college!luke castellan doesn’t care about hickies.

of course, his frat brothers tease them relentlessly, but he does nothing to rebate the suggestions from most that they were from you. it wasn’t any secret that you and him had been fucking—casually, of course, he didn’t have time for relationships—for some time now, but it always left you a little jarred when he would be so open to the display of red bites left splayed on his neck.

“won’t they see?” you ask a bit dumbly after luke asks you to mark him through passionate kisses. rudely—your friends thought—he’d pulled you away from the dining hall with no explanation other than ‘needing you’.

“what?” he says, slightly breathless from kissing. the question had taken him aback because, had he not made it clear by now?

“won’t your friends see the… you know?” the sheepish tone in your voice elicits a deep chuckle from luke before he presses his lips against your neck, not hard enough to create hickies just yet, but not exactly gently either. “you want the truth, princess?” your eyebrows furrow a little dumbly but you nod with curiosity. “i think you love seeing ‘em on me, and you love when people know they’re from you,” he says. “and you know i don’t care if anyone sees. i know you know me better than that, don’t you, baby?” luke’s timbre is so low, so arousing and you can hardly keep the needy whimper in.

you just nod, no more doubt within you as you trail kisses down his scar, to his jaw, down to his neck and collarbone. the satisfied groans you elicit from him as you find that spot on his throat sends you in a daze almost immediately. his lips catch yours again before he flips the both of you over, settling on his knees in front of you.

luke’s mouth is everywhere, nibbing at the surface of your skin, laving his tongue over the fresh ache. his strong hands pulling your shorts and panties down in one go. “gonna mark you here,” he says, catching the plush flesh of your inner thigh between his teeth, sucking on the area and conjuring a livid stain on your skin.

he forges more and more red marks onto your skin before he finally puts his mouth on your neediest place. luke’s suctions his lips around your clit, forcing a choked gasp from you and a hand flying down onto his head. he groans against you as your back arches and your fingers tangle in his hair, tightening and tugging. he works hard, like he’s being paid to eat you out, but really, he knows he would pay to die between your thighs.

just as luke’s tongue pushes it’s way into your sopping hole, you feel that blissfully hot, white, sensation swim over and past you. your thighs are most likely suffocating luke, but he doesn’t seem to mind, or even notice really.

his tongue fucks you through your orgasm, and upon coming down from your high, luke’s head rises from your middle.

Luke Castellan, admittedly, did not expect you to have such a fire lit within you

It was you who came up to him and suggested the two of you should spar sometime in the afternoon before dinner

Luke analyzed you, up and down, for longer than you would have liked before agreeing with a cheeky, yet inquisitive grin

He went into the sparring session with a preconceived notion that this was just gonna be a quick one-on-one training session with you — more training, less sparring.

Oh boy, was he wrong!

You showed up with your weapons of choice — your charming smile and your shining aura.

And your sword, too.

Stretching out your limbs, you couldn't help but notice the nonchalant nature of Luke. You quirked an eyebrow.

"Seem pretty relaxed, Castellan," you said, with a challenging edge to your voice. "Woke up on the right side of the cot or what?"

Luke, ever the show-off, flipped his sword around and gave you another cheeky grin. "Just feelin' good, today, I guess," he told you. "Ready when you are?"

It happened in a flash. The two of you engaged in harmless one-on-one combat: dodging, parrying, whipping your bodies around to catch the other off guard, etc.

And then it happened.

You were just too quick for Luke.

When he had his back turned to you mid-spin, your prior training and reflexes kicked in and you pushed him to the ground.

Gently, of course

With a natural swagger, you pressed your foot in between his shoulder blades to hold him down and pressed your sword to the side of his neck.

You were barely even breathing heavy

Luke, however, blindsided by the biggest surprised of the day, just laid there on the dirty, eyebrows furrowed in confusion...

...and embarrassment.

