“He wonders…” TWST boys dreaming about their crush (Octavinelle)

Azul Ashengrotto

Azul has always dreamed big ever since he was a child: to prove the rest of the children wrong and be the best of the best, and now he has. A dorm leader who runs Monstro Lounge as if it has become a mini metropolis of NRC.The smartest student around who helps the poor, unfortunate souls… but yet he still dreams of more. More. And more.

He dreams more of… you. You flood his mind, once a calm river that flowed silently suddenly became a sea where the waves made thunderous clashes against one another, it became louder and louder, more frequent and powerful than the first. He wakes up while blushing upon realising he was dreaming of you, where the waves stretched themselves onto the sandy white shore, the sea breeze making you look as if you were an angel of sorts. You smiled at him, calling for his name, and you said you love him…

The poor octopus, too caught up in his dream, didn’t realise Jade was right in front of him, gently waking him up from his dream as he fell asleep on his desk. “My, my Azul. Your face is so red. Have you gotten a fever?” Jade teased, smiling mischievously as if he already knew. “He must be thinking of his crush, Jade~” Floyd chips in, grinning just as mischievous as his brother. “You must be right, Floyd~” they both chuckled. “Oh would you two just get back to work?!” Azul bashfully frowned, shouting softly at them in a defensive manner.

What is he to do? Isn’t he the perfect student? Can’t he just walk up to you with class and might, strut a charismatic pose with a charming smile and woo you with no effort? What he dreams of doing is much better said than done… or better dreamt of than done. The moment you smile at him when he calls you, he chickens out last minute, either excusing himself stupidly or telling you something different from what he truly wanted to confess. Azul hates it, why is he scared? “They’re too good for me…” he mumbled into his pillow, frustrated that he couldn’t utter a single part of his feelings for you.

All he can do is dream… or so he thought. As miserable as he has become, there is hope when he found you sad and dejected, he dreamed of this exact scenario of comforting you. Of course he’s genuine, wanting to make you feel better so he whisks you away and soothe you, and you hug him afterwards, just as he dreams. The pink blush that adorned his cheeks, he softly tells you, “You can always come to me, Pearl. I love you, don’t ever forget that.” <3

Jade Leech

Honestly… does he even dream of anything..? It’s hard to tell, you can’t exactly pin him in a “Dream” or “Don’t Dream” type of guy. It’s hard to tell, so let me let you in on a little secret. He does dream. A lot. And a lot more than you think.

He could be doing his duties at Monstro Lounge going around table to table serving the customers and be dreaming about his mushrooms growing to become gigantic. He does have some child-like dreams of his own, and he masks his own dreamy look too well for the normal eye to tell. However, Azul and Floyd are pretty much the only ones who can tell whether he’s dreaming or not. He’s the type who looks like he’s paying attention, but he really isn’t. At least, not all of him is focused. Who drones off to his own world while dreaming of you smiling sweetly at him while complimenting the terrarium he just showed you. “Mr Jade, what is the answer to this equation?” The professor snapped him out of thought. “Ah,” he pretends to flip his notes as if he wrote down his answer. “16.7.” “That’s correct.”

It’s incredible how he can give a valid answer while in his own little world, where his own little world revolves around you. He felt blissful when you kiss his forehead in his dreams, or how he closes his eyes slightly slower to focus on how he recalls your laugh. It’s quite obvious to his best friend and brother: he’s in love with you. Jade dreams of the smaller things, the fine details he rather focus about on you. It’s just his preferred dream.

Let us not forget now, Jade wants those dreams to become real. He’s just waiting for the right time to confess to you. He dreams of the scenario in his head: the two of you would be alone in his room making terrariums and having light and airy conversations, giggling and smiling at one another, keeping it casual and simple.

