The Reaching Isles is a world that exists out of various layers of energy fields. These energy fields are what all the floating islands and their inhabitants float on! But does everything (or everyone) float? Not exactly!

Does this mean that modern day pegasus evolved from dinosaurs too?? Like— how would the evolutions of horses and dinosaurs (birds) overlap??
Hello!
I love this, but unfortunately no the pegasi in the SC world started out as equines before the chasms opened up (a "The Great Flood" style planetary cataclysm. More reading on that at the link). Birds & reptiles co-exist/exist in their own branches of the evolutionary tree.
According to the lore of the people, God took mercy on man after the cataclysm and "gifted" them with pegasi. That is, the horses that existed gained wings through evolution (guided or not, depending on who you talk to in the Windy Wing Basin) to survive in the new fractured world. Man was then able to tame them like they had tamed the horses before civilization was devastated.
A little far-fetched, sure, but that's the main fantasy element of the world :)

What are you, really? I am going to assume that you are a pokemon as well, but...
Are you some kind of... Eldritch pokemon? You seem to hold more power than even some of the most powerful pokemon.
eldritch entity fails to realize it is an eldritch entity

(@sketchmew ) Sketch to Inari:
The other Mew, disguised as a human too, strides over to Inari and lended out a hand, "Hello! Fancy seeing another Mew here. I am Sketch, and I am interested into hearing about your universe." He said, eager to hear about the other Mew's endeavors.
I’ve always lived in my universe, and only recently made contact outside it. I suppose a lot of these universes see Legendaries as gods, but most Legendaries in my universe really… aren’t. I’m strong, sure, but I’m no god. Maybe Lord Arceus is a god?
Though even they were almost killed by humans before…
I’m not really sure where I was going with this.

The Ziek'ah are generally a very kind people but they are not without their bad actors, such as any species with free will.
Reg'ant is the leader of a notorious blood cult called 'Singer of the Blade'. They keep their cultures fascination with death but take it to another extreme.
They feel the best way to be close with their god of death is to become death itself. They kidnap and have mass ritual sacrifices to their god but they also tend to kill on a whim. Every death is one step closer to godhood.
Reg'ant is the newest of the long line of leaders; no matter how hard Priest tries to silence them, they keep coming back each generation over and over again.
Every member of the cult has a permanently attached alloy blade along their pointer finger. If they decide to leave the cult (which they rarely do alive) removing the finger is the only way to hide the mark.

[While Haruki and Akari are waiting for the extraction team to come get them from the research outpost after falling 16 levels into the monster crater, Akari noticed a growing red stain on Haruki's arm.]
Akari: You're bleeding.
Haruki: Oh, yeah. Don't worry it's not that bad...
[Akari looks at him skeptically.]
Akari: Yeah, usually when I hear people say "It's not that bad." It's usually pretty bad. Now lemme see yer arm.
Haruki: Yes, Ma'am.
Akari: And don't call me ma'am, it's weird.
{She pulls a First-Aid kit out of one of the storage cabinets.]
Haruki: But you're older than me.
Akari: And I'm also younger than you, so just call my Akari.
(Akari examines his arm]
Haruki: Right, sorry. Akari...um, so, what's the damage?
Akari: You have a small laceration it needs stitches...
Haruki: Um, does it have to be stitched?
Akari, Takes out her slugger ax (mini-sized): Would you prefer the alternative?
Haruki, panicked: Y-YOU'RE GONNA CUT IT OFF?!
Akari, looks at him incredulously: What? No. I was going to cauterize it.
(Her ax blade starts to glow bright red in seconds as a drop of water dripped from the ceiling on the hot blade; sizzling on contact. Haruki swallows nervously, Cut to Akari calmly stitching Haruki's arm up.]
Haruki: So... Are you some kind of prodigy or something?
Akari: No, the Bandit camp I grew up in just had a really shabby doctor who let me use his stuff.
Haruki:
Akari: I'm joking. *Haruki relaxes* ...Ol'Butcher's a pretty decent doctor even with the lack of resources. But, the real reason is my mom, she was the field medic for the the original Ultra Guard and I figured it would be a bit of an insult to her memory if I didn't at least get some medical training under my belt, ya know?
{Haruki nods as Akari finishes stitching his arm up and bandages it, just as the outpost started shake like something very big and heavy had landed nearby, they were going to investigate when Z's eyes appear in the observation windows.]
Z: Haruki, Miss Akari are yo-ACK! *gets shoved out the way by Zero*
Zero, looking his sister over: Akari!? Are you hurt? did you break anything?!
Akari: I'm fine, Zero. It'll take more than falling to a monster infested crater to take me down.
Z, noticed Haruki's arm: Haruki your arm!
Haruki: It's fine, Zero's sister patched me up. I owe her one.
Beliarok, who had hovered into the outpost: You the owe kid way more than one.
[Haruki didn't understand what Beliarok meant until after they were flying back up to the surface, Haruki was in Z's ultra-space and looked down and saw a giant crater the shape of an ultra that got smaller in the impact center, He realized that's where he and Akari had landed, she had shielded him from becoming a pasty mess on the black coral like canyon's floor.]
-----------------------------
[Level 16 of the Monster crater is called the False Reef: the environment resembles that of a coral reef only on land, though there is some form of water flow {it's about ankle deep} that helps keep the coral and it's inhabitants hydrated. Though where the source of the water comes from is unknown as studies have shown it's not rain water seeping in from the surface nor is there any indication that it's coming from other levels below, the most common monsters found on this level are: Eleking, Ragon, Guesra and Gubila.]

