned you to make her way to the kitchen where she always got the food.
Both you and Genya chucked a little and he went to open a can of wet food for Lady and you smiled as you watched him take care of your fur baby.
Secretly you wished for willpower to make it to the 7th day when Genya would turn 18 as well. Otherwise, your birthday went well. You and Genya ate cake and watched a movie, the usual fun stuff.
As your birthday passed, you started to prepare yourself for your loving partner's birthday. You went as far as to buy condoms and lube and it was maybe the most embarrassing thing you ever did!
You couldn't look the cashier in the eyes as you purchased the stuff and it was even worse when the cashier wished you a good day, as if they knew! Well, they probably had a hunch but it didn't make it any easier! Your face burned so badly as you left the convenience store and headed back home.
Finally, Genya's birthday came and you were nervous, but also happy. You woke up a little before Genya to dress up, go and prepare him a birthday hero's breakfast. Bacon, eggs, and toast! Not the fanciest thing, but you rarely had bacon so it should be enough.
"Morning…" Came Genya's voice. You turned to look and saw him yawning tiredly, but you couldn't help but smile at the sight of his wild bedhead.
"Morning hero!" You chirped happily as you made your way to him and pecked his cheek, "Your breakfast is done in a second!"
"Thank you," He thanked you, still held back by the sleep as he took a seat by the table and you served him, his breakfast. You watched him slowly wake up as he ate and soon he was scarfing his breakfast as if you hadn't fed him for days.
"Easy or you might choke!" You chuckled, "There is plenty more!"
"Sorry," He apologised and you shook your head, "No no, you can eat whatever you want and how much you want. This day is all about you."
And you felt good saying so. Genya swallowed his mouthful and nodded eagerly, ready to say something when suddenly the doorbell rang. You both glanced at each other in confusion.
"Are you expecting someone?" You asked and he shook his head, "No, you?"
You shook your head and got up to answer the door. Once you answered the door and saw who it was, you smiled and made way, "Genya, it's for you!"
"What-?" He got up, ready to come and see who it was, and just in time, as his 5 younger siblings came rushing inside.
"Big brother!" They all cheered as they ran to their older brother and hugged him, "Happy birthday big brother! You're an adult like big brother Sanemi is!"
"You guys!" Genya was all smiles as he hugged his siblings happily. You smiled at the heartwarming scene and you almost missed Genya's big brother and your math teacher Sanemi by the door.
"M- morning, sir!" You greeted him as you made way for him and the silver-haired man grumbled as he stepped into your apartment with a bag in each hand.
"Morning," He greeted you and you were thankful that you had changed your clothes from pajamas to your warm sweater. You closed the door behind the man and this caught your partner's attention.
"Big brother! You came also!" Genya gasped and Sanemi frowned a little, "Of course I came! You should feel honored because your sweet siblings wanted to come and surprise their big brother!"
"I- I am!" Genya nodded and his siblings hugged him happily, "We brought you a present!"
"And then we are heading out for lunch!"
"Thank you, everyone…!" Genya was truly happy and so were you as you looked at the heartwarming scene before you.
"Kitty!" Genya's younger siblings shouted as soon as they noticed Lady who was basking in morning sunlight on the couch. As soon as Lady sensed kids, she raised her head and yawned before meowing curiously.
The children immediately turned to look at their brothers, "Can we pet the kitty?"
"Yes, just be gentle," Genya nodded and his siblings cheered as they surrounded Lady. You were briefly scared that they would scare her, but the kids were so well-behaved that you had no reason to fear.
"Happy birthday," Your teacher said as he looked at you and Genya.
"This is for you," Sanemi said as he handed you the bag in his left hand and the other one to Genya. You blinked, stunned by the kind gesture. You never really got presents and to have something from your partner's family?
"T- thank you, sir!" You thanked your teacher who scoffed, "Kids chose them so you should thank them."
"Thank you!" You and Genya both thanked and you opened your bag and saw the cutest and sweetest thing ever. It was a picture of you guys during your Christmas party at Shinazugawa's house. You all looked so happy and you felt your eyes sting thanks to the kind gesture.
