Dean and Castiel are Orpheus and Eurydice - a post
*It's not a perfect comparison. There are things each of these characters go through that they don't share with anyone.
**Also, its not a Orpheus is Castiel and Dean is Eurydice post - Cas shares things with both Orpheus and Eurydice, as does Dean.
***This is about Hadestown, but can be read if you know the original Greek Myth.
The stories (Supernatural and Hadestown) they come from are about gods and men.
Orpheus was a boy "touched by the gods themselves", very similarly to Dean, who is the protagonist of God's (Chuck's) story and Michael's Sword.
Eurydice was a "hungry young girl, a runaway from everywhere she'd ever been. She was no stranger to the world, no stranger to the wind." Likewise, Cas and Dean never fit the place they were supposed to. Cas is a rebel, he always tries to go against the narrative, which made so he couldn't fully be anything (not a human, but not completely an angel, working with the Winchester and hiding things from them). Dean is the same - too soft for a hunter, too rough for domestic life. He didn't have a home for most of his life, and, like Eurydice, was no stranger to the world, no stranger to the wind.
Before meeting Orpheus, Eurydice was alone, and said "people turn on you just like the wind, everybody is a fair weather friend. In the end, you're better off alone." If this isn’t StandfordEra!Dean, I don't know what it is.
The experience of being alone and hungry (and I mean real hunger, having nothing to eat or money to buy it) is something Eurydice, Cas and Dean share.
Eurydice is also hungry for touch. For interaction. For affection. For connecting with people. For being taken care of. For having someone to share a life with. Dean and Cas go through something very similar, wanting to get closer to each other and to others but hiding it inside to not be vulnerable or believing they can't have it.
Orpheus' mother was a muse who abandoned him, and Castiel's father is a god who abandoned the world (and him).
Orpheus was naive, impulsive, driven by what he believed to be right, even if that meant making a few sacrifices - he saw beauty in the world and had a different "way of seeing things". Cas shows all of those behaviors, not understanding how humans work exactly, but being infected by their thoughts and feelings in such a way that he was described to be "in love with humanity", rebelling and becoming able to make choices for himself.
When Orpheus first approaches Eurydice, he is blunt, behaves in an unexpected way and turns her world around by showing her his singing can create life (a flower). When Cas first meets Dean (in a vessel), he gets too close to Dean physically and emotionally and turns his world upside down by telling him he is worth saving and has a purpose for Heaven.
You can see Dean and Cas meeting to the sound of "Come Home With Me" (from the scene Orpheus and Eurydice meet), by destielsevermore, here.
Castiel tells Dean that if he follows Heaven's plan, they'll save the world. Orpheus told Eurydice that spring will come again when he sings the songs he's writing - and thus, saving the world from the freezing winter.
Orpheus and Eurydice parallel the love story between Hades and Persephone. In SPN, Dean and Cas cas be paralleled to other couples on the story - like Cain and Collete, Ishim and Lily, Sam and Ruby, Sam and Eileen and even John and Mary.
Even though Dean was never truly alone, because he always had to take care of Sam (and his parents), he surely can emphatise with Eurydice in the romantic love side of things, when she says "I was alone so long, I didn't even know that I was lonely. Out in the cold so long, I didn’t even know that I was cold. Turned my collar to the wind, this is how it's always been" - but, when they meet Cas and Orpheus, they have someone who fills that part for them.
Likewise, Orpheus said "I don't know how or why or who am I that I should get to hold you. But when I saw you all alone against the sky, it's like I’d known you all along. I knew you before we met and I don’t even know you yet. All I know is you're someone I have always known." which is pretty much how Cas feels about Dean.
Orpheus and Eurydice promised to stay with each other forever - Dean and Cas didn't, but always expected the other to be around.
While Orpheus worked on his song to bring back spring, he didn't notice anything around him, focused on the mission, he loses the chance to save Eurydice. Cas says he "would never look beyond the plan. And then, of course, when it all came crashing down, [he] found [himself] lost."
Hell in Hadestown is a place of relentless repetition and meaningless work. Eurydice worked for Hell and Orpheus made a deal with it. In the end of Supernatural, Dean comes to the realisation that his work has been meaningless, because he's been merely a pawn on Chuck's story, which made him fight the same kind of adversaries again and again, never getting out.
Hadestown/Hell can also be paralleled with SPN's Heaven, as it's workers are intrusted to blindly follow orders and never look up.
Hungrier than ever, Eurydice found herself loosing faith in Orpheus and giving in. Similarly, Dean and Cas find themselves in need to get away from each other a few times during the story, giving in to anger and fear.
Finding herself choiceless, Eurydice made a deal with Hades. Cas makes a deal with Crowley in season 6, betraying Dean, because he thought it was the only choice he had to get to his objective.
Making a deal that kills you and not telling your loved one? Sounds like Cas and Eurydice.
Orpheus goes to hell to save Eurydice. Castiel saves Dean from hell.
Let me know if I should complete the list with moments from Hadestown's second act and feel free to add more!

This is referencing the post you wrote about Dean, explaining his actions towards Sam regarding demon blood. I agree with you on every point that you mentioned about the culture and everything. My question is on Sam's perspective. The brothers definitely had a lot of codependency on each other so it makes sense as to why he got manipulated by Ruby (even though Ruby's part made no sense to me). But even after hearing Pamela and Chuck's opinions why would he continue. What is his motivation todoso
This is the post you're referencing?
I mean, I have said repeatedly that I think the Ruby part was done sloppily and that I needed more
Tumblr media
but what's supposed to be happening here is a combination of hubris/power-tripping
Tumblr media
like let's not forget that what tipped Sam over the edge to kill Lilith when Dean (his conscience) is calling to him is that Lilith starts laughing at him and it sets him off
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
but also that Sam genuinely, honestly believes that what he's doing is the right course of action
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
and no one else but him can see that because they're being close-minded and stuck on the source of his abilities and not the outcome of what they can do.
From his perspective, Dean is constantly letting them down
Tumblr media Tumblr media
he's not driven or focused like he would've been pre-hell
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
and no one is willing to admit this,
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
A good example of this is when the angels brought Dean to torture Alastair, it ends up with him being beaten to the point of hospitalization
Tumblr media
Alastair also gets an upper hand on Cas
Tumblr media
and then all Sam has to do is show up and use his abilities and after a few minutes get an answer that Dean couldn't get after hours of torture and then he successfully kills him
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
from Sam's perspective, everyone is incompetent
Tumblr media Tumblr media
he's exorcising demons without killing humans, he's getting information, he's powerful, he's ahead of the curve and he's being villanized for getting results because they don't have the stomach for what he's doing but he does, which makes him the only person who can actually pull off stopping the apocalypse because he'll do whatever it takes and won't let his own morality get in the way.
What actually almost pulls this together for me is the finale because you see him start to crack because he's doing things in the name of what he believes is right and he's no longer sure if it is right
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
which for me threw into relief that despite how I feel about how Sam treated/reacted to Dean throughout the season or how I feel about the Ruby manipulation, we are meant to see that Sam really believed that the ends justified the means, which is why he wasn't listening to anyone, and which is why he's devastated when Ruby is like your choices led to this, Sam
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Another way to look at it is him thinking he's like Jimmy when Cas first approached him. His family thinks there's something seriously wrong there because he's doing things that don't make sense to them and that are dangerous like putting his hand in a pot of boiling water but Jimmy knows that he's communicating with an angel.

Certain parts of season 14 and 15 just rub me the wrong way. Everything about the shift when Mary dies again to set up conflict between Dean and Cas just doesn’t hit right. So here’s a new way I’d do it:
Jack still accidentally murders Mary, but after zipping around the Earth in a panic, he goes to Castiel. He has no fear that he’ll lose Cas over this. It’s Sam and Dean that he’s worried about. Especially Dean since he was horrible when he was born. Dean only more recently seemed like he really cared about him. He can’t mess this up. Jack brings Cas back to the house and explains what happened.
We know Cas is a strategist and his mind would be in overdrive, because of course the Winchesters weren’t going to be okay with any of this. Hell, he’s barely keeping it together. Mary was his friend. But, Jack is his child and responsibility. And he loves him too much to let him suffer. So he devises a plan: Nick was trying to summon Lucifer from the Empty. He was succeeding. Jack and Mary were trying to stop him and Lucifer obliterated Mary. Jack wasn’t quick enough but he was able to send Lucifer back into the Empty and in a rage killed Nick. Now Jack is panicking because it’s still his fault, but not his fault. It’s Nick and Lucifer’s. And Jack while being mostly soulless is still a bit hesitant to weave such a lie to their family, but he agrees. Cas reassures him that the Winchesters will be devastated, but they’ll understand better this way. As a family, all of them will be able to grieve and move on eventually. Because: Nick shouldn’t have done what he did. It was high tension and everyone was upset, and it was inevitable an accident happened. It was just a terrible accident.
Distraught, Jack asks if there’s anything they can do to fix things? If they can bring Mary back? If they had a body....maybe. This leads Jack to want to see Rowena to see if she could just bring Mary back. They decide to try, but stick to the story. Cas gets zapped back to his truck and Jack goes to Rowena. So we have the similar situation where Jack in a panic tries to force Rowena to fix things and she tries, but also still tips off the Winchesters. Still the magic doesn’t work and Jack is scared. Sam and Dean get to the house and are a mess trying to make heads or tails of the mess. Automatically the blame is on Jack. They’ve been worried about his soul. He must have gone completely dark side. And we’ll note that Dean is the one crawling out of his skin pacing and ranting. Sam is more withdrawn. Jack flies into Cas’ truck when he’s almost there. Cas goes into the house first. He tells Jack to wait in the truck. Cas bars the doorway with his body while he tries to explain the ‘tale’ Jack told him in the car and how devastated he is over Mary and terrified of what they, Sam & Dean, will do next.
Dean believes Cas. It’s Cas. His anger rolls into grief & tears. His mom died. How did he get here where he has to bury her again. Cas comforts Dean with soft touch and words. He’s sorry. He’s so sorry. Cas gives into his own grief a bit. It’s Sam that continues to stand there in quiet rage. It’s like his whole lifetime of trauma is torn open again. And now there’s this new angry wound that’s only festered since Amara brought Mary back. Yes, he should be grateful that he’s gotten to know her at all, but.....it was never right. She never stayed long enough to really know him. Emotionally her bond with Dean was always stronger. He was always just a fly on the wall. She was his mom too. And now...even Cas is crying more than him. When the hell was she ever anything to him? Sam’s anger spirals, but he’s trying to keep it down. He keeps going over the house there. Something about everything isn’t sitting right with him. There’s something off. He knows it.
So with the funeral and going home to the bunker, things feel flipped. Jack and Cas were most worried about Dean, but it’s Sam they should be worried about. Dean is angry and upset, but he’s not blaming Jack. He’s actually trying to be there for Jack. This development has Cas over the moon, because this is all he ever wanted. For them to be a family. While Dean fell into the cycle of his father’s anger when Cas died s12/13....this time he’s being what he/John should have been. And Sam is the one sinking into John’s cycle of anger. Sam’s the one drinking a bit more. He’s quiet, but there’s an anger that’s clearly there. He’s distancing himself from Jack and Cas. Eventually he blows up and admits that he blames Jack and his soullessness. For all they know he hurt her / let her get hurt purposely. Which gets Cas angry and Sam flat out admits that he doesn’t trust Cas’ word. Something feels off to him, and this isn’t the first time Cas has tried to go behind their backs. He has quite the history of it.
This causes Sam, Dean, and Cas to go at it yelling. Jack overhears some and blames himself for ruining everything again. He’s been nothing but trouble for their family. Maybe it would be better if he just left. So he does. This ties us back to Jack being manipulated by Heaven. Dean and Cas are out trying to find him. All ties back in to Jack goes home and finds Sam alone in the bunker. And it’s easy to fall back into the trust Jack has always had with Sam. He’s always had Jack’s back. And he manipulates Jack, telling him that they’ve worked out a spell to bring Mary back. They altered the malak box spell work to harness and focus Jack’s powers. It should be enough. Dean and Cas will be back any minute with Rowena. Jack eagerly believes him and does as he’s told. Jack gets in the box and he stares up at Sam nervous. Sam tells him that there’s nothing to worry about anymore. Cas told them everything. They can fix things now. And Jack looks at him confused, everything? Sam presses that yes, Cas explained how it was an accident. Jack breathes a sigh of relief and then crumbles into tears, how he didn’t mean to. He asked her to stop, but she wouldn’t give him a moment to breathe and then..it was an accident. He didn’t mean to hurt her. And cold as ice Sam goes, I know, and closes the lid. Locking the box.
It’s a while before Dean and Cas make it back. Jack has enough time to completely unravel in his grief, and anger, and realization that Sam lied and tricked him. Everyone keeps manipulating him and lying. Dean and Cas get back and start arguing with Sam. Just like in the show, Jack breaks out and leaves. Sam still goes into it explaining the truth he got from Jack. Cas LIED. He covered up Mary’s death. He’s known the truth all along. Dean refuses to believe Sam. He’s mistaken.
Things roll into Moriah and Jack makes it so no one can lie. And because of that the truth finally comes out of Cas’ mouth. And Dean breaks. He tells Cas that he’s dead to him. Cas leaves to look for Jack on his own. Dean’s fury goes in on Jack. He never should have gotten attached. Jack was always a monster. All of this rolls into Chuck’s return and manipulation. He pushes Dean to kill Jack. And the puzzle pieces click into place for Sam. He realizes how much this is all a game to Chuck. Chuck pulled the strings to make every bad thing that’s happened in his life happen just for his own entertainment: Mom, their childhood, dad’s shitty parenting, Jess, demon deals, demon blood, Dean going to Hell, Ruby, the apocalypse, visions, unanswered prayers, EVERYTHING..... Chuck’s newest episode of entertainment was causing Jack to accidentally kill Mary and have to live with the consequences of losing his only family over it. Sam’s anger goes directly into Chuck.
He needs to get to Dean. Meanwhile Dean finds Cas and Jack in the cemetery. Cas gets between them and tries to talk Dean down. Dean is shaking with fury. He’s never been this mad before. He hated Jack for being born and getting Cas killed, and then he grew to love the kid as family, and he hates him for making him feel this much. He killed his mom, and lied about it. Cas tries to explain that he was trying to protect all of them. He was trying to maintain their family. Dean coldly goes, there’s no family here to maintain. I’m a hunter. Saving people and hunting monsters is the family business, and....I see two monsters in front of me. And he holds the equalizer up, shakily. Jack sends Cas flying so he can approach Dean. He understands what Dean has to do. He accepts it and he’s sorry. Jack gets on his knees and waits. Dean can’t quite do it. He’s trying.
Sam and Chuck get there. Sam starts yelling how Chuck set this whole thing up. Chuck is trying to make Dean do this...for his own entertainment. And everything rolls back into what the actual show did. Dean can’t kill Jack and Sam shoots Chuck. Everything continues to roll similarly as s15 did, but the divorce arc is leaning heavily on Dean is angry about Cas betraying him.

Season Three
I made some posts on Tapas about this but I guess some people missed them, so the confused people in that crew, here is a screenshot of an explanation:
Tumblr media
The original plan was to draw the entirety of season two before scheduling it all to post. But a handful of episodes in I got caught up in something else and by the time I had time to work on it again, I just couldn't. I tried and tried but I really just could not get back into it.
So continuing in my promise, here is season three:
Super watermelon island
Garnet sees Malachite surfacing on Mask Island so they go there and ambush her. Peridot stays behind to work on the drill and Rose volunteers to supervise her. Alexandrite defeats Malachite. Jasper is lost in the ocean again and Lapis is brought home, passed out.
Gem drill
Same plot but replace Steven with Rose.
Same old world
Lapis wakes up and Amethyst helps her process what she went through and finds a new home for her (similar plot but Amethyst has a different approach cause of her personality). She chooses the barn.
Barn mates
Peridot insists the barn belongs to her because she’s already been using it. Lapis insists it was promised to her even though Amethyst never actually said that and doesn’t own the barn in the first place. Amethyst decides this is going to be hilarious and makes popcorn. She soon realizes she’s too close to it for it to be funny so goes to solve the problem, but it’s harder than she anticipated. It generally follows the same plot though. The red eye shows up at the end and lapis flicks it.
Hit the diamond
Yeah this one’s the same.
Steven floats
Rose learns she can float.
Mr greg
Steven & Connie’s backstory (Never fleshed this out)
Too short to ride
TBH the same but replace Steven with Rose.
The new lars
Rose wakes up in the middle of the night in Pearl’s body. Terrified, she shakes herself awake, which triggers the switch back. Pearl wakes up groggy and asks Rose why she’s awake. She says she had a bad dream and they go back to sleep.
Beach city drift
The cool kids invited Lars to a party and he’s bragging about it. When Pearl and Amethyst show interest, Lars says little kids aren’t allowed. They fuse and try to keep Opal stable so they can attend the party.
Monster reunion
Rose figures out that she does, in fact, have healing powers. She’s sure it’s a Diamond thing, but thankful as heck it’s also a Rose Quartz thing. Rose says she should try and heal one of the monsters and Pearl says she should do corrupted Rose Quartz. Once CRQ is half healed, it’s the same plot switching Steven for Pearl. We get to learn about the Crystal Gems’ demise. They were fighting at the beach and where Beach City would eventually be built. A Quartz fusion chucked the warp pad to prevent further backup from arriving. Rose notices a Nephrite receiving orders to retreat and looks up to see the diamond attack. The warp pad lands on the Nephrite. Rose doesn’t have a means to protect her friends(sword instead of shield), so they all succumb to the attack. (exit flashback) Rose runs to the temple, but can’t get in. Pearl lets her in. Pink Rose is in there like “wat happen why.” (Maybe CRQ finds something in the chest? IDK where to go from here.)
Alone at sea
Peridot is sad because Lapis is sad and she can’t figure out how to make not sad so she asks Garnet for help. Garnet takes Lapis into the ocean and does her best to show her more of the beauty of Earth. Lapis is finally starting to cheer up when Jasper sneaks up on them and begs on her knees to become Malachite again. Lapis tells her no and makes her leave. Garnet and Lapis go home wary.
Greg the babysitter
Sour Cream is excited because his baby brother is being born today. The gems are like what is a baby. We learn that gems don’t start out quite that small. They theorize that since humans only incubate for 9 months, they don’t develop as far. Gems incubate for years. They come out as 5-year-olds ish. Then Connie wonders if gems were to incubate for a very long time, would they form as adults? The gems laugh at such an idea. :^)
Gem hunt
Connie is getting very good at being close to danger even though she can’t fight or anything, so when she hears the gems are going to the frozen North, she insists on tagging along to supervise. The gems think that’s stupid but they aren’t gonna say no to Mom. Connie and Garnet get separated from Pearl, Amethyst, and Rose. While separated, Connie actually helps Garnet take out one of the beasts. Pearl, Amethyst, and Rose encounter Jasper, who poofs their beast and walks off menacingly as Connie and Garnet find them. (Rose summons her shield for the first time when trying to protect her teammates)
Crack the whip
Amethyst loses a sparring match to Pearl for the first time and is super self conscious about it.
Steven vs amethyst
Amethyst internalizes the problem instead of confronting Pearl.
Bismuth (This is out of order. Should happen before Monster Reunion)
Rose asks why she doesn’t have a room in the temple yet and the gems are like yeah that’s chill we have another spot go for it. She makes her room and to her surprise there’s already stuff in it. The other gems are like yeah there were a few things in our rooms too. We think they’re left over from the previous owners. Stuff like swords and relics. But Rose has some peculiar items in her room. There’s a chest, a sword, a flag, and a bubble. Rose likes the sword and wants to use it in battle.
Beta
Amethyst still feels like shit so Rose takes her to Peridot and Peridot takes them to the beta kindergarten. Same plot.
Earthlings
We find out that even though Jasper was originally made for Yellow, since she was young when PD emerged she was actually training to be given to Pink.
Back to the moon
Same plot mostly. The other gems hear for the first time (from the rubies) that Pink Diamond was shattered on Earth. ‘Who would do such a thing?’ It was a Rose Quartz. All eyes on Rose. Not having planned for this, she panics and runs downstairs. Pearl says she’ll talk to her since she’s closest to her and asks the other to continue helping the rubies without her.
Bubbled
Pearl talks to Rose about what they’re going to tell the others. They decide Rose was bubbled and when Pink returned to Earth in search of her Pearl, she released Rose. Rose asked who she was and she told her she’s a Diamond. Rose is a Crystal Gem so she identified her as a threat and took the opportunity to strike. Soon the others return but their cover (pretending to be homeworld gems for the rubies) is blown at the last second. Rose opens the airlock to blow them into space and one of them grabs her, trying to pull her with them, but she escapes the ruby’s grasp safely.

