honestly this might not sound right but im happier when i see genuine allies then when i see other trans people
like yeah congrats my dude and u go girl but like
your kinda just another random person in the same (or worse) predicament as me. that sad. you cant help it
i mean ik you could be an activist but still
as awesome as you even existing as what you are is
its...... it doesnt feel like things are actually getting better
but when i see an ally
that feels like uh. evidence that things are actually getting better? if that makes sense??
like, a trans person is trans regardless-- they might not be out, but no matter what they are what they are
allies or only allies because they chose to be. obv conditions lead to them choosing to be, but they still did
i dont just mean ppl TOLERATING trans ppl i mean actual active allies
idk i might just be a moron
also sidenote cis people like to listen to other cis people more than us
so cis allies are REALLY helpful in that regard
same kinda goes for allies in other groups??? but like-- not, speaking FOR the minority group theyre an ally of, but like, just getting someone who wouldnt pause and listen TO pause and listen
does that make any sense

How am I not LGBT+?
I'm a cishet male, and yet:
I'm on tumblr
I'm a Computer Science student.
I watch JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Hazbin Hotel, Helluva Boss, etc.
I'm subscribed to Overly Sarcastic Productions, Jaiden Animations, and PM Seymour.
I play DnD, Stardew Valley, and Baldur's Gate III.
I love me a good musical number.
I've enjoyed Monster Prom and its sequels.
I love Thomas Sanders, One Topic at a Time, The Click, etc.
I think LGBT+ memes are funny (as in, the ones made by actual LGBT+ folk, not conservatives making memes at their expense).
While I don't actively seek out media with LGBT+ characters, when they do show up, I tend to enjoy them.
Actively hate culture war/"woke cult"/redpill bullshit
I'm sex positive, even though I've never had it.
I Think that a lot of gendered stuff (Gendered Bathrooms, "Blue is for boys, pink is for girls") is just stupid.
I grew up on Gravity Falls
I didn't mind playing with "girls toys" growing up (Dollhouses, Princesses, etc.)
I've spent some time on Deviantart
I've read Percy Jackson (don't remember a lot of it, but I did).
Don't mind wearing feminine clothing for a bit (ex: that time I went as a Karen for Halloween)
Have a strong desire to punch homophobes/transphobes in the face.
I mean, if you were to look at all this stuff, you would probably think I'm LGBT+ in some way, but NOPE! I'm a dude. I'm cool with being a dude. I'm not androgynous enough to be nonbinary. I have lewd thoughts about girls and not boys. I'm not gay, I'm not ace, I'm not bi, not pan, not nb, nothing.
Like that one John Mulaney bit, I feel like I was supposed to be LGBT+, and yet I'm not. How did this even happen?
Just a weird thing about me that, when I thought about it, only got weirder.

I promise your transfemme, trans women, and intersex followers do not like or appreciate when you interact with transmisogynistic people or TERFS publicly. Clown on them in private please.

re the relative transphobia of each roy sibling (this post is like the third in a saga about this) i think i underestimated kendall. thinking on it now i think he’s more, uh, for lack of a better word politically correct than i thought before seemingly bc he does actually have a HEART. my admittedly weak examples are currently early in s1 when he’s like Wow dad nice casual sexism but- and that after the whole cruises thing he seems to be a lot more disturbed by it than either shiv or roman. before i thought he truly just wouldn’t give a fuck as to ‘pronouns’ but idk i think he’s probably well-meaning. i think kendall roy supports trans people. ROMAN the jury is still far, far out on

You don’t have to be straight or queer or and ally to identify as NAA
NAA’s formal stance regarding all people is:
I don’t care who’s in your bed or what’s in your pants it is not my fucking business. Please let me know what pronouns call you so I don’t cause you accidental pain.
It’s that simple
Everyone can and should do it
And remember kids NAA stand for
Not
An
Asshole

I made this flags for cis-boy and cis-girl after seeing the ones on the LGBTA+ Wiki. The current ones feel very "eh, I didn't wanna put a lot of effort into these because these are the 'normal' genders" and the grey feels very much like it's blatantly stating "these aren't that important because they're the Stereotypical Genders" to me and I wanted to create something that felt more prideful. So, this was my attempt.
Cisboy [left] and cisgirl [right] are meant to be more about being proud of your journey rather than as a bland attempt to give a flag to the medically assignable genders and that's what I attempted to do.
NOTE: I do not believe the creator of the originally flags meant to convey the feelings I mentioned above, that is just the vibe I got from the flags, which is why I created alternative flags. Please do not attack the original creator as this entire post is based off of my interpretation of a work that can be construed as anything.
