Diner Girl
"So, we finally get to meet your girlfriend, in person?" Tim questioned.
"I'm already regretting this decision." Damian declared.
Jason chuckled, "Why? You think she'll like us more?"
"More like drive her away." Damian snarled.
"Relax, Little D." Dick smiled, "We won't do anything of the sort. Besides, it's been three years."
Damian sighed as they pulled up to the diner. Marinette had stated she was busy working until 5pm. The Wayne boys couldn't wait to meet her and asked if they could meet her at her work for a quick bite. They even said they could head out from there and take her home. He knew his brothers would try to convince her to change and go out instead.
Marinette heard the ding of the door opening and turned to see her boyfriend and his family. She smiled and looked at the clock.
'Thirty more minutes until I get off the clock. Maybe they'd like some appetizers.'
The Waynes sat down and saw Marinette subtly wave at them.
"My God, did you see her?"
"It suits her."
"I'm shocked she hasn't dropped anything yet."
Tim quickly took out his phone. He made sure to look interested at it, as he noticed the people in the booth behind them point at Marinette. He made sure his phone was still focused on them as his little brother's girlfriend approached the table.
"Sorry, for the wait." Mari spoke, "What can I get you to drink?"
"Hey, Pixie. Can I get a strawberry milkshake?" Jason questioned.
"Pixie?" she repeated.
"Because you're tiny and cute." he smiled.
His answered earned him a quick kick to the shin by Damian.
"Ow! You brat!" Jason yelled.
Damian flipped him off.
"Ignore them." Dick commented, "I'll take a limoncello float."
"Black coffee." declared Tim.
"Damian?" Marinette questioned, "Chai tea?"
"Yes." he answered.
Marinette smiled and walked away from their table.
"Oh, so she knows you favorites now?" Jason teased.
"Shut up." Damian growled.
"The butter knives aren't sharp enough and you know it." Tim sighed, noticing the girls in the next booth glaring at them.
Tim continued to appear interested in his phone.
'This isn't going to end well.'
Lila smirked as she tipped over her drink and it clattered to the floor.
"Oops." she spoke.
Alya snickered as the drink covered the floor.
"Clean it up, Lila." Adrien declared, "Now."
"Why would I do that, Adrien?" Lila questioned, "I don't work here."
"Well, if that is how you think, I can say you won't have a job anywhere." he replied.
Alya, Nino, and Lila looked at him shocked.
"You can't do that!" Alya shouted.
Adrien smiled and leaned back, "It's my father's company. Father expects perfection everywhere; especially in public."
"But my wrist hurts!" Lila whined, "It's why I spilled it. It was an accident."
He sighed, "We both know you're full of shit."
"Adrien!" Alya gasped.
"You are only special in your own head and it shows." he declared.
"Dude!" Nino cried out, surprised.
Marinette walked towards the table behind them and slipped on the scattered ice. Damian quickly grabbed her, preventing an accident, but the drinks still fell to the floor.
"Marinette!" the manager shouted.
"It-it wasn't my fault!" she stammered.
"You're fired!" he roared.
"But-" Marinette tried to refute.
"It's fine, Habibiti." Damian spoke.
"Yeah." Jason replied, "We'll leave."
The manager glared at her, "See! Now, you are making the patrons leave."
"The only reason we came here was to see Marinette." Dick annouced.
"Besides, " Tim spoke, "maybe you should hire Sausage Hair, there. Seems she'll be out of a job soon."
"Were you spying on us?" Alya shrieked.
"Recorded your conversations, too." Tim commented, "Planning to trip her? Classic."
"You're just jealous that Pixie Pop is better than you." Jason replied.
Lila stood up, in outrage, "I'm the daughter of an ambassador! I am a model for Gabriel Agreste! I travel the world and help with various charities! I know Prince Ali of Achu and Jagged Stone. I help Prince Ali in his environmental charities and I'm Jagged Stone's niece!"
The Waynes laughed. The manager noticed Marinette covering her mouth, but she was laughing, none the less.
'What is going on?'
"One: Prince Ali works in children's hospitals, not environmental projects." Dick stated, "He donates to our charities, all the time."
"Two: Marinette knows Jagged Stone. She is his 'niece', as well as his personal designer." Tim declared, "She doesn't even need this job, but she thought it would get her out of having kids thrown her way for unpaid babysitting gigs, at the last moment."
"Three: You are a waste of space from what Blondie was saying." Jason scoffed.
Damian smirked, "Go ahead. Tell her who we are Agreste. You've spoken to us before."
Adrien relaxed and smiled, "You're the Waynes. Your father is an international billionare."
Lila and the manager's faces drained of color.
Damian turned his glare to the manager, "Four: The only reason we were in your pathetic place was because of the angel in my arms."
"What's so special about her, anyways?" Alya snapped.
"She's my girlfriend." Damian announced.
The Waynes smiled behind him. Lila tensed up and looked between Marinette and the Wayne. Adrien just smiled and the manager sensed he had made a huge mistake.
"Come along, Angel." Damian spoke, "We'll take you home and we'll treat you to dinner."
"I have five restaurants ready to take our reservation in three hours." Tim declared.
Dick smiled, "We can settle it in the car."
"Sorry, I was such a bother, Damian." Marinette whispered.
Damian leaned down and placed a kiss on her lips, "You are never a bother to me. Though, you also have to thank Agreste there. He was trying to get the bitch to clean up the mess she made, before you came over."
Marinette smiled, "Thanks, Adrien."
"Oh, you're welcome, Mari." Adrien replied,, "Sorry, you ended up falling and getting fired."
Marinette just shrugged it off, "Like Tim said, I don't need this job. I just tired of Alya and Nino dumping their siblings at me for free babysitting gigs. I mostly took this out of spite. I'll be moving out of my parents' place this year; I didn't want to deal with packing and trying to take care of kids for some people who hate me."
"Come on, Pixie Pop!" Jason shouted, "Let's blow this popsicle stand!"
Dick smiled and placed a hand on her shoulder, "We can drop you off and we can go change in our suits that you made us."
Marinette smiled brighter, "They fit, right? Nothing needs to be adjusted?"
"Are you kidding me?" Jason asked, leading the way out the door, "Like a glove! Best monkey suit I've worn!" making her giggle.
"Do we need to stop anywhere to get you dressed up?" Tim asked.
Mari scoffed, "You think I wouldn't have dressy clothes? I have to travel with Jagged to his functions."
"Rock and Roll!" Jason smiled.
Damian kept his arm snug around Marinette's waist as they left the diner with a smile.
"Move, Lila." Adrien demanded.
"Huh?" she spoke, confused by the hostility coming out of his mouth.
"I need to leave." he declared
"But-" Nino spoke.
Adrien pointed to the door as Natalie walked in. She quickly spotted the blonde's coiffed hair and walked towards them.
"Adrien, those were-" she bean.
"The people Lila just humiliated herself in front of and they recorded the whole thing?" Adrien stated, throwing her fully under the bus.
Natalie glared at her as she quickly moved, allowing Adrine out of the booth. Adrien walked around the mess and spotted one of the dishtowels that Mari had dropped onto the floor. He picked it up and threw it right in Lila's face. She sputtered as she removed the soaked towel from her face. It was painfully obvious by the two toned skin color that most of her makeup was wiped off on the wet towel.
