During the first month, she would blow up your phone, leaving you thousands of calls and messages, sometimes she’d be drunk when she left them, but never did she once pull up to your apartment, you wouldn’t either if you were her. Looking at him all sceptical, “ah, look, Iverson, you’re great and all but I don’t think I’m ready to get back to dating just yet.”

“Huh? OHHH, NO NO.” Physically waving his hands in front of your face, “I’m just saying, if I did something that you wouldn’t technically like, we would stay friends?” He awkwardly smiles.

You, now confused as ever, stares at him, “that depends, what did you do.”

By some miracle you understood everything he said, and both your jaw and heart drops, taking a quick glance behind you to see Jenna looking out the door. “YOU WHAT?! ARE YOU CRAZY?!” You shout whisper, making sure she doesn’t hear you.

“I know, I know, I’m sorry, but she was very persistent, and she may be barely 5ft but she’s scary sometimes.”

“Oh, you poor man, weak, but poor, poor man, get out of here before I change my mind, I’ll deal with you later.”

“LOVE YOU.” He dashes away, making sure he wasn’t going to get caught in the cross fire. This was Jenna’s cue to come up to you, and you could feel her presence getting closer. Once she was in your gaze, she musters up the courage to speak one syllable.

“Hi.”

“Hi, Jenna.”

“How are you?” Small talk.

“Good, you?”

“Could be better.” She confesses.

“Heh, yeah, me too.”

“Y/n, can we talk?”

“Jenna.”

“You don’t have to say anything, just please, hear me out?” She pleads.

“Okay.”

She sits down and stares into your soul, you can’t help but melt, you missed her so much, more than you have ever, and now she’s looking into your eyes, lost, as if you can be the only one to find her.

“I just want to say how sorry I am, for everything, for being a shitty girlfriend, for lashing out, for never showing you off to the world, God, I was so insane for keeping you a secret, look at you, you’re perfect. You’re everything I want and more, anyone is lucky to have a y/n in their life, romantic or platonic. I would say I was scared, scared about everything, about losing you so I started pushing you away, but no excuse could justify the way I treated you. I’m sorry, I love you.” Your heart raced up, broke, and mended all at once, so many feelings rushed through you, thoughts were so loud in your mind, you didn’t know what to say.

“Jenna… I, I don’t know what to say.”

“Just one more chance? Please, the world means nothing to me if you aren’t by my side.”

“I don’t know, Jen.” By now, people in the coffee shop started to notice that Jenna Ortega was in their vicinity, so they started taking pictures of you two whilst listening to your conversation.

“You don’t love me anymore?”

“No, it’s not that, I do love you, and always will, no matter what, but I just don’t think I could subject myself to that again.”

“I promise I won’t ever hurt you again.”

“You make a lot of empty promises, you know.”

“I promise- oh, y/n this time I mean it, not that I didn’t mean it last time, it was stupid of me to have broken it.”

“So stupid.”

“So stupid,” she relays back.

“Okay,” you let out in a breath, “okay, just one more chance, but you have to communicate with me, you can’t push me away like that.”

“I promise.”

You laugh, “you and your promises, Ortega.”

“You and your beauty, l/n. You are my number one, forever and always.”

“You did all this in public? In a coffee shop?”

“You should have never been a secret.” And with that, she leans in and kisses you, taking your bottom lip as you take her top, you were so sure everyone had their phones out now, taking pictures for social media.

“I also want to say I’m sorry, especially for what I.”

“Don’t apologise for that, it was a wake up call, I deserved it.”

As you two arrive home, you were stuck in the same place as you were two months ago, with your tongue sliding down your girlfriend’s throat. You want to keep going but your phone in your pocket is buzzing up a storm, “you should probably check that.” Jenna giggles.

“What did you do?” You playfully smack her shoulder.

“What I should have done ages ago.”

You whisk out your phone and check Instagram, where most of your notifications came from, you see your follower count has gone up by thousands, “Jenna.”

“Keep looking.” She giggles, as you check the main culprit, you find out it was her, whilst you were driving, she had taken a bunch of your photos and videos together and posted them, clearly showing that you were more than a friend, that you are all hers again, and she is all yours. The comments were so supportive, you were filled with joy, so many fans and so many celebs including the entire Wednesday cast, especially Gwendoline hyping you both up. As you further investigate, you now see the photos fans took at the coffee shop, making you laugh, a lot of them were of you and her kissing. “Go back to my post and read the caption.” And so, you did, as your eyes glance down, you let out a soft laugh as you read it.

New to ATEEZ, but I’ve decided to try an astrological chart reading anyway. Happy to announce that Hongjoong and his chart are wonderfully complicated.

✦ Disclaimer

I do not know him personally, no harm intended, others may interpret differently. I’ve been studying astrology for six years, and I take this seriously and try my best. Feel free to ask any questions you have!

✦ Note

I will not be discussing parents, family, or earlier life to preserve some privacy. This is not a full chart reading, just some highlights I found to be fascinating. He should contact me, I have questions I want answered.

✦ Overview

Before everything else, so many placements and aspects in his chart scream the need to consistently transform his sense of self—Sun in Scorpio in 9H, Midheaven in Scorpio, Uranus in Aquarius in 1H, Neptune conjunct Ascendant, Mercury conjunct Pluto, Mars in Virgo in 8H. Whoever he was a year ago is not necessarily who he is today. He loves to see how he has improved himself over time because he is obsessed with bettering himself. There’s a battle of dark and light, black and white, trying to remain open-minded while sticking to his instinctual duality.

Another large portion of his chart is concerned with distrust of authority and the craving of freedom. Sun in 9H, Uranus in 1H, Saturn in Aries—he wants control. It’s a sore spot. But he’s also really good at getting these authority figures to like him? That Venus, man…

This is very much an artist’s chart, and I can’t see him doing anything not involved with creativity. Sun conjunct Venus, Venus conjunct MC, Venus quintile Neptune, Saturn square Neptune, Moon in 5H, Uranus in 1H—all of these are creative and artistic. He needs to put his whole heart into what he loves or he’ll be miserable. Creativity is his emotional outlet.

He’s an intense person. He sort of won the jackpot when it comes to a lot of placements great for idols and creatives in general.

✦ Neptune conjunct Ascendant in Capricorn (First House)

Ironically, he is whoever you want him to be. Idols and celebrities in general with Neptune aspecting the Ascendant do very well in the limelight because they’re able to adapt themselves to whoever is around them at any given time. One great way to look at it is that Neptune rules over mirrors, so his identity reflects like a mirror whoever he needs to be at that time. Wonderful for actors and idols. Another idol with this aspect is Soyeon from (G)I-DLE, except she’s a Virgo Sun.

His sense of self is fluid. He’s able to read the room and act accordingly without thinking much about it, or perhaps even overthinking it and worrying about it. He’s aware of others’ emotions and “vibes” if you will. Not that he’s necessarily good at handling them (Gemini Moon, Capricorn Neptune), but if someone is upset, he knows it.

He’s sensitive and emotional…but this is in Capricorn, the great suppressor of everything. Keep that shit on lockdown. All the mutable signs… He is running from that! We’ll get to that in a bit. He’s INFP, right? He doesn’t feel in a “your emotions are my emotions” way (um, Seonghwa Cancer Moon in 12H), his way is very…difficult to quantify, almost sideways or backwards to others. Makes sense to him, though!

Capricorn Neptune quintile Scorpio Midheaven

About a year ago, I went on a deep dive into quintiles and discovered their usefulness—specifically in that they describe an innate talent for something. This is something inherently within the person that they don’t necessarily notice about themself except through thorough introspection. It forms connections and has a deeply human quality to it. It is, at its most basic form, pure joy and creativity, like Leo. With Neptune ruling over everything from deception to transcendence to lack of boundaries to enchantment… Oh, yeah, she’s a mystical planet, but it’s not all terrifying. The way I would interpret it is that he is innately talented in projecting a certain persona to maintain his outward image. Inside could be turmoil, outside looks fine and dandy, or vice versa. Like I said, he is who you want him to be in that moment. Unlike someone with Sun in 12H, he does have a firm sense of his identity. But it is always in flux. Does this make sense?

✦ Uranus in Aquarius (First House)

Now here is where we start seeing the cravings of freedom and a continuation of the constant shifting of the self. Uranus is the drastic revolutionary of the planets, changing at the drop of a hat, and having it in 1H makes for an eccentric person who doesn’t want to conform to others’ or society’s expectations. Again, contradictions because all that Capricorn Ascendant wants to do is conform. He will do whatever the fuck he wants. He’s not chill about it. Just let him do his thing. He’ll figure out a way to do it anyway because he’s so fucking stubborn.

