Show please give us the crows going to the university to meet Mr Fahey and they’re all disguised as students in old knitwear, corduroy, brogues and glasses with little satchels and backpacks and holding old books and quills. And right before they leave this moment passes where it’s clear they’re all wondering if there was ever any chance they could have met this way instead, innocent and as academics rather than mistreated and as criminals.

Note
What if the roles are reversed. Yandere jester and Emperor Y/N.
You became ruler of an entire kingdom before you reached the age of thirteen. Tragedy struck a month before your upcoming birthday; leaving no one else to rule but the young heir. Lacking the experience, your crowning came with the introduction of a royal advisor. Both celebrations were on the same day, and you had not smile once since the accident nor had you often before.
Your lack of care was noticable by all, your advisor came up with a plan to brighten your mood. His sibling ran a traveling act, and while they were unable to make plans to visit the kindgom anytime soon, their child was working towards taking over the family business someday, and cheering up the new ruler was the perfect start.
Working on your studies in the garden, the sound of laughter and the ringing of bells alerts you to your guest. A smile face replaces the book in your lap; slinking away as you express your shock. The young jester bows as they stand back up, pulling a horn from behind their back and blowing it with all their might.
"Good Afternoon, your highness! It is an honor to meet you. I come from far away lands just to bring a smile to your face. I hope we can become great friends."
You stare at the other child's colorful clothing, before collecting your books and walking away with another word. They pursue.
"W-wait! Where are you going?"
"To continue my studies elsewhere. It iss too noisy out here."
"Please don't leave so soon! I-I'll help you with your studies!"
You stop in your tracks. "Alright."
With the jester's help, you finish your studies quicker than usual that day. As thanks, you push aside the rest of your duties to see their act. The only problem with that was it wasn't very good. Their jokes fell flat even before the punchline, and they were unable to juggle amongst other physical activities. As their pins crash on their head for the fourth time, the jester finds themselves close to tears for which you offer a handkerchief.
"You shouldn't cry over something like that. Wipe your face and try again. I'll show you."
You pick up the pins, setting two on the wall as you toss the first back and forth in your hand. Gaining a good grip on the first, you add another until you're tossed all three in the air with no problem. You catch them and and place them back down as the jester claps.
"That was amazing! How did you do that?"
"We had a jester before you who taught me.. He was in the carriage when it fell off the bridge."
The jester loses their smile. As it falls, they wonder if this ache in their chest is what you've been feeling the entire time. It felt terrible. They didn't want you to suffer like this anymore. They grab one of the pins, shouting:
"I'll do my best!"
One step at a time, the jester becomes better at their act with your help. They try it out on others in the castle with tremendous reception. You take them on as the royal jester, having them play at gatherings and festivals much to everyone's delight. Despite their success, they failed to bring joy to the one that mattered most. They were the smile for the crowd that you had still yet to muster.
After another failed attempt at making you laugh, the then teen ventured to the garden alone that evening. Chin held high, they still couldn't fight the sadness held within for failing their now closest friend. It was nerve wracking, and there was only one other cure for their woes.
The jester pulls a small music box from their pocket, a gift from their father before they came to you all those years ago. They turn the handle until it clicks, humming along to the soft tune that emits from the box. It soothes their soul just like it did when they were young; bringing only pleasant memories to mind. Strangely enough, the most recent ones only have you in their image.
"What are you doing?"
"Wah!"
The jester clutches the box, and their chest as you approach from the darkness. You pay no mind to their fright, staring at the box as its melody ends.
You point. "What's that?"
"This?" The jester cracks its handle one more. You frown as it plays.
"There was something else with it."
Their face grows flush. "Do you mean my singing?"
"I suppose so."You sit beside them. "Please do it again.'
The jester eventually begins to sing. You close your eyes, listening to the combined melody of them and the music box. As your lips twitch slightly, an idea pops into their mind. They gradually rise in tone, reaching the point where their voice reaches every corner of the garden. They throw a hand over their chest, dramatically orchestrating themselves along to the tune. Their performance comes to a halt when they hear a small snicker.
"You're the worse. I was enjoying that." A half smile lingers over your lips as you pull your hand away from your mouth. The jester stares at it, and the faint twinkle in your eye. They've never seen anything more beautiful. Finally, they've reach the goal they set so long ago - and the result was far greater than they could've dreamed. Neither a starlight night nor a cloudless sky could compare. There had been the sparks of emotion before then, but on that day- they fell in love.
Your smile remained after that night, and the week after. With your faithful jester by your side, it never left and neither did they from your side. With the gloom overcasted over the castle gone, you gained the attentions of your people and others throughout the land. Those of the upperclass attempted to win your hand. The townspeople spoken of your beauty at its full shine. The little jester felt something else in their heart from then on - rage.
"Leave me alone!"
A ball rolls across the hall grounds as a shout rings through its entryway. The night had just come to an end with a big festival held throughout the day. The jester was working on improving their act even further when they heard a shout. Your shout.
Hurrying to the scene, they watch as a general's son is tossed to the floor; a red streak across his face. Looking at you, the jester could see a red ring around your wrist and tears in your eyes; anger as clear as day. No, that wasn't right. You should always be happy. You should always smile.