きつね (Fox)
(I wanted to try something different and write a few Romaji (ローマ字) words in Hiragana (ひらがな)! I promise it won’t be throughout the fic, but I thought it would be fun for those learning Japanese to practice :))
Here’s a !DARK! Kitsune (きつね) Kakyoin (かきょいん) x Female Reader story! Please proceed with extreme caution!
TW: !NONCON!, !Foul Dirty talk!, !breeding kink!, !knotting!, !Size kink!, use of pepper spray!, you’re in the forest!,!no prep!, !gagging!,  !predator/prey elements!, violence!, mentions of blood and small wounds!, !mentions of drug use and alcohol! (Not you or in detail),  etc..
I’m sorry if this is too OOC!)
“Go to the forest, they said, it’ll be fun, they said,” You grumble to yourself, nearly tripping over a stray tree root. All you want to do is get out of this damn forest and pass out in your dormitory bed, but it seems like Mother Nature has another plan for you.
Currently, you’re regretting going into the creepy woods near your college. You’d only gotten to this college a few months prior, having transferred from your college in (prefecture/country) to one in rural Japan, and you thought this would be a fun experience. Your new friends claimed that the parties at a certain campground were wild and entertaining, but so far, you’d only seen a few drunken fights, you watched a girl snort a line off of another girls’ chest, and were almost shoved into the bonfire. After all of this, and the fact that your friends left you alone, you decided it was time to head home.
But, as it turns out, you walked in the opposite direction of the parking lot, getting yourself absolutely lost in the hauntingly beautiful forest. Cursing yourself for your stupidity, you tried to bring up google maps, only to be stopped by that godforsaken icon of ‘no service.’
So, you opted for your phone’s flashlight, trying in vain to figure out where was North and where was South.
“Fucking hell, I know I didn’t walk too far from the campsite, how did I get so lost?” Stumbling once again, you almost fall flat on your face, only to be stopped by a pale hand. The slender, long fingered hand grips the fat of your forearm in a firm grasp, holding you up. Seeing this, a horrified scream leaves your lips before you can stop it, thinking that the thing in front of you was an Onryō.
Looking up, you’re suddenly face to face with a large, breathtaking man in a red and white kimono. His long, red hair is twisted into an intricate updo, highlighting his sharp jawline. That, in turn, shows off his dangling earrings, which just barely brush his cheek. His purple eyes twinkle in your phone’s flashlight, a small smirk quirking his full lips.
“Hello there,” The redhead's voice is smooth, sounding like whipped butter personified, “Are you lost?”
Knowing better than to expose your vulnerability, you shake your head no, “O-oh, no, sir. I’m just heading back to the party. I’m sorry if I bothered you,” You try to wrench your arm from his grip, but he seemingly grabs on harder.
“There’s no need to lie, I heard your grumblings a few moments ago. I’ve also watched your sorry attempts of hiking through the foliage, and I’d be happy to help,” You eye him suspiciously, not trusting him for a second.
“No thank you. I’m not so sure I trust a weird man alone in the forest. I hope you understand,” He laughs at your words, sounding like wind chimes. You shift your feet in discomfort, wondering what is so funny about your cautious words.
“Don’t be silly. There’s a temple near here that I upkeep, and I was walking to the parking lot to head to a 7/11 near here. I’m heading in the same direction as you, so-“ He continues to speak, but you don’t hear a word. You never mentioned the parking lot, and if he was heading there, you’re pretty sure he would’ve just used a path that you carelessly disregarded. Noticing your sudden change of discomfort to extreme fear, he tries to comfort you, “Why that look? I promise I won’t hurt you. Here, why don’t you come to the temple and-“
You don’t give him time to manipulate you, suddenly whipping out your gel pepper spray. Chucking the cap in a random direction, you check that the nozzle is facing him, before spraying at full blast. A loud bark-like scream echoes through the air, as you’re suddenly released by his iron grip. Shoving him over, you start to sprint in the direction you just came from.
“Come back here!” The red haired man yells, a deep growl reverberating through his chest. That urges you to run faster. Flashlight aimed at the ground, you leap and hop over foliage and debris, trying your hardest to evade the freak of a man currently after you. You can hear his footsteps behind you, the forest suddenly silent.
Your body runs cold at the realisation; just what is this man, and why are the critters so afraid of him?
Not deciding to find out, you then run in a zigzag fashion, trying to get him off of your tail. The crunch of sticks and leaves are constant, the loudest ones being the hulking man behind you.
“You can’t outrun me, Pretty Girl!”
Your chase goes on for a while longer, until you see the unmistakable light of a fire. This causes you to go faster, the idea of safety appealing.
But, unfortunately for you, you didn’t notice the undeniable silence ahead of you. When you left, the music was practically earth shattering, along with the chatter of inebriated college kids and the loud noise of their cars and motorcycles.
When you reach the fire, you’re greeted with the sight of a dark wooden structure. It’s a temple, but it looks a lot bigger than a normal Shintō one. In fact, it looks straight out of the fantasy anime your roommate made you watch with her.
Taking your chances with the forest, you turn to run back into the dark green foliage, only to be tackled back first onto the stick covered dirt below. The twigs stab into your uncovered covered skin, drawing blood, as the kimono clad man above you pants in both pain and anger.
He brings his face close to yours, making you turn yours away from his with a whimper. His warm breath fans across your uncovered neck, his purple eyes practically glowing down at you. The white around his irises are bright red and teary, showing the effect your weapon has against him. In the lightly you notice two flattened ears on the top of his head, making you gasp in surprise and confusion. Was this a guardian of the Forest? Or was this a demon here to steal your soul?
“Why must you hurt me? I haven’t done anything to you,” He sounds somewhat hurt that you maced him, but who could blame you? If some creep approaches you in the forest, you fight first, ask questions later.
“Why are you coming after me? There’s no reason for you to chase after me,” One of his rough hands grips your chin, forcing you to look up at him. His mouth is parted slightly, his sharp teeth glinting in the fire light as his face twists into a smirk.
“It’s always fun chasing after prey,” He leans in closer, lips just barely touching yours, “Especially when the prey is as adorable as you. Now, we can do this the hard way, or the easy way; if you let me have you, we can go at your pace. If you don’t, I’ll take you however I want.”
To say you’re shocked is an understatement, “Wha-what do you mean, ‘take me’? Didn’t you just say that you’re going to eat me?”
“Maybe I will, maybe I won’t. I’m still quite full from the meal I had earlier. I should thank those villagers; without them, I wouldn’t have been able to eat those delicious friends of yours,” All blood leaves your face, did he just say that he ate-
Looking at his kimono, you realise that the red isn’t a pattern at all; it’s blood splatter!
“Oh my god,” You place a shaking hand on his chest, trying to push him away, “What the fuck? Holy shit- is that why the forest is so quiet? They know it’s your feeding time? Holy fuck-“ He silences you with a heated kiss, practically forcing his tongue down your throat. Lithe hands grope at your cropped tank top covered breasts, trying to squeeze the fat underneath, only to be blocked by your push up bra. Shoving with your entire weight, you’re still unable to force him off of you. Without thinking, you bite down on his tongue, drawing out another bark of pain from the ginger.
That gives you enough time to breathe and regain your composure. Trying to wiggle out from underneath the muscular male, you’re quickly lifted and flipped onto your front, face pressed against the dirty ground.
“My mother always told me that females are hard to get, but I never knew it would be this painful,” He spits a mouthful of blood out onto the ground near your head, making you cringe away from that spot, scraping your chest against a particularly sharp twig. A small yelp escapes your throat at the pain, trying in vain to use your arms as a barrier against the sticks and stones below you, “Awe, did my pretty girl hurt herself? That’s okay, I’ll still think that you’re pretty.”
“Get off of me! What are you trying to do? If you’re going to eat me, get over with it already!” Finally being able to push yourself up onto your forearms, you try to buck him off of you, only to hear a high pitched whine echo out from behind you. Freezing in surprise, you peek at him from, only to be met with a ruby red face.
“Did you know that foxes go through a mating season?”
“What the hell does that have to do with any-?” You’re suddenly shoved back onto the floor, tits practically spilling out of your top.
“I’m going to breed your empty womb, and there’s nothing you can do about it. You’re going to bear me many cute pups, and you’re going to stay here with me until the end of your days.”
“Go find some female kitsune! I don’t want to have your babies!” Your stomach scrapes painfully against stones below you, dripping more blood onto the dirt.
“But that’s the thing- you don’t get a choice, Pretty Pretty. You clearly can’t care for yourself! You got lost in the woods, for Gods’ sake! Now, obey your mate, and let me in,” He looks down at your cute mini-skirt, and flips it over your ass, exposing your emerald green thong. His cool fingers ghost over your unblemished ass cheeks, a hitched breath echoing through the Kitsune’s chest, “Oh, pretty girl, did you wear this for me? How did you know my favourite colour?”
“Get off of me! I didn’t do any-“ He suddenly rips your panties from your cute cunt, before shoving them into your open mouth. You try to spit it out, but are unable to. Tears gather in your eyes, as you start to cry. This strange man is about to do the worst thing a person can do, and he doesn’t seem to care about your feelings.
“Don’t cry, I’ll take care of you and our pups,” He spreads your legs open, giving him easier access to your soft pussy, “Ah, there’s your pretty cunt. Everything about you is so pretty, aren’t you lucky? If it weren’t for that and your perfect fertile womb, I would’ve eaten you.”
He kneels on your shins, shoving down your front, arching your ass up into the air.
“You smell amazing. It’s like your body is just calling for my thick seed. Don’t worry, Pretty Girl,
I’ll give it to you.”
You hear his kimono shift, most likely pulling out his cock. This makes you choke on your sobs, as you try to pretend that this moment isn’t happening. That some monster of the forest isn’t about to breed you full of his-
A scream escapes your throat the moment you feel his wet cock head against your unprepared pussy. You thought he’d at least prepare your cunt, but it seems that he’s trying to go in dry. He grunts when he feels you starting to thrash, using the hand that once held his cock to smack your ass harshly.
“Stop it. You can’t change my mind! Jotaro will be so jealous when he finds out I got the most beautiful, fertile, and resourceful mate. Now, hold still,” You don’t understand what he’s talking about, but you can’t help but feel shame. You know his friend’s name, but not his own! The least your rapist could do is tell you his name! As if sending this, he rubs one of your ass cheeks reassuringly, “I suppose you’d like to know your mate’s name, huh? I’m Noriaki Kakyoin. There’s no need for you to say your name, I heard you introduce yourself to those… disgusting humans earlier. But don’t worry, you won’t have to deal with them ever again.”
He releases your ass in favour of gripping his cock once more, pushing its tip into you with some trouble. You scream through your makeshift gag, the pain of him pushing in feeling like he’s tearing your pussy apart.
“Awe, are you a virgin? My mom always said a female’s first time is painful,” You want to shove a stick up his ass unlubed! Let’s see how he likes getting something forced inside of him without preparation! “But don’t worry, you should feel good once I’m fully inside.”
With that, he forces himself in until he’s fully seated inside of you. Another scream escapes your throat, as you feel a small rivulet of blood dribble from your now torn cunt. By this point, you’re hyperventilating in pain, anxiety, and fear. This man is so thick, that you’re pretty sure your pussy will never go back to its original size ever again.
“Fuck, you’re so tight. I knew you were the right one for me,” When he starts to move, that’s when one of your hands claws at one of his that’s resting on your hip. You feel his skin break under your nails, as you try in vain to make him stop. It feels like he’s splitting you in two! “Does my pretty girl feel good?” You shake your head rapidly, drowning in your pained sobs, “Don’t lie, I feel you getting wet.”
Can’t he smell that that’s blood?
You hiccup and wheeze, tears and snot dripping down your pretty face into the dirt. When he starts to buck his hips, you feel like you’re going to throw up. His cock is so heavy inside you, that you feel like he’s rearranging your guts.
“I feel the opening of your womb on my tip, it’s almost like you’re trying to suck my cock into it!” Kakyoin starts to move his hips faster, making your body go limp. It’s almost like your body is going into shock at the severe pain you’re in, “You sure want my pups, even if you claim you don’t. I’m so close to filling you with my seed, so you won’t have to wait any longer to be filled!”
He bucks into you at top speed, his own hips crashing into yours harshly. His heavy sack smacks against your ignored clit, sending small jolts of pleasure through your body. But, it’s not enough to make this easier for you. Your pussy is barely producing any slick, making this a lot harder for you to handle. The next time this happens, you know there’s going to be a next time, you should probably explain to him how to prepare you for his horse cock.
“Shit, shit, I’m gonna fill you up, Pretty Girl. I’m going to make you heavy with five pups, hell, maybe even fifteen! Then once you have them, I’ll fill you up with even more! Doesn’t that sound nice? Your womb will never be lonely again!”
He thrusts into you with three more powerful thrusts, before slamming his entire length inside of you at once. The head of his cock is right up against your womb, so when his entire length starts to swell, you can practically feel it prying at your cervix. More fat tears rain down your face in this rivulets, your fingers digging into the dirt, cutting up your nimble hands. Kakyoin grunts and growls in a deep voice, savouring the way your walls throw around him in pain.
Whilst his cock is fully swollen, he releases all the cum he has into you. The large amount of seed isn’t all able to force its way into your cervix, causing it to pool in the canal of your cunt, bloating your stomach out slightly.
“I can practically smell my seed taking. Your perfect body is accepting me very well, Pretty Pretty. I told you that we’re mates, and this just proves it,” he strokes your head softly, trying to console you as you continue to cry. At this point, he starts to become concerned, why haven’t you stopped crying? “What’s wrong? Didn’t you cum?”
When you don’t shake or nod your head, he releases one of your hips, in favour of yanking your panties out of your mouth, allowing you to breathe with ease and finally speak.
“You’re such a Monster,” You sob, face pressed against the cool packed dirt below you, “I-I can’t believe you-if you were going to rape me why didn’t you prepare me?” He makes a small whimpering noise, not quite understanding your gripe.
“What do you mean?” You start to cry even harder, almost making yourself sick.
“My pussy is torn open! I’m bleeding! The only one who felt nice is you!” You start to gag, unable to catch your breath properly without somewhat choking on your spit and snot, “Now I’m pregnant with your rape babies, and-and it hurts so bad! Get out of me!”
You try to yank yourself off of his inflated cock, but he quickly stops you, trying not to hurt you even more. Looking down, he sees a large pool of blood below the place the both of you are connected. He gasps in shock. Sure, he knew that some girls bleed their first time, but this doesn’t look right!
“What-why are you bleeding so much?”
“Because you tore me open! I hate you! I hate you! I wish you just killed me!”
Whilst he’s still stuck inside you, you continue to cry, which makes him feel even worse. He can’t believe that he hurt you so severely. This was never his intention, after all, both parties are supposed to feel good, are they not?
But now, he’ll never be able to make you love him.
How could you love someone as monstrous as him?