Having this, along with his Sun conjunct MC, is a great quality for a leader. He would not do well if someone else was in charge of this group.

Trying to figure out the best way to describe this placement, and I guess you could say… He feels like there is no one like him…

Scorpio Sun square Aquarius Uranus

A lot like Uranus in 1H, an overall strange and unique personality and not afraid to do his own thing. The square makes this somewhat difficult because it’s a challenging aspect after all, so it becomes that desire to rebel/desire to conform once again, fluctuating between the two at odd moments. Touchy—not physically but temperamental and anxious. I guess you could associate this aspect with that of the mad genius trope, determined that they are right with their innovations too grand for current society. He doesn’t like to be compared to others. Extremely willful and stubborn. He’s lucky he has a lot of mutable signs, otherwise he would be more overbearing and wouldn’t “go with the flow” as easily. That being said, he will still resist and find his own way to do things if he really doesn’t want to do them.

Scorpio Venus square Aquarius Uranus

He runs hot and cold with people, very either/or, and I would say that someone else in the group who acts a lot like this would be Seonghwa(!), who has Venus in Aquarius in 8H. One day he’s your best friend, then he won’t talk to you for three weeks, then he’ll come back and act like nothing has changed. Values his freedom in his relationships with others. He’s very attached to those he considers himself close with (Scorpio Venus, Descendant in Cancer), but he still needs his space to do his own thing. Deeply afraid of rejection and will appear aloof or unreachable emotionally because of this. Unconventionality, beauty in the diverse, unique sense of style.

✦ Jupiter Rx in Pisces (Second House)

Once again with the eccentricities… Jupiter is domicile in Pisces, meaning it operates best there, but the retrograde gives it an introspective twist. Everything has value to him. Truly just seeking deeper meaning than what lies on this mortal plane. He would be so fun to have a philosophical conversation with because he would take it so seriously and yet be very silly about it. Very inspirational, likes to give and receive what he considers worthy, such as love. Bit backwards in showing his affections, but it’s important to him.

Virgo Mars opposite Pisces Jupiter Rx

One of my books describes this as a Holy Crusader, fighting for a belief or against one; I personally describe Mars-Jupiter contacts as obsessive overachievers. Completely enamored with whatever he deems is his for the time. There is a need to go out and do everything, to continue to heap on to his pile of tasks, consistently adding more and more, and if there’s nothing or no one stopping him, he won’t stop.

The Virgo-Pisces opposition is incredibly fascinating because this adds an innately sacrificial component to him, the serviceable and boundary-setting Virgo combined with the compassion and boundary-dissolving of Pisces ends up creating the perfectionistic martyr of sorts. If it’s not perfect, it’s not seeing the light of day.

Side note: Lots of Mars-Jupiter hard aspect energy in ATEEZ. We have some fighters here. Calm down. Hongjoong has Virgo Mars opposite Pisces Jupiter, Yeosang has Libra Mars opposite Aries Jupiter, San has Scorpio Mars opposite Taurus Jupiter, Wooyoung has Capricorn Mars square Aries Jupiter, Jongho has Virgo Mars square Gemini Jupiter.

Seonghwa has Mars conjunct Saturn in Aries, Mingi has Scorpio Mars opposite Taurus Saturn, Yunho has the same aspect as Mingi but as a very weak opposition (10° orb). Saturn the constrictor is sort of the contrast to Jupiter the exacerbator.

It’s fascinating to see these dynamics at play. They’re all extremely hard workers, and their charts show that.

✦ Saturn Rx in Aries (Third House)

This is his chart ruler, the most important planet in his chart besides Sun and Moon. Saturn is called the greater malefic because of its rulership over authority and control, and when placed in the third house of communication, it can manifest as someone who is afraid to communicate or rather lacks the capabilities to communicate effectively. The fact that it’s in Aries (in fall), and 29° (itchy and unstable), and retrograde… Sorry to this man. He’s not a small talker. And he says the wrong thing at the wrong time and has to live with the mortifying concept of being known. Really dry and direct sense of humor. He is just…awkward. 😭 That’s okay! His Sagittarius Mercury both emphasizes and contradicts this. He’ll say a lot of things, but not necessarily say what he truly feels unless he’s poked and prodded enough.

Aries Saturn Rx square Capricorn Neptune

This aspect is really good for fighting (square) to create the ideal (Neptune) into reality (Saturn). It also deals with guilt and fears, especially the fear of losing control. A materialist with karmic guilt that he absolves by creating and dissipating it to the collective. For instance, a writer or musician.

✦ Moon in Gemini (Fifth House)

Long story short, Gemini is a mutable air sign, and a lot of astrologers can interpret air sign Moons as unemotional. WRONG. He is a very passionate and emotional and thoughtful person; he processes his emotions differently and likes to put them into words and rationalize them. Meanwhile, Saturn in 3H that affects his ability to communicate effectively exists. Moon sextile Saturn, which impacts this further. Do you see the vision here? I do think he tries his best, but sometimes it just doesn’t work out the way he wants it to, and he has to figure out a different way of doing things.

If there’s one thing mutable signs love to do, it is avoid. He has five mutable planets in his chart (Gemini Moon, Sagittarius Mercury, Virgo Mars, Pisces Jupiter, Sagittarius Pluto), which is half of the planets, so you can see why avoiding can be a major issue here. Luckily he’s a Capricorn Ascendant, reliable and steady, and he has enough passion and drive to keep him going due to his Mars placement and the massive amount of Scorpio influence.

Gemini Moons are everywhere at once…petty and playful and curious. You know the drink dispensers at fast food places and there’s that one person who will hit every flavor to get a chaotic blend of every drink that tastes the absolute worst because Hi-C and Coca-Cola were not meant to be mixed together? Ask him a weird fact he’s learned recently, I’m sure he’ll have at least five on hand. Great at mimicking others, if not literally mimicking then through trying to become others, like idolizing an older sibling. Shoutout to Yunho and San, the other two Gemini Moons in ATEEZ. Seonghwa, Yeosang, Mingi, and Wooyoung are all Cancer Moons. Jongho is either Pisces or Aries, likely the latter.

Gemini Moon square Virgo Mars, square Pisces Jupiter Rx + Mars-Jupiter opposition

This is what astrologers call a T-square (because it looks like a T, two squares connected by an opposition), fueled by activity and acting before thinking. The planets locked in this (Moon, Mars, Jupiter) are also extremely active. Mars is drive, aggression, action, impulse, the need to do rather than sit idle. This is a very volatile aspect, very quick to respond to any sort of perceived attack and sensitive to conflict. Moon and Mars are in signs ruled by Mercury, there’s so much rationalizing going on here, so he’s likely overthinking every little aspect. “Act first, think later” planets in “think fast” signs. Jupiter is aspected to these two as well, so it’s exacerbated. Ah… Overwhelmed… The apex planet is the Gemini Moon in 5H—turn to creativity to let those deep-seated feelings loose.

Moon square Mars indicates lots of coming and going in his home life, nothing’s ever really stable—ironic considering all that IC in Taurus wants is stability. Moon square Jupiter can be extreme, emotionally fighting on behalf of his beliefs. Defensive over those he cares about. He can make fun of his friends, but you as an outsider can’t.

Gemini Moon sextile Aries Saturn Rx

Security and long-term goals (Moon and Saturn) meet in active and short-term signs (Aries and Gemini). Dependable, reliable, direct, loyal. This is a fairly serious aspect, but the Aries and Gemini make it more playful and full of banter. He will keep his promises…the Sagittarius Mercury might make them a bit later than you anticipated, though. I think that this aspect calms down a fair amount of the Moon-Jupiter aspect, makes him more chill.

His Moon is important in his chart, really brings together who he is. He has planets in Houses 1, 5, and 9—associated with the fire signs of Aries, Leo, Sagittarius, these bring passion and spirit to everything he does. His sense of self (1H) influences his creativity (5H) which in turn influences other people through his visions (9H). Fantastic for an entertainer.

✦ Mars in Virgo (Eighth House)

This placement is part of why his stage presence is like that. You know what I mean.

Eighth house, as well as its associates Scorpio and Pluto, tends to scare or intimidate people because it rules over everything from death, rebirth, and surgery to taxes, legacies, inheritances, and anything hidden or taboo. At its core, 8H rules over base instincts, the primal drive within us all. Whatever is buried will eventually surface, sometimes in explosive or drastic ways if not channeled into constructive outlets. This house also symbolizes “that which is shared”—the opposite of 2H, which is what you alone possess. It’s the give and the take, the you and I merging to become we. 7H is initial one on one interactions, and 8H adds depth to these relationships.