You clicked your tongue and shook your head. "Oof, Castellan," you cooed, mockingly. "Have to admit, not your best performance. However, I am willing to let you try again next time, because I'm such a nice girl,"

Taking your foot off his back, you offer him your hand to help him up.

But instead, Luke stood up on his own, brushing off the dirt and the leaves off of his orange camp shirt.

He gave you a slight scowl. "Next time, I won't go so easy on you,"

You grin at him, eyes sparkling and skin glowing under the afternoon sun.

"I look forward to it, Castellan,"

Six WIPs Wuesday

yes. you heard me. six.

you might want to prepare for a whiplash

when I say I'm rotating my ocs and stories in my head, I mean it in a 'running sushi' type of way. anyways. I only have a few sentences for each work, so I hope it's not too overwhelming lol

first things first, laurie (fc5)

As she arrives at the church, Laurie hears the sound of voices coming from the inside. Muffled. They’re singing. Amazing Grace. Wonderful. Returning to the hell she thought she had escaped all these years ago. The lullaby she heard before the lights went off and the night turned red.

shireen (star wars)

She feels everything at once and yet nothing at all. As if something is trying to fill an ever empty void. For years upon years. And she is now experiencing the aftermath of it. It is strange. It feels as though she has awoken from a year’s long slumber.

paz (cod)

In hopes of shedding the skin she couldn’t stand to look at anymore. The scars being the reward she received for the atrocities she had to commit for the people who fed her with nothing but cruelty. The acts of violence she doesn’t even remember.

Rapid movement of the blanket forces her to slowly open her eyes. Before she realizes where she actually is, something slips under the blanket and practically leeches onto her. Paz rubs her eyes and then opens them fully, looking right into Simon’s brown ones. They’re at home. In their bed. And...

She puts an arm around the little one who just joined them. Looking down at him, she spots the dark brown locks.

“Luke.”

At the mention of his name, Lucero looks up at her.

“Bad dream?”, Simon asks, sleep still present in his voice.

He frowns but doesn’t answer. After a moment he turns around and nods slightly.

Adrian looks at her for a moment. He opens his mouth, but no words follow. His eyes dart up to Rose who is shaking her head at him.

“Mommy’s violently shaking her head, so I guess that means no.”

“This is a map of Gotham”, Edmund says while pointing at the slide.

As Kaia realizes that he made a whole power point presentation for his silly schemes, she sighs and mutters “my god” under her breath.

With a click of the remote he changes to the next slide. The map of Gotham again, but this one’s full of scribbles and doodles. Green question marks are scattered all over it. The banks are marked with red circles. Some locations have blue crosses over them. Well, at least he did his homework.

The designs for the Alphabet Soup cast! Here's a quick run-through of their heights, ages, birthdays, personalities, and routes. (You may note that some have extra names, and that is because I forgot to make them gnc designs for some of the characters and have yet to update it). I plan to do introduction posts for all of them but that will take some time. Quick note the MC will be 25 so keep that in mind when looking at character ages.

Abeni/Aatos Stoll: 5' 8.6"/174.244 cm, 23, January 27th, A is upbeat, energetic, and very social. They're one of your classmates at college and as you get to know them more you learn just how much pressure their parents are putting on them.

Bea/Benjamin/Bailey Skinner: 5' 7.5"/171.45 cm, 27, November 12th, B is polite, mindful, and remembers everything. Another one of your classmates that after lending them a pencil you become good friends, when you realize you're B's only friend you have to wonder why.

Cassandra (Cassie)/Cooper/Charlie Menzie: 5' 4.5"/163.83 cm, 29, September 9th, C is laid back, curious, and patient. They work at the gas station you frequent, and they also seem oblivious to your crush. How can you get them to notice you?

Dapisha Grimm: 5' 6.7"/169.418 cm, 26, April 25th, D is blunt, sweet, and a little shy. She volunteers at the company you work for, do you help her realize her dream or do you let her remain the same?