"Kids put their allowance together to buy them for you guys. Of course, I didn't let them buy anything too expensive." Sanemi said and you nodded as you looked at him, "Thank you, sir… This is the sweetest thing I've ever gotten."
"Thank you, big brother," Genya also thanked his brother, and hearing you two thank him so genuinely made the eldest brother flustered, "Thank the kids, not me!"
Hearing that they were called, the kids looked at you guys over their shoulders, "We wanted to take you guys out to eat also!"
"When?" You and Genya looked at each other since you had just eaten late breakfast. Sanemi looked at you guys and saw the half-empty plates on the table, "We can come back later to pick you up for lunch."
"Oh, if you want, would you like to stay here until lunch?" You asked, "I have pretty much manga and games if you want to try them?"
"Really?" The kids looked absolutely excited as they looked at their eldest brother, "Can we stay big brother? Please?"
"Alright, but don't bother Genya's girlfriend too much!" Sanemi gave in and the kids cheered as they made themselves comfortable with the girls petting Lady and boys rushing to your bookshelf to see your massive manga collection.
You smiled as you watched them enjoy themselves. You couldn't remember if your place was ever as lively as it was now. It was a nice feeling. You glanced at Sanemi and smiled, "Would you like some coffee, sir?"
"If you had any, then sure." The silver-haired man nodded and you smiled, "Make yourself comfortable on the couch and I'll bring you some."
The man nodded as he sat down and actually reached to pet Lady also. You were truly happy as you went to prepare coffee and while the coffee was brewing, that was when Genya walked to you, "Thank you."
"Hm?" You blinked, confused, "For what?"
"For being so kind to me and my family." He smiled a little, "I couldn't ask for a better birthday present."
"Well…" You quickly glanced at his siblings over his shoulder and once you were sure they couldn't hear you, you quickly pecked his lips, "I'll give you my present later."
"Wait, wh-?" He was about to ask when he noticed the blush and shy look in your eyes and he blushed as he realized what you meant, "O- oh!"
"Just… Wait for me?" You whispered and he swallowed as he nodded his head quickly, "Y- yes!"
You smiled as you kissed him quickly and if things went along with your plans then that wouldn't be his last kiss today.

↳ — Wordcount: 2k
↳ — Notes: Honestly this is my first time writing a character x reader and the first time in a while since I’ve wrote any smut soooo hopefully I did this some justice. Also no description just something I came up with while listening to SZA. Enjoy!
                                    ₀․₀₀◦────────────────◦ ₃․₁₅
“Y/N open the door” Midorima yelled as he continued to knock on the door, it was now going on week three since the last time you and Midorima had spoken to one another, and it was killing him how much you were ignoring him. he took it upon himself to ask you face to face. And now here he stood at your front door, not receiving a response from you he shook his head as he release a deep sighed. He had a feeling that you were upset with him but he wasn’t sure why thought. Seeing as how you wasn’t responding to any of his texts and calls he had made the decision to come over and talk to you in person of course you never came to the front door so what choice did he have but to give up and go back home. When leaving he heard the sound of the lock click indicating that someone had came to the door, turning around he was met by you.
Only having the door cracked just enough for you to peek out, being met with the male’s light green eyes, you gave him the meanest glare you could muster “are you going to continue to stand there and glare at me like a serial killer or are you going to let me in so we can talk like adults?” Rolling your eyes you opened the door wider signaling for the green hair male to come in as you made your way towards the kitchen. Walking around the island you crossed your arms over your chest giving the male your undivided attention.
Walking inside Midorima made sure that the door was shut before following you into the kitchen. Standing on the opposite of the island he huffed “what is it that I did this time?” he asked placing his hands on top of the marble island. “It what you don’t fucking do that’s the problem!” you shouted allowing your shoulders drop as you release a deep breath. This wasn’t the first time this topic was brought up between the two of you, you would complain how he never showed you any affections out in public or even acknowledge you as his girlfriend, he would tell you that he would work on it and tell you sweet nothings such as you’re the best thing that has happened in his life and that he was going to do better.