Unfortunately, the fact that Mars is in Virgo exacerbates his nitpicky and perfectionistic tendencies, and he’s hypercritical of others (and himself!) if they don’t meet his unachievable standards. “You need to do it this specific way.” And he will do it over and over and over again until it’s right. If he can’t figure it out one way, he will approach it from another way and see if that works instead because he won’t give up and he won’t give anything less than his best.

His desire is to control and to destroy to create something new. In the overview, I mentioned the need to transform himself, but it’s likely he pushes these ideals of transformation onto others as well—”I can be better than I am now, and you could be better than you are now. Let’s do it together.” Mastery over the self.

✦ Sun in Scorpio (Ninth House)

The best way to describe any Sun placement in this house is that “life is best viewed as a journey”—it’s about the experience rather than the end result. People with this placement are also the wise counsel and advice givers, however they never follow their own advice. Always seeking, always striving, always attempting to be something more. And this is in Scorpio, the transformer and regenerator. Scorpio gets a bad rep for reasons associated in the Mars section (Scorpio-Pluto-8H connection); he’s simply not afraid to seek out his own vision of the truth, whatever that may be. Intense, loyal, deep.

✦ Venus in Scorpio (Ninth House)

Love is something all-encompassing… He has strong morals and ideals and a good sense of judgment. Especially since his 9H starts in Libra! This placement appreciates the diversity of life and all the adventure it can bring, including the parts others would love to bury. He keeps the peace—until it needs to be reformed.

Once someone breaks through the billion walls he has in place to protect himself, he will keep you. Unless you betray him, which is the ultimate offense. Scorpio Venus people find it so difficult to trust others, and when betrayed, you are done for.

He can get along with anyone as long as you let him be his authentic self. If you try to change him against his will, he’ll lock up and shut you out, but you have to accept whatever changes he goes through.

I must be good enough.” I think this is where his light/dark battle really struggles because he has so much raw intensity inside of him, but this conjunction makes it difficult for him to confront anything too harsh, and he would rather not show himself in an unpleasant light.

If the IC is where you come from, the MC or Midheaven is where you are going. It’s often used to interpret someone’s career path as well as how they are perceived by the outer community. Having Sun and Venus altogether here in Scorpio is deeply ambitious and persistent, and he wants to be known for something, for being himself (Sun) or for being fashionable in some regard (Venus). This is indicative of great success in life and receiving massive amounts of love. Sun conjunct MC is indicative of a leader in his field while Venus conjunct MC is indicative of the peacemaker, public popularity, the charmer over the voice of authority. However, this is Scorpio. It’s obsession and power. He will fight to get what he wants. It’s not a steady road or an easy road, but one he’s willing to face.

✦ Mercury conjunct Pluto in Sagittarius (Tenth House)

To put it simply, words are power. No one can keep a secret from him because this, along with his Mars in 8H, make him able to dredge up any secrets. Good luck hiding fan spaces from him. He likely sees everything. Very persistent.

He’s extremely motivated and driven to achieve his goals, career-oriented, intellect (Mercury) and instinct (Pluto) aligned in higher meaning (Sagittarius) and social status (10H). I honestly don’t know if he’s ever talked about when he decided to become an idol? Once he decided his career path, it’s likely he went all in and used his practical skills to achieve his dreams. (Though with Pluto here, he could end up switching his vocation someday, complete reversal.) His career needs meaning. He likes to be seen as intelligent and reliable. And he is! He is just also doing fifty million things at once.

✦ Words of advice to him

You are not who you were yesterday, and that’s okay. It’s also okay to let others in and ask for help because you have North Node in 7H—super easy to fall back on emotional distance and selfish behaviors when what you need to excel in life is tapping into your qualities of living life to the fullest surrounded by those whose company you enjoy most. It’s okay to doubt and to destroy and to resurrect something from the ashes. And it’s okay to be yourself because no matter who you are, love will find you.

Fluffing your curls in the mirror once more, you smile to yourself practically skipping to sit in the wooden table chair you strategically placed to face the door. Ari was due to come in any moment from his “driving up now😁” text a few minutes ago, and you knew once he caught sight of you in just his denim button down with the sparkling miniature A charm dangling from your neck he wouldn’t be able to keep his hands off you.

You originally opt to sexily cross your legs letting your dainty foot dangle as his shirt inched up your thighs, but what if you just looked awkward? Like a dorky girl trying entirely too hard? You quickly stand, twisting the chair so your arms could cross along its back and your legs spread along either side as you straddled it.

But then he couldn’t see you in the shirt. Or how it fell along your shaved and moisturized legs that glowed as if touched by the sun themselves.

Maybe you should just stand?

The door’s handle jangles announcing Ari’s arrival as you return to your original position, but with hands nestled under your thighs as you anxiously waited for him to notice.

“Hey gorgeous!,” he calls out locking the door before setting his coat on one of the vacant hooks posted on the wall.

“Welcome home honey.” Your sweet, seductive drawl tears him away from looking through the envelopes of mail, performing a double take over his shoulder. His cheerful smile morphing to a low whistle as he turns to face you.

“And what a welcome it is.” He points. “That my shirt?”

“I thought you wouldn’t mind,” you innocently shrug. His duffle lowly thuds to the floor while his work-boots carry him closer.

“You thought right.” He pauses. Towering over you with a slight tilt to his head looking at your chest before that beautiful tilted grin is returning to his pink lips. “When’d you get this?”

“A while ago. Been saving it for a special occasion,” you answer softly giggling from the tickles of his index finger slowly tracing along the delicate chain on your collarbone and eventually to the letter resting on your skin.

“Well..it’s not our anniversary,” he muses lightly gripping the back of your neck to tilt your head for access to your full lips. “Not my birthday or yours..”

His lips journey along your jaw before he’s stopping inches from your weak point - although with Ari, it seemed he was your overall weak spot easily able to have you swooning and fawning while going along with whatever sweet words came tumbling from his mouth. That deep, soothing rasp of his voice paired with the soft gaze of his crystalline eyes making you willingly melt into a puddle at his feet.

“So what is it sweetheart? You just missed me?” Nodding your head with the slightest pout, you hear the soft “aww” roll off his tongue as your arms wind around his neck. His large hands gripping your thighs to wrap around his hips as well before you’re lifted to be at his eye level.

Finally able to meet his lips, it’s the greatest contrast that soothes the want cursing your body while also burning you inside out with every swipe of his tongue. A small moan rumbles through your throat as Ari kneads your lower cheeks and your hips buck ever so gently trying to give your leaky core some type of relief.

But it seems just as soon as you’ve started, your husband’s pulling away with swollen lips and half lidded eyes.

“Y/N…”

“Hm?,” you ask in a daze nipping at his bottom lip before moving to the distended vein in his neck just begging for your attention. Hearing his low groan as he casually adjusted you along his growing bulge has you grinning into his heated skin.

“..n-not tonight gorgeous.”

That’s definitely not what you expected to hear next.

“Oh…um y-yea okay.”

“I’m just tired honey. And-,”

“No it’s okay! You just got back from being on the road for weeks, of course you’re tired bubba,” you smile pecking his lips once more before carefully detaching yourself from his body to step back on the carpet.

“I really appreciate all of this though,” he replies taking your hand to spin you around and making you giggle. “Just give me a day. I promise.”

“Ari don’t worry about me. Get your rest honey.”

Two weeks later, and Ari was apparently still needing rest.

Of course you’d never rush him and respected his wishes, but his apparent avoidance of sex lately left you confused. Especially when he’d rub or kiss along your usual spots to make you squirmy and needy one minute- and then he’d stop. His hands caressing your cheek or neck and giving one last kiss before he was closing his eyes to sleep or claiming how he had to do something. Each time he’d pause as if needing to get whatever was plaguing him off his mind, but instead choosing to give you a soft smile and going on about the day.

Was it you?

“Hey, Ari’s back home right?,” your coworker - and work bestie - Sophia asks walking into your shared work area followed closely behind by your other work best friend that made up your infamous trio, Wallace. From their pace and the concern etched along their faces, clearly something was wrong.

“Yea for a couple of weeks now,” you respond abandoning your typing to look at the two. “Why?”

“There’s this article about a guy that got robbed by two girls at a truck stop early this morning. My mind went straight to Ari and got worried.”

Handing you her phone, your eyebrows slightly furrow as you carefully read the words on the screen.

“Police are investigating a robbery that took place at approximately two this morning at the local Pit gas station just off highway 42 heading towards town. The victim, who will remain nameless at this time, was approached by two women just as he reached his truck before being knocked unconscious. When he came to, with the help of a bystander, his truck had been completely ransacked and pockets emptied. The robbers are currently still at large and a search is underway. As always, if anyone has any information they are highly encouraged to call local authorities where they will remain anonymous.”

