im not gonna lie, i’m disappointed in the new chapter. it was cute, don’t get me wrong. i love seeing anya and her cute, funny antics. i also enjoyed seeing the progress in damian’s character (like him apologizing) and how his friendship with anya is growing (though i did want to put him on timeout for calling yor a gorilla. not okay. never disrespect yor like that again 😒) BUT i was expecting so much more.

first of all, i’m glad to see loid caring and worrying about anya and her well-being (to the point that he bought a car so she didn’t have to get on a bus again) but the whole “it’s for the mission” shtick is getting old. “my daughter is very traumatized and i need to help her overcome that… for my mission of course!” like sir??? do you hear yourself??? it’s okay to admit you care about her. she’s a toddler who has gone through more than a lot of adults will ever go through in their lifetime. it’s okay, at the very least, to admit you feel compassion for her. i know he’s a very emotionally stunted man who has a lot to work through before he can freely admit he deserves to love and be loved. but i feel like his character development has been on halt for a while now and it’s getting frustrating.

also, while i love the kids and i love their little moments, i wish this episode wouldn’t have focused so much on them. anya just went through such a traumatic and terrifying experience. i wish this chapter would’ve focused more on the forgers and on the parents navigating how to make her feel better after the events of the red circus arc or something. even if the entire chapter was just them going on a family ooting to cheer her up, i would’ve been fine with that. but, instead, we had to wait a month just to see the kids at eden… again.

like i said before, i enjoyed the chapter. but i think i would’ve enjoyed it more if we’d had gotten some forger family moments before the events of this chapter. i just want the focus to be back on the family. that’s all. and i wish loid would’ve shown a little more affection. especially considering the fact that his child could’ve died.

Rant incoming

I feel like the problem with a lot of Disney's live action remakes (and arguably Wish) is they're trying to appeal to a crowd that no longer exists, namely the people who used to claim that the Disney Princesses were sexist.

All the interviews tend to include, "Well she's not chasing a MAN anymore" which...almost no one sees the princesses like that, anymore. Virtually NO ONE still believes the princesses are man-chasing sexist caricatures of women.

Cinderella is now hailed as an abuse victim who stayed strong long enough to get help to get out of her situation. Anyone who says she should have saved herself is basically regarded as a victim blamer. And it's very clear in the film she wasn't looking to marry the prince, she just wanted a night off. She was the only one who wasn't in line to meet him. She didn't find out she met the prince until he went looking for her!

Snow White is now hailed for her negotiation skills, ability to calm down after extreme stress (she had a moment of panic and had to cry for a bit, but who wouldn't after finding out The Queen hired someone to kill you?), and ability to take charge of a house of adult men. And again, she was an abuse victim, this time trying to escape ASSASSINATION ATTEMPTS. While she dreamed of her prince, it was secondary to her main goal of SURVIVAL. There are also entire video essays about how Snow White gave hope to people during The Great Depression.

Everyone acknowledges that Ariel wanted to be human BEFORE meeting Eric. We all know she was a nerd hyperfixating on humans, and also standing up to her prejudiced father.

We understand Sleeping Beauty wasn't the main character, the Three Good Fairies were, AND PHILLIP WOULD NEVER HAVE BEATEN MALEFICENT WITHOUT THEM! He literally depended on them! WOMEN SAVED THE DAY! But even then, is it really such a sin for a girl to fantasize about romance and fall for someone with corny pickup lines?

We all understand Jasmine just wanted someone to treat her LIKE A PERSON. She rejected every Prince before Aladdin because they treated her like a prize. So why did they need her to want to be Sultan? How did that make her more feminist when she already wanted to be treated like an equal and have a say in her future? Is it only empowering if you want a career in politics?

We admire that Belle, despite living in a judgemental village, was kind to everyone (even though she found the village life dull), and her story teaches girls that the guy everyone else loves isn't always a good guy. What's sexist about teaching girls about red flags? And she didn't start being nice to The Beast until he started treating her with respect and kindness.

Do I really NEED to defend Mulan or Tiana? I think they speak for themselves.

Rapunzel was yet another abuse victim who just needed a little help to get out of her bad situation. In this case, she also needed to learn that she was an abuse victim, and that what Mother Gothel did WASN'T normal, much like many victims of gaslighting.

And don't get me started on the non-princess animals.

Perdita had a healthy relationship with Pongo to the point she was open to express her pregnancy fears to him, and was ready to TEAR APART Cruella's goons for daring to touch her puppies as well as adopting the other puppies. Like, she was so ferocious the goons mistook her for a hyena! She's basically that "I AM THAT GIRL'S MOTHER!" scene from SpyXFamily if Yor were a dog. She and her husband were a TEAM.....but they made a Cruella live action to turn her into a girlboss?! The literal animal abuser!? THAT'S the woman you wanted to put on a pedestal when Perdita was RIGHT THERE!?