Adrien smiled, "You might want to get use to your new job."
"They know Marinette Dupain-Cheng?" Natalie questioned.
"Marinette is dating the youngest Wayne. Unless, Mari puts him in a good mood, Lila is likely to-" Adrien declared as his phone went off rapidly.
He pulled his phone out as Natalie looked towards her tablet.
"Oh, never mind. Timothy Drake-Wayne blasted Lila on twitter. The co-CEO of Wayne Enterprise just showed the world how two-faced Father's model really is." Adiren overdramatically sighed, "He posted the whole video of Lila pretending to be injured and purposefully making Marinette slip. He also posted Marinette getting horribly fired and all of the Waynes calling Lila a huge liar to her face. That's really not a good look for Gabriel."
Natalie tightened her grip on the tablet, "I'll call your father to see how he wants to deal with this new situation, seeing as we were suppose to meet the Waynes tomorrow."
Adrien smiled, "I'm pretty sure that the girl Lila got fired is the Waynes' personal designer."
Lila gulped and slowly sat back in the booth.
"If that is the case, I agree with Adrien, Miss Rossi; I would start looking for a new job." Natalie commanded.
Adrien walked out of the diner with Natalie in tow. Lila sat there frozen until Alya reached out and touched her hand.
"It's gonna be okay, Lila." Alya smiled, "It's-"
Lila tore her arm away from the journalist grasp and glared at her. She got up quickly and tried to rush out the door. In her hurry, she had forgotten about the spill and slipped. Lila fell forward but landed awkwardly, attempting to catch herself. She was rushed to the hospital with a broken arm.
As Nino drove Alya home, she sniffled as she looked through her phone. Her blog was being torn to shreds by people around the world. They were pointing out every lie and detail on how everything Lila said was fake. The comment that hurt the most was: I can't believe this blogger wants to be a reporter! Doesn't this girl know the basics for a reporter? It's called fact checking! Google isn't that hard to use!

IMW Chapter 3
Tumblr media
Chapter art by danismilek
Isa-no, Marinette Dupain Cheng
30-7-XXX8
Isabella couldn't believe her eyes. Who the hell would just push an elderly old man as they're crossing the street? Not even Gothamites did that (unless there was some type of crime going around).
"Are you alright sir?" She asked the elderly man, helping him up and handing him his cane.
Yes, she was the daughter of a billionaire, but that didn't stop Grandpere Alfred from making sure she was shaped into a decent human being.
"Thank you, young lady." The elderly man replied, shakily getting up. "I'm terribly sorry for making you-"
"No problem at all sir." Isabella told him with a small smile. "If anything, it gave me a slight feel of home." WHAT? He reminded her of Alfred! Sue Her!
Isabella bid the old man goodbye, not realising the perplexed look on his face.
1-1-XXX8
Months passed by, it finally being September, Isa finally having adapted to her new home. But just as she started to adapt to her new life, another thing was hurdled her way.
College Françoise Dupont.
Her father insisted she attend this school, one of the few reminders that he had control over every aspect of her life.
Sighing, Isa made her way to school. She stared at the stairs that lead to the school, scoffing at the size of it. To be honest it looked like the size of the manor's library. That or perhaps Isa just forgot how the library truly was in size. Knowing that she had no other choice, Isa walked into the school and hunted for her class, looking at her timetable and at the numbers of the doors within the school. Something she quickly realised was that she was right. This school was small. Too small for her liking. She managed to find her class, located on the second floor of the building, a bit too close to the stairs if you asked her. Stepping into her classroom, she was met with several pairs of eyes. Ignoring them, Isa headed to the teacher, remembering everything she had researched before transferring to this school.
Caline Bustier - her main teacher and her teacher for French, literature, and poetry.
From what Isa could remember, Bustier is a supposed passionate teacher, eager to protect and nurture her students, hence why she has had the same class for the past several years. Apparently she begged the principal to let her keep teaching the same class year after year. While yes, it did show her love for her students, Isa took it as a sign of fear. Fear of not being able to teach another group of students that weren't the ones she had already taught before. Students that she knew how to control, not having to start from scratch to learn about their weaknesses and strengths. She feared failure, perhaps change.
"Hello, Miss Bustier. My name is Marinette-"
"So you're Marinette!" Miss Bustier interrupted, causing Marinette to narrow her eyes and scrunch her nose in annoyance. "I'm so glad to have you in our class! Please take a seat!"
Marinette simply stood there, looking at her class and then at Miss Bustier. "I can sit anywhere?"
"Pardon?" Miss Bustier asked, tilting her head a bit. That's when it hit her. "Oh! That's right! You've recently transferred from Gotha-"
"Can I or can I not?" Marinette asked impatiently.
"Y-Yes. You can sit anywhere you want." Miss Bustier stammered, watching Marinette choose the seat in the front towards her left.
Marinette proceeded to take out her notebook and go over her classes, taking mental notes on what supplies to buy and which she didn't. Everything was going swell, the class slowly filling in until a certain brat entered the class.
"Move aside! Your Queen is coming through." Chloé announces as Sabrina made sure that her path was clear.
Chloé Bourgeois, the daughter of Paris' mayor. Nothing but a spoiled brat from Marinette's research. As long as she steered away from Chloe, she was fine. With Chloé being the last person to enter, Miss Bustier started the class.
Hell. It was utter hell.
Marinette held the urge to drag her hands down her face at how boring French was. Despite already being 10 year olds, they were going over material that Marinette knew She covered when she was 7! Why was Miss Bustier still teaching this material?
After the lesson was over, Marinette left the classroom, heading to her next class. Hopefully she would be able to convince her gym teacher to get her into the fencing club. She needed to blow off some steam.
There went her chance at asking the teacher to join the fencing team. As soon as Marinette got to persuade the coach to teach her how to fence, a villain appeared, wrecking havoc with her...whatever it was she was using. Thanks to the attack, the students were sent home early, Marinette now in her room. She frowned as she paced around in her room, hating her situation.
There was a villain. In Paris. Where her father couldn't reach her. The irony. Marinette let out a dry chuckle, not believing this all.
"Father is across the ocean, there's a villain running loose in the streets and here I am! Missing the opportunity of a lifetime!"
But the universe just had to be against her.
As she slumped into her computer chair, she noticed the black box with an red emblem on the top of the hexagon shaped lid. Something screamed at her to leave it alone while a piece of her whispered to open it.
Prying the box open, Marinette watched as a red orb manifested in front of her, her eyes following it as it morphed into an odd creature. Making sure the creature was what emerged from the box, Marinette looked back down to the box, noticing a pair of earrings.
Ladybug themed earrings...o...okay...
"Hello!" The being spoke, Marinette quickly snapping from her trance. "I know this is all weird to you, but I can explain. My name is Tikki and I am a Kwami. To be more precise, the Kwami of creation."
Kwami of creation...that implies that there are others like this creature out there.
"Tikki...although I want to say that it's a pleasure to meet you, I know there's a reason behind you gracing me with your presence." Tikki nodded, handing Marinette over the earrings.
