I’d feel Luci would open up faster to you than you would, part of his loneliness, but he respects your boundaries

He’ll only be “angry” if someone tries to pull anything with you, but has considerable patience with you.

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

B eauty - What do they admire about their s/o? What do they think is beautiful about them?

This god is one who loves food but I also think he has a weak spot for affection so maybe he admires the way they cook in the kitchen. Maybe he likes the way they dance around and hum while they cook or maybe he likes getting to be the taste tester for whatever they happen to be cooking. Either way, it's a win win for him.

Beerus isn't too attentive to things that don't interest him but he loves everything about his partner! I think Beerus is all about personality but hey, maybe he thinks the prettiest thing about them is their smile.

E qual - Are they the dominant one in the relationship, or rather passive?

Beerus,in public depending on the situation, is the dominant one in the relationship. He's got a reputation to uphold around the mortals,y'know? However, in the privacy of his home or when it's just him and his s/o, he can let himself be vulnerable and be passive just for them.

R omance - How romantic are they? What would they do to make their s/o happy? Cliché or rather creative?

Let's be fair... Beerus doesn't seem like the romantic type. The closest you get to romance is cuddling or maybe even him sharing his food, which is a rarity but they are an exception. If they're out and about with Beerus, whatever activities they have him participating in better allow him to nap or eat. He can be a bit of both if he tries.

U nderstanding - How good do they know their partner? Are they empathetic?

Beerus may be a bit scatterbrained but he tries his best to remember the little things like how they prefer to be held during naps, what foods they like, their favorite music to listen to, and even their favorite animes if they are a weeb like him. Beerus isn't great with social cues but he does try when they aren't feeling their best and going through a rough time.

S upport - Are they helping their s/o achieve their goals? Do they believe in them?

That's his SO! Of course he believes in them! He might indirectly help them achieve their goals via Whis or maybe he does it directly. Either way it goes, he helps however he can.

I'll be attempting to answer these as they come in, which shouldn't be too much of a problem as I'm getting an itch to write! I hope you enjoy this, Anon. C:

ATTRACTION:

I think, using Cherri Bomb as a reference, he enjoys people that are more open and out there. Perhaps someone he is on an equal level to, or perhaps even below. Though, I like to think he would enjoy a partner who is in a similar league of intelligence as him or have an interest in creation. Someone who is bold and speaks their mind, and is unapologetic about it. I think it also balances out Sir Pentious' personality as well. I do enjoy the thought that he would enjoy an attentive partner, someone who would pour as much of themselves into him, as he does for them.

DATES:

He likes to take you onto his ship and drive... fly... around, showing you the sites that the pride ring has to offer to you. May take this as a chance to show off his skills in machinery by boasting about the ship itself. However, long walks where the two of you are alone and taking in the view around you... conversing one on one is a common go to for him. Basing this around the time period he died in, your outings together are typically more private. I do think his way of things evolved as he spent his time in hell, taking on some more modern approaches such as asking you out to dinner or to see a movie.. but the classic approach will always be his first and preferred option.

JEALOUSY:

I enjoy the idea of Sir Pentious channeling the negative feelings that come with his jealous to himself. He's insecure, he doesn't have the most faith in himself in regards to relationships. He would still try to fight for your attention, though, even if it means making a fool of himself by the end of it. Perhaps, if it comes to a head he might pour out how he feels to you in a last ditch effort to win you over if there are outside influences or he feels the other person is about to steal you away; this is more likely if you two aren't together yet, though.

ZZZ:

Oftentimes he curls himself around you, pressing himself about you. I've written a similar post, where I tackle cuddling

He doesn't have a preference of being big spoon or little spoon, but he does have a preference for his nest. Sometimes he might shoo his egg boiz to the side so he can have you to himself. Though the idea of him letting them snuggle into you too is sweet. He commonly wraps his tail around you, locking you in place until he wakes up... perhaps the first few times this happens he's very apologetic, fearing that he may have overstepped. Reassure him that you don't mind, if you truly don't. He'd be crushed if he found out you weren't but lied to save his feelings. I think it would be funny if he had a funny snore, similar to the "honk shoo honk shoo" meme(?), or something within that lane.. so good luck with that.

L - Love Language - What is their love language? Does it change when it’s a romantic relationship or are they consistent with how they show love to friends and partners?

Gojo’s main love language is none of the ‘five original’ love languages, as it is 100% teasing you. It’s flattering, cause all his attention is on you most of the time you’re together, but you better be prepared to be flustered most of the time. He knows just what to say to make you laugh but also feel a little embarrassed with the right remarks and whispers that are always perfectly timed. He sends you memes all the time whenever you’re apart. The ‘hey, this reminded me of you’-kind. Some of them are super cute (two cats cuddling, an ‘I miss you meme’, but there’s also plenty of funny ones or the ones that call you out on your quirks. He takes what he can dish though, so feel free to send plenty back.

This doesn’t change much between a relationship and him being friends, he brings souvenirs after missions, he blows up everyone’s phones equally, and he is a little shit equally to all those he cares about.

What does change is the physical closeness he has with you, compared to other people. I wouldn’t necessarily say that he’s super into PDA or super touchy, but there is just a closeness, a tenderness that is distinctly different than the way he is around other people. Sitting close, with your thighs touching, a hand at the small of your back or on your shoulder, just walking closer to you, fingertips brushing against each other whenever you’re both handling something. He just enjoys being close to you at all times.

he LOVES your determination and how hard working you can be when you’re passionate about something. also adores how you can take his jokes and even tease him back.

B = Body (what is their favorite part of your body?)

as cheesy as it seems, I’d say your smile, just because he laughs to make people around him laugh, you even more. he feels a sense of accomplishment when a big, bright smile appears on your face.

C = Cuddling (how do they like to cuddle?)

will plaster himself on your back while you’re busy and won’t let go until you threaten him. his arms are tight and warm around you and he usually puts his head in the crook of your neck or on top of your head.

D = Dates (what does their ideal date with you look like?)

I feel like it can go two different ways: either he takes you to dinner in a fancy, but small restaurant and treats you like the royal he thinks you are, or he orders pizzas (and prays his team won’t scold him) and puts a comforting movie on.

E = Emotions (how do they express emotion around you?)

at first not quite, he’s used to being the funny, happy friend and hides himself behind this facade all the time. but as time passes and after you confront him about this, he’s way more transparent.

F = Family (do they want one? If they do, when?)

YES, BIG YES. I feel like the three leclerc brothers want a family at some point, and while he may be the less “eager” one, he still dreams of building a family with you. maybe not now, he’s still young and too focused on his career and his freedom and knows a kid or two will obviously restrict him in some way, but when he’s settled down enough and knows where his career is taking him, he’d be excited to have them.

G = Gifts (how do they feel about gift giving? What are their habits when it comes to this?)

casual kind of gifts-giver ! I feel like he’s a quality time and words of affirmation guy but he does love to bring you little gifts from wherever he travelled, little trinkets that made him think of you.

H = Holding Hands (when/how do they like to hold hands?)

oh boy does he LOVE to hold hands !! he’s not clingy per se but his hand will ALWAYS find its way to yours and stay linked together, no matter where you may be.

I = Injury (how would they act if you got hurt?)

drama king right there, he’ll first make sure it’s not that bad then will scold you about it, acting as if you nearly died when really, it’s a scratch. will threaten to wrap you in bubble wrap.

J = Jokes (do they like to joke around with or prank you? how?)

have you SEEN the man ???? if you can’t take a joke and can’t take some teasing, it’s over for you. not much of a prankster though, as he’s scared that it’ll end in a bad way and will potentially hurt you.

K = Kisses (how do they like to kiss you?)

he has two moods for this: either it’s teasing kisses, approaching you with a mischievous grin and playfully bugging you about whatever then peppering your face in kisses when you pout, or it’s really cute and romantic, pressing soft, long kisses to your head while you hug him.

L = Love (how do they show you they love you?)

brings you everywhere he can, invites you to every family outing, wether it’s a big family dinner or a coffee in town with his brothers, hypes you SO MUCH, takes you on thoughtful dates, sends you memes he’s found online.

M = Memory (favorite memory together?)

the first time meeting his family ! you two were out on a day and decided to stop at a cafe without realizing his mother and two brothers were there as well, Arthur too busy with you to notice the messages inviting him to a last minute hangout. his mother called him over and he had no choice but to introduce you to them. the warm welcome they all gave you will forever be stuck in his mind.

N = Nightmare (what is their worst fear?)

having to choose between you and his career, no doubts.

O = Oddity (what is one quirk they have?)

when he makes a joke or a witty remark, he’ll always steal a glance towards you to see if you’re laughing. his main goal is to make you happy, so he wants to make sure he makes you laugh with his attitude and quick remarks. if you’re not, he tries even harder, on the borderline of being annoying.

P = Pet Names (what do they like to call you?)

either a generic pet names in French, like « Chérie », « bébé », « mon coeur » or a pet name coming from an inside joke.

Q = Quality Time (how do they like to spend time with you?)

he LOVES going out and dragging you to parties, restaurants etc but also adores staying in with you and just chill. also likes it when you’re just in the same room as him while he’s working.

surprisingly long, because he knew he wanted to do things right with you contrary to what he did with his previous relationship, so he made sure to take his time.

completely shuts everyone out and become snappy. can be pretty mean with his words but will regret it once he’s feeling better and apologize many times for it.

V = Vaunt (what are they proud of? Do they like to show you off?)

he LOVES !!!! to show you off. his biggest pride is his career, but he’s also so proud of his two brothers and what they’ve achieved, especially charles. really proud of having you by his side, too.

W = Warrior (how do they feel about you fighting? Would they fight for you, beside you, etc?)

oh he’ll be the first one to throw a punch if you’re ever threatened, trust me. he’s not a violent dog but he’ll bite whoever tries to fight you.

X = X-Ray (how well are they able to read you?)

is very perceptive and will know when there’s the slightest change in your attitude.

Y = Yes (how would they propose to you?)

he’ll be SO stressed for the preparations. he knows you’ll say yes, has no doubts about it, but he feels you deserve only THE BEST and will worry his head off about preparing it. will seek his brothers and even his mother’s help and will plan a whole day, from morning to night, only about you. will convince Lorenzo to take you out for breakfast using whatever excuse, then the two of you will join Charles for lunch and spend the day at their mom’s house, while you’re completely confused about what’s going on and why Arthur’s not here. his brothers drive you to a restaurant using the excuse that they want to treat you for being a great “in law” but once you arrive, they leave you to find Arthur waiting for you at a table, dim lights and soft music playing as the restaurant’s surprisingly empty.

Z = Zen (what makes them feel calm?)

knowing you’re safe and sound in his arms. he always worries about you even when you’re seemingly fine, only at ease when you two are cuddled up together.

A = Admiration (what do they absolutely adore about you?)

We all know Kunikida has a lot of criteria for the ideal partner, and you might not necessarily fit all of them, but he will love you for any of those traits you do have.

B = Body (what is their favorite part of your body?)

He'd probably say your eyes or something nice and romantic like that but in his heart of hearts, Kunikida is a leg man through and through

C = Cuddling (how do they like to cuddle?)

He's pretty low-key about cuddling; usually he prefers to just sit with you with his arm around your shoulders, holding you close. He also likes to hold you while falling asleep, and prefers to be the big spoon.

D = Dates (what does their ideal date with you look like?)

Something traditional and romantic. Dinner at a nice restaurant, followed by a walk through a park. He'd rather it not be too crowded, if that's at all possible to achieve, so he can just focus on you and on making the night as enjoyable for both of you as possible.

E = Emotions (how do they express emotion around you?)

He has a tendency to not show strong emotions unless they're negative. He'll definitely let you know if he's angry, one way or another, but it takes a bit more work to coax a smile or laugh out of him. It comes a little easier than normal around you, though.

F = Family (do they want one? If they do, when?)

Kunikida has multiple pages dedicated to the topic in his ideals notebook.

He'd like to have exactly two children- he doesn't mind whether they're adopted or biologically related to him-, preferably by his mid-to-late 20s. He knows he doesn't have any control over the gender of his children, but having one girl and one boy would be ideal. He has a shortlist of acceptable baby names, and will not deviate from it. He will let you pick what name from the list to give your child(ren), though.

G = Gifts (how do they feel about gift giving? What are their habits when it comes to this?

Kunikida isn't a spontaneous gift-giver- he'll get you gifts at Christmas, on your birthday, Valentine's, etc. but not really outside of those occasions. He might give you flowers if you're going on a date, but that's about it. He just prefers other ways of showing his love for you.

He does try to make sure those gifts he does give you are good, though. He pays attention to things you want but can't or don't get for whatever reason throughout the year and you can bet you'll be getting some of those things for Christmas or your birthday.

H = Holding Hands (when/how do they like to hold hands?)

Hand-holding is one of the few acts of affection Kunikida is willing to do in public. He likes holding your hand a lot, because it feels nice, and it has practical benefits as well. It's a simple way of showing affection and displaying that the two of you are together, plus it's harder for the two of you to get separated. The way he sees it, there's no real reason not to hold hands.

I = Injury (how would they act if you got hurt?)

He'd be very concerned, of course. If it was a life-threatening injury he would take you to Yosano, but he'd rather not subject you to that, so if it's serious but not immediately life-threatening, though he would take you to the hospital and, once you were home, would make sure you were resting and recovering properly. Expect a lot of scolding along the lines of "don't do that, you'll tear your stitches". It might be annoying but it's just because he cares (and he's probably right, anyways).

J = Jealousy (do they get jealous?)

He doesn't get jealous, exactly, because he trusts that you'll just turn down anyone who's flirting with you, but he does get irritated and intervene if they persist. Not because he's worried they'll take you away from him or something but because they have the nerve to keep bothering you after you've rejected them and he does not stand for people being so rude to you.

K = Kisses (how do they like to kiss you?)

I hope you like sweet, gentle kisses because Kunikida sure does. That'll likely be how he greets you every day when he gets home from work. You can also expect a quick peck on the lips whenever he leaves. Or whenever the mood strikes him, really. He's also a fan of neck kisses when things get a little steamier- but that's a discussion for a different time.

L = Love (how do they show you they love you?)

Kunikida is surprisingly big on physical affection- only when you're alone in private and have been together for a respectable amount of time, of course, but still. You'll get plenty of gentle kisses and quiet moments sitting together with his arm around your shoulders.

He'll also tell you he loves you plenty- again, once you've been together long enough that he feels it's appropriate. After he says it the first time, though, and you return the sentiment, he gets much more comfortable saying it often.

M = Memory (favorite memory together?)

Any time that you comforted him. His job can really take a toll on him, and when you try to make him feel better it really lets him know that you care about him. Remembering all those little moments makes him feel very loved.

N = Nightmare (what is their worst fear?)

There's two potential scenarios that he worries about: the first is that he'll get killed on a job and leave you alone without even getting to say goodbye. The second is that you'll be attacked and hurt or even killed by the Port Mafia or one of Agency's other enemies. He's well aware that both are very real possibilities, too, and will do everything in his power to ensure neither one comes true.

O = Oddity (what is one quirk they have?)

Well, it's Kunikida. You're going to have to get used to his scheduling and notebooks pretty quick. He doesn't do spontaneous- all your dates and stuff are going to have to be planned in advance pretty much down to the minute.

P = Pet Names (what do they like to call you?)

Your name, mostly. Pet names just aren't his thing, really. If he's in a particularly romantic mood, he might let a few slip, like "my love", "darling", "dear", stuff like that.

Q = Quality Time (how do they like to spend time with you?)

He likes to cook with you. Even if you're not a very good cook, hell, even if he isn't, you will learn together and it'll be so worth it when you two finally get it right.

Outside of that, he's happy just to sit and talk with you. You can tell each other about how your day went, any books you've read or TV you've watched, anything, really, so long as you can hold a conversation.

R = Rhythm (what song reminds you of them?)

Kunikida seems like a fan of what I like to call Dad Music- American rock from the 70s and 80s. He doesn't understand the lyrics, since they're in English, but he doesn't mind that- if anything it just makes it easier to listen to it while he works or focuses on something else. So you'll probably end up associating that type of music with him. (Sharp Dressed Man by ZZ Top stands out in particular though, for hopefully obvious reasons.)

S = Secrets (how open are they with you?)

Kunikida doesn't want to keep secrets from you, he really doesn't. But it's kind of inevitable in his line of work, especially if you aren't with the ADA yourself. He can't always let you know exactly what he's been doing, either because it's classified or, more personally, because it's dangerous and he doesn't want you to worry about him. Outside of those work-related matters, though, he tries to be as open as possible. Communication is the key to a good relationship, after all.

T = Time (how long did it take you to get together?)

It took A While, mostly because it took a pretty long time for Kunikida to figure out that not only did he have feelings for you, but you returned those feelings. Once he figured that out, though (possibly with some "help"- read, relentless teasing- from Dazai), he didn't waste a lot of time in asking you out.

U = Upset (how do they act when you’re upset?)

Kunikida isn't the most comforting person by nature. He'll try to get you away from whatever's making you upset first and then stay with you as you calm down. He might not say anything, but if you need him to hold you or something like that he will.

If you're upset at him, though, it's a slightly different story. Arguments with him are pretty rare, but they can easily get very heated when they do happen, and he'll probably need to leave you alone for a few minutes to calm down. Once he's calm, though, he'll come back and try to talk it out.

V = Vaunt (what are they proud of? Do they like to show you off?)

He doesn't exactly show you off, he feels like that would be immature, but make no mistake, he is proud of you and your relationship. If you make any kind of major advancement in your life, like getting a promotion, he will be so proud of you.

W = Warrior (how do they feel about you fighting? Would they fight for you, beside you, etc?)

This probably depends on your circumstances a little- if you're with the ADA or have otherwise shown him you're capable of fighting, he'd presumably know you're more than capable of holding your own and do what he could to back you up in a fight.

If you aren't a good fighter, though, he would do whatever he had to in order to keep you out of a fight. He doesn't want you getting hurt and you can bet he'd fuss at you a lot if you Leeroy Jenkins'd into a fight anyways.

X = X-Ray (how well are they able to read you?)

Kunikida is not great at reading people, though it might come easier with someone he's very close to like you. Still, you'll have to be upfront with him about how you're feeling. He'll be able to tell if you're really upset about something but might not be sure what you're upset about; just tell him and he'll try to help. (He isn't super comforting by nature, either, but he'll try.)

Y = Yes (how would they propose to you?)

After you had been dating for a few years, he would take you on a date- most likely what was described in the 'D' section, dinner at a nice restaurant followed by a walk through a park. This wouldn't be the first time you've gone on such a date, but you would be able to tell right away from how he's acting that something is different about this time.

He would propose at the park. He'd wait until no one is around- he doesn't want you to feel pressured by a public proposal- before dropping to one knee and popping the question. He'd be nervous as all hell, but of course that would disappear as soon as you said yes.

He'd start planning the wedding pretty much immediately, if he hadn't started already. He'd want your input on everything, of course, but unless you decided to really take charge he'd definitely be the most in charge of planning.

Z = Zen (what makes them feel calm?)

Getting to go home and sit or lie down next to you. If he's had a particularly frustrating day he'll vent to you about it too but you don't even have to say anything, just your presence is enough.

Platonic fluff alphabet

For as much as I say I want to write more platonic stuff to explore friendships with different characters, I don't do it much... so as a fun little thing I present the platonic alphabet! Similar to the usual fluff alphabet, but any prompts that are usually present in the normal alphabet that are usually read as romantic are swapped out with a different prompt! R6S Duolingo and language learning HCs

Stupid fluff/crack hcs for some of the r6s operators, inspired by a recent heated discussion in our research group about everyone’s Duolingo habits (lol).

Warnings/notes: none (unless you’re severely traumatized by the Duolingo owl, though if that’s the case, it’s probably already too late anyways) Slight romance and/or suggestiveness in some.

Sorted alphabetically under the cut—I wrote for everyone that popped into my mind at the time.

Ace: Will totally take the initial placement test for Norwegian, just for that cheap and easy XP-boost that will catapult him to the top of the leaderboard and allow him to flex his high score in front of the others. (Everyone knows what’s going on, but let’s let him have this.) Will be extra motivated should you decide to get the app as well and absolutely swoon over you should you decide to take up Norwegian (he still won’t take it well should you outcompete him on the leaderboard, though, so keep that in mind).

Bandit: Doesn’t really care for the app per se, but is more than happy to help expand your knowledge of German swear words and street slang should you decide to take it up, whether you want it or not. If you’re serious about learning the language, he will do his best to help you in earnest and make an effort to include you in the German banter between the GSG9 member (be careful, though, as he will absolutely take the opportunity to feed you wrong and/or offensive words every now and then so he can have a laugh when you cheerfully insult any of the other German operators, thinking you were merely throwing out some German slang). Will be more encouraged than ever to give you German pet names. He would also take the opportunity to introduce you to his favorite German bands and songs (just stay wary of the meaning of some of the lyrics you will inevitably pick up).

Blitz: This is his home turf—Elias doesn’t need to be convinced to download the app, he already has it (and every other language learning app out there) ready to go on his phone. He finds the questions and problems in Duolingo too easy to really challenge him, but he’ll use it to refresh his memory on grammar and vocabulary during breaks or look into the more exotic languages they offer just for fun. Gets very excited if you are interested in languages, too, and all the more so if the language you want to learn happens to be German! He will send you all kinds of materials and resources to help you study, from news articles to memes. When he sees you practicing using the app, he will come up to you and give you a kiss whenever you get an exercise right.

Doc: Gustave always encourages the people around him to try new things and stay flexible, physically and mentally, so he welcomes it when you introduce him to the app. Other operators might complain about the persistent reminders sent by the app, but Doc actually appreciates them—without them, he would quickly forget about the app again as he’s always caught up with work late into the night. Should you decide to learn French, he will gladly practice with you whenever you have a moment of time throughout the day, remaining patient and encouraging even as you torment him with the exhilarating questions about his name and profession that come with the early stages of learning a new language.

Dokkaebi: Will get super competitive and try to get as many of the other Rainbow members as possible into Duolingo as well. They don’t all have to learn the same language, but there will be an internal competition about who earns the most points every week. Will probably act casually about it, but then log into the app again at the last minute before the leaderboard closes, while her fellow operators are either already asleep or focused on something else and absolutely obliterate them and their scores. If you tell her that you want to learn Korean, she might be a bit surprised at first, but will quickly find it endearing when it becomes apparent that you’re serious about it. She loves it when you text her in Korean whenever you learned something new and will in turn send you Korean proverbs and other tidbits you might fight interesting.

Glaz: Not a huge fan of the app (maybe because he doesn’t think the interface is visually appealing?). Would maybe use it to gain a basic understanding of the language of a country he’s sent to on a mission + any themed lessons that catch his eye. If your native language isn’t English or Russian, he would use the app to check out the basics while he’s away from you, though he would much rather get the explanations directly from you. If you inform him that you’re trying to learn Russian, his heart will melt and he will shower you with sweet words of praise and encouragement to make you feel comfortable enough to speak to him in his native language. Will also buy you a premium subscription when you aren’t looking to make learning even more fun for you.

IQ: Monika is smart and a quick learner - you know it, I know it, it’s literally implied in her codename. Quickly uninstalls the app again because she finds the exercises too easy and doesn’t want to bother wasting time on having to unlock the few lessons she’d actually be interested in. If you or another operator were the ones getting her into the app, however, she’d keep it around just so she can keep doing the weekly challenges with you—she finds it cute when you get all competitive about it and it makes her happy that you want to participate in them with her. Her first reaction to you telling her that you want to learn German would be a blunt “Why?,” as she thinks you might get more use out of other languages. Tell her that you’re doing it for her and she becomes incredibly flustered (all the more so should you decide to call her by one or more German pet name(s)), yet happy at the same time.

Jäger: Marius quickly incorporated the app into his daily routine, usually getting his daily session in during breakfast or dinner. Will regularly remind his GSG9 colleagues to use the app by sharing his milestones to their group chat (*screenshot of perfect 2-week-streak* “Und bei euch so? 😏” (”what about you guys? 😏”) Will be very giddy should you decide to learn German—he’s very eager to practice with you and will constantly point out how certain things are called in German as well as give you additional info and expressions. He’ll probably get ahead of himself and it will be nearly impossible to remember everything he’s telling you, but he doesn’t expect you to and is glad to repeat it.

Kapkan: Hates it. Thinks the interface looks stupid, the sample conversations pointless, and was just about ready to ask Sledge to borrow his hammer to smash his phone and computer because he accidentally consented to receive all the reminders and push notifications and it’s driving him insane. If you’re using the app to learn a language and feel like its helping you, however, he is willing to put up with the eye sore that is the Duolingo owl and the noise pollution coming from the app, just for you (particularly if the language you are trying to learn is Russian—his adoration for your efforts outweighs any negative feelings he may have). If your native language is something different from Russian or English, he would make an effort to learn at least the basics in it when things start to get serious. While he’s a diligent student, he becomes surprisingly shy and easily flustered when attempting to speak to you in your native language, so stay patient and give him lots of encouragement.

Montagne: As his perceived lack of proficiency in foreign languages when compared to some of the other Rainbow operators is something that’s been bothering him on and off for some time, he was very happy and receptive when you introduced him to the app. He uses it to quietly practice by himself during moments of downtime as he goes about his day. I feel like he’d be the type of person to have a 500+ day streak that makes you go “damn! :0″ when you see it on their profile for the first time. Is over the moon when you reveal to him that you’ve been trying to learn some French for him and have nothing but praise for even your most awkward attempts at speaking to him in French. Naturally, he will want to repay the favor and take up your language in return, but it will take some verbal encouragement from you before he overcomes his shyness to actually talk to you in your native language.

