When transformation rises from the depths, does it come from the stars or an inner call from the subconscious?

There is a fine line between astro-inspired and astro-activated.

The content here at “I Shall Be” arises from experiences and curiosities over the last seven years or so. It’s a journey of becoming, yes, but it also coincides with Pluto transiting the last degrees of my first house, rumbling most of my Natal planets into a transformed identity.

This coincides with the US Pluto Return, and it is safe to say that this content was inspired by that transit. Safe, and also an oversimplification.

Obviously, with the planet changing signs, this is a Pluto-themed year for many of us. Additionally, in the US, we’re still in orb of our nation’s first Pluto Return, so all American, including myself, are feeling that somewhere in their lives. Personally, I have the South Node transiting my Natal Pluto in my tenth house—it’ll only benefit me to find a way to work with this energy publicly, which is part of why I’m committed to this project.

But I am beginning to wonder if this approach to astrology is misguided. I’ve seen many astrologers speak of the US Pluto Return the same way weather forecasters speak of natural disasters, such as a hurricane approaching shore: “This force is unstoppable. Here is where we think it might land, but no one knows for sure. Evacuate if you can; batten down the hatches if you can’t. We’ll see what survives.”

This may be indeed be accurate, but I think this fear may be a distraction.

What if the US Pluto Return is really an invitation for each citizen to change their relationship to their nation?

For example, natally, I have a Moon-Chiron stellium conjunct the US’s Mars placement. Throughout most of my life, I have been deeply triggered by the actions of my nation, particularly from its men.

But in the half decade or so, I have learned to look past what pains me about the individuals. Instead, I started to ask myself, “What scars are causing these troubling actions?”

I have learned some interesting things, and I’ll eventually circle back to astrology to share more on this.

First, I want to focus on the scars I’ve noticed, embedded in our culture.

🪻✨Capricorn risings are very full of themselves to be honest. They have an overall pleasant reputation and are loved (Libra 10th+Cancer 7th) but for some reason they're actually very individualistic and conceited deep down, like they think of themselves as being 'on other level' than others. Idk Aquarius placements are the most chill and unproblematic people I know and typically don’t make any fuss out of their “quirks” or opinions, they’re just living and vibing them on their own. Geminis on the other hand are the chaotic manic pixie girls/boys or the mad scientists with the most random and out of pocket interests and ideas. They always be leaving me like ‘wtf are you talking about?🤨’ They’re also opinionated af and will jump into controversy pretty easily.

🪸✨Oh! And Geminis are WAAAAAAAAYYY more detached than aquarius dude. Geminis are air AND mutable, for them it is extremely easy to move on and detach from things

🪻✨All the people I've met who's had cosmetic procedures done (botox, plastic surgery, fillers, etc) always had libra placements and/or Neptune aspecting the ASC. Overall Venus and Neptune influence is big in people who wanna look like a glossy instagram filter

🪸✨Chiron in the 6th house are HUGE control freaks due to feeling like reality overwhelms them too much, they feel like their life is never sorted out. They are also the type to overwork themselves with pointless things or hyper fixate on short-term goals cause it gives them a sense of control

🪸✨Scorpio Moon men I’ve noticed are attracted to a woman who is a bit cold, mean or is not easy to get to her because it makes him feel like she can handle him and his intensity. They’ll likely commit to a woman that captures his heart in such a way that he knows she can potentially hurt him more than he can hurt her. Deep down they wanna be the softer one in the relationship cause they’re a water moon after all

🪻✨I personally never had any 2nd house synastry relationship that actually involved money (except for business relationships ofc). Instead people who had planets falling in my 2nd house always make me feel like a million bucks frfr 🥺 They made it clear that they valued my opinion, my talents, qualities etc (essentially they valued all I had to offer which is 2nd house themes) and also made me feel like they favored me in many ways, like I'm a part of their top priorities, one of their 'faves' and wouldn't let me go easily. The fifth house in astrology is associated with creativity, pleasure and children. It's also the house of good fortune, basically all the good and fun things in life that excites your inner child.

By looking at our fifth house we can understand how our children are like or how they are going to be like in the future when we have them.