"Marinette Dupain-Cheng. I need you to take down Stoneheart."
After Tikki laid down the groundwork on how her miraculous worked, Marinette got to work.
She managed to track down Stoneheart, surveying her actions before deciding on a plan to take down the...akuma? No, that was the name of the thing that possessed her classmate. Villain would be the better term.
"Get away from them!" someone shouted, Marinette looking to the direction of which the voice came from that was about to attack Stoneheart.
A blond boy cladded in black -black leather to be more precise- extended his staff to try and fling the 'villain' away from her new set of prey.
Sighing, Marinette sprung from her hiding spot and prevented the boy from hitting the 'villain,' earning a glare and a 'hey' from the boy.
"What were you thinking?" Marinette growled, crossing her arms.
"Well hello to you too." The boy said, eyeing Marinette's odd choice of wearing a black slit miniskirt and short black cape over her red skin tight bodysuit. "To think such a bossy-" the boy promptly shut up when Marinette glared at him.
"I'm going to forget what you just said if you answer my previous question. What were you thinking?"
"I was thinking of defeating the villain. Isn't that our job?" The boy asked in response.
"Yes, it's our job to-"
"Then let's go! The people-"
"Are you being serious right now?" Marinette dragged her hands over her face. "Are you telling me you haven't been trying to investigate the victim?"
When she saw the boy slowly shake his head, Marinette let out a heavy sigh.
"What? I see a villain, I quickly head over and fight them off. It's our job after all."
"Our job is to protect the people, but that doesn't mean we have to ruthlessly attack the victim or villain. Since we don't know the full capacity of their powers, we have to proceed cautiously. We also have to make sure they destroy as little property as possible." Marinette warned, the boy arching a brow. Just how much did he not realize? "We don't know if the damage they cause is permanent or not...we don't want innocent people to die, or do we?"
She watched as the boy's eyes widened, only then his role finally sinking in. Marinette watched as the boy looked down at his hands, trembling more as he kept staring at them.
"So what are we supposed to do?" The boy asked Marinette, looking at her with fear in his eyes.
"De-escalate the situation." Marinette said, only then realizing something. "What's your name?"
"Adri-"
"Not your actual name, you idiot! We mustn't know each other's identities under any circumstance!" Marinette warned. "So, what's your alias?" The boy hummed before he smiled.
"Call me Cat-um, no, Chat. Chat Noir. What about you?"
"Ladybug." Ladybug provided quickly, raising a brow when Chat Noir looked at her in...admiration? "What?"
"Your name. Have you been Ladybug for a while?"
"Nope. Been Ladybug for a few hours." The two were snapped from their conversation when they heard a scream nearby. "Come on Chat, we have a victim to help."
After an hour of trying to calm the victim down, but coming to no avail, the duo resorted to fighting the victim, finding her akuma to be trapped in a piece of paper tucked in his hand.
Ladybug stood below the Eiffel Tower.
"De-evilize." Ladybug said as she captured the akuma, purifying it with her yo-yo and then releasing it. "Miraculous Ladybug!" Ladybug shouted as she then threw her yo-yo in the air as Tikki had told her, watching as millions of ladybugs erupted from her tiny yo-yo and spread throughout Paris, fixing any damage and reversing the victim's effects on any person inflicted by the victim's power.
"That was amazing!" A girl shouted from across the police tape, Ladybug turning to see her classmate...or rather her seat 'buddy'. Alya is her name...if Marinette remembered correctly. "Say, can we know the name of the hero who just finished saving Paris?" Alya asked, smiling as she watched Ladybug approach her.
"The name's Ladybug. I'm just doing what I must to keep Paris safe." With those words, Ladybug ran off, using her yo-yo to lift herself onto a building and disappear into the distance.

part 2
The sun was shining low in the sky, casting dark shadows over where the evening birds were singing above the city of Paris. It was indeed a beautiful day—and Alya Cesaire, if asked, would have agreed, but for a completely different reason.
Her dress flitting in the wind, Alya barged through the crowds of people on the sidewalk with little regard as to what they thought of her. By the time she arrived at the Dupain-Cheng household, she was out of breath, panting heavily. Nevertheless, she ploughed on, striding into the bakery with an air of something important to say.
"Bonjour, Madame Dupain-Cheng," Alya said quickly, "Do you know where Marinette is?"
Smiling at her, Sabine pointed upwards, adding, "She's busy adding the final touches to that dress she's been working on."
Alya waved at her as she bounded up the stairs to her best friend's room. Knocking impatiently, Alya waited for an appropriate amount of time—that is about two seconds—before pushing the trapdoor open, gasping out her best friend's name.
"Have you heard?" Alya said excitedly, so excited that she couldn't stand still.
Marinette looked up from whatever she was doing with an amused smile on her face. "What happened now, Alya? Who has gotten married this time? Has Nino finally proposed to you?"
Her cheeks taking on a red hue, Alya squealed loudly, and a few birds startled from their positions. "The Waynes are coming to town!"
Squealing loudly again, Alya tackled Marinette into a bear hug, one the girl awkwardly returned.
"I apologise," Marinette said, her voice muffled, "But who are the Waynes?"
Alya gasped loudly, scandalised at the fact that her best friend did not know of one of the most influential—and wealthy—families ever.
"Marinette," Alya grasped her friend's shoulders tightly, "The Waynes? You do not know the Waynes?"
Marinette shrugged uncaringly. "I suppose not. I have not heard the name before."
Alya felt as though she was on the verge of fainting.
Once Alya felt Marinette knew a sufficient amount of information on the Wayne family, she set about the task she had come to the Dupain-Cheng Bakery for.
Her gaze catching on the dress Marinette had been working on, Alya felt her eyes widen at its beauty.
"Marinette," she gasped, feeling the soft silk of the dress slide through her fingers. "You should wear this dress to the ball tonight!"
Carefully prying it from Alya's hands, Marinette shook her head in firm refusal. "No. I refuse."
Alya smirked suddenly, and Marinette had to admit, it didn't look very out of place on her.
"Do you want to know what Rose told Juleka who told Mylene who told me?" She asked, whispering conspiratorially.
Marinette looked at Alya with mild concern. "Even if I do refuse, I doubt that you will listen to me."
Grinning at her, Alya clapped her hands. "Adrien Agreste is coming to the ball and rumour has it that he'll be bringing the Waynes with him!"
Turning her back to Alya to hide the sudden onslaught of red on her cheeks, Marinette hung her dress on her mannequin, rethinking Alya's offer.
"So," Alya elongated the word, asking a silent question.
Marinette sighed, already caving in. "Fine. But only because I want to wear the dress."
Smirking again, Alya shrugged casually. "Of course Mari, whatever makes you feel better."
Marinette shifted uncomfortably in her dress as Alya and the rest of the girls chattered away about the ball.
"Oh, Marinette," Lila Rossi's saccharine voice ran over Marinette like a snake slithering on grass. Absolutely revolting. "Are you alright?"
The faux concern in her voice suddenly had all of the girls fawning over Marinette, complimenting her dress and encouraging her.