Mute: would never resort to cheap exploits like raking in a massive number of points by acing the placement test in his native language (as others are rumored to have done), but would quickly figure out the little tricks, bonuses, and power-ups that allow him to continuously earn the highest score possible while learning. Finds the exercises too easy and doesn’t like how you have to unlock certain topics through progression, rather than being able to freely choose what you’re interested in learning right from the beginning. If your native language isn’t English, he will look for other better resources on it on his own. Even if English isn’t your first language, he doesn’t really see any concrete need for you to improve but will respect your desire to do so by providing you with recommendations for English books and movies, as well as the offer of discussing them with him once you’re done with them.

Smoke: While the gamification aspect does hold some appeal in his eyes, he doesn’t really feel the need to follow the path given by the app—he’s convinced that if you want to learn a new language, it should ideally come naturally to you by actively engaging with source materials in it (read: chemical safety data sheets, scientific papers, and online shitposts). Should his daughter discover her love for Duolingo-based language learning, however, you bet he would download and use the app, if only to keep her happy and connect with her (he would, however, be equally happy if you were to compete with her in the challenges in his stead—in fact, he would only adore you more for doing so). If your native language isn’t English, the first thing he would ask you to teach him are swearwords, if nothing else, so he can annoy his fellow operators even more effectively. If things get serious between the two of you, however, he will be more than eager to learn other things as well from you.

Tachanka: Would use the app to learn a few bits in your language as an icebreaker and to surprise you & show you how much he cares about you. Flirty and straightforward as he is, he would then quickly graduate to asking you for some one-on-one conversation training sessions, offering to teach you basic Russian (or flirting/swearwords, depending on how you roll). Should you decide to learn Russian, he will be all over you whenever you use your newly acquired, meager language skills on him — he will be incredibly happy and proud of you. In fact, he might get a little too excited and unintentionally embarrass you a little by boasting about your “skills” to his fellow Spetsnaz members, putting you on the spot when they subsequently demand a first-hand demonstration. He’s quick to pick up on the naughtiest, most suggestive expressions in your native language and will make good use of them behind closed doors with absolutely zero shame, causing your blood to flow to your face (as well as other places) whenever he does so.

Thatcher: Was most definitely pressured into getting the app by someone else on his team and only begrudgingly agreed to use it under the condition that that person would also set everything up for him. He will quickly get annoyed by it and delete it after Duo keeps counting typos he didn’t bother to correct as mistakes, subsequently providing you with ample opportunity to expand your vocabulary of British swearing. If English isn’t your native language, he would try to learn some phrases from your first language for you. He’s very serious about it and somehow selects rather lyrical source materials for this endeavor—on occasion he sounds like an old-timey gentleman plucked straight from a romance novel, causing a blush to appear on your cheeks every time he talks to you like that.

Thermite: Another one who would probably see Duolingo as a kind of dating app with extra steps. Would repeatedly come to you under the pretense of asking you how certain features of the app work, etc., just so he has an excuse to stay close to you. If you’re in an established relationship, he will ask you for a kiss for every exercise he gets right whenever he’s actually using it to practice. Will make an effort to remember the most random sample phrases to repeat them back to his fellow operators in their native language and think he’s hilarious for doing so. If you’re the type of person that gets discouraged whenever you accidentally miss a day, causing your streak to break (the type of person he is), he will briefly log into your account and do a quick and easy exercise just to keep your streak going when he sees you haven’t logged into the app after you’ve already gone to bed. Will also really work with the random, basic phrases he’s learned in your language so far to impress you or at least make you laugh.

Rhys is very big on aftercare after sex. He loves showering you in attention and also loves being showered with attention himself. I headcanon that Rhys is a particularly clean guy, so he doesn't really like making a mess of you or himself. F = Favorite position (this goes without saying)

Missionary: His favorite when he's in a lovey dovey mood is for sure missionary. He loves holding you or being held close by you. He also likes the fact that he can look into your eyes and see every reaction you make on your face.

I = Intimacy (how are they during the moment? the romantic aspect)

He tries really hard to be a romantic guy, but sometimes he just gets too awkward and worked up. Praise is a good one to get him going.

It sends him into a panic if anything. He also has mixed feelings with the thought of getting caught. It's thrilling, but it also terrifies him at the same time. If the experimenting is something harmless though, then he'd be good to try it with you.

S = Stamina (how many rounds can they go for? how long do they last?)

Tales Rhys doesn't really have that high of a stamina. Like said earlier, he's not really that much of a fling guy. So when you come around he has to build up his stamina a bit. He tries his best, he really does. You just feel too good and he gets lost in the moment.

After the two of you are together for a while, or Bl3 Rhys who I believe to be a bit more experienced, he can last a few rounds as long as he has some break time, plus he lasts a lot longer as well. He normally uses those break times for foreplay. He knows how to ration out his rounds and give you a good night. He's able to figure out your body just right so you've cum more than him some nights, even.

T = Toys (do they own toys? do they use them? on a partner or themselves?)

