We are working on redrawing the old concept piece with an updated style and anatomy! It has been traced for reference and will be fixed up to look good!
just saw this post and now I want a 2D shop type game from the prospective of the best weaponsmith in the land and all kinds of characters come in to ask for your services: the king's soldiers, few mercenaries, and local city guards for good quality swords, servants wanting fancy rapiers on behalf of their wealthy lords, the guy across the street that just wants wants a new woodcutting axe, one particular shady looking guy that insists on a huge order of 7 specific knives in different shapes.
they all drop various subtle or obvious tells about their allegiances and you have to be careful what jobs you take as sometimes the soldiers will question you and your allegiances will be revealed (but you'd be able to chose your allegiances through the jobs you take)
and then there'd be a separate screen where you actually create the weaponry that you accept to make, and maybe letters from your contacts that drop more clues
"Did you happen to pick up an extra screwdriver in all that junk you're carrying around?"

Happy Valentine's everyone!
Progression shots/short video with flashing below the cut!
I decided to re-draw my old Nick drawing I did for Valentine's day and also give myself a new wallpaper :3
I am so happy with all the artwork I've done since joining Tumblr, one year later and I am still inspired and appreciative of the community here, it's helped push my art further and get out of my comfort zone so many times, both with talking to new people and trying new art techniques, and even taking up some animation. Happy to gush a little this Valentine's (❁´◡`❁)
There is a carved circle in the window sill.
And a tiny glass ball in the middle of it.
It's blue, clean from dust.
Charming, like a little piece of sky that fell.
…Or was it offered?
Would you like to take it with you?
I'm working on a little game. It's hard at first but I'm learnig a lot.
The game Goodbye Volcano High finally comes out tomorrow. Three long years after its initial reveal.
It's a story about cute dinosaur teenagers during the last months before a meteor hits the planet. It has elements of visual novel, point-and-click adventure, and rhythm game (likely among other things not yet revealed). It is animated and voice-acted like a 2D animated movie. The player interacts with the game in many ingenious ways to feel like they are inside the mind of the protagonist, a punk pterodactyl named Fang, as the story unfolds and decisions are made. The music is sweet too.
The developers would love to reach 50 thousand Steam wishlists before the game releases. They are very close to reaching it. If you are interested, here is the link:
