Heyyy darling,IM POLITELY BEGGING,for some stu and billy with feral ,hyper, punk gremlin s/o headcanons. Simply the boys trying to be as casual as possible so they dont get suspected for the previous murders but then they’re running around with their own little bundle of chaos. Im talking like a real troublemaker, just for the fun of it but always just watching all the drama happening, never being involved even though they caused it. For example: •causing misunderstandings in other friendgroups •cutting someone’s car wheels (or similar stuff) after they’ve been rude to someone in their friend group, maybe when gale didnt respect sidney‘s privacy in the first movie •S/O has a collection of anything shiny and glittery things they stole (from spoons to necklaces) just cause they like how it looks and they know it will cause some chaos. •Flirting with randy, tatum and stu to piss the boys off a bit •Oh or maybe billy getting them one of those vertical cloths or swings for their living room,I feel like that would fit cause billy would be a bit tired of his S/O letting their hyperness out on him. •When they come home from killing a bit later sometimes, they just find their s/o sleeping in the most uncomfy position (criss cross apple sauce type of shit) on their swing, drooling a bit, their body twitching every now and then
I dont know if any of this made sense my head is all over the place right now. <3
Billy and Stu (Separate) with Feral Gremlin Reader
Billy Loomis x Reader, Stu Macher x Reader
A/N: This was honestly so fun to write!
Tumblr media
Billy Loomis
Boy, he didn't quite know what he was getting into when he first became interested in you
But he's in it for the long run, so here we go
Making Billy jealous is a common theme with you
Outright flirting, giggling, and dancing around with other people automatically makes Billy see red
But there's something about his possessiveness that you love so much that you keep doing it anyway
It almost always leads to a fight between Billy and the other party
And damn, isn't it fun to watch?
But that's not to say that you don't also feel your fair share of anger as well
Someone pisses you off even slightly? They're gonna regret it the next morning
Keyed cars, egged houses, graffitied threats
There is no limit to your creativity to get back at them
Billy simply huffs and puffs at you, berating you about being too "loud" with your actions
He's trying to keep things down-low by all means
And the last thing he wants is one of your actions getting him caught and put in jail
But there is something kinda attractive with how you stir up drama and give Billy some attitude
He doesn't like easy
He wants a challenge
And boy do you give him one
But on days where he simply cannot have you running amuck, he has you lay down in your own little hammock he bought you
For whatever reason, that always has you relaxed
It's like you become a whole different person with it
And Billy lets out a little "thank you" to the Gods each time he sees you just swinging away
He loves you, but damn, it's hard to keep up with you
Stu Macher
Stu on the other hand, is not phased at all by you
In fact, he matches your energy about 80% of the time
A friend pissed you off? You're both screaming and laughing while talking badly about them
Things are getting a little boring? You and Stu tell different people made up stuff that someone else is "saying" about them
You both love to stir up drama and watch how badly things can unfold
Stu is less concerned about getting caught than Billy anyways
What's even the point in killing if you can't have some fun outside of it?
So having you around is the perfect way for Stu to let out his hyper energy and keep things exciting when he isn't killing teens
But when he is out and about, he's thinking of you
You're probably at home eating all of his snacks in that moment, but he doesn't care
After his victims meet their fates, he is happy to dig around in their pockets and their homes, looking for anything even the slightest bit shiny to bring back to you
Nothing compares to the way your eyes light up at the gifts
Hell, you have a drawer in your room just filled with all things shiny and captivating
But Stu knows he'll have to wait until the morning to give you your gift
Because just about every night he comes home, he finds your head handing off the couch with your legs and arms splayed out, snoozing away
Remnants of chips and chocolate can still be found on your lips and fingertips
Stu secretly has made a photo album in his phone just for all the pictures he takes of you when you're sleeping
It's about time Stu had someone who met his chaotic energy

when i was a kid i had a VHS my dad taped from the TV (which he then printed a plain white cover for) of The Bugs Bunny Road Runner Movie and I watched it over and over again and to this day I love it
it's free on Internet Archive and if you've never seen it, then do give it a watch
it's essentially a collection of (arguably some of the greatest) Looney Tunes shorts - including Duck Amuck - presented as "memories" of the storied life of Bugs Bunny and his friends as he gives an autobiographical interview from his Hollywood mansion

‘Walker’: Jared Padalecki on ‘Hot & Heavy’ Cordell and Geri, What’s Next With The Jackal
Finally! You’re back. It’s been forever! And we’re still looking for The Jackal?
Jared Padalecki: Yeah. We had a little five-month time lapse just to allow for all the strike stuff, but it’s still the same storyline. We pick up in the same storyline, for sure, with some time passed. Obviously, Cordell and Geri [Odette Annable] are a little more, um, advanced, than they were. [Laughs] Stella’s [Violet Brinson] back to college, and Augie’s [Kale Culley] back to nearing the end of high school. But The Jackal has reared its ugly head once again, and we got to go figure out what’s going on.
And you’ve been going without Cassie for five months, so it’s you and Trey, which is a pretty cool partnership.
Super cool. Yeah, Cassie was on our FBI task force, and she comes back to let us know what she’s been up to and to kind of say, “Hey, there’s something we might need your help on.” We all love her and miss her and are wondering where she stands. Is she going to stay or go? But Trey and James and Walker have been running amuck in her absence. [Laughs]
And how is her return going to change things? She comes back a little different, too.
She does. She’s had a little different experience and has had a taste of what might be available to her. And she has a different set of expectations. Obviously, she’s welcomed back with open arms from our other characters, but it’s sort of like, “Okay, well, we don’t know where she stands.” We want to be respectful of what she wants and what she needs to do, and we all secretly hope that she’s going to stick around.
And we’ve got a full-blown relationship going on with Geri and Cordi. They’re living together. How’s that going?
Yeah, I think it’s going well. They seem to be hot and heavy, and I’m glad that nothing happened in the five months between the wedding and Episode 401 to kind of sideline that. But that’s not to say that something won’t sideline that within Season 4. [Laughs]
Of course! Because he’s taking on this case, dealing with a serial killer, and I’ve watched enough TV and movies to know that when the good guys take on a serial killer, serial killers tend to target the people their pursuers love most.
You’re too good at this, Damian. [Laughs]
So this is putting a target on a lot of people?
Oh, yeah.
And how will Geri factor into this? Because you can’t just have her hanging out at the house. What is she going to get to do?
Well, good point. She has some stuff of her own going on this season that she needs to care of. And let’s just say that Walker has never been the best about admitting what is going on in his head. Probably something that the astute writers have noticed about [me] and just weaved into Cordell. [Laughs] But we certainly see Geri as sort of a grounding force and guiding light who is trying to figure out things like, “Well, these characters seem to be different, and this person isn’t really responding the way I expected or when I expected.” So we kind of see her as the lighthouse that’s saying, “Hey, you seem to have stuff going on.” Meanwhile, she’s also juggling kind of new responsibilities with Augie and Stella. Stella’s an adult and Augie’s almost an adult, so she’s not overbearing by any means, and she’ll always be “Aunt Geri” to some degree, but she’s taken on a lot and is doing it very well.
We see Stella relying on Liam (Keegan Allen) during all the trauma that she’s dealing with following the home invasion. Will Geri help out with that? Because I feel like Stella definitely at this point needs a mom.
Yes, she does. And Stella has a great arc this season. Let’s just say that many times this season, people accuse Stella of being just like her father. [Laughs] Oh, yeah. Stella is great at keeping secrets as well and keeping struggles to herself. So just like Walker has a tough time reaching out for help, we think Stella may have unfortunately learned that from her dad.
And how is Walker going to handle the fact that his daughter has been counting on Liam with all this stuff that’s been going on and he hasn’t been brought into the loop?
I think he understands more. Unlike prior seasons, I think Walker understands that his daughter’s now an adult, even though he doesn’t like it. It’s new for him. He spent 18 years with his daughter as his child, and now he’s kind of a year or two in to his daughter being an adult and able to make her own decisions. She needs to be responsible, and so I think Walker gives Stella a little leeway, hoping that she’ll remain the kind of stalwart that she’s always been. And then I think he realizes that maybe even though she’s surrounded by friends and family who are there for whatever she needs, that maybe she has a little bit too much Cordell Walker inside of her.
And Augie going into the military? This is a big step for a young man, and as much as a father would want his son to follow in those footsteps, it’s also like, this is a very dangerous line that he wants to get involved with.
For sure. Augie is coming into his own and has some ideas. He’s always been the kid who wanted to grow up a little bit too fast. And frankly, with the passing of his mom and his father being a Texas ranger who’s been abducted and had the house broken into and kind of always been in danger, I think he grew up long before the prospect of turning 18. But he wants to prove that he is an adult in his own right and that he has these ideas about how to secure his future. So Walker is trying to walk that line between, “I know you’ve been through a lot, you’ve been through more than most 70 year olds have been through,” and “Let’s tap the brakes, buddy.” And this is not disrespectful. This is my job as a dad, but I think also Walker finds that, because his profession is in law enforcement, sometimes he can come across a bit more harsh than he intends to.
Understandable, since it’s his kid! I will say, at the beginning of the season, this is probably the happiest we’ve seen Cordi. He’s eating a massive amount of steak. He’s in love again. He has put the ghost of his late wife to rest. The kids are growing up, he’s kind of reclaiming his own life again. Can he have this all, can he be happy?
Oh, Damian, you know TV better than that! Hell no. [Laughs]
He can have a lot sometimes and some a lot of times, but one of the things that [showrunner] Anna Fricke and I talked about from the get-go was trying to make sure that this version of Walker was more similar to life than just a TV version of a [person]. We never sought out to go like, “Well, it’s the end of episode, I roundhouse kicked somebody and now everything’s okay. Let’s all high-five!” This is more like, “Well, what did I miss while trying to get the bad guy? Oh, I missed my daughter’s graduation. Oh, I missed her birthday. I missed this. Oh, I didn’t call back my live-in partner that I was supposed to.”
And so there’s no pure win and there is no pure loss. So I think with Walker, though happy now, his life happens in seasons and not like TV seasons. Walker’s had some hard times and now is an easy time, but life is difficult, and Walker finds that out.
Still, it’s nice to see him getting to enjoy being the hero he is more than usual. Especially with Captain James. This season, the drama is his and Cordi gets to be there for him and support him.
Yeah. That is very true, and it’s great. Yeah, I agree all around. I think Walker is going to find out who he is in good times, which he hasn’t had a whole lot of chance to explore yet. And as with anything, if you haven’t had a lot of experience, you might not be as good at it as you would’ve hoped. We’ve all seen that Walker can be great in times of struggle. He’s had some reps in the gym as far as that arena goes. But let’s see who he is when there’s no bad guy to chase right now — especially when that bad guy might be strengthening themselves in preparation for when the Rangers come after them.
Before you go, was there anything that you’ve gotten to do this season that you just are so excited for people to see?
Big time. We’ve had a lot of fun, fun stuff. There’s something, unfortunately it’s the finale, so I can’t talk about it—I’ll call you privately [Laughs]—but I will say, in the first episode, we have a really fun sequence. We got to do a car-chase sequence in the back of a big rig.
And funny behind-the-scenes fact that no one knows about: During the Longhorns playoff game on New Year’s Day, I was walking around barefoot, my brother and his kids were over, and they were all playing and stupidly, I grabbed a piece of pizza and tried to run back to the couch to watch the game and I kicked my coffee table on accident! So I had a broken toe for the first three episodes and before shooting that sequence and for a couple episodes after, I would have to ice my foot, throw a sock on real fast, shove it into my cowboy boot, and run around park garages and throw myself around. Yeah, so that was fun. [Laughs] We laughed about it afterwards, but it was just hard to get the boot on and off.
They couldn’t shoot around the boot?!
I didn’t want to complain. We’d all been out of work for nine months because of the strike and everything. So I was like, I got it. I’m not going to complain about this. The show finally can go on, and I’m going to go like “Ouch, my toe hurts”? No, thank you! [Laughs]

Hi there! Do you still write Jesse Katsopolis x reader? If so, I would love to request one! Maybe one where reader and Jesse are in an established relationship-she and Jesse are spending the night in babysitting Michelle and her friends. One of Michelle’s friends has a huge crush on the reader and doesn’t like Jesse one bit so he spends all night playing silly pranks on Jesse whenever he and the reader are being cute together. Honestly, I’ll read any Jesse x reader prompt you write lmao I love your writing style and I’ve been rewatching Full House and falling in love with Jesse again! Thank you in advance and I apologize if the prompt is silly ❤️

‘Hey Danny,’ Y/N said as she stepped in the front door. She was drenched and given the sound of the rain pounding the street outside it was no wonder why. ‘No bother,’ Danny said helping her out of her long coat so he could hang it up, ‘I’m only due to leave in five minutes anyway.’ ‘Actually, I think you should leave now. I only live 10 minutes away and it took me half an hour to get here the weather’s that bad,’ Y/N said. ‘Are you sure? I mean Jesse’s not home yet it’ll just be you and the kids,’ Danny said. ‘You know I can look after the kids without Jess right?’ Y/N chuckled causing Danny to look at her rather sheepish. ‘Actually, it’s not just my kids,’ Danny said. ‘It’s not? How many are there?’ Y/N said now worried. ‘Oh, only one more. Michelle’s friend Cody from down the street. And Steph and DJ are out for the night so don’t be too worried,’ Danny said. ‘Phew,’ Y/N said. ‘Yeah it’s funny actually,’ Danny said as he started to don his coat, ‘once Michelle found out it was you and Jess babysitting tonight she practically insisted on having her friend round.’ ‘I hope they’re not planning on running amuck,’ Y/N giggled, ‘you know how much of a pushover Jess is when it comes to her.’ ‘Well, that’s why I made sure you were included. He listens to you,’ Danny said. ‘If you think he’ll take my side over his lil munchkin you’re mistaken pal,’ Y/N said just as Michelle and Cody came through from the kitchen.
‘Hi Y/N,’ Michelle said with a smile. ‘Hey guys,’ Y/N replied with a smile as Michelle took a seat on the couch. Cody waved at the woman and then took a seat beside Michelle the two of them instantly knitting their heads together in hushed whispers. ‘Now listen you two I want you to be good tonight,’ Danny said. ‘We will,’ Michelle said. ‘And just because you’re being babysat tonight doesn’t mean the rules are any different,’ Danny reiterated. ‘We know,’ Michelle said. ‘And be nice to Y/N,’ Danny finished. ‘We will,’ Cody said looking at Y/N with a small smile. ‘They know,’ Y/N said, ‘come on you make a move or you will be late.’
Y/N shepherded Danny to the door as he put his coat on in a hurry. He was still rambling as Y/N pushed him out the door. She turned to look at the two young ones on the couch with a smile and said, ‘right who wants to order a pizza?’
The night was going swimmingly. The kids had wanted to watch a movie and eat pizza so Y/N had ordered and they had all curled up on the sofa with the sounds only the sounds of Disney and the rain outside. Michelle had told her all about her day at school. She loved Michelle. Out of all of Jesse’s, her boyfriend, family the littlest Tanner had been the one she was most afraid to meet. But since they had met many months ago the pair of them had been great friends. Michelle had taken a minute to come around to her but eventually, they had both realised that anyone who loved Jesse as much as they did couldn’t be too bad. Cody on the other hand hadn’t said much. Instead spent his time sitting beside Y/N watching her quietly with a smile.
As the credits rolled on the Little Mermaid Y/N sat up properly and stretched reaching out for the plates and the empty pizza boxes on the coffee table. ‘Right,’ Y/N said, ‘you two put something on the TV whilst I clean this place up okay?’
As she stood up and walked to the kitchen Michelle launched herself onto the floor and started chattering away, reaming off TV shows for Cody to choose from. Y/N walked into the kitchen and placed everything on the side as she walked to the fridge. She opened it looking for something to satiate her sweet tooth. As her eyes roved over its contents she felt a pair of arms come around her.
‘Hey,’ Y/N murmured recognising that touch in an instant. ‘Hey,’ Jesse said kissing her neck as his arms squeeze her middle tightly. ‘What time do you call this?’ she said turning around and raising a questioning eyebrow at him. His blue eyes twinkled as he smiled at her. ‘Later than I planned but they needed me at the club,’ he said leaning in to kiss her on the lips, ‘can you forgive me?’ ‘I don’t know,’ she said kissing him back, ‘kiss me again and I’ll start thinking about it?’
Jesse chuckled as their lips met again. Y/N’s arms wrapped around his back her fingers running through his hair as if it was a reflex. Jesse pulled her closer as the two of them got lost in the kiss. Suddenly, reality crashed around them as they heard the sound of a glass being put on the counter.
‘Gross,’ Michelle said as she put her cup down. She and Cody were standing in the kitchen both watching the couple with horrified looks. ‘Hey munchkin,’ Jesse said immediately swinging out of boyfriend and into Uncle mode as he ran over and gave her a hug. She hugged him quickly as Y/N quickly sorted out the debris she had left on the counter feeling red in the face. As she did she noticed Cody watching her with a pout.
‘Uncle Jesse, can we watch who framed Roger Rabbit?’ Michelle said. ‘Sure munchkin,’ Jesse said. ‘I don’t know Jess,’ Y/N said, ‘it’s getting late. I said we should watch TV not another film.’ ‘Please uncle Jesse,’ Michelle said with a pout. Jesse looked between his girlfriend and his niece who were both watching him carefully. ‘How about we watch one more film and then straight to bed? But you gotta promise you’ll go straight to bed okay?’ Jesse said. Michelle punched the air and agreed running back into the other room to set up dragging Cody behind her.
‘Don’t say anything,’ Jesse said as Y/N came to him shaking her head. ‘I wasn’t going to,’ she said as she grabbed hold of his elbow pulling him towards the living room, ‘but I better hold on to you, you know just in case you hit the deck from being such a pushover.’ ‘I am not a pushover,’ Jesse said as they entered the living room where Michelle had already got the titles rolling.
‘Sure you’re not,’ Y/N said. She stopped in her tracks as they reached the couch as she spotted that Cody and Michelle were sitting in the middle of the couch leaving no room for the adults to sit together. Y/N leaned back towards Jesse who had now stopped behind her and whispered, ‘how about you get them to move then?’ ‘Hey guys how about-’ Jesse started though Cody cut him off. ‘You can sit here,’ Cody said patting the seat beside him. ‘Actually buddy-’ Jesse said. ‘Sit down uncle Jesse you’re blocking the TV!’ Michelle said. Y/N chuckled as she sat down next to the younger man, ‘thank you, Cody.’
As Y/N settled down on the opposite side of the couch to her boyfriend she heard a yelp and watched as Jesse leapt up off of the couch spinning around frantically as Cody and Michelle burst into giggles. ‘What’s the matter?’ Y/N said as Jesse started looking at the seat of his pants which was now covered in pizza stains. ‘I sat in pizza!’ Jesse grumbled, ‘and these are my best jeans.’ ‘Just take them off and I’ll throw them in the washer.’
Jesse nodded and headed back to the kitchen Y/N in tow. Once they had disappeared out of sight Michelle and Cody leapt up off the couch and ran to the door making sure the adults were distracted.
‘You’re right,’ Michelle giggled, ‘that was funny.’ ‘I told you,’ Cody said. ‘What else can we do?’ she said. ‘I have an idea,’ Cody whispered. And then the two of them got to work.
‘Right,’ Y/N said coming back into the living room, ‘where were we?’ She came and sat back down next to the kids who were now giggling to one another, ‘what are you two laughing at?’ ‘The movie,’ the pair said in unison. Y/N eyed them suspiciously but accepted their story as she sat back to watch the film.
A couple of minutes later she heard Jesse coming onto the landing. She turned her head to look at him, now dressed in sweatpants, and smiled as he started to descend the stairway but as soon as he was there he was gone. He clattered down the stairs hitting everyone on the way down before landing at the bottom of the stairs in a heap.
‘Damn it,’ Jesse said as he lay at the bottom of the stairs. ‘What the hell happened?’ Y/N said as she rushed to his side. Michelle and Cody climbed up on the couch to look over in fits of giggling. ‘This damn thing,’ Jesse said as he fished a roller skate out from behind him. ‘Are you okay?’ Y/N said helping him up. ‘Yeah,’ he grumbled, ‘knock it off you two.’ ‘But it was funny uncle Jesse!’ Michelle said. ‘She’s not wrong,’ Y/N said earning a scowl from her other half, ‘I’m just saying.’
As she got Jesse to the couch Cody and Michelle climbed down. ‘Why don’t the pair of you go and play in your room?’ Jesse said wincing as he sat down. ‘But you said we could watch a movie!’ Cody protested. ‘Yeah well that was before I almost broke my neck on Steph’s roller skates,’ Jesse said. ‘Jess is right guys,’ Y/N said, ‘go and play in your room okay?’
