#feeling simultaneously lonely for new friends while also being overwhelmed by your current friends sure is A FEELING #one friend is in an abusive situation and won't acknowledge it #and other than telling her to leave I can't support her bc she has a dog and my cats hate dogs #another friend is struggling with dating and I'm her biggest confidante which is fine but I worry for her too #I'm missing my home state friends and won't be seeing them til july #and only for a weekend #I miss having convenient friends that I can just see any time I want #I recently missed a friend who hasn't been my friend since 2016 #I'm conflicted about whether I want to put in effort to foster fandom friendships because I've been burned one too many times #Sure we have one thing in common now but what if the one thing goes away #although let's be real I'm already emotionally invested bc that's just how I be ahahhahaha #excuse me tumblr #I was typing out I just want and it auto filled to be thin #I have had plenty of intrusive thoughts but not THAT one #anyways #I just want my mind to be quiet so maybe screaming into the void will help #also looking into getting an ADD diagnosis will probably help to #april cannot come soon enough #seiya rants

thinking abt how gale and wyll are both hopeless/devoted romantics, but with a very different flavor to them

wyll believes in the grand tales of romance, writing your story together and witnessing your very own epic tale, the true power of love, wanting to court you in the traditional way, being your knight in shining armor, making sure you never want for anything — the beauty of an ending through your own making, your happily-ever-after.

while gale is more spiritual in his approach to romance. he believes in the bond between souls, true connection and devotion that defies even physical factors, something otherwordly and magical that solely exists between the two of you, a merging of body and mind, getting lost in one another and choosing you each day anew. — he doesn't believe in fate, but he does believe in serendipity.

what they do have in common, however, is wanting to dedicate themselves to their partner with their whole heart. i just think they're both really neat and deserve to be appreciated more by the fandom as a whole!!

DPxDC idea thing

Now with AO3 post!

So picture this, the Justice League have just captured the new vigilante called Phantom. So far he has refused to talk to any JL members and seemingly vanished every time they tried to speak to him. After a particularly difficult battle Superman is finally able to put power restricting cuffs on Phantom and bring him to the Watchtower. Phantom has been silent since being subdued and looks like he's being walked to his execution.

Meanwhile, Red Hood has been brought in on an unrelated case and is speaking to a League member when he feels a kind of tugging in his chest. He starts walking in the direction he's being pulled and looks through the one way mirror looking into one of the interrogation rooms. He locks eyes with the green eyed boy and feels fire start burning in his chest as his brain screams protect king help. He's consumed with a feeling almost like the pit rage as he bursts through the door and makes a beeline to Danny. Batman starts to step in front of him but Jason throws him into the wall and undoes Danny's cuffs. Once Danny is free Jason blinks and looks around, feeling unbalanced now that the all consuming need to protect Phantom has subsided.

Danny is completely stunned as he looks at this leather clad mountain of a man that radiates safe protected friend. He's quickly snapped out of his shock as Superman enters the room and starts to grab Jason's shoulder. Danny's protective king instincts kick in as he darts between Supes and Jason, in a voice filled with static and cracking ice he says, "Don't touch my Knight."
