My favorite whump writing prompt

When Character A is lying almost unconscious on the ground, slowly bleeding to death. Character B is holding them in their arms, frantically trying to stem the bleeding. Character C pried them out of Character B's grasp and holds them to the ground. B then pushes down on the wound, fighting back tears as A screams.

Whether or not they survive is up to you.