Esme/Eugene/Emery Francis: 5' 0"/152.4 cm, 23, March 14th, E is protective, brash, and overworked. You first see them at the gas station and then you notice them at all their other jobs, what made them so gruff and why are they working so much?

Fiona/Finn/Francis Richard: 5' 7"/170.18 cm, 29, April 20th, F is hard-working, professional, and organized. You meet at a fundraiser your work throws that they write an article for, their best friend then starts to meddle and has you two meet up a bunch.

Georgie Abel: 6' 0.5"/184.15 cm, 30, May 8th, G is considerate, rich, and determined. They are the manager and event planner for your company, you've worked with them a bunch and might like them as more than a coworker... but they're your boss? What to do.

Hayden Bauer: 6' 0"/182.88 cm, 22, May 21st, H is wistful, nature-y, and a total nerd. He volunteers for an event at your company and spends most of it working with you, at the end he gives you his number, will you discover the sad past of this man?

Ihab Pau: 5' 3"/160.02 cm, 22, July 11th, I is funny, sentimental, and creative. She goes to your college and has an apprenticeship at the jewelry shop you frequent, it's hard not to fall for someone so charming.

Julia/Jacenty/Jay Andrews: 5' 9.5"/176.53 cm, 27, June 1st, J is flirty, confident, and adventurous. You meet them at the jewelry shop and after chatting they give you their number, what else is there to this stranger (if anything)?

Kaia/Kai/Kaipo Nilsen: 5' 6"/167.64 cm, 25, January 3rd, K is a tease, put-together, and welcoming. You've been going to school with K since first grade, that's why it was so surprising to find yourself crushing on them now, are you ready to risk your friendship for love?

Lark/Luke/Loren Young: 5' 9"/175.26 cm, 25, January 10th, L is a DIYer, honest, and straightforward. You've been friends with them just as long as K, they used to confess their love to you all the time as kids and only now as an adult do you feel the same, but has L grown out of their infatuation?

Melody/Milo/Madison Kelly: 5' 10"/177.8 cm, 26, October 30th, M is competitive, playful, and smug. Rivals to lovers, you met M in high school and you were happy when he ended up working for the same company as you, now the shenanigans can continue, but something about your rival feels different.

Narith Polaris: 5' 5.8"/167.132 cm, 24, June 9th, N is optimistic, stubborn, and friendly. They work at the library you go to when working on college HW she's really nice and helpful and since befriending them you find yourself at the library more and more.

Ofir (Ollie) Vargas: 6' 3"/190.5 cm, 29, October 5th, O is guarded, loyal, and Indecisive. They followed their friend to a fundraiser event at your work and you caught their attention, after spending the event with you they gave you their number in exchange for keeping them entertained. (I hate their design and it will change do not get attached)

Penny/Pierce/Page Hoffman: 5' 11"/180.34 cm, 25, September 26th, P is athletic, dedicated, and focused. An athlete at your college suddenly starts showing up around your work, they must know someone there, and after a while of running into each other you start to get better acquainted.

Quin/Quentin Stoll: 5' 5"/165.1 cm, 24, November 17th, Q is odd, capable, and prepared. While you're at the gas station your bag breaks, another perfect punch on an awful day, and then this mysterious stranger pulls out a sewing kit and patches it up enough to last till home. Who is this angel and how can you thank them?

Rada/Radek Werner: 5' 2.5"/158.75 cm, 28, August 17th, R is quiet, comforting, and responsible. This pretty stranger who works at the coffee shop is surprisingly at your work's fundraiser event, you say hi and get to chatting, and from then on you greet each other like friends.

Savannah/Samuel (Sammie)/Salem Carpenter: 5' 5.4"/166.116 cm, 28, March 7th, S is tired, apathetic, and unmotivated. They work at your favorite coffee shop and when they pass out after clocking out you insist on taking them to the ER. After that, you start paying way more attention to them.