SS7 - KTH, FANTASY!AU, 3623w
Tumblr media
The sun was high in the sky when Taehyung met her for the first time. He was feeling the effects of the heat under his cloak and took some time to squat under the shade of a large, drooping tree.
Losing his chaperone was starting to seem like a bad decision as he rubbed at his growling stomach. He wasn’t certain that he could remember the last time he was hungry for this long. Normally, in the palace, he would have eaten at least a snack by now while the kitchen staff prepared lunch for him and his mother. But with only the palace towers visible against the northern mountains, he knew he wouldn’t get back until at least dinner time. Maybe longer.
He dozed off to fight the hunger pangs briefly only to be woken by the sound rustling. The stories about ferocious wolves he sometimes read from his chaperone's library came flooding back to him. He still wasn’t old enough or far enough in training to carry a sword like the knights at the palace did, so there was no way to defend himself against an attack. Did wolves even like the taste of princes, he wondered with watery eyes.
The rustling grew louder and he began to cry in earnest. He didn’t know much about wolves, but he did know that at some point his chaperone tried to teach him about the wildlife in the kingdom’s terrain. If only he’d listened instead of doodling on the margins of his parchment. Taehyung dropped his head to whisper a silent prayer to the gods like he sometimes heard the maids do over his bed when he got chills in the winter.
If he made it out of this, he promised to study harder, stay with his chaperone, and stop playing tricks on the palace seamstress.
A twig snapped and he screamed a high and childish sound. Then from the bushes emerged not a wolf, but another child.
Instantly he could tell the child was clearly not from any of the allying kingdoms. There was no gold woven into her cloak or lacework on the bodice of her gown, nor were there any pearls or smaller jewels sewn into the hem of her skirts. Instead the girl before him stood with a dirty face and a thin, greying frock with a dusty looking apron tied to her front. It reminded him of something some of the servant girls in the palace might wear. And then he thought of home and how far he was from it.
And then he started to cry again.
“You’ve got some funny clothes,” the girl mumbled almost to herself as she approached. “What you cryin' for?”
Taehyung couldn’t do much else but give a wet cough and keep crying in response.
“M’hungryyy,” he managed between heaving sobs.
“Oh, why didn’t you say so?”
The girl reached out and grabbed at Taehyung’s arm, quickly at first and then softer a second time to marvel at the smooth silk of his sleeve. He would have balked at the sudden intrusion, but the crying made his throat sore and he was still whimpering too much to say anything.
He let the other child pull him down some invisible path, ducking under low hanging branches and pushing through high weeds until they reached a small clearing with a gently babbling brook running through it.
“Water!”
Taehyung chucked himself to the ground and pulled off his leather gloves to cup the cool water in his hands. The girl watched off to the side as he drank until he was no longer feeling like he was being baked alive in his velvet trousers. When he stood, she stared at the dirt clinging to the knees of his pants.
“Wait here,” she said before turning on her heel and disappearing further into the surrounding shrubbery.
Taehyung almost panicked but she returned not a few minutes later with her apron gathered awkwardly in her two hands.
“Why are you holding it like that?”
“I’ve got you something.” The smile she gave him was so large it made her eyes small. She was missing a front tooth, just like him. She must have 7 birthdays as well.
Taehyung found himself trying to peek into the makeshift basket of her apron.
“No peeking! Sit first, then I’ll show you.”
Taehyung bristled. “You can’t tell me what to do! I’m the prin—”
“Are you hungry or not?”
With that, he pursed his lips and mulled over his options before settling back down on the ground. Once he was seated, the girl sat down as well. As soon as she was low enough, Taehyung could see exactly what she was hiding. In her apron lay dozens of wild strawberries, each one glistening like a large ruby in the afternoon sun. He realized then that the material of her apron was darkened with what must be water from the brook that she used to wash the berries first.
“These are my favorite,” he looked back up at her in shock. “How did you know,” he asked sincerely.
“I dunno. I just knew they were there. Sometimes I eat them when I’m out here and we've no bread in the house.”
“What? Why wouldn’t you have any bread?” Taehyung chuckles at the ridiculous thought and scoops up a handful of berries. “Just ask the cook to bake you some.”
“What cook? You mean my Ma?”
“Why on earth would your mother make the bread?”
“Well, who else is gonna make it? She says I’m too young yet to put the loaf the fire by myself.”
Taehyung couldn’t find fault with the girl’s logic when she put it that way, though he also couldn’t quite wrap his head around the idea of his own mother in the kitchen. The few times she’d tried to go in, the cooks promptly chased her out. He’d have to ask when he got home.
“Oh!" He chirped, cheeks slightly grubby with berries. "Do you know how to get back to the palace?”
“The palace,” the girl asked while chewing on a strawberry of her own. “I don’t think so. I’ve never been there, I thought only adults went to the palace.”
“I live there.”
“No, you don’t! Only the king and his family live at the palace.”
“The king is my father, so of course I live there.”
The girl was silent again. She stared for a long time at Taehyung’s clean, neat brown hair, his un-tattered clothes, his delicate beaded shoes. She still wasn't sure he was telling the truth until she saw his hands.
“Woah! You really are from the palace!”
She reached out for the hand nearest to her but he yanked it back fearfully.
“Just let me see your hand. I want to see something.”
“No!”
Taehyung gulped and brough his hand to his chest. He knew he wasn’t supposed to take his gloves off outside of the palace, but he was so excited to see fresh water and food that he took them off and forgot to put them back on. The girl stood up and let the remaining berries fall to the ground, leaving small blood-red stains on her apron. If he didn’t fend her off, he’d have to deal with the burning and the splotches again.
“I just want to see really quick. I won’t do anything bad.”
“If you touch me, my skin will get sick,” he parroted the dialogue he heard from the town herbalist told him, nearly 3 suns ago.
“Really?”
He was about to explain more but the girl ambushed him by tackling him to the ground. The air in his lungs was knocked out and he could only lay there at first to get his bearings back. With the sleeve of his silk shirt rucked up, the girl grabbed his bare wrist delicately and peered at his hand. The skin of his palm was free of calluses or scars, smooth and soft. His nails were clean with no soot or soil wedged underneath. Just like her Ma had told her. He truly was a prince.
Taehyung yanked his wrist back and clutched it once more, waiting for the pain to start. But as the seconds passed, his skin remained free of the prickly fire that would raise underneath when his mother used to stroke his cheek or the herbalist would check his pulse.
“What are you,” he breathed with wide eyes up her.
“What?”
“I mean, why doesn’t my skin burn?”
“Does it really burn? I thought you were just pretending,” she blinked in surprise.
Taehyung was about to grab at the girl himself this time, but a call rang through the forest.
“Your Majesty! Taehyung, your grace! Are you here?”
The voice of his chaperone, Namjoon, should have been a welcome sound. But now that he was no longer tired, overheated, or hungry, Taehyung didn’t really feel like going home as badly as he had. In fact, he wanted to spend more time with his new friend. Happiness bubbled inside him at the thought. He could finally have a friend to play with now that he was cured. He could finally get rid of his stuffy gloves and hooded cloaks and go on adventures with someone.
“Who’s Taehyung?”
“Me! I’m Taehyung.” He puffed out his chest proudly. “I’m the first in line to the throne. So I’ll be king one day.”
“Oh. Alright.”
Taehyung pointed a chubby finger in the direction of the sound. “That’s my chaperone, Namjoon. Come on, I’ll let you meet him. He’s nice and he knows everything.”
He grabbed at the girl’s hand first this time. He marveled at the simple warmth he felt, a sensation he hadn’t felt for years without a fiery blaze accompanying it soon after. He smiled down at his fingers intertwined with hers.
“Namjoon, I’m here!”
“Don’t move,” Namjoon's disembodied voice called.
The sound of twigs snapping and flora brushing continued for a few more minutes before a young man of 21 came stumbling through. He nearly fell over a distended tree root while making his way over, but as soon as he righted himself he came charging at Taehyung. Realizing that he had sent his chaperone into a rage, Taehyung ran to hide behind his new friend, still clutching her hand.
“I’ve been looking for you for hours, Kim Taehyung. Do you hear me? Hours!”
“I’m sorry!”
“And now I see that you’ve managed to drag some poor child into your mischief as well.” Namjoon peered down his nose at the two children in front of him when he saw Taehyung’s bare hand nestled in the little girl’s hand.
“What are you doing—where are your gloves?”
Namjoon turned to search the forest floor for the handcrafted leather gloves that always traveled with the prince when he left his chambers or received company. He spotted the deep red garments strewn about nearby and dove for them.
“Put these back on,” he hissed before reaching out and yanking the young prince over to his side. Taehyung whined a little but let Namjoon mandhandle him away from his friend.
“How long have you been touching? Do you feel fit to ride on my horse?”
“Namjoon—”
“I’m afraid we’re too far from the palace to prevent the sickness this time, your majesty. You may faint on the ride back.”
“No, you don’t understand—”
“How many times do I have to tell you that you need to keep your gloves if you’re going to be free of the sickness?”
Namjoon looked into Taehyung’s face openly, clearly dreading seeing the little prince in pain.
“But I’m cured, Namjoon! We touched hands before—a long time ago—and I didn’t feel a thing. Look!”
Taehyung held out his arm and showed the smooth, clear skin there. Namjoon looked angry still but turned to the little girl.
“Is this true?”
She averted her eyes and curtsied like her mother had shown her to do in front of important people. Judging by this chaperone Namjoon’s clothing, he might be a prince as well.
“Yes, your Majesty.”
“Oh, I’m not—”
“Huh?” Taehyung looked up at his guardian before letting a giggle spill from between his lips. “He’s not royal, he’s just my chaperone.”
“What’s a chaperone?”
“It’s the person that follows you around when you leave the grounds or when you have to visit another palace’s prince or princess. Don’t you have one?”
Namjoon shushed Taehyung before the small girl could answer. Of course she didn’t have a chaperone, but Taehyung wouldn't have known that.
“Taehyung, your Majesty, we really must be going back to the palace. I fear that the queen may worry herself ill if we do not return soon.”
“And what of my friend?”
Namjoon didn’t have the heart to tell Taehyung that there was no way he could bring a common child back to the palace to play. Nor did he have the heart to explain why in front of the common child herself.
“There...is no room on my horse this time. Perhaps you’ll meet again when you finally make your debut in the village.”
Taehyung’s eyes grew wide at what was supposed to be Namjoon’s reassuring statement. He’d heard from his advisors enough times that he wouldn’t be debuting in the town until his 18th birthday, nearly Namjoon’s age. That would be ages from now, he knew. Which meant that he’d have to endure playing alone and wearing itchy layers and gloves and cloaks for another 11 birthdays.
“But—but I don’t want to leave her,” Taehyung sniffled as Namjoon hefted him up onto his hip. Namjoon ignored the beginning of the tears in favor of looking back down at the girl in front of him.
“Do you know how to get home from here, child?”
“Yes...sir.”
“Good.” He reached for a small animal skin pouch tied to his opposite hip and untied its leather drawstrings. The pouched jingled when he passed it to her and weighed heavy in her hands. “Hide this in your apron and don’t take it out until you get inside your home. Understood?”
The small girl chanced a look at Taehyung, whose lip was quivering with the silent dribble of frustrated tears, before nodding.
Namjoon turned and began making his way back to the horse he had tied nearby. Taehyung whipped his head around and dug his little hands into the hood of Namjoon’s deep blue cloak.
“I don’t want to leave, Namjoon.” Taehyung’s voice was watery but rang loud through the trees. “I want to stay with my friend. I’m going to stay with my friend!”
It was an empty promise, but the young girl still locked eyes with him and even gave a little wave as she watched the prince and his chaperone disappear into the tree line.
Tumblr media
3 weeks later you woke from your slumber to the grey-blue of early morning. Judging by the sky’s hue, you were certain you should be allowed at least a few more hours of sleep. But, at your mother’s request, you rose from your bed.
You wanted to complain about it not being fair, but you were too sleepy to think up a good complaint. So you let your mother drag a wet rag along your face and hands, and silently marveled when she put you in your good dress. You watched with sleepy eyes as she pocketed the small bag of gold coins you brought home nearly a month ago.
“Where we goin', Ma?” You asked after leaving the baker’s with a warm chunk of fresh bread in one hand and a hunk of cheese your mother bought in the other.
“To the palace,” she replied with furrowed brows. Almost like she couldn't believe it herself.
“Why?”
“The King has asked for all the families with daughters to pay him a visit.”
The King was a mysterious entity to you. You knew that you were supposed to be grateful to him, according to your mother. But you also knew that every year your mother would become frantic and take on as many jobs as she could to pay taxes to that same King. Without a father to help earn money for the household, you were convinced your mother worked harder than anyone in the town. Your hand found a nearby pleat in her long skirt when you were done eating and you walked a bit closer to her.
When you reached the castle, there was a long line. There hadn’t been many people in town earlier in the morning when you left home but you understood why then. Every family with a daughter was lined up before the palace doors. You didn’t even realize there were so many people in the kingdom.
Your mother stood in line while you stepped to the side to get a better view of all the daughters being escorted. Some girls you recognized as girls you played with on days when you finished your chores early. Other girls you’d never seen before. You weren’t sure what you were all there for, but you knew it must have been serious.
Despite the winding line ahead of you, it still wasn't noon when there were only a few families left between you and the palace entrance. Whatever the King wanted you there for, it was quick. Families that were ahead of you entered in, ushered by stern looking guards, and left almost as quickly as they came. Some parents left looking deeply relieved but others looked disgruntled at having to spend so much of the day in line only to be dismissed by the King so quickly.
Your mother stroked your hair gently as you neared the palace gates. It was something she did to calm herself down. Knowing that much, your heartbeat jumped into your throat when the guards finally ushered you in.
The palace’s high stone walls seemed to swallow you up as the daylight left and only torches lit the way down a long passage. The first hall you entered was much brighter than the hallway thanks to the windows lining the walls that looked onto the mountains. Two families ahead of you stood before a group of palace staff and a man in a large, ornate chair. The King, you realized. To his right, in a smaller chair, sat a young boy. He looked familiar and as you moved up in line, you recalled the prince you ran into weeks before. The hand you had bunched in your mother’s skirts tightened when you realized he was telling the truth and you had tackled a real prince.
“Come forward and let his Majesty see the girl,” called one of the guards.
Your mother bowed deeply before the King before pulling you forward and pushing you into a similar bow. The two of you stepped forward with your heads lowered. The same guard stepped forward then and laid a heavy hand between your shoulder blades to bring your closer to the King.
“Father’s name?” The King addressed you, eyes bored and looking through you. You turned back to your mother with nervous eyes.
“Her father fell ill when she was only a few moons old, your Majesty,” your mother called.
“They reside in the Western quadrant, your Majesty. Near the grain fields.” Another guard off to the side read off a long scroll. “The woman does sartorial tasks for coin.”
“I see.” The King then turned to his son beside him. “Taehyung, my boy. Is this she?”
The boy hopped off his perch and approached the place where you stood. Your mother had drawn your cloak's hood up to protect you from the early morning chill, but you kept it up because it felt safer while entering the palace. Taehyung didn’t make any move to pull the hood back, but crouched low enough to peer at you with a discerning look pinching his small features. As soon as he saw you, his eyes lit up.
“It’s you! It’s really you!”
“Thank the gods,” the King sighed. “Send the rest back, then. Let us finish this.”
At once the guards not holding you and your mother in place moved from their posts to guide the two families behind you back through the hallway. There was a low murmur running through the adults of the retreating families and some of the lingering court members.
“Do you know how to read?” Taehyung turned to you suddenly as the palace staff began milling around busily.
“N-no. Ma says it costs too much to attend the school for girls in the South.”
“That’s okay. You can come to my lessons with me.”
He reached out a gloved hand and tried to pull you away, but a guard leaned down to let him know that the King still had some words to exchange with you and your mother. You tried to stay quiet while the adults discussed something about you and your mother becoming part of the palace staff and moving into a house behind the palace. At some point your mother cried a little bit, but it didn’t seem like the times when she cried because you had to skip supper multiple days in a row.
Eventually Taehyung managed to get the guards to let you go outside. In a secluded part of the palace gardens he threw off his stuffy extra layers and gloves and took you by the hand with a gigantic grin. You quickly forgot about the heavy mood that radiated off your mother from earlier and made you match her quick breathing. Taehyung scooped up a tiny frog from a pond he led you to and deposited the creature into your hands, palms brushing and bell-like giggles leaving him.
And so it began.

BECOME A PATRON ~ BUY ME A COFFEE
Tumblr media
Y/N’s getting dressed as everyone is meeting in their bungalow, as Dean received big fucking news.
News that could mean that this will all be over sooner than she thought it would be.
She’s not sure if she should be happy or sad about it. Maybe both. Happy that they finally have proof that Amara played a stupid fucking game. Sad that their arrangement will eventually come to an end. Does she regret it, though? No, she definitely doesn’t. It was a decision she made and she owes everything that comes with it.
*
The others were still at the bar when Dean called Sam and so everyone is coming with him. She just hopes that they are still sober enough to process the news.
Sam’s the first to come in and he starts to laugh, “Dude, it stinks of sex in here!”
Ruby giggles behind him.
Dean and Y/N both look at each other before they lower their heads. Sam’s not wrong and it is actually kind of embarrassing.
Jack is the last to come in, and if he heard Sam’s remark, he pretends he hasn’t. He closes the door behind him, while the others make themselves comfortable on the couch.
Y/N stands behind the couch and Jack comes to stand beside her. Dean’s paces around the room. The laptop is propped up on the little coffee table.
“Chuck called,” Dean says when they all have settled, “Look at this,” He hits play on his laptop and they all have their eyes trained on it. She looks too, even if she’s seen it three times already.
It’s security footage of Dean’s night in Vegas. The night he married Amara.
They can see Dean, Chuck and Amara sitting around a table. A waitress in a skimpy outfit approaches with their drinks and sets it down. While the waitress sashays away, both men stare at her ass and that’s when Amara drops something into Dean’s drink.
“Yeah, alright, that was inappropriate,” Dean says and looks into the round before his eyes settle on Y/N, “Definitely never gonna do that again.”
She shrugs. It’s not like he has to explain himself. And especially not to her.
“So she really did drug you!” Sam grins wide and bright, “We have fucking proof!” He stands up and hugs his brother, “Does Amara know it exists?”
“Of course she doesn’t, Sammy!”
“Good, we keep it between us,”
“What does that mean now? Can you do something with it?” Dean asks.
“Duh! That’s good because it means that you don’t have to pretend anymore. As soon as the Amara case is over, you and Y/N can stop being married. We will make sure your marriage is annulled in a timely manner.” Sam says, and adds, “Or… we can go forward and sue Amara’s ass right away. If we’re lucky, we can get a court date sooner than the one we already have. Or we can just hold on to the tape and still wait for the annulment hearing and show it to the judge, and we can still sue her later.” Sam shrugs, “You decide.”
Dean gnaws on his bottom lip, “Yeah, I need some time to think.”
“Sure,” Sam says and pats Dean’s shoulder.
Tumblr media
She wakes with Dean spooning her from behind, his arms tight around her, his nose nuzzles against the back of her neck. He’s awake. She knows, because his heart’s beating faster than it would if he would still be sleeping. She has got Dean’s heart rate down to the tee by now.
“Did you sleep at all?” She whispers and lays her hand on his arm that’s around her. She strokes up and down and he holds her just a little tighter.
“Not much,” Dean mumbles, warm air hits the back of her neck.
“Have you decided?”
“I have,” He says, “We’ll wait til the hearing. It’s going to be in two weeks.” He kisses her skin, leaves his lips there and mumbles, “We still got two weeks.”
“Okay,”
Dean places another kiss on her bare shoulder, “You mind if we go home on Saturday?”
That would mean three days earlier than they were supposed to be leaving.
“No,” She says, “No, I don’t,”
“It’s just, I want to meet with Chuck and listen to his strategy and get Sam to get working on building a case. I want to be ready,”
“Dean, you don’t have to explain. It’s okay,” She turns around in his grip and he props himself up on one elbow to look at her.
“You sure?”
“Yeah,” She smiles, “Seven days in Jamaica is more than I could have ever asked for. We still have two days left, so it’s really no problem.”
Dean replicates her smile, “Good, we all fly home together. You can see your brother off,”
“Okay,”
He kisses her cheek, the corner of her mouth, hovers his lips there, “And we’ll go for dinner at my parents on Saturday evening,”
“Oh—”
Before she could say no, Dean kisses her, bruisingly hard because he knows that she doesn’t want to do that and he chuckles into the kiss. The little shit.
Tumblr media
The next few days went by fast. They went on a hike, and swam with dolphins. They did anything to get away from the resort to avoid Amara.
On their last night, they went out for a meal together. Everyone is tanned and happy, and she really likes it. Likes the sparkle in their eyes, likes the easiness of their group. Likes how they can make each other laugh. It’s easy with them and she wishes sometimes that Dean wasn’t her boss. He’d be a great friend. They’d all be a great group of friends, actually.
They were all going to go to the bar after the dinner and this time she agreed because it’s their last night, even though she still hasn’t packed. After the first drink, she notices Dean has been silent for a long time. As if there’s something that bothers him deep within. She can’t really read him and that is really frustrating.
He’s sitting on a bar stool and she’s standing just in front so she turns around, cradles his face in her palms. He hasn’t shaved, his scruff’s a little longer than it usually is.
Y/N places her forehead to his and feels his hot breath on her face, “You okay?”
He smirks, but it looks a little strained, “Yeah,”
She doesn’t believe him, but she kisses him, teases her tongue along his bottom lips. Dean kisses her back, slides his tongue next to hers, his one hand grips around her waist, fingers digging deep into her flesh while he holds her tight, as if he doesn’t want to let her go.
“I want you so bad,” Dean’s breathing hard when they break their kiss for air, “Let’s go,” He whispers, kisses her once more.
She licks her lips, bites down on it, and nods at him, “Okay,”
Standing up from his bar stool, he takes her hand in his, and calls into the round,  “We’ll see you tomorrow guys,”
They didn’t really pay them much attention. Jack’s talking with Sam while Ruby’s dancing on the dance floor.
He drags her along the pier, and she has to run to keep up, “Dean, not so fast!”
“Oh, I’m sorry Miss short legs,” He chuckles and gets even faster instead of slowing down.
As soon as they’re inside, he has her pinned against the door, kisses her hard and needy and his hands are around her thighs, lifting her up to carry her to the bed.
Dean drops her off and helps her out of her dress, all the while still kissing her. He kneels over her, his hands cups around her breasts, thumbs over both of her nipples. He drags his tongue along her throat down to them, sucks in a nipple one by one before he goes further down. His fingers hooking into her panties, taking them off her legs and then he gets off her and the bed completely before pulling her to the edge of the bed by her legs.
He kneels down on the floor, his hands on her knees as he spreads her. His eyes stare between her open legs for a while before he sticks out his tongue and licks across her clit. She arches her back at the sensation, her hand finds his head.
His fingers join his mouth, sliding two of them into her wet cunt as he continues to suck at her clit.
“Fuck—” She moans, her nails scratching at his scalp.
His fingers are curving up on the inside. They rub against her sensitive spot and she squirms below him because he sucks and hums at her nub.
“Oh my god, right there. Don’t stop, don’t stop,” She’s panting hard, her toes start to curl and then she has to close her eyes because of the pressure, “Fuck!” Her legs cramp up and she digs her nails deep into his head as she comes so hard she sees fucking stars.
Dean doesn’t stop to lick until her convulsions stop. She shudders all over and only then does he let go of her as he takes a step back to take off his shirt and pants, drags them down together with his underwear.
Y/N props herself on her elbows to look at him, and has to bite down on her bottom lips when she sees his hard cock, the top slightly pink.
He licks his hand and starts to jerk himself off when he walks closer, bending down to kiss her and his face is all wet from her cum.
“Move up the bed,” He whispers and she does, goes further up and lays her head on the pillow. Dean follows her, walks on his knees to where she's waiting.
Dean gets between her thighs and she spreads her legs for him. His one hand holding her open by her knee while his other hand’s holding his dick. He drags the head along her wetness, slicks it up before he pushes in slowly. Almost agonizing slow.
Before he bottoms out, he lays down, his one arm around her shoulder while the other one strokes along her thigh. He kisses her, sloppy and lazily, while he moves inside, goes in deep and slow. It’s different to the other times they fucked. It’s less rough, less raw. This is soft and gentle, it’s need, and heat, and want.
He kisses down her jaw, sucks at her pulse point, “So good,” He breathes against her skin, “You feel so good around me, baby,”
Y/N claws at his back as he claims her mouth again, kissing her deep, making her gasp into his mouth when she comes from his cock alone. He sucks in her tongue, bites on her bottom lip, grunts against her mouth when his body trembles with his release.
They stay connected, their bodies melt against each other while Dean still sprays kisses at all the places he can reach in this position.
After a while he lays his head on her shoulder, sucks in her skin. Dean pulls out gently to be able to lay his head on her chest and she strokes his head. She knows that he listens to her heartbeat.
His one hand lazily rubs at her sensitive clit and she jerks a little, feels his cum running out of her. He catches it with his fingers and brings it up to her mouth and she willingly opens her mouth to suck at them. He groans as he watches her suck his fingers clean, “You’re definitely something else,” He chuckles and kisses her again.
“Ugh, we still need to pack,” She whispers after a while of lying tangled together.
Dean lifts his head off her chest a little, “Just a little longer, okay?”
She kisses the top of his head, “Okay,”
*
They manage to drag themselves up to go brush their teeth and wash their faces. But packing would have been too much to ask for, so they end up setting their alarm an hour earlier than they needed to be up and crawl right back into bed.
Dean opens up his arms for her and she crawls in, lets him wrap his strong arms around her, let him kiss her forehead and stroke her back.
It feels right and she’s more than sad that this will be all over in two weeks time. But she can also count herself lucky because in these two weeks, she has felt more love than other people have in their lifetime.
*
She wakes in the middle of the night to Dean raining kisses all over her face. When he feels her stirring awake, he cups her chin and tilts her head up to kiss her properly.
His dick is hard. It stands out and pokes at her stomach and she takes it into her hand, jerks him slowly, making him groan into her mouth.
“Turn around,” He whispers, nibbles on her bottom lip.
Y/N does, turns around in his grip and Dean sprays kisses along her neck and shoulder. She feels the blunt head of his cock threading through her folds. It’s gotten wet again and it’s still filled with his cum from before. He slips in easily but instead of going in deep, his movements are slow and shallow.
Dean fucks her softly, his mouth latching onto her skin. It’s only about three thrusts of his hips later that he grunts into the base of her neck, lips ghosting over her skin.
He chuckles, drags his teeth along her flesh, “That was unexpected,” He places another kiss on her shoulder, “‘M sorry,”
She has to grin, but she doesn’t say anything.
They stay connected, Dean’s not pulling out, nor does he move away. Instead, he presses himself closer, holds her tight and she doesn’t know how long it takes but she eventually finds sleep.