"Get out of my castle. Get the hell out of my kingdom. I'm not looking to marry anyone now, or ever for that matter!"
Marriage. Of course others wanted your hand. You were everything one could ever want, but did they truly care about you? You were happy, happy with your caring jester and everyone else in the castle. Their heart stunned at the last of your words, but if they could remain by your side that's all that mattered.
You hurry off; your frown the last thing they saw. Why - why was the world so cruel? They worked so hard to make your smile last, and it was shattered. By him.
"What the fuck are you looking at?" The man shouts.
The jester doesn't even flinch at the venom in his voice. The one brewing in their chest was too loud for them to sense anything, but the anger they felt for this pathetic creature at their feet. Lower than them. Lower than you. Only you matter in this world. You and your happiness, and they'd do anything to achieve that- as well as tear apart whatever force tries to take it away.

Propaganda under the cut
Lady Rhea
MAJOR SPOILERS FOR THE ENTIRE GAME AHEAD This lady gaslighted, gatekept, and girlbossed for a little more than 1000 years. Her story starts in ancient Fódlan where she was a member of a magical dragon race called the Nabateans, children of Sothis. After Sothis was killed and her corpse desecrated by a bandit named Nemesis (who believed himself to be fighting for the freedom of humanity), he made a sword out of her body to arm his allies and massacred the Nabateans. Rhea gathered the last few Nabateans left and some human allies and, under the name 'Seiros', waged war on Nemesis and his army. Victorious, Saint Seiros rewrote history to cover up the existence of the Nabateans and created a religion around her mother, now calling Sothis the Progenitor God. As the years go on, Lady Rhea used her holy influence to give rise to the Adrestrian Empire. It's implied that her church, the Church of Seiros, played a part in wars that resulted in the creation of the Holy Kingdom of Faergus, a nation that broke off of Adrestria, and the Leicester Alliance, another nation which broke off of the Kindgom. FE16 makes a point to note that she continues to censor history up to the present, including limiting technological advancements for 'blasphemy'. Her advisor, Seteth, once served her as Saint Cichol and even he has shown shock and horror at how far she has gaslit, gatekept, and girlbossed. The protagonist of this game is the child of Sitri, the 12th human vessel in a project that Lady Rhea personally conducted to try and revive her mother. Rhea never admits this to the protag's face until she is either in a weakened state or an enemy of the protagonist. She even tries to restart the experiment on the protag without their knowledge. The game splits into four routes and in one of them the protagonist turns on Rhea. In this route Lady Rhea girlbosses so hard that she turns into a dragon and reclaims her Saint Seiros persona as she tries to kill the protag and reclaim her mother who, at this point, exists as a weapon the protagonist wields and as an organ Lady Rhea implanted into them as a baby. In two of the routes where the protagonist sides with Lady Rhea she'll accompany them to combat the forces that orriginally allowed Nemesis to attack her peeople (who have turned into a highly advanced underground race at this point). This girlboss moment is so cool to me because Lady Rhea had been a prisoner for 5 years but still manages to turn into a dragon and take a literal ICBM to the face to protect the protag. TL;DR: Lady Rhea has gaslit society and made a fake history. She gatekept by personally executing members of her own church she made because she disagreed with their ways. She girlbosses by being the Archbishop of her religion for 1159 years and turning into a dragon to KILL "
She created a thousand year old church to control an entire continent. She rewrote history to be able to control the continent and keep the power she gained, under a belief that she was all that could protect humans from themselves.
The ULTIMATE example of gaslight gatekeep girlboss!! (((Major FE3H spoilers))): Gaslight: constructs an entire centuries-old religion centered around her dead mom with herself as the leader, hides the identity of herself (secretly the founding saint and namesake of said religion) and her compatriots (secretly other major saints), rewrites continent’s history as well as the origin of the nobility’s hereditary crests and holy relics, hires homeschooled mercenary seemingly for nepotism/skill reasons but doesn’t tell them that she actually implanted her mother’s heart into them as an infant in hopes to revive her dead mom. Gatekeep: intentionally withholds continent’s secret history, church covers up and censors some of humanity’s technological/medical advancements in order to obscure aforementioned history as well as to prevent the development of more efficient weapons of war/destruction, instructs faculty and students not to leak dangerous side effects of powerful holy relics to the wider public, executes rebels/assassins/conspirators that seek to remove her, literally hires a Gatekeeper known only as Gatekeeper. Girlboss: Canonically bisexual pope with hips for days and de facto leader of an entire continent. Powerful warrior. Proficient in instructing hand-to-hand combat. The first cutscene of the game shows her sword-fighting in heels with a muscular man and, after being disarmed, beating the shit out of him in hand-to-hand combat and stabbing him to death with a dagger. Girlboss.
Morag Ladair
She is an inquisitor for a despotic colonizing empire, who is ruthlessly efficient, a master manipulator, and also a genuinely charming characters. She creates a rumor of the execution of a party member to successfully lure out the rest of them, and they only escape because she chooses to let them go

We are not judging how bad the movie is, we are judging which adapted the book the worst. There are good movies that are bad adaptions.
