Once again, you woke up alone in your nest. It has been two weeks since your heat, and you’ve barely seen your new mate.

He drops a kiss to the top of your head, before heading off to the shower.

You step into the kitchen and begin to fix him some breakfast.

Eggs, toast, bacon. Doing your very best to have it all finished at the same time.

Gator steps into the kitchen, hair slicked back, holster around his thigh, and the rest of his gear situated just right.

You both sit to eat, and you watch as he devours his food, as always. Light conversation about plans for the day.

As per usual, Gator can’t tell you much about anything. You try to not let it bother you. Even though it does.

You hold onto his vest as he kisses you hard before he leaves. His tongue slid alongside yours, his hands squeezing your hips, pulling you flush against him, making sure you’ll think about nothing but him all day long.

Fantasy Setting: SKZ's Rings

StrayKid's rings of choice and their meanings in a fantasy setting.

• a simple black dragon ring

• suble yet powerful

• simple colour that goes with his wardrobe, but highly detailed and realisticly structured

• not as prove of him actually slaying dragons (he wouldn't kill them duh; against dragon cruelty)

• to show his connection with his friends , because he would totally befriend dragons, cooperate with them, and protect them

Minho

• looks like a simple silver ring from afar

• only when he let's you get closer, maybe watching him cooking or more, playing with his fingers, you'd be able to see the actual design

• reminder to him to stay soft and kind regardless of how rough the world is

• the ring's nature echoes through the imprint even after not being in place anymore

• dude would definitely be surrounded by a bunch of animals and creatures when he's in the forest like a Disney princess

Changbin

• swort, obviously

• straight to the point and practical

• he would definitely use it, either to fight or cut ropes of trapped creatures

• more often, however, he would absently poke the desk he's sitting at when he's writing stuff or cutting his food when he's out on adventures

• has different versions of the sword in various colours, because sometimes he feels fancy and attaches a short with pink details

• would totally handcraft different versions with customised tools for his friends

Hyunjin

• something in form of a person

• it has an artsy sentiment, but also the pure notion of loneliness

• he'd probably end up isolating himself from the outta world by locking himself inside his castle, so has this as a reminder of connection and humanity for times he struggles with his own perception of himself in these realms

• not to demonstrate power at all

• it's his personal anchor to reality and his place in it

Jisung

• little snuggly crocodile ring

• deadly, unpredictable, powerful dude who is a loner yet often found in teams

• an ace, duh

• did you know crocodiles can climb up trees? they can, swim, dive, walk, run, climb, tf

• anyways, his friends gave him the ring and he cherishes it, because of that

Felix

• the sea in form of a ring

• he'd live at the sea with a huge beach, a lot of sunshine and peace

• when he has to travel, he'd feel like having a piece of home with him and just looking at the blue calms him

• he would trace the irregular lines when he's nervous or stressed

• could probably control water and would definitely use his ability to make sure animals, creature and people can always drink

Seungmin

• sandy, earthy ring with a hint of clouds

• he'd be so grounded and level-headed, yet end up with his head in the clouds when he's not in a stressful situation

• he made the ring himself after one of his longest adventures, collected tiny stones, sand from his favorite beaches (Felix's beach is on of them!), etc.

• his friends would randomly come to him with pretty stones they found and Seunbmin would collect all in a bag that he wouldn't let go off until project ring is done

• others collect gold, diamonds and pearls, but he collects his life, memories, his appreciation for his friends and puts all of that into this piece of jewelry

Jeongin

• a fox lol

• actually has several of them, all gifted by his friends

• he'd be wearing a different one each day to make sure that one feels left out

• when he sees a wild fox on his adventures, he'd hold up his ring in its direction and one time a mother showed up and proudly present him her babies (dude was in awe)

• carries all rings with him on adventures and when his friends feel bad, he puts one of the rings on their fingers to tell them that he's here for them, that he got them

definitely gifts those cute little rings to children in villages he's passing through

Freddy 🐻

He would be very flattered. Little stars would come out of his eyes.

His ears would twitch with happiness. And he'd have a really adorable smile.

- Really?! - Yes! Sure! Have you seen yourself?! - Wow Officer Y/N. Thank you so much. You're my favorite Officer too! - Aw! Thank you Freddy! -

After that he would be very happy, he is glad to know that he is not only the favorite of the children public. He really worries about not being enough. Always having to live up to it is a big responsibility.

Besides, he adores you. You always take care of everyone and you're good with kids, so he's more than happy that someone as amazing as you has chosen him.

Also, now whenever he sees you he always gives you a hug. You are now officially his favorite officer.

Monty 🐊

This alligator's pride would soar into the milky way. Don't do it again. Now he doesn't break his room out of anger, instead, he breaks his room out of pride.

His shoulders are slightly straight and his tail wagging. He's more than happy.