“That’s terrible.”

“I wonder if it was a couple of those lasso girls?,” Wallace asks before taking a sip of his coffee.

“Lasso girls?”

“I don’t know if they have a different name for up here, but they’re women that hang out at truck stops and diners off of highways trying to get truckers. It’s kinda like a kink for them the whole trucker lifestyle and look.”

“And how exactly do you know this?,” Sophia asks with a quirk of her brow.

“Don’t give me that look okay? I had a roommate back in college who was one. She and her friend would go every Friday and Saturday to this bar truckers tended to frequent trying find some lucky guy or guys. God I was so glad when she moved out.”

“Why lasso girls though?,” you ask trying to distract your mind from the direction it was going.

“Truckers are known as Asphalt Cowboys, well at least back in Texas they are, so cowboys..lasso..” His hands motion as if linking the connection. “Not gonna lie it’s a kinda cute name. Hey, you okay Y/N?”

You hadn’t realized your eyes were beginning to gloss due to your overactive brain. What if a lasso girl, or girls, were why Ari seemed to not want you lately? The road could get lonely at times and with someone around willing to do any and everything…

“No, he’d never cheat,” you thought to yourself. He loved you too much and showed it in so many ways you’d never question it. But you couldn’t seem to stop that little pesky voice in the back of your mind that wondered if maybe you were the one so madly in love your vision was skewed.

“Yea! I uh think a bit of mascara just got in my eye,” you wave off nonchalantly.

“Oh, that reminds me! What makeup look-,”

“Nope! Uh uh I’m not doin’ this with you today.” Wallace’s head shakes as he returns to his corner desk while Sophia stands with ruby red lips slightly parted in confusion.

“Doing what?”

“Every time you ask us to choose you always go with the opposite. Or you end up doing something altogether different, so why ask us in the first place?”

“Because I want your opinion, and I don’t always do that,” she retorts. Both now looking to you for support.

“Soph, you do tend to do that often.”

“More than often!,” Wallace adds giving you a much needed giggle.

“Whatever, just to prove you guys wrong what you choose is automatically it. Now I’m wearing my black tank with the deep v and then some sparkly ash grey pants, so I was thinking either a cat eye or smokey.”

“Mm..I say cat eye.”

“Yea I agree. That way your makeup doesn’t take away from the fit,” Wallace adds giving you an air high five. You both can’t help but notice the slightly disappointed look in her eyes, which makes you grin and Wallace dramatically groan with arms flailing upwards before dropping.

“Here we go!”

“No!…but I was just thinking-,”

“What if you combine the two?,” you suggest. “A little smokey eye and lengthen the liner.”

“That could work!,” she smiles bouncing in her seat. “See! Not doing the opposite.”

“Mhm. We’ll see when you walk through those doors ma’am.”

Adjusting the silver watch on his wrist, he leans on the bathroom doorframe admiring how you carefully glided the liner around your lips before swiping your gloss. A soft smile gracing his own lips enamored by his angelic wife before it’s falling at how different things were now. It was nothing drastic, but he could feel a sort of…shift in your relationship. The overall aura in your apartment tainted with unspoken tension while kisses were rushed and mostly in passing.

Not that Ari really helped from his own behavior. Clearly the same man desperately in love, but with something bubbling under the surface. He knew you could see it from the looks of concern mixed with heartbreak thrown his way every so often.

“You look beautiful,” he states breaking the silence present in the room since he got out the shower. Alone. Earlier, watching you bend to glide the gold, shimmery, sequined mini up your legs before you were asking him to help tie the back, he was more than ready to try persuading you to stay in and forget about your office party. Ready and very willing to do anything he needed honestly.

The way it perfectly framed your body as if personally made for you, he selfishly wanted that view for his eyes only. That hidden possessiveness of his was kicking in and trying to claw its way out.

“Thank you.” Your tight smile - as if he was just a passerby on the street - doesn’t sit well with him. In all your time together (even when you first met!), you always looked at him with wide eyes and so much adoration he couldn’t believe it was all for him.

And silently he vowed to always keep that gaze in those pretty brown eyes.

“Hey..are we okay? Things have seemed..off.”

Someone would have to look very closely to see how your body stiffens hearing that come from his lips. Your hands a bit sweaty as you bent down to retrieve your heels with your back still towards him.

That seemed to be the main question in your head too the past few days.

“I think you can answer that better than me.”

His sighs moving closer, “Sweetheart-”

“Ari please, let’s just wait until we get back. Okay?”

Using his hand to brush the hair from his eyes, he nods. His thick arms help you put on your coat before gently grasping your upper arm so you couldn’t walk away. You have to look down to calm your misty eyes and try to dissolve the heavy rock in your throat.

“I love you,” he speaks just above a whisper. His cerulean eyes soft and apologetic pleading for you to trust he was telling the truth.

“Love you too.”

So far, the night was going well. You introduced Ari to the rest of your coworkers as you both worked the modern office space with bright smiles and loving glances. Both of you also enjoying the momentary distraction from your problem patiently waiting for you back home.

“Look at you two sitting here like Hollywood’s hottest couple,” Wallace gushes expertly holding four glasses of champagne between his fingers as he returns to your little corner.

You and Ari share a brief flirty glance before shyly grinning. The hairs of his beard tickling your temple from his chaste pecks there. “So tell me, how’s married life newlyweds?”

“Not so different than before,” Ari answers taking the offered glass of bubbly with an appreciative nod. “I still get to wake up and come home to this one, which is all that matters to me. We just got a new title now.”

His fingertip draws random swirls and circles along the smooth skin of your upper arm instinctively making you snuggle closer to him. Your head on his chest while your crossed leg occasionally taps his.

“Respectfully, please don’t get any cuter. I’ll just get depressed and no one wants that,” Sophia jokes making each of you laugh.

“This must be the cool kid’s corner,” an all too familiar voice announces instantly making your once jovial mood fall. A long harbored anxiety resurfacing in one of the worst ways.

Clearly you weren’t the only one to feel it at the sudden hush of your little area. Sophia and Wallace both looking offended on your behalf he’d dare show his face after all this time. Ari’s the only outsider, but isn’t too lost he can’t read the room.

“Happy New Year all,” the stranger smiles flashing his white as snow teeth before taking a sip of the brown liquid in his small glass. You and Ari are the only ones nice enough to return the sentiment, while your best friends just glare. “This the boyfriend?”

“Husband actually,” you correct. “Ari this is Leon. Leon, Ari.”

Both men greet each other with a quick nod of the head before Ari’s sitting up a bit straighter. His arm holding you a bit closer feeling you begin to shake ever so slightly. Why were you nervous?

“Oh, congrats! How long?”

“A while,” Ari answers. “And not to be disrespectful, but I get the feeling you’re not just here for small talk so whatever it is, I’d suggest you get on with it.”

Leon chuckles to himself taking the last swig of his glass before sitting it on the circular table below. “Alright then. Y/N, can we talk in private?” His eyes shift to Ari with that sneaky Cheshire Cat curl to his lips. “Wouldn’t want to bore you with work talk.”

“Wouldn’t bore me at all.” His grip tightening as an assurance nothing would happen to you. “Please, go ahead.”

“Can’t let her out your sight huh?”

“I can, I just don’t like to. Especially around people that I can tell she’s not comfortable with.”

Hearing that menacing chuckle from Leon’s lips takes you back to all those months ago. Following you to your car under the pretense of asking a question on one of your accounts, then blocking you against your car door. His slender and taller frame nowhere near as beefy as Ari’s, yet still intimidating.

“Relax I’m not trying to scare you. Just wanted to talk that’s all,” he smirked leaning forward in what felt like slow motion as you felt yourself begin to hyperventilate. You should’ve fought him off the moment he shifted his body to block your way. Cried out for help at the top of your lungs, but you were frozen unable to comprehend that this was in fact happening to you. Feeling his breath on your neck, you were finally able to react quickly pushing him away with enough strength to have him off balance. He wasn’t down long, but it gave you enough time to get in your car and lock the doors.

Then there was that chuckle. Standing there as if you both were just having a casual conversation while you hurriedly backed out of your usual park. “Have a good night Y/N,” he waved. Your tears steadily falling down your face as you drove home.

“Cmon no need to be jealous Artie. Although I don’t blame you.” His eyes subtly rake up and down your body spending a bit of extra time on your bare legs causing you to uncomfortably shift. It doesn’t go unnoticed by Ari though from the heat coming through his emerald green button down. “She is a beautiful catch.”