Duchess kept her kittens calm after they had been catnapped and was classy as heck. Nice to everyone regardless of social class during a time period where that was uncommon.

Lady stood up to Tramp when she believed he had abandoned her and didn't really care about her. She found out he was a heartbreaker and was like, "Nuh uh. No. You are not doing that to me! You put me through enough."

Miss Bianca from The Rescuers was IN CHARGE the whole movie, and was willing to risk life and limb to save an innocent child. THAT TINY MOUSE TOOK ON ALLIGATORS! And she picked Bernard to accompany her because he was the only one who wasn't ogling her. And then in the sequel SHE DID IT ALL AGAIN! I wish I were as brave as her.

Like, the public haven't accused these ladies of being sexist caricatures since 2014 (Actresses and actors don't count, they're out of touch like the rest of Hollywood) yet Disney is operating under the assumption that the public still thinks that way, hence all the "sHe'S nOt AfTeR a MaN iN ThIs VeRsIOn" talk.

The live action remakes are trying to attract an audience that doesn't really exist much, anymore, and back when it did exist, was comprised mainly of people who didn't actually watch the films. The Disney princesses are no longer seen as sexist, and feminine qualities are no longer seen as weak or undesirable.

I had a very cursed thought and I'm choosing violence and making it Tumblr's problem:

Bruce had his thing with Talia. It led to the Stabby Child that is Damian.

Except, Damian has 2 dads.

Bruce, biologically his Father, and Daniel James Phantom, brought to their world by the Lazarus Pit, who "convinced Ras to retire" (aka turned his mind to mush through Eldritch Madness of Revelation). Talia took over, and, thinking herself The Chosen One, allowed the guy to court her.

In fact she isn't some Chosen One. She's a badass woman who could kill Danny easily, and he's very into that. And it's not helping that she's very attractive, and her kid is very feral and like to fight, like baby ghosts also like to do.

Eventually the Bats get wind that there's been a Change in Management in the League, and they come to investigate. Bruce expects the worst, Tim is just praying Ras is dead and he can get his spleen back, Jason is mildly disturbed that it might mean Talia is leading the Assassins, and Dick is keeping Gotham safe while the others are out.

They expect a cruel dictatorship, or a mound of corpses piles in a corner.

They did NOT expect to see a tiny Damian fight a guy dressed in League armor, a Cape and a crown of black iron, who could've been Wayne Adoption Bait if he was younger, while the guy laughs and corrects his form. Every blow the child is allowed to land simply passes through him.

Talia got herself a very comfy throne (Danny gifted it to her, saying some cheesy line like "no other would be fit for a Queen like you") made of Starlight and Ice, from which she can watch her on and her Beloved bond and train, while her new and improved League watch on as their Prince takes joy in his training and the pride his parents have in him. Soon he shall move to Gotham to meet his other dad, and learn from him as well, so he may know his family and make his destiny as he wishes.

TLDR: Danny is a simp for strong deadly lady and a good dad to her kid. She's indulging in his attention and caring. The bats are confused. Jason can feel the Ghost Adoption that will be coming his way when Danny "Ghost King" Phantom learns of his existence. The League of Assassins, even while they kill people to maintain Wolrd Order, treat Talia, Danny and Damian like the spies in SpyxFamily act towards Loid and Anya :)

Bruce: *opens his mouth*

Talia: You can't adopt my love

Bruce: *closes mouth*

I go a little feral for Jason viewing Talia as his mom so I am 100% behind Danny adopting Jason. Maybe Tim follows him after learning what Danny did to Ras and let's him have his spleen back, tho only on the condition that his own doctors put it back in. Who knows what Ras has done to it and with ecto involved its better to be safe than sorry. Tim is amazed that they can put the spleen back in at all due to how long its been outside his body.

Is this going to turn Poly with Bruce/Talia/Danny? Cause I'd read that!

I really like the concept of SPYxFAMILY's finding love in a found family. Not blood related but bound together. Gotta catch up on episodes uuuu...

But yeah little evil-in-the-make kiddy Ron got a hard grip on my heart.

Synopsis CRIMExFAMILY KP-AU?

Drew Theodore P. Lipsky, but to the world known as Dr. Drakken, is on a mission to take over the world by pulling the heist of the century; stealing the [classified] from G.J.

Through criminal intel, he finds out that there's an academy in which a lot of G.J.'s agents children go to either in order to get ahead in society or train to become future G.J. agents.

