Superfan's Short Movie Reviews: "The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare"
It's nice to see Guy Ritchie continuing the great tradition of World War II action movies. This may not be the most historically accurate depiction of the true story it tells, but that's not really what it's trying to be. This is an explosive, funny, action-packed piece of entertainment with a cast that's about as fun to watch as the mission their characters undertake. As far as a movie like that goes, you'll get your money's worth. I certainly did.
Here’s a picture of Edgar Wright, one of my favorite filmmakers, with his massive collection of movies, DVDs and Blu-Rays galore. Man, I wish my collection was as big as this.
Entertainment Weekly first look at Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson/Captain America and Harrison Ford as Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross in Captain America: Brave New World (2025)
I have to say, as far as gritty action thrillers go, this one felt unique to me. Dev Patel absolutely kills it both behind and in front of the camera. The cultural element he infuses into the narrative adds a perspective that's as interesting as it is emotional. Plus, the action here does pack quite a punch to say the least. Bottom line, this is an amazing movie, one so engaging and stunning it will leave you wanting more.
Yes! We’re finally gonna find out what happened to Barriss after the end of the Clone Wars, not to metion getting more into Morgan Elsbeth’s backstory too.
With Monkey Man, The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, The Fall Guy, Furiosa, and now this, it seems like 2024 is already shaping up to be a good year for action movies. Seriously, this looks absolutely insane.
As a fan of the How to Train Your Dragon movies, I’m crying tears of joy right now. The layout and level of detail that they’re putting into this section is absolutely extraordinary! I’ll be eager to revisit this world when Epic Universe opens.

Superfan's Short Movie Reviews: "Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire"
I've always been fond of the Ghostbusters movies. With "Afterlife" having established a new era for the franchise, I think it's safe to say that it's follow-up, "Frozen Empire", is an entertaining installment. The signature blend of comedy and scares works well here. Plus, I just get a kick out of seeing the old characters together with the new characters. What can I say, bustin' makes me feel good!