I don't think he really owns any toys, but he's not afraid to use them. If anything he uses them to his advantage on you. If you have female anatomy he especially likes straps. W = Wild card (a random headcanon for the character)

If the two of you are in a relationship during his Tales era he won't have sex with you for the longest time because of Jack. He hates having him linger and make perverted comments when the two of you are just cuddling or kissing. The thought of letting Jack see you naked, even if he is just an AI, freaks him out more than anything. So he does his best to avoid it with you until he can figure out if he can actually get Jack out of his head or not. Or at least get him under control so he can't see everything that he does.

X = X-ray (let’s see what’s going on under those clothes)

That is up for you guys to decide. I don't like giving this that much of a description lmao.

Y = Yearning (how high is their sex drive?)

Before gets with you it's super high. You're all that's on his mind and it gets him pretty sexually frustrated. After he's with you it's still pretty high, but he's more mellow and less frustrated about it. Unless he's been working a lot and neither of you have really had the time to have sex or even really hang out with each other.

He tries to wait until you fall asleep, but he's normally the first to pass up. He either uses all of his energy in the act or he's just worn out from a hard day of work and then this. He also just feels calm and at ease after sharing moments like that with you. So he normally falls asleep because it's the first time his minds actually not racing long enough for him to fall asleep.

A: Affection (How affectionate are they with a s/o?)

Very. He isn't the least bit shy about showing affection, there WILL be hugs, kisses and cuddles whenever you're together. He has no reservations about PDA either, if you guys don't have a reputation as the most obnoxiously affectionate couple in the Kingdom of Science you aren't doing it right.

B: Breath (What can their s/o do to take their breath away)

Smile. Laugh. Look at him with love in your eyes and kiss him on the cheek. Just stand there and keep being absolutely beautiful. He's pretty easy in that regard.

C: Cuddle (Do they cuddle? If they do, how and when do they cuddle?)

Heck yes he cuddles. He likes to cuddle when you're falling asleep together, and any time you're just chilling together. He likes spooning, and he prefers to be the big spoon.

D: Dream (What do they dream of doing with their s/o?)

He wants to see the world, and he wants you by his side the whole time.

E: Effort (How much effort do they put into a relationship?)

At this point in his life, with all the prior relationship experience he has, it comes pretty naturally to him at this point. He does, however, put more effort into the relationship than you'll probably even notice unless you're looking for it.

F: Fear (What do they do if their s/o is scared? How do they handle it?)

If it's something physical scaring you, step one is to get you away from whatever that is (related note, Ryusui is definitely the guy to go to if you need a spider killed). Step two is lots of cuddles until you've calmed down and feel better.

G: Gifts (What type of gifts do they give their s/o? Do they want a gift in return?)

Ryusui is the best at gift-giving and it's one of the main ways he shows his love. This would be most prominent in a modern setting, when he had enough money to buy pretty much anything without putting a dent in his bank account, but even in the stone world, he'll manage to find you good gifts.

H: Hugs (Do they hug their s/o? How often?)

Ryusui gives bone-crushingly tight hugs, whenever the opportunity presents itself. He loves having you in his arms and pressed against him, after all. Whether or not you can breath in this position is irrelevant.

I: Intimacy (How romantic are they? Do they have problems with intimacy?)

Very romantic. He always seems to know just what to say, and what to do to make you feel incredibly loved and sweep you off your feet- figuratively and literally, no one ever talks about how jacked Ryusui is but going by appearances he's definitely strong enough to literally lift you off your feet.

J: Jealous (Do they get jealous? How do they act when jealous?)

Not in the slightest, surprisingly enough. It's tempting to think he would be possessive because of his general attitude but monogamy has never really been his thing and it would be unfair to hold you to a different standard. Somebody flirting with you or even you flirting with somebody else doesn't bother him too much unless the other person is being disrespectful in which case he'd intervene if you needed him to. He'd also be comfortable in an open or poly relationship, so if that was something you wanted, he'd be all in.

K: Kiss (Are they a good kisser? Do they like to kiss? How often do they try to kiss you?)

He is an amazing kisser, oh my god. His kisses will absolutely take your breath away, and he loves to kiss you. It's one of his favorite ways to show you affection, to hold you close and kiss you with a gentle passion while running his fingers through your hair and it's just perfect.

L: Love (When do they say they love you? How often do they say it? Do they prefer to say it or show it?)

He has absolutely no hesitation whatsoever about telling you he loves you. Doesn't even wait until later in the relationship when most people would consider it "appropriate" to tell you. Why should he bother with that when he does, in fact, love you already?

M: Marriage (Do they want to get married? If so, what kind of ceremony?)

For as loving and romantic as he is, he takes some time to warm up to the idea of marriage. He's not entirely opposed to it or anything, he's just never been too keen on the idea of fully tying himself down to loving one person for the rest of his life- but after being with you long enough, he could change his mind. He'd like to get married to you at sea, and he would want all of your friends to be there. He'd accept nothing less than an absolutely lavish ceremony and reception, too, nothing but the finest of things for HIS spouse!

N: Night out (What type of dates do they like to go on? How often do they like to go on them?)