So what do you do? Adopting a kid ofc.

Ron Stoppable, a kid with mystical monkey powers that he obtained by accident, ends up in the care of the mad scientist. Lucky them!

Ron gets enrolled into the academy who in turn ends up in the class of Miss Go. Who unbeknownst to everyone is in reality the world's greatest assassin/burglar. She too had the idea of getting closer to G.J. by directly being in contact with their children cause hey, kids tell LOTS of stuff.

Drew gets a job as school nurse/doctor(???) and works closely with Miss Go. Eventually both of them know that the other knows a bunch about G.J. and coincidentally the same [classified] both are after.

Neither of them know their true identity and both of them use make up to hide themselves in public.

Ron accidentally ruins all preparation for the capers with his monkey powers. Eventually all three of them find out what's going on and work together. Ron doesn't want to lose his new found parents once the goal is obtained and so he often tries to get them to hook up and fall for each other. In the mean time, there's girl in Ron's class, he tries to impress her but... he's evil and she's training hard to become a future G.J. agent!

That's basically what I got in my head.

SPYxFAMILY CODE: White movie review (spoilers ahead)

I finally have some time to gather my thoughts so here’s my belated review of the movie!

I had a really good time! I did my best to avoid spoilers and my efforts paid off. A lot of scenes would lose some emotional impact if I had knew about it beforehand. I think one important thing to keep in mind is how the movie is essentially a filler movie (an original story that is not from the manga) so the status quo of the main plot in the manga can’t be changed too much. The movie aimed to appeal to fans of the manga, anime-only and for new fans so some of the plot points might feel repetitive. I personally didn’t mind it since the movie had its own interpretations of events.

Major spoilers under read more!

I did think the plot was the weakest aspect of the movie. The incident that kickstarted the plot was how the higher ups at WISE wanted to replace Twilight’s role in Operation Strix. However, no explanation was given on how the replacement would actually work. I know this isn’t important in the grand scheme of the story but it did bother me a lot lol. I didn’t mind the Eden cooking competition though because it gave us the excuse for the Forgers go on a family trip. The villains were also pretty weak (writing-wise). They were quirky and served their purpose as obstacles for the Forgers but they weren’t compelling as the characters in the manga in my opinion.

The movie biggest’s strength is the focus on the Forgers (individually and together as a family). Each member of the Forgers got the chance to shine in their own way. Personal highlight for me was Yor. She’s my favourite character and the movie emphasized her importance in the Forger family. She is irreplaceable to both Loid and Anya and it made me really emotional to see how far she has come. Of course, she still has insecurities of being replaced but this is just a small part of her character.

While Yor’s fight scenes with Type-F was really hype-worthy, my favourite scene with Yor is a simple conversation between her and Loid. It was when she told Loid that they should all go with him to find the last ingredient together and explained to him that Anya was probably feeling lonely and wanted to be with him and the family since they came on this trip together. I can’t remember what she said exactly because the subtitles were quick but it was a really emotional scene and the fact that Loid listened to her meant a lot to me.

I also liked how the movie handled Loid’s character. The writing did a good job of balancing Twilight the spy and Loid the father. Twilight’s priority was to show progress for Operation Strix because he didn’t trust another agent to handle the mission. We saw his dedication to find the ingredients for Anya’s cooking competition but in doing so, he neglected his family during the trip. I really liked seeing this kind of conflict. Anya called him out on it and Yor had to convince him that Anya was being lonely too. It was a very interesting character journey for him. I loved that he didn’t hesitate to rescue Anya too.

My favourite Loid scene was his reunion with Anya! Loid figured out that the reason Anya ran away was because she went searching for the last ingredient (the syrup/wine thingy) but we never found out what he was actually thinking despite Anya reading his mind. We only see his fond smile and Anya having a happy expression. I really liked this kind of open-ended scene because it feels really personal and intimate for the characters.

The other instance where this happened was after Twiyor’s Ferris wheel scene. Anya read both of her parents’ minds after they cleared up the misunderstanding but we didn’t get to know what they were thinking. Just that Anya was happy about it. Again, I liked that their thoughts are kept private and open to interpretation.

Another favourite scene was the one where Loid, Anya and Yor were reunited after Anya was rescued! It was very touching and emotional! I also loved when Yor and Anya came to help Loid with the steering wheel to steer the airship away from the city. The aftermath of this scene (Yor asking Loid how he knew to pilot the ship) reinforces my theory that both Loid and Yor know that the other is hiding something/is more than what they say they are but they decided not to think too much about it.