Assuring them she was fine, Marinette covered her laugh with a discreet gloved hand when she saw Lila's furious expression, her face a mottled shade of red.
"Oh," Mylene said, gasping and pointing in front of them.
Marinette's gaze moved from the wolf in sheep's clothing to the mansion they were attending the ball for, and she felt her eyes widen slightly.
The mansion was larger than her own house by a large margin, whispering wealth subtly. Even from the outside, Marinette could see the elegance of it, the intricate, flowery designs that decorated it were a clear giveaway.
As the girls entered the mansion's foyer, Marinette's lips parted into a soft gasp. The inside was even better than the outside.
Soft fairy lights hung across the room, couples swayed and laughter was a clear sound—all in all, it was a warm, beautiful atmosphere, and Marinette couldn't help but let it make her feel good.
"Alya—woah," Nino, Alya's fiance, gaped at Marinette's best friend as his eyes grew wide behind his glasses. "You look—"
Marinette shared a smile with Rose as the girls watched him search for words to flatter his soon-to-be wife.
"Beautiful?" Marinette offered when it became clear he wasn't about to say anything anytime soon. "Stunning? Jaw-droppingly amazing?"
Nino snapped out of his weirdly stupefied state, and nodded vigorously. "Yes. All of those."
Alya's face resembled a tomato as Nino kissed her gloved hand. "Courtesy of Marinette. Her sewing skills are unmatchable."
"I can agree with that."
Marinette felt the heat filter on her skin as her gaze caught upon Adrien Agreste's formal attire and the way he looked in it.
"Your skills are amazing Marinette," he said, smiling warmly at her.
Feeling her cheeks turn scarlet at the compliment, Marinette mumbled out a thank you, clutching onto Alya's hand for help.
Quickly seeing it, Alya swooped in to save her, offering Adrien a teasing smile. "Well, well, Agreste. Fancy seeing you here alone."
Adrien blushed a little, shrugging slightly. "Father and Natalie didn't approve of anyone."
"Well," Alya said, a devious glint in her eyes. "Someone in the grapevine told me that your father invited the Waynes to stay with you."
Fidgeting with the cuffs of his sleeves, Adrien nodded. "It's true. In fact, they will be arriving at the ball—"
He was abruptly cut off when the previously chattering room evolved into a silent hush.
Marinette directed her gaze to the main entrance as four figures stepped in, each wearing a perfectly tailored suit, fine to the last detail.
The first man to walk in was tall and seemingly the oldest. Marinette was sure she saw every one of the single women in the room swoon at the sight of him. She couldn't blame them, considering that he was quite striking. Artfully messy hair fell across his face, mischievous blue eyes shining from beneath his hair.
The next two that walked in were younger than her, Marinette deduced, but equally elegant as their—she was assuming—brother. The smallest one, perhaps one not to conform to society's rules, glared at everyone in the room, green eyes sharp, while the other simply stood there, eyes searching the room as if he was looking for something.
It was the last man who walked into the room that caught Marinette's interest. He, like his older brother, was quite tall and muscular, filling out his suit very nicely. His icy blue eyes scanned the room uninterestedly, lips pulled down into a seemingly uninterested expression. Unlike his siblings, the material of his suit seemed to be impossibly darker, highlighting the pure white streak in his hair even more.
"That's," Adrien whispered in Marinette's ear, hand on the small of her back, "Those are the Waynes."
Gasping quietly, Marinette turned to him, her crush long forgotten. "Do you not have to greet them?"
Giving her a nervous smile, Adrien said, "I would be more glad to do it with company."
Nodding in answer to his silent question, Marinette noiselessly followed him through the ballroom, eyes firmly fixed upon the lace she had sewed onto her sleeve.
"Good evening," Adrien greeted with a tilt of his head, as soon as he and Marinette approached the Waynes.
The oldest brother peered at Adrien with a quick grin. "Good evening. Mr Agreste, I presume?"
Pasting a polite smile across his face, Adrien said, "Please, call me Adrien."
"Well then, Adrien," the brother said, giving a quick look to Marinette, "Who is this lovely lady with you?"
Marinette curtseyed as per the social customs before answering. "Marinette Dupain-Cheng, sir."
Smiling at her fully now, the brother deemed it was time to introduce himself. "I am Richard Grayson, but since we are to be close, you may call me Dick."
Gesturing to his brothers, Richard introduced them one by one, Damian, and Tim, until he finally came upon the one that had caught Marinette's interest.
"And this," Dick said, hesitating slightly. "Would you like to introduce yourself?"
Rolling his eyes at his brother—no regard for social politeness it seemed—the man muttered Jason Todd curtly.
Well. He seemed like a bit of a brooder, Marinette had to admit. He also didn't look very pleased to be here if anything was to be judged by the death looks he kept on giving to everyone.
Adrien gave them all his trademark kind smile. "It's nice to meet all of you. Shall I introduce you around?"
Nodding at him to lead the way, Adrien and Dick fell into step with each other, their seemingly sunny personalities melding well. Damian and Tim seemed to be engaged together, so that left Marinette to walk with the brooding, silent Jason Todd.
They walked in silence, content to listen to Dick and Adrien chatting until she noticed the glances that Jason seemed to be constantly throwing her way.
Embarrassingly so, it took Marinette more than a few minutes to gather up the courage to talk to him.
"Your suit," she managed to say, "Is very well tailored."
Surprise wrote itself across his face before he quickly removed it, eyes emotionless once more. "I could say the same for yours."
Blushing slightly, Marinette allowed herself to bask in the glory of the compliment. "I sewed it myself."
"Well," he said snidely, "Ours was done by a professional tailor."
Marinette's jaw snapped shut as she ground her teeth together. Did he just—
Judging by the opening of his mouth he wasn't even done yet. "And," he said, looking over her once more. "It does look rather amateur. Quite average."
Clenching her fists together, Marinette pinched herself hard in an effort to stop the tears prickling at her eyes.
"Well then," she said, just as icily as him. "Good evening to you and your oh-so-professional suit, Mr Todd. I hope I do not see you any time soon."
With that, she turned on her heel, going to where she could see Alya and the rest of their friends gathered.
As soon as she walked up to them, Marinette grabbed a glass of wine, downing it in one go.
"Oh my," Alya said, watching her with scrutiny. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing," Marinette said curtly, sipping at her glass. "Everything is fine."
Alya looked at her with a furrow on her brow. "You sound like you're trying to convince yourself that than telling me. What's wrong, Marinette?"
Sighing loudly, Marinette put her glass on the table with a thump. "It's nothing. Really," she added at Alya's concerned look. "I'm just annoyed."
"Well," Alya said suspiciously. "If you say so."
"I do," Marinette said firmly, wishing Alya would drop it already because it was only pouring salt on the wound that Jason Todd had made with him and his cutting words.
"Alright," Alya said, grinning suddenly. "Now, come on! Let's dance!"
Dragging Marinette to the dance floor, the girl finally allowed herself to let the tension slither out from her muscles, letting her body flow with the music.
For the rest of the ball, if she felt someone's eyes on her back, she ignored it, having realised who it was when she turned around, only to see the second oldest Wayne staring at her with an unreadable emotion in her eyes.