The pair of them stomped off up the stairs that Jesse had just fallen down as he lay down on the couch. Y/N perched on the seat, ‘are you okay?’ ‘Yeah I just don’t know what happened,’ Jesse said, ‘I moved Steph’s skates this morning.’ ‘Maybe she used them today?’ Y/N said. ‘No, she’s been at her friend’s all day. I dropped her off,’ Jesse said. ‘You think it wasn’t an accident?’ ‘You take a life insurance policy out on me that I don’t know about?’ Jesse laughed. ‘Like anyone would pay money for you,’ Y/N said. ‘Hey I am a catch,’ he smirked. ‘A catch with a bad back,’ Y/N said leaning down to kiss him. He kissed her back his fingers dancing along her chin. ‘Not fair,’ he said as she pulled back out of his reach. ‘Well, we’re still on duty. How about I go and make sure the kids are in bed and then we can continue our movie night…in bed,’ she smiled getting up and heading towards the stairs chuckling as she heard Jesse sigh, ‘have mercy.’
As Y/N made her way upstairs she could hear giggling coming from Michelle’s room which was then followed by a loud scurrying no doubt them leaping into bed. She smiled to herself but as she reached for the door her smile disappeared as all of a sudden there was a crash as water rained down on her.
There was a fit of giggles and the sound of running up the stairs as she realised what had happened. ‘What’s going on here?’ Jesse said immediately bursting out laughing which was joined by Michelle. ‘Jess it’s not funny!’ Y/N said elbowing him. He winced but his mirth didn’t disappear quick enough for her liking. ‘You’re right,’ Jesse said with a smile, ‘Michelle it’s not funny.’ ‘What on earth possessed you to do this?’ Y/N chastised. ‘It was a prank,’ Michelle said. ‘Well, it’s not very nice!’ Y/N grumbled. ‘It was Cody’s idea!’ Michelle said, ‘they all were!’ ‘You agreed!’ Cody said. ‘All?’ Jesse said. ‘Wait was the roller skate your idea too?’ Y/N said looking at the young boy, ‘you know you really could’ve hurt somebody! How could you be so stupid!’ ‘I was just trying to get you to like me!’ he said and then he jumped out of bed and shoved past the two adults who were standing in the doorway. ‘What the-’ Y/N started but Jesse cut her off. ‘I think I know what’s going on. I’ll sort it,’ Jesse said and he quickly turned around and followed him out the door. Jesse left the room and headed to the bathroom and knocked on the door gently.
‘Go away,’ Cody said as the door knob turned and the door opened gently. Jesse stepped into the bathroom to find the young boy sitting on the tiled floor. He sighed and sat down beside him trying to ignore the snotty whimpers coming from the kid.
‘I don’t want to talk to you,’ Cody said. ‘I know,’ Jesse said, ‘you don’t like me right?’
Cody looked at Jesse but he didn’t say anything.
‘Because you like Y/N right? Like, like-like her?’ Jesse said looking at Cody’s face. It was red now and his eyes were bloodshot. He nodded. ‘I just wanted her to like me,’ he admitted dropping his gaze as he fiddled with the bath mat underneath them both. ‘Hey, I get it, man. Sometimes love makes us guys a bit nuts,’ Jesse said, ‘my first week around her I could barely speak. I wanted her to like me so bad.’ ‘How did you do it?’ Cody asked perking up a little. ‘Well I’ll tell you how not to,’ he said looking at Cody who looked at him his eyes wide egging him on, ‘Pranking me? That’s not going to work.’ ‘Why not it made her laugh?’ Cody argued. ‘Yeah, but it can go wrong. Someone could get hurt,’ Jesse said. ‘So how did you get Y/N to like you?’ Cody asked. ‘I was myself. I try to make her happy. I make sure my hair looks amazing every day,’ Jesse chuckled bumping his shoulder on the boys. ‘So if I do all that she’ll like me?’ ‘Yeah,’ Jesse said, ‘but I gotta ask that you don’t.’ ‘Why?’ Cody replied. ‘Because there’s no way I can compete with you,’ Jesse said.
Cody seemed to mull it over for a moment and then he nodded. ‘Fine,’ he said as he stood up, ‘I think I’ll get Michelle to like me instead.’

Hi
Before I get into this I need to lay some warnings and where this came from. This piece is incredibly personal and therapeutic for me. It’s also incredibly self indulgent and directly takes from my life currently. I’m 30, struggling with finding steady income, lots of sexual trauma, relationship trauma, PTSD, PCOS, depression, anxiety, and just a slew of other things. I’ve been questioning why I’m struggling to date and why I have a hard time with intimacy. And it is because I have been SA’d and r*p*ed. Opening up is very difficult and it’s something I’ve been coming to terms with. I’ve been really having a hard time just being alive so please read this carefully. I definitely have this for the 25+ crowd but if you relate to this at all please know you’re not alone. I love you and I’m here for you and hope you get the help you need.
Pairing: Tsukishima Kei x fem!reader
Warnings: post time skip, female reader, implied mention of previous SA, struggle with trauma, very self indulgent, depression, anxiety, mental health problems

The credits roll on the screen in front of you, the music becoming less exciting as the font and names get smaller. Your eyes are glued to the jumble of letters in front of you, trying your hardest to avoid the jumble of words stuck in your throat. You twiddle your thumbs as the man next to you sighs again and lowers the volume.
“I know you didn’t invite me over to watch “Clue” in revered silence.”
You mumble and circle in on yourself. “I said some of my favorite quotes when they happened…”
Your best friend rolls his eyes before turning you around gently to face him. He runs a hand through his blond tufts before attempting to get up. “Well pipsqueak, I’m glad I got to watch this movie but I have practice tomorrow morning so-“
You feel your stomach drop and you instinctively reach out for his wrist. Your eyebrows furrow in worry as your mouth dries up as the words flutter away. “I… please don’t go.”
Tsukishima eases his stance and sits back down on the couch with you and rests his chin in his hand. A call knowing yet gentle smirk adorns his face as he relaxes again. “Again I ask, why did you invite me over? I know it wasn’t to just watch this movie with me. You’ve got plenty of other options.” He sits back with another sigh, resting his head against the top of the sofa. With a slight disgruntled scoff, he softly asks, “what about that guy who gave you his number? I’m sure he’d wanna spend time with you.” You miss the way his body language shifts beside you, his arms crossed tighter than usual as your mind floods with racing thoughts.
You rub at your shoulders before resting your feet back on the cold floor. “I, I can’t do it. I can’t go out with him.”
Tsukishima tilts his head toward you, maneuvering to face you. “He wasn’t a creep was he? I always thought your taste in men was disturbing.”
“It’s not that!”
The words roar out of your mouth faster than your brain can catch up. Your hands grip the fabric of the couch, your fingers digging into it as a means to stabilize yourself. “It’s, it’s me okay? I’m the problem!” You find yourself standing up with all the energy bubbling through you. “I want intimacy, I crave it! But the minute it’s brought up to me as an option…I panic!” Your voice raises in volume and pitch as you begin to pace back and forth in front of the television. Tsukishima watches you with bated breath as he watches your expression change as your thoughts run amuck.