What to look for:

For this, check your 5th House, and it's ruling planet. Then check what sign the ruling planet is in, then check what that sign is ruled by.

For example, I have Aries 5th House (Aries is ruled by Mars). My Mars is in Pisces. Pisces is ruled by Jupiter, therefore my two children significators are Mars and Jupiter. So I will read about Aries, Pisces, but also pay close attention to Scorpio and Sagittarius. Since these four signs are most likely to be present in the big three of my children, and along with that, Aries, specifically (my fifth house sign) will tell me about their core personalities.

Here are the signs and their rulers:

As kids, they are likely to take charge of their activities and would want to go into something with full force. They are also likely to be very impulsive and might ask super unfiltered questions. So yes, even though these kids need to be monitored 24/7 as toddlers, you can always give them hobbies so that you can catch a breath! Taurus in 5th House

♠️Ironically, with the notes above, I’ve seen them hurt the most by cancers (also Capricorns are an honorable mention as well but cancers are more tied to emotions so they hit where it hurts more than the caps lmao.) This might have to do with them being ruled by the sun and moon. The sun is bright and full of energy (just like leos), it shines that light onto the moon (leos hyping them up and spreading love and constantly giving their energy to them). The moon reflects the light back whenever shined upon (cancers at first will mirror what energy the Leo’s are giving). Cancers can only do this for so long though, eventually they aren’t able to keep up with it anymore and they show their actually energy which for Leo’s comes out of nowhere and they feel switched up on and betrayed. It takes both a very matured cancer and Leo to be in a healthy relationship/friendship successfully.

♠️Having a 8th house stellium is exhausting y’all but as you get older it will get easier. Not in the way that the things that we are prone to running into stop but in the way that we realize our power more and we won’t feel as exhausted anymore because we know better ways to approach the situations. Charts explained

Natal chart: or as some of you know a birth chart, is literally a blue print of the sky in moment you took your first breath of air, this is why the timing is really important. PAC Pick a Song - What About You Currently Shines Brightest?

Sup y'all, I'm back in time for the start of Leo season with another pick a card reading! The full moon is coming right up and I will likely do a reading for that as well very shortly, but I already had this done the other day and wanted to get it finally posted after much delay!

Below here are three cards to choose from belonging to the now-obsolete board game DropMix. It was a game connected to an app now unfortunately no longer in service, but it allowed the game to play by having chips in the cards activate a code that would send to a phone app to tally points as well as play music. You could pile the different cards together on a jockey board based on color and basically create your own remixes. You could play or make freestyle music. My basic pack has as many cards as the minor arcana + 4, so I thought these would be fun to bring out and work with for the partygoing Leo energy that's budding this late summer.

Pile 1. The Weeknd - Can't Feel My Face

(Okay just a quick note I just gotta let u know that I eventually plan to paint over the Sun card for my only RWS-esque deck because the smiley face creeps me out lol so I put a tiny candle over its haunting face. The Sun is supposed to be a positive card dangit!)

Anyway back to your reading! Right off the bat I feel like you're gonna be shining bright this season no matter how you personally feel about summer, get in the mood and live it up! Light that bonfire. Jump in the pile of autumn leaves. Tap into your senses in the most innocent and playful way. I feel like you shine brightly when you get excited about literally anything in your life, it could be a new brand of coffee or new pair of jeans or something but people like how you react to things. Reminds me of Youtubers who have these funny but authentic personalities as they review random products or whatever.

I feel like you can get so in love with something that you kinda, as the song suggests, "go numb" and let everything else fizzle away from your focus. But the thing to remember is that all those other things are still there even if they don't light you up. It's all about learning to find the sweet spot between really enjoying the moment and being in flow with the best of things while also attending to the gritty details. It doesn't mean you should "go numb" in the other direction by only focusing on practical things. When I see Sun and Moon in the same three card reading I am reminded of Temperance because you're trying to balance two different energies together that are ultimately meant to work together. Manifestation+work, joy+catharsis, reason+instinct, yeah? It's a lot to seesaw back and forth every day but 7 of swords tells me that you find ingenious ways to pull it off. Don't let the shyness snuff the light out, and don't let the egoic sense of duty override your needs.