He’ll tell you all about each species, observing the way your eyes sparkle with curiosity and awe and he smiles to himself before he looks back to the terrarium he’s making. “I had fun, Jade. Thanks for letting me be with you!” You smiled with him with a blush. That’s… not what he dreamt of, but he certainly isn’t complaining. In fact, he’s smiling wider, with confidence and bliss. “I had to. But it can be always if you say that you love me, too.” His cheeks bloom pink. <3

Floyd Leech

Floyd isn’t a heavy dreamer, but he still dreams. His dreams are quite chaotic and bizarre, but dreams are dreams and he likes to dream when he gets bored. He can dream of annoying Riddle and all, but he’s mostly dreaming about you when he dozes off. Why not, right? Floyd dreams of you shamelessly: you in a dress getting splashed by him at the seashore, you laughing and splashing him back as he playfully chases you down the beach and into the water, transforming into his eel form and picking you up, smiling and laughing heartily and-

“Floyd Leech!” “Hm?” He nonchalantly hums as the professor snapped at him. “Pay attention! No dozing off!” Floyd rolls his eyes and carries on dreaming, no one can stop him from thinking about you. He grins widely, eye lids half-lidded as he pays no heed to his professors previous reprimands, dozing regardless just to dream of you.

Sometimes he tells you his dreams, just not the ones about you. It’s not that he’s afraid to tell you about them, but he much rather keep it a surprise and wait for you to be even ready to take them… or… honestly I’m not quite sure he’s unpredictable to say the least. “I dreamt of you hugging me at sea~” “Don’t you always do that Floyd? And to everyone?” You just don’t seem to interpret his dreams at all, do you? Or get the hint? He pouts, wondering if you dreamed of him before, and he asks you all the time.

“S/o, have you dreamed of me before?~” “E-eh? Well…” He feels quite smug if you do. Jade used to say that if you dreamed of someone, that someone you dreamed of will dream of you too. Floyd doesn’t believe in fate but he would now if it’s to just shower you with affection.

He keeps dreaming of you: in basketball practice, Crewel’s class, during lunch, right in front of you in Monstro Lounge. When is he ever going to make it reality. He becomes rather impatient, the thoughts of you pressing your lips against his makes him more determined to be even more shameless, and Floyd being Floyd starts to grow a bit more clingy until he finally feels like it.

He doesn’t follow his dreams, it’s just the thought of you being his lover is what he likes. He goes with the flow, and whatever happy memories you two would make will not be a dream but a memory.

“Koebi-chan, you know I dreamt of us being a couple~ Do you wanna be one right now?” “H-huh?! B-be serious!” “I am.” <3

- Jack will also sometimes be assigned to you because ruggie is glad you have a trustworthy and loyal friend, do take advantage of him♡

- you're not to ever be alone with anyone- not even Grim- he dosent like the way that cat acts so he may stay the night with ya or have someone do so- jts not tooooo hard-

- he would 100% control your diet- you must eat as healthy as possible, we wouldn't want anyone bullying you or anything- but if people started crushing on you, he'll be more lineant and let you eat more fatty foods

- you work in the kitchen at the Monstro lounge- of course you get good pay, and wont have to be seen by anyone with degrading eyes- and if they try- well they can be torn out by the tweels-

- once you got a closer look at him, you realized that "you're my older brother! Woah! I-" and just smiled and hugged him- all the Diasomnia boiyos were confused until you explained that thr royal rose family tought they lost their eldist son a long time ago- and he looked just like him-

- you quickly apologized for makeing assumptions tough- and they all accepted your apology-

- but something was clear, for being human you were surrounded by fairy magic- but unlike silver- you had light fae magic surrounding you-

- so while the VDC happend you two talked and got to know one another, you both just finding the other intriguing and wanting to be filled in on what you missed, feeling that your assumption was true after all-

- you admitted that you only have your uncles for family outside of silver but- something allways felt off about them until you developed your magic. Then you learned that your uncles were fae that took you in and blessed you with the voice of a song bird, a sweet soul, and everlasting protection from blot

- when silver asked about the last one you explained that when you were young aparantly you were very sick from blot you nearly overblotted and died- so now you rest as a rose grows on you to drain any bit of blot developed

- silver could empathize with falling asleep willy nilly- and just- wanted to protect you from any being who wanted to use you for their own gain... I mean- if someone made you use enough magic you could sleep for 100 years! And then he couldn't be with you any more... and you two would miss out on eachother more...

- after the VDC ended Silver managed to convince you to stay with him in Diasomnia, I mean- you were allready about to pass out, may aswell stay somewhere nearby-

- Silver takes very good care of you and makes sure you develop just enough blot while the two of you spend time together that you can't leave the doorm at all-

- he dosent neglect his duties to Malleus of course- you're often sleeping while he has to do other things around the school and the doorm-

- he treasures you like a younger sibling, because you are siblings, right?- you said so yourself!

Azul A. (butterfly kisses)

„That's a very unfair deal,” you mutter, wrapping yourself more around Azul's arm. You are stopping him from writing down your potential contract and he is remarkably eager to delay everything when you are trying to persuade him so hard, despite the pen in his hand. “All I ask is that you quiz me before the test. Does it require such a formal agreement?”

Azul's chair cracks softly as he straightens up. You don't loosen your grip, but you are sure that if Azul ever wanted to, he could manage to get out of your arms. Apparently, he doesn't want to—or he doesn't care or mind—and with this small gesture, he is making you hope.

“Everything has a price,” he says before you can come up with something like 'good deeds of a good boyfriend' to throw at him. “You already get a discount because of our relationship... And another fifteen per cent for those kisses, which are also a form of contract, [Name].”

...And maybe that is the reason why he doesn't want you to leave. The kisses are the only ones of their kind, something Azul would always want to get for helping you. When you press your lips to his neck or the corners of his mouth, that touch always makes him feel that it's still insufficient. It is only a foretaste and Azul feels as if a ghost has fallen in love with him, but worse because this one is lovely and warm and has already learned to tease Azul with its pranks.

“What if there was more?” Another kiss lands on his cheek, which has acquired a bit of colour over the past several minutes. Azul doesn't flinch, even when you deliberately delay moving away from him. “Can you manage to bring it down by a hundred per cent? I'm poor this month.”

Azul sighs, and the air escapes his lungs completely.

He is losing the façade of the carefree businessman, an act he started putting up since he knew what are you up to.

“Their value decreases with each use,” he says, shaking his head. He adds: “ There would have to be a thousand of them.”

“Better to start sooner than later, no?” You smile. “Come on... I'll pay my debt.”

Another three kisses come by. One—at his temple, near the grey eyes that glitter in the elegant lighting in Azul's study—and another—at the corner of his mouth, which trembles—and a third, almost on his lower lip. All these points suddenly seem to burn on Azul's skin and he has to restrain from touching them.

Your next kiss has been already blocked by Azul's gloved hand, as he presses his index finger to your lips. You look at him with surprise, and although his face turns even redder, he manages to utter his next sentence without his voice breaking down.

“Do you think it will be so easy to bribe me?”

You smile even wider.

“Yes,” you embrace his face with your hands. His skin is soft and kind of warm, but you are sure he is melting as much as you are just by that touch. “Because something like that would definitely work for me.”

Jade L. (stopping kisses)

“Hello!” Your smile makes you stand out very much from the crowd of other passing students, even more so than the hands you raise to wave to your boyfriend. You shine with your charm and Jade wonders why no one else notices that brightness. “And bye-bye!”

He smiles amiably, watching you disappear around the next corner. Another ringing of the bell fills the school corridors and Jade decides it's time to hurry to his classroom. On the way he passes Floyd, throwing him a quick smile. Then, he starts to wonder what the next lesson is going to be. Or whether it will be more important than Monstro Lounge duties. Or mushrooms.

Probably not. But he is going to pay attention anyway.

This is what all your mornings would be like until Jade decided to put some more effort into it. Dramatic effects, one could say.

“He-”

...?

Your greeting is muffled when Jade grabs you gently by the collar of your uniform and, in a fluid but powerful motion pulls you closer.

You bump into him, and he enhances the accident; he leans in, lifts your chin and kisses you.

You feel his hand going down your back and stopping at your waist, but the centre of your attention gravitates toward his other hand, which roams and teases your skin near your neck, leaving such a gentle touch. Under Jade's fingers, you shiver.

Then, his lips claim yours.

…

Red isn't Jade's favourite colour, but he likes some of its shades on you.

Red skin at the corner of your mouth, crimson blushes all over your face and scarlet lips decorated with glossy cosmetics.

Jade moves away. He smiles his everyday smile and it pains you so much that he is so quick to recover after something that knocked you completely out of balance.

“Could I have a change of greeting, please?” He asks, intertwining your fingers with his. He pulls a few loose strands of hair behind your ear, which he leaned into. “The sight of you is always lovely, of course, but I feel a little distant when we pass each other so quickly in the corridor...”

…

You are still in the corridor.

You are reminded of that when some random student whistles in your direction. Jade smiles mockingly at the student, who could have been a phantom, quickly disappearing into a crowd with an equally mischievous grin.

“Yes... Yes,” you answer. You put your hand to your chest and rest your head against Jade's chest. His heartbeat isn't as fast as yours, and you confirm it once more Jade puts his arms around you. “Wait, give me a minute. My heart's about to jump out...”

The cruel man laughs warmly.

“Hm. You'll have to get used to a different pace of living, don't you think?”

Floyd L. (stolen kisses)

“I'm hungry, Floyd,” you knock his hand off, and it once again began to wander over your shoulder. “Let me eat my breakfast, please.”

“Awh...!”

Floyd whines. His wordless lament is filled with clear disappointment and stubbornness. You don't believe that only eight attempts to push him away is going to change anything though—Floyd Leech hasn't even considered leaving you alone, still sitting next to you.

You wouldn't have used such a method if his company didn't equate to an inability to eat anything during the meal break; either your food was the one vanishing or it was you, disappearing from a canteen, while dragged behind your favourite, but a little overbearing sea boy.

You shift your attention to your plate again. You haven't managed to get any school-legendary sandwiches, but you had got your hands on some fruits and crackers, and Floyd (graciously) has shared with you some of the jam he had taken himself. You promised him you'd spend the whole afternoon with him in exchange for it, but apparently, it still isn't enough.

Or he just likes annoying you.

You grab the first cracker, and it isn't until you bite into it that you realize how hungry you are. You thought that skipping last night's dinner was a good idea, but the quiet (loud, in your ears) rumbling of your stomach for the first few hours of the class made you rethink your choices.

You reach for another handful of crackers, biting into them along with a cut piece of an apple.

Floyd watches you in surprising silence until you eat half of the food you have.

Your hand, along with the cracker you've been about to put in your mouth, meets a wall in the shape of Floyd's head. His face is right in front of yours, a wide smile on it, even though you had almost crushed the cracker on his cheek.

Whenever Floyd kisses you, you are aware of the unusual facial proportions, not ordinary between humans, but more common in sea creatures. His tongue is long and his teeth sharp. His lips are slippery, but that is more due to the sweet soda he drank earlier because you sense the vivid taste of oranges in his kiss.

Oranges...

Ah, now you remember. You are supposed to have breakfast.

You scold yourself for being distracted. Floyd may have an uncanny ability to monopolize your attention, but you still want to believe that in your relationship, both of you have equally similar power.

Floyd doesn't let you move away—the hands on your back and shoulder are there to prevent that—but you manage to turn your head just enough to catch your breath and try to push yourself away from him. Floyd is very fond of sabotaging you with his lung capacity, using every opportunity to take your breath away, but right now you are too focused on the clock, which shows that the break will be over in seven minutes.

“Not now!” You would have apologized to him for your dryness, has it not been for the fact that he started it, is now starving you, and is still smiling with amusement. You snort, clasping your hands over the fruit on your table. “I must have energy for our afternoon. And if these breaks don't convince you, give me a pass or food vouchers to Monstro Longue and I promise to comply.”

This is Jenny, but she goes by Jen. More information down below! <3

No one knows where Jenny has come from, but they all know she is able to wield magic without a pen. She also has all these strange markings on her body that she keeps hidden that occasionally glow when she is feeling certain strong emotions such as the ones of the Seven Deadly Sins.

Jenny is a caregiver, a empath who knows who is crying the next room over without even looking up from the book she is reading. She is able to diffuse fights before they even start either by fighting and winning herself or talking everyone out of it. She is someone you can rely on and trust if you're having a hard time with something either in school or emotionally. She will mom you, in short.

Fun Facts about Jenny! She actually had come from Devildom to here, and to avoid making connections with everyone, she gave out a fake name in hopes of being able to go home with no strings involved. Her name is actually Ophelia. Lia for short. She was learning how to wield magic by Solomon at first and the pacts she made with the brothers, angels, and the Butler and Prince of Devildom themselves only spur her magic on. She is more able to cast healing spells that fighting spells, so she summoned a familiar which was a brown rabbit! Yet, in the transport to Twisted Wonderland, their same magic merged them together to where Jenny now has a fluffy rabbit tail and large floppy ears!

Relationship Dynamics!

Leona: Absolutely a hater of this man. ONLY because she knows his worth could be so much more and he just doesn't put any effort into showing that he could be a good mage. It absolutely infuriates her. They constantly get into fights that either end up with both of them in the infirmary or both of them getting heated in a vocal argument.

Sebek: Love Interest #1. When Jen first came to NRC and met Sebek, she immediately did NOT like him. Both of them getting into silly little arguments that would go "So, Beastman-" "I'm actually a human. I just merged forms with my rabbit familiar." "DO NOT INTERUPT ME WHILE I AM TELLING YOU ABOUT LORD MALLEUS!!" "ok, bye." Yet after getting to know him better and better and actually taking time to see past everything, she saw him for who he truly is and just fell heads over heels with him. Yet, he doesn't need to know that.

Silver: Good friend, was a possible love interest and she had a small crush on him but after she fell in love with Sebek, they both just stayed close friends. Silver was one of the first few people to actually greet her into NRC. Sometimes Silver will find himself waking up with his head in Jen's lap as she reads away. They could make a cute couple but they respect each other a lot to not meddle with each other's love life.

Vil: Imagine; Malleus with Sebek. But now its Jenny and Vil. If anyone disrespects her housewarden, they will get thrown. Epel is impressed by this but Vil just taught her how to hurt people with words and how to make it sting. Jenny doesn't really hurt people without a good cause. But she heavily admires Vil due to the fact that he seriously reminds her of Asmodeus.

Azul: This is her boss. Was love interest #3 but after working for him constantly as either a waitress with the Tweels on the weekday and Singing for Monstro Lounge on the Weekend, that dwindled down fast. They both seriously respect each other and Azul has made the comment of making a deal about her voice once or twice in which she has denied more than plenty.

Ace and Deuce: These two are her best friends and Ride or Die's. Especially Deuce. She makes sure that they are all caught up and studied on homework before they can go ask Azul for tutoring papers all over again. Rewards them with baked goods that were helped made by Trey just to make sure that they keep their grades above a C-. C's get degrees!

Grim: She doesn't really interact with Grim all that much even though she is Housewarden of Ramshackle, but is an honorary member of Pomefiore. Its all because she is severely allergic to cats. But if you mess with her baby? You are so fried. Prepare to meet the actual full power of Wrath.

Crowley: Does not like him. She has thrown a chair at him. They do not interact unless absolutely necessary and she is finding her own way back home.

Finding out you got brutally rejected

feat. Azul, Ace, Cater

genre: hurt/comfort, platonic to slightly romantic(?)

note: reader is referred as Prefect/Yuu but can be interpreted as gn!reader, petty revenge is petty but also satisfying

Azul has seen how love can hurt after what his mother went through with his biological father.

He saw that familiar look of pain that only love can bring once more, when he saw your heart break in front of him.

You thought you had something special with an Octavinelle student that has been charming his way past your barriers. You thought you could trust that smile of his, only to realize he was just leading you on as a joke to his friends, to see how easy it was to hook you in like a mindless guppy.

Your crush brutally mocked you in the hallways, laughing at you after you let yourself be vulnerable with the wrong man. He and his friends left after having a fill of their cruel enjoyment, leaving you to break down silently as the other students ignored you either in pity or discomfort.

Azul was hiding his disgust fairly poorly. He has had his fair share of trickster moments and he himself is not above using weaknesses of others for his gain.