But his actions never lived up to his words, and then the cycle would continue to repeat itself over again and again and at this point you were tried of going through this. “You’re always telling him that you would show affection towards me when we’re out and yet last night at Kise party you act like I didn’t even exist! It’s like we’re back to being fuck buddies instead of girlfriend and boyfriend!” you complained, trying to keep your angry at bay “you’re contradicting as fuck! Maybe I should have gotten with Takao...better yet Akashi, I heard he’s still single” you smirked, reaching over to grab your phone “I hate you.”
Midorima didn’t say anything, he wasn’t dumb, not by a long shot he already knew what the problem was and instead of saying anything he allowed you this time to complain and let everything out but what he wasn’t expecting is for you to threaten hooking up with his best friend, or his former Teiko teammate especially Akashi, he knew you were taunting him, knowing the secret rivalry he held with the red hair, so the thought of you getting together Akashi with brought rage to the male and made him feel that disrespected. As if he would ever let you go that easily, the audacity of you challenging him ignited some sort of spark that he hadn’t felt before but also he didn’t mind the feeling.
Making his way around the island, grabbing your phone and throwing it against the wall causing it to break into pieces “my fucking phone!” you yelled, watching as the pieces fell to the ground. “Should have never disrespected me” he countered, as he towered over your small frame. Cocking your head back as you look the male up and down “disrespected you?! If anyone is being disrespected it’s me! All because your scary ass don’t wanna claim me in public!” you spoke with loads of attitude lace in your voice. Sending you a glare “I’ll buy you a new one” he responded, swiftly grabbing a hold of your neck tighten his grip as he pulls you closer towards him. So close that you could feel the warmth of his breath against your neck, prompting goosebumps to rise along your skin. Leaning closer “I’m gonna fuck that attitude of you” he whispered before dropping his hand and stepping back “strip” he commanded.
Watching intently as you removed your clothing, soon revealing your entire bare body in his sight, Midorima smirked affectionately, admiring every detail of your curvaceous frame. Without words, he placed his hands on your waist, soon picking you up and placing up on the edge of the counter. Releasing you once you were securely set, Midorima lowered himself in front of you bringing both of your thighs over his shoulders and softly beginning to plant soft kisses that led up to your inner thighs, stopping once he reached your center. Taking a moment to bask in the beauty of your puckered lower duo, the male soon release his tongue from the confinement of his mouth just to part your lower lips, fist beginning to shower your peeking clitoris with affection by softly flicking his tongue over it, then swirling it around the swollen nub and finally capturing it between his lips as they suctioned it into his mouth.
Your soft verbal release of pleasure only frustrated the male as he continued to softly tend to her now throbbing clitoris. He wanted to hear more than that, and you knew it. Immediately switching gears, he gently captured your clit between his teeth, lightly tugging on it as he began to pull away, finally releasing it after a few seconds. His focus was then turned towards her awaiting core, which he immediately dove into with his tongue. Easing the slender muscle within your wetness, the male gradually began to work up a steady pace of penetration in and out of your sex, making an effort to force his tongue further than before with each entrance into your core.
As the minutes began to pass, his pace began to speed up, soon darting his tongue in and out of your tight hole, soon bringing his hand up towards your center and adding his middle finger to the mix. Without warning, he slid his finger into your soaked cunt, the excess amount of juices allowing for easy access as he added his finger alongside his tongue inside of your core, now simultaneously pumping them at the same pace into your cunt. However, he strategically began to curl his finger, forcing the tip to discover and massage areas of your cove that his tongue was unable to reach, hoping to intensify the amount of pleasure he could inflict upon you.
As you began to move your hips in sync with the furious movements of his tongue and finger, clearly displaying the pleasure you was feeling, Midorima then took it upon himself to swiftly remove his tongue and fingers from your now gaping hole, wanting to immediately fulfilling your request but wanting to first have some fun of his own. Standing to his feet, Midorima used his free hand to grab you by your hair, forcefully pulling you towards him and smashing his lips into yours, kissing you passionately, purposely easing his tongue into your mouth so you could get a taste of the meal you’d given him.
After a few moments, he broke the intense lip lock, pulling your head back. Gliding his index and middle finger up and down your sloppy slit, he gathered even more of your sticky nectar on his fingers before shoving them into your mouth to let you taste yourself once again. “Lick every bit of that off” he demanded, giving you the opportunity to remind of him of your fellatio skills but not before he drove his fingers a bit deeper into your mouth and hitting your gag reflex, causing you to gag, which sounded like music to his ears. “Fuck..as soon as you do as you’re told, I’ll fuck you like you want me to, do you understand?”
Watching you intently, Midorima dug his teeth into his lower lip, watching in amazement as you performed an imitation of fellatio on his fingers, causing the semi hardened member within his sweats to transition into a full hard on. Your unwavering eye contact with him as you continued only proved to intensify his sexual craving for you. Swiftly, he removed his fingers from your mouth and pushed your thighs open even more. Grabbing your wrist, pulling your hand away from your center “don’t touch unless I tell you to Y/N. You know better” he spoke sternly but calmly before pushing your han to the side and grabbing your thighs, pulling you to the edge of the counter just before releasing his protruding member from the confinement of his sweats. “if you want something to play with, here it is, princess.”
Leaning forward to surround him with your thick thighs, Midorima immediately grabbed a hold of them, looking down at you with a devilish grin. The male gave the illusion that he was taking her request into consideration. Swiftly pulling your lower half towards him, easily gliding his hardened length into the tightness of your dripping sex, replacing one of his hands that formerly gripped your thigh to firmly surround your slender neck, gazing intently into your eyes. Not only was the risk of engaging in such sexual acts on your kitchen counter turning Midorima on, but the fact that he’d penetrated your wetness with a lack of a condom.
Normally, he might have thought twice about going raw. However, his sexual craving for you was too unbearable for him not to take the risk. Slowly working up his own rhythm and a steady pace, Midorima glided his throbbing member in and out of your soaked cunt, occasionally breaking eye contact with you to admire the excess amount of your juices that had already coated his shaft just in the matter of a few minutes. “Fuck, I missed this pussy.” He muttered in between strokes, taking his bottom lip between his teeth soon after his comment.
The mixed sound of your soft moans and the screech of your nails as they dragged along the marble countertops only maximized the sexual appetite that built for you just within the span of the few hours they’d been reunited. With each forward thrust of his hips, Midorima attempted to submerge his throbbing rod even further into the depths of your sea, hoping to immediately come into contact with the most vulnerable spot that resided inside of you, knowing that it would push you to your limit if he hit it. However, your orgasm was not something he'd expected for a bit longer, and definitely not without his permission.
As he continued to penetrate your wetness, he noticed your own self indulgence as you fondled your clitoris, bringing his attention instead to your movements. "What did I tell you-" He barely finished his sentence before he grabbed your hand, removing his other hand from its hold around your neck so he could grab your other one as well, pushing you backwards so that your back rested against the cold marble, pinning you down onto the surface by your hands, intertwining his fingers with yours. His eyes now had no other choice but to meet with yours as he hovered over you, pumping his thickened cock in and out of your pussy, admiring the echoing smacking sound that their skin made with each impact. "It missed me, huh? Fuckin' better have. Swear I love this tight little pussy of yours, princess." He muttered as he stared into your eyes, allowing the roughness and speed of his strokes to grow with time, extending deeper within your core as he did so.
The sudden affection that you showed his jawline caught Midorima off guard as he continued his meticulous venture into the depths of your tightness, drawing a low grunt from his mouth before he allowed the grunt to transition into a full on groan of pleasure once he felt your walls tighten around his throbbing member, signaling to him that your orgasm was nearing faster than he had anticipated. The knowledge of the fact only motivated him to further expedite speed, intensity and depth of his strokes as you trembled beneath him, your lust enveloped words causing a wide smirk to form on his face. He loved to hear your verbal responses during their passionate escapades, which only served to build his sexual craving for you tenfold.