Another 15x19 coda/15x20 fix-it? It’s more likely than you think. Anyway I think they should have delivered on the whole barn thing also feeling personally victimised by Lord Huron’s “The Night We Met”
on ao3
It’s a pull in his stomach.
It starts the moment they agree to check out the strange deaths of three IT professionals in the same small mid-western town.
He almost turns it down, says it’s was probably nothing, says they should probably let someone else take it. But he doesn’t
Sam hasn’t connected the dots. Then again why should he. He’d been off with Ruby or something. There’s no reason for him to even think of that night.
The hunt turns out to be a quick salt and burn. The three IT guys had stolen software from the company and the ghost of their ex-boss apparently couldn’t rest without vengeance.
These people need to get their priorities sorted. Dean thinks as he shovels dirt from the boss’s freshly dug grave while Sam stands watch for cops or security guards or the ghost or whatever else might decide to fuck up their night.
The body burns quickly and they’re able to head straight back to the motel. Done and dusted. Sam showers and then conks out almost immediately on his still-made bed.
Dean can’t sleep. Typical. He stares at the faded wallpaper on the dingy hotel room wall. The pull feels like a burning. He wants to throw up. But then again, he wants to throw up most of the time these days.
Grief’s a raw nerve ending. But it can’t last forever. He knows that. It’s not the first time he’s grieved. Not the first time he’s filled his days with drinking and nights with numbness.
But before there’d always been other things to distract him. After Sam there’d been Lisa and Ben, Sam and Jack after Cas and then Chuck and the end of the goddamn world after Mary.
He’s spent the better part of the last year wishing for nothing more than a chance to stop Chuck once and for all and now he almost wishes they hadn’t. Almost wishes that Chuck or Michael or Lucifer or just some damn bad guy would poke their head up and make his life miserable again. At least give him something he can fight. Some goal to work towards. Something he can defeat.
Because this. This he can’t do anything about. All he can do for this is turn through the motions and pretend that he’s ok.
The pull is in his chest.
Maybe it would help. Maybe it’s what he needs. Some kind of closure. Completing the circle bullshit or whatever.
He leaves just after 1am. Sam’ll be out for at least a few more hours. He leaves a note anyway on the cheap motel notepad – gone for a drink, will be back in the morning – Dean.
Sam won’t like it. He’ll be mad in the morning but he’ll be over it soon enough.
It takes almost two hours to get there. The roads all begin to look the same and he soon realises that despite having a good memory for locations it turns out finding a random barn you visited once twelve years ago isn’t as easy as he thought it would be.
He keeps driving. If nothing else it’ll be a way to pass the time and the search at least gives him something to do.
Eventually, he begins to see a few familiar signs. A dirt road with a twisted tree he recognises and it’s suddenly before him.
The barn’s still standing but the years haven’t been kind. Even more slats of wood are missing than before and one end is badly charred from a long-extinguished fire.
He parks Baby behind the barn, in the same spot he had twelve years prior and enters reverently like a parishioner to a church. There’s no need for a torch as the moonlight finds its way through the holes in the roof to bathe the floor in a cool blue light.
The pull turns to an ache.
The sigils are still there upon the walls. Hardly touched by graffiti over the years.
He makes his way down the centre of the barn, the dirt and grass crunching softly under his boots.
At the end of the barn he turns to face the doors.
There’s no breeze, they stand still. Firmly closed.
He doesn’t fall, just finds himself on the ground. His back against the wall and head raised to the sky. The heavens shine above him, stars in their multitudes glitter above.
Cas…
He breathes it out. It’s not a prayer. More a lamentation.
He prayed the first few nights. Racing after Chuck he prayed and he prayed and he hoped that Cas could hear him. But after Chuck was gone and the days started to blur praying became too much. It was just a reminder of the silence that would always face him.
In the stillness of the night there’s a flutter. A familiar sound.
Dean doesn’t move. His mind’s gotten particularly good at playing tricks on him lately.
“Dean?”
A silhouette against the closed barn doors. No sparks rain down. Permanently messy black hair and rumpled tan trench coat and skewwhiff blue tie illuminated by the pale moonlight.
“What are you doing here?”
The figure approaches him. His steps hesitant, nothing like the march under gunfire he’d made that night.
“Saw it on TripAdvisor. Apparently, this barn’s a top tourist attraction.” Dean replies with a crooked but mirthless grin.
Castiel stops, his head tilting.
They regard each other. Castiel’s eyes seem to brim with pain.
Dean’s are empty. He’s cried enough tears and he isn’t going to let some ghostly hallucination draw more from him now.
“Why are you here Dean?” The apparition’s voice is firmer, more demanding.
Dean sighs, tilts his head against the wall, “Just looking for some closure. A bit of sense I guess.”
His mind’s image is before him now, leaning down, reaching out-
A solid hand presses against his arm.
“Dean?”
Dean’s whole-body flinches. Visions can’t touch.
He stares up at the man before him, his eyes wide.
“Cas?” He breathes. “You’re not-”
“I’m sorry, I just saw you were here and… Jack was worried for you. He said I should talk to you.”
Dean tenses, “What do you mean saw? Jack-”
Visions of leaping up and embracing are dashed even as Cas begins to retreat.
“How are you here?” Dean demands, anger bubbling to the surface over any relief.
Cas hesitates, “Jack needed angels to rebuild heaven and well the Empty was getting crowded.”
“So he brought you back?”
“Among others.”
“You’ve been back this whole time.”
“Not the whole time.”
“How long?”
“I- I don’t know. Time is different in Heaven.”
“And you didn’t think to tell me. Me or Sam? I thought we were family Cas?!”
He finds himself on his feet. Words of anger coming so much easier than the tenderness he’s been holding near his heart
“We are. But I didn’t want to make things hard.”
“What the fuck does that mean Cas? What the fuck do you mean hard? Do you have any idea-”
Dean stops. He can’t. This is all his wanted for weeks. Months? He’s not sure. Time is different here too. And now Cas is standing in front of him and he just wants to fight.
Cas is staring at him. Cas is so close. Cas said he loved him.
“Why didn’t you come back?”
Cas looks to the ground.
Dean curses, slumps against the wall of the barn. Of course, it’s not what he thought. Why would it be?
“I used to come here often.” Cas’s voice cuts through the silence, gravel deep and rough.
Dean scuffs at the barn floor, “Why?”
“When I was questioning.” he says, “I would come here and I’d look at what you and Bobby had done. The sigils, the bullets, everything. You had no idea what you were facing. I- Heaven, Angels, it was something you couldn’t comprehend. Something so entirely beyond you. And you took your paints and your books and your weapons and you tried so hard to protect yourselves.  You were so scared. And this barn would remind me of that. That no matter what you said, how confident you were, The Plan was more than you and if you couldn’t even comprehend a single angel then what was the worth in listening to you.”
Cas comes and stands beside Dean. A solid space still between them.
“But then, when I was falling… I kept coming here. And looking at this place.  You were so scared. The warding, the weapons, you were just trying to cover up your fear. But it was also your bravery. You knew that this was something bigger than you’d ever seen. Something you couldn’t understand and you were terrified. But that didn’t stop you from trying, from going for it with everything you had because you knew confronting your fear was better than it letting it fester and control you. I was afraid, of everything knew I was feeling. Of falling. But this place reminded me that I couldn’t let that stop me from doing the right thing. Even if I was scared…”
Cas falls quiet. The night air lies stale and still between them. Dean almost wishes it was storming but all is quiet.
“I’m still scared.”
“What are you scared of now?” Dean asks, barely a whisper.
Cas frowns, chews over his words.
“I’m afraid you won’t ask me to stay”
Dean’s eyes met Cas’s and the air becomes electric for a moment.
“What are you afraid of Dean?”
Dean can barely breathe.
“I’m afraid you’ll leave.” He wants to look away but he forces himself to hold Cas’s gaze. “Cas, please stay.”
“I won’t leave Dean.” He says, barely a whisper.
“Good.”
He looks away. He can’t hold that gaze. Doesn’t know what to do with the energy vibrating between them. So he does what he knows, he looks away and tries to brush it off.
“It’s good to have you back Cas.” He says to the wall ahead of him.
He feels a hand on his sleeve. Cas reaching out to him. He turns back to him and suddenly finds himself in a bone crushing hug.
“It’s good to be back.” Cas whispers into his shoulder.
And if Dean holds onto that hug a little longer than he should, if his head turns to breathe in the scent of ozone and that missing storm and home that lingers on Cas, nobody needs to know. If he should really take this moment and kiss the miracle of an angel standing before him but he doesn’t – well, there’ll be another moment he tells himself. There’ll always be another moment.
Cas breaks the hug first, pulls away and Dean almost doesn’t let him. But Cas doesn’t go far. He raises a hand to cup Dean’s face, and he’s got that same look on his face that he had that night.
There’s something Dean should say.
Cas pulls his hand away.
They separate and then they’re in the car and they’re going back to the motel and Sam’s hugging Cas and asking questions and the moment’s gone and Dean can’t stop looking at him but the tugging feeling hasn’t gone. There’s still that sense of grief and he doesn’t know how to fix it.
No. He does know how to fix it. He’s just afraid.
-
They drive straight back to the bunker – back home. They don’t talk much but between the music Sam fills the silence. He calls Eileen who says she’ll meet them when they get back. She’s happy to hear about Cas.
Maybe Dean’s still angry. It’s been three days and he’s barely talked to Cas. It’s better than it was before. He can eat now, he can sleep and every day doesn’t feel like a rusty nail being dug into his gut.
He told Cas to stay but every time he sees him he can’t help but feel that Cas is just itching to leave. He can feel it radiating off him. He left all of heaven and his son to be here. To be with a human who hasn’t even been able to articulate what he wants after this angel gave everything for him.
The third night Sam and Eileen go out for dinner. Sam tries to invite Dean and Cas along in the kitchen over lunch and Dean just gives him a confused look. “No, I don’t want to go on your date Sam.”
Sam shrugs, “Suit yourself.”
Cas comes down to the kitchen after they leave.
“Where’s Sam and Eileen?”
“Went out for dinner.”
“Oh.”
They stand for a moment in the kitchen before Cas goes to leave.
“Do you wanna watch a movie?”
It’s an easy suggestion. Not that he really wants to watch anything. He just doesn’t want Cas to walk out again. Needs some reason to keep him here without actually having to talk about it.
“Ok.” Cas says.
-
They end up on Sam’s Netflix account. So, Dean can snoop and judge more than anything. There’s a half watched terrible looking Netflix original film in his Continue Watching section.
“What the hell Sammy?” Dean says as he hovers over the description.
“Maybe it was Eileen?”
“Hell no, Eileen has much better taste.”
“Was it you then?”
Dean shoots him a stinky look. “No, I have better taste.”
“We should watch it.”
“Really?”
“You’re always insisting I watch “classics” and “good films”. I think we should watch bad things too.”
“Ok.”
They play the film. It’s as terrible as the description suggested. Within five minutes Dean’s cackling at the bad CGI. The dialogue is as clichéd as anything and he’s never seen a man look so stilted while professing his undying love.
Beside him Cas is smiling– almost laughing.
He pauses the movie two acts in.
“I need to take a break.”
“Are we giving up?”
“No, we’re finishing this. I’m just gonna get popcorn.”
He comes back with the popcorn and sits back down next to Cas.
Cas reaches in and takes a handful of popcorn.
“Hey!”
“I thought it was for sharing.”
“Yeah, but you don’t need to eat. I thought it was all molecules to you anyway?”
“I like the texture.”
Dean doesn’t know why his cheeks flush at that. He doesn’t know why he sat down so much closer to Cas. Or rather he does know but he’s not sure if it’s the moment yet.
He starts the movie again.
At least it is a moment. For the first time since Cas came back things feel right.
He looks across at Cas, the angel of the lord that stormed that barn twelve years ago, taking rounds of bullets to his chest without flinching, as he shoves popcorn that he can’t even taste properly into his mouth and laughs at this stupid Netflix movie.
A smile crosses his face.
There’s something he should say.
Cas moves to rest his head on the back of the sofa. He’s got a content smile on his face. He looks like he wants to be here.
“I’m afraid you won’t ask me to stay”
“I love you too Cas.”
He barely registers the words coming out of his mouth.
Cas turns to him, the content smile gone from his face.
“Dean?”
“I don’t really know what you meant. And I’m terrified that we both mean two different things but I just need you to know that I’m so glad you’re back and- Cas you mean so much to me and I’ve been such a dick since you got back but I just don’t want you to go. I just want you to stay and I need you to know before I fuck this up anymore that I love you too… I love you Cas.”
The words stream out of him all of a sudden and Cas is staring at him his mouth slightly ajar.
God, did I look this stupid, Dean thinks.
Cas moves his hand like he’s going to do something with it but it’s still filled with popcorn. He looks at it for a moment. Dean pushes the bowl towards him and he puts the popcorn back in.
The moment feels awkward again but thank God Cas seems to be committed.
He cups Dean’s cheek. His fingers are buttery and it’s kind of gross.
“I- I love you too Dean. And I want to stay. I don’t want to go back to heaven, and I haven’t for a long time. I just want to stay here like this… with you.”
“Ok.”
It’s Dean who leans forward, takes the final leap and presses his lips feather soft against Cas’s. He leans awkwardly, hyper aware of not spilling the bowl of popcorn in his lap. Cas shifts closer so that he can properly kiss him. He tastes like popcorn and ozone and Cas.
They break apart but not far. Dean can feel the ghosts of Cas’s smile against his lips and his breath on his cheek.
The moment’s interrupted by a sudden chorus of loud rap from the movie.
They both turn back to the screen briefly.
“Why the hell are they all dressed as carrots?”
“I have no idea.” Cas replies.
He smiles again and looks over to Dean, their noses almost touching. “You do realise this is now going to be our movie.”
Dean’s eyes go wide, “Absolutely the fuck not.”

Accidental villain jaune: judgment
Jaune took a deep breath as he walked into the light of the stage, he barely heard the sounds of his introduction or the sounds of the audience’s polite applause. This was too important for someone like him to handle and yet here he was the only person who had actually tried to do this. He took a deep breath, letting the memories of his time with yang filter through calming him. Reminding him that even if everything went wrong, that even should the worst befall him and his enemies destroy all he built.
They’d still be there, they’d still love him.
All that was left to do was show them the levels of devotion he had for them and build a better world for them to live in.
He smiled at using their memories for strength and opened his mouth, his voice clear and confident, a little deeper than natural but hey he was a ruler, and lords were known for their lies.
Even the small ones.
Thank you for that introduction, Elbasan, and thank you for the invitation to speak in defense of my ideals. It is a privilege to be here, as a representative of Patch to offer my thoughts on a topic that is vital to Patch’s future: how institutions and individual citizens can work together to strengthen the rule of law and make Vale a more just society.
First, let’s define the terms.  We often talk about “rule of law” in Vale, and I think the dictionary definition is pretty clear: the principle that all people and institutions are subject to and accountable to law that is fairly applied and enforced.
In democracies like the Atlas and Vale, writing, interpreting, and enforcing the law is the formal responsibility of the government, the council,  but it is also the responsibility of citizens to participate in ensuring that—I will say it again—all people and institutions are subject to and accountable to law that is fairly applied and enforced.
The glory of justice and the majesty of law are created not just by the King– nor by the Council – nor by the officers of the law – nor by the lawyers – but by the men and women who constitute our society – who are the protectors of the law as they are themselves protected by the law.
But I submit to you that following the law is only one element of justice. Now, what do I mean by justice? Try Searching the word, as I did while writing this speech, and you’ll find some vague and unhelpful definitions. For example: “Justice is the quality of being just.”
Jaune smirked as the audience chuckled, he was on a roll now he had to do was keep up the momentum
“So “justice” is hard to define, but having seen many kingdoms, I’ve come to realize that attitudes about justice often deeply reflect history and culture.”
“In some places, history and culture dictate an emphasis on strict administration of written laws—written by a legislature or perhaps derived from religious texts—to ensure fairness and impartiality.”
“Citizens are expected to accept a court ruling, even if it is negative. In other places, people view the law more as a general guideline, but if a court rules against them, they are quick to dismiss the decision and assert their own definition of fairness.”
“This is frequently true where a minority group believes, perhaps with good reason,” Jaune quickly emphasized as he raised a hand in a placating manner to stave off the shouts and arguments that were sure to come
“That their government does not offer them equal protection under the law, or even that laws which were written specifically to disenfranchise them and deny them equal justice. And in some places, people are raised with the idea that providing opportunities for family or friends is more important than any responsibility to an abstract law or to society as a whole. I’ll be coming back to this point in just a moment, trust me when I say that it affects that greatly.”
He took a breath looking out over the masses of people all waiting for the other shoe to drop.
“This would be a good place for me to say that The Kingdom of Vale, the birthplace of democracy, is still struggling to build a society where all citizens and residents can be confident of equal protection under the law.”
No one spoke too enraptured by his speech, by the confidence in which he spoke the truth, to offer an argument
“So, I don’t want to give you the impression that building a just society is easy, or that Vale has all the answers. But we understand the importance of the goal of equality under the law, and we keep fighting to make it a reality.”
He took a breath drinking a glass of water even as his thoughts went back to his girls, to the women he loved more than anything. To the people who gave him a home after he had lost everything save his sister
“Let’s talk about Patch for a moment. I submit that an expansive view of justice, a concept that includes equal rights and opportunities, equal protection under the law, and confidence that government officials will be held accountable to the people, would create hope for Patch’s youth and confidence among Patch’s partners.”
“This view of justice expands its benefits to all of society, but what are the benefits of living in a just society with equality for all?”
“I believe that a just society is a more peaceful society, not without disagreement, but with established, non-violent means for working out differences among groups, and between citizens and government. In a just society, people feel that justice has been served when they understand how decisions are made, even if they don’t agree with the final result.”
“Finally, a just society is the foundation of a peaceful, prosperous society. A society in turmoil—a society without the predictability that rule of law brings—is a less attractive place for entrepreneurship and job creation.”
“Justice—the kind that protects all citizens equally—requires consistency and predictability, and respecting and implementing court decisions is an obligation of government agencies. Where rule of law is respected, court decisions are not open to negotiation or personal interpretation.”
“But, by embracing justice based on equal rights and opportunities, rule of law, and accountability for all of Patch’s citizens, you can ensure Patch achieves a brighter future. A future in which people succeed based on merit and talent. A future in which all citizens, faunas, and humans, enjoy equal opportunity.  A future in which no person is above the law, and no person fails to receive the protections of the law.”
“The first step in this is the idea that I have put before you. The ideals of a trial by a jury of your peers, and that all defendants are innocent until proven guilty.”
I won’t lie to you on this, these ideas are radical,” he stressed, making sure to get across the trepidation that even he felt at moving so far so fast.
“but these are the first steps, and every individual citizen has a role to play in upholding the rule of law.”
“Expect more from your elected officials, the establishment of democracy in Vale was a gift from the last king.” “Expect politicians, police, prosecutors, and judges to meet their responsibilities of providing justice fairly, equally, and with honor.”
“Engage in formal legal processes, even if it takes more time and effort. Invest in justice institutions and hold them accountable to ensure that they live up to the ideals enshrined in the bedrock of your rich and multi-ethnic society.”
“Finally, expect more from your fellow citizens in building a just society.”
“I thank you for your attention and look forward to a frank and open discussion of these issues. If you’ll allow me to, I’d like to close with one more statement that I hope will stick with you.”
This was it, the final blow
“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny.”
Jaune bowed as rapturous applause moved through the auditorium he’d borrowed from signal, due to the government building of patch being too small for his conference. But as Jaune flashed a brilliant smile to the cameras and waved to the crowds before him, he couldn’t help but wonder what Yang and Ruby had thought of his speech.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“you know I figured you'd be more impressive up close" said a voice from within the hallways of signal, the steady rhythm of her heals signaling her approach
jaune raised an eyebrow at the declaration "while I do hate to disappoint a lady, I'm not sure what you're talking about" he said with a small smirk as he turned to look at none other than weiss schnee.
"you," she said standing a little straiter "there's been much talk about you, how you're an up in comer but all I see is a man spread thin, you have the start of a business, you have the start of an army, you're a powerful combatant I'll grant you. definitely the best of our generation. but that's it. I find myself..." she trailed off for a moment "wanting more"
jaune chucked "well, that's the business we're in I suppose but I think you've made a pretty large mistake on where my capabilities lie." he leaned back against the wall relaxing as he saw the Schnee grill raise her eyebrows
"and just what abilities am I overlooking?" she asked in a huff
"I'm very good at making friends"
a scoff was her response "you think that will make a difference? having friends? you're a child"
jaune smiled "no, I'm a realist. recent events have stressed that I have no real ability to do everything myself. I can hardly protect the people close to me as is. so I need more power. the best way to do that is to make friends. not just for political power, or economic power, but for personal power. for peace of mind. I have been... arrogant, I'll admit. I thought myself an island untouchable by all around me due to my power.” “but the loss of a friend has shown that I am still only a man." jaune stood to his full height "miss schnee I hope you understand what I'm saying. perhaps I am above others, they have made it apparent that they want me to be there, but I have long since moved past the childish ideals of doing everything on my own. Do you want to know why the world has been watching me? it's because when I listen to others. while your father has traded the respect and good name of your family and company for the short term gain of lein, I have garnered a reputation. it alone is not enough but I do have plans,"  he let loose a little further with his aura, reveling in the power he had over others "when I speak people listen, that is far more than a spoiled child like you can say"
there was a long silence before jaune turned away walking past the watching girl
from over his shoulder jaune called out "if you're interested, you may tag along. I can only imagine you'd learn far more from me than from your petty dictator of a father"
he didn't need to look back to know Weiss was angry, but that was a victory too.
she'd be thinking about him all month.
next chapter we go to beacon for real, i’ve already got it written up.