If he was going to be an egotistical, rude brat, Marinette wanted nothing to do with him.

Maribat 1920s speakeasy au
I was originally wanting to find some miraculous ladybug mafia 1920s AUs but I couldn't find anything. Then I figured I would make my own and instead I came up with a maribat one.
This is the mess I have thought of so far:
[ ] Anarka runs a speak easy called the liberty with help of gang leader Jason todd
[ ] Jason and Roy help run alcohol for the liberty and kick out trouble makers
[ ] Luka plays in the band for the liberty and helps out Jason with odd jobs
[ ] Juleka is the singer for the liberty but wants to help more
[ ] Juleka is dating Rose and she tries to keep her out of the dangerous part of her life
[ ] Nino also plays in the band for the liberty
[ ] Alya works as a reporter
[ ] Dick Grayson is a dective investigating a string of murders with the help of his partner Tim
[ ] Tim has only recently joined the police force having always looked up to Dick
[ ] The murders they are investigating are getting written off as gang violence but they think there is something more to it
[ ] There is a new mysterious club that has opened up called Papillion owned by Gabriel Agreste
[ ] A strange drug is showing up called Akuma
[ ] Marinette makes clothing under alias to high-profile clients. Some of these clients have connections to criminal organizations
[ ] Talia is a ballet instructor to both Cass and kagami. She is also friends with Anarka and Emilie.
[ ] Emilie has gone missing
This is what I've thought of so far. I'm not sure what the ships should be or the murderer. If you have any idea, feel free to share them. Also, if you want to make your own works inspired by this concept, please tag me. I would love to see what everyone comes up with.
I also made some sketches already for concept designs.

I was thinking Juleka would uncover her eye when she sings.

Have you never heard of such a thing, darling?
(The Timari Buzzfeed Unsolved AU)
Chapter 2: The Mysterious Case of Haly’s Circus
The video opens, as always, with Tim sitting on the couch, ramrod straight despite the apparent comfortableness of his cushions, smiling in a way that he knows will set people on edge.
People who have been watching Tim’s channel for a while are suddenly struck with the same feeling that new viewers endure when they open one of his videos for the first time. There is something wrong here, though they can’t quite put their finger on what, exactly, is off.
It is never quite scary. It is hard to be scared of a teenage boy. But it is certainly unsettling.
The reason becomes apparent soon enough: the couch is not pressed to the wall as much as it usually was.
Not that this was an easy thing to realize… until someone pops out of the gap for no reason outside of wanting to be dramatic, smiling widely at the audience.
“I’m back by popular demand!” Marinette says. She leans her arms on the back of the couch. “I’m not sure why I agreed. He doesn’t pay me. I’m being exploited.”
“I literally do pay you.”
“Riiiiight, of course you do,” she says, winking. “Don’t worry, GCPD people watching this, I am well taken care of. There is no fraud going on.”
“I don’t think I like this bit,” Tim mumbles.
“Sucks to suck! I do!”
He huffs. “Why did I invite you along again?”
“Because Alya said that I didn’t complete the bet and you’re lonely?”
“You know, at some point, I’m going to sue you for slander.”
“Public figures can’t really sue for slander!”
Tim’s eyebrows raised. “Is that true?”
“Yeah. It’s why tabloids get away with everything. Probably worth a google.”
He groans and rests his head in his hands. This does not entirely hide the faint smile on his face or the way his shoulders shake with barely restrained laughter. But it’s the effort that counts. Probably.
“Okay. Editor!Me, roll intro.”
The terrible dubstep intro is back, to everyone’s utter dismay. ‘The Gotham Files, with Tim Drake’ bounces around the screen once again, but it ends soon enough, thankfully.
Unfortunately, it is quickly replaced by another intro, complete with a different terrible dubstep song and set of strobe lights, proclaiming that ‘Marinette is also here!!!!!!!!!!’
People who listen closely can hear both of them giggling in the background.
Then, there is a hard cut to the two of them standing outside of what looks to be a run-down carnival. The sign above them declares the place to be Haly’s, but it has long since been graffitied over to say ‘Hell’s’ instead.
Marinette does not seem particularly happy about this change, gripping her new ‘company-provided’ flashlight (Tim gave her a spare he found lying around his house so she wouldn’t drain her phone battery) like it was a lifeline.
Tim pays it no mind, other than a murmur of how cliche it is. He smiles at the camera. “Now, since my intro was so rudely interrupted by Marinette –.”
“Popping out from behind the couch was your idea.”
“– I will explain everything now! We are at the site of Haly’s circus. Twelve years ago, tragedy struck during a seemingly routine circus act. A trapeze line snapped, and John and Mary Grayson fell to their deaths, right in front of their young son.”
There is a moment of silence for the two fallen.
Tim brightens up the moment sixty seconds have finished passing. “And, dear viewers, this particular case is a special one, because I was there when it happened!”
Marinette frowns just slightly.
Tim laughs and waves her off immediately. “I was three, I don’t remember any of it, don’t worry about it.”
She looks somewhat unconvinced, but glances at the camera and decides to drop it. Her concern is wiped from her face like it had never been there at all. She smiles and elbows him in the side. “I guess it’s… a plan to conquer trauma by adding another trauma on top of it. Men would rather visit a haunted theme park than go to therapy.”
He rolls his eyes. “I’m not adding more trauma on top of it, I’m not going to be traumatized. There’s nothing here that can traumatize me.”
“The ghosts are going to make it their mission to prove you wrong, you know.”
“Yeah yeah, my hubris will be my downfall, of this I am aware,” he intones. And then he goes back to addressing the camera. “Now, to this day, people suspect foul play, but police refuse to investigate. Perfect conditions for a possible ghost, don’t you think? So, as always, we are here to solve the mystery of whether the supernatural exists!”
“It does. Can we go home now?”
“Thank you for your investigative journalism,” he says sarcastically, but he slings his arm over her shoulder regardless, pulling her into his side. “Besides, you don’t have to worry. With all the stuff I’ve said to diss them over the years, ghosts – if they were real, which they aren’t – would go for me first.”
“Then could you please let go? I don’t want to be near you when that happens,” she teases.
He huffs a laugh and lifts his arm, allowing her plenty of time to get away. She remains close to his side.
He snickers and lets his arm fall right back into its seemingly perpetual spot around her shoulders. “It’s just an hour.” On cue, bright red numbers appear in the top right corner of the screen, a timer waiting for them to step over the threshold before it could start. “Then we can both leave, yeah?”
“Just an hour,” she mumbles disdainfully.
“Hey, I usually stay overnight. We can do that instead, if you want.”
The video cuts to show… someone, sitting at a desk, in the dark. Their silhouette is rather chunky, it is clear they are draped in one of the biggest, fluffiest blankets known to man. But they are not the focus. No, instead the camera zooms in, to look at the two different computer screens in front of the person. One of them is clearly editing software, and the other is on YouTube. Viewers can see that he is apparently listening to the ChipiChipiChapaChapa song on loop, and has been for at least three hours. Now, though, he finally opens a second tab. The keyboard clacks as they google ‘what time is the sunrise in Gotham’. The mouse circles the time stamp on the bottom of the screen, and the person mumbles under their breath. Apparently doing math, because they edit the timer to say 8:06:45.