Noticing your body physically responding to his actions as well, he released his hold on your hands, allowing them access to roam as they pleased. However, never breaking eye contact with you, he replaced his hands around your neck, barely gripping it but giving off the gentle choking sensation as he repeatedly drove his rod into your wetness, which caused your excess juices to ricochet along his lower half. "Ah, fuck.." He muttered almost unconsciously as he allowed himself to indulge in the pleasure that he too was receiving from their interlocking of limbs. Knowing that you would be reaching your peak soon, Midorima mentally prepared himself for the climax that would soon hit him as well. He contemplated whether or not he should pull out once it had hit or not, hoping to receive some sort of confirmation from you on what he should do.
Your moans of pleasure aided by your verbal response soon gave Midorima all of the confirmation that he'd needed to release his load into the raw insides of your wetness. However, he knew that your orgasm was his main priority to attend to. As your walls tightened around his rod, he was soon alerted that your climax was to hit just as soon as his own, taking it as motivation to increase the speed, depth and intensity of his thrusts even more, this time beyond any measure he'd ever done, mercilessly plowing into your throbbing walls. Tightening his hold just slightly around your neck, he leaned down, staring intently into your eyes before speaking out the words that would release them both from the large build up of sexual desire that had grown in each of their groins. "Cum for daddy." He demanded, accenting each word he spoke with a forward jerk of his hips, forcing the bulbous head of his member to repeatedly penetrate your most sensitive spot, knowing it would push you over the edge.
Once you finally released all that had gradually built up inside of you, the combination of your pleasured exclamations, immense tightening of your walls, trembling limbs and overflow of juices finally sent Midorima over the edge as well. As you rode out your intense orgasm, his finally had hit, causing him to release your neck and place each of his hands on their side of your head, pressing his palms against the marble countertops, his eyes habitually shutting as he jaw tightened, a tingling sensation building within his sac then suddenly being released deep within your raw core. Midorima was careless at this point. He wanted you to feel all that he had to offer deep within you, and that meant the endless streams of semen that oozed into your wetness with each forward thrust of his hips. A guttural grunt echoed from deep within his throat as he too rode out his climax, your squirting juices only proving to further intensify his climax. Placing his forehead against yours as you both try to steady your breathing. Looking up into your eyes “do you still hate me?” he asked, giving you his signature smirk.

Hello, nonnie! I’m sorry this took long to write. I adore Midorima, so I’d like to thank you for requesting this.

Lucky
Scenario: On a very important match for the semi-finals, Midorima’s lucky item was none other than you.
Pairing: Midorima Shintaro x 3rd year!reader
For the life of him, Midorima Shintaro lamented over Oha Asa’s lucky item for today.
He’s been asked to bring with him the most peculiar of things—an old telescope, an alligator’s tooth, an idol’s picture book, his father’s first toy as a child, you name it. Midorima had religiously kept up with these almost unreasonable demands without fail.
All in the name of being in his best state every day.
Today, however, on the day of his Interhigh semi-finals against Kaijo Highschool, Oha Asa had finally commanded him to do the near impossible.
“I can’t believe it,” Takao’s voice resounded from behind him.
“Shut up, Takao,” he muttered in a warning voice.
“I didn’t think you’d have it in you to do it!” Takao finally broke into his glee, bumping against the green-haired ace to throw his arm around Midorima’s shoulders. “You asked her out! That cute senpai you’ve been crushing hard on!”
“I have never said that I like her,” Midorima hissed, shoving Takao off him and dropping by the bench to change into his basketball shoes.
“No,” Takao sang, “but I watched Oha Asa this morning to check if you needed help with your lucky item.”
Midorima cursed.
“This is an important day after all,” he finished.
There were rare times when Oha Asa’s lucky item would be a person. It was rare, but he always despised those days. It was simply too troublesome.
“Come on,” Takao called, already dressed in his jersey. Midorima wanted to wipe that smug and teasing grin on his face but decided that that would be a waste of time. He promptly uncoiled the tape around his fingers, before heading out of the locker room.
Takao crossed his hands behind his head. “Senpai-chan is probably waiting for you in the stands already.”
“If you don’t shut your mouth this instance, I swear I am going to lobotomize you, Takao,” Midorima said, feeling the redness crawl up his neck.