Tavani Hood: 5' 4"/162.56 cm, 24, December 23rd, T is sulky, immature, and dependable. He's always in the park with his sketchbook out, in fact, you have a game when you go to the park and it's to see if you can spot him. You start talking to him and he shows you his work until he gets protective and secretive over it, what could he be drawing that he can't show you?

Ulyssa/Ulysses Klein: 6' 1"/185.42 cm, 23, April 18th, U is earnest, bashful, and talkative. They work at the library and they always ask you what you're working on, you can't help but notice how adorable and bashful they are. So what will you do with that information?

Veronica/Vincent/Val Bourne: 5' 8"/172.72 cm, 25, February 6th, V is wary and critical, but tolerant of you. You've known V since middle school and you never knew what you did to earn their trust but seeing how you're still their only 'friend' you're determined to get closer to them and maybe even get them more friends or acquaintances.

Willow/William (Bill)/Winter Morrison: 5' 11.5"/181.61 cm, 33, December 19th, W is watchful, sly, and respectful. W is a serial killer and they can't be fixed. You run into them at the park, or well more accurately their dog runs right into you. They quickly apologize and have a lovely conversation with you after that whenever they see you in the park they talk to you. They've always been kind that's why you couldn't help but be shocked when learning of their dark secret.

Xanthe/Xavier/Xan Thomas 5' 3.5"/161.29 cm, 22, February 2nd, X is handy, obsessed, and jealous. X is a yandere route they can't be fixed. X goes to your college and is in some of your classes, you help them with directions once and after that you swear you see them everywhere.

Yazmin/Yanis Vlanos: 5' 9.8"/177.292 cm, 26, July 4th, Y is famous, awkward, and conscientious of themself. You meet them at the jewelry shop and really hit it off, it's only after meeting and exchanging numbers that you learn they're a pretty popular up-and-coming artist.

Zoe/Zander Cohen: 5' 2"/157.48 cm, 20, August 13th, Z is cheeky, geeky, and persistent. Your cousin moves to the city for college so you throw them a welcoming party and meet her best friend Z, this was apparently a mistake because now this brat (affectionate) won't leave you alone. But you won't date your baby cousin's friend, right?

RULES

1. i mainly write for she/her reader. i will do they/them reader. i might do he/him reader, but i'm not very good at it.

2. i always do y/n for imagines. i will take requests of course, but not with specific names. i try to have y/n be described as little as possible meaning no names and no specific traits. i want my writing to be able to let people imagine themselves.

3. if a celebrity or character is not listed as someone i write for, just ask! i can't promise i will write for everyone, but i will let you know!

4. i do not give anyone permission to copy or repost my work on here or any other websites. no translations either! likes and reblogs are greatly appreciated, but no stealing!!!

5. this is a safe space for everyone! so please no discrimination of any kind! if you are rude and disrespectful you will be blocked!

Second Chances (Dad!Cal One Shot)

*this is pure fluff, I got this idea just randomly one day so I wrote it down, I just wanted to have some fun with it, I know I haven’t posted in a while but I should hopefully have more time to start writing now, I’m also not sure if I want to keep this as a one shot or make a series out of it, so if you guys have any ideas for me for this dad!cal, don’t be afraid to tell me, anyways enjoy (2.3k)

He was tired.

Calum had been running around all day doing promo for their latest album. It wasn’t easy, especially if you have a six-year-old attached to your hip 24/7. Kaia was filled with more than enough energy to go around. The whole band had been up since six in the morning, but Kaia has yet to feel even slightly sleepy.

The twenty-five-year-old dad had made a promise to his daughter that morning, that if she were good all day, he would take her to go get her nails done professionally. Ever since she saw uncle Lukes red nails, she’s wanted hers done too. He’s starting to regret that already because truth be told he just wants to go to bed.

But he kept his promise which is what led him and his little girl walking into a quaint little nail salon at around seven o’clock at night. Probably later than she should be staying up for but its obvious she wasn’t going to be tired any time soon.

The salon was empty of customers, the only person visible he could see, was someone tidying up. Was this place closed? He thought to himself, but there was no closed sign on the door.