“I can’t,” you huff, “I can’t open up all those wounds of m-my past, a-and the trauma I’ve endured! I have to reintroduce myself all over again! And so what if they’re nice? I don’t know them, I don’t trust them. They could hurt me and I wouldn’t know because I don’t know them!
“What if they’re just like every other guy I’ve been with or loved, huh? What if, what if they just tell me all of these things to get to my body. What then, Kei?” Your shoulders begin to shake as sobs rack your form. Warm tears cascade down your cheeks as you haphazardly rub at them. Your best friend watches you carefully, his hands molded together to hold in his own feelings. As much as he enjoys being the one you vent to, he’s unsure how to care for you. All he wants to do at this moment is hug you and take away your fears and anxieties. But he knows too well that you don’t need someone to fix things for you. He quickly blinks away tears that threaten to leave the corner of his eyes.
“How am I supposed to put myself out there when I’ve done that and have been hurt, and rejected, and lied to at every turn? They’ll say everything I want to hear and then say I just wanna fuck you. Is that all I’m good for? A good fuck and no commitments? I’m not good enough to be committed to.”
Tsukishima grinds his teeth and digs his nails into his knees.
“And then! And then, the idea that I have to constantly keep working on myself to be ready to date…but how long will that take? And I can’t say I want to fall in love because I’m seen as desperate. It’s worse cause I’m over 25 and you know that. If no one wants me now then who will? I just wanna fall in love and be taken care of and take care of someone. Am I too traumatized for that? Am I-“
“Enough!”
You’re interrupted from your tirade as your stomach drops. You hear flesh slap against the couch and the sound of your best friend stomping over to you. He takes your hands in his, lifting them over your head and walks you back to an empty patch of wall and presses you against it. His breathing is ragged as he stares down at you, his golden hues dilated as he takes in all of you.
“If they do that to you, then fuck those guys. They don’t deserve you.” He takes a second to catch his breath as his grip on you loosens for him to fix his glasses. “I know you’re scared. And it’s okay to be scared. Your feelings,” a free hand traces your face before cupping it gently, “are valid. How long have you known me?” He waits for your response and finds you struggling with your words. “Look at me when I’m talking to you.”
You finally look up at him teary-eyed and find yourself getting butterflies in your stomach. “If you don’t want to open up and go on a date then don’t. Don’t force yourself to do something just because you think you should. You’re as bad as Tadashi.”
You pout at his accusation that shockingly lifts your spirits a bit. You don’t let go of his hand and continue to gaze into his eyes. “But I’m a hypocrite,” you whine, “how can I crave intimacy but be scared of it?”
“Because assholes decided to take advantage of you and violated you. That has nothing to do with you. That’s all on them. What happened to you, what those guys did:
“It’s not your fault.”
You start to cry again, understanding the deeper meaning behind his words as your back relaxes against the wall. You feel his rough yet gentle finger wipe away your tears. Tsukishima then brings you into a comforting hug, rubbing at your back to calm your crying. “I wish,” he starts, “I wish I could have done something to help. I’m here now, but pipsqueak,” his voice shakes with a tremor, “fuck I’m here, okay?”
You nod against his chest as your breathing has calmed down a bit more. “I,” you say muffled, “I don’t wanna…”
“You don’t have to, alright?”
You look up from the hug at his unsaid confession and are met with his flushed cheeks. “Kei, what do you…?”
Tsukishima bites his lip as he releases you from his embrace. “Stupid, I’m saying you don’t have to open up to anyone else. Because you have me. And no more going on dates, that’s what I’m here for.” You hurriedly wipe away at your face as your jaw remains open. Is he saying what you think he’s saying?
You cough a bit at his unsaid confession and you suddenly feel way more nervous. “Can we,” you shyly begin, “keep cuddling? I, uh, like when you hug me…”
Tsukishima calmly kisses your cheek before leading you to the couch.
“Anything my girlfriend wants, she gets.”

Chapter Five:
You could barely pay attention to the hero documentary that Bakugo had put on, too aware of how close the two of you were now. This was such a bad idea, you should have come up with an excuse to go to bed early. You hated how good it felt to be next to him, to feel his body so close to yours. You fiddled with your hands in your lap, all you wanted to do was lean into him and enjoy the closeness but you knew you couldn’t. You had put both boys in the friend zone and there was no crossing that line. But as the movie progressed you could feel your restraint diminishing. All you wanted to do was turn and kiss the heck out of him, to know what his hair felt like while pulling it, how he tasted. You didn’t even notice that Bakugo had paused the movie, too distracted by your own thoughts running amuck.
“Y/n? Are you even watching the movie?” He asked, turning his upper body to face you more. He couldn’t believe how beautiful you were, even if you were lost in your head. You looked so innocent looking up at him, mouth slightly parted. His gaze drifted from your eyes, down to your lips and then back up. You both were toeing a line, that if crossed, could change everything. Consequences be damned, he fucking wanted you and he wasn’t sure if he could wait much longer. You two were barely an inch apart now, waiting to see who’d cave first, who’d make the first move. A whisper of a whine escaped your mouth as he pressed his forehead to yours, tender despite all the dirty thoughts running through his mind right now. He could feel the heat of your breath against his lips and he knew he couldn’t hold back anymore.
Barely moving he connected your lips in a tender kiss. It was slow and sensual, something you’d never expect from him. He took his time kissing you gently. He wanted to make this last, unsure when he’d have the chance to do this again. It was when one of your hands grasped his hair that he started to kiss you harder. You moaned into his mouth as his tongue found its way into your mouth. The kiss quickly became heated and desperate, both of you couldn’t get enough of each other. You didn’t even bother trying to battle for dominance, knowing full well you wouldn’t win. You didn’t want to win to be honest, you wanted him in control. He wrapped his arms around your midsection and lifted you onto his lap, settling you to straddle his thighs. One of his arms reached up and grabbed your neck, tilting your head and deepening the kiss, as his other hand snuck under your dress, his hand kneading the fat of your ass. He groaned into your mouth as you felt him buck his hips up, hard cock pressing into your barely clothed core. You could feel how drenched you were, surely leaving evidence on his sweats. There was no time to feel embarrassed as you pressed yourself closer to him, rocking your hips slowly. Moans and gasps escaped your throat as you continued to drag yourself back and forth against him. You could feel how big he was, length and girth far beyond anything you’d ever felt or seen. Denki was long but that was it, nothing too special about him.
“You’re rubbing on me like a bitch in heat.” He mumbled against your lips. His dirty words had you moaning into his mouth and moving your hips faster. You couldn’t remember the last time someone kissed you with such passion and god, he was so good at kissing. And it's almost as if thinking about his talented mouth snapped you out of the mind blowing bliss that had fogged your mind. You quickly put your hands on his chest and pushed yourself back. Frustrated by this, Bakugo was quick to start placing sloppy kisses along your neck, gripping your ass harder. You pushed against him harder and wriggled yourself out of his hold.
