Blood Lust

Chapter 9

"Did you ever find the group who captured you?" Bucky looks at me when I ask that question, he slowly shakes his head. "No, I haven't. No matter how many of them. They won't give up anyone's or the group's names. Their loyal I can give them that. "

I never thought that would happen to him... his horrible fall, him getting captured and made to kill all those people. He couldn't even control himself.

I can't imagine what life would be like if I couldn't control my body... it sounds like hell. "I am so sorry that happened to you Bucky... really I wish I could do something to help."

Bucky puts his hand on my shoulder, very gently. "You have, just having you listen to me and not think I'm a monster afterward. That helps me a lot."

Hearing what really happened to him, opened my eyes. My Father told me stories of the Winter Soldier as the gruesome killer that everyone feared. To find out he never had the choice to control his own being. Also, having no answer about who has done that to you will make you go crazy...which after him explaining what happened it can explain why he has those constant nightmares. I wish him just speaking about what has happened could ease his mind of the horrors.

"Going through this... is that why you always mumble and argue in your sleep? I ask while shifting towards him, as he was sitting in front of me. Bucky sighs, "Yes, all of my memories and my- his past makes me relive it. All over again by my nightmares. I would see their faces again... See what happened to them. I couldn't stop myself, then I would be back in that lab. Them messing with my memories to make me forget who I was." I could feel the sadness in his voice as he spoke. Losing all of those years... to not be with his family or his friends. I even noticed he refers to the winter soldier as a person when he speaks about him. Like he was a bully you would speak of years later. Yet, Bucky and the Winter Soldier were in one body, his.

I reached my hand on top of his knee, "We will get through this. Let's just focus on what's on hand. If you have a nightmare you can come to me."

Bucky placed his hand on top of mine, "You're the first person I ever told this. Other than Steve and my family."

"Don't worry Buck, It will just be between us. Thank you for telling me." I looked up at his face, studying every feature. His messy hair seemed like it hasn't been cut in weeks..his facial hair made him look like a guy who would give good hugs, but what made me look at his handsome face was his eyes. I could stare at them forever.

I never seemed to notice his face getting closer and closer until our lips met.

A/N: Such a short chapter I know! Sadly my hometown was hit by a flood (I live in eastern ky. ) So I will be updating again soon but it may take a while! I hope you enjoy this chapter!