Another little scene I want to mention is Yor and Anya playing together when they got to their hotel room. The way Anya’s expression lit up when Yor played along with her was too adorable for words!!!

I guess I should also mention the poop god scene lol. This sequence gave me secondhand embarrassment but it got so much laughter from the audience though. It felt like it went on forever too.

Since the main focus of the movie is the Forgers, the supporting characters do show up but they didn’t have any major scenes. The production value of the movie was fantastic. The aerial scenes and Yor’s fight scene with Type-F were the highlights for me! It was also wonderful to see the Forgers on the big screen!

Overall, I do recommend this movie to both old and new fans of SxF! I can guarantee that you will fall in love with the Forger family even more!

a lengthy breakdown of why ch. 878 is one of the best luffy moments in the entire series (to me)

question: favorite luffy moment?

oooomg it would have to be the scene in ch. 878 immediately after pedro's death--when luffy 1) snaps the crew out of their grief because they're in danger, 2) comes up with an extremely efficient escape plan for his crew 3) comes up with an extremely efficient plan to deal with katakuri 4) snaps the crew out of their grief again 5) gets the crew to execute their escape 6) executes his own plan (+ bonus moment in 880/881 because it's technically the "end" of this scene).

this whole moment on the ship is the Captain Of The Straw Hat Pirates moment for me. hang on, i'm gonna include manga caps because i dont think ive ever talked about the way the dialogue is set up in this scene before and im stealing this opportunity lmao

like, we almost never see luffy really engage with his role as captain and leader in a traditional sense--yes, he's captain, but in most arcs he fits the "The Big Guy" role more than the leader, and often the broader captain-ish duties fall to other characters (e.g. planning and executing strategy outside of battle, mostly). like, half of the entire joke in both dressrosa and wano is that luffy doesn't plan (even though we, the readers, know that he does) and yet in WCI he not only showcases his skills as a leader but does so flawlessly.

(for context, "The Big Guy" is basically the trope of like... the most powerful person, the one you know is always going to win/solve any problem by the end of it--the character who's going to fight the biggest bad in a story and who often can't deal with "little" problems within a story because it would undermine the internal logic of a story's power-scaling. i have many thoughts on The Big Guy and i think one piece is one of the few series that does it well, along with spyxfamily re: yor... but i digress.)

so here's where i think the "moment" starts in ch. 878. for a refresher, in ch. 877 luffy+co reach the sunny, fine chopper/brook encased in candy, katakuri attacks, big mom attacks, the sunny gets stuck in candy, and then pedro sacrifices himself. at this point in time, luffy+co have been on the ship for all of a few seconds--in 877, nami is trying to set up a coup de burst and explain how it works to jinbei at the same time, luffy is holding off katakuri, but nothing is really happening. when pedro sacrifices himself no one knows what his plan is so they don't have time to incorporate it into their escape strategy (which is basically nonexistent at this point). then--wham! pedro is down, the candy breaks, and there's a split-second of decision time that luffy jumps on, which brings us to 878

everyone is shocked and grieving, their tentative set-up is completely derailed, and luffy immediately takes charge--starting with "can we fly, nami?!"

he addresses nami as the navigator/in charge of the physical ship itself a this point (+ she set up the coup de burst in 877), then addresses the crew as a whole in "let's set sail, people!!"--like, the way this is phrased sets him apart slightly as someone with the authority to speak to the group as a whole; he's getting everyone's attention. then his declaration!!! "if we waste this moment... then we throw away his sacrifice!!"

he's completely taking charge of the situation and focusing on getting the rest of the crew to safety. it is his job as captain to look out for the whole, so he doesn't waste a second--which is so incredible, because we know luffy is emotional, that's his whole thing. he's incredibly emotionally-driven and emotionally-intelligent, but during this entire scene he is being emotionally driven to protect his crew, which in turn gives time for his (often-overlooked) intelligence and pragmatism to shine.

once he has everyone's attention as a group, he goes back to addressing crew members individually--which i think is really important because that's, like, literally what you do in a crisis when you're taking charge. you get everyone on the same page, then you single people out so no one feels lost or unmoored--everyone has something to do, everyone feels included in the solution in some way.

in these two pages alone, he addresses nami, chopper, and brook individually, and then jinbei responds (so he's also participating individually). i think the fact that carrot is excluded here also kind of supports this whole thing, because carrot isn't technically a straw hat--luffy isn't her captain, even though she's under his protection at this point. here, he's ordering his crew in his capacity as a leader.

