The two of you met how most people met the turtles, by being saved. And you aren’t the type to ever be in someone’s debt. So you implored Leo to swing by your place some time to give him a gift as a thank you.

Splinter was against the idea, and thoroughly told Leo that heroes don’t take gifts, that they are just happy knowing someone appreciated their help… so Leo went to your place with intentions to refuse any and all gifts, politely.

But as he found himself jumping on top of wealthy apartment complexes, rooftops that had pools and greenhouses and other exotic, expensive add-ons, they were foreign to the rooftops he was used to in his neighborhood. Leo had a feeling your gift would be hard to refuse.

You were awaiting his arrival, and Leo was punctual. “Hello there hero, Leonardo wasn’t it? I’m so glad you came!” You were waving for him to follow you to the rooftop door, “The surprise is inside!” You smiled, unable to hide your giddiness. “Ah, actually Y/n you can just call me Leo and I only came to tell you I appreciate the gesture but don’t need a gift.”

Leo was trying his best here, but you had taken his hand and pulled him through the door. Dragging him along as he tried to explain that Master Splinter (his father) was adamant on his sons being heroes that didn’t do good deeds for gifts. The two of you were now in an elevator, and you were nodding, making sure he knew you were listening.

“That’s very admirable Leo, truly, but wait ‘til you see what I have in store for you!” You squealed, your excitement still not dulled even as Leo groaned. Re-explaining with an exasperated expression. The elevator chimed and Leo almost had a heart attack when he saw another human down the hall.

“Oh don’t worry, that’s just Richard, my butler. He knows all about you and how you saved me, he’s truly grateful.” Richard himself bowing his head to Leo and then opening the door he was guarding. With a sweep of your hand you let Leo go in first, “After you!”

A circular table, set for two, filled with delicacies from around the world entered Leo’s vision and also his snout. Just the smell alone made his mouth water as he stood there shellshocked at the feast before him. “I thought this way, we could get to know each other better, I find food brings people together!”

You made your way to one of the chairs, Richard already there to pull it out and push you in exactly how you liked it. “Sit sit sit sit!” You insisted as you saw Leo hesitate. Richard went to help with his chair too but Leo waved him off. “Y/n..” he started, looking at all the food and feeling overwhelmed. He’d never finish it all, his thoughts went to his brothers. They’d enjoy this…

“Leo just try this!” You directed, pointing with your fork at something steamy and cheesy. Reluctantly, he listened, and one bite was all it took for him to start chowing down, forgetting his early reservations. “Wowww this is amazing! It’s like when me and my brothers first discovered pizza!”

The two of you went on talking about pizza and the foods on the table. And the more Leo ate, the more he opened up, talking about his favorite shows, Space Heroes of course, and his favorite characters. You were a great listener and enjoyed his company thoroughly. By the time his stomach was full, Richard had a big bag packed with more food for him to take home. “You kept mentioning your brothers so I thought to pack them a little goodie bag!” You explained as the table was cleared and the bag was placed beside him.

“Thank you!” Out of all the things the two of you talked about, this seemed to have the happiest smile appear on his face. Which in turn made you happy. “Oh Leo, you must return! Will you? I enjoy your company dearly!!” You weren’t one to plead, but you didn’t want this to be a one and done encounter.

“Well, sure! Wanna swap numbers?” He asked, who could refute those puppy dog eyes of yours? You were squealing happily once more, sliding your phone to him as he did the same to you. “Interesting design!” You noted, turning the phone over in your hands to see it resembled a turtle shell. “My brother Donnie made it, he’s a bit of a genius.” Leo said fondly.

“Cool! Maybe one day I can meet him, and the rest of your brothers!” You said in a hopeful voice. “Oh after I give them this,” Leo raised up the bag of food, “they’ll definitely want to meet you.”

Leo came back a couple of times by himself, one day was spent in the spa, another at the rooftop pool, you showed him around the entire building. “Hey so where are all the other tenants? Shouldn’t we be a bit more careful..?” Leo said waving a hand to go up and down his figure.

“Oh no, I own the entire building,” you said nonchalantly. Now Leo had known you were pretty wealthy, but he was now seeing the bigger picture here as he did a double take. From there the hangouts got even crazier.