Propaganda below the cut (spoilers may apply)
Animorphs:
Didn't have the budget to do literally anything the books were doing, and it shows. Also the central theme of the books wasn't even touched on.
A low-budget kids' show was absolutely the worst and most embarrassing way to adapt a semi-serialized, somewhat serious (but, y'know, in a YA way) drama about war and how it changes those who participate in it. It never goes into the ethical questions or moral issues that the original book series brings up, and the violence is toned down a lot. They just didn't have the money for the special effects you'd need for a story with so many different alien races (Taxxons, one of the main types of alien employed by the enemy yeerks, are never even mentioned!), nor for the animal training/handling for so many different species that the characters are constantly morphing into. I get that they were doing the best they could for the time and medium, but it ended up being a giant embarrassment. :(
Only one season, poorly written
Tales from Earthsea:
I don't think it could have been better, but it was just so off from from the books it was mainly drawing its inspiration from (I mean, I had no interest in seeing that weird weaver guy decide to off himself in the boat, but still).
Studio Ghibli is the perfect studio to capture the Le Guin vibe and yet Goro torched it so hard for no reason
To give credit where it is due, the film has some good settings and animation. Unfortunately, its beauty is only on the surface, and it is the worst Studio Ghibli movie I’ve seen. (I’ve seen almost all of them but Earwig and the Witch.) The plot is a collage of random bits of context from the first four books of the series, as well as its own stuff. It really is not the same story at all. I may have enjoyed it more if I had seen it as a child before reading the books, but not covering all the events exactly isn’t the only issue, it’s just worse. It takes the moral complexity and sensibility of the original and turns it into a typical fantasy war between good and evil (the Japanese title even translates to Ged’s War Chronicles) with emphasis on physical violence, in which evil is personified as a goth queer-coded villain whose death resolves everything. It completely misses the point of the books, which gives no such simple answers and is more focused on the darkness within everyone than an external battle. Where is the nuance? It also whitewashes everyone: most of the characters in the book are dark-skinned, but in the movie…
I was also bitter that they did my favourite character, Tehanu/Therru, dirty. She’s supposed to be horribly scarred and disfigured on half her body and reviled by people as a monster but in the movie she’s just a pretty girl with a red mark on her face. In the books, she doesn’t appear until the fourth book, Tehanu, which takes place after Lebannen is grown up and ruling a kindgom, and in which she is a mostly-nonverbal child. But here she’s aged up and thrown into the earlier story to give the protagonist a love interest and the film has him stay with them so it can focus on their romance. Even though a plot-relevant part of his character as well is his lack of interest in women and not settling into a relationship despite the people’s wishes.
Basically, they whitewashed, heteronormatized, macho-ified, and de-nuanced the narrative, and also took out the feminism.
On top of this, trying to cram the whole series into one movie is just not a good idea, and it would have been better to just decide on one book to adapt and do more justice. And yet they still added in so much that didn’t happen. When you have that much material to cover, you don’t have time or budget to be putting other things in, mate. Turning four books into one results both in a mess. Abridgment is one thing; taking particular aspects of different parts of the timeline and combining them in different ways is another. It doesn’t make a lot of sense. It’s in an unfortunate middle area where it doesn’t follow the source material but also doesn’t give enough context that people unfamiliar with the source understand. For Earthsea fans, it’s infuriating; for others, it’s confusing. Also, why did they name it after the fifth book, which is a short story collection that it doesn’t reference whatsoever?
The failure of the movie is upsetting because the books are sooo good. Yet, it was the highest-grossing Japanese movie of the year, and did win a couple awards… The Bunshun Kiichigo awards for “Worst Director” and “Worst Movie”.

@Destino, Felix & Hope: You three better be ready for this, especially you Prime. Once you leave, there is most likely NO COMING BACK. On that note, Perhaps this can be an exception to the light luggage rule (Drops a small bag of 9 Max Revives on the floor) Use them well, Heroes, and may Arceus have mercy on your souls
Destino looked towards you, smirk on their face. They chuckled at the idea of not coming back. How ridiculous.
“Hey buddy, I get you’re trying to make this whole journey sound epic. But the whole “no coming back” thing just ain’t true. Of course Felix and I are gonna come back here when the whole ‘saving the world’ situation is done. You think the surface world is gonna accept us when it’s forced us to be down here our entire lives? Ha, get real,” this sparked a thought in Destino’s head. They needed to ask this. “Speaking of. Hope, where are you from again?”
Mind still preoccupied with thinking about her missing item, she almost didn’t process Destino had said anything to her. Snapping back to the conversation at hand, she replied, “Oh, Terrestria. Why?”
“Ah right, Terrestria. Now, if I remember, you said our kingdoms had some sort of trade alliance, right?”
“Yes.” Terrestria had been allied with the Underdark for roughly 400 years. Each member of the Terrestrian royal family were taught this from a young age and understood how vital it was for their economy to keep this trade relationship going. The ores the Underdark provided were incredibly valuable and it had made the kindgom of Terrestria quite rich with resources to sell and trade to other kingdoms. They had been incredibly lucky that this collaboration between Terrestria and the Underdark had not be discovered by other kingdoms, especially Whimsain.