[Lewd!!!!]
Anniversaries, they’re important as hell. You would think after the first one that it would be less important or you don’t have to be as extravagant. That’s really stupid logic, and luckily Oscar wasn’t stupid. However, he was sad. Today marked the three year anniversary with Penny as his girlfriend but she had work tonight. Now he was in his shared apartment watching movies on the couch upside down with Jaune. It wasn’t terrible, but Oscar would much rather be doing his best to show Penny a good time at the beach picnic he’d plan. The moon was full tonight and everything!
The movie soon reached its credits and Jaune looked over at his clearly lovesick roommate. “Wanna watch another movie?”
“I didn’t really want to watch this one, and why am I the only one watching these upside down?”
Jaune tilted his head to see the boy's expression. “Because I was tired of seeing that sad pouty face. Buck up! You rescheduled your date for this weekend. That’s two days away!”
“But it feels less special…” Oscar groaned.
Jaune looked at him in disbelief. “I swear you’re just a male Ruby. She thinks like that.”
“I don’t know how I feel about that coming from you. Are you coming on to me Jaune?” Oscar smirked to make him uncomfortable. “Did you pick me as a roommate because I remind you of your girlfriend? How scandalous.”
Jaune chucked a pillow at Oscar and caused him to fall over on the floor and laugh. Jaune would be mortified but at least Oscar was smiling.
“Do not make those jokes young man! I fully believe Ruby would be down to clown with both of us now that you’re eighteen.”
“Uhh, I’m taken, remember?”
“Do you honestly believe Penny wouldn’t okay it? Ruby set you two up and your girlfriend is nice enough to let Ruby pull a crazy idea like that.”
Oscar’s face turned a little red. Jaune was not wrong. Penny would totally say “sounds neat” then give him a thumbs up. That was the thing about dating her, she was curious about everything the world had to offer. Especially with relationships. Not that he wasn’t, but such an idea was….
“Keep your mind out of the gutter Oscar.” Ozpin chimed in, internally. “Typical, haven’t slept with anyone and yet you fantasize the more advanced things. Oh virgins.”
Oscar’s face got redder.“Shut up! Just because you know I thought about it doesn’t mean you gotta bring it up.”
“Someone has to call you out on it.”
“Then let it be the person who actually pays rent.”
“Oh I’m sorry, who got you your job? Who works the night shifts when you’re sleepy? Maybe I should lock myself away whenever it’s time to pull a double?”
Oscar sucked on his teeth for a minute. “Oz…” he said kindly, “Let’s not fight, or do anything drastic.”
“Look at the tv.” Oz said bluntly.
Oscar looked at it to see his reflection. It crossed its arms and rolled its eyes before returning to normal. Oscar knew he was the only one seeing that but it never stopped being weird. Especially after the marathon of horror movies he did with Penny one time. Oz made sure to use every scare tactic imaginable that night. He just can’t help himself sometimes.
Jaune finally found another to watch but didn’t get the chance to play it. The doorbell rang, causing him to spring up and answer it.
“Expecting someone?” Oscar asked.
Jaune looked through the peephole and smiled. “Kinda sorta” he opened the door and Penny jumped inside the room wearing Oscar’s green flannel and ripped blue jean shorts: along with brown snow boots. A picnic basket was on her left shoulder and Ruby around her right.
“Happy Anniversary!!!”
“PENNY!!?” Oscar screamed. He immediately stood up to look less lame and opened his arms to his rapidly approaching girlfriend. He wasn’t expecting her to jump into his arms though. Oscar braced his body for impact but was surprised when she landed in his arms no heavier than a regular girl. 130 pounds at best, which was nothing to him. He could swing her.
“Hey you’re in you’re in your polymer shell. I thought you had work?”
Ruby raised her hand. “I stole her.”
Jaune and Oscar looked at each other highly concerned. They didn’t need Atlas military busting down their door and dragging them to jail. Ruby broke out into a laugh from their expressions.
“Relax, I’m just joking. We begged James. He’s such a softie.”
“I’ve also put in more hours than usual in preparation for this day!” Penny kissed Oscar’s cheek and couldn’t hide her excitement. Not like she ever did. In a way, she was like Ruby but more outgoing. Oscar couldn’t help but think about what Jaune said earlier. Maybe Jaune saw all of us like Ruby. That’s a weird thought.
As happy as he was, Oscar couldn’t help notice the picnic basket.
“Penny, is that for the food?”
“Of course! What else would I use it for?”
Oscar let out a defeated sigh. “I don’t know but we should figure that out because I didn’t cook anything because we rescheduled.”
Penny opened her mouth but nothing came out. She turned to Ruby who was face palming. Jaune clapped his hands together and mimicked Oscar’s sigh.
“Welp! At least you two are together!” Jaune smiled, saving the positive energy in the room.
“Yeah!” Penny tossed the basket on the couch. “Home cooking isn’t the most important thing. Who needs it?”
Ruby went to their fridge and opened it. She couldn’t believe just how food was stuffed in it. Oscar was going all out this time. Ruby closed the fridge and pulled out their pots. “New plan, the two of you cook the food and have dinner here. It would suck for the food to spoil.”
Oscar thought about it. “What about you two?”
“It’s an anniversary, not a double date. We’ll just go to my place.” Ruby answered.
“Why does this sound like an elaborate plan for you to sleep with Jaune?”
“Hahaha! I don’t need a plan for that.” Ruby smiled at Jaune but he squinted at her.
“Just because it’s true doesn’t me you have to say it.” He grabbed his shoes and took his girlfriend by the hand to leave.
Ruby waved her friends goodbye and winked before closing the door. Oscar thought Ruby was a little more gitty than usual. It had been a couple of weeks since her and Jaune were together so something was bound to go down between them. Penny took off her shoes and put her hands on Oscar’s shoulders. She positioned him over the couch and made him sit.
“Ummmm Penny?”
“Since I made the plans derail, I’ll cook and you find something nice to put on for the both of us okay?”
“But that’s kinda unf-”
Penny leaned down and pressed her lips gently against Oscar’s. The kiss felt like it was minutes long but must’ve only been several seconds. Strange, it felt a little warmer than usual. Penny pulled back and smiled her usual beautiful smile, then walked to the kitchen. That kiss scattered Oscar’s thoughts, so he stared at the tv for a minute before remembering to find a movie. If he objected then Penny would simply stun him with another kiss. A nice way to say “shut up”but she’d probably end up burning food if he constantly distracted her.
Oscar grabbed the remote and began scrolling, his reflection in the tv moving on its own again. It paced from side to side while rubbing his chin.
“Don’t you find this a bit odd?” Oz asked.
“Yeah, please stop walking in front of the synopsis.”
“That’s not what I- sorry.” He stepped to the side. “I was referring to your anniversary.”
“What’s so odd about it?”
“You had plans, had to reschedule, then the plans went back to normal unexpectedly, but it’s fine because Ruby already had a solution that works well for everyone. Even Mr. Arc didn’t seem too surprised.”
Oscar shrugged, “You think too much.”
“Gah! So you’re not even going to entertain the idea of something going on? Though I suppose since Penny can’t lie, this could really be coincidence.”
The clicking and presses slowly came to a halt. Now he was rubbing his chin. What Oz said was true. Penny can’t lie because she’ll hiccup however, she didn’t tell him in person. Penny texted him and Ruby can plan tricks as easy as killing grimm. Oz sensed Oscar’s doubt.
“You know I’m right. No way they would just forget that you were in charge of food and had to cook it. I’m sure there’s a harmless explanation but you know, keep your wits about.”
“I could just ask her.”
“Boring but effective. Whatever floats your boat.” Oz finally left the young man alone to his devices. Oscar didn’t appreciate the jab he just took.
“Pfft, you’re boring.” Oscar directed his attention to Penny. She was so focused on preparing the meal that she hadn’t noticed he was looking right at her. He really was lucky to have her. She would probably say Oscar was exaggerating but he genuinely believed that she gave him all the happiest he could ever ask for. Days simply couldn’t be terrible as long as Penny stood by him, even when things got rough. Scheme or no scheme, Oscar didn’t worry. He knew Penny. Good intentions ran through her more than anybody else on Remnant.
xxxx
“Food’s ready!” Penny chanted as she carried two plates with steak, sliced potatoes, and fresh greens over to the small coffee table in front of the tv so they can watch movies while they eat. Oscar never got enough of her smile. It might’ve been because he was a little hungry and he knew her cooking was better than his but right now, Oscar wanted to marry this girl. One day hopefully, on another anniversary.
“Have I ever told you how happy I am to be with you?”
Penny’s face grew a little red. “All the time, and yet it still feels unreal admittedly.” She rubbed the back of her head and laughed sheepishly. “I don’t think I’ll ever get over it.”
Oscar gave her a quick kiss and smiled. “Happy anniversary. Wait here while I get your gift.”
Her eyes lit up with excitement as she watched him walk off to his room and come out with a small rectangular box. “Aww, you didn’t have to get me anything.”
“Penny, you built me a car last year. I can’t reach that level of awesome but I’m at least going to spoil you every chance I get. It would be a crime if I got you nothing.”
“You make it sound like building a car would be hard. It’s way easier than most of the things Atlas military creates on a daily basis.”
“No matter what you say, you’re not gonna downplay that gift. Anyways…” he handed her the box.
Penny wasted no time unwrapping the paper and opening it.The girl’s eyes got bigger and let out a gasp. “Oscar, is this…” she pulled out a golden chain that had a heart shaped locket on it that had intricate carvings of what looked like branches. Her finger lifted the top up and inside was two gears that spun. One green, and the other orange.
“No matter the inside, you’re as natural as nature itself.” Oscar said. “I’m not the greatest at making things like this but-”
“I love you.”
Her words caught him off guard and made his heart skip a beat. He looked at his girlfriend who had gotten a little teary eyed. She put the locket on and gave a heartfelt smile. “Well, how does it look?”
“Perfect…” that was all Oscar could manage to say. He didn’t know why but he felt so embarrassed. She never failed to make him feel so flustered. That’s love for you, it always made every minute feel extraordinary and uncharted territory.
“So...I guess it’s my turn to explain my present to you.” Penny said, anxiously rubbing her finger across the couch cushion.
“Man, I thought the highlight was the surprise appearance and you cooking dinner. There’s more?”
“Oh yeah.” Penny laughed nervously. “Oscar, you know you always say that you’re perfectly happy with the way things are between us, despite us not necessarily being a normal couple?”
“Yeah, why?” Penny could hear a bit of concern in his voice and started getting frazzled.
“Don’t worry! I feel the same way!” A hiccup came out right as she finished that statement, making her cover her mouth instinctively. Now Oscar looked really concerned.
“Umm, you sure about that?” He asked, pensively.
This conversation was going nowhere fast. Penny tried to do collateral damage as fast as she could.
“No no no, it’s not what you think! Honestly I’m super happy. It’s just….”
Oscar raised his eyebrow and tilted his head. “Just…?”
This was harder to say than Penny thought. The words were there but she couldn’t put them together right. All that information at her disposal and here she was, struggling with simple sentences. Penny took a deep breath and started over.
“Oscar, you love me the way that I am. You’ve had since the beginning. I didn’t have to change a single thing about me but I did anyway so we could enjoy each other’s company better. Like this polymer model so we could do things like go swimming.”
“Yeah, sinking to the bottom of a lake wasn’t the best first date experience.”
They both chuckled at that memory. Time sure did fly.
“Precisely. Then there were other upgrades over time to help me feel more human. Receptors for, taste, eating in general, heat, touch…” her trailed off.
Oscar’s focus was broken for a moment when the sound of Oz’s voice started speaking to him.
“Oscar I’m going to lock myself in your head for awhile so don’t expect any help with anything. Good luck.”
He wasn’t sure what Oz meant by that but he didn’t get the chance to ask before he felt the man’s presence leave. Oscar focused on Penny again who had gotten closer to him on the couch. There was practically no space between them as they sat side by side.
Oscar felt Penny take his hand. Had she always been this warm? Felt this...soft? It was more natural than usual. Maybe she got another upgrade? That was common.
“Oscar, I...I feel so normal around you. Things that usually make me feel out of place, well I don’t get that feeling with you.”
“I feel the same way. As far as I’m concerned, we are a normal couple Penny.”
“Then shouldn’t we be doing normal couple things? The things Ruby and Jaune do?”
That question lingering in the air momentarily for Oscar as his girlfriend stared at him, red blush spread across her face. His own face started to get red the more he acknowledged what Penny had just said. He watched the girl lean closer to him until he had no choice but to prop himself up with his forearm as Penny took the bold move to straddle him. She gently took his hand and placed it on her right boob, squeezing it slightly. Oscar felt like he was about to pass out.
“P-Penny?”
“I didn’t have work today.” She admitted. “With the help of Ceil, Ruby and I managed to get me some upgrades I’ve wanted for a while. Like better touch sensitivity, the way my skin feels, and other...components.”
Both of them were a blushing mess at that last part. Oscar was smart enough to know what she meant. The reason however, that escaped him a little.
“Why go through all this? I mean, I never went into this expecting you to do something like this for me.”
“Because even if you’re happy with me emotionally, I don’t want to rob you of the physical experience a real girl could provide. I know you try and I hide it but you’re still a boy with needs.”
He couldn’t deny that. There were many times he looked at Penny or thought of her in a physical way that made his imagination go a little rampant. He was young after all, and she was so beautiful. Oscar felt a little guilty for not being upfront about it with her and avoided her gaze. Penny reached for his face though and turned it back towards her. She wanted to see those beautiful eyes of his when she confessed.
“ I did it for myself as well. Oscar I want to be close to you, feel connected to you. Doing this, is a thing I put a lot of thought into. I wanna try at least once. So please, will you have sex with me?”
She was nervous, down right terrified of what Oscar might say. Was this too much as once? Would he deny her request? Oscar was just looking up into her eyes silently with no indication on what was going through his mind. Penny was beginning to think this was a terrible mistake and removed his hand. She started to move off of him when Oscar suddenly sat up. His hand wrapped around her waist and Penny yelped as he placed her on his lap. Now they’re face to face, inches away from each other with red tint darker than Ruby’s hair.
“Oscar?” Penny whispered, anxiously waiting for him to speak. The way he leaned in compelled her to do the same.
“Penny, stop saying you’re not a real girl.” Oscar pressed his lips against hers. He could feel them tremble slightly before returning the embrace with more than equal force, rubbing Oscar’s chin at slightly pulling down on it to slide her tongue in. The sudden act gave Oscar shivers and made him pull her in closer. This wasn’t their first kiss like this, but it was definitely the first time it made Oscar this anxious. The tension he felt right now to stop himself from going too far or fast felt like he was playing tug o'war against a Goliath. That feeling went away the moment a small and fleeting warmth hit his face. Oscar broke off the kiss to see Penny teary eyed. The girl let out a giggle and started wiping them away.
“Penny are you okay? Did I-”
“Don’t worry, it’s not you. Well it is you technically.” She lightly giggled again. “I’m just really happy right now, that’s all. Let’s keep going okay?”
Her arms went on either side of his shoulders and wrapped around. Oscar gave the girl what she wanted and went right back to kissing her. She felt warm, very warm. Oscar couldn’t explain it but made him want to touch her more. Before he knew it, Oscar had leaned forward until Penny had no choice but to lay down on the couch and let him hover over him, not that it bothered her one bit. To see him be this into it was exciting to say the least.
The feel of his lips ended again when Oscar had no choice but to catch his breath Penny was ready for him to come back for more but was surprised when his face went past her own. Suddenly her body flinched the moment she felt him kiss and nip at her neck. Now she really didn’t know what to feel! This was something he hadn’t done before but it made her hard to lay still. His teeth gently grazed her until one nip sunk in more than the others.
“Aaa~” a moan finally slipped out from her and Penny quickly covered her mouth while Oscar stopped to look at her, also surprised. He honestly wasn’t sure if that was going to do anything for her. Apparently it did.
“You good?” He smirked.
Penny nodded and uncovered her mouth. “I don’t think I’ve ever made that sound before.”
“Well...today is going to be full of it hopefully.” Oscar grabbed the bottom of his orange shirt and pulled it over his head, freeing him from the stuffy fabric.
Penny only watched from underneath him. It was hard to believe when they first met that he was shorter than her and tiny. Now he was 5’10 and had a physique of an expert huntsman. His shoulders had gotten broad and there was practically no fat on him. His chest widened out and he was cut! Ruby had compared him to a pro swimmer before. His skin had gathered a handful of scars over the years. A couple along his torso and a few more faded ones on his arms. She was pretty sure there was more on his back too. Him and Jaune were almost the same bulk. It made her wonder if Jaune had looked like Oscar at fourteen. That thought was interrupted when the feeling of his fingertips went across her collarbone and down to the first bottom of her shirt. He had kept his gloves on for some reason but honestly, Penny thought it was pretty attractive. Ruby has clearly influenced her taste.
It only took a few seconds for Oscar to unbutton her shirt completely.
“Woah...” Oscar said without thinking.
He hadn’t noticed earlier but she wasn’t wearing a bra like usual, probably so he wouldn’t fumble with it. Today really was planned. That didn’t make seeing Penny’s bare chest any less of a hurdle. They were somewhere in the middle of Weiss and Ruby’s, but perkier. Not to mention her nipples were real pink and a little puffy.
Penny could feel his stare on her and it made her turn her head to the side. Something about it made it really hard to think and breathe a little heavier, which only made Oscar more turned on. It didn’t help that she was technically still in his shirt and the necklace he just gave her dangled around her neck.
“You’re breathtaking…”
His words made her face feel hot and ears red. “Can you not stare too much? It’s embarra-ahhh!”
Oscar’s hands gently grabbed the orbs and massaged them as he bent down and started kissing her stomach, scattered with freckles.
His kisses were slow and deliberate. Causing Penny to moan or gasp anytime his tongue pressed against her before his lips sucked on that spot as he made his way down her now arching body.
“Oscar…” was all she could manage to moan. How was he so good at this? Was he good, or was she a lightweight like Ruby had described to her? She just knew she liked this feeling. It was easy to understand why people talked up sex, why Oscar was so clearly eager despite not telling her directly. Her eyes shut tightly every time his thumbs methodically traced around her nipples, causing her to suck air in through her teeth. The fact this was foreplay only made Penny more excited for the main part.
Finally she was given a moment to relax. Penny propped herself up with one forearm to see Oscar unbuckle her shorts. Penny raised her hips up again for him to pull the fabric off, flinging it on the ground. Despite the flannel, she only had frilly pink panties on now that had become more than a little damp. Oscar thought now would be a good time to remove his own pants. He sat up to undo them but Penny unexpectedly grabbed his wrist. Her face at waist level to him as she was on her hands and knees, while Oscar rested on his knees.
“Let me.” She said in a voice that Oscar couldn’t begin to describe, but it made him gulp. Penny’s nimble fingers made quick work of the button and purposely slow work of the zipper. Oscar lifted one leg up at a time for her to pull his pants off. Now they were more or less in the same boat in terms of nudity. Penny couldn’t help but stare at the bulge in her boyfriend’s dark blue boxers. She reached out to touch it and wasn’t expecting to hear Oscar let out a light groan as it throbbed in her hand. Penny looked up to see Oscar red in the face and avoided eye contact with her.
“Did that...feel good?” She asked, genuinely wondering.
“More than it probably should’ve.” He admitted. “It feels different when...it isn’t me touching it, better.” He added.
“I see, do you...touch yourself often? Penny didn’t know why but asking such questions felt so overwhelming. Her hand gave the clothed shaft a few more gent strokes, earning another groan. Penny didn’t know Oscar’s voice could sound so husky and deep.
“Every so often.” Oscar couldn’t stop his hips from pressing more into Penny’s hand until she hooked his waistband and pulled his boxers down. She let out a little “eep” the moment his manhood sprung out. It was different from textbooks, bigger. Half a foot maybe? It was about as wide though. Penny put her hand around it as much as she could. She wasn’t expecting it to feel so hot, so alive. Her hand started stroking it without even thinking. Again she was rewarded with the sound of Oscar’s voice. Penny really liked that voice. Another personal question came to mind that she couldn’t help but know.
“When you touched yourself, did you think of me?” Her breathing got a little heavy asking that. It was enough to make Oscar twitch and throb even more in her hand.
“Yes!”
Penny had no more questions, nothing else going through her head. Just the reaction to close her eyes and wrap her lips against Oscar’s searing length, gradually sinking her head down it before coming back up to the top, then down again.
“F-Penny!!!” Oscar shouted. He tried his best not to buck his hips but he couldn’t help himself. Penny used her free hand to grab his and rest it on her head. Her tongue slid around his manhood while she picked up the pace. His attempts to stay gentle made her really happy but it was clear to her that Oscar had forgotten something he didn’t have to worry about with her. Penny had a lot of things that made her more human in terms of design, a gag reflex wasn’t one of them.
Every second, Penny could feel him move more and more. All she could taste and smell right now was Oscar and the arousal that leaked out of him. Penny hummed lightly which only Oscar thrust a little harder, turning the hum into more of a moan. It didn’t take long before the sound of Oscar moaning joined the mix of scandalous sounds in the living room.
“Wait Penny, Penny I’m…!!!”
She was too lost in the moment to really register his plea. A couple of moments later and she felt Oscar grip her head especially tight, his body tensing up as he came. The taste from earlier had suddenly gotten a lot more potent. Penny’s eyes widened as ropes of seed were shot into her mouth. Still, she kept sucking just a little longer just to make sure nothing spilled out when she finally removed herself from him. Unsurprisingly, he was still hard. Ruby had told her that it was pretty common for young men to recover in no time at all, especially if they’re pent up.
Penny sat on her knees and looked up at Oscar, who had gotten a little sweaty and was breathing heavy. She was feeling pretty proud of herself right now.
Oscar had a million feelings right now and didn’t know exactly where to start. “That was… really good.” He huffed. “Let me get you a napkin so you can spit-” Oscar saw Penny gulp down his cum right before he could finish his sentence. If he wasn’t hard and blushing before, that would’ve done it.
“Sorry, what were you saying?” Penny said, still chipper about what just happened.
“Nothing, just…that won’t mess anything up internally will it?”
“Oscar if I can eat food then I can swallow.” She said, grabbing her drink on the small table next to them to wash down whatever might’ve remained in her mouth.
It was hard to argue with that logic. Penny wouldn’t do anything that would compromise herself anyways, he hoped. She did like magnets after all.
Penny put the cup back down next to their untouched food and wrapped her arms around Oscar again. She pulled herself back onto his lap to get a kiss that had somehow gotten more feverish than last time. Oscar’s hands went immediately to her soft and plump rear, grasping it firmly before pinning Penny underneath him again. This was good, she really wanted him to take the lead on this one. The way his erection poked at her inner thighs told Penny she didn’t have much of an option to begin with.
Oscar slid his right hand up her leg and under the then layer of fabric she had left to touch her soaked lips directly. The hold she had on him tightened while she gasped into their kiss. He kept trailing up and down his slit until his middle finger barely pierced her entrance. The heat and grip surrounding the digit was enough on its own to make Oscar shiver.
“I wanted to return the favor of going down on you, but I don’t think I can wait.” He groaned, centimeters from her ear.
“I’m perfectly fine with that. I want you inside of me.” Penny lifted her hips again. Her panties came off faster even than her shorts did, Oscar practically tossed them across the room, making her giggle. She liked this side of him. He was still caring but also very assertive in a way that was new to her.
Penny let out another moan as she felt his length rub against her. Oscar locked eyes with her and gave her a quick peck on the lips.
“This way you don’t have to worry about me staring too much.” He joked. “I love you Penny Polendina.”
Her hand gently reached to grab her new necklace, her other and rubbing the side of his face. “I love you too, Oscar Pine.” She returned the chaste kiss, which quickly turned into a passionate one. Penny bent her knees more and spread her legs wider as Oscar began sliding into her hot entrance. She shut her eyes and moaned deeply, his manhood only a few inches in.
“Go slow please!” Penny gasped. Her body felt weird, but also really good. There was also a slight mixture of pressure that gave her a little discomfort as she was slowly being spread open. Penny could still feel pain after all. If you wanted to experience something good then you had to accept the possible flip side. That was good though. Pleasure, pain, good taste, bad taste, having the full range was ideal; it was normal.
Oscar did his best to go slowly. The way she coiled around him with such heat made him want to lose composure so badly, but he fought the urge. It took a minute before he was finally completely inside of her. Oscar took her left hand then interlocked their fingers. He had never seen Penny look winded before. It was...kinda cute.
“Are you okay?”
“Sen...sational” she giggled, out of breath. It had been awhile since she said that. “You can move when you're ready.”
“You sure?”
“Positive”
Oscar kissed her forehead. “I’ll start off slow.”
“Thank you…” Penny felt so weak right now and she didn’t know how to explain it. All she knew was it felt great. Not only that, being with Oscar like this made her happier than she could’ve imagined.
Oscar carefully started to pull out to the very tip before sinking back into Penny’s depth, making both groan all over again, again, and again. It didn’t take too long for Oscar to get to a rhythm of rocking his hips into Penny. Any pain started to subside and leave pleasure in Penny’s wake as she held onto Oscar by having her arms around his body. Oscar could feel Penny dig in a little into his back the more she moaned and got lost in the moment.
“Faster…” She finally moaned. Oscar didn’t delay in giving her what she wanted, what they wanted. His hips picked up the tempo until the couch started to creak from their love making. Any thought about controlling her moans were thrown out the window. Penny couldn’t resist moaning his name with every thrust that struck her deep inside. The only time noise went down was when the two kissed deeply.
Oscar brought her left leg up and around his lower back, while the right one dangled off the couch. This change in position brought Oscar even deeper than before; to the point Penny’s body arched again, rubbing against his.
“Gods Oscar!” She moaned, “You’re so deep” Penny found herself trying to sync up with Oscar’s rhythm, finding it the moment he grazed a new spot within her wall that made the spasm and Oscar bite down on her neck again.
“You’re so tight. So...ahhh! Penny!” Oscar couldn’t think straight. He could only keep rutting into her like a beast in heat. The apartment echoed the sounds of him slamming into her. It was a good thing he had aura, Oscar might’ve gotten a bruise otherwise. They found themselves staying like this for several minutes. Touching, tasting, hearing the intoxicating pleasure the other was making. As if it was the only thing that would sustain them. If it were up to them, this moment would’ve lasted forever, but neither of them could resist the intense urge building inside of them.
Oscar sat up and grabbed Penny’s hips, stabilizing the both of them as he continued to pump into her. He couldn’t help but stare at the womanhood that enveloped his length. The sight of her arousal covering and dripping off of his length only shortened his fuse. Oscar wanted to cum so badly but not alone. His thumb slid closer inward and started grazing her clit every time he thrusted into her. It gave him the results he was looking for. Penny started gripping the couch cushions and her voice started to get even more pleading.
“Oscar~!!! It’s too much!” She whimpered.
His own limits were finally reaching their end. “Cum Penny! Cum whenever you feel like it.” A thin layer of sweat started to coat Oscar as he tried prolonging the inevitable. “Fuck I’m so close!”
The pressure inside Penny just kept building and building like a knot that kept going pulled tighter. Until finally…
“OSCAR!” Penny felt that knot snap. Her walls mercilessly gripped Oscar with a grip that made him cave in at last, erupting rope after rope inside of her. She felt each one and made her shiver. Penny’s face went completely red. She couldn’t imagine the amount Oscar came. It was more than earlier! Oscar’s body finally came down from the adrenaline and he fell right next to her, thoroughly exhausted. Another thing Penny didn’t have to worry much about. Granted she was a little tired, but could easily be active for days on end still.
The girl looked at her tired boyfriend and rubbed his face. “You okay?”
“Happy Anniversary” he chuckled. Penny did the same and kissed his lips quickly.
“I’m gonna get dressed, put the food up for later, and then we can cuddle here?”
“I don’t deserve you. You’re so wonderful.”
“Not as wonderful as you are. Seriously, thanks for accepting me for me, but also still be willing to accept more of me. Letting me grow, change, and try to feel more...you know.”
“I will always support any version of you that you want to become. Forever and always. My other half.”
“My soulmate.” She rubbed her fingers through his hair as he started to doze off a little. Penny happily hummed and got up to clean.
Oscar laid comfortably on the couch. The presence of Ozpin slowly returning before he fell too deep into sleep.
“Good job. Personally I would’ve used the bed conveniently in the other room but hey, things happen fast.”
“Please tell me you weren’t watching all that?” Oscar groaned.
“Of course not, I believe in privacy. It’s not my fault you’re replaying what just happened. It’s kinda unavoidable, sorry.”
“I don’t care, I just can’t believe it went so well”
“I can, muscle memory remember? This might’ve been your first time but you have a massive pool of prior knowledge. Completely blowing it wasn’t gonna happen. I told you good luck for confidence.”
“How’d you know this would happen? Prior knowledge?”
“Oscar, it could be a faunus, human, android, or Salem, certain cues from women just do not change. I saw it coming a mile away.”
Oscar yawned and sunk deeper into the couch. “I guess it pays to be immortal. You know a lot.”
“A blessing and a curse. Like I know for a fact there’s no way Pietro approved or even knows about this scheme, or whatever upgrades she got for this occasion.”
Oscar’s eyes opened back up. There was no way Oz was wrong was wrong about that. If Oscar wasn’t tired, he’d be freaking out. Instead he simply closed his eyes again.
“I’ll cross that bridge when I get to it.”