“Y/n.. I don’t know, breaking and entering is a crime, I’m supposed to be a hero remember?” You sighed, this was the third time he had tried to chicken out! “Leo, how else are you gonna go to an amusement park??” Before he could get out that it wasn’t necessary to go to one to begin with, you were climbing the fence.

“Y/n!!” Leo said in a harsh whisper, watching as you fell over by accident to the other side. Your pride wounded as Leo snickered at you through the fence. “Your turn ninja warrior!” Eyes narrowing at him, we couldn’t all be athletic gods!

That night had been one to remember, and Leo only allowed a couple more break in hangouts before he finally got you to stop, by inviting you over to the lair.

You came bearing gifts of course, thankfully Master Splinter was in his room meditating, and didn’t witness all his sons beam at their gifts. This time Leo was giving you the grand tour. It wasn’t your swanky skyscraper building, but it was his home and you were overjoyed to be there.

Once in his room, you brought out the last gift. In a blue baggy, and you had the cheesiest grin on your face. “I know, I know.. no presents but this will be the last one for a while.” You crossed your fingers behind your back as he rolled his eyes and took the bag. “Honestly I don’t even know why I bother saying-“

Leo had been midway throwing the present paper out of view when he stopped talking as he saw the figurine. It was his favorite character, Captain Ryan from Space Heroes, it looked to be a part of the premium collection. His mouth dropped open as he gentle pulled out the collectible. “You didn’t,” he gasped to himself, he hadn’t realized you had really paid attention to what he was saying.

Usually his brothers droned out his Space Heroes talk. “Thank you!!” Leo said happily, unable to stop himself as he pulled you into a quick hug before looking around his room. “He’s gonna need his own shelf!” Leo said, totally nerding out. “Well yeah, especially when I get you all the other characters! For holidays” you amended when you saw his face turn stern.

What can you say? You couldn’t help but spoil your new best friend, he wasn’t just your savior. He hadn’t known who you were and yet he stuck out his neck, put himself in danger, just because he was a good person. A real friend unlike some you’ve had in the past. And that’s who you wanted to surround yourself with. So you couldn’t help but feel all warm and fuzzy when you finally got him to give you a genuine smile.

The light shining through your window was a soft pink, a notebook laid open on your desk, a jacket was thrown across the back of your couch, and there sprawled out on your bed was a very grumpy demon. You had been invited to Purgatory Hall to spend the day with the Angels, without hesitation you had accepted, now six hours later he was impatiently awaiting your return.

Mammon huffed and rolled over on his stomach, face buried in your pillow, he hated waiting on you to get back. What was so great about the Angels anyway? They weren’t nearly as fun to hang out with as him yet you always said yes when they invited you over. He was tired of them cutting into his time with you, so this time he was going to give you a piece of his mind about it when you got back, maybe you’d stop leaving him behind so much if he explained why he was the better choice to hang out with.

“You know this is my room right?” You had walked in while Mammon was busy pouting, he jumped at your voice and sat up instantly, he ignored your question and started asking his own.

“Where ya been? How long did ya plan on making me wait huh? Ya know yer the only the only human that makes The Great Mammon wait? You should be honored that I did!” His brows furrowed, he was doing his best to look tough, you saw through his little act and could tell he was overjoyed you had returned, so you decided to mess with him.

“Do I sense jealousy? From THE Mammon??”

“WHA—ME? JEALOUS? What do ya think I’d be jealous of huh?” He tried to look stern but his bright red cheeks gave him away.

“I dunno, maybe the fact that I spent the day with a couple of Angels and not you?” His blush deepened and he quickly turned away from you. “You know you’re the Avatar of Greed right? Not Envy? Or did you and Levi swap while I was gone, I mean it was a whole six hours, who knows what changed in that massive amount of time!” You teased.

“It was a long time!” Mammon protested. “I had to sit here bored outta my mind while you were off bakin’ cookies with ‘em Angels again!” He was full on pouting at this point, his plan to scold you was foiled now that you had seen through his act so quickly.