- TAKE THAT FREDDY! I'M THE FAVORITE OF THE BEST OFFICER IN THE WHOLE PIZZAPLEX! - * boom *

Already knowing that you are his favorite, he would be happy that someone chose him, it's always Freddy the main character. And he really suffers because he thinks he's not good enough and that's why he doesn't have so many fans. But thanks to you those thoughts go away. Secretly he loves you very much, he loves you, you are the best. 😾

He has always thought that you are very cool, the kids always go with you and play golf with you. You're good with parents and kids, not to mention your personality. He really admires you a lot, it's another thing if he won't admit it. 👀

When he sees you he ruffles your hair, knowing it bothers you. 👹But... the good thing is that his way of showing he appreciates you is by giving you free items from his merchandising.

Roxy 🐺

Her chip twists and smiles unconsciously, then takes it off, ahem cool and serious mode, tsundere stuff.

She doesn't start crying 'cause she's so proud, but her gaze would soften, her ears would fold back and her tail would wag from side to side.

- Roxy? Are you crying? - Wh-what? No! Why would I cry?! I already know I'm the best! -

When she's in her room, she cries from happiness. You? The most adored officer by kids and animatronics says she's your favorite? You make her self-esteem go up, her insecurities are still there, but knowing that you have chosen her motivates her a lot. She appreciates you more than you think she does.

On the more self-centered side... her ego goes through the roof, it goes to her head a little bit. Control yourself. She'd be bragging to the kids and the rest of the animatronics that she is your favorite. Monty would end up annoyed. 🤷🏼‍♀️

When she sees you she walks up to you and goes with you everywhere, she'd go talking to you, her tail wagging. She'd give you gifts of her merchandising, plus she'd sneak you in for hairstyles and makeup inspired by her in her area; Roxy Raceway.

Chica 🐣

You tell her that and you would make her the happiest animatronic in the universe.

Her eyes closed with her hands clasped together smiling, and wiggling her body from side to side. Just adorable. ✨

- No kidding?! - Sure! Have you seen yourself playing the guitar? And cooking? - Cuak Cuak! You make me super happy Y/N! I can call you by your name, can't I? - As you like Chica!

After that, already in her room; she would be so happy that she would jump. Her favorite Officer chose her as her favorite. No way! She would be very happy since not many people appreciate her presence more than little girls with pink as their favorite color.

She has always admired the way you treat people, what more could be asked of a worker in front of an audience? There were several workers who weren't good enough to work in the big pizzeria, but you certainly were. She worships you. She was secretly your fan and still is. 😾

When she sees you she walks with you talking about a lot of things and also sneaks you into the kitchen or would learn to play songs you like.

Sunny 🌞

Explodes, jumps, screams, cries, laughs; EXTROVERTED.

His sunny spikes spin and slightly gives mini jumps. Only sounds of happy Sunny and the bells on his suit are heard.

-I'M YOUR FAVORITE?! - Of course. You're like a little ball of sunshine. You always make my day! - AWWW Y/N! -

He would be more extroverted than usual. He would be trotting all over the place. He was sure that your favorite would be; Roxy for her cars or Freddy for his aura and prominence. But now he sees that it's not and he is VERY happy.

His favorite Officer has chosen him? He ADORES you. He loves the way you treat all kinds of people, plus he thinks you are very funny and always thinks of how to tell you to stay and "have tea" with him. With the lights on obviously. 🌝

When he sees you he just screams, I mean he doesn't even hide it, he tells all the kids you are the best and then runs up to you to give you a hug. I've already told you; he ADORES YOU.

Moonie 🌙

Confusion, joy and nerves. WHAT.

He wouldn't know how to respond. Moon is not as outgoing as the rest of the members, so he would just let out a small laugh with his arms crossed.

- Are you sure? - Absolutely! I love how you can be creepy and adorable at the same time! I would give anything to have you at home when I have insomnia. You sing beautifully. - Mmh. Thank you Y/N. -

Honestly, he'd never felt so calm and happy. He was 100% sure that your favorite would be one of the glamrocks, and if not, it would be Sun for sure. Besides, since the incident, there are some children who are afraid of him. Why would you choose him? Well, you've left him speechless. HE'S IN LOVE.

But no, you chose him. The kids never stop talking about you, and when he sees you talking to the little ones or even your co-workers he has always noticed a beautiful aura about you. Could we say that you are his favorite? Yep. And when you go to visit them you always ask Sun about him, it makes him feel special. He loves you. 👀

When he sees you he comes to you and you talk in whispers, he asks you how was your day and he listens to you, he loves listening to you. If you come to trust him, he would give you hugs. He feels like he must protect you, so PLEASE TAKE CARE OF HIM.😾

thinking about it, im pretty sure Hank is just a roach. goes in (or at least likes) vents, generally hated, most people immediately either run away from them or try to kill them (with varying degrees of success), can survive a lot of situations they really shouldn’t, some people fixate on them, some people like watching them. shoutout to Hank for being a true roach. Hey! So that last comment you tagged me in on that Moony ask got me thinking.

