Found these pics of Yuki and they made me happy, so I thought I’d share! <3
One of Yuki’s quotes that inspire me:
“I don’t think being weak is a good thing... but I also don’t think 'stronger’ necessarily means ‘better’. You sometimes hear that it’s survival of the fittest. But we’re not animals. We’re human.” (Season 1, episode 18)

i love when characters are naive/trusting/innocent and its framed as a good thing. to put your heart out there and risk getting hurt by people who dont care about you and then to keep doing that over and over until you find people worth trusting is, i think, actually a very good thing. and to see an example of someone loving fiercely and indiscriminately and not being chastised or ridiculed or taken advantage of by the people around them is so so important.
no more cautionary tales about being careful who you trust. no more using the words "naive" and "trusting" in a derisive or condescending tone. im tired of being told the world is a scary and dangerous place and that you have to always be on your guard. more stories about how trusting others is difficult but always worthwhile, about how everyone has good in them, about how important it is to connect with others. thank you for coming to my ted talk

'I've already lost several loved ones. Please, don't go'
Damn, I'm getting obsessed over this AU even though there's barely premise. My brain is just flooding with ideas.

It's Okay to Live
(this is NOT a fanfic, I decided to write a little and hopefully inspiring rant)
This is inspired by the cute little threads I see on pinterest~★
I always crave adventure.
I always crave to feel pretty and there are days where I'm desperate for people to like me. But I can't change my chemistry or my looks for the people around me. Instead of hurting, I can heal myself. It's okay if I slip sometimes. I can wear that bandaid on my cheek and be alright. I can just wear what I like and eventually people will find me, people who are genuine and will care.
What I can change is my soul. I can be kinder and help others.I can be there for others even if I know that they won't be there for me.
I can go outside everyday and appreciate the world. I can have questions and wonders about life.
I can find beauty in small wonders and I can be amazed by the big phenemonons that this world has to offer as well. I can appreciate my favorite type of rain and gaze at a million sunsets even if they will always be the same.
I think it's okay to reread my favorite book again and again, even if the ending will be the same. Even if there are many other stories to explore. I think it's okay to rewatch my favorite shows over and over because they bring me joy and comfort. I feel safe.
It's okay to have an interest or hobby and not be an expert. It's okay to be happy and it's okay to be sad. It's okay to not have a reason, you are valid.
It's okay to break and it's okay to hate too. Nobody is pure good and bad. We aren't yin and yang, we are a fused gray. We are human.
I hope you guys enjoyed reading this, and make you feel not alone lmao. I will continue fanfics soon. Havs a great day and week. I love you!♡

Ehehehe I'm reading your comments rn!! Would I be able to know your answer for 3? Or 15 since I mentioned that poem? ahaha
LOLOL I'm reading your replies now~ I'm assuming you mean number 6 too? 3 inspiring characters? hope i'm not mistakened
Kobuchizawa Shirase [A Place Further Than The Universe]
She doesn't give up even when everyone around her ridiculed her for her dream to go to Antartica. I love all the girls and their journeys but the satisfaction and tears I cried for her when they finally landed on the ice continent....
Shima Rin [Yuru Camp]
If watching her solo camp and then heading out on my own to camp a week later to rekindle my love for the outdoors isn't considered inspirational, idk what is. I'm her. She is me.
Ahiru [Princess Tutu]
She is a duck transformed into a young ballerina Princess Tutu. When I watched this show when I was little, I hated it. BAITED. Bc the ending was not the fairytale I wanted. I rewatched it during college. Ahiru's journey of self-acceptance and selfless courage from love is a tearjerker. “May those who accept their fate find happiness. May those who defy their fate find glory.”