“Well Mr. Know it All, that’s where you’re wrong! We didn’t bake anything! Instead, I was teaching them how to make friendship bracelets!” You stuck your tongue out playfully, it had been a while since you had seen him sulk this hard over sharing your time, but you knew he couldn’t stay mad at you for long.

“Ya made what?”

“Friendship bracelets! It’s a thing in the human world where two friends, usually younger kids, will make a cute bracelet for the other to wear showing the bond of their friendship! Luke wanted me to teach him how to make one so I did!” You beamed, proud of your achievement.

Oh great, cool, that’s fun. I didn’t realize you and Luke were such good friends, I mean I was your first friend but it’s okay, guess he’s your new best friend now.” Mammon was still seated on your bed, arms crossed and face red from embarrassment, you couldn’t help but tease him.

“Actually, I did make a bracelet for you. I was going to give it to you but since we aren’t best friends anymore, I guess I’ll just have to throw it away, after I spent soooo long making it.” You clutched your chest dramatically. The second born rolled his eyes and tried not to look too excited, he put his hand out waiting for you to show him the gift. From your jacket pocket you pulled out a small bracelet, golden strings braided together with a little M in the middle of it, you placed it in his palm and watched him turn it over a few times.

“Ya know…I’m not really into this kind of cheesy human world stuff…” He slipped the bracelet onto his wrist, still entranced by the way it glittered in the light.

“I understand, I can take—“

“No! Get away!” Mammon pulled his wrist close to his chest and turned his body away, preventing you from touching the bracelet. “It’s mine! I ain’t takin’ it off! Ya made it for me, ya can’t just take it back!”

You started to laugh, all jealousy was now gone and in its place was genuine pride and excitement, he was so easy to win over. Maybe now he wouldn’t get so upset when you spent time with the others.

“Fine keep it, but if you never take it off,” you wrapped your arms around the greedy demon, hugging him tightly and pressing your cheek against his, you could feel the heat from his face. “Then I guess that means we’re friends forever! Do you forgive me for abandoning you?” You gave him your best puppy dog eyes.

“Yeah yeah, I forgive ya…long as you remember who yer BEST friend is when ya hang out with ‘em again.” Mammon settled into your hug, still messing with his new accessory.

“Of course, how could I forget?”

OMGGG their official first date was techinically an unofficial one because that trope makes me 😭😭 but I imagine their unofficial date was a tour of the kingdom/the Muda Kingdom! Basically showing him the sights and the critters (many cheep cheeps ganged up on poor weegee..) and all the kingdom has to offer!! I’m sure it ended off with a sit on the beach during sunset and Luigi trying to hide his red cheeks seeing erm a certain someone in the lighting.. (certainly not me Erm..)

VERY AWKWARD. If you can imagine an awkward kiss that’s literally what it is. Who said “I love you” first Roman. Look, passion bubbles in his chest and his nerd is falling in love with him. He has to profess his love to him!

Who would have the other’s picture as their phone background They are both saps and have the picture of the other as background. Or maybe even matching ones with Logan reasoning that it is "only logical" and Roman totally supporting his boyfriend's logical thinking.

Who leaves notes written in fog on the bathroom mirror Roman. Logan thinks it's cute but sometimes gets annoyed at the smudges. but when Ro has a rough time, Logan might just draw a little heart on the mirror and it always manages to cheer Roman up.

Who buys the other cheesy gifts Logan. He's bad at love languages but also has the instincts of a magpie and knows "cheesy glitter things make Roman go brrr". Man has never bought roses but there are about twenty cat heart figurines in Roman's shelf designated for sappy gifts from his boyfriend.

Who initiated the first kiss Mutual effort. Just a look and both started to lean in. It was one of the few moments they just agreed on what to do next. Really they still often kiss like that.

Who kisses the other awake in the morning Roman kisses Logan awake. Both of them don't sleep a lot but Logan has the tendency to stay a little longer in bed when he has nothing scheduled. So when that occurs, Roman might get up first, make some coffee, prepare some breakfast, and goes back to bed to kiss his beloved awake. Logan does enjoy the pampering.

Who starts tickle fights Roman. Though Logan always wins and he still believes that one day he will end up the winner. He won't😌

Who asks who if they can join the other in the shower Roman. When he has a high need for affection he will ask for them to shower together. Usually, Logan complies since he understands that Roman needs some extra care. Also, sometimes it's nice to have cuddly (or a little horny) prince in the shower with you.

Who surprises the other in the middle of the day at work with lunch Roman started it but they regularly show up at the other's workspace just as a surprise. At Logan's workplace though nobody knows that Roman is Logan's boyfriend because Roman keeps it down a lot whereas everyone at Roman's workplace is very aware of their relationship because the first thing Logan did when he visits Roman is kiss him straight on the lips.

Who was nervous and shy on the first date Neither. Their first official date was on a dare and they bickered and tried to outdo the other the whole time only to realise at the end that they had a great time together. They were both a little timid on the second date though.

Who kills/takes out the spiders Roman. Let him be the brave hero he wants to be. Logan is very deadpan about being saved from the foul beasts but he lets him do it.

Who loudly proclaims their love when they’re drunk Logan. Roman is just whiny and clingy when drunk but Logan goes out of his way to loudly present Roman to everybody around them and says how beautiful and attractive he is, and how he is the best kisser, and that he loves him so very much.

Aah. I love them so much. Such good boys.

“Fuck, Virgil, I can’t believe I say this, but stop cackling like a madman! I think we have a fucking problem right now,” Remus shouted slowly lowering his phone away from the lightly drugged deceitful facet in front of him.

Janus was still weakly gnawing at the huge not ostrich egg somebody, (thank you Roman) had left in the living room, and while he looked objectively adorable with his dilated eyes and drooling all over the shell but knowing now what the egg really was and considering how long Janus had already been like this, they may have had reasons to worry. Virgil apparently didn’t agree and was still cackling as Remus stopped filming and walked over to Janus and the egg. He stemmed his hands in his hips and sighed as Janus rubbed his face against the shell like a cat would do to claim its possession over the object of their choosing.

“Do the effects of the ‘snakenip’ always hold on that long?” Logan asked from the side.

By now the teacher wasn’t looking nearly as smug as in the beginning and Remus shot him a pissed grin.

“Oh having second thoughts on your revenge now?” he said lowly. “Drugging someone because they ate the rest of your crofters is such a funny thought, really! You’re the pinnacle of humour!”

Logan sputtered and walked up next to Remus: “Virgil reassured me that it would last barely 5 minutes! I even halved the doses he recommended!”

A sudden realisation hit Remus and at once Virgil was very still. In slow motion, Remus turned around to face the anxious side who suddenly became really small. Remus growled at him, ready to jump as Virgil promptly sunk out. With a scream Remus was about to run after him to his room, only stopped by Roman holding him in place and telling him that violence wouldn’t help the issue at hand. They would have to fix this first before he could deal with Virgil.

“You’re the one talking!” Remus snapped at Roman but turned back to Janus and his egg. “Why the fuck would you take the egg of a fucking DRAGON?! Are you out of your mind?!”

“The knights of the kingdom hat already slain the mother when I got there! And I couldn’t leave the egg! The poor thing would die on its one, and if not it would probably plot revenge against my kingdom for killing its mom, so bringing it here and hatching it, seemed like a reasonable choice at the time!” Roman explained himself weakly.

Remus just shot him a stink eye. He would have to kill some stupid knights. Or torture them, if he wanted to be really mean.

A grumpy snarl captured Remus’s attention back on Janus and he looked at his high gremlin and the egg. He had stopped trying to chew on it and was now full-on hugging the darn thing.

“That looks kinda cute,” Patton commented.

Remus didn’t think so though. Cursing under his breath he finally approached Janus and tried to pry him away from the egg. Unsurprisingly to Remus, Janus didn’t budge an inch. The imp was using his snake strength to hold onto the damned egg.

“Nerd get here and help me separate them before he imprints on that fucking egg!” Remus snarled through his teeth.

Logan didn’t move and Remus shot him an angry glare to which he answered: “Why me? I’m not known for my strength and what do you mean with imprinting?”