The viewers are back to the actual video, where Marinette is laughing.
Tim does not join her.
Her laughter does not quite peter off, but it does gain a slightly nervous edge.
“That’s… a joke right?” she says. “You don’t actually stay in haunted places for hours every time, do you?”
“Well, no, but the only reason I don’t is that there is no such thing as a ‘haunted place’. I do hang out at attractions like this overnight, though.”
“Actually, an hour seems fine.”
The video pauses. Editor!Tim heaves a deep sigh and the clock changes back to its original one-hour-long countdown.
“Also, you’re the most stubborn person I’ve ever met,” Marinette huffs when time returns to normal. They finally step into the carnival together, and the timer starts ticking down. “At least try and pretend like you think ghosts could exist, to make things fair.”
“You think that this place has a house of mirrors somewhere?” he asks. “Because I would like to introduce you to the most stubborn person to exist.”
She huffs. She might have rolled her eyes, but she was too concerned with drinking in every detail of the world around them, searching for anything amiss.
There was a lot amiss about the place, to be fair to her. Old popcorn bags lay forgotten on the ground, abandoned in a rush and trampled under hundreds of feet, their previously bright colors muddied by the elements over the years. What had once been gleaming, colorful rides were now rusting. A family of opossums peers at them suspiciously from behind a couple of molding stuffed animals, their eyes gleaming hauntingly when their flashlights turn on them.
But nothing supernatural.
The longer they go without finding anything of note, the more Marinette relaxes.
She tugs at Tim’s backpack, and he gives her a mildly questioning look, but lets her open it and pull out a spray can of bright red paint.
“How –? When –?”
“A lady never reveals her secrets,” she says, smirking, tossing the can from hand to hand.
“Isn’t that saying supposed to be about – uh – demonitizable things?”
“Probably,” she shrugs. “Not my problem, though.”
“Uh. I think it is, actually,” he laughs. “You’re going to give the viewers the wrong idea about you.”
“Oh no. The supernatural-obsessed, parasocial people in your comment section are going to witch hunt me. Oh nooooooo.”
“You know, they’d probably be happy if they managed to kill you. More things for me to investigate – and with a personal element.”
“They’re just mad because they get no –.”
No one can guess what word is bleeped out here.
He groans, but he is still grinning widely. “Don’t insult my audience and their lack of... dates! You know how important my viewer retention rates are to me!”
She sticks her tongue out at him, slipping out from under his arm and walking over to the nearest contraption. It’s a gravitron, from the looks of things – one of those rides where they spin you around so quickly that you can stick to the walls.
Marinette tugs her shirt up to cover her mouth and nose (Tim quickly shifts the camera upwards at the sight of the barest sliver or midriff with mumbles of ‘demonetization’) and spray paints the words ‘Marinette and Tim were here’.
She looks at it for a moment, seemingly thinking hard, before adding a tiny heart next to their names.
Tim groans. “You’re going to make the shippers freak out.”
Her shirt falls away from her face when she tips her head back in a laugh, and she tosses the can into a nearby trash can. It thumps against something inside, but no pissed-off animals come seeking revenge, so they pay this no mind.
“You can always cut it out in editing.”
“Mmmm trueeeeee,” he says, humming thoughtfully. “But I’d prefer not to. Engagement, you know?”
She gives a little hum of her own before leaning in to press a kiss to his cheek.
His face flushes pink. “What was that for?”
“Engagement.”
He gasps and presses the back of his hand to his forehead, like a Victorian woman who is about to faint over a couch because she happened to catch sight of a collarbone. “Oh of course it’s for the views and not for me,” he pretends to pout.
She grins widely, opening her mouth to respond, but it seems that they are not allowed to enjoy themselves and have fun.
For, in that second, the carnival whirrs to life.
Lights, muted and strangely speckled due to the accumulation of years of grime, shine down on them. The speakers crackle to life, playing songs they hadn’t heard in years. The rides creak as their rusty gears are forced into motion once again.
If you, dear viewer, pay close enough attention, you can see the exact moment the light in their eyes dies.
It coincides pretty well with the lights in the park flicking on.
Hence why paying close attention is vitally important.
Needless to say, the kids are stressed. Probably because the abandoned amusement park does not seem all that abandoned anymore.
“Any chance we tripped a motion sensor somewhere?” Marinette asks.
Tim looks like he has accidentally swallowed a lemon. “Uh… I don’t think that they would still be working after this long…”
“Great! Great. That’s what I thought, too,” Marinette says, her voice squeaking in a way that suggests she does not, in fact, think it is great.
“But – but! There is always an explanation for supernatural phenomena,” Tim says, though he is eyeing the contraption warily. It is hard to tell who he is comforting – Marinette, or himself. Hopefully himself, seeing as he was utterly failing to calm down Marinette. “Noxious fumes causing hallucinations, confirmation bias, a trick done by living people for the sake of monetary gain (a la Scoobert Doo), the wind...”
“You know, at some point this loops around to being in denial,” Marinette mumbles, pressing so close to his side that it starts to look like she is trying to meld with him.
“Shut up,” is all he can manage in retort.
There is a loud bang nearby and the pair of teens scream. Their heads spin on a swivel, and the video is briefly impossible to watch without getting sick. By the time things stabilize, the teens have come up with a solution. Marinette points at the big top, the largest and most instantly recognizable building. It’s the only place that would provide proper cover.
Not that that would do that much good against a ghost, but you have to at least try to survive in situations like these.
“There! C’mon!”
Tim makes a vague sound of protest, but Marinette is already running, and he is dragged along for the ride.
Perhaps that is not the best phrasing, since a kiddie ride they pass screeches off the rails, and they only barely stop in time to avoid getting run over by a roller coaster car.
The ghost is hot on their heels.
Marinette and Tim hop the car, adrenaline fueling them, their feet thudding against the dirt.
Neon lights spark and shatter overhead, raining sparks and gas down upon them.
Marinette’s shirtsleeve catches, and Tim is quick to put it out for her, because she doesn’t even seem to notice, too focused on helping him into the circus tent.
It is as if they have walked into another world. A kinder one, without weird ghosts that are trying to kill them for intruding upon the place they had once died. It is blissfully dark, the only sound their own ragged breathing. After all the bright lights and loud sounds and near murder attempts, it is nice.
Electricity whirrs.
A spotlight blares down on them, briefly, a clear I know you’re here, before it slides away, down to its natural resting position in the middle of the tent.
Now, you may know I am here, too.
A man in a torn circus uniform sits in the spotlight, sobbing into his hands. A tarp lay stretched beneath the long-since broken trapeze, almost mockingly, as if the ghost is making a joke about how easily avoidable their deaths had been, if only they had used a net that night. The dust they had kicked up upon entering catches in the spotlight, making it look as if the air itself is reacting to the ghost, dancing with shimmering lights.
Marinette is physically shaking by this point, her nails digging into Tim’s arm hard enough to draw blood. Tim doesn’t look much better, either, his face an ashy gray color.
Red pools in the sand the ghost kneels in.