Ruby laid on Jaune’s bare chest in bed as she went through her scroll during the movie they were supposed to be watching. Their clothes were scattered everywhere and they couldn’t be happier.
“Hey, I got a text from Penny. Looks like the plan worked.”
“Good for them.” Jaune said, playing with her hair. “Pietro is gonna murder him for sure.”
“Good thing you boost aura and healing.”
“Oh, so that’s your grand scheme. Hey, I’m happy to serve.”
“Yeah you are.” She puts down her scroll and straddles Jaune. “Think you can serve me at least one more time?” She took the remote away and smiled.
Jaune couldn’t help but smile too and flip her over to be on top. “I’m always up for your schemes” the two kissed and enjoyed their time together.

A Future Mistake - Chapter Three
Tumblr media
Finally, I typed up Chapter Three! I hope you guys enjoy it. If you want to read the last chapters, you can find them on my masterlist. Word Count: 2,133
Last Line: “And just as fast as everything had stopped, there was a large blue flash, and everything went black.”
Chapter Three
“Well, you can’t fire me because I quit!” Ruby yelled as she chucked her nametag to the ground. It was cliché, but she was too angry to think of anything better than that. She had put the Bible in the fiction section as a joke, but unfortunately, her boss didn’t find it very funny and fired her, saying that was “the last straw.”
Mr. Parquada simply rolled his eyes and resumed stocking the shelves. Ruby stormed out of the building and rented a bike to ride home. She didn’t feel like walking the hour home or hailing a cab today. She rode in a straight line down the street until she reached the edge of Central Park, where she turned right.
As Ruby passed the coffee shop, she felt something vibrating in her pocket, so she stopped.
"Ruby Thompson speaking," She replied as she walked into the coffee shop.
"Heyyy Ruby!" The person on the other end exclaimed, "It's Dennis!"
"Dennis!" Ruby smiled for the first time all day. Dennis was Ruby's favorite cousin. Granted, he was the only one even remotely close to her age, but they still had some common interests and talked often. She sat down in an arm chair in the corner of the shop, "Did you get a new phone?"
"Yup. Thought it was time to replace it."
"Your old phone was hardly a year old!" Ruby said, and Dennis laughed on the other end, "Anyways, how are you?"
"I'm great! Super great!" Dennis paused for a moment before continuing, "Guess what?"
"What?"
"I'm coming to visit you!"
If Ruby had had a drink in her mouth, she would have spit it out, "Excuse me?!"
"I thought you'd be happy to see me."
"I am! I totally am." Ruby lied.
"You don't sound happy," Dennis said, "Look, Rubes, I haven't booked a hotel room yet. I don't have to come."
"No, no, no, you can come," Ruby rubbed her chin, "I'm just really busy with school, and softball, and the play we're putting on in July. Plus I need to find another job!"
"I can help you!" Dennis exclaimed, "And I can go to your games and help you practice!"
"I appreciate it, but-"
"No buts, Rubs. I'll come next Friday."
"Dennis, I have finals and-"
"I won't be a bother! I promise."
Ruby sighed, "Alright. See you then."
"Bye!" Dennis exclaimed before hanging up. Ruby put her phone back in her pocket. How was she going to handle Dennis coming over? Ruby exited the shop and resumed biking to her apartment, but before she arrived, it started raining. Luckily, Ruby always kept an umbrella in her backpack. She pulled it out, opened it, and continued.
About two minutes from her home, a man in a polo shirt passed by Ruby, "Watch out for the weirdo up there."
Ruby stopped and faced him, "Excuse me?"
The man pointed in the direction he was coming from and repeated what he said, "Some messed up chick in an old dress."
Ruby hesitated a moment before responding, "Um, thanks for warning me." She continued biking. Ruby was expecting a random woman to come and jump on her, but thankfully, that didn't happen.
Ruby turned the corner and saw the lady the man had warned her about. She wasn't weird at all, just out of place. The woman was hunched over, sobbing hysterically, holding her hands to her face. The only thing that seemed weird from a distance was her Victorian-era dress. The thing looked like it came right out of "Little Women."
But the closer Ruby got to the lady, the weirder the woman became. She was mumbling something in between her tears and was shaking uncontrollably. Ruby spotted a bag that seemed to be from the same era as her dress near her feet.
Ruby hopped off the bike and approached the lady, "You alright, miss?"
The woman didn't respond. She just kept on crying. Ruby asked her again, but received nothing but nothing but silence.
Ruby cleared her throat, "I like your dress, miss."
The woman took her hands off her face and looked up at Ruby. She would be pretty if her face wasn't so tear-stained, Ruby thought. The woman managed to squeak out, "Thank you," before looking down and continuing to cry.
"Do you need help?" Ruby asked. She had to ask again to finally receive an answer.
"Where am.." the lady stopped to blow her nose, using a cloth handkerchief, "..am I?"
Ruby couldn’t help but laugh, “You’re in New York, miss!”
“No, I am not!” the woman started crying harder.
“Yes, you are. The Empire State Building’s just visible over there.” Ruby pointed just above the building on the corner, where the spire of the Empire State building could be seen.
The lady didn’t respond. It had started to rain harder and harder, and Ruby began to worry about the poor woman, “What’s your name?”
“Why do you need to know?!” the lady yelled. A person across the street began to stare.
“Because I want to help you. Now, what is your name?” “Why are you showing me compassion?” the woman yelled again, “Are you working with Mr. Flinnbaker? If so, I will absolu-” “Miss!” Ruby exclaimed, “I have never heard of a Mr. Flinnbaker and I am trying to be nice! Now, please, tell me your name so I can help you! The woman crossed her arms and sniffed, “Abigail.” “Excuse me?” Ruby leaned towards Abigail and cupped her hand around her ear.
Abigail frowned, “It’s Abigail! Please just help me!” “Of course,” Ruby said, “I’m Ruby.” She held out her hand for Abigail to grab, but Abigail slapped it away and stood by herself. Ruby picked up Abigail’s bag with one hand and carried the umbrella in between them with the other.
Abigail was crying the rest of the way to Ruby’s apartment. Ruby could hardly believe what she was seeing and doing. Why would someone wear a dress like that, with a matching bag, in the rain? And why was she crying?
Abby couldn’t think. Well, yes she could, but she didn’t want to. It only frightened her. This Ruby girl told her she didn’t know who Martin was, but something told Abby she was lying. Ugh, Martin. That dirty bastard! He tricked her into taking that train and now she didn’t know what to do, where she was, or how she got onto that bench. All she had was a letter, but she hadn’t read it yet.
Ruby opened the door to the building. Her apartment was on the ninth floor, so they would have to take the elevator. Abby watched curiously as Ruby pressed a button, then let out a small gasp as the huge metal doors opened.
“How did you do that?!” Abby exclaimed as Ruby walked into an elevator.
“Do what?” “Open those doors!” “I pressed the ‘open’ button. How else would I open it?” When Abby asked what it was, Ruby added, “It’s an elevator. Are you stupid or something?”
“Stupid? I am certainly not stupid!” Abby was on the verge of crying even more, “But that is not an elevator and I will not be deceived into thinking it is!” Ruby snickered, “Then what is an elevator, m’lady?” “It carries things up and down in factories and they do not look like that!” “Welcome to 2019, Abigail,” Ruby said, “Now, I’ve been holding these doors open for you. Could you just get in?” “2019?” Abby gasped, “That’s not possible.” “It is very possible.” “I can’t believe it! Are-” “Just get in the damn elevator, will you?”
Abby sighed and took one step into the elevator, then paused for a moment, then took another step. Ruby let the doors close behind her before pressing the “nine” button.
When the elevator started rising, Abby backed into a corner. Ruby just watched and asked, “Are you sweating?”
Abby looked at the screen showing what floor they were on, “What is that?!”
“Do you ever stop asking questions?”
“What is that?!” Abby repeated. She was crying again.
“I told you, you don’t have to cry.” Ruby opened her arms and motioned to the inside of the elevator, “this is an ele-” “No, that!” Abby pointed to the screen. It was at seven now.
“That says what floor we’re on. My apartment’s on nine.” “Oh.” was all Abby managed to say. The next five seconds until the doors opened were filled with silence. Once the doors did open, Abby was quick to dash out of the elevator, and Ruby followed behind her.
“Well, this is strange,” Abby said, looking around the hall.
Ruby sighed, “What now?” She was beginning to regret bringing Abigail home.
Abby ignored how rude Ruby was and continued, “Usually there is not one big hall connecting the rooms of a house. I prefer things to be more open!” “You think I own this whole floor?” “Why, yes. Do you not?” Abby replied, “I suppose only one side could be big enough to live in.”
Ruby laughed, “Are you serious?” When Abby said she was, Ruby pointed to door 904, “I own that. Heck, I don’t even own it.” Abby opened her mouth to speak, then closed it and waited for Ruby to open the door. Ruby pulled out her keys and unlocked the door, “You coming?”
Abby slowly walked into the room, but stopped at the end of the door. Ruby followed behind her and turned on the lights. Abby gasped and darted about the room.
“What is that?!” Abby exclaimed when she saw the oven.
“The oven,” Ruby said. How did she not know what an oven was?
“You’re lying,” Abby said. She bent down and tapped the glass, “What’s inside?” “It cooks food. You put the food in and-” Ruby started to explain it, but Abby had already moved to the next object that piqued her interest. This time it was the Alexa.
“What does this one do?” Abby asked, holding up the black tube. She pressed the volume up button and smiled when it lit up. She started to press the volume up and volume down button repeatedly, amusing herself with the lights, “What a lovely little tube!” “It plays music, tells jokes, it can turn on and off the lights, all sorts of things,” Ruby explained, “Hey Alexa!”
Abby screamed and dropped the Alexa when it responded with, “Good afternoon, Ruby.”
“Don’t do that!” Ruby scooped up the Alexa and placed it back next to the couch, “Watch. Hey Alexa! Turn off the lights!” The lights shut off and Abby screamed again, “What is this sorcery?” Ruby told Alexa to turn the lights back on to see Abby crouched down on the floor, crying yet again, “Are you OK?” “No! I am most definitely not OK!” Abby replied.
“How come?” Ruby asked. She was super confused. What was even happening? “How come?!” Abby stood up and faced Ruby. Her face was still red from crying, “I’m upset because I don’t know where in hell I am! All I know was on a train, there was a huge flash! All I have is my things, a letter-”
The mention of a letter grabbed Ruby’s interest. Maybe it would explain why Abigail was so bizarre.
“-and I am so, so scared.” Abby continued to cry. Ruby sat down next to her and wrapped her arm around Abby’s shoulders.
“Hey, it’s alright, everything will be fine.”
“Are you sure?” Abby asked.
“I’m positive,” Ruby lied. She took her arm off of Abby’s shoulder and pointed to a door past the couch, “Now, I’ll get you some water and you can go rest. You can use that bedroom.” Abby picked up her bag, but Ruby quickly took it out of her hands, “Why don’t you just take what you need and we can unpack when you wake up?” Abby agreed and set the bag down on the table. She opened it, pulled out an off-white nightgown, and closed the bag, Ruby grabbed a cup and filled it with water before handing it to Abigail.
“Thank you,” Abby said meekly, “for your hospitality.” “It’s no problem.” Ruby responded. Abigail turned and entered the spare bedroom, slowly shutting the door behind her.
Ruby waited about a minute before reopening Abigail’s bag and rummaging through it. She had to find that letter!
Ruby could have gagged. The smell coming from the bag was truly rancid. Finally, Ruby pulled out a plastic bag containing a white envelope. It was the only clean thing in her bag. It had “To Abigail Strinbrall” typed on it in black ink. Ruby opened the plastic bag and ripped open the envelope. She unfolded the letter and began reading. What could this tell her?