“We can’t do this. Oh god, this was a mistake. I’m- I- c-can’t. I need to go to bed.” You didn’t even wait for Bakugo’s response, your heart was pounding as you rushed into the spare room. What had you been thinking? Making out with Bakugo? How far would you have let him take it? You didn’t even want to think about it now, tears filling your eyes. He was with Ochako and you just fucked that up. It was a mistake though, he could easily fix things with her. Yeah, he could just explain that it was your fault! You came onto him and he put a stop it it. But he hadn’t, you had. Why did he let it go so far? No, you couldn’t think or dwell on that. Fuck, how could you have been so stupid? You’d been doing so good all night, up until he had to go and look at your lips. You let out a frustrated sigh and threw yourself face down on the bed. Maybe you could just pretend it never happened? It’s probably what he’s going to want. Your face heated up as you recalled the kiss, gently touching your lips. You wished you didn’t have to forget about it,you wished you didn’t have to pretend you didn’t enjoy it. Fuck, what a disaster.
Back in the living room, Bakugo was sitting in the same position you had left him, wondering where the fuck he had gone wrong. He saw how your body reacted to him, he felt how you matched the passion, so why did you pull back? Why did you push him away and run off? A mistake? That hurt. He knew he shouldn’t be blaming for you rejecting him, seeing as you’re going through a messy breakup but fuck, he’d be lying to say that didn’t cut deep. You wanted to forget about a kiss that good? He poured his goddamn heart and soul into that kiss and he could tell you did too. He could fucking feel it, and now you wanted to just forget about it? Fine, sooner or later you’d realize you were wrong but for now he’d play it your way. He could pretend it didn’t happen, hell he could pretend he didn’t even like you. Bakugo didn’t do feelings, he’s never done feelings so why start now? He didn’t care if he was letting anger cloud his judgment.
By the time the morning rolled around, Bakugo’s anger never diminished. He was dead set on making you feel as bad as he felt. When you entered the kitchen with your early morning greeting, he grunted and left the room. All morning all you got was either a grunt or a one word answer. Was he mad at you for last night? Did he regret it that much? Whatever, this is what you wanted but it still hurts to have him treating you like you’re just some stranger. You didn’t have much time to ponder it, as Kirishima arrived just as Bakugo left, muttering a good morning to Kiri and then leaving. He came into the kitchen and gave you a questioning look.
“Don’t ask me, he woke up like that.” You turned your attention back to the pancakes you were making. You’d gotten up earlier so you could make them for Bakugo but clearly that wasn’t happening. “Grab me some chocolate chips? I’ll make your favorite”
“You’re the best.” His voice was a lot closer than you had expected, as he set the bag of chocolate chips down next to you, then moved behind you. He gently wrapped his arms around your midsection, bent slightly and rested his face in the crook of your neck. This felt far too intimate but something told you he needed this. With one hand flipping the pancakes, you ran the other over his forearm, hoping to ease whatever was on his mind. “Sorry, rough night” He said as he turned his head, his lips grazing your skin as he spoke. Fuck, his lips felt so good on you. Tired Kirishima always became super needy and affectionate. You’d never seen him this bad before though, just the occasional hug or head kiss. This felt like a whole different level. He stood behind you and held you the entire time you cooked, not saying another peep. You have to admit, you could get used to this. The affection warmed your heart, never having someone be this touchy and open with you. Not even Denki had held you like this before. Denki had always been about PDA, as if he had something to prove. But behind closed doors, he wasn’t nearly as affectionate. Never tender touches or kisses. His end game was always sex, nothing less. After placing the last pancake onto the plate, you reached down and covered Kirishima’s hands with yours.
“Breakfast is done.” You whispered, not wanting to ruin this moment with him. You felt him nod into the crook of your neck and let out a long content sigh. He placed a couple barely there kisses to your neck and then finally pulled away from you. You busied yourself by evenly plating the pancakes, grabbing some syrup and taking it to the kitchen table. Kirishima just stood back and watched how flustered and nervous you were now. That was a good thing, right? He thought to himself. That means you obviously feel something towards him, there's at least something there for him to work with. Even if it was something small, it could grow. He had told himself from day one that he wasn’t going to try anything on you, but that proved to be increasingly difficult as the days went on. He went out of his way so much to take care of you during the few weeks you were nothing more than a shell. He felt protective of you now, it took everything in him not to punch Denki again. But you were so brave and didn’t need saving. He admired that about you, and how far you’d come from three weeks ago. He took a spot at the kitchen table and watched as you shyly sat down next to him. You both ate your breakfast in silence, him pondering your reactions and you worrying about how Bakugo was acting. A ding from your phone broke the silence, grabbing it, you read the message that Mina had sent you. She was asking if you wanted to go out for drinks, just you and her. It was easy to assume that she’d found out about what had happened but you just assumed she’d be on Denki’s side. You felt bad for thinking that though, Mina had been nothing but a good friend to you, of course she’d still want to see you. You quickly sent off a reply, deciding it might be nice to actually get out and clear you head, far away from both boys. Once you both were done eating, Kirishima cleared the table and started on the dishes.
“Thank you.” You said, giving him a quick kiss on the cheek and rushing off into the spare room before he had a chance to reply. You didn’t know why you kept doing these small things, all you were doing to yourself was confusing your heart. It had to stop, you needed to cut it out.
You spent the majority of your day in the spare room, not really wanting to face anyone. Bakugo hadn’t come back yet, you weren’t even sure where he had run off too. Glancing at the clock, you noticed it was already 7pm and you only had an hour to get ready. You hadn’t been out to club in so long, you weren’t really sure what to expect. Standing in front of the closet, you scanned your clothes looking for something appropriate to wear. There you are, you thought to yourself as you spotted the little black dress you always wore out, it always gaining the most attention. Grabbing it off the hanger, you tossed it on your bed and rushed to the bathroom to put some makeup on. Nothing too fancy, just some eyeliner and mascara, not feeling the need to get completely done up. Hearing your phone ping from the spare room, you looked over your face and hair and decided it would have to do. Once back in the spare room, you grabbed your phone and opened the text from Mina. You had roughly 15 minutes to get dressed and find shoes, before she’d arrive. Cursing Mina for being early, you quickly unstressed and slipped the small black dress on. The dress cling to you like a second skin, hugging your curves. The neckline was deep, showing off an ample amount of cleavage. This was sure to be a head turner, maybe you could even go home with someone tonight. You grabbed your small black purse and slipped on a pair of chunky black heels and headed towards the front door.
“Oh hey-“ The rest of the words died on Kirishima’s tongue as he took in your appearance. You looked absolutely stunning, he couldn’t peel his eyes away even if he wanted.