If you feel like sometimes you have to sneak away to find time to enjoy what makes you shine from the inside, I'm getting guidance for the collective to simply learn how to share a little bit of what you're doing while balancing it with the part of you that wants to protect your creative ideas and work on them. Again, there's a message here about balance. You don't have to spill everything about your life to the first person who asks, but at the same time there will be people who benefit from your fiery energy. Your interests and talents deserve to take up some space, pile 1. I think this pile just shines in general even if you're not always aware of it, even if it's incredibly subtle. It's in the little things.

This pile could be going through some awakening period right now. I know, I know, it may sound cliché with "wake me up inside" as the lyrics, but it occurred to me that the Shield in your card is like this old energy that has been barricading you from material experiences. Like this is a pile who's really already been in the thick of the brambles and is wanting to come out. The Sagittarius arrow sign is in my mind like a flare set off from deep in the woods as if to say, "hey! I'm over here, come find me!" It's being let off in the sky in the hopes of rekindling some sort of lost connection to something, could be a person or to a certain goal. You currently shine brightest when it comes to relating to others, and seeking out positive relationships.

It could be that you've gone through some disrupting experiences that have encouraged you to wall off to self heal. This may have taken a long period of time to work through. I feel that you're moving into a part of the thicket where more light is pouring in from the outside, that you're near the end of a long isolating tunnel. You're entering a phase of your life where you're ready to have connections that feel more solid and real, rather than fairweather friendships. The main issue is that grief and isolation can becomes habits that we may need to temper with in order to allow the new. Maybe abundance is coming a little slow here, as the green color here is blocky. But it's rich like emerald, so once it's found, things will transform in your life radically. But you shine from making the most out of the opportunities that your current or as of yet undiscovered relationships have to offer. You have a lot to offer others as well. I do get a strong teaching role from this pile. Maybe you've thought about going into teaching. I think your students would see you as sensitive and resourceful.

January is Aquarius and 6 months later is July which is Leo season.

February- Pisces + 6 = August Virgo

There’s a lot going on in the sky. The intensity is real. For a full understanding of today’s energies, it would be wise to read yesterday’s forecast as all of those transits are still quite active today. Let’s not forget the conjunction between Jupiter and Uranus either. Just because it was the talk a few days ago, it hasn’t gone away. And won’t for quite some time. Oh yeah, and Mercury is still retrograde.

With all of that said, let’s focus on the star of the day’s energies. The Full Moon in Scorpio taking place this evening. The real intensity behind this lunation is that it’s squaring its ruler, Pluto, the God of the underworld. The Moon is also in its fall in Scorpio. It doesn’t really like being here. If Pluto is squaring the Full Moon, that means that it’s also squaring the Sun on the other side creating a T-square. That’s a lot of tension. Emotions will be quite heightened during this time. We’ll be feeling all the feels, bringing up very dark parts of ourselves. But Full Moons are about letting things go. So do just that, face what’s coming up, address it honestly and move on. Plutonian energy wants you to dig deep, bring it to the surface to face and let it go. The fixed signs will feel this more intensely. That’s Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius. But nobody is off the hook with this one.

There’s a lot of really beautiful energy up ahead, but we have to shed some baggage before we can fully experience it and take advantage of it. Scorpio your 6th house is being highlighted this season of the day to day living the small, micro which affects the macro, take care of the small things and the universe will take care of the big things. The small things being having 3 meals a day, drinking lots of water this will get you over the finish line. Easter weekend brings showers weather rainy days or not literal its a clearing out and washing away of the old which touches onto the full Moon in Libra arriving in your 12th house more things being illuminated and cleared out where you would not have normally seen it. This is in reference to your physical reality and not spiritual or internal reality but it puts the chips in your hands to make the next move.

Sagittarius your 5th house is being highlighted this Aries season alongside your 12th house which is mars ruled, this season you may feel like you want to get back into the gym or fitness, joining a running club, its time to get physical for you, you don’t want to think or plan or feel, you just want to take action and move all the energy in your body.