The bell rung signaling that someone had entered the store. Gwen turned around to find a rather attractive tall, tanned skinned man with dark curly hair, holding onto, who she could only assume to be the man’s daughters, small hand. She paused what she was doing and set down her cloth as she walked towards them.

‘Hi, is there anything I could do for you’ she smiled politely.

Calum cleared his throat as he looked at the absolute beauty in front of him. Her voice was so soft and delicate. She had long and thick curly hair, freckles adorning her makeup free face and the prettiest green eyes he’s ever seen. She was almost a foot shorter than him as he looked down at her and caught a glimpse of her name tag.

‘Gwen’ he thought to himself. It suited her.

His daughters excited voice pulled him out of his trance as she spoke up. ‘My daddy’s letting me get my nails done. He promised me that if I was good all day, he would let me’ she said rapidly.

Calum looked up at the girl in front of him ‘You aren’t closed right?’ he asked, hoping he wouldn’t let down his daughter.

Gwen was surprised at his deep voice, she could sense a slight accent in there. Technically she was about to close, but she wasn’t going to turn them away. She smiled at the two and shook her head ‘I think I can make an acception for you two, follow me over here’ she said as she lead them towards the back.

Kaia’s eyes lit up when she spotted a pink manicure chair, covered in butterflies and hearts. ‘Have a seat’ Gwen said to the little girl. Kaia eagerly climbed onto the chair, the look of pure excitement never leaving her face.

Gwen turned to the energetic girl’s father ‘You can have a seat right there if you’d like’ she told him while pointing to a chair a beside hers. He nodded quietly, not saying anything as he took a seat beside her. She pulled out a bin under the table with an array of different nail colors for the little girl to choose from. Her eyes got even bigger in size once she sees all the polish.

‘Now, you can pick any color from this box, and maybe later we can add some sparkles to finish it off’ Gwen told her as her smile widened at the sight of the little girl.

Calum was watching them both intently, interacting with one another. Kaia, of course reached for the bright red color to match her uncle’s nails.

‘Red huh, this is a beautiful color’ she said. Kaia nodded and grinned as she spoke excitedly ‘My uncle Luke has red nails, I wanted to match with him’, Gwen nearly melted at what she’d just said.

‘Daddy’ a small voice called. Calum blinked rapidly before looking at his little girl. ‘You should get your nails done too, uncle Luke said you guys used to go all the time’ she beamed and continued to look at her nails being painted.

Gwen turned to look at him, wondering what his response would be. She wouldn’t mind doing his nails, especially if she got to be closer to him. The father was quiet, before a small smile made its way onto his face. ‘Sure, why not’ he shrugged ‘You good with that’ he asked Gwen wanting to make sure she was ok with it, especially since she was probably supposed to be closed already.

She smiled happily and nodded ‘I’m good with that’.

It seemed odd to Calum that he knew her name, but she didn’t know his, so his next move was quite bold on his part. ‘My name is Calum’ he blurted out. Gwen giggled, not trying to b rude but he was being really cute without even trying.

He’s not sure if her laughing is a good thing but it still made a blush arise on his cheeks. Give him a break, he hasn’t been on a date since he was nineteen. Ever since Kaia was born, she’s been his only priority. Her mom wasn’t around anymore, and he had no time for dating with his busy schedule. He can bet that the boys would all be laughing at him right now for his lack of flirting skills.

‘Its nice to meet you Calum, I’m Gwen’ she said. She realized he’s most likely seen her name tag already, but he looked a little nervous. Who knew someone as attractive as him could get all shy and flustered.

‘And I’m Kaia’ the little girl giggled. That seemed to ease the nerves in the room.

He had no idea why he was so nervous. He’d just met the girl less than half an hour ago. Maybe it was just her kind presence or her gorgeous smile. It also helped that she didn’t seem to know who he was in terms of the band and if she did, she wasn’t showing it.