“I’m heading out to a club with Mina tonight! Don’t wait up!” You rushed out and then you were gone. Kirishima was left sitting on the couch in awe. Snapping out of it, he immediately grabbed his phone. You looked too fucking good and he couldn’t get the image of you out of his head. Jealousy deeper into his veins as he thought about all the male attention you were guaranteed to get tonight. He didn’t like the thought of other people looking you at you like that. He didn’t want other people to look at you like that. He quickly texted Mina, asking what club they were going to, saying he’d pick y/n up at the end of the night. That wasn’t the plan though, he needed to be there, he needed to make sure you didn’t go home with anyone. He knew it wouldn’t count and just be a rebound but the thought of you with someone else mad him unbelievably angry. It was rare for him to get mad or upset, but he just couldn’t stand the idea of another man touching you. Receiving a text back, he quickly sprung up from the couch, grabbing his keys and heading out. He’d watch from afar, make sure you were safe. Yeah, he wouldn’t let you know he was there unless absolutely necessary.

I have this silly little time traveler!reader AU in my brain and I think that Eddie could not handle it. For reference, TT!Reader is from our time and got shot back to the 80s unexpectedly. This is also assuming that the whole time paradox thing and serious implications of time travel don’t apply here.
Eddie tries so so hard to teach her how to drive stick. He’s also mean about it and you and Eddie end up wanting to strangle each other after you stall his van for a third time.
I’m sorry but I was born in the era where VHS tapes were being phased out and I had more DVDs than VHS’s. I can imagine Eddie handing you one and telling you to rewind it and getting absolutely flabbergasted when you look at it confusedly.
He is equally as confused when he asks you about your Walkman and you just hold up your lil iPhone with your AirPods in. He thinks you came straight out of an episode of The Jetsons and cannot fathom how Bluetooth works. You then have to explain to him that you can also use the internet and it sparks a whole conversation about the societal impact of social media and you basically have to do an in-depth thesis about modern life to him. (I’m also aware that there’s no cell towers yet so nothing would probably work but he’d be like a baby with an iPad. Just so intrigued that it can scan your face and that you can TOUCH GLASS AND MANIPULATE IT LIKE WITCHCRAFT)
Sorry but I don’t think anyone from Gen Z would be all that phased by anything happening in the upside down. We’ve lived through several major historical events in our lifetime and an alternate dimension isn’t even that scary.
What would be scary, however, is his reaction when you explain the state of the world today and “HOW can people just leave their kids unattended to run amuck around town with no means of communication?”
Arguing with Eddie about metal would be absolutely hilarious though. Like just getting on his nerves like, “You think Dio is hard? Wait a couple years. You get Cannibal Corpse.” And he goes absolutely nuts.
In the same turn, you would also get under his skin by arguing which album is better. “The Master of Puppets album is the best album yet” he would say, to which you reply, “I don’t know… Garage Inc. was a pretty solid one” and he would stomp and do his shimmy and throw his tantrum because “IT DOESN'T COUNT IF IT'S NOT OUT YET.”
Arguing with Eddie about what music to play and he calls your music stupid and just tearing him apart by calling Metallica “divorced dad rock”.
Constantly having to remind him that you’re not from that far into the future and his belongings are not ancient relics and you’re not entirely clueless about life in the 80s. He’s genuinely surprised you understand his music and pop culture references.
Dropping cryptic little tidbits just to freak him out, like watching something devastating on the news channel and going, “hm. Bradbury was right.” And going about your day while him and Wayne look at each other in the most terrified way possible.
Being CONSTANTLY bombarded with questions from the entire group. You feel like a human history book most of the time. Eddie almost has to drag Dustin away from you. “Yes DnD is still a thing. They have a classroom curriculum for it now.” “Yes I’ve heard of LOTR. There’s movies now.” “All of the drugs Ozzy did are catching up to him now.” “If you think an Atari is cool just wait until you see an oculus”
No one understand a singular vine or tiktok reference ever. “What do you mean they were roommates?” “Wait you took HOW MUCH Adderall?”
I 100% have a lot more to this and maladaptive daydream to this scenario constantly. If this does well I’ll probably write more about it.

Whattt I just read the Mr and Mrs Smith thing and I loved it it was so frkn good!! love the movie too . It made me think of Tony and Peppers dynamic so if you'll like an au could we get the girl Friday thing where Stevie is more of an idiot than usual, they are pretty smart as individuals but they both share one brain cell when they're together still she puts out all his fires I think it'll be nice to have someone do that for Steve as opposed to Steve always doing that for ppl.
CEO!Steve x assistant!reader (see series)
This got way longer than I intended, but it took everything in me to minimize this to a one-shot (well that f***ing escalated! It's a three-parter now). 😂 Warnings for zero editing and drinking. Non-powered, modern AU btw. This part is ~2.5k
Eighty-Third Time's the Charm (1 of 3 yeah, yeah, it's 4 + a 5pt follow up now, haha, joke's on me): WORK
Steve’s been the logistic coordinator for Stark Industries since Tony took over for Howard. Howard hired Steve to acquire and transport materials for his early projects, and Steve’s own business grew from there. He now handles most of the further distributors for Stark Tech across the globe, and you’re his secretary.
Assistant.
Right hand.
Ok, well, maybe both of Steve’s hands and his mouth because his brain is already doing ninety things at any given moment. He needs a lot of help, and that takes time. Unreasonably lengthy amounts of time that can (and do frequently) span more than the average working and waking day.
You’re happy to do it. You love the work. It’s a challenge in quantity, not quality, and most of the men (because it is almost entirely men) who you deal with are happy to do as they are told when you smile and make them feel heard.
Really, the only challenge is to smile that much in person and on video calls. You never thought you’d be so excited to handle something by email every now and again.
Trip #83 with Steve Rogers takes you both three days overnight to a big city not far from where you grew up. You even have a few school friends who live in town, and you’ve made very tentative plans to see an old high school flame if the schedule permits, which it just barely seems to as the clock inches past 6:37.
Those 7 o’clock drinks can’t pour themselves fast enough.
In your hotel room, you’ve just shed the professional pant suit for light, breezy dress (something both easy to wear and easy to pack) and are in the process of typing out a confirmation of the restaurant when the call waiting comes up.
Steve.
“Hey, where is the contract for Sauters’?”
“We confirmed it all with them before the flight here, boss. Why—“
“I want the language changed to reflect payment before they take possession. They’re delinquent again. I’m not gonna allow them to keep profiting off of our efficiency while they sit with a thumb up their butts.”
“Sir, it really would be more impactful if you just said asses. I don’t think your mum is going to hunt you down for that.”
“Absolutely not. Ok, room 1512, bring the copy and patch in legal.”
“Wait, boss, I—“
The boop boop boop lets you know you’ve been hung up on, and you’re about to pass the feeling on to cute Jimmy from fourth period senior english. Damn. You rewrite the text and send your apologies.
Steve’s all in a flourish, head run amuck with little things to change here and there in the 26-page agreement. It all takes another three and a half hours. He had room service delivered, has poured you both a splash of something from the mini bar, and finally, finally sits down and looks at you.
“What is that,” he blurts.
It takes a moment to figure out what he means.
“A dress, sir. I…I was…I’d made plans for drinks with a friend.”
“Here?”
“I grew up about an hour away, yeah.”