and then, of course, there's the moment:

yes, he's talking to katakuri here, but he's also on the sunny's deck screaming--and his address to the crew doesn't have a distinct "end point" from a dialogue perspective, he just gets cut off when katakuri attacks carrot. here, i think he's declaring this as much to katakuri as the straw hats themselves. i think the "end" of this whole scene in 880/881 when he reassures the crew (after holding the fucking mirror shards in his mouth--god this whole scene is just so good) that everything will be fine supports this, too, because that feels like the end of the crew address to me. but i'll get there.

now that he has the crew on track to execute their own escape (by giving them step by step orders to do so, basically), he tackles the katakuri problem. at this point, he's already figured out what to do, because he's gearing up for the elephant gun grip that he uses to pull katakuri into the mirror world, and he doesn't tell anyone else his plan because it's his responsibility as captain to take care of the crew (as opposed to just his responsibility as The Big Guy to take out the strongest enemy, which--if we were just adhering to The Big Guy trope, i think he would have shouted his plan along with everything else. basically authority [no one needs to know my plan because it's my responsibility to handle it and i know i will] vs. equality [im the strongest but we're all in this together so here's what im going to do], and he's authority.)

then we get another crew address, this time starting individually then talking to the group. they see the shadow--they realize pedro has died but perospero has survived--nami is seconds from absolutely spiraling again (just look at that panel of her, oh my god). further proof that luffy is the most emotionally intelligent character in the entire series, luffy immediately redirects everyone's attention a second time, focusing them away from their grief again and onto their own escape again.

since this is, like, a second wave of grief/horror, he starts with the individual address--snapping everyone out of it directly because a whole-crew address might not cut it and he needs to include carrot, here.

then mid-address, he grabs brulee and starts executing his katakuri takedown plan. his focus here is entirely on keeping his crew safe in the most efficient way possible, and in two pages we get: assessing the situation (grief 2) -> solving the immediate problem (the escape plan starts to derail, everyone needs to snap back out of it) -> solving the next problem (katakuri) -> inspiring them to carry on because he's about to leave.

(seriously. i cannot overstate how great the brulee grab mid-dialogue is in the broader context of this scene. seriously.)

(also, the way the group -> individual -> individual -> group address works in this whole scene feels like such a beautiful closed dialogue loop... even on a structural level it's designed to have the biggest possible impact. love u oda.)

then, of course, we have the culmination of this whole thing--the mirror smash. with ruthless efficiency, he not only isolates the biggest immediate threat (katakuri) but also the character who poses the biggest danger to the crew's escape--brulee. all three of them have been completely separated from his crew, and now he can both keep an eye on brulee and the mirrors (which is most of 880/881), the "intelligence" part of the plan, and confront katakuri directly, the "battle" part of the plan.

also, the decision to isolate katakuri works both ways here--he's not only protecting the crew from katakuri as an enemy, but he's also protecting the crew from their fight. we see in subsequent chapters that the katakuri fight absolutely decimates the mirror world. if they were to face off anywhere near the sunny, people would get hurt. if katakuri were to escape, not only could he harm the crew but luffy would have to give chase and bring the fight back to katakuri, wherever he ends up (attacking the crew). i fully believe the decision to isolate brulee shows that he's aware of this--their fight has to stay in the mirror world, because the only way he'll win is by operating at full power and his full power is destructive.

also--this moment is just really cool, okay? it's so, so cool.

honorable mention to the rest of this "scene" as it's continued in the next few chapters, specifically the way this whole thing culminates--luffy holding the last mirror shards in his mouth to make sure he can communicate his final reassurances to the crew without the risk of those shards falling into enemy hands.

to me, this is as solidly and completely an "i'm the captain of this ship!" moment as the declaration itself, and every time i think about it for more than 0.2 seconds i start to go crazy. but. it it technically a different "moment" (and is also extremely self-explanatory) so i won't go into it here.

also, side note because this didn't fit anywhere--i think this scene not only stands on its own as one of luffy's most badass moments but also works as a really amazing example of his character growth--particularly compared to scenes like the usopp fight in water 7 (different scenario technically because usopp isn't an enemy, but it is one of the premier moments when he struggles with the burden of being captain).

“Papaaa. Anya wants hot cocoa and peanuts!” Your little sister, Anya, tugged the fabric of your father’s pants.

You loved nights like this. Hot tea or cocoa on the tea table next to you, a good book that you began to read, and all while curled up on your father’s lap. Ever since the Forgers had freed you from the chains of your orphanage — and past, this chapter of your life was certainly much more enjoyable.

They provided quite literally everything you needed. Education, clothes, books, outings to fancy museums, your favourite meal — they had been so kind to you from the start. You didn’t like how secretive dad and mom had to be about certain things… but that was their adult life, you supposed. You weren’t about to complain after everything that they had done for you.

