You don't truly know the depth of your pain until you are pleading and crying out to God for help. When nothing makes sense and all that was once clear is clouded with doubt, you begin to realize just how fragile you are.

I miss your skin, I miss your touch
I never thought it’d hurt this much
I hate this feeling in my gut
I wish you would quit me, I wish you would just leave
Cause I can never walk away
And so it’s up to you to break me

Kafka and Hamlet (Essay)
Tumblr media
Franz Kafka
I once came across a fragment of Kafka's writing and writing by the philosopher Wittgenstein almost simultaneously(Both are German-speaking people.), and compared them. Kafka's sentences were incoherent, and I could only read that his consciousness was clouded. On the other hand, Wittgenstein's writings were logically clear and conveyed the purity of his mind.
When I thought about what this big difference was, I concluded that it came down to the difference in the qualities of the two men. To begin with, isn't Kafka, a literary figure, overrated? His famous unfinished posthumous work ``The Castle: Das Schloss'' is famous because the story does not progress at all. No matter how many hundreds of pages you spend, the situation surrounding the main character remains the same. Reading works like this is a waste of time. Kafka's readers are masochists. It's better to read the manga.
Shakespeare's ``Hamlet'' comes to mind when we think of ``The Castle.'' In the case of this work, the main character, Hamlet, is indecisive and should immediately take revenge on his uncle who killed his father and usurped the throne. Still, he pretends to impose a moratorium and procrastinates, causing his lover to commit suicide. Almost all of them died, with comical results. I think "Hamlet" is a bad work.
In the case of ``The Castle,'' the story does not progress due to Kafka's intentions, whereas in ``Hamlet,'' due to the main character. The difference is that the story does not move forward due to hesitation, but both works do little more than appeal to the sickly modern spirit of modern people who are either indecisive or are forced into indecision. They look very similar. These are works that are not food for a healthy mind.

Me forgetting to post the latest song as per usual.
Tbh, I don't remember this song. I don't think I thought it was bad, it's just not one of his more punchy tracks, you know?

I also picked up these two cuties on a whim and can now finally call two pride dergs my own. Meet Ace and Aro. For now I’ll only give them the pinstripe gene. I can not afford the wildclaw scrolls anytime soon. Maybe one day, who knows... Or better yet I’ll figure out less expensive scries xD