It happens just as quick as a passing breeze how your husband’s hands grip your ex co-worker’s shirt bringing Leon’s sinister grin mere inches from his fuming face and clenched jaw. The office growing exponentially quiet, aside from the few gasps, as multiple eyes stay glued on your little corner for what would happen next.

“Ari don’t,” you whisper with hands around his bulging bicep trying to get him to let go. Although your former creep of a partner deserved a fist to the nose and knock against his cranium, you didn’t want Ari to jeopardize his job and the remainder of his life for 10 minutes of satisfaction. “I-I’ll just go.”

“I’m not leaving you alone with him.”

“Aww what’s wrong?,” his voice drips with condescension lowering his tone to just above a whisper so only you and Ari can hear. “Afraid you’re not the only one that can make her flustered? Eyes and nose all scrunched up in that adorable smile; surely soak-,”

A crack followed by a loud thud is all you hear before Sophia and Wallace are both pulling you towards them. The rest of your coworkers watching with gasps and a couple screams as your husband lands a couple more heavy punches making Leon’s head bounce off the tile flooring. “Ari stop!”

He’s past the point of comprehension now only feeling heat as his blood pulses throughout his body and his tunnel vision centered on the weak man below him who dared make his wife uncomfortable.

You tried to wiggle free to break him out of this rage, but your friends’ kept your progress limited instructing you to stay back to avoid getting hurt yourself.

“Alright break it up!,” the heavier set security guard orders easily yanking the two men apart. Ari’s still blind to anything but anger trying to lunge over him to get to the coughing and groaning man on the floor with face bloodied and bruised.

“Trust me, you don’t wanna go to jail tonight sir. Now what’s this ab-?” Looking down he sucks his teeth realizing who it was trying to sit up with a black eye already forming a ring along the socket. “Leon Prince. You know you’re not supposed to be within 50 feet of this building.”

“See what he did to me?! Arrest him now Godfrey!”

“Well now let’s see. You’re banned from this office and show up trespassing this nice party.” His grey eyes briefly meet yours - red and glossy - before he sighs with hands on his hips. “And knowing your history with that young lady, I’d take it you didn’t have good intentions being here in the first place.”

“He still assaulted me!,” he yells flinching as he finally stood to his feet. “He’s equally as wrong.”

“He wanted to talk to my wife alone,” Ari finally speaks. Not a hint of exhaustion in his tone. “I told him whatever they needed to talk about, he could do it in front of us. He said some things and I lost it. I just wanted to protect her.”

“Trust me, I understand. I’d be the same way knowing the kind of man this one is.” He tilts his head - covered in graying hair - towards the double doors. “You both get on home. I’ll take care of Mr. Prince here.”

“That’s it?! He should be detained too!,” Leon states with some onlookers silently agreeing from their slight nods in agreement. Those being his posse of equally toxic boys.

Funny how none of them tried to step in and help though.

“Hey! Be glad I’m not calling the cops so they find out about the trespassing and other strikes against you. But I’m telling you now, show up here again, and I’ll personally make sure they know.” Throwing one last glare towards Ari, he’s a bit off balance as he walks away. His hand rubbing the back of his head as his pack follows behind making sure to stand close to catch their leader if he happened to fall.

Sidling up close to your love, you grab his clean hand to hold but he doesn’t return the gesture slightly breaking your heart. It’s like he’s letting you have his hand rather than actively gripping yours as usual, while his gaze stays on the exact spot Leon once was on the floor.

“Ms. Y/L/N- oh, well that’s not your name anymore huh?,” Godfrey chuckles with hands on his hips.

“No, it’s Levinson now.”

“Mrs. Levinson, if you decide to get the police involved I have your file of incident reports I can hand over.”

Reports? Ari thought. How many times had this happened to you? And why didn’t you tell him?

“And I’ll make sure to notify your boss he showed up here tonight.”

“Thank you.”

“Alright you kids get home safe, and everyone else show’s over! Continue on with your party and what not.”

The drive home Ari’s uncharacteristically quiet. No low hums or off key singing. Just his hand tightly gripping the wheel as he focused on the busy road. The other - usually on your thigh or holding your own - stays planted on the middle console. Yet again when you reach for it, he makes no effort in gripping your hand back or even acknowledging you for that matter. His eyes remain straight ahead until you’re finally turning into the gated complex.

At least he still opens the doors for you.

“Gimme your hand,” you softly instruct ready with a small ziploc bag of ice. He might not have acted like it, but you knew from the redness along his knuckles it had to hurt.

“I got it,” he grunts taking the bag from your hands before leaning over the sink. A low hiss leaving his lips as he carefully sets it on his injury.

“Oh..um okay.” Clearly he needed some time alone.

You take a couple steps towards the bedroom before turning back around hearing a few clinks against the metal basin. His hands grip the edge making the muscles in his forearms and biceps bulge as he peers down at nothing in particular.

“Why didn’t you tell me?”

“B-Because we were just dating then. I didn’t want to bother you with something you then felt obligated to do something about.” The way he looks at you, you would’ve thought you spontaneously grew another limb. “Plus you were on the road most of the time.”

“That doesn’t matter Y/N. You were hurting because of some dick who couldn’t take no for an answer. That’s something as your partner I need to know!”

Your scoff catches him off guard slightly tilting his head with a raised brow. “‘Scuse me?”

“Like you tell me everything. These past days I know something’s been up with you, yet I get nothing. Then again maybe you’re just saving it to tell your little lasso girls.”

“Lass-? What are you talking about?” You sigh, trying to distract yourself with that one pesky stain on your counter you never could get rid of in an effort to keep your incoming tears at bay. You didn’t want to fight with Ari. Not tonight, not ever.

It’d only possibly confirm what you’ve been afraid of this whole time.

“Nothing, I…Don’t worry about it.” Ignoring his calls of your name, you keep forward just wanting to go to bed and forget everything. Maybe if you were lucky enough, you’d even wake up from this dream in his arms and quietly laughing to yourself glad it was all over.

Ari’s footsteps aren’t that far behind stepping with purpose until he’s caught up to block you from entering the bathroom. His expression clearly frustrated and bordering on angry as he peers down at you.

“Let’s get one thing straight. We don’t ever disrespect each other like that,” he firmly states raising his voice and hooking a thumb back in the direction of their previous location down the hall, “and we don’t go to bed mad at each other. Understand?”

“Y-Yes.”

“Yes what?”

“Yes I understand.. I’m sorry for walking away like that.”

Crossing his arms in front of him, he makes no effort to move smoothly leaning back on the bathroom door and not taking his eyes off you. “Now, what lasso girls?”

“Wallace, Soph, and I were talking and they came up. He told me how they wait for truckers at popular stops for hookups or whatever else and then with you acting so different-,”

“You really think I’d cheat?,” he asks as hurt breaks through his stern façade.

“No! No I know you wouldn’t and kept telling myself that, b-but..I couldn’t stop that voice in the back of my mind that worried.” The way your small voice cracks, he can’t help but scoop you into his arms holding you close. Your tears wetting his neck as he sits on the edge of the bed with you in his lap.

“I didn’t mean to make you worry gorgeous,” he whispers. “I promise cheating has never, nor will it ever cross my mind. I’ve just been in my head a bit.”

“About what?”

“Our relationship. Us getting married.” That breaks your heart just as much as if he did cheat.

“Y-You think we moved too fast?,” you ask lifting your head. His palm then caresses your cheek wiping away the drops of water left there with his thumb.

“No..well..yea we moved fast, but that’s what makes our great love story and I don’t regret anything about it.”

“Then I’m confused..?” Why was he so in his head about your marriage then?

“When I left, all I could think about was how I couldn’t give you your dream honeymoon because I had to deliver. Then that spiraled to me having to leave you so often and how you deserved to have a husband that you don’t have to FaceTime more than having an actual face to face conversation.” He sighs before his lips curl into a sad smile. “A husband that can buy you everything you deserve. A husband that’s better than me.” Now’s your turn to be the comforter holding his face between your hands so he hopefully feels your next words.

“The materialistic stuff isn’t everything. I want you Ari. And if you said today or tomorrow you were done, I’d look like a fool because I’d still choose you.”

“What about your aunt? And her ‘crystal and plastic’ spiel?”

Since they’re first meeting, your aunt wasn’t a fan of Ari. She felt you should be with someone who was “equally yoked” and matched you in areas like intellect, schooling, and drive to be successful.

Ultimately, it boiled down to him not being rich enough or in a highly sought after career.