“You, because you are responsible for him being like this and because the other two idiots are going to prepare a nest for anthe egg-” he shot Patton and Roman a unquestionable glare to which both responded by rapidly scrambling away - “and ‘imprinting’ means exactly what it means! He’s gonna get attached to the freaking thing and we’re gonna have to deal with a baby dragon following him around 24/7 if we’re not doing something. Right. Now.”

That was all it took for Logan to get into motion and he ran to Remus’s side to help him pull Janus away from the egg. Logan slung his hands around Janus’s middle as Remus tried to pry away Janus’s arms from the egg.

“How on earth is he this strong? He’s half my size,” Logan groaned.

Huffing in agreement Remus managed to pry the gloved hands away which caused Janus to whine in dismay.

“Oh please,” Logan grumbled and yanked Janus away, “you’ll be grateful for this once your mind is back here with us.”

For a second Janus’s grip loosened as he heard Logan’s voice so close by his ear and the two mad scientists managed to pry him away from his snack/baby. Remus pulled Logan further away from the egg and motioned him to settle on the couch with Janus on his lap.

“Don’t let go of him yet. He might try to get back to it before we can get it to its nest,” Remus explained.

Before Logan could agree to it Janus whined on his lap: “you TAKE EGG from janus? you take his precious like the lollipop from the baby? oh! oh! jail for sides! jail for sides for One Thousand Years!!!!”

“Oh lord.”

“Shit. Now he’s getting into his cranky state,” Remus said bemused and watched him wiggle in Logan’s lap.

“What am I supposed to do now?” Logan asked panicking.

“I don’t know! I’m here for the chaos and you for the brains! Think of something!”

Idea for an angsty Roman AU

Roman wants to disappear but doesn't want to influence Thomas badly. So he takes the most important functions out of him one night and distributes them to the other sides one night before he disappears into the Imagination. Janus, Logan and Virgil receive them, with a note on their door (he doesn't want to overwhelm Patton even more and Remus already has enough as the sole Creativity from now on).

Janus gets the "Ego" and his note says: You always wanted Thomas to thrive. I wasn't brave enough to stand up for him while you were. I trust you to get him farther than I ever could.

Logan gets the "Hopes" and his note says: Maybe you are a robot but you always had a figuratively big heart. I know that with your mind Thomas will be able to find a way to make his hopes come true.

Virgil gets the "Wants" and his note says: You already have proven to be braver and more determined than I back then with Nico, even though you didn't want it as badly as I did. With them, you will make Thomas unstoppable.

That's the concept and then I have also this idea for what might happen later:

The others have found Roman in the Imagination. He's no longer Roman though; he's the Hero, the Prince, the Knight who is saving the people in a small valley at the border of the Imagination. They try to talk with him, convince him to come back. Janus explains that he is not meant to hold the ego and protect it. Virgil says his focus is getting even worse with the additional desires, Roman has handed over to him. The Hero deflects, even tells them how to deal with it better, how Roman dealt with it and both have to admit that his solutions weren't that bad. Still, they tried to insist for Roman to come back. The Hero ignores it.

Logan takes his turn to talk with him. Speaks of all these hopes Thomas has, all the plans and ideas and the Hero smiles fondly as Logan tells him as much.

L: Now you must see that you need to take them back, correct?

H: I do not, no. I'm no longer the Roman you are talking off, and you of all of them must know.

L: Nonsense. Roman is the Hero and Prince you are. He and you are one side.

H: Roman was more than I am. And you know it. You know that what I am now is flat and simple. I am the things, which made Roman fallible. I am the Hero who saved the people he threw into danger. I am the Prince with no kingdom to inherit. I am the knight with the will to fight and no monster to slay.

L: No-

H: Yes. (He says kindly but with no space to disagree) And Thomas doesn't need a Hero, a Prince, or a Knight. He needs his Ego in the hands of the guardian of beginnings and ends, always able to find a way to hide and protect it if needed. He needs his Wants represented by the fiercest fighter, always willing to push further and knowing his own limits all the same. He needs his Hopes collected by-

L: -a realist? A teacher? I don't see how I am the best fit for this.

The Hero smiles.

H: He needs his Hopes collected by a scientist with the wondrous mind of a child. You spoke and tried to persuade me with the words of an excited elementary schooler. Roman had hoped (ha) that his facet would bring that wonder back to you. He had missed it in you.