Kaia was sitting still, afraid to mess up her red nails. Her and Gwen were having a conversation about Disney princesses. Kaia arguing that Belle was the best and Gwen saying it was Ariel.

‘But Belle saved the beast she-‘

‘Yes but Ariel traded her legs for love I-‘

‘You guys are both wrong, Jasmine is the best’ Calum stated while shrugging. Kaia’s mouth hung agape while Gwen just shook her head ‘And why do you think that huh’ she teased.

‘Well first of all, she’s so full of spirit and determination, she’s so focused on fighting for her dad really she just-‘ Calum stopped as he realized he was rambling on about his favorite Disney princess to a cute stranger. Both girls are silent before they both burst out in a fit of giggles.

The older girl found it adorable and, in some way, oddly settling that he wasn’t afraid to admit to watching Disney princess movies and even having a favorite.

‘Sorry but you are wrong, Ariel is the best and you can’t change my mind’ Gwen said as a small smile made its way on her lips.

The three of them continued to talk about anything and everything. Kaia told Gwen some stories about her dad and her band while they’re on tour, she told her how excited she was to go back to school. She talked about how much she missed her dog Duke and how her aunt Mali is looking after him.

And Gwen loved it. So did Calum, he loved seeing his little girl converse so easily with another person. Especially a girl, since she hasn’t really had a close bond with another woman other than Mali.

Before he knew it, Kaia’s nails were all done with the perfect sparkly red manicure. She hopped out of her chair before she ran around the table to show her dad.

‘Daddy look, they’re just like uncle Luke’s, they’re so pretty’ her eyes were full of excitement showing off her new nails. Kaia whipped her head around, her brown curly locks flying with her, she ran into Gwen’s legs and hugged her tightly.

‘Thank you, thank you, thank you, I love them’ her muffled voice said. She pulled away and looked at her dad who had a smile on his face from watching the interaction. ‘Daddy, it’s your turn now’ her small voice spoke as she continued to admire her nails.

Calum looked up at Gwen and raised and eyebrow ‘Alright let’s do this’ his gruff voice spoke as he took a seat in front of her instead of beside her. Kaia had taken Calum’s spot and was currently on his phone that he gave her to distract her for bit.

Gwen started on the basics, cleaning his nails, filing them, making sure they’re even as he chose a simple black color for his nails ‘So, you’re in a band huh’ she asked him. She was surprised when Kaia had mentioned this, she wasn’t very in tune with the generation’s music, so she wasn’t necessarily surprised she didn’t recognize him.

Calum didn’t mind that she had no clue whatsoever as to who he was, it was kind of refreshing. ‘Yeah, me and my three best friends, been together since 2011’ he told her. Her eyes grew wide at this. ‘Eight years wow that’s a long time’ she stated. He nodded ‘I don’t know how I’ve managed to stay sane this long’ he chuckled ‘But no I enjoy it, I travel the world with my best friends, play for thousands of people, create music’ he told her with a look of pure joy on his face

‘Sounds like a dream come true’ she smiled, and he nodded in agreement ‘It really is’ he paused ‘Tell me about you though’

She shrugged starting to coat his nails in black polish ‘There’s not much to tell, I own the salon, I opened around two years ago, I guess I’ve always been interested in cosmetology so after I graduated from the cosmetology program in college, I took out a loan and opened up this place’

‘Looks like we both found something we loved and made a lives out of it’ he paused, unsure if he really wanted to ask this next question, but it slipped out of his mouth before he knew it ‘I don’t suppose you have a partner who helps you, a boyfriend maybe?’ he mentally cringed, he doesn’t remember the last time he tried to asked a girl out.

Key word is tried.

Gwen thought it was adorable ‘That’s a lame way to find out if I have a boyfriend or not’ she laughed. Calum lets his head fall and he groaned ‘Was it that obvious’ he chuckled.