“Come sit here with me, (Y/N).” Your father smiled, patting the seat next to him. You gingerly got up and patted Anya’s pink hair, silently asking her to make space for you as you leaned against your father. You sighed tiredly as you thumbed through your next find — a beautiful hardcopy of The Secret Garden that you found in your father’s study.

“Is it good, (Y/N)? I saw you looking at it the other day.” Mrs. Forg- Mom commented. You glanced up as she gently handed a freshly made cup of cocoa to you and your sister.

“Mhm. I just started though. But I like it so far.” You offered her a small smile, helping yourself to the dish of peanuts. Anya was digging through them and finding funnily-shaped ones to show your father.

The rest of the evening was spent watching the cartoons Anya insisted on watching and discussing the book — until your mind decided that it was finally time to slow down, and your eyelids started to flutter shut. Anya was already snoring next to you.

“Oh, I think they’re both asleep. Could you carry them to bed, Loid?” You heard Mom whisper, feeling the warmth of your father envelop you as he lifted you into his arms. You were too sleepy to protest — and as children are made for their parents, your arms naturally wrapped around his neck.

Living with your new family was albeit hard to adjust to, but oh how you enjoyed it! You loved them to bits and always looked forward to more nights like this.

O o o for the new ask game what about a no quirk AU where after Yoichi moves out, much to his brothers chagrin, he meets Second. They have a whirlwind romance and marry. Except. Yoichi never tells his brother.

All of a sudden, Hisashi makes a surprise visit. Then he meets second. They stare at each other They all have a family dinner. Basically like the dynamic of Yuri, Yor and Loid from SpyxFamily

How fun, I'm going to add in even more identity confusion for maximum drama.

1. Since this is a no quirks AU, Hisashi is a corrupt businessman but has fortunately never killed anyone. Not directly anyway, he's racked up a lot of environmental violations. Second is an environmental rights activist bringing a massive lawsuit against All for One incorporated. The Shigaraki brothers are orphans and Hisashi more or less raised Yoichi. Because Hisashi is still a controlling brother even though he doesn't own a bank vault, Yoichi moves out as soon as he can get a job after college.

2. For months, Hisashi refused to speak to Yoichi because he moved out. Hisashi was under the delusion this would lead to Yoichi apologizing and returning home.

3. While Hisashi was sulking, Yoichi was acting like a kid from a controlling family experiencing freedom for the first time. Yoichi hit up every gay bar in town and didn't really know how to handle his alcohol due to no one teaching him responsible drinking. Second found Yoichi passed out, saved him from choking on his own vomit, and got him to a hospital. Yoichi has called Second his "hero" ever since. Their whirlwind romance included a trip to Las Vegas where they got married in a legally questionable casino ceremony like something from a romcom.

4. Hisashi eventually had to lower his pride and reach out to his little brother first to reconcile. Yoichi had long enough to start missing his brother and invited him to a family dinner to introduce his new husband. Hisashi's stunned look was mistaken for shock that Yoichi had a husband. Second was equally flabbergasted because he hadn't realized Yoichi came from the same Shigaraki family since Yoichi didn't seem rich and didn't talk about his family. At this point, Hisashi wishes he had a bank vault.

5. As soon as they were alone, Hisashi accused Second of seducing his brother to get information on him. Second panicked and was scared Yoichi would think the same, so he started trying to cover up his big court case against All for One. Meanwhile Hisashi also wants to cover everything up so he doesn't fight with his brother over his unethical business practices and risk another estrangement.

6. Cue a ridiculous comedy of errors with Second hiding his phone and exchanging these angry yet clearly transmitting information looks with Hisashi. He's not a very good actor and Yoichi is getting suspicious. The good news is that Hisashi actually cleans up his environmental act because the only thing more important to him than making money is winning against his brother-in-law in court.

7. Matters come to a head when Yoichi demands to know if Hisashi and Second are exes. They're so horrified that they come clean. And Yoichi is so relieved that he forgives them.

8. Family dinners continue to be combative with Hisashi and Second trying to spy on each other and make the other look bad in front of Yoichi. But it's still a relatively happy ending by Shigaraki Family Drama standards.

Okay, so, weird thing about both Vax AND Vex, they're extremely stalkerish.

the very MOMENT they thought you were acting even slightly suspicious, they immediately discussed it with each other.

"Vex-" "Yes, me too."

they most def hear EVERYTHING you do.

They had a little book that had information about everything you did.

your fault, why aren't you home by the mandatory curfew (that they implemented that nobody in fact listens to) of 8PM sharp?