Before the petrification, his dates usually consisted of taking his partner out to a nice part of whichever city he found himself in and taking them to dinner, then wandering around window shopping and whatever else they felt like. In the Stone World, he would try to recreate the experience as best as he could, but it obviously wouldn't be quite the same. If you have any better date ideas, he'd be more than happy to go along with them.

O: Out of the Ordinary (What’s something they don’t normally do for/with their s/o?)

We all know Ryusui is greedy, and he's not going to temper that part of himself for you. If you're super into minimalism or really fervently anti-capitalist or something that would likely end up as a serious point of contention in the relationship.

P: Playful (Are they playful in a relationship? If so, how do they play around/mess with their s/o?)

Ryusui likes to start tickle fights, especially when you're feeling a little down and he thinks you could use a laugh.

Q: Questions (Do they ask their s/o their opinion on things? Do they share theirs?)

Your opinion is very important to him, but he doesn't always think to ask you for it. He'd like it if you would just tell him your thoughts and he'll take them into consideration as much as he can- he'll do the same thing, and expect the same level of respect for his opinions.

R: Random (How spontaneous is their relationship? Do they do things on the spot or plan ahead?)

He's pretty spontaneous when it comes to matters of romance. He plans dates and stuff ahead a little, but it's never more planned out than "We'll go out tonight", whatever you end up doing while you're out is up to wherever your whims take you.

S: Sleep (How do they sleep with their s/o?)

He likes to sleep holding you, and/or with you resting your head on his chest, basically using him as a pillow. As always, he is the big spoon.

T: Trust (How much do they trust their s/o?)

He has a lot of trust in all his friends, but that goes double for you as the person closest to him. He knows he can count on you to have his back, and you can say the same for him.

U: Unique (What makes them unique as a s/o?)

The fact that he was quite rich pre-petrification, is fully planning on regaining that wealth and has a butler has gotta count for something. Like, this is a guy who can give you the good life.

V: Vulnerable (How long until they can be vulnerable around their s/o? What are they like in this state?)

I think it takes a while. That's a side of himself Ryusui doesn't show often. But everybody feels sad, or maybe just tired sometimes and eventually he's going to let you see that in him. When he's in that state, I think he's just temporarily a lot more subdued and quiet than usual, and he just needs you to stay with him for a while, you don't need to talk about it, he just wants you there. It doesn't take him very long to get back to normal.

W: Wild Card (Random domestic headcanon)

A big thing about dating Ryusui is that you're also going to have to get used to Francois. It could feel a little awkward at first, because, well, do you know the proper way to interact with your boyfriend's butler? I certainly don't. But don't worry too much, because Francois likes you just just fine, and they totally shipped you and Ryusui before y'all got together anyways

X: X-Ray (What would they do if their s/o got injured?)

He'd take you to Senku or whoever the most knowledgable medic nearby is in the immediate aftermath and then hover around while they're trying to help you. Later on, he'd do whatever he could to help you recover as fully and quickly as possible… and probably bother the medics a little more asking if there's anything else he can do to help you out.

Y: Yuck (Do they have any pet peeves about their s/o? Are there any habits that might bother their s/o?)

He would get pretty annoyed if you were ever needlessly mean to other people, otherwise there's not much you can do that would bug him too much. Something that might bother you if you're the jealous type is that he won't immediately stop openly finding other people attractive. Like, he wouldn't do anything with anyone else unless you were okay with it, but he still might admire and compliment others' appearances.

Z: Zeal (Are they passionate as a s/o? Do they want or like passion?)

100% yes, he is a very passionate lover, and with the level of affection and all the ways he says and shows that he loves you, you won't be able to doubt it for a second.

b = bed; what’s the sleeping situation like? are there regular sleeping arrangements - does anyone like to sleep alone?

I like to think they each have their own separate bedrooms and then have one larger bedroom with a massive bed for all six. It's a very extravagant idea but that's what fandom is for!!!!!!

Hiccup technically hasn't slept alone since Toothless moved into his house, so he probably enjoys sleeping with someone and having Toothless right there.

I have to assume, especially on the Edge, Astrid prefers to sleep alone. Hiccup, when describing how their huts on the Edge can be whatever they individually want says, "Astrid, you can make yours the most heavily armed bedroom in the known Viking world." She also sleeps with weapons under her pillow.

I could see Snotlout really preferring to sleep next to someone.

t = terms of endearment; nicknames! who’s crazy on them, and who do they make cringe? what’re the go-to’s?

After hearing Astrid and Hiccup call each other "honey" in the Homecoming short, I was like, yeah, the OT6 do this.

Ruffnut also had a list of things for Fishlegs to call her when they were uhhh illegally married? (Their officiator was her brother and he wasn't actually able to do that.) She's probably the one who's crazy on them the most. I think she would do it for mostly the giggles, but probably enjoys it.

I don't think they do shortening of names. Like, Hiccup calls Snotlout and Fishlegs "Lout, Legs" in the first movie during a battle scene, but... that doesn't really become a thing. Though, Tuff once called Astrid "Hoff" in RTTE, and honestly, I vibe so hard.

Debatable who would cringe at nicknames. Tuffnut is completely unlikely because he is impervious to cringe. I think Hiccup would be the most embarrassed by a nickname/pet name. Astrid, too, especially if its something cutesy.

Debatable if "dear" is something they call each other since Viggo referred to Hiccup, in particular, using that language.