‘Daddy, even I knew that was bad’ Kaia’s voice called out before giggling. Calum looked at his daughter and then back at Gwen who has a grin plastered on her face. ‘Are you just gonna sit there and laugh at me now’ he said as he tried not to move his hand, so he didn’t mess up his nails.

Gwen shook her head and smiled ‘For the record, it’s just me, no boyfriend’ she stated, she sees him take a deep breath at her confession. ‘Good’ he said.

She raised an eyebrow ‘Why?’ she questioned. It was quite obvious as to why, but she just liked bugging him, he was even cuter when he got nervous. ‘You’re getting a kick out of this aren’t you’ he asked. Gwen finished the last coat of nail polish on his nail before looking up at him ‘Maybe just a little bit’ she giggled.

The chair screeched from beside Calum as he saw Kaia move closer to him. She sighed ‘Daddy, do you need me to ask her for you’

Gwen laughed even harder at this, finding the father and daughter duo absolutely endearing. Calum shook his head, dark hair moving with his actions, ‘No sweetie, I think I’m good’ he told her, rubbing his eyes.

‘Can you please hurry because I’m hungry and I need to show uncle Luke my nails’ she breathed out. Calum nodded ‘I’ll try’. Gwen was watching this interaction with grin stuck on her face as he turned to look at her.

‘Well, Gwen, I’ve had a surprisingly good time with you here, so would you maybe wanna go out with me sometime?’ he asked, his eyes filled with hope.

‘How could I say no to that’ she smirked.

Maybe he’s getting a second chance at love after all.

Second [Dad!Calum] PT 4

REQUEST: Omg please continue the Calum Dad series it’s the best! & Can PT 4 includes YN going to labor and Calum is panicking and the big child scared maybe he joins or stays home but DEFINITELY include Calum’s reaction to the baby and then the big sisters and taking the baby home too my god !!!!!!

a/n: omg ask and you shall receive ,,, also this is the second to last part (maybe idkkk)

WARNINGS: light cussing

ROLLING OVER to her side, Y/N felt a sharp pain in her lower abdomen. Groaning, she tried pushing Calum awake to let him know. “Wake up, shit, shit, shit, wake the fuck up,” she started, still pushing at his shoulder. The one thing about Calum that Y/N couldn’t stand: he was a heavy sleeper.

Calum stirred in his sleep and peeked one eye open, “baby, what’s going on?”

You’ve already been through this once, why the hell are you asking? Y/N looked at Calum, and then her gaze fell to her very pregnant stomach. When she ripped the blankets off of herself, Calum’s eyes widened when he noticed she was sitting in a pool of light red liquid.

How is she so calm about this? Calum thought to himself. “Doll, you’re about two weeks early. Are we sure this isn’t, like, pre-labor or something?” Calum questioned. The first time around, Calum panicked too quickly and ended up having to wait in the waiting room for hours on end because of bringing Y/N at the very beginning of her labor. This time, Calum wanted to be sure.

“Last time I didn’t wake up in a pool of liquid, my waters broke, Ihaia is ready to get this show on the road,” she looked at him. Calum simply nodded and stood up, walking into the closet to grab a pair of flip-flops for his wife.

“Oh, God. We haven’t even packed our hospital bag yet. Fuck, Kaia was going to stay at Luke’s house on the due date so we wouldn’t have to worry. Fuck, babe, what are we going to do-” Calum paused, looking over at Y/N, who was just staring at him with the most blank stare he’s ever seen her give. Calum huffed, “why are you so calm about this? What are we going to do? Shit, I need to call Luke and get him over here.”

Y/N looked at Calum, not believing what he was saying. “Cal, we don’t have time for that. Grab Kaia and have the boys meet us over at the hospital,” she instructed, attempting to stand. Calum rushed to her side, only to be brushed off so he could tend to waking their three year old daughter up.

Calum’s car pulled up as close to the door as he could, screeching to a halt. Putting the car in park, Calum does out of the door and ran inside to seek help. “My wife is in labor, she’s going to have a baby, help, someone help,” he frantically rambled as he ran up to the counter.