But this. Unacceptable.

Azul believed in the sanctity of love and commitment. To cherish and devote oneself to someone fully. He respected and admired your willingness to love as openly as you do.

And while he will deny it, you were someone he cherishes.

You found a letter from Azul requesting for your presence at Monstro Lounge. He expressed that he wanted to test new additions to the menu and chose you as his tester. You weren’t in the mood but the wary man rarely asks for help and despite your feelings, you couldn’t find the heart to ignore his request for help.

“Azul?” you called out to him as you entered the silent restaurant, free from patrons which was a slight relief to you. You didn’t want to handle crowds at the moment.

The bespectacled man came out from the kitchen to greet you near the entrance, wearing his charming smile.

“Ah, Prefect. I appreciate your assistance for today”

“Look Azul, I’m not feeling that great today” you admitted outright. “Maybe you could ask someone else to help with the menu?”

“Absolutely not! It must be you”

With a sigh, you followed the fair-haired upperclassman to a secluded booth where a dish hidden by a lid was already placed on the table. Like a gentleman, Azul guided you to your seat.

“I would like for you to take your time and taste this dish” Azul explained, a hand on the lid. “Nothing else should matter but your satisfaction”

Azul pulled the lid to reveal to your surprise, your favourite food with a complimentary drink. The eye-catching arrangement and comforting smell wafted through the air, the anxiety you held throughout the day were slightly lifted.

“Azul! How did you- What even is this about?” you fumbled out a question to which earned you a chuckle from your companion.

“I am a man who seeks to satisfy unfortunate souls”

“Right…” you looked around to see the place truly as empty as you initially thought. “You know, I’m surprised Jade or Floyd aren’t here”

“Oh, I’m sure they will be back” after dealing with a few unpleasant fellows who dare to dirty the Octavinelle name.

Azul was not a man who would simply act out of the kindness of his heart, a good deed should always be repaid. But the serene look on your face as you savor your comfort food as you chat with him is enough payment for now.

Ace already noticed the small changes in you that hinted him to your infatuation. The glances to another table at the cafeteria, the extra time to get ready in the morning which makes you later than usual, you telling him, Deuce, and Grim to go ahead as you wait by the entrance of another class.

Despite being one of the few (if only) freshmen with a dating history, he doesn’t really go for the lovey-dovey nonsense, casually and openly expressing his distaste over it.

“Yo Prefect, eyes over here”

“Your hair is fine already! Geez, Professor Crewel is gonna have our necks if we’re late”

He would complain over the changes, saying it’s messing up his routine with your insistence to refresh yourself and your googly-eyes.

Really though, one look at how happy you seem to be tells him that he shouldn’t hate it too much. He respects you enough to tolerate this cringey normal.

Until he finds you crying in your room.

“Yo Prefect, let me crash here” Ace hollered out as he let himself into the Ramshackle dorm. He expected an echo of affirmation from you but it was quiet in the rickety home.

Cautiously he made his way through the hallways and up the stairs, to your bedroom where he assumed you’d be. Did you already fall asleep? He saw the lights in your room were lit but still heard nothing from you. Only when he reached your door left ajar did he see you…

Crying

In the stupor, he knocked into the door which caught your attention. You turned to look at him, eyes red and swollen. You looked absolutely devastated.

“Ace?”

“Shoot! I didn’t mean to uhh” Ace fumbled his words as he assessed what to do in this awkward situation. His first thought was to leave, but seeing you suffering alone didn’t sit well with him.

Against his instincts, he slowly walked to you, cautiously taking a seat next to you on your bed, watching for any signs of discomfort.

You didn’t protest. Instead, you confessed to your best friend. “He said I was too selfish and clingy. That a relationship with me would be tiresome”

Ace felt his blood boiling, every nerve in his body was ticked. He had his complaints and jokes but he knew how loving and caring you were to the people around you, and this jerk called that annoying?

“What a joke!”

You flinched over Ace’s sudden outburst. You watched as Ace furiously mussed up his red locks, veins prominent on his neck and arms.