“And my parents have been to the surface, correct?”
“Multiple times.” Hope remembered the first time she saw Destino’s parents. As a young torchic, she was incredibly intimidated by them. Everyone knew the rumours surrounding dark types and how they’d kill you on the spot. She honestly thought they were there to invade. But, as soon as her father had shown her that they meant no harm, she found them interesting to talk to. She didn’t talk much with them, considering they mainly focused on trade deals with her father. But, when she was able to ask the, a question about themselves or their home, she was always fascinated to hear what they had to say. She definitely enjoyed hearing the funny stories they told about Destino.
“Right. Fuck them both for going without telling me but that’s not what I want to delve into. Did they ever use a disguise up there? Because I’m pretty sure they can’t use illusions or transformations. Then again, they lied about the whole surface thing so who knows at this point.”
“Wow, you’ve actually thought of something smart to ask. Did your single brain cell have to work hard for that one?” A single “oh damn,” from Felix caught Destino’s attention and they turned towards him, giving him a glare. They looked at Hope before speaking.
“Oh yes, real funny. Insult the Pokémon who’s supposed to save the world. I could always stay down here and let the world end.” It’s not like Destino wanted to be chosen to save the world. In fact, they hated every time they were reminded of this grand duty they had to fulfil. Maybe they’ll have to speak with this Pokémon who kept talking to them in their dreams about handing the responsibility to someone else.
“I mean, you are an easy target. Anyway, no, they don’t use a disguise. We’ve got a secret tunnel that is used by them to head straight to Terrestria without discovery. It was built a long time ago so then knowledge about your kingdom and our kingdom’s alliance wouldn’t leak out. You have your disguise so I wouldn’t worry too much about being caught.”
Secret tunnels, eh? Perhaps that’s how the alliance first started, with an accidental tunnel to the Underdark. Destino was curious to find out more about their alliance but they supposed that would have to be a conversation for later on. Destino chucked the bag of max revives to Felix. The Prime had no idea what the clumps were but figured they could be traded for something good on the surface. Felix gave Destino a look, but knew he would have to carry anything the Prime wanted to bring on this journey. Destino looked through a couple of their bags and picked out some black glasses. They tucked them into their soft fur and looked towards their parent’s room, where Hershel was standing outside of it and Roy was busy doing something inside.
“Well. It’s time. Let’s head up to the surface,” Destino said. The tiniest hint of worry entered their voice as they said this.

english translation of zhou shen’s 四大名著 medley! I put a basic summary of each novel in the upper right hand corner when their corresponding song starts, if anyone’s unfamiliar with them
detailed notes under the cut, just for fun
disclaimer: I’m not fluent in mandarin and my classical education is... extremely lacking. I tried my best on the songs with classical chinese and asked someone who actually read these books for context, but feel free to point out any mistakes!
Dream of the Red Chamber
枉凝眉 is one of the original twelve songs that correspond to the twelve beauties. This one is about Lin Daiyu and her relationship with Jia Baoyu, the protagonist. 枉凝眉 literally means something like “brow furrowed in vain,” but according to my friend who read the book, Lin Daiyu furrows her brow when she writes poetry and she and Jia Baoyu write poetry together, so it’s a metaphor for their relationship
Lin Daiyu and Jia Baoyu have a special bond, but their relationship isn’t considered fated because another character, Xue Baochai, has a gold pendant with an inscription that matches the inscription on a piece of jade Jia Baoyu had in his mouth when he was born
Jia Baoyu and Xue Baochai eventually get married at the end and Lin Daiyu dies
(Fun fact, the “Bao” in “Jia Baoyu” and “Xue Baochai” is the same character, while the “Yu” is the same in “Jiao Baoyu” and “Lin Daiyu.”)
Lin Daiyu was a divine herb in her past life. What I translated as “divine,” 阆苑, refers to the home of the immortals in the novel
In his past life, Jia Baoyu watered Lin Daiyu, so in this life she’s destined to shed tears for him
Romance of the Three Kindgoms
I don’t have much to add for this one. All you really need to know is that the three kingdoms era lasted 60–90ish years and territory between the three states was kind of always shifting
Journey to the West
aka the only one I’ve actually read! I have fond childhood memories of watching the 1986 live action reruns with my cousins
“White Dragon Horse” is what they call Tang Sanzang/Tripitaka’s horse. He’s actually a dragon who’s shapeshifted as a horse because he ate the original (normal) horse
Tripitaka’s name in chinese is Tang Sanzang, but I think he’s more commonly known as Tripitaka in english because it’s basically the sanskrit equivalent, and I guess most buddhist terms tend to be translated/transcribed in sanskrit
The “81 tribulations” are the 81 obstacles Tripitaka had to go through before he could get the scriptures
The 72 earthly transformations are an ability of Sun Wukong, one of Tripitaka’s disciples. He basically gets 72 magic powers. IIRC a few other characters can also do this, but he’s the one famous for it
The song says they work together to defeat their enemies, but 90% of the time it’s just Sun Wukong. The other 10% is when Guanyin or the Buddha have to step in
Water Margin
The 108 outlaws later get un-outlawed and the emperor gets them to fight invaders, which eventually leads to them disbanding. I originally included this in the book summary, but I felt like it didn’t really fit the vibe of the song
生死之交 means something like “handing over your life and death” eg. trusting someone with your life. “shield brothers” is a little too viking-y for my taste, but I didn’t want to make the line too long
According to my friend, “we all have some” because the characters steal from rich people and redistribute their wealth
and that’s about it! if you’ve gotten this far, thanks for reading my assorted thoughts/translation notes/book context... it really wasn’t meant to be this long or disjointed haha

Tears of the kindgom spoilers below. Read at your own risk.