Imagine that Poppy had begin to get mixed up with the Toon Patrol when she was acting. Specifically when she was doing movies with wild, aggressive, dangerous, ferocious Moony and he has an odd wolfie claim over her. Not romantic or sexual (well okay maybe a tiny bit but subconscious), just- that's his co-worker. His protagonist. Poppy's kindof annoying but she's his and the weasels are bad fucken news. She'd be dumb to get mixed up with them. He thinks he needs to keep her away from them. (Fucken weasels)

He acts rude and gruff and dangerous about them and her. She's scared and doesn't understand, Greasy's thinking damn- this chica sure has a terrible boyfriend (he keeps getting threatened and sometimes bit), Smartass is like 'I dont need this.', etc.

What do you think? 😅 Just a dumb little idea. Going on anon cuz I am nervous-

No no no it's not dumb! You get back here we are having a TED TALK-

Um... I think I should probably add a TW for possessive behavior? And/or harmful co-worker relationships? It's not necessarily coming from a place of malicious intent, and it's not Moony's fault that he was drawn to be this aggressive, but still.

Ok ok ok. First off, the thought of Feral Moony having more comprehensive thoughts than people expect him to! Granted, it's not by much; I doubt even he fully realizes his feelings and beiw towards his co-star. Moony was drawn to just be a mindless monster, so the fact that he managed to get this much thought process (*sees the annoying rabbit being around dangerous weasels* *goes into 'keep away' mode*) is pretty surprising in and of itself. And possibly led to the Stein Brothers to come to the conclusion sooner or easier that they need to get rid of this brute they created before he gains enough free will thoughts to go against them.

But, as you said, the way he goes about this is not at all the right way. Moony, at this point in time, only knows how to be an angry beast. He gets irritated at the littlest of things, especially how he's been chasing that rabbit for seemingly years now, but hasn't caught her yet (in some films, he does. But then when the cameras cut, Moony sees Poppy is... Well, not fine, but alive??? He just had his teeth around her neck! And in some films, he's the one who dies- the first time that happened, bro got humbled real fast) So Poppy is a source of frustration for him. But she's still his co-star. It might subconsciously be a 'if anyone is going to finish this chase, it's going to be me' thing for him, along with the fact that she's his protagonist. These giggling weasels can go get their own.

Imagine him coming up when Greasy is flirting with Poppy! Or Psycho is being his usual loony self with her. I can imagine Moony getting particularly aggressive with these two; Psycho because he's another horror villain toon, and he's sneaking up on his protagonist. And Greasy because he doesn't like the way he licks his chops at Pops or looks at her like she's meat (it could also be because out of all the weasels, Poppy would be scared/wary of these two the most at first). Feral Moony hates Smartass, because of his loud and smart mouth. He also doesn't like Wheezy and how God awful he smells. Nor Stupid with how annoying he is like Poppy (Feral Moony didn't like ANYBODY).

Meanwhile, Poppy - she's so damn tired, man. She just wants to move to a beach house and live by the seaside! Yet she's got Moony on her tail constantly, and now these weasels... Well, they seem friendly enough, but if they started their criminal lives at this point in time, then Poppy would still be anxious around them. And this is pre-working-on-herself Poppy; girl is shaking like a chihuahua on a good day. If this was before they were too bad, though. Poppy would have an easier time befriending them (I'm thinking maybe she was nice to one, maybe Stupid since he's the most approachable, and then he went back to the others like "I made a friend!" And soon enough they decided to go see what was up. And now Pops has at least one weasel coming to the studio everyday XD)

Oh my lord. If Poppy ever heard that Greasy at least thought that Moony was her boyfriend, she'd have a stroke. She couldn't ever imagine dating him! She'd be like "Boyfriend?! Wh-Why would y-you say that!?" Girl can't even think about getting that close to anybody right now. Let alone with her beastly co-star.

May I raise you; Moony, after he's worked on himself and is trying to turn around, remembers Poppy and how she's hanging around the patrol. He wants to help her and make sure she's ok, but he also remembers how much he hurt her and doesn't want her to think he's being his old self again. Not to mention the fact that if the weasels remember him, they'll no doubt not take kindly to his presence.

Poppy and him still meet the same way. Though Moony is even more careful now; keeping his voice quiet, crouching down to Poppy's level and hiding his teeth and claws so he doesn't scare her, while explaining that he truly is sorry for their former relationship, and asking if she's doing ok. It might take Poppy a tad longer to trust him in this timeline, since they had a more... For lack of better term, involved relationship. But she'd still be able to see he's not the wolf she was afraid of before.

Oh-ho, boy. Imagine Poppy trying to re-introduce her new boyfriend- her actual boyfriend this time, Greasy- to the same weasels he snapped at before. None of them trust him, for obvious reasons. And Moony understands. He is relieved that at least they don't treat Poppy so bad, but he's still worried about her getting mixed up with this gang.

Wait... If Poppy got to know the weasels during her acting career, when Moony was around, that meant she had them as friends when she started dating Henry and Ben...