“My aunt is a bougie, stuck up, snob who has no say in any aspect of my life. She’s tried to be some role model for me since I’m the baby of the family, but she’s just judgmental and pushy. Literally no one listens to her because she’s so annoying, and I strongly encourage you to do the same honey.” This makes him chuckle gripping your wrists as he leans forward capturing your lips with his. His shoulders noticeably relax with the breath he releases along your skin. Those hypnotizing, blue eyes beginning to appear brighter already as he pecks along your wrists.

“I should’ve told you sooner.”

“Well, now we’re even,” you briefly giggle. “And that’s just another rule for us to add. If something’s on the other’s mind, we get it out. No more bottling things up.”

“Alright deal, and I’m sorry about earlier. Raising my voice like that-,”

“I’m fine bubba, and to be honest..I really liked stern Ari.”

“Oh, you did huh?” Nodding, your hands slide from his cheeks to rest on his pecs shifting to straddle his hips. The air around you immediately shifting to playful and intimate as he grips your thighs biting the corner of his lip. “You like bein’ told what to do?”

“Only by you,” you smirk meeting his waiting mouth in the first passionate kiss you’ve had since all this started. Both of you falling back into that natural rhythm while you happily let him take control. His large hands creep higher, sliding up your dress, until he’s teasingly pulling at your thin panties making you whimper and whine against his swollen lips.

“And what if I told you to lie back and let me tie you to the bed?,” he asks in that deep, sultry voice that’s an octave or two lower than the way he usually speaks. Surely he could feel your slick on the back of his finger before he’s snapping the crotch of your panties against you making an “ow” squeak out of you. “What would you say?”

“Please?” You’re practically panting now watching him unbuckle his belt. “Need you really bad bubba.”

“Aw, I have left my poor gorgeous needy huh?” His lips are on yours again while moving up the bed with you attached to his body until your head hits the pillows. Ari’s mouth moves to your neck attacking that spot you love so much and slipping your dress from your shoulders down low enough to reveal your bare chest - pebbled and needing attention - and white thong. Tying your hands above your head to the wooden headboard, you both pause hearing yelling from your neighbors and the pop of firecrackers just outside your window.

“HAPPY NEW YEAR!,” they yell causing you and Ari to chuckle. Being so wrapped up in the drama of the night, both of you forgot it was even New Years Eve.

“Happy New Year baby,” you softly smile.

“Happy New Year sweetheart,” he smiles leaning down for your lips once more. “Now hopefully they’ll be so distracted with their party they won’t hear us because when I’m done with you gorgeous, you won’t be able to walk until Valentines.”

I guess this is a 2023 astrology overview or something

As we're approaching the new year, I've been thinking a lot not about the passing one, but about the next one... If you could somehow be nostalgic about the future, that would be the feeling I'm getting about 2023. It's some sort of longing mixed with curiosity and something that seems unattainable. But that's exactly what makes my brain go weird... because it is attainable... There ARE new cycles starting next year even if it's hard to wrap my head around it (just think about Pluto being in Aquarius for 20 years. I know. Hard to comprehend).

And as much as I'm sure at some point sooner or later, I'm going to regret my next words, I cannot wait what 2023 has in store.

There's a lot of changes ahead of us, and those changes will be BIG. Starting from Saturn departing from Aquarius after 3 years. And these were a very long 3 years (not just saying that because it was my 1st house transit and that made it feel extra long) but I feel like they were busy and thought-provoking years. Lots of changes in communication (for obvious reasons), the internet, technology and social matters. The collective approach to all these topics changed drastically. And some of which was forced on us. Few months into the pandemic, after seeing the pattern, I said it won't be fully over until Saturn leaves Aquarius. I said that with a big disappointment but somehow we're almost at the end of the transit and the topic is currently mostly not a thing anymore. Like, can we actually take a moment and appreciate that?

I think the keyword for this Saturn in Aquarius transit was: innovation inspired by limitations.

Sure Pluto is going to take over the sign but it's much much slower in its movement, it's not a harsh reality-check in the style of Saturn, it's sneaky and quiet. Aside from the darker qualities it has (and similarly to Saturn it can cause fear), Pluto can be alluring in its power - it's like a Midas touch if it's on your side. But it will bring changes and those changes might be thrilling yet terrifying. Be careful what you wish for because with the new Pluto cycle, if it's affecting your chart, you just might get it. And these are the words I keep hearing when I'm looking at my own chart so I guess that is some sort of an omen for me.

Obviously these are collective energies but with the nodes shifting signs in the middle of the year, and the north node heading into Aries, there will be an emphasis on the individual. It's about taking back your own power and freedom and reevaluating what each of us want from our lives, I'm sure a lot of people will stop and ask themselves, who am I? And if the thing I'm doing truly makes me fullfilled? There might be changes in leaderships as well. People may become more selfish but sometimes selfishness is required if you want to live a happy drama-free life. With the south node in Libra, people may realize it's actually a relationship with a certain person that is blocking them from happiness, so there might be a lot of goodbyes next year... goodbyes that leave space for new connections - and if you're into the idea of south node symbolising past lives - maybe even a beneficial past live connection? (Maybe that's why I said I'm feeling the sense of nostalgia from 2023?)

(PSA: beware of the nasty people from the past from this lifetime during Venus retrograde tho)

And as the north node departs from Taurus and leaves the mess that it made along with Uranus (that will no longer square Saturn), let's hope Jupiter ingressing into the sign will smooth things out a bit. Now Uranus is still there so that won't fix all the issues but I'm hoping there's going to be less of a "shortage of this and that and the crops are dying cause there's war and the gas is too expensive and oh, let's scare people there's going to be shortages of power during the winter and btw we're gonna make your electricity bills super high so there's that" bullshit and more of a "let's just chill and have some amazing food and maybe lay naked in bed cause we have everything we want" type of Jupiter party. That'd be nice. But first Jupiter is going to speed through Aries and give us all the awesome and exciting energy we all need to get us back on our feet.

And back to Saturn, Pisces folks, buckle up cause that can be like a bucket of cold water for you. Not the type of a swim you like but on the bright side, this can potentially bring a bit of a structure into the sloppy and disorganized side of you (yes I just called you sloppy, soz), it can also bring your abstract ideas into a tangible thing. Just don't loose your jupiterian hope and enthusiasm in all of this even if Saturn will try to break your fragile little heart. And we all shouldn't, as Pisces' jupiterian cousin (that is, Sagittarius) I want to remind everyone that there is a way to keep your rose-colored glasses and still have ideas that are grounded in reality, the key is to wisely assess your situation and work on whatever you have in mind and want to achieve. Use the Saturn energy. Also use all the jupiterian things if you want - being aware of astrology or divination is an advantage after all and having Saturn in Pisces can help give us clearer and more black and white answers when using these methods.

And on that (hopefully) uplifting note, happy 2023.

2023 personal highlights

started the year doing a really nice trip that somehow helped me clear thoughts about my future

I got accepted into the masters degree I wanted which also gave me the chance to meet so many cool people and make so many good friends <3

I've been able to draw soooooooo much - my arm is doing sooo much better

got a tattoo I really wanted! got that flash design in my mind for a while and it's finally on me

this year was so hard for me and my family and it was such a challenge. I'm so proud we could manage through it all, and hopefully this year is easier on us

The user can control anyone’s emotions if they touch them for more than 3 seconds. This usually affects the other person in terms of control and focus, depending on the user's emotion. Backstory :

Kisumi’s biological mother died when Kisumi was only 8 months old, leaving her to spend her childhood in an orphanage. Despite her situation, she always kept a smile on her face and saw the bright side to everything. Until one day, a couple came into the orphanage looking to adopt. Almost instantly, they noticed this bright, smiley girl coloring with a plate of half-eaten pudding next to her. The then 5 year old Kisumi had been approached and rejected many times so she was almost comically shocked when two adults came up to her, asking about what she was coloring. Kisumi and the couple spent a long time talking and playing, they knew she was the kid for them. When the couple asked how she would feel about being adopted, her smile fell. At that point, no one has seen Kisumi without her smile. She believed she was dreaming, until the older woman gently pinched her cheek. This was real. She would have a family and a home she could call her own. Then, she bursted into tears. Kisumi is forever grateful for the life she has and continues to be the smiley and happy person she is.

Happy New Year Ari! Part 2: The Proposal

18+ only just incase

No warning minus Ari Levinson lol ita a whole Lotta fluff I'm trying to post this quickly before the Holiday is over- I think its still light in Cali requested by @hawkeyes-queen who wanted to see the proposal so I'll fix mistakes later

Ari couldnt wait to get out of Temple. He kept stealing glances at his hopefully soon-to-be- fiance. But all this standing up and sitting down a zillion times was not what he had planned for today well sort of. But just getting down and up once. Hopefully lighter.