Logan is taken aback. He didn't expect this.

L: What are you insinuating?

H: When you were children, you would help him with his ideas. When you were studying you would help form his ideals and hopes over the years, through the topics you read and learnt about. Roman's domain isn't simple and clear cut. The contents of what he controls are highly influenced by all of you. Thomas's beliefs will shape his Wants, as well as his self-preservation, does. The Ego is a reflection of what we think other people see in us. It's an interpretation. His Hopes are connected deeply with his fears and his knowledge of what is possible and what is not. These important parts of Roman, you all made.

Logan shakes his head. The Hero steps up to him and squeezes his shoulder.

H: The Hero is the one thing that is uniquely Roman. It's what wasn't influenced by any of you but by Thomas. The Hero, the Prince, and the Knight. That's unique about Roman.

Logan's breath hitches.

H: And that's not something Thomas needs anymore.

He isn't that sure as to why you are so emotionless all the time, he always tried to get a reaction out of you, be it with spiteful comments, sweet cheesy sentiments, lovely gifts, anything

Soon, he just learns to accept it, the fact you are just not as expressive as others. That was how your relationship deepened as you start being a little comfort with being vulnerable and open to Ace about your emotions.

Ace didn't tease you during your vulnerable state of emotions, it was also this time Ace lowers his douche act and act like the lovesick boy he is. He is actually so in love it makes him laugh and be mushy (but don't tell anyone, got that? This is his secret, a secret reserved for you)

He won't tell you this, but he did get into a ton of fights when people tried to insult you, when they jest you're a robot, where they feel like Ace just pities you. Ace beats 'em up, hard!

Overall, Ace doesn't mind your emotionless facade, he knows that you don't trust showing your emotions, and he shall respect that-- as long as he gets his share of love and affirmation

He was scared of you at first, and tried to avoid you, because he wants to stay out of trouble for at least a year.

We all know he doesn't avoid you and ended up dating you. He sure didn't know how to deal with the emotionless front at first, but he grew to understand you and enrich your relationship more.

Deuce tries to always get you to at least smile, his mom said smiles are always nice, but if you don't-- he understands. He just wants to feel less awkward, since he is a very vocal person with emotions, so he wants to at least share experiences.

When you do show a little emotion, he is beyond the moon happy, so he falls deeper in love with you. Don't worry, one smile is worth his lifetime, and he swears by it. Deuce was never the demanding type

Understanding of your act, and will not force you to show emotions. He wants you to be comfortable around him :)

Jack gets it, he knows emotions are something you can use as a leverage. So he always gets the sentiment of your annoyed sighs

When you both started to date, he always tried to find a way to understand your emotional needs. He's good at reading you, thus, it made your lack of emotions not a problem.

When you do show a hint of emotions, he always perks up and pats your head. Jack is such a gentle soul, so he gets excited over the smallest moments.

Overall, Jack doesn't much have care of your lacks, he understands and gives you an alternative to express your emotions

epel felmier

He acted like Ace, he tries to provoke or at least bug you for a reaction. That was how your friendship/rivalry began.

The moment you entered the relationship dating phase was where he lessened his insistence of you showing your emotions.

Epel tried to understand your lack of emotions, and may have tried to give a crash course of your emotions, but he later just shrugged it off.

Epel soon learned how you are, and just rolled with it. He did hop back to ask for a reaction before leaving it, just demanding some kisses and all for compensation.

Overall, he is fine with it, he has a hard time understanding completely-- since he is also vocal with his emotions-- but he loves you either way.

sebek zigvolt

He screamed at you and was confused why you just stared, like it was weird on his part. So he grew to he intrigued by you.

When you both started getting to know each other, he felt like he still won't understand the whole "not showing" emotions-- until he realized that it's your way of living.

Dating you, without much feedback, was scary for him at first. After all, since he is not used to be reading cues, he always asks for reassurance for the lack of your emotional response.

He learned to cope with it, when he found out love languages of all kinds exist. Sebek studies it and try to find out what you do.

Sebek doesn't mind, he was scared at first, but now he gets it. Just, give him do reassurance and love, he'll be fine.