After seeing Zelda turn into a fucking light dragon, I'm pretty solidly convinced that the triple goddesses never left the world. They just...changed.
Three dragons, three goddesses.
Theee names, eerily similar to the goddesses.
10 thousand years, and the loss of their sense of self.... how could they ever remember what they once were?
Im also beginning to get mildly skeptical that the four goddesses were goddesses at all. If the Zonai descended from the heavens, and the goddesses descended from the heavens, it would stand to reason that, at the very least, Farore, Din, and Nayru were Zonai.
And because of that, maybe Hylia was just an elf with the power of sealing, or the power of light, or time. Maybe she was just a person, given a stone and a sacred power to protect.
I am also very convinced that the Zonai who did not want to share the surface world with the Hylians are what later become the Twili. Afterall, there are always a few dissenters when kingdoms, especially of multiple species, merge together.

Book Blurb: From New York Times and Indie bestselling author Joan He, comes Sound the Gong, the dazzling and sweeping conclusion to The Kingdom of Three duology.
All her life, Zephyr has tried to rise above her humble origins as a no-name orphan. Now she is a god in a warrior’s body, and never has she felt more powerless.
The warlordess Xin Ren holds the Westlands, but her position is tenuous. In the north, the empress remains a puppet under Miasma’s thumb. In the south, the alliance with Cicada is in pieces.
Fate has a winner in mind for the three kingdoms, but Zephyr has no intentions of respecting it. She will pay any price to see Ren succeed—and she will make her enemies pay, especially the enigmatic Crow. What she’ll do when she finds out the truth. . . Only the heavens know.
Featuring gorgeous map art by Anna Frohmann and black-and-white portraits by Tida Kietsungden, Sound the Gong is the second book in Joan He's riveting Kindgom of Three duology.
Review:
How much would you sacrifice to win? How far would you go to achieve success? Strategist/God Zephyr has now found herself jumping between bodies, trying to manipulate the war and her lordess for the outcome that she wants... but it all comes at a price and if she achieves it, it means her own demise. Can Zephyr win? Zephry will do anything to change fate, she will pay any price for Ren, her lordess, to win... even if it means sacrificing the one person she might have feelings for, even if it means dying and losing her body and soul.... but the war and humans are ever changing, and as a god with limited powers, she'll have to find a way to navigate every single decision to her benefit before it's too late. This was definitely an interesting ending to the duology, I loved the first book and enjoyed the back to back from the two strategist, but what this book was kind of missing was that magic, that kind of compelling back to back. However, this book was very heavy on the ever changing war environment and the decisions and political moves, which isn't a bad thing, it just felt like it was a shift from the fun of the first book. I did enjoy how determined Zephyr was to get what she wanted, she was determined to adjust to every decision and to manipulate every turn to her advantage. She was relentless in her quest to achieve her goals, and she still cared and loved those around her, sacrificing herself over and over for their happiness. The ending, especially with the way the Crow x Zephry relationship was going, had me begging for an extra epilogue, just to see them face each other, and to finally FINALLY admit their feelings for each other after they had both sacrificed each other for their own kingdoms. I think this series overall, is a really fun and unique read that is such a unique take on the Three Kingdoms story! Definitely check it out if you love strategy/war stories!
*Thanks Netgalley and Macmillan Children's Publishing Group | Roaring Brook Press for sending me an arc in exchange for an honest review*

(2/10) Blind Hugo - Part 2
Let's continue with a little fanart made with hurry,
Extra note, my progress got erased three times and I had to re-write u__u
Tumblr media
1.- What had been Hugo doing while Varian, Nuru and Yong were outside ? Being taking cared by Rudigger, Olivia and Prometeus , he is supposed to take rest and sleep a lot, only getting up for water , food and maybe sit around, easy for the pets, Rudigger was provided with a wall clock, so he can carry the medicines in time.
2.- And well, surely, Ruddy was there to change the wet cloth over his eyes, feeling sad when Hugo groaned in pain , the others do those kind of things at night, before going to bed.
3.- But well, no, today Hugo got bored and tough it would be a nice idea to go to their kitchen and make a sandwich, he is not an invalid.
Rudigger got angry at the mess he has to clean, ingredients in the floor, the meal was already done and saved on a basket, Ruddy would have to just go and serve it, even if Ruddy hissed and signaled the things, he had to get his attention by pulling Hugo's arm or hand, Hugo barely distingued a blurry black paw moving, but, due to not understanding animal lenguage, Hugo thought Ruddy was being a prick and was obstaclulising his lunch time, or just wanting him to go back to bed, he wouldn't, so they started a cat figth.