-I got you with the slash!
-Nuh-uh!
-You first.
-Why me?
-Cuz you're dead anyway.
-There's nothing down here!
-Philip? S- stop fooling around, man. I- I can hear you down there.
-Aah!
[theme]
-The last time I bought anything from you, it took me a week to fumigate the kitchen!
-Okay, the reshcaps were a mistake, you're right about that. But today, I have something extra special...
D- ...then she says, 'that's why I can't eat the sandwich!'
[all laugh]
C- Wait, wait, I got one. Where does a snowman keep his money? In a snow bank! Eh? Get it? Come on, it's funny!
Th- We're searching for the Vanquisher, king of the realm?
T- Oh. I think they're talking about me.
M- Yeah, I have no idea who you're-
Th- There he is!
Burners- Chuck?!
T- [laughter]
R- Hey! You dare insult Lord Vanquisher? I should take your tongue and feed it to the birds.
T- Uh, you can't do that. I need my tongue.
C- Release him, Darkslayer.
R- ... Fortune smiles upon you today.
M- So, Chuck, you wanna introduce us to your... friends?
C- Guys, allow me to present: Thurman the Magnificent, and Ruby the Darkslayer!
Th: We are knights of the kingdom of Raymanthia.
C- It's called LARPing! [...] Live action role-playing? [...] Okay, I have a life outside of the Burners, you know!
D- Sure doesn't look like it.
T- Oh! I get it! Ahahaha!
Th- My Lord, a situation has arisen. The oracle awaits.
O- As you requested, Sam and Phillip were dispatched on a scouting mission early this morning. But we have not heard from them for many hours.
M- What do you mean you haven't heard from them?
O- I fear, Lord Vanquisher, they have gotten lost on the outskirts of the realm.
T- Texas is confused. Okay, now is this part of your little game or is this real?
D- We're standing behind some dude's van who calls himself the oracle. What do you think?
O- I demand silence!
J- I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm with Texas on this one.
O- Chuck! Make em stop.
C- Wait. Is this part of the game?
Th- No. Sam and Philip are really missing.
M- So, this is for real?
O- We need your help.
C- I vow to find our wayward kinsmen.
C- Guys, this is LARPing!
T- Woah. That's it?
C- Each weekend, teams battle for control of the realm. The rules are simple: First, once you step onto the field of battle, you must remain in character. Second, if you must be vanquished: do so with honor. It's neat, ain't it?!
J- The game's already started?
R- If by 'game' you mean a ferocious battle to the death for the crown of Raymanthia, then yes.
O- But we can't win unless we find our friends.
[at the same time]
C- I say we split up.
M- Let's split up.
M- No disrespect! Chuck- uh, I mean, Lord Chuck. What do you think we should do?
C- Ahem! If we split up, we'll cover more ground!
O/Th/R- As you say, Lord Vanquisher.
C- Okay guys. We'll check the warehouse near the old Renaissance center, you guys check the battlefield.
Th- I dunno where that is. Can somebody else drive?
M- So, King Chuck. How'd you win your crown?
O- It happened many weekends ago... Chuck stood as freedom's last hope against Mad Dog the Conqueror. If he were to fall, darkness would reign for yet another long weekend. Mad Dog summoned his dragon to finish off the Vanquisher once and for all, but fate had different plans. It was totally awesome!
C- Naw, it wasn't... that awesome.
D- Little dudes!
J- Sam! Phillip?
D- Where are you?
Guy- Huzzah!
R- Leave this to me!
Guy- The bards shall sing of this day... the day the Darkslayer fell!
R- Someone shall fall on this day... but it shall not be me.
[fighting noises]
Guy- Aha! Tsk, tsk. You've lost your sword!
T- hyah!
R- What are you doing! I had him right where I wanted him!
Guy- You're not playing by the rules.
T- These are Texas rules! [karate noises] Now. We need you to answer some questions.
D- We're looking for two missing kids, Sam and Phillip. Have you seen them?
Guy- I'd rather die a thousand deaths than help the likes of you.
J- Ahem! Forgive us, my liege, but we are but humble squires in search of our kinsmen. Can you help us?
Guy- I've never been one to refuse a lady, certainly not one as ravishing as you. Saw your kinsmen five hours ago, approaching the Dungeon of Anguish.
D- Neat trick.
Th- We're never gonna find them in time. Then the stupid Bardonians are gonna win, think they're all cool with their fancy mustaches.
C- Hey. Buck up there, camper! People said we'd never win the Battle Royale last Fall, but we did. Our friends are out there, and we'll find em! We just gotta keep-
M- Uh, sorry. Dutch just called. Your friends were seen someplace called the Dungeon Anguish?
Th- It's actually the Dungeon of Anguish.
C- It's, uh. Well, it's actually just in the basement right here.
C- Wah, ah! Get it off me, get it off me!
Th- This isn't part of the game!
M- Yeah, well, neither is this!
R- That was. Incredible!
D- What were those things?
M- Don't know. But I'm betting they have something to do with our missing friends. We have to move. [LARPers kneel] Uh, come on. Get up, guys, we don't have time for this.
O- From this day forth, you shall be known as "Mike, the Smiling Dragon."
Th- You just got a great name. Jealous!
C- For saving my life on the field of battle, I owe you a debt of life.
M- That's... really not necessary.
O- Actually, it's totally necessary. The king of the realm cannot rule while carrying a debt of life.
C- As such, I give the crown to the Smiling Dragon!
M- No. No, Please, look, I can't, I just- I was-
C- Mikey, you gotta!
J- Hey guys, check this out! I've never seen that symbol before.
D- That's really old.
M- Way before my time. Maybe Jacob can help.
Th- What if those... things have Sam and Phillip?
R- Never fear. We have the Smiling Dragon. As long as he's our king, we can't lose. Did you see his moves? They were just so- so-!
M- You okay, buddy? Look, if it's about what happened back there, I'm sorry man. I was just trying to help.
C- It's not that. It's just-
M- Just what?
C- Look, I tripped, okay?
M- Um... If that's some kind of LARPer slang, I have no idea what it means.
C- The story you heard. About how I earned my crown? That's not how it really... went down. It was my first real battle. I'd never held a real lance before. I was still getting my balance when Lord Mad Dog summoned his dragon... I ran forward but... I tripped. The lance fell and hit him by accident! I won my crown with a lie. Hey... it's better that you're king now. I was never fit for the post. I've been king for 48 consecutive weekends, and-
M- 48? Woah, you do play this game a lot.
C- Yeah, but... it took less than an hour of LARPing with you for the others to see me for what I truly am... a follower.
M- Hey, a follower couldn't have led his team to 48 consecutive victories. You can't fake that!
C- Mikey... Look, I appreciate your support but we both know I'm no leader. Not when I'm a Burner and not even when I'm here, playing make believe.
M- Here. Take the pin back.
C- You can't just give it to me! The only way I can get it back is to earn it by saving your life. And let's be honest. That ain't gonna happen.
Th- Never seen that tunnel before. You aren't planning on taking us down there, are you?
R- Well I'm going in!
Th- Do you know how much trouble I'll get in if my mom finds out I went down some crazy dark tunnel looking for killer robots?!
O- He's not joking. His mom is terrifying.
M- They're right. This isn't a game anymore. Texas will stay up here and keep you safe while we go get your friends.
T- What! Wait, why me?
M- Because you're the bravest warrior we've got.
T- Yeah, that's true, but come on! Don't leave me with the nerds!
D- What is this place?
O- Booyah! Mutant wolverine. I win!
Th- I could show you how to use that.
T- Save it. Not interested.
O- Why not? You're really good.
T- You really think so?
Th- Here, watch.
T- Hyah! Huh?
T- Mike, Julie! Incoming! We got trouble!
Th- Come on, I just got this!
O- Your mom is gonna be so mad.
J- This isn't working!
M- I'm open to suggestions!
R- A wizard!
Ja- Applesauce!
J- Jacob?
R- Aww!
Bot- The creator has returned!
M- Uh, Jacob? Care to fill us in?
Ja- It started back when Kane and I were partners- before there even was a Deluxe! I was designing our first ever Utility Bot. Its purpose was to make life in Detroit easier and safer. I equipped it with a new AI that would allow the bot to anticipate human commands, but I was the only one the bot seemed to listen to. But if it were ever to escape the lab, there's no telling the danger it could pose. I begged Kane to shut the program down! I always thought he did.
Bot: It began soon after you left us. Kane retrained us! We were instructed to capture enemies of the public and bring them back to Kane's new creation, an Interrogator. But the humans could not control it. Kane sealed the lab. Our new master told us every human was out to destroy us. As such, every human became our enemy. Disloyalty was severely punished. So we waited, until this door finally opened.
M- Our friends went missing this morning. Have you seen them?
Bot- Of course. We took them per our master's instructions.
J- We need to get them back!
[roar]
Bot- Our master has awoken. If he discovers you here with us, he will destroy us.
M- Get the LARPers out of here!
C- I'm not leaving you guys!
R- Our place is here, with our King!
M- This isn't a game! Get your friends to safety.
C- Let's move!
D- Come on!
J- Look out!
[rubble collapses the door]
T- Mike!
D- Julie!
Both- Jacob!
D- We'll never move this stuff by ourselves!
T- Says who?
Th- What do we do?
C- I know a way to get through there! But I will require your van.
Ja- There used to be another exit!
J- Hey, look at this!
M- The kids have to be in one of those rooms. If we can find a way past that thing we can rescue them and get the heck out of here! Think you can buy us some time?
J- Do you even have to ask? Hey, ugly! Over here!
M- Sam! Phillip! Climb up here!
S- You're the new king of the realm?
M- You bet your butt I am. Lord Smiling Dragon, at your service. Now get up that rope, squire!
T- Okay, I admit. It's pretty cool.
C- But is it possible?
D- Sure. But there's no way the three of us can build it fast enough.
C- What if they helped?
D- I know you don't mean the little lunatics that just tried to kill us!
Bot- We cannot get involved. If our master were to find out-
C- He's not your master! You are in Raymanthia. And in Raymanthia, every man- or... freaky little Utiliton- is free! Free to stand up for yourselves. Free to fight back! And free to live! Our friends are down there, and I swear to you on the steel of my blade that even if I have to slay the beast itself, we! will! bring them back!
[utilitons cheering]
T- hwah! Nah, see, this ain't nerdy. This is a level 25 battle ax, okay? Twenty five. Think about it.
Ja- Maybe there wasn't another exit?
M- Stay here!
M- Way to go, Chuck!
S&P- The Vanquisher!
T- Make way for Texas!
C- The beast is absorbing the blasts!
[mike gets got]
C- Mike!
C- Drive! and when I say stop, stop fast! ...STOP!
M- Ha, oh yeah!
M- For saving my life on the field of battle, I owe you my life. My steel is yours to command, since a king cannot carry... I forget how the rest of it goes, here! All hail King Chuck, the Vanquisher!
R- This was the coolest game ever!
M- ... the game. Your win streak. You guys have to go defend your crown!
Th- We'll never be able to muster an attack in time.
T- What if we help.
M- We're yours to command, Lord Vanquisher.
C- For the glory of the realm!

5x01: Sympathy for the Devil
Then:
Tumblr media
I never get tired of this shot.
Now:
Lucifer is free. Sam and Dean are magically whisked away to a plane not far from where they just were.
Tumblr media
So when a bright, blinding light shoots from the ground and the pilot veers the plane to crash mode, it’s not too surprising. Dean’s calmer than I’d expect.
Once on the ground, they get a rental and in the car, Sam tries to apologize but Dean is focused on the MOST important of tasks: “We need to find Cas.”
They make it to Chuck’s to find the place practically destroyed. Chuck pops up out of nowhere to give Sam’s noggin a good smack.
Tumblr media
He can’t believe that they’re at his house. His last vision didn’t paint the best picture of Sam. His eyes went black --which surprises Dean. But Dean’s on a mission: “Where’s Cas?”
Chuck tells Dean that he’s dead, or gone. “The archangel smote the crap out of him.” Dean is in denial and tries to come up with a different solution. Chuck would know though --plus he has a molar in his hair.
Zachariah and his goons arrive looking for Dean. It’s go time, but Dean wants him to go away. They want Dean’s help before Lucifer finds a vessel. Dean has other plans and reveals an angel banishing sigil.
Tumblr media
“Learned that from my friend, Cas, you son of a bitch.” Dean’s taking his buddy’s death really hard.
Sidenote: All Chuck has to say about all of this apocalypse crazy is: “This sucks ass.” Does it Chuck? Or is this just your favorite season ever?
Later at a motel, Sam gives Dean a hex bag to keep angels and demons at bay. Dean asks how he’s doing with his blood junkie stuff. He seems cured. Sam tries to apologize/explain/talk about it all again, and again, Dean shuts him down. They make a plan to find the devil.
A man walks home in the dark. As he’s walking up his front walk, the gate behind him doesn’t close. We spend an unusually long time watching it clatter in the wind. IS THIS AN UNEXPLAINED PHENOMENON? Or just a wind storm? Later, the man is sleeping and wakes to find his bed soaked in blood. He turns on the bedroom light only to find the blood gone. He tries going back to sleep only to find a woman with blood dripping down her face telling him that he’s chosen.
*High Pitched Screeching Noises* (Sidenote: Bless Becky’s redemption moment in season 15).
Chuck Skypes Becky and needs her help to get a message to Sam and Dean. She protests that she knows that Supernatural is just a book until he admits it’s all real and she freaks out that she knew it all along.
At the motel, Dean’s busy watching signs of the Apocalypse on the television.
Tumblr media
Becky arrives and gets more handsy with Sam than is ever okay. She tells them that the Michael sword is lost to the angels but it’s in a castle on a hill made of 42 dogs. Then she continues to assault Sam.
Bobby shows up with the Impala. Bobby also brought some lore books, and they all learn a little more about Michael. He was the archangel that sent Lucifer south --with a sword. They need that sword.
Sam then confesses to Bobby what really happened. Bobby’s so angry that he essentially tells Sam that he’s dead to him.
Tumblr media
Heartbroken, Sam leaves to check out an old church nearby.
Later, Bobby confesses to Dean that he never would have believed that John was right: Dean would have to save Sam or kill him. Bobby reiterates that John was right. That gives Dean an idea about John’s old storage locker. “Castle Storage 42 Rover Hill.” Maybe the sword is there. Bobby then knocks Dean out. His eyes go black. Oh wait, that’s not Bobby at all!
A smirking demon arrives and saunters over to Ruby’s knife laying on a dresser. She taunts Dean about knowing him in the past and how she should have ripped off his “pretty pretty face.”.
Tumblr media
She’s Meg! Back from Hell and ready to, um, give ‘em hell I guess. “Our father's among us. You know we're all dreaming again for the first time since we were human? It's heaven on earth. Or hell.” She kisses another unwilling Winchester which is a habit I’m very glad she kicked in later episodes. Meg hands Demon!Bobby the knife and orders him to kill Dean. As Demon!Bobby raises the knife, Dean pleads for his life. It’s enough to snap Bobby back into control and he plunges the knife...into himself. UGH.
Sam busts in and he and Meg enjoy a drag-out fight while Dean tackles the other demon in the room. Meg recognizes a losing situation when she’s in one and smokes out of there.
Nick pours over boxed up baby belongings when he hears crying from the baby monitor. He goes in to check on the surely empty crib, only to have a horrific vision of blood running down the crib mattress.
Sam and Dean rush Bobby into a hospital emergency room. He’s thoroughly stabbed, but still alive! Sam’s ready to linger by his bedside, but Dean’s adamant that they need to leave for John’s lockup right away. They need to find the Michael sword!
At Castle Storage, they find dead demons on the floor and walls lined with treasures! Also, they find Zachariah and his henchmen. “Oh thank God. The angels are here,” Dean greets them sarcastically. Zachariah ignores this attitude in favor of more mustache twirling. He’d lost the Michael sword but found it again - and just in time too! The Michael sword is Dean!
Tumblr media
Zachariah gleefully belittles Dean and then spells it out: Dean is Michael’s chosen vessel. His “angel condom,” if you will. Dean is sHOckiNGly not up for this plan. Zachariah shoots Sam with his finger and Sam collapses in pain. I. Just. No wonder why Cas was mystified by guns.
Michael needs his vessel to defeat Lucifer, so he needs Dean’s body yesterday, okay? (That’s what Cas says.) Dean inquires about the human lives caught in the crossfire. Oh, millions! But it’ll be worse if Lucifer wins, Zachariah promises.
While Dean may have seriously depleted self confidence, he has a good grasp on consent. He’ll never agree to be Michael’s vessel. (Crying noise crying noise.) If nice, rational threats to the long term survival of the planet don’t work, Zach will turn to whatever he can. He gives Dean stage four stomach cancer.
While Dean and Sam are doubled over in pain, a bright light flashes. An angel gets stabbed right in the throat (remember when THAT was a thing?) and we suddenly see...CAS!!
Tumblr media
Cas kicks the ass of every angel six ways to Sunday while Zachariah looks on, shocked. “How are you alive?” Zachariah asks.
Excellent question! In reply Cas brings up the other recent miracle of Dean and Sam popping up into the safety of a passing airplane. God’s in the game now, motherfuckers! “Now, put these boys back together and go. I won't ask twice.” FANS SELF.
Zachariah flaps out with great haste. Cas approaches and warns the Winchesters that Lucifer is close to gaining his vessel. They need to be protected, so he lays hands on both of them and zaps some sweet, new rib tattoos into their bones.
Tumblr media
Cas shielded them with Enochian warding, which means no angel or archangel can track them now. (Unless they finally learn about cell signals, amirite?) Cas flaps away, as he is quite the international man of mystery now. Dying once will do that to you, I guess.
Nick wakes up to find his dead wife standing in the bedroom. She tells him that she isn’t his wife. She’s actually an angel named Lucifer. Lucifer sweet talks Nick, telling him that he would like to use him as his vessel and sure it’ll hurt, but it’ll all be worth it in the end. Lucifer was just misunderstood and wants to find God so he can hold him accountable. “Just because he created us doesn't mean he can toy with us, like playthings.”
Me, to this show:
Tumblr media
Lucifer promises Nick vengeance on his family’s killer if he says yes. So Nick says yes. Light flashes in the house, and Lucifer’s on the chessboard.
Back at the hospital, Bobby’s ready to tear a new one out of some poor health care worker while Dean and Sam look on. They’re in the apocalypse now, so what’s the next step? Dean delivers a rousing speech: “Screw the angels and the demons and their crap apocalypse. Hell, they want to fight a war, they can find their own planet. This one's ours, and I say they get the hell off it. We take 'em all on. We kill the devil. Hell, we even kill Michael if we have to. But we do it our own damn selves.” That’s the spirit!
As they leave, Bobby stops Sam for a moment. He assures him that the demon said all those terrible things, not him. “I ain't cutting you out, boy. Not ever.” BRB CRYING
Tumblr media
Sam and Dean head out. Sam tosses out an idea about finding the Colt to kill Lucifer. Dean immediately pours water on this little candle of hope. He just did his happy little speech for Bobby’s benefit! In reality, his faith and trust in Sam are utterly shaken. There’s nothing Sam can do to repair it either. The trust is broken.
Tumblr media
I’d Like My Quotes with a Gallon of Custard:
How did we end up on Soul Plane?
Where's Cas?
Angels. Nice change-up to the mythology, by the way. The demon stuff was getting kind of old
It's you, chucklehead. You're the Michael sword
You two need to be more careful
What I do have is a GED and a give-'em-hell attitude, and I'll figure it out

Oscar Pine: Treatment and Characterization in Volume Six
Tumblr media
It’s Friday! Which means I get to spend my time writing meta if I so choose. Today’s topic is Oscar. Specifically the question posed by @dreanner95 on another post of mine: “How have the characters in the show treated Oscar badly?” (Full asks are at the end of the meta.) I’ve covered this topic at length in my episode recaps, but I want to pull everything together into one post, both for easy, future access---here’s the answer to this question!---as well as to put the whole of it into perspective. Because as we’ll see in a moment, Oscar’s treatment is something slow and perpetual. You’ve got to take it all into account to understand just how badly things are going for him.
To start, though this meta is focused on the material of Volume Six, it’s worth pointing out something from Volume Five. Namely that Oscar isn’t an integrated part of the team yet. Volume Five is easy-going material compared to Volume Six. A whole lot of hanging out around the house as opposed to stressful, traumatic encounters with baddies. Meaning, that was the perfect time to start incorporating Oscar into the main group, but that didn’t happen very much. Not to the extent we need it to. Because Oscar isn’t just Oscar anymore, he’s Oscar housing Ozpin, and it’s Ozpin who bears the focus of everyone’s attention (a problem that becomes exacerbated in Volume Six). The vast majority of Oscar’s scenes feature Ozpin speaking, or are about Oscar’s new relationship with Ozpin, or are more generally about the war and how to prepare for it---see the training scene where Oscar is struggling to learn the basics of combat. For the most part Oscar is not at the center of anyone’s attention, Ozpin is, with the exception being Ruby’s talk with him downstairs. There Ozpin keeps quiet to let the two work out their grief and fears, making it one of the most powerful moments of the volume. But it’s not nearly enough. I’ve spoken before about how we don’t know much of anything about Oscar. Unlike the other characters who all embody details that help us to see them as well-rounded individuals---Yang loves making jokes and her bike, Blake is a bibliophile and invested in faunus rights, Jaune still wears a Pumpkin Pete sweatshirt and trains at night with Pyrrha’s video, etc.---three volumes in and Oscar is still defined almost exclusively by that moment when Ozpin slammed into his head and everything that has happened since then. No hobbies, no dreams, no talk of his family... we’re given only one, narrow lens to view him through. Which doesn’t just make it more difficult for the audience to become invested in him, but difficult for the other characters as well. Oscar doesn’t join the group during their bonding dinner. With the exception of Ruby, he doesn’t get to form strong ties with them. He’s the outsider here, the one person who doesn’t have a year of Beacon friendship and life or death missions to draw on, and it shows. Because though the cast clearly loves him (more on that later) his outsider status remains, making it really easy for the others to dismiss him, hurt him, or shrug him off when things start getting tough. Because he’s not really one of them. This isn’t Jaune with Ozpin stuck in his head. Or Ruby. Or Yang. It’s just Oscar, the random kid who appeared on our doorstep one day, joined our group when we never asked, and who we still know next to nothing about even after three volumes of material. The characters just don’t care about him as much as they do the core group, even though at this point they should, setting up a situation wherein he becomes expendable. Especially when everyone is focused on getting back at Ozpin. They’re willing to hurt Oscar to get at Ozpin in a way I don’t think they’d be comfortable with if it was anyone else. If Nora had Ozpin stuck in her head? No one would be assaulting her or saying she’s doomed to just be his meatsuit her whole life. They’d defend and support her in ways no one is willing to do for the literal child of the group. Because no one has been given the chance to get to know the kid and come to truly care for him.
So let’s rehash what the group actually does to Oscar over the course of Volume Six.
To start, there is that ongoing sense that he has no place in this group. Oscar exists only as a vessel for Ozpin. When everyone is waiting for the train the focus in clearly on team dynamics. “I know you’re worried, Weiss, but trust us. Team RWBY won’t leave your side for a second!” Yang and Ruby are interacting as sisters. Nora and Ren are interacting as a couple. There’s a clear division between RWBY and JNR visually, with the former on the right side of the screen and the latter on the left.
Tumblr media
Oscar sits sort of between both, not speaking, not being spoken to until Ozpin makes a joke about the train goons hopefully not being from Beacon. Then Oscar expands on the humor and gets a round of appreciative nods. That’s it though. On the train Team RWBY and their Uncle Qrow all make plans to play video games. We know Team JNR was hanging out because they all arrive together when trouble starts. Meanwhile, we find Oscar in a cabin full of random people. He’s not spending time with or being invited to either group here. He’s just got Ozpin. Ozpin who is the focus of everyone’s attention. When the others arrive Jaune immediately asks, “What’s going on?” and it’s pretty clear the question is directed at Ozpin, not Oscar. Because Oscar just insisted that he wanted to keep control, but now he’s fumbling. He doesn’t know what’s going on and now here Jaune is (unintentionally) reminding him of that. He’s a farm boy, not a huntsmen. Certainly not the huntsmen either. Everyone wants Ozpin around to fix things and if there’s nothing to fix? You don’t need to stay.
Tumblr media
It’s a dynamic that’s going to repeat throughout the volume, starting at the farm house. Ruby will go off with Weiss, Blake will go off with Yang... and everyone is going to leave Oscar to stay behind with Maria, doing nothing and being babied.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Team RWBY will go retrieve the relic. Oscar can once again stay behind and figure out how to fix their transportation. Because Qrow will be busy drinking.
Tumblr media
And then again in “Dead End,” which I’ll get to below.
After the train we have the punch scene and I’m not sure how else to explain to people how not okay this is. I don’t care how high emotions were. Oscar is bearing the brunt of Ozpin’s (perceived) sins in a truly horrendous manner. He’s intimidated, screamed at, chucked into a tree. Keep in mind this is the body that only started figuring out aura a few weeks ago and we’re shown straight out that Qrow’s punch, a punch from an incredibly powerful huntsmen, hurt like hell. The second Ozpin leaves Oscar is wincing and touching his cheek.
Tumblr media
What stands out to me is not that the cast is human and makes mistakes and loses their temper---because obviously all those things are valid---but rather that we see throughout the course of Volume Six that no one is willing to acknowledge, let alone act on, the fact that Oscar is a victim of circumstance. No one calls Qrow out on hitting the innocent kid along with the guy he’s mad at. No one tries to calm things down so that Oscar isn’t shouldering their tempers when he’s done nothing wrong. Everyone is happy to vent their anger and fears on him because he’s convenient. Case in point, even with Ozpin gone Yang is still screaming in his face. She doesn’t care if that’s Ozpin or Oscar. Same body, no difference.
Tumblr media
No one cares enough about Oscar as an individual to question how their actions might hurt him along with Ozpin. They don’t care enough about him as an individual, period. With the knowledge that Ozpin is truly gone for the moment, the group segues into ignoring him. Oscar is in the process of breaking down right in front of them---grabbing his hair, yelling about how he needs it all to stop---but the group talks over him, jumping straight to panic about what they’ll do now that Ozpin has left. Oscar is no longer functioning as their go-between. He’s useless, he looks like a man they hate, and he doesn’t have that emotional connection to the group. So why do they care that he’s having a breakdown? They don’t. Imagine if this was literally anyone else in the cast. The group would be all comfort and sympathy. Instead, we’re given a shot that could easily be from Oscar’s perspective. His entire identity is falling apart and all he’s given in response to that is Weiss looming over him, still talking about Ozpin, still only worrying about how this all effects them. A ‘them’ Oscar isn’t fully a part of.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It’s a problem that Ruby tries to address by giving him back his cane, but Qrow undermines that like whoa.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I shouldn’t have to establish how utterly horrible this is. The adult telling the child, ‘No. You’re not your own person. Get over it. I’m a good guy for telling you the hard truth.’ It’s made even worse by Ruby’s silence. She doesn’t challenge Qrow’s words. Her sad expression conveys that she agrees with him---her earlier words were indeed “lies”---and Oscar is left to walk away, once again without any support. What little he was offered was wrenched away from him by an authority figure. Throughout "The Coming Storm” we see just how isolated he is. He walks at the very back of the group, away from everyone else. He looks terrified entering the house, re-emphasizing that he’s not a trained huntsmen like the rest of the group and was never given a choice about adopting this life. When he helps Blake and Weiss move the dresser in front of the door, they hold a short conversation over his head. As Ruby approaches the pictures on the wall, we hear Oscar theorizing about how this room is a study or a library, but no one answers him. Then, as said, they all split and leave Oscar behind, despite the fact that he’s the first to back Ruby’s plan to look for supplies. On their own none of these details necessarily mean anything, but put together they paint a bleak picture---and one that I am personally familiar with. I’ve been in groups where I’m clearly the outsider and this is precisely how I’m inclined to act: try to be helpful even when it goes ignored, try to start conversations even when no one answers. You just keep trying because what else can you do? You feel horribly awkward, but it’s better than accepting that no one wants to interact with you.
Tumblr media
Note that all of this is a direct parallel to what we get in “Dead End.” Both moments begin with Oscar trying to help the group, first by giving them a means of accessing the secrets they so desperately want---“Say her name to summon her”---here by starting a pep-talk when Ruby is unable to. “Look, none of this is great, we know,” Oscar says. “But we’re not the bad guys here.” To which Jaune responds with, “Are we sure about that?” Now, suddenly, Oscar isn’t just the bystander who happens to be hurt along the way. He is the immediate victim here. All the dialogue is directed to and about Oscar, blaming him and putting the responsibility on his shoulders: “He’s in your head isn’t he?” “Did you already know about this?” “How much longer can we even trust him?” “How do we even know it’s really him?”
We have another physical assault, this time with Jaune slamming Oscar against the wall and shaking him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Weiss, Yang, and Ruby yell out, but none of them make a move to stop him. Everyone just stands there, allowing Jaune to do as he pleases. In the past year people have been very uncomfortable with me referring to the group as kids or children, insisting that real life markers of adulthood (hitting 18) trumps their lack of experience and emotional instability. These are adults, Clyde. Okay then. Let’s work with that. This is an adult attacking a child. For the second time in as many days. We have now twice seen an adult use a 14yo as an emotional and literal punching bag, doing whatever they please to the real life equivalent of a middle schooler.
And once again, no one cares. Oscar was just attacked again, he flinches when Jaune walks past, and the first words out of anyone’s mouth are worry for Jaune. Not the kid who just dealt with a much bigger, much stronger, much older man taking his anger out on him. Not the kid who is standing right there and listening to where everyone’s loyalties lie. Oscar learns fully in this moment that when push comes to shove, he’s never going to be anyone’s priority.
Tumblr media
We see the split in teams again. “I think it would be best if we had some time to ourselves,” Ren says, clearly talking about Team JNR since they’re all going upstairs together. Team RWBY is left in the living room... with Oscar outside of that.
Tumblr media
So he leaves.
Tumblr media
Which is when the writing shows us its priorities too. Oscar is housing the most important character in this entire war and, like it or not, he’s supposed to be a part of the team now. If there was ever a time to provide him with space to grow and to give the audience insight into who he is outside of Ozpin’s influence, this was it. Ozpin is conveniently quiet. The group has driven him away. We have a two week hiatus implying a major episode when we come back. Anything could happen, from Oscar getting kidnapped and coming into some power, to him working through his issues and deciding why the hell he should stay with a group that doesn’t need him and clearly doesn’t want him. Instead, we get another episode about Jaune and EVERY bit of potential character development for Oscar happens off screen. All we learn is that Oscar went shopping. Oh, and cooked them dinner.
Tumblr media
Notice that Oscar is desperate to prove himself useful; to do things in the hope that it will earn him some form of praise and acceptance. Jaune yells about how I’m a liar and not to be trusted? I get thrown around and no one cares enough to check up on me? That’s fine. I’m gonna give them space, not kick up a fuss, make a nice meal for everyone to come home to... Oscar can’t stick up for himself because if doing nice things---helping you get Ozpin’s secrets, trying to cheer everyone up, etc.---results in violence, what the hell would they do if he actually got mad at them? No, no, no, I’ll just keep being calm, perfect Oscar.
Yes, Jaune apologies for his behavior, but notably Oscar interrupts him and tries to justify it. I’m worried about the same things too, so it’s totally okay that you expressed those fears the way you did. I’m the expendable one.
Tumblr media
It gets even worse when Oscar starts speaking as if he has a terminal illness. Once again he’s buying into the idea that he’s no one now, existing only to ferry Ozpin’s soul, and like out in the snow this idea isn’t challenged by anyone. This exchange boils down to, ‘I’m convinced I’m going to cease to exist so I’ll just keep helping you all as much as possible until I’m gone.’ Oscar is making the claim that helping them---being the good outsider who makes them meals and promises not to worry them again, despite the fact that they’re the ones who drove him off in the first place---is all he's good for now.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And what’s the group’s response to this?
Tumblr media
Along with a whole bunch of smiles.
Combined with their overall treatment, this reads as horrendously alarming. Why worry too much about how you’re treating Oscar when Oscar is destined to die, merge, whatever? He’s literally theorizing about a scenario where one day the group won’t have to deal with him anymore, but until then he’ll be as helpful as he can. It’s an easy out for them. Yay! We won’t lose the Ozpin vessel who we technically still need, but now he says we don’t have to worry about his trauma anymore. Those pesky things like terror over his identity are being buried and the problem is that no one is inclined to challenge that. A few days after Qrow claims he’s not his own person, Oscar announces, ‘You know what? He’s right. I’m not. So I’ll just be useful until I disappear.’ And everyone is happy with that new plan. No one cares enough about Oscar to push back against this passiveness, to worry about his mental health, even just to express grief that they may one day lose him. There’s so much concern and care shown among the group, from the big (everyone supporting Yang through her PTSD) to the small (Blake finding an extra blanket for Weiss). But twice now we’ve seen Oscar breaking in front of an audience and no one bats an eye. Twice we’ve seen him harmed and no one cares. The rest of the time he’s barely acknowledged at all. Not unless he’s making himself known and that, as we’ve seen, is dangerous.
I mentioned way at the start that the concept of the group loving Oscar would come back into play. In short, I think you can love someone---or convince yourself you love someone---and still treat them like shit. The group might be “worried sick” when something major happens to Oscar like a disappearance, but on a day-to-day basis they treat him pretty horribly. They care about his physical safety, but not his emotional or mental well being. He’s not truly a part of their teams, he’s constantly conflated with Ozpin, his fears about losing his identity are reinforced multiple times, and there’s now a pattern of the group using him as an emotional and physical outlet when it proves convenient for them. Could they treat him worse than this? Yeah, of course, but they could treat him a whole lot better too. For me, Nora giving a big “OSCAR!” hug or Blake exchanging pleasantries on the farmhouse steps doesn’t mean a thing when, during more significant moments, they don’t stick up for him. Not when he’s being physically assaulted, not when others are emotionally harming him, not when Oscar himself basically announces that he’s accepted a death sentence. The group loves Oscar... but it’s highly conditional. If they love someone else more (like Jaune) or hate someone else enough (like Ozpin) then he’s going to suffer for it. Oscar is not enough of a member of the group for them to ever prioritize and sadly it doesn’t look like that’s going to change anytime soon.

