7, 38, 21!
!
7 is Franklin Richards. I don’t really ever read stories specifically looking for him, but of course he’s going to appear in Fantastic Four comments no matter how big his role is. The retcon that made him no longer a mutant was recently retconned back out and that issue is a ton of fun. My favorite story with him is probably the short Waid era arc that had him accidentally unleash the villain of it because he was insecure and felt like Reed didn’t love him because he’s not super smart. It’s a fun arc with a really sweet resolution between the two.
21 is Spider-Man. Who I also mostly read as a by product of Fantastic Four comics. My deep seated confession here is that I actually don’t think I’ve ever read a single Spider-Man issue, I’ve only ever read him in FF and Silk. I love his relationship with Johnny though, and the issue of DeFalco’s FF run where he cheers Johnny up with sparring (and causes property damage in the process) is a really nice issue in a run I otherwise have deeply mixed feelings on.
38 is Alan Scott, specifically as Sentinel. Most of his Sentinel appearances I’ve read come from the Kyle Rayner GL run, I love him there. I think taking advantage of the death of the Corps as a rare opportunity to push Alan as a more prominent character and mentor was a smart move and I love his dynamic with Kyle. If his Sentinel and Green Lantern appearances were combined he’d be ranked around where Spidey is.

Harry Kim and Viktor Hargreeves for the character opinion bingo (for old times sake <3)
Swishy :D hi!!
ooooh for old times sake
Harry Kim
no bingo, but to me he is so much beyond this chart (deserves the world, deserves that promotion, deserves eternal happiness, etc etc)
Viktor Hargreeves
tbh I think everyone got done dirty by the creators in the third season, but idk
(these two characters have been lovingly given a room in the house inside my mind that's specifically for blorbos I still love even if I do not think of them as often anymore <3)

No I’m ok, it’s just the way that Jesper is probably one of the first men that Inej has felt safe with since the menagerie and Inej is one of the only people who loves Jesper fully and unconditionally regardless of his faults and now they have to leave each other for separate goals that got me for a second there

Eddie, posting to TikTok: Look, I love my husband. I adore this man and I have for the majority of my life. He is the shining star in my sky.
Eddie: And I know. I know he wants to read more this year. And I know that when you’re dyslexic, it can be really difficult and I’m happy every time he accomplishes what he wants but…
*Flips camera to show Steve reading on the other side of the couch*
Eddie, gesturing: What kind of demented book handling is this? That book is bent in half. It’s a hardback!

you got the girlie of all time <3333 I wanted her in my top 20 but I already read all of her appearances and she didn't have enough :(
favorite issue...how can I choose? I really love Green Lantern (1960) #150 despite that one scene because I love her determination and her love for the corps and how she's willing at 13 years old to sacrifice her life for others. You can feel why she was chosen at such a young age.
I liked him in jli ngl. Yes I don't really like that series for Guy reasons but he's fun there. I've read the Chocos issue at somepoint and that was funny. Making him addicted to off brand oreos was hilarious and I do love it.
Jimmy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Honestly one of my fav comics of all time is Superman's Pal, Jimmy Olsen (2020) and it was one of the first comics I ever read (I was still reading it while it came out) and yeah :) go read superman's pal, jimmy olsen.

5. favorite form of potato?
This may be very basic of me, but I like baked potatoes. I used to not like potatoes, like, at all, and then I had a baked potato and was like "okay okay... maybe I overreacted these are actually pretty good." (still don't like mashed potatoes though).
11. anything from your childhood you’ve held on to?
I have a big stuffed Valentine's-themed bear who used to hold a heart between its hands but now the heart's only connected to one hand because I've had it for so long. I know I still have my stuffed giraffe from when I was a baby. My house has a broken Cuckoo clock that I got for Christmas when I was really little—the time is completely off and it doesn't make sound anymore, but we've kept it for some reason. Pretty woodwork, I guess. These are all physical things, but there's plenty of things I've held onto mentally, as well (even if my mind's blanking on them currently).
26. how’s your spice tolerance?
Pretty good, I'd say. It used to be horrendous, but I just kept eating spicy things until it chilled out. It's definitely not the highest it could be, and I prefer to order mild things at restaurants, for example, but I do like a bit of spice. I have more wasabi with my sushi than I used to, and jalapeños don't bother me like they used to.
Side-tangent, I once got jalapeño in my eye back in my freshman year of high school, and that was actually a horrendous experience for me. Like, absolutely horrible. My poor teacher having to deal pour running water into my eye and make sure I was okay.
Thanks for the ask, Swishy :)
