I love traveling with people who don't push me past my limits. It is such a different experience. I feel comfy saying I shouldn't do something because it will make my pain worse. I know I'm not putting them out by taking breaks. I don't have to be as medicated to deal with pain because I am going at the pace I need to. It is wonderful.

my discords are so quiet lately. Is it a quiet time of year? Why are all my social inputs not available at once.

The cold is here, if not the snow, and it's blustery, chilly, stinging -18C and so desolate and quiet. It's pretty. Finally feels like winter.

Got to - briefly - see my best friend from old job and some former students, Felix was in a running mood so it was hard. It was nice though. No talking really, just existing in the same space.

Took him to the aquarium, with petting, and you can feed the fish (Koi and other domestic fish, like salmon) . He was into that. They also had pigs, which he loves to talk to.

Happy Birthday to Felix tomorrow! He really isn't into birthdays (doesn't like being the center of attention). but I got him some stuff he might like. Forgot to buy wrapping so...maybe I'll drag him to the store. I suppose I should buy some random wrapping paper and stash it for when I need it.

He's such a mysterious being for likes and dislikes, we'll see.

The donut store has candles, so that'll have to do. Five years of Felix! Wow.