You'll usually feel Vax's eyes on you when you come home after a bounty, but you choose to pretend you're oblivious to it so you can continue acting clueless.

HOWEVERRRR he eventually cornered you and confronted you.

you walked in and he was just like.. leaning against the wall all nerdy.. so you kinda just.. side eyed him and walked by..

"Where have you been?"

your heart dropped to your asssssss, him confronting you was so much scarier than it needed to be.

"What are you talking about?"

"We know you've been sneaking out. You're never home by 8."

"..Nobody follows that anyway, Vax.. not even Pikes home right now. Who are you, my dad?" You raised an eyebrow at him as you spoke down to him for asking you what's been going on.

"Vex told me you went to a washers covered in blood. What's that all about?"

"I don't know what you're talking about. Maybe don't stalk random people, it's creepy, Vax." You scoff, and storm off to your room.

You sit down in your bed and heave a sigh, letting the knife drop that was hidden between your arm and side under your oversized blouse.

Vex

Vex was the first one to actually confront you and get an answer.

she low-key scared tf out of you when you turned the corner and saw her.

full on mom stance, arms crossed, face seething..

"If you won't tell Vax, you better tell me now."

Now, mind you, it was like.. 2am.. and you tried sneaking back in because you didn't have time for a outfit change.. so you did in fact look very incriminating with a knife in your hand, drenched in blood.

You have no clue to get out of it, so you fake cry xx

You drop your knife and start crying into your hands, mumbling.

Vex's face DROPS, and she goes to you and holds you, rocking you in her arms.

"I'm not MAD, I'm just upset you didn't tell me.."

After the little cry, she helps you clean yourself up from them on because OBVIOUSLY what gf wouldn't help.

she was honestly just mad you didn't tell her..

"Again? Seriously? You're getting too injured to endure this job." he sighed out to you, frowning at your dampened physical state.

You did not reply, but you looked away, towards a a window opposite of him. You matched his face, frowning.

You flinch back as he applies alcohol to your wound, hissing slightly to your pain.

"Sorry." He mumbled out, and he lifted your shirt more.

He bandages the wound, sealing it so it doesn't become infected. He then pulls off your shirt, and sets it aside to wash later, handing you a new, clean shirt of your own.

On the topic of DC getting more animated shows like my adventures with Superman and Suicide Squad isekai.

Please I need the supersons. I need more animated media of them asap. I'm just saying so there is enough background information about the two of them (cause honestly most introduction to the DC franchises these days are either from the animated and movie not comics).

So that later in future we make the two of them babysit Liz just like in the comics once Lizzie's character is a lot more fleshed out since she's kinda new. Make them go on silly adventures, Lizzie being a child and Jon and Dami just running after her. A slice of life genre that becomes action when they run into a problem.

The idea that they are called when things are dire like a support team back up team is pretty appealing to me. Like Lizzie just popping out of now where with the actual two superheroes sweeping everyone in the path from the sides (also in the midst of the fight Jondami always keep an eye on Lizzie that is probably dropkicking a dude 4 times her size).

It'd be so cute to see them interacting with different superheros groups too like JL, Teen Titans (probably the team being amused at Damian being soft for Lizzie, not that he'll admit it), and possibly YJ too (I don't read a lot of YJ but Bart and Kon radiates so much energy I'm sure they'd match Lizzie lol)

Bro I swear it'll be so good I need it so bad. (Ngl it's giving of buddy daddies and SpyXFamily but I'm all for it)

One Idea I had was them crushing through the mall from one end to another when being chased by a villian. Maybe unnecessary. Will it be good? Yeah very much. Will the animators suffer? Yes very much. (Not really sure why but it does reminds me of goku on the cloud just flying away into the horizon)

Phantom Blot x FemReader headcanons

Some of them are gender nuetral

He stumbles upon you while scouting out a place he's planning to rob, and strikes up small talk to avoid suspicion.

Bonus idea: He's having a rare outing with his daughter, who immediately tries to pull an Anya from SpyXFamily and act as a wingman, "Oh, Dad, I want a Mommy...how about her?" "...What?"

He is surprised how smart you were. Not a super genius like himself, but smarter than most of the residents of Mouseton. Surely someone who would be nice to have around... Seems like he's going to be stealing more than he originally planned, because normal dating clearly isn't an option since his mugshot is everywhere. Yeah, you're getting kidnapped in the "nicest" way he can muster.

He tries very hard to win you over once he has you in his lair (and you calm down). He promises fortune, power, fame if you want it, luxuries beyond your wildest dreams, anything else you want to hear. All you have to do is be his. If this doesn't work, he's not afraid to subtly threaten you, too. He is a villain after all.