“... wait,” Tim breathes.
He moves as if to take a step forward, but Marinette is still holding onto him, and she clearly has no intentions of getting any closer to the ghost.
Tim meets her eyes.
“Trust me.”
She bites her lip, but when he moves again she allows herself to be pulled with him.
They make their way down the steps.
He moves to make his way over the railing and jump down into the sand pit, but the lights flicker and go out.
The hand Marinette has on him is the only thing that stops him from braining himself on the ground. He wouldn’t have died, probably, but it still would have been quite an embarrassing moment to have caught on camera.
When the lights turn back on, Tim sends her a grateful smile.
Marinette doesn’t return it. Her eyes are locked on where the ghost is.
Or, was.
She doesn’t seem much more relieved by the lack of it.
Tim jumps down and helps her come down after him. Slowly, they make their way over to where the ghost had been.
He crouches to squint at the pool of blood. Marinette gags and drags her shirt up to cover her mouth and nose again. Tim looks like he very much wants to do the same, but he has other things he needs to do, first. He rifles through his backpack, his eyes never leaving the ground.
“Tim…” she says, quietly. “We should go.”
He sends her a hesitant smile. “I want a sample of this.”
He pulls out a flashlight and points it out into the darkness provided by the tarp.
There stands the ghost.
Well, it isn’t a ghost. A ghost wouldn’t cringe away from a sudden bright light being shone into their eyes. Nor would it be wearing stage makeup.
The grimy-looking clothes check out, though. A+ for effort on that, that trapeze outfit definitely looks like someone died in it.
The man glances behind himself briefly, as if considering running, before his shoulders slump in clear defeat.
He groans. “What gave it away?”
Tim points at the blood on the ground. “It should be dry by now.”
“It’s –? I’m supposed to be a ghost? The blood being wet is not the most unbelievable part?”
There was a long beat of silence.
“Oh,” says Tim.
The man – Dick Grayson, the sole surviving member of the Flying Graysons – looks like he wants to scream. Which he does, but not in the traditional way: “Jay! Cass! Come out!”
Two people step out into the light, looking just as irritable about the whole situation.
They, too, are wearing ratty clothes.
Oh. Praise revoked. The clothes are not a Choice. They are simply poor.
Marinette groans and slumps into Tim, burying her face in his shoulder as if she can’t bear to see the world anymore. He loops his arm around her, dragging her ever closer.
“Ready to stop believing that ghosts are real, yet?” Tim teases softly.
She groans. Again. Louder. She beats her fist against his chest, but there is no real power or anger behind it.
And then she fixes the three homeless people with a tired look. “I understand why you’re doing this and all… like, the economy sucks, get that bag – or free housing, I guess… but…”
There is a long string of beeps as Marinette lets loose a frankly impressive number of swears. It’s doubly impressive when one remembers that she isn’t even speaking in her first language. Go her. Clearly, she took her English lessons very seriously.
When she finally feels better, she flashes a smile and sticks her hand out for the second guy to shake.
“Hi! I’m Marinette Dupain-Cheng.”
The guy looks confused, but he shakes it.
The video cuts abruptly. The three homeless people are waving them off as Tim and Marinette head back to his car. The viewers would never get to know exactly what was said that day, but it seems they're leaving each other on well-enough terms.
“Sucks that we went through all of that just to not be able to post any of it,” she sighs. “The GCPD would probably arrest them or something.”
“Nah, it’s fine. We can just cut around it and say it was a front for the mafia. The police hate the poor, but they won't mess with organized crime. Because a lot of them are in it.”
“Oh! Great!” she says. Her tone seems to be almost sarcastic. Almost, because why would it be? It is a great plan.
“I’ll keep the real footage on my Patreon, though. My journalistic credibility shall not be marred.” He winks at the camera. “Say hi to the Patreon viewers.”
While she does lift her hand in a vague wave, she does not seem particularly soothed by his words. Perhaps because his ‘journalistic integrity’ was not at all what she had been concerned about.
“Alright, now, we need to convince the nonpaying viewers that we are scared out of our minds because of mafia b.s., so put on your best concerned face.”
Marinette looks at him.
“Perfect! And we’re rolling again!” He turns to address the camera, all wide eyes and frantic hand movements. “Okay, so, it turns out this place is a mafia hideout. Who knew?”
Marinette’s lips begin to twitch into a slight smile at his antics. “Well, I’m going back to France in a few days, so this is not my problem.”
He gasps. “You’re going to leave me here to die?! After all we’ve been through?!”
“Yep.”
Tim looks devastated.
She giggles. “Fine, fine, I’ll stuff you in my backpack and you can come with me.”
He lights back up again instantly. “Ohmygod! We can have The Gotham Files: World Tour!”
“Mmmm, I only live in France,” Marinette points out, which certainly makes the ‘World Tour’ seem less than stellar all of a sudden.
Tim takes it in stride, though. “The Gotham Files: France Tour!”
She rolls her eyes, but her smile is nothing but fond. “Nice save.”
“I know. I’m kind of awesome.”
“And always right!” she adds, in the kind of tone that suggests they’ve joked like this before many times offscreen.
“And always right,” he agrees, nodding along, sage in his always right-ness.
“Except…” Marinette says, smirking. “You were almost convinced about the ghosts for a second there. I think that means that, somewhere, you know the supernatural exists.”
He doesn’t rise to the bait. He shrugs lazily. “I just think that, if ghosts were real and could affect our reality in any meaningful way, white people just wouldn’t exist anymore.”
It is quiet for a solid nine seconds.
Marinette has stopped walking. Tim slows, turns to look at her, mildly concerned.
“Mari –?”
“Fuck, maybe ghosts don’t exist.”
The video ends.

Bracket(??) Announcement!
I have FINALLY (which I am very sorry for guys) finished going through my submissions and have created something that looks like a bracket. BUT, in order to include the most characters, I have devised a group round with 128 characters divided into 8 groups and have sorted them in a way that prevents this competition from becoming a batman vs spider-man final.
making the polls shouldn't take nearly as long so be on the lookout for those! this will be pinned and I'll make sure to edit this post with links to the polls, and matchups are not necessarily going to be heroes next to each other! matches can be made up by any two heroes in the same group
polls will last a day for now and one group will be posted per day

Prompt; Miraculous | Avengers | DC
Marinette is Secretly Dating Roy Queen, When she's sixteen (Six Years of being Ladybug) she notices her class has been getting targeted by Hawkmoth due to the Queen Wasp incident where her temporary heroes were exposed her class is now being a specific target to Akuma's, she calls up Roy and convinces him to arrange a class Field Trip through the Major States.
Roy knows that Oliver has been worried about the PR that came after he regained Queen Industries and suggests that they team up with Stark Industries and Wayne Enterprises to do an essay contest where they pick a class that submitted an essay and give them a bunch of Wicked tours and cool events despite the Wicked tours and cool events not being in Marinette Idea he wanted his Ladybug to have the best time of her life during her 'vacation'.
So that night at dinner Roy suggested.