Mini(?) World Lore
The world of GoldenDusk actually has some....WORLD-BUILDING!!!
Yes, that is right a map and countries and history and information about each country.
So, this is just a lore dump I suppose. I mean the information I'll being dropping will also be able to be found in-game but...Who knows?
It could change at any time and how I format things. But anyway here's the World Lore & Map I have currently!
~Under the Cut~
World Map of GoldenDusk : Ladesh

Called 'The Country of Agriculture', Andus is a country of much land and people. It thrives on it's farms and many lakes for fish. It has fertile soil and warmer temperatures. Though there are two places in Andus where it is abnormal, a heat desert and a frozen desert. People who come from Andus have darker shades of skin from working in the sunny sky and have almost muted neutral shades of color for hair and eyes. It is a center for farming, fishing and many materials. It is currently in a 20/22 year-war with Nadripur.
Nadripur
Known as 'The Country of Holiness', Nadripur has a lot of inhabitants and land. It thrives on it's healing abilities and mystical properties found on the land and belief system. It has beautiful scenery, cooler temperatures and precious stones. Though most of the land is reserved for holy building and reservations. People who come from Nadripur have medium shades of skin, colored hair and light shades of brown eyes. It is a center for magic, divinity and many materials. It is currently in a 20/22 year war with Andus.

Though most of the land is dedicated for trade and tourists. People who come from Thaca have lighter shades of skin, dark colored hair and light cool colored eyes. It has ancient towns, cities and clear crystal water and jewels.Though most of the land is dedicated for the people and sanctuaries. People who come from Nusmardi have very diverse colors but tend to have light skin, and light colored eyes and hair. It is a center for tradition, magic, and art. It is a neutral country and being isolated it has many secrets which make it highly suspicious and a possible unknown ally for either side, and thus a possible unknown enemy.
Alisal
Known as 'The Country of Mystery/War', Alisal is a smaller country with an big island and has a unknown population. It thrives on it's weapons, ores and handmade products. Pokédex entry: Arideons body has a makeup similar to Sand, it can dissolve into sand and move trough it like water.
Evolves from Eevee by leveling up, with knowing the move Sand-Armor.
Wild Arideon are skilled Ambush Hunters that can wait in the sand for days, though they prefer to live of cacti and Fruits instead of meat. Arideons Body feels like fine soft Sand and is always a bit cool to the touch, so many people described it as very pleasant to cuddle with. Arideon are usually calm and patient beings, which probably has to do with their natural habitat in the desert. Because of that, they tend to get along with almost anyone and make excellent travel companions, but they also tend to be rather superficial and tend to not make deep connections with others. Pretty much the only exception to this are their mates.

The Execution of Thomas Aster by Anthocyanin Faustin
From 2979-2989, Sméqyaem would go through a revolution. For centuries, the Rhodenderon Monarchy had reigned over Sméqyaem, slowly gaining power over their neighboring nations until in 2975, Sméqyaem had complete power over the Isles.
From 2980-2990, revolutions exploded all over the Isles, battling against their oppressors, which is called the Blooming. And one of the triggers for these series of revolutions was what was happening in this very painting.
In 2981, the Estates Garden — a politically significant building where mainly the monarchy and aristocrats made decisions for the nation — was burned down by a group of revolutionaries called Les Graines.
Les Graines was led by Thomas Aster — this guy right there — an Más-Allán who was a royal advisor and tutor to the Rhodenderon Family. He would soon be executed in The Weeding, one of the largest royal executions in Sméqyaem history, which swiftly followed the Burning of the Estates.
This was painted by Anthocyanin Faustin. The girl reaching out for him is his daughter, Aurelia Aster, who would soon flee the country once she began getting accused of her being a revolutionary.
During The Weeding, hoards of people came to watch the execution take place. Everyone, from soldiers to aristocrats, and common people crowded around the podium, just to watch the beheading of Les Graines. Even common folk had opened their windows just to watch from the comfort of their homes.
The executioner was Fabien Calixte, who would soon be known for executing at least 500 people before and during The Weeding.
Instead of filling the people with nationalistic pride, The Weeding only fuelled the anti-monarchy sentiment that was there, even before the Burning of the Estates. Instead of highlighting the power of the Monarchy, it highlighted its brutality and how the power they hold is more terrifying that respectable.
And when this painting came out, it was at the height of The Blooming, which would only fuel the revolutions even further.