“This guy was fine and dandy getting all the attention coming his way but the moment you ask to be exclusive, he chickens out and calls it your problem?!”

Unbelievable. He just can’t believe the audacity of this immature moron. He was a scumbag, and he would know a thing or two about that.

“Look, I get wanting different things and having different priorities. But he doesn’t get to make it your fault for also wanting something then call it unreasonable!”

You were sometimes too sweet on others to get mad. So, until you learn to, Ace will always get mad for you, to be the bad guy for you.

Cater knows his way around the grapevine in NRC. News, gossip, and embarrassing mishaps does not escape his network. Though, sometimes he’s unable to get a face or name with that tidbit.

So, when he heard that an underclassman got mercilessly rejected by an upperclassman, he didn’t realize he already knew who the unfortunate one was.

He noticed that he hasn’t seen you in a while, not showing up for any unbirthday parties and rushing out of classrooms and lunch breaks as soon as you can.

It wasn’t until Ace and Deuce told him the truth before their heartbreak.

“It was brutal, outright yelling that the prefect wasn’t their type at all. Everyone heard it”

He’s willing to respect that people have their preferences but tactless men without class don’t get to have that respect.

It’s been a while that you got to hang out with Cater on his search for the biggest trends. The two of you spent the day trying out trendy cafes and cute boutiques.

“Cater, I get what you are trying to do and I appreciate it” you smiled at your red-haired friend. “But you don’t have to do this. I know I’m not the eye-catching type so I should have expected it”

This is why he doesn’t like people that don't know what their actions do to others. Tactless ones who’s words irritatingly ring through the core of those who don’t deserve it.

“Hmmm, these likes and comments say otherwise” Cater said, showing what he meant as he showed you a post he made recently with you. Sweet words and emojis littered the comment section praising you for your style and personality. Cater was a natural at bringing out your sides on camera as commenters lament their envy that Cater found a delight like you.

“Just because one person doesn’t see it, doesn’t mean everyone else is blind enough to not see what a star you are”

While you try not to let the anonymous comments convince you, you still found yourself smiling in appreciation over the kindness of others and especially Cater.

“Thank you, Cater”

The red-haired senior hummed in the small victory and swung his arm around you, pulling you to take in what else the town had to offer.

“Let’s keep going, shall we?”

Afterall, it takes a while for a rumour to spread and he wants to make sure that embarrassing secret he found about a certain fool gets to everyone before you two return.

Floyd was hanging around the Monstro Lounge, not wanting to do any of the work his house warden gave him. It was one of those days where Floyd didn't want to do anything at all. Well, anything to do with Monstro Lounge and work. His mind was elsewhere, thinking of hanging out with a friend.

He smiled softly at the thought of his friend, as he was sprawled on one of the seats. Floyd was kicking his legs, feeling excited as he thought more of his friend. Floyd was interrupted from his thoughts, which annoyed him some, but he begrudgingly went to see who wouldn’t let themselves in. When he opened the door, he looked around to see no one was around.

Floyd was more than annoyed at this point, ready to squeeze anyone who upset him next. But when he looked down, all annoyance washed away. Floyd picked up the glass vase of flowers, slowly spinning it, looking at every angle. As he stared endlessly at the flowers, Floyd brought the vase in and set it down on the bar.

He sat in front of it, putting his head on his elbows as they rested on the table. Jade walked by, seeing his brother staring into the flowers with a curious light shining. Jade smiled softly before speaking up.

“My Floyd, what beautiful flowers.”

Floyd looked up to his brother with an annoyed tone.

“So? I dunno who sent em, and it's annoying me.”

Jade giggled slightly, looking for a tag on the vase. He turned it slightly following the twine that was tied beautifully fitting the form. Attached to it was a brown tag with two names and a note. He turned it to face Floyd, urging him to read it. Floyd reluctantly turned his head, adjusting to see the writing. He read the first part out loud.

“To Floyd, from Y/n.”

Floyd's eyes lit up, just at the mention of the person. He smiled and lightly kicked his legs as his head perked up to read the rest of what was attached to the tag. Every word written made his heart beat a little faster. Floyd smiled, showing his enchanting sharp teeth.