"Hey, Ollie?" He asked from the opposite end of the table," I know you've been worried about the PR since you regained Queen Industries and I was wondering what is we do like... a contest of some sort. Like an Essay one where classes can submit essay anonymously with their contact details on it so that we can decide who's the best essay is and like team up with SI and Wayne Enterprises to sponsor the winning class for a bunch of tours through the city."
Oliver nodded looking thoughtful;" That could work. Roy, I think you're onto something there..."
Dinah was beside Ollie looking really proud of Roy.
Marinette was reluctant at fist but Roy said that they could submit the essay anonymously and Queen Industries staff would select the best one that way Marinette was till working hard to make sure that she got selected and she didn't feel like she was taking someone else's opportunity (And The Author gets less comments about cheating from the Fandom) and she writes up the essay.
During the Whole Trip Oliver has been hounding Roy about getting a Girlfriend because one day he'll be taking over Queen Industries. Roy gets increasingly annoyed about it and Snaps at everyone that he already has a girlfriend and his love life is none of their business. meanwhile Marinette has been repeatedly lied about by Lila who lies about dating Jason Todd and knowing a bunch of celebrities and being in a Love Triangle with 'Theodore' (Tim) Wayne and Dale (Dick) Grayson-Wayne.
The rest of The Trip Roy and Marinette struggle to hide their relationship but manage to succeed until the Wayne Gala when Roy asks Marinette to be his date. Oliver didn't think Roy was coming because the rules of the Gala were if you had a boy/girlfriend you had to bring them as your Plus one. So when Roy walks down the Red Carpet with Marinette on His Oliver is So Shocked that he spits his Drink all Over Ambassador Ross.
Marinette and Her Class Meet a Bunch of Celebrities all of which quickly disprove Lila's lies and Lila and Alya get a bunch of Law Suits. During the Whole Fiasco her eyes had glowed Green and she'd tried to Brainwash everyone into believing her which resulted in Ambassador Ross taking her to The Raft and she was never heard of again. The Class tries to use that as an excuse to make Marinette forgive them but Marinette calmly points out that Chloe, Alix and Adrien had listened to her side of the story despite being under the same effects of Lila's metahuman abilities and when they found out the truth the spell broke.
"Y'know," marinette started not looking up from her phone as she snuggled closer to Roy," It's a real Shame no one tried to warn you of the truth. This all could've been prevented from happening if there was just someone willing to help pointed out the obvious lies. A pity really."
Then she turns her phone so Roy can see the post she's looking at nd he burst out laughing.
It was later discovered that Lila's Abilities only make people believe he lies, it doesn't discourage them from asking for other sides of the story or influence their reaction so that was all on The Class.
Alya gets a talking to about ALWAYS fact checking no matter what personal connections you have to the source by Lois Lane.
Marinette's Parent die and she has to take a DNA test to see if she's got any relatives who'd take her in as it's a necessary procedure even if you know these people are your relatives That's when she finds out she's the Long Lost Daughter of Tony and Pepper. She moves in with them and at 21 she defeats Hawkmoth. It Took 11 Years but she did it and now she has the Moth and Peacock Miraculous safely tucked away. After she repaired the Peacock Miraculous Emile Agreste woke up and rejoined her son and husband.
At 22 she Marries Roy, becoming Marinette Dupain-Cheng-Stark-Queen and at 23 she takes over Stark Industries with Peter Parker at the same time 25-year-old Roy takes of Queen Industries. After she takes over SI with Peter the other permanent Miraculous Holders move in and She, Peter (Spiderman), Mj (Spy; Peter's Fiancé), Ned (Tech Guy), Roy, Chloe and Adrien join The Avengers. She adds a Fashion Branch to SI and The New Avengers attend MIT online together from the tower.
I KNOW THIs IS LIKE A ONE-SHOTZ SORT OF THING BUT, CAN SOMEONE PLS DO THIS AS AN ACTUAL FIC AND COMMENT WHO IT IS AND WHAT THE FIC IS CALLED!? PLEAAASSSSSEEEEEEEE!!!

Miraculous Ladybug Fic prompt
A prompt for ML, based on a crossover with DC but can be tweaked for other fandoms or even no crossover at all.
The basic idea is a twist on the Bio!Parent trope, but instead of happening naturally it’s thanks to Cadmus(or Hyrda or whoever). A French branch wanted to try and make their own heroes, but rather then clones or brainwashing, they had a more “simple” idea.
Taking DNA from heroes and villains, they try to take the “good” parts of the DNA and use it as a “third” parent for a group of kids that could be raised more patriotic and loyal naturally.
Of course, Cadmus went through a change or got destroyed or whatever(depends on the timeline from my knowledge. DCAU is my preferred canon but again, your choice). So the kids got the DNA but not the checkups and training.
Around 15 years later, and the kids are starting to break down. Their DNA is simply to uneven without ay help for years. So of course they have to go to someone with reach that ca get the extra blood they need to get the DA to fix themselves.
Obviously who they would go to would depend on who the MC is(I choose Marinette), who’s the parent, the crossover, and how directly the kids would want to be with this third parent.
Also obviously not every kid should have that third parent, that’d just get annoying. And some couldn’t have it, like Kagami who is born in Japan(according to the wiki at least) or Alya who just moved to France.
For the third parents I’d choose if I had the focus and time to make this fic myself instead of just talking about the idea.
Marinette-Dick Grayson. Bruce is to overdone but she does fit the whole batfamily/Gotham stuff. Even if she is HILARIOUSLY above them in power. She moves faster then light and can destroy buildings with ease, they are normal humans. But fighting power isn’t everything.
Rose-Harley. Just, give Harley another smart but ditzy and bubbly blonde to steer her onto the right path.
Aurora-Freeze. Just fun way to take his character, would he be a great dad, just as loyal to his kid as to his wife? Or view her as an abomination and betrayal of his love?
Juleka-Circe. Could use a magic kid, and another villain that wouldn’t be as easy to deal with.
Nino-Vixen. Honestly I just want more Vixen. Both John and Deadshot work as well.
Mylene-Aquaman. I have literally no reason for this beyond both being blonde and just sounding cool.
Alix-Volcana. Just a cool half-villain that could easily be a good character in this situation.
Sabrina-Mala? I wanted more characters from Superman taht weren’t just superman, but few characters would crossover very well like this since most of them are aliens you can’t really get DNA from or machines or something. Max being Luthor’s son maybe but Luthor is almost more cliche then Superman, and he’s dead in the DCAU by this point anyways so no good drama. Eh you decide on this one.
Adrien-Green Arrow. I think GA is the perfect guy to both understand Adrien’s good nature and sheltered lifestyle, but also wouldn’t put up with some of his...worst attributes. No threatening to drown Paris or getting mad when Ladybug doesn’t show up for a date she said she wouldn’t show up to. He’d get a good lecture right off. But Adrien is near the end of this list because of the next one/s
Chloe/Zoe-Black Canary. I’d just make them twins for convenience, but I think Canary makes a perfect mom for them. She can care for Zoe’s better traits, while not putting up with Chloe’s...Chloe-ness and help her actually grow into a better person. Having a good mother that actually cares about them would be heaven sent for Chloe. Also ties into the last bit, having Adrien as a brother and a more hands on father in GA would 100% help.