4- Hugo asked Olivia to figth back Rudigger and she did , Ruddy gave up , definitely not fighting a robot that obeys one persons voice, they don't speak the same language, and after Hugo finished his sandwich, we wanted to go out and take a walk outside, his plan has to just recognize the place, not going too far, or maybe yes but in a straight line and then in reverse
5.- But Prometeus got in his was, pushing him, Hugo tough Prom was obstaclulising his way so he pushed back, until Ruddy jumped on Hugo's shoulder , he wanted to strike at Rudigger until his hand got caught, Ruddy took it to shove Prom's reins on it, and then jump to Prometeus back, Hugo was confused but the understood, they wanted to guide him and don't let him get lost.
Tumblr media
Wait , why did I made those points more descriptive than the past ones that were way more interesting? well, because when I started this one's I had more time (seven days ago)
So let's go faster before I run out of time again
Extra note : Hugo has been getting Donella's messages, Olivia brings them, but he can't read them, so, he just writes on both sides of the paper "talk to you later" and send them back, he has tried to "go on a walk" alone to encounter her, but nobody and no animal leave him alone.
6.- The human team noticed the animal team had problems of communication and proper lead, so, they started to take more turns, of course, they stopped researching Ulla's diary to keep researching medical options for Hugo
7.- Varian turns were full of human experimentation, testing all oftamologist products with new addition Varian did, Young turns were full of entertainment made for the blinds, guessing, reading, soft martial arts, and some accidents Young had, due to his prone to disaster nature, Nuru turns would be Hugo's actual relief, because she would be like a mom taking care of a sick son, and chatting a lot about the situation, about their feelings, and spectations , encouraging words with also reality slaps.
8.- Nuru needed the team to hurry and find the eternal library, she is still worried about the coming meteor disaster on her kingdom , so after weeks, watching no big improvement, she calls a meeting, saying that, in the Eternal Library , they will be able to find The Cure for Hugo sickness, so it's better to let him stay safe with other people to take care of him, maybe she can provide him nurses and a place to stay in her kindgom.
9.- Hugo kind of looks offended , but kept quiet to hear about the others reactions, Varian is taken aback, the idea of leave him behind is hard, Young volunteers to stay with Hugo all the time, but Nuru and Varian say no thanks, after all he is a child, need adult supervision, not supervising a vulnerable adult, what if they have another fire related accident alone?, Maybe is better to accept Nuru's offer
10.- But that also makes them wonder about the next stage, what if Hugo gets stuck on a meteor shower? So they think about another place like Corona , but thinking about it, that place is very behind time about scientific development and about medical care so instead of get taking care of, he will end up just waiting with no real treatment, next they think about Yong kingdom , with his family or maybe hired nurses , very much nicer place where Hugo will be able to have a naturalist treatment and maybe get a treatment from any doctor, because Yong kingdom gets a lot of migrants.
11.- Hugo just thinks if is he being a burden for them, he should go back with Cyrus and Donella, his adoptive mother, no wait, his boss, so she can give him a better place to stay, keep hidden the secret and stop pretending, the Kingdom he is from, is supposed to have a higher scientific development so maybe with Donella help he can have a better quality doctor and stay with the people he grew up with.
12.- The night arrives, everyone looks asleep, but Hugo is writing a letter for Donella saying something like " I'm very sorry, I'm leaving, I can't keep going, please find someone else to help you with your mission I can no longer do it, I'll go-" and then he herd Varian voice in front on him asking was was he doing, Hugo hides the letter under the covers and evades, but Varian readed all
Thanks for reading 🌾🍁🌊
See you for the final part 3 🌱🪷

Could u talk a bit about other stories you have planned or AUs?
Oof, i can do that sure! Important: ALL this are works I didn't write anything for yet except notes that are all in ONE document. I haven't started writing any of them yet! (Except infeasible)
Also, all of them are Dreamnoblade as main ship!
Infeasible Prince!Dream and Knight!Techno. Basically Dream was sent to the kindgom where Techno is a knight in order to marry the prince there. However, the prince is a horrible person and Dream knows this, but is ready to go through with the marriage to help his own kingdom. Techno is his personal knight. The two get closer and fall in love but... There will Not be a happy ending in this one!
Arranged Marriage with a Twist-AU Techno is the king of the arctic empire but his people get worried cause he doesn't have a lover. In order to remain peace with another kingdom he get to marry the princess. However, on the wedding night (after the ceromony) it gets revealed that not the princess of the kingdom was sent but the prince, Dream. In order to not embarrass himself they keep that secret. Oh yeah, also there's a twist! Not sure if this will be a happy ending or not!
A/B/O Dragon-Edition Techno works as a scientist in laboratory that expertices in dragonoids. Dragons that can turn human. When they get one of the rare male Omega dragons he get assigned to look after him. However, the dragon is aggressive and stronger than people thought. Soon it's revealed that Techno is also a Dragonoid and they try to find a way to safe the dragon, Dream. Most likely a happy ending and a shorter story!
Hybrids-AU Dream was an Enderdragon Hybrid, one of the rarest out there. Techno was a piglin Hybrid, rather common but great for illegal fightings. Both lived happily in Philza's village after being separated from their mothers. One day hunters came to pillage it and Techno lost his best friend. Years later he finds him again and has to hope that Dream remembers him Happy Ending planned!