Ari practically had to twist her arm to go to the beach.

"It's gunna be cold"

"I'll keep you warm"

"Sand gets everywhere its so hard to get out or off."

"I'll help you"

That one made her laugh him getting sand off her feet and out from between her toes -now this she had to see. But, she finally agreed only because Ari had wanted to so much. But she did insist they change out of thier holiday clothes they wore to Temple. Which he agreed. It wook her longer to change then him and he had spent the extra time phasing himself up in front of the mirror and telling himself its fine. And it'll all be fine. Ari almost never planned things out minus getting the initial idea-but this he did- intact he planned to a T. And no back up plan but this wouldn't need one.

"So is it me or did it seem like Temple was even longer than yesterday?"

She laughed at Ari's joke

"You say that every year said yesterday you seemed even longer last year."

"It did."

"I rembember how long it seemed when I was little it was like 5 hours," she laughed "And that was the child friendly family service."

He was holding her left hand and everything, so far was going as planned.

"So why you want to go to to the beach so suddenly"

"No reason." He didn't plan on her asking that but he should of he looked at where with the reflection of the sub off the sea giving her such a gorgeous ethereal look. Making him so happy and he relax.

"What is going on with you?"

"Nothing " he said swinging thier arms with a happy tune to his words

"Somethings I will never understand about you Ari Levinson" she laughed.

There was a moment of silence which panicked Ari. The only thing going through his mind was: don't panic don't panic she loves you don't panic don't panic you love her don't panic don't panic she already said I do so don't panic.

"Ari? Did you hear me."

"Hu no sorry."

"Its ok. Come 'ere let me feel your head you're sweating."

"I'm fine"

"Ari there's a cold breeze and you're sweating."

"I promise you I'm fine," He brought the hand he was holding up to his mouth for a kiss.

"Ok," she said suspiciously."You know this was actually a really good idea.

"You know I love you right?"

"I do " she sing sung the words

"Wait Ethan not sending you-"

"No. No. I promise. Actually No more missions in general."

"Are you serious?"

"Yea," he said with a smile.

"Ari!" She stopped walking and grabbed him for a big hug and a big but sweet kiss.

"Best surprise ever! You have no idea how happy that makes me!" She kissed him.

"I wouldn't be so sure about that" he said under his breath but she heard him.

"Ari?"

"So you know how I love you."

"Ari you just asked me. That you sure your ok."

"I am better than ok"

"I love you everything about you" he said her head dropped to blush and Ari had stopped walking and her hand was tugged she had stopped and turn to him.

"I love everything about you the way you smile in the morning when you just wake up."

"I do?"

" Mhmm. The way your brown eyes turn honey gold when when the sun hit them they turn a golden green. I love how no matter what you always try and give everyone a compliment everyday"

"Its just being nice"

"No its not. Baby. There is no one like you. I thank God every day for you. You have such a good heart a good soul. You love making people smile and you make me so happy. God I am screwing this up."

She still didnt understand.

"Whenever I'm with you I'm so happy I-I feel drunk. I love your little thing about you. I've never been this much never felt so much for someone I- ok I swear I had an actual better speech but.. I love you so much.."

"I love you too Ari."

"I cant imagine myy life without you.. I dont rembember life before you.. it's like.. like it was a whole diffrent life time.. but I dont want to know life without you."

He started to get down on one knee

"You are everything to me."

A she gasped and put her free hand over her mouth nodding yes As he pulled out the ring box with his free hand..

And I want your face to be the first thing I see in the morning and the last thing I see at night. I want to grow old with you I want to have a family with you I want everything with you because well I... I just... it's nothing without you.. my life was so empty and lonely and thats all I rembember. But like I said it seems a whole lifetime ago. Before you. Before us. Now ...with you....life is just perfect. It's everything I want except one thing. And I want to start the new year off right. So will you make me the happiest man in the world and be my wife?" He was fighting off tears like she was. She couldnt even speak. She nodded.

So thats a yes?

She could only nodded.

"Please say yes baby" Ari had longed to hear her say: 'Yes I'll marry you.' But right now given how emotionally they both are he just wanted to hear Yes.

Yes!

Yes?

Yes! YES Ari Levinson I'll Marry you.

Ari beemed and he grabbed the ring dropping the box but neither cared.

He got up and pulled her into a deep and loving kiss.

Is this why you've been acting so weird why you and my dad have been acting weird.

Uea. Well you are his youngest and the only girl so-"

Ari!

"I really did have a speech but I uh winged it just saying how I feel looking at you."

"Ooh Ari" her hands on his beard.

She gave him another kiss.

Then she turned to the side away from the ocean

"Thank you max for the photos"

"Your welcome congratulations" he yelled back.

"How'd you know?"

"Cause I know you. I know you'd want photos and you know how I feel about wanting photos of things and...well he is a sharpshooter spy I figured he'd be the only one you'd ask."

"I can't believe we're getting married."

"I can't believe you said yes" Max Yelled.

"No comments from the peanut gallery." She yelled back. "God if he has any daughters I feel bad for them. We might have to hide them in our basement."

Ari laughed with her.

But then for the first time she looked down at the ring I mean really looked.

Stopping in her tracks.

It was a fairly large cushion cut stone she assumed a diamond but couldnt care less that has the lightest touch of blush pink, and when the light caught it turned into a beautiful pink and the sun had shone through it to make a rainbow on the sand. Around it were small stones. She gasped. Ari took in everything from just slightly to her side be he had taken a few steps back and wrapped his arms around her.

"You like it?" He smiled. Already knowing the answer.

"I love it. It is the most beautiful thing I have ever. I mean Ari you. I. I'm" she had no words.

"Thats how I feel when I look at you." He wispered.

She pulled him in a loving deep kiss.

Energy Update: March 2023

March is a "1" Universal Month [3 (March) + 7 (2023) = 10 = 1+0 = 1] in a "7" Universal Year. 1 is the number of beginnings but this is a 10/1 - this is the type of beginning that only comes after great trials and hardships. Rejoice (in a way) - you made it to the other side. Maybe you even beat the bad guy. This is also signified through the astrology of the month as Saturn, our planet of responsibility transits from the fixed air sign of Aquarius into the mutable water sign of Pisces. This is a big gong crash that demarcates time as we experience it. Something is over. The Set Up

We begin the month with the Sun and Neptune in Pisces, Mercury and Saturn in Aquarius, Venus Jupiter and Chiron in Aries, Mars in Gemini, Uranus and the North Node in Taurus, and Pluto in Capricorn. All of our planets will travel in forward motion all month long - it is go time. We will experience a number of planetary ingresses this month, the most notable of which is the aforementioned switcharoo of Saturn from a sign that it traditionally ruled (Aquarius) to the utter wilds of Pisces. Saturn entered Aquarius on March 21, 2020 and has been a major player in the last three years of our life. Saturn is a planet that is already quite hidebound and it can become deeply locked into place when transiting a fixed sign. That so many of us were stuck at home for months as Saturn entered Aquarius was no coincidence. This transit is going to be a huge release of energy - circle 3/7/2023 on your calender.

Additionally, we experience the expected personal planetary movements. Our sun will enter Aries as the astrological year is reborn at the spring equinox on 3/20 and Venus enters her home sign of Taurus on 3/15. Mercury is moving fast and enters Aquarius on 3/2 and moves on to Pisces on 3/19. Additionally, after a full retrograde cycle, Mars enters Cancer on 3/25.

The Nitty Gritty

This is definitely a new beginning but it may happen in stages as the planets all step into place to play their parts. The lunar nodes are in play as those close-moving personal planets (Sun, Mercury, Venus) move along - the South node will be activated in trine as they transit Pisces and the North Node in conjunction as they continue on to transit Taurus during the spring. Some of us may be held back by the things that we haven't offloaded, if that's you - do the work and let that shit go.

Our big days are: 3/2, 3/6, 3/7, 3/20. 3/21, 3/25

Any one of these days are huge power days that can be harnessed for many types of magic. Do the work on yourself and the energy will be doubled. This is the planetary "right time" to make a change in your life (whatever that means for you). If you work with this energy and use it to your advantage, there is less chance that you will be at the mercy of it.

This is a month that sort of demands that you put one foot in front of the other, always moving forward, to do the work. But we may have less incentive as Saturn transits into Pisces.