He swirls his drink around, not admitting—though it’s painfully clear—that he had no idea you weren’t from New York. He looks at his watch for the first time all day.
“Ah, I suppose apologies are in order for…” He waits for his bait to catch.
“Jim,” you slowly add. “Don’t worry. I let him know the instant you called. I’ve met you. I knew how this would go.”
How much of this scotch did you sip all at once? You don’t normally talk to Steve—Mr. Rogers— like that, but he seems good and chastised for a moment, draining his tumblr in one go and returning to the bar.
“Well, I can’t replace Jim—“ he spikes the name with sharp tone you’ve never heard before “—but I can offer you a drink here.” His gaze, once it finds yours after dragging up your legs, is expectant and intent. It’s the first time he’s ever waited for an answer from you that he didn’t already know before asking.
It’s also the first time you aren’t quite sure you understand what Steve is asking. Eighty-three trips in and countless hours with the man, and this is the least prepared you’ve ever felt.
“Already had mine, sir.” You set your empty glass down on the small table between you. “We have a long day tomorrow, or rather, I do, but I’ll be sure to inform you when the Sauters are settled.”
It’s just instinct to smooth the front of your dress when you stand, but the rake of Steve’s eyes forced down you by the move completely throws you.
“I’m sorry you wasted an outfit,” he adds, quietly, too low and deep to not sharply flame a heat that sparks out of nowhere in your gut.
“Right.” You gather up your things. “No great loss. It’ll keep. If that’ll be all, boss?”
When your eyes return across the room, Steve’s standing there with an empty little bottle still tilted over his glass. He’s just staring, lost in thought about god-knows-what.
“Get some sleep,” he mutters absently.
“Of course.”
You pour your own drink from your room’s mini bar and take a long bath. You’ve been up since 5am in order to get you and Mr. Rogers to the airport in time. That’s what you blame your runaway thoughts on. You do everything for that man. You know practically everything about that man. You know that he hasn’t gone on any sort of social date in at least seven months (a fact even his mother calls to remind you of), and you know that Tony takes him out to gentleman’s clubs and has women serve them at all their joint business dealings.
You have literally sat beside Pepper Potts and joked about this while watching Tony get a lap dance and Steve chat up a waitress. Why your mind still entertains those thoughts after all you know is beyond human understanding, and after a day like today, you can hardly categorize yourself as human.
You need the rest for sure.
Tumblr media
You’re already back on the phone by breakfast time, consuming strong tea and a croissant bite-by-bite while the American Capsules’ legal discusses the changes with SauterCorp’s legal.
Line-by-fucking-line.
You knew this would happen. It’s why you told them to start early. Of course, the team members you are on the phone with are different ones from last night because those folks worked late and are off work to make up for the overtime. You’re breathing in the smell of your drink with closed eyes like it’ll mainline the caffeine up your sinuses to your brain.
When you open your eyes, Steve’s pulling out the chair in front of you, ordering his own breakfast and motioning for a fresh pot of tea. He says nothing while you work.
Plates of food arrive and Steve reads the paper, glancing up every so often when you write a note to yourself about a follow-up after the call. After a while, he pushes a plate of scrambled eggs towards you and flips over a fork for you to take. He doesn’t take no for an answer, but since the call is finally wrapping up, you oblige and wolf down a few bites before typing out an email of your notes.
Steve asks a few questions of his own while refreshing both cups of tea and not bothering to offer sugar for yours. You…weren’t aware he knew that about you.
Until the car comes in an hour to get you to your next meeting, there’s nothing on the agenda, but you fully expect Steve to cram in a breakdown of the afternoon. Instead, he sips tea and folds the paper round and round until he’s done with all his interesting bits. You get to people watch, pedestrians outside the floor to ceiling windows of the hotel’s café bustling past in both directions.
Your attention is brought back when the table is cleared off, but Steve is no longer focused on the paper or the people. He sits and watches you again.
You smile as politely as you can even though you feel pinned down in the stare. “We better get going,” you advise, packing your things away.
Steve does put down his cup but doesn’t move otherwise.
“It’s your color.” He squints just slightly at his own revelation, relaxing back into his chair. “The dress.”
You have to swallow and clear your throat at that. “Yes, I suppose it’s one of my favorite colors.”
“It suits you.”
There’s no irony. Steve simply looks at you, blinks, looks some more, and it’s like you accidentally sat down naked in the lobby. His blue eyes are just that piercing.
“Thank you,” you say out of habit more than understanding and hurry on with the day.

It pours down rain for most of the afternoon, drenching your shoes as you traipse back and forth to the car with Steve. You have an umbrella, but nothing stops the puddles invading.
“I can’t do this,” you finally snap on the way back to the hotel. You’re on the verge of tears. The sides of your leather heels have rubbed the back of one ankle and the top outside of the other foot raw, almost/possibly bloody. It takes effort to peel them off your skin, and you hiss in pain.
Steve sits across the backseat completely horrified.
“I know, I’m so sorry. I’ll put them back on—“
Steve puts a hand out to stop you.
“Driver,” he calls, “is there a first aid kit back here? No, no, we just need a few bandaids.” The reassurance cuts off panic from the front, and after the click of the glove compartment sounds, a small box is offered through the window. Steve thanks him.
“I can do it, sir. Please don—“
That stare pins you again, and there’s dead silence in the back while your boss rips open a few wipes, cleans the blistered skin, dabs antibiotic ointment on the broken parts, and smooths the coverings overtop. You can’t help but notice how tender his touch is, but he’s just being thoughtful. It doesn’t mean anything.
As Steve returns to his seat (after it feels like a struggle to break eye contact), he gets a call.
His friend Bucky Barnes is in town, too, on a quick layover before a transatlantic flight and long business trip. The two don’t get to talk as much as they’d like, and you know they don’t see each other very often either.
“Of course, we’ll do dinner, Buck. Name the place.”
We will do what now?
You start waving your hands and miming towards your feet.
Steve eyes you a second. “No, right, I will meet you there in—driver, how long is it to Chinatown from the hotel? Yeah, so about an hour from now? Excellent.”
You might have interpreted that wrong. He meant ‘we’ as in him and Bucky, no doubt. In case he didn’t though…
“Shall I call and make reservations for you two?”
“He’s handling it. Traveling with a few associates who know the area and the restaurant.”
“It’s a good one. You can dress down there.”
Steve offers a ghost of a smile as he looks down at his layers of clothing, pondering. He glances at your bandaged feet and looks like he’ll say something before shucking off his coat, and then his suit jacket, and then his vest.
Without a word, you hold out your arm to take the unnecessaries back upstairs.
“You don’t have to,” Steve all but whispers.
He’s never questioned using your service. Ever. He tosses the clothes onto the back-facing seats across the car and undoes the first two buttons beneath his tie. The car stops at the entrance just as he pulls the tie loose.
Shoes in one hand, briefcase slung over your shoulder, you sigh loudly and hold out your hand again very close to his face.
Steve drapes the tie across your palm.
“Have a good dinner, sir.”
You collect the rest and walk in barefoot. You don’t look back.