Cat Café – AU Dream owns his own cat cafe at the corner of a small street. One day Techno finds his way in and falls for the cute owner. What Dream doesn't know it that Techno is the boss of a rather known and brutal gang and Techno didn't plan on telling him. Happy Ending or Bittersweet Ending planned!
Cardverse-AU Every few years new people were chosen to become the King, Queen and Jack of four different kingdoms. They are born with certain marks on their skin and would live in the castle to learn their duties. Each country – Spade, Hearts, Clubs and Diamonds – followed said rule and each King, Queen and Jack had their own powers. Techno was the king of Spade and grew up learning how to rule, his Queen wasn't found though. Until one day they brought him a blonde man who looked like a peasant. Not sure about the ending yet!
Dragon-Rider-AU Techno was a pure-born, both parents were Dragon Riders and obviously so was he. His grades in the academy proved that. Then there was Dream, a boy with a scholarship who had been picked up from the street, a dirtblood and – when you can trust rumors – a queer. He could never be a Rider and no dragon would choose him at the end of the first year. Or so Techno's friends said and he believed them but were proofen wrong. Meanwhile the evil kept rising to more power, wanting to get rid of non-purebloods Bittersweet Ending planned!
Futuristic-AU A serious of murders were happening in L'manberg and Techno was ordered to find out what happened. Sadly he met a certain Sexbot who seemed to have been programmed in a weird way, like he had actual characters and feelings. But he was a machine, but to Techno's misfortune he was needed to solve the case. Not Sure about the ending yet!
Dystopian Apocalypse Techno is undercover in one of the three Cities behind walls. They were built when the apocalypse started and monsters swarmed over the earth, infecting people and making them sick and turn into monsters of their own. Techno belongs to a rebellion that wants to make the walls fall so that not only rich snobs are safe. One day he gets ordered for protection to transport a possible cure that will only be used within the walls. His rebellion group attacks the escort and steal the cargo, but to their surprise there wasn't any medicine, but a human being (Dream). Now they have to figure out what to do with him. Not sure about the ending yet!
Hiraeth - Part 2 Can't say anything here due to spoiler, sorry! Except that it will be in Dream's POV! Happy Ending planned!
College-AU Techno is on Love with Dream, but Dream is on love with someone else. In order to forget him, Dream is willing to sleep with Techno and he accept it. With time more feelings happen and hearts get broken. Not sure about the ending yet, but lean towards happy ending! :]
Superhero-AU Dream works for the city, always. He really needs a break but due to being the most successful hero he rarely get one. His main enemy is Blood God who works witht he Syndicate in the hope of making the city fall. One day something happens that they need to work together, because hybrids kept vanishing and when one of Blood God's as well as Dream's friend vanish, they see no other option. (Dream eventually gets curropted here) Not sure about the ending yet!

✨️COMING SOON✨️
After more than a year in production, I and @emblemred are SUPER excited to announce that the creation of our webcomic Whispers of Aether has begun!
Tumblr media
Some 400 years ago, The Great Divide caused the world of Aetheria to be gripped in the claws of war for decades – a war fought between Aetherians, those with an innate connection and ability to manipulate the life-force of the planet known as Aether, and Hominians, those without such a connection, with countless casualties on both sides. Following the Hominian victory of the war, Aether manipulation was forbidden across the world. On the continent of Isamica, the Hominian victory gave rise to three great kindgoms: the now-fading kingdom of Dasurem in the southwest, the industrialized kingdom of Kobert in the north, and the prosperous kingdom of Avican in the southeast. Now, the established Hominian kingdoms are turned upside down when Roshan, a young Hominian scout from Dasurem, breaks his guardsman’s oath by saving Lu’khael, a rogue Aetherian, from being captured by Kobertian soldiers for his use of dangerous and forbidden Aetheric manipulation. The unexpected pair find themselves caught in the middle of a struggle to not only uncover the truth of the war that split their society apart but to reunite the two opposing sides in harmony. [Slowburn LGBTQIA+ Fantasy]
Please go check out WhispersOfAether.Com to sign up to receive an email notification for when we launch the comic! (We promise you'll hardly ever get emails from us. We're too scatterbrained for constant marketing, lol)
The comic will be self-hosted on the website as well as posted on Webtoons Canvas.
If you have any questions about the comic, feel free to reply to this post or send an ask! We'd be happy to answer!!
Thank you to @emblemred for the lineart. Sketch and colors done by myself and website design by The Designer Bun (who is also me lol).

Enjoy this long rambling post that kind of goes all over the place lolz.
So I touched on this in a previous post, but to me at least, James’s arc about needing to be more trusting and open, really makes less and less sense with the recent release. This is a man who has been repeatedly betrayed by people he trusted, specifically who feel entitled to something because they consider James a friend and they’re angry he doesn’t just give them what they want.
Wee see it with Thornmane
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And Watts
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Even arguably Jacques falls into this category, him working with Watts is directly tied to his anger at James for enforcing a lockdown to try and keep people safe, even when Jacques tried to harass, threaten and bully him into doing what Jacques wanted, he said “no”. This is a man who has had three people that we know of. Want to use and manipulate their friendship with James to get some sort of power, and they chose terrorism when he says no.
Yes the show insists James is somehow wrong for being a little reserved with trust (which still doesn’t make sense given that he immediately trusts everything RWBY tells him, tells them his plans, gives them free room and board and dismisses all charges against them despite the fact that they illegally snuck into a kindgom and destroyed surveillance equipment that came to see who landed without notifying air control.) James being a little more reserved in trusting people would be pretty reasonable given the multiple betrayals he’s dealt with from people who he trusted. Why wouldn’t he be at least a little weary of trusting people after going through so much betrayal?
What also is kind of odd to me, is also the underlying theme as I said as all the betrayals being tied to James saying no. To me it just comes across like a those people who feel entitled to someone they have romantic feelings for not wanting to listen to someone who says no to them. I guess what bugs me about this choice is the FNDM’s determination to demonize James, the man who said no, and sing endless praises of the man who got mad at him for saying no and worked with a terrorist to punish him for saying no (Jacques).
It just to me speaks to the fact that the FNDM Have never dealt with any sort of betrayal and the absolute emotional fallout that goes with it. After being betrayed, it’s hard to let people back in. It’s really scary because apart of you fears it will happen again, and then your fears get proven right when other people get mad at you for being scared and hurt and are furious with you for daring to think they would do the same. It can turn into a vicious never ending cycle of fear and betrayals and abandonment. So while it would have been realistic for James to shut RWBY out....he doesn’t. He lets them in, but somehow that still isn’t good enough. He went through trauma and betrayal and he still let people in, but still the FNDM is angry at him for locking down Atlas, for not “being open enough” for having trauma he is struggling to emotionally deal with. For breaking when RWBY betrays him followed by Qrow, a long time friend, seemingly killing another trusted confident.
I know RWBY are the main characters, but that doesn't magically make it so I don’t relate to James’s pain and trauma, that doesn’t magically make RWBY’s actions and choices right. That doesn’t magically make it that CRWBY wrote a realistic and well thought out story. CRWBY accidentally wrote a painfully relatable character and once again gave him even more trauma related to close allies betraying him and yet they want us to just ignore that because RWBY are supposed to be the good guys and we’re not allowed to have a nuanced discussion about morality, choices and peoples trauma’s.

Book Review: A Court of Thorns and Roses
Where to begin. I liked this book, even though it was based off a tired fairy tale that so often gets redone. The main character, Feyre, starts off in the story as a starving tomboy living in squalor with her once-wealthy father and two sisters. She is the provider for the family. She crosses paths with a large wolf and kills it. Little does she know, the wolf was the friend of a beast-like faerie, who comes to her cabin and gives her a choice: come live with him across the wall that has separated faeries and humans for 500 years, or die.
I thought that this book was really interesting. I enjoyed the ending, as it was more of a slow buildup for me at the very beginning. The book started off a lot less action-packed than I would have liked, but the ending was riveting. I think Sarah J Maas (aka SJM) did a good job of putting a new spin on an old tale, but it was also more like an introductory book that needed to be followed up in a second novel, as there were many unanswered questions at the end of the novel. She did a good job of building up Feyre and other characters. I thought that the book encompassed many interesting ideas.
Some critiques, however. She seems to objectify the characters with very commonly used phrases such as “’[statement]’, he purred.” I thought that she could definitely tone down the sexualization of the characters without being so smutty. It was kind of difficult to track what conversations the characters were having without them being involved in a sex scene, at times.
Additionally, some things are very overwhelming in the turn of her words, such as the usage of italicized language, hyphens, ellipses, etc. She doesn’t seem to be able to write without using any of those for about a span of three pages, and it can make her ideas and her writing overwhelmingly choppy. Her language is quite basic, and the slow build up of the novel didn’t dictate the need for 419 pages of it. A lot of what she had in the novel was fluff, and the characters spent a lot of time dawdling the first half of the book.
Finally, SJM did not provide too much of an in-depth history of the faerie realm and its relation to humans for much of the book. There was a description of why the humans feared the faeries, but the backstory did not seem to fill in until the end of the book. That was not so much of an issue as she did provide history, but I was mostly upset with the lack of mythical history provided in the creation story of the realm in which she lives. And can I just say that the island Feyre and her family, and Prythian is located on, symbolizes England just as much as mostly any other new high fantasy series these days? (i.e., Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings, even the Graceling series, as well?) Hybern seems to represent the kindgom of Ireland, go figure. Her lack of creativity also was highly apparent in this realm’s cartography.
Overall, I give this book a 4/5. It was good, just not as original as I might have hoped it to be. But after all the fantasy material out there these days, it is rather difficult to come up with an original tale all on your own without incorporating drama from other tales.

Group E, Round 1, Poll 6:
Tumblr media
Girlboss.
Arlecchino
I barely know a thing about her, but I do know that she’s a high ranking individual working for a half-criminal half-military organization based in the fantasy equivalent of Russia. Also runs an orphanage and apparently raises the kids up to be child soldiers.