Should you accept his advances, he does his best to keep you a secret, just as he tried to keep his daughter a secret. He can't risk any other villains using you as a hostage.

He makes a hidden room for you to hide in whenever there are unwanted guests, complete with an emergency exit.

He's charming, acting like a complete gentleman, but you could never fully trust him. You're no fool, you know what he is.

He does genuinely try to spoil you, occasionally stealing a few extra necklaces and letting you pick some before selling the rest on the black market. He'll also steal high-end clothing, and sometimes... he'll actually BUY something.

He doesn't use pet names often, but when he does, he tries to stick to the "blot" theme. "My little spot" is a go to for when he's trying to butter you up. You catch on to this and after a while start to respond to "My little spot" with "What are you up to?"

If he starts calling you his queen or empress, it means he's got a world domination plan going on. These are his world domination specific petnames.

Oh, you'd better be ready to hear all his evil monologues, hear him complain about the other villains, etc. He's been needing someone he can vent to for YEARS.

He won't admit it, but he likes cuddles and other forms of physical affection. He wasn't given nearly enough affection as a child.

Oh, cool! He made robots to do all the chores and...turn into a robot suit for him to use? (Darkenblot reference)

He told his daughter he "saved this princess from a dragon" btw.

His daughter is a sweetheart. You would die for this child. It breaks your heart you have to lie and paint The Blot as the good guy and hide the fact he's actually a criminal mastermind. You don't see her too often since she's in the care of Mrs. Fragmuffin, but The Blot spoils her rotten, snd she starts calling you "Mommy" right away.

Thinking of Yuri

Was requested by an anon. It was originally supposed to be a one-shot but I thought that doing headcanons would be cuter since I couldn’t choose one scenario.

Also sorry for the long hiatus, I’ve been working more to save up money to buy a Custom PC. Still have a ways to go but I now have a some free time and thought I could do a small request in my ask box.

✧ Yuri is your everything, you just hope that one day you can confess your love for him as he had done for you. After all, a drunk man’s words are a sober man’s thoughts.

✧ You and Yuri had first started as friends at school, no one really talking to you other than to be in good terms with you. So because you didn’t have any real close friends during school days, Yuri, your desk mate, became one of the few people you talked to daily.

✧ Yuri started pressing your buttons and soon you became more comfortable with his presence and even entertained his ideals and dreams, he was a young an with potential and desires. You thought nothing more of him until he brought up how he wants you to be a part of his dream and be there with him.

✧ It surprised you since there was no malice in his words and his eyes held nothing but care and generosity. It was then that the two of you became closer friends, leaving you to start your new journey on how to be a good friend.

✧ Years have passed and with Yuri’s help, you’ve made new friends. But Yuri still stayed as your closest. To the point where you stopped thinking of him as a ‘friend’ but rather yearning for more. It didn’t help that many of the things he said or did for you was always kinder and more caring then he acts towards other peers.

✧ He made you feel special, and you yearns for that attention and feeling. It was warm, like a lit fireplace in a cabin during the winter nights, one that you’d reach out towards and sigh in relief and pleasant thought.

✧ The both of you live in the same apartment complex, by pure chance so Yuri makes it a habit of dropping by for dinner when he has the time or even leaving gifts for you at your doorstep on your sick days. In return, you’d drop by with baked goods or just to have a drink, albit you try to monitor his drinking since he tends to act out in a drunken stupor.

✧ It was in one of his drunken stupors that you discovered his feelings for you, but you pretended to not have heard as you wished for him to tell you himself, when he was not drunk. But that still made you grow more attached to the gentlemen.

✧ Sometimes, while at work, you would have daydreams about dating Yuri or just being by his side. It’s always embarrassing to get caught by a co-worker as they knew something was on you mind and that you had a long-term crush on someone, but it makes you blush more at the thought that you can’t get him out of your mind.

✧ Since you’re such close friends, He’d often ask you out on an outing. It’s not a date, but seeing as he gifts you small presents like small jewelry and flowers, you can’t help but think they could be.

✧ Outings made you nervous, knowing how handsome Yuri is and how he’s still a single man, a lot of women have there eyes on him and it scares you to think that he would leave you for another. So on these outings, you can’t help but reach out to his sleeve and hold on tight as to ‘not get lost’. Yuri will then pull you closer and have you hold his bicep.

✧ The alarm bells in your head ring as a fire lit in your stomach. You felt like vomiting out your breakfast but also felt light on your feet, as if you could blow away with the spring breeze. Heart beating so fast that it could compare to the wing-beat of a love dove.