"I Think They Want You!"
Tuesday 22nd September 2020
Hello everyone! Hope you've all had a good week, I do realise I am late (again!) I can only apologise for my lateness! Tonight I'll be posting about Tuesday's episode and tomorrow I shall do two posts following Thursday's and Friday's episode! Let's waste no time and get right into it!
As you all know, Monday's episode ended with Stacey making an iconic return to the square, and as we can see, it starts just right we left off! Firstly I've got to say how amazing it is to have Lacey Turner back! Stacey is such an iconic to the show and she makes every scene she's in just amazing!! I love how Stacey is acting so nice and polite to Ruby as she returns, even though Ruby is fuming after finding out that her best mate has been stealing money from her! Ruby instantly lashes the insults at her .... only we hear a voice from behind Stacey, and there stands Lily!!!!! Sorry but, how grown up does she look?! She is definitely her Mum's daughter! The spit image!! Such a little superstar, as much as I loved the younger Lily, I can see this little madam causing a stir on the Square, perhaps getting into her own little bits of trouble?! As Stacey finishes her little pow-wow with Ruby, she turns away to see Jean looking at her from a distance, poor Jean, it's been a while since we've seen her! How has she been able to cope during lockdown?! I'm interested to see what she's got to stay to Stacey!
Ahhh yes, Ben is still being questioned by police. Ahhh and of course the Mitchell family lawyer is there to help! To be honest, I've always liked Ritchie, she's always done her best to support the Mitchell's! She also makes a VERY good point, if they really think their evidence is so solid, what are they waiting for? I'm kind of guessing it has something to do with the Detective waiting on Callum to give up Phil?! As he stated to Ben, he's just waiting for that one phone call where someone can collaborate his story?! Or something among those lines?! As Callum is coming out of his apartment, little Lexi approaches him asking whether he's had news on her Dad. Can I just say, all the little actors and actresses in this soap are such superstars! Little Lexi is such a gorgeous little girl, as is Amy, Bailey, Ollie - they are all so young and such brilliant little actors, I love them all! But of course Lexi is going to be worried about her Dad, the poor girl hasn't been able to see them the past few days, since he was arrested. As Callum explains to Jay that it's look that Ben could be charged for his involvement in the robbery, Jay is right when he says "It's gonna kill him, isn't it?!" ... it'll kill Ben and everyone else in the family. Phil, Lola, Lexi, Callum, Jay, Kathy - it'll affect everyone!
Meanwhile, in the café, Stacey is waiting for Martin! I still can't get over how glamorous she looks! Her hair and make-up and outfit just looks perfect! I think from the very beginning since she's been on the Square, Stacey has been my favourite character! She just absolutely MAKES the soap for me, along with Phil Mitchell! Martin enters the café and, to me, it looks as if he is shocked to see his ex-wife looking so beautiful! Considering, as Stacey points out, he hasn't seen her for a whole year! The main thing Martin is wanting though, is being able to see his daughters. Stacey basically tells him that he can see his daughters, if he makes sure Ruby doesn't go to the police about Stacey nicking her money. Martin makes it perfectly clear he doesn't care what she's done, as the situation regarding that is between her and Ruby. He then makes a statement saying to her that she has no idea what he did for his family! Which - as many of you will remember, he got himself caught up in Ben's business, having to collect rent from struggling families, to then to Ben's outrageous plan to murder Keanu! Stacey has no idea about what Martin has done in recent months, but he had to lie to her to protect her - I think to this day, Stacey still believes that he cheated on her with Sonia, which of course, we know was untrue. Will Stacey ever find out the truth about what Martin got up to during the months she was absent?!
In the Vic, Ian is still being off with Sharon! As Kathy brilliantly puts it, he's punishing her for not having the same feelings towards him, which is really not her fault! He needs to grow a pair, be a man about it, accept it and move on! The way Ian looked back at Sharon after she walked off, I'm hoping Kathy has finally talked some sense into him! He and Sharon have been best friends for years and years, it'll be awful to throw a good friendship away over something like that! Maybe Ian will start to back off a bit?!
Ahhh Denise! Gosh it feels like ages since we've seen Denise!!! She must be feeling absolutely devastated about Chantelle passing away?! She explains to Jack as she gets off the phone, that she was speaking to Sheree! Patrick is living with his son Anthony?! And from what we can make from her phone call, Patrick came down with Coronavirus? He seems to be getting better slowly! As Denise is having her conversation with Jack, Amy is in the background playing on her phone, what is this little girl up to? Denise suggests going round and making some food for Patrick, Amy pipes up and instantly asks if she can go with and quickly rushes to get changed. Both Jack and Denise seem surprised by her request but it looks a if Denise is pleased for her to tag along. But what does Amy really want? What is she trying to get out of? Or why is she wanting to go with Denise?!
Kheerat is still grieving for Chantelle, we see him alone, still coming to terms with her loss. Mitch walks in, thinking he's there to collect some on Chantelle's work things. But Kheerat brings his attention to a bin liner, Mitch looks inside and finds Chantelle's memory box. He looks inside and instantly he's wanting to know how and why Kheerat has it. Kheerat explains to him that Chantelle trusted him in getting it for her the previous night, Mitch comes to realise it was become of Kheerat that Gray got the notification of the house alarm. Kheerat explain to Mitch that Chantelle wasn't happy and that she was ready leave to Gray, Mitch remains quiet as he explains what he knows, he then asks him "Why you?" and then it drops - "You were going with her?!" - just as that moment, before Kheerat can respond to him, Suki walks into the room, realising what she might have walked in on, she instantly acts sympathetic towards Mitch, saying she's sorry for his loss and claiming how much they all loved Chantelle. Mitch decides then to leave the room and as he leaves we can Kheerat reeling about how much he knows he needs to tell Mitch, there's still plenty more information they need to know!
At the Slater household, Martin is finally spending time with his daughters. Hope has also grown up so much too! I might be wrong, but how long has it been since Stacey left with her daughters? Nearly a year? Over a year? A round the year mark? In that space of time, I can't believe how much their daughters have grown! Even little Arthur is growing up! Kat is in the living room explaining to Jean and Shirley all about the situation between Ruby and Stacey. As Martin is bonding with his daughter, Stacey is coming down the stairs, she sneaks towards the kitchen door and listens in on their conversation. She smiles softly as little Hope talks to her Daddy, it's then Martin whispers "I've missed you, so much!" - Stacey looks so guilty and upset as she realises how much her ex-husband dotes on his children.
Back at the cafe, Sharon appears to be looking for someone, or something? Linda sees her in a state and Sharon begins to let off a bit of steam to her best mate. She explains how much Ian is getting on her nerves when it comes to him running the Vic, still treating her like she's the bad guy because she didn't feel the same way about him.  Linda gives her friend some brilliant advice, it doesn't matter who's name is on the lease, she insists the Vic belongs to Sharon. She advises her friend that if she was to make the first move and threaten to leave first before Ian chucks her, he will be begging for her to stay behind the bar. Only, will Sharon act upon her advice and will it work?!
Meanwhile, in the Mitchell's, Jay and Phil are discussing the possibility of Ben getting charged for his crimes. Phil brings up the fact that he could be looking at 8 years in prison for armed robbery if he's convicted. Jay begins to panic, for Lexi's sake, as he's been trying to tell the poor girl that everything is going to be okay and her Dad will be fine. Phil instructs him to keep telling her that until they know for certain that everything isn't. Suddenly, Ben makes his way into the room, happy as Larry! Both Jay and Phil are shocked to see him there, Ben makes himself at home, helping himself to a cup of tea! Phil instantly wants an explanation from his son, what is he doing there? Why have the police let him go? Ben makes a jokingly comment saying that the police might not have believed Danny's statement - then he brings up the possibly that Callum might have found a way of getting rid of the CCTV! Phil is clearly surprised about this information - is that true? Has Callum really got rid of the CCTV? Or has he actually gone ahead and decided to give Phil to the police, like they wanted?! Phil warns Ben that he's best trusting him in future, to which Ben responds "I trust you both!" - Hmm but something feels very wrong here. Has Callum betrayed Ben here and given up his Dad to the police? Just so Lexi can be with her Dad?! It's very interesting this one!
At Ruby's - Ruby is getting all her bank statements and all her information together, she's ready to go to the police and drop Stacey right in it! Martin finds her and before she can leave, he pretty much begs her not to go to the police. He explains that he hasn't seen his children for a whole year, he's only managed to spend 20 minutes with Hope. He was hoping to spend some time with Lily, but she sadly didn't want to talk to him. He begs to his girlfriend not to go to the police, not for Stacey, but for his children and for him. It's true that the kids have been through so much the past year, they need both their parents. They might not be together, but time with them is precious.
The next scene we see Denise making food for Sheree and Patrick, it looks as if Isaac has been staying at their house while Patrick is at Anthony's? Sheree appears to be asking for Mitch, she goes to the salon in search for him. As Denise and Sheree are having this conversation, I can make out in the background that Isaac and Amy are having another conversation, it sounds as if Amy is wanting to follow Isaac on social media. At first, it all seems a bit jokey as Isaac laughs and says she can't follow him, but it's when Amy says "Why not?" that things get a little more serious. Isaac is her teacher right? As the conversation goes on, Denise gets closer and listens in, Isaac makes the comment that Amy could be a bit too young to use social media, it's then Amy states that in some countries, some children younger than her get married. It's then that Denise decides to intervene, she instructs Amy to go and wash her hands so she can help prepare food. As Amy groans and leaves the room, Denise clicks to what is going on in the child's head, she informs Isaac that Amy has a huge crush on him! It all makes sense now why she wanted to join her - plus can I just say how grown up Amy looks too! The spit image of her Mum, Roxy! (RIP) - Denise questions Isaac whether he's not the slightest bit worried, but he explains that being a high school teacher, it seems to happen all the time - it'll be a phase and she'll grow out of it. Denise tells him to the best thing and keep his distance, but something tells me this little crush that Amy has will escalate and perhaps get a little out of control? Will a crush become something more of an obsession?!
Back a the Vic, Sharon appears to finally have picked up the courage to confront Ian. Ian tries to start the conversation, he looks as if he's beginning to apologise, but Sharon stops him in his tracks. She wants to her words out before he can. It looks as if she's taken Linda's advice, she starts to say that she'll always remember and be thankful to him for supporting her through her tough times over the past few months, but she goes on to say that with the way things have been between them recently, perhaps its for the best if she was to find someone else to live with her baby boy, for a minute he looks devastated - he says to her that he bought the Vic for her so she could have a home, and as much as she is grateful for that, Sharon points out that he has been treating her the past few weeks, she can't stay unless they can work things out - suddenly Ian is acting the BIG I AM - deciding to agree with what she's saying. It's looking as if Linda's advice has backfired on poor Sharon. He informs his ex-friend that he'll expect her to be gone the following day! Poor Sharon is in absolute disbelief! What is she going to do now? Where is she going live?!
Back at the Slater household, Stacey is finally coming face-to-face with her Mum, after being away for so long. Jean is still visibly upset with her daughter. Stacey begs for her to talk to her and if she'll let her stay they can work things out. Jean says she'll never turn away her grandchildren, but as long as Stacey is there, she'll only tolerate her for the children's sake. It's horrible seeing Jean so upset, but you can understand why, Stacey wasn't there for her Mum when she needed her the most - during her cancer treatment, when Daniel passed away, when she got poisoned for taking too much of her medication (unbeknown to her as you'll remember) - it's only been Kat, Kush and Shirley looking out for her, when really Stacey should've been there. I think it also upset her the fact that Stacey never actually got in touch, poor Jean didn't know where she was for a very long time. Jean informs Stacey that Ruby has come to see her, Stacey leaves the room as Jean's eyes fill with tears. Stacey joins Ruby in the living room, Ruby informs her that there's a piece of paper on the counter for her and on it is basically everything that she has stole from her. Stacey is reluctant at first, claiming that Ruby can't prove anything, but then Ruby says she's trying to do the right thing, as long as Stacey does the right thing, if Stacey pays back to her everything she owes, not for her, but for Martin's sake, then she wont call the police.
Back at the Mitchell's, Ben is really happy to be back at home, he's on the phone to his boyfriend, really excited to be home. We hear Callum on the other end of the phone saying how amazing it is that his boyfriend is finally back at home with his family. Ben says he has him to thank for it, as Ben is relaxing at home during this phone call, we can that Callum appears to be at the police station. His face is looking kind of happy but kind of devastated at the same time ... has he done what I think he's done?! Ben informs him that his Dad will be out that night and he decides to invite his boyfriend round, Callum agrees. As they end the phone call, Callum looks down at his phone, not looking as pleased as you'd think you'd be if your partner was let out of prison. It's then we hear a voice from above him "You made the right decision Callum!" .... *GASP* ... No!!!! Callum!!! Why? This is a devastating situation right now!!! Callum has basically given Phil to the police, just so Ben could be free? I have a horrible feeling about this - Ben is going to find out and it'll all kick off, Ben will see it as a huge betrayal! Phil will never trust Callum again, will Ben ever trust him again?! Ooooh - I kinda feel annoyed at Callum for doing it but also feel sorry for him as he probably feels he was pushed into a corner and that he didn't really have a choice, has he been cruel to be kind?! Oh no!!!! I dread to think what's going to happen to Ballum and to Phil after this!!! I don't understand why the police think that Phil is a bad man? Okay he's had his demons in the past, perhaps a robbery or two? Set fire to a few buildings (ie:- car lot and the Vic) But he's never physically killed anyone! Phil is not a murderer! Phil Mitchell has a history of being the hard man, the gangster - the one man no should ever cross, but it's a true fact that Phil Mitchell has never killed anyone!
As Phil is giving the money to Ritchie for getting Ben out, he reveals that thanks to her work and Callum, Ben is out. Ritchie looks a little confused, Phil explains to her that Ben thinks it was Callum who got rid of the CCTV. Ritchie can't imagine how as Callum's position is just a junior copper. She explains to Phil that the only reason they probably would release Ben is if they were to get something bigger. She then drops the bombshell to Phil that the police could be potentially after him. Does this mean that Phil is going to go on the run? She's warned him to watch his back! Phil instantly looks as if he knows who could be behind it, has Callum grassed him up to the police?! I do have a horrible feeling about the outcome of this. I said it earlier - my two favourite characters of the soap are Stacey and Phil, they MAKE the soap for me. Walford wouldn't be the same without them! I do hope Phil will get away somehow, there always seem to be way that Phil will escape from the police, they sometimes do catch up with him, but he always somehow seems to get away. What do you guys think will happen? What's going to be in store for Ballum and Phil in the up-coming episodes! I'd love to know your thoughts!
I'll be back tomorrow following Thursday's and Friday's episode! Thanks again for reading everyone! Love you all xXx