Pisces is just so damn dreamy. And no, I don't mean it in a "He's a dreamboat" /hystericalscreaming sort of way. I mean in the chronically avoids reality by creating intricate fantasy worlds sort of way. That's all well and good if you're an author of any kind but if you're just a human and you are locking your Others in your stories, well, we know that can become problematic, right? Right?!? Saturn is a dose of realism that even a Pisces can't hide from. This could be a good thing. We all have seen the rise in "misinformation" (let's just through that whole thing into one big blob, I'm not even going to try and define it more - all mutable mush here) that Neptune has inspired through its Piscean travels these past years. But the people whose bubbles are about to get burst aren't going to be super happy about it. In Pisces season, it's really easy to get stuck in the mud. We can all get a little bit dysregulated when forced to confront the things that we are hiding from, so maybe cut the Others a bit of slack and we are all going to have to endure these transits. We are all travelers on this planet together even when we don't want to admit to it.

Venus, who is leading the way ahead of the Sun and Mercury at the moment, will start the month conjunct to Jupiter and Chiron in Aries and end the month conjunct with Uranus in Taurus. There is pain close to the surface but this time around it looks like it may be there to compel change. In between these, she meets up in conjunction with the North Node and we get a brief glimpse into eclipse season and her future retrograde cycle in July.

The Virgo full moon on 3/7 will bring in the energy of Uranus in Taurus and happen on the same day that Saturn enters Pisces. This is the perfect day to set intentions around making changes (Uranus) that will improve your life (moon in Virgo). Leave an offering to sky-daddy Saturn to add some extra oomph.

Stay aware of your actions around 3/12-3/14. People may be betting beyond their capacity (Jupiter conjunct Chiron) or a past indulgence may come back to bite you in the ass. Mars in Gemini is also square to Neptune in Pisces for the third and final time as part of his retrograde cycle. Have you learned to just own up to it and tell the truth yet? Nah, I didn't think so...

Mars in Gemini shirks his lessons, that's for sure. He seems to get away with it though, so?

The Sun and Mercury are involved, too. They may shine enough light on the situation to illuminate it despite Gemini and Pisces's best attempts at looking in the other direction. Beware the Ides of March? I've mostly just wanted to be able to say that but its also not wrong.

A story is coming unraveled. I hope that it's not one of yours. I'd watch the media around the middle of the month - there could be a big reveal (or two).

At the same time, Venus slips into Taurus which would normally come as a relief but the beginning of Taurus is pretty weighty at the moment. She immediately falls into a sextile with Saturn which is quite constraining and then meets up in conjunction with our North Node of fate. Normally the party begins when Venus enters Taurus but this transit may be quite austere in the beginning. You may what to keep an eye on expenses during this time - especially if you're prone to excessiveness in that regard.

Venus conjuncts the North Node on the new moon on the first full day of the astrological new year - this is highly auspicious, again, for intention setting on new beginnings. Harness the energy of the spring towards your new projects. Work with Sun magic or seed magic for enhanced effectiveness during this time.

A few days later, on 3/25, Mars ends his long stay in Gemini by entering Cancer. If you haven't managed it before now (I get it...no judgment, starting things can be hard) this is another chance to start again and set new intentions. It's spring - time to go and time to grow.

BEY SPIRIT AND THEIR BLADER INTERACTIONS LETS GET TO IT

Of course I had to start with my favorite crackhead, Ryuga, so let’s get chatting. Out of everyone, even Gingka, Ryuga has the strongest and deepest connection with his bey spirit. The reason for this is because Ryuga and L-drago have practically gone through the same toils throughout their life. They both came into a new life, being manipulated into an evil position by greedy people who only wanted to use them for power, and in the process they ended up being taken over by their guardians' desires. At first they didn’t like each other, but during L-drago’s transformation in metal masters into Meteo L-drago, Ryuga was able to realize that both he and L-drago were in a way abused, and with that painful realization they bonded. Ever since then Ryuga has been completely reliant on L-drago for years, and it’s the same way with L-drago. Ryuga’s bond is especially important to him, as before he didn’t really have an outlet to communicate to others openly and always struggled with doing so. This ties into my personal HC that he’s autistic, but you could honestly take it with him being NT as well. The fact of the matter is that beyblade is practically the only thing that allows him to share how he's feeling with another person without using words, which is why he and L-drago get along so much in the first place. They don’t speak with words. They let their emotions do the talking, even when one of them is overwhelmed. A side note to this I feel like L-Drago would help Ryuga with bouts of overstimulation from his environment kind of like a service dog would, sticking his gigantic lizard head in between his arms so he doesn’t pull at his hair or hurt himself, stuff like that. Might have to draw it soon now that I have the idea.

Gingka and Pegasus’ relationship on the other hand is much more chill. I like to picture it as the sort of ‘he’s my coworker and he is absolutely amazing, he makes every moment better’ relationship, but I feel like it’s much more chaotic than that. Gingka loves verbally ranting about whatever battles he looks forward to, and it goes in sort of a two way streak where they both are fired up about a battle, with one fueling the other's joy. Though Pegasus started out as a more stoic spirit when he was with Ryo, Gingka has really made him open up and show his fun and happy side. Sometimes Pegasus just comes out randomly from his bey and just sort of walks alongside him. I feel like they might just break out into a racing contest every once and a while when this happens.

Despite his scary looking demeanor, Kyoya’s bey spirit is actually quite sensitive outside of fights. This hc is mostly based off of andro-Dino’s art depicting Leon being all snuggly to Kyoya, and honestly I couldn’t agree more with the interpretation. It took Leon a little while until he fully trusted Kyoya again after his fight with Gingka which almost led to him hurting himself and Leon, but near the end of metal fusion they reconciled and became friends again. Leon will rattle its bey in order to let Kyoya to let him out and let him stretch. Most of the time though, he just wants a good couple of pets. Leon’s almost ironic sweet nature is perfect for Kyoya, reminding him not only to take care of his bey spirit, but also himself. Kyoya will rant to him about literally ALL the tea. Leon could RUIN some lives if he wanted to.

Aries’ relationship with Hyoma would mostly be just making sure he doesn’t die. Whether it be going on a simple hike, or literally saving his ditzy ass from an avalanche, Aries is always there for him. Definitely probably is sort of a ‘mom’ friend, and is very very protective of Hyoma ever since the battle with Reiji. They have a deep bond that is mostly expressed through battling, and much like Ryuga, he and Aries don’t rely on words to express their affection to each other. Aries has been with Hyoma since he was little, and though he’s gotten older and stronger, a part of Aries worries about him a lot, seeing him still as the little boy that picked him up years ago. Aries definitely encourages Hyoma to be himself, allowing him to knock on his horns as a way of stimming. Honestly so much of their friendship would just be so wholesome.

Tsubasa’s friendship with Eagle is a little bit more modest than most. Earth eagle is a little more reserved than most of the spirits, his serious demeanor coinciding with Tsubasa’s. However, ever since they overcame the bout with the Dark power they were able to become a little closer and have become more relaxed within the presence of one another. Sometimes Tsubasa will summon Eagle out on a nice, cool night out in the woods and ask if he would like to join him in gazing at the stars. Eagle agrees almost 100 percent of the time. Eagle brings him fish and trinkets whenever he’s upset.

While Yu doesn’t have an actual embodiment of a bey beast, it is still very much there. Libra is more like a concentration of feelings, ever changing and not needing form. Libra reflects the strength and overall joy that Yu feels in battle, so they don’t NEED a form to express Yu’s power. However, I think somewhere down the line as Yu maybe matures a little and gets even stronger alongside his friends, I feel like his Bey spirit would take the form of a bat, specifically a Masked Flying Fox, though a vampire bat would be a pretty cool spirit too. Yu and his bey always have fun together. Honestly Libra’s only friend is Yu, so he is always super excited to hang with him. It doesn’t matter what they are doing, talking, battling, or even eating, Libra is all for it. Much like Yu, Libra is the sunshine child of the bey beast group.

Kenta and Saggitario’s relationship is very best friends chill buddies. I would call them homies but that implies that they make an infinite amount of chaos together which rarely happens. Saggitario is a little more gentle with Kenta though he isn’t as protective as Aries. It’s kind of like ‘the kid can handle himself most of the time, but no matter what happens I’m gonna support him and make sure both of us come out safe’. I think when Kenta joined up with Ryuga Saggitario was a little nervous and scared himself, but he was mostly confident in Kenta’s determination that he knew he could do it. Since then I feel like L-Dragon and Saggitario kind of have a good(???) relationship. Like I guess you could call them friends, but again, like Ryuga, L-drago is a little bit hard to get out of his shell so Saggitario mostly just keeps a comfortable distance while still being nice. Saggitario used to give Kenta rides back to his parents when he hurt himself training when he was REALLY REALLY tiny, and to thank him Kenta used to leave him fruit snacks to eat when he was away (I know that bey spirits can’t eat but just imagine it okay it would be so so cute)