Takao laughed. “Chill out, man. I knew you liked her since day 1. You don’t have to be so bashful about it.”
“Who says I am?”
“Shin-chan, you look like a literal stop light.” Takao paused in his steps to gesture at Midorima’s hair, face and clothes. “Green, red and orange.”
Midorima’s eyes widened in lividity. “You—”
“How’d you even do it?”
Midorima sneered at him and kept walking. “I simply invited her, as a matter of fact.”
“That’s it??”
“I needed to return her lip balm after all.”
While Takao silently pondered on this, Midorima recalled being in a slightly similar situation before. A game against one of his previous Teiko team mates (Yosen in particular), a much needed lucky item, and the presence of a certain third year upperclassman.
Much to his horror, Midorima thought he had carefully packed his mother’s lip balm before heading out. But alas, he misplaced it. Although his suspicions of his younger sister surreptitiously stealing it from him wasn't far off the radar.
He had been tying his shoelaces, albeit with shaking hands that day when someone had tapped his shoulder.
“What?” he had said, caustic tone lacing the word.
The light, uncertain shuffle had made him look up, his eyes meeting a pair of curious ones as you had looked down at him. His jaws had slackened a little. You had looked so radiant even just with that innocent, tiny smile of yours. He had recovered immediately, choosing instead to clear his throat and push his glasses to his face.
“W-what is it?” he had asked.
“I heard from your captain Miyaji-san that you needed something,” you had replied.
Midorima had sworn that he had never heard a voice as lovely as yours.
Before he could ask you to clarify, you had presented him a peach-colored tube. Midorima had stared down at the lip balm in your hand, eyebrows scrunched. It had been taking his all to keep the heat from his face.
Sensing his hesitation, you had taken his wrist and placed the lip balm into his hand. You had grinned at him.
“Good luck on your game today. I’m sure you’ll win for Shutoku today,” you had enthused before giving him a small wave and pivoting around your heel.
Snapping out of reverie, Midorima had hopped onto his feet and called out, “Wait. What’s your na—how—when will I return this?”
You had turned back around and hummed. “You can look for me in class 3-E. And don't worry, you can return it any time.”
Midorima swore he tried to return the cosmetic back a day after the game. But somehow, by some twisted plot of the universe, he couldn’t catch you in the said classroom. Which then led to this day—the perfect excuse of asking her out by pretending that it was for your lip balm.
Midorima wanted to smash his face on the wall.
And he would have if not for his glasses.
The overly familiar voice zapped at him. His body turned to your direction before he could control it. Not a millisecond earlier, you occupied his mind wholly.
Beside him, Takao made a low whistle.
“Great heavens,” you panted, “I was looking all over the place for you. I thought you’d be with Miyaji-san.”
Midorima stared at your reddened cheeks, the strands of har glued to your clammy skin, the cherubic smile painting your lips. He didn’t notice Takao walking ahead of him as he turned his full profile to you.
“Se—senpai,” he cleared his throat, nervously pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose, “I apologize for failing to return this to you in time.”
With robotic movements, he fished out the treasured tube out of his pocket.
You stared at the lip balm in his hand before smiling. “You sure you don’t need it anymore?”
He shook his head, all the while holding that curious gaze of yours with his own. A breath of fresh air. That’s what you remind of him. The atmosphere surrounding him and his team was charged with electricity, what with the upcoming decisive match against Kise and the rest of the Blue Elites.
However, Midorima thought that seeing you somehow calmed the turbulent humming of his chest.
You nodded and took the lip balm from his hand, your fingers leaving feathery touches of warmth in his hand.
Midorima ventured on a small smile.
“I have all that I need right here, as a matter of fact,” he answered, meaning every word.
You chuckled and pumped a fist in the air, completely oblivious to the true meaning of his words. “That’s the spirit. You trained hard for this. Now, go win for us, Ace! I’ll see you there!”
Waving good bye, you started to make your way to the seats to join your friends. Midorima let his gaze linger on your back for a few more moments before swearing on this game today.
After his assured victory, he was going to ask you out.
For real.
I read from wiki once that Shin-chan preferred mature women, right? ^^ Hope you enjoyed this!