A nurse looked up at a disheveled Calum and stood up. She breathed, “sir, grab the wheelchair that’s right in the doorway so you can bring your wife in. What’s your name?”

“Hood, her name is Y/N Hood,” Calum quickly replied, running towards the door to get the wheelchair. Grabbing the wheelchair, Calum made his was back to the car and pulled open the passenger door where his wife was seated. She was groaning and trying to stabilize her breathing, which was freaking out not only Calum, but poor Kaia who was sitting in the backseat. “Y/N, doll, lets go. Kaia, baby girl, unbuckle and and come here. Stay right next to Daddy, okay?” Calum instructed as he hooked his arm under Y/N’s legs and wrapped his other arm around her back. He lifted his wife out of the car and into the wheelchair and started making his way to the door, checking behind him to make sure his little girl was still by his side.

“Daddy,” Kaia whined. Calum knew his baby was tired, bus as of right now, he has other things to worry about.

“Baby, Uncle Lu is on his way and you’re gonna stay the night with him. Would you like that, petal-” Calum paused in the middle of his sentence when he was racing Y/N inside where the doctors were already waiting for them. The doctors took Y/N to the room just in time for Luke to walk in the door.

“Hey, man,” Luke breathed as he neared where Calum and Kaia were standing. When Calum turned around, his smile grew even wider. Kaia ran into the arms of her Uncle and giggled when he lifted her so carelessly off the ground.

“Will you make sure Kaia gets some more sleep? I’m sure she’s not enjoying being awake at a quarter to three,” Calum asked.

Luke shook his head, “yeah, call or text with any other updates. Say bye to Daddy, K, you’re gonna have a sleepover with me and Petunia.” Kaia waved at her father before Luke turned on his heel to take her back to his apartment.

Calum was relieved that his daughter was taken care of so he could channel all of his energy to his wife and their son that about to enter the world. “Sir, your wife is asking for you,” a nurse came out, signalling for Calum to come into the delivery room where his wife was located.

“Alright, you’re going to start pushing now, okay?” the doctor questioned Y/N. She shook her head, as her grip on Calum’s hand tightened. Calum winced, but chose not to complain about the pain, as he could not begin to imagine the amount of pain his wife was in. The doctor positioned her hands and called out, “okay, Y/N, let me have one powerful, good push.” Y/N let out a loud groan as she pushed as hard as she could. Calum didn’t want to admit it, but childbirth always made him feel a little lightheaded. “Another on, Y/N, you can do it,” the doctor cheered her on. Y/N whimpered a little but tried to push again with as much force as she could. The doctor smiled, “here’s the head! One more push Y/N, you can do it.” Calum squeezed Y/N’s hand and pressed a kiss to the back of it, silently reassuring her. Y/N took a deep inhale before beginning her final and hardest push, ready for it to end. “That’s it, that’s it, that’s it, here he is,” the doctor yelled, turning her attention to the proud parents, “Dad, would you like to cut the umbilical cord?”

Calum’s eyes widened. He didn’t cut the umbilical cord when Kaia was born, opting out because he wasn’t sure if he could handle it. Y/N looked up at him, awaiting his answer. Calum took a deep breath, praying he could get through it. “Yeah, sure, I’ll try,” Calum sheepishly replied, walking over to where the doctor was sat. However, when he reached the doctor, he was met with the scariest sight, losing all the breath in his lungs. “I-i that’s a lot of bl-blood,” Calum stammered out, looking at his wife with panicked eyes. The doctor passed the scissors to him, prompting him to cut the umbilical cord. Calum blinked a couple times, “I’m not su-sure I can,” was all Calum could get out before his ridiculously tall body fell to the ground.

a/n: omg calum fainted which i find really cute but like,,, im super soft. also sorry about the longish wait, i’ve been trying to figure out how to write this chapter because i don’t know much about what happens during childbirth,,., anywho hmu for part 5 if you want it :-)
