There is always two sides to a coin and you’re choosing tails.

(void state post)

you are victimizing yourself. whether you like it, or not. You complain that you can’t enter the void, you whine and cry and you send thousands of asks to bloggers for help. stop victimizing yourself and expect something magical to help you get into the void. Do the inner work.

okay, i seriously have no idea how many times i have to repeat this. i have been repeatedly saying this so many times, yet it goes in one ear and out the other. please, for the love of everything divinely possible, stop over complicating the void state!

It is NOT HARD. You make it seem hard because that is YOUR ASSUMPTION! And I know that you are tired of hearing that, but this applies to everything in life. We are always manifesting unconsciously and consciously, and there is nothing we can do about it. How do you expect to get into the void if you keep telling yourself that you can’t?

it makes absolutely no sense. Do a method that is comfortable for you. Don’t do things because other people are doing it. If you don’t like a method, or a certain position, then do the void state how you want to! You like yoga nidra? Perfect. Do that then. But you don’t like affirming “I am in the void state” while doing the lullaby method? Okay. Just affirm “broccoli” and boom you are in the void. Why? Because you assumed it would work for you.

I get countless asks of people saying things like, “I worked on my self concept, but I didn’t enter the void state” NO SH*T SHERLOCK!! That’s what you told yourself!! I’m sure if you were actually a void master, you wouldn’t come into peoples asks complaining that YOU CANT DO IT!!

the void state is genuinely easy. It’s you. And it can be achieved so easily if you would persist and tell yourself it’s easy. so many of the success stories you see are people doing this thing: finding what works for them.

here is the thing: you can do it. You are just telling yourself that you cant. The biggest reason you guys aren’t entering the void, is your lack of persistence.

going back to the title, you could have been ONE second away from entering the void, but you complained like usual and rolled over. You guys aren’t focusing on the void state while attempting. You’re focusing on your body, symptoms, “am I doing this right, ugh my body hurts, did I choose the right subliminal” LIKE NO!! That’s why you aren’t entering the void like cmon now. Isn’t this obvious?!

focus on the black behind your eyes and relax. focus on your affirmations or whatever you’re doing. think about you getting your dream life, and use that happiness to persist in the void state. find what works for you. stop complaining and going into mine and bloggers asks complaining the void doesn’t work for you.

going back to the title, there are 2 sides to a coin. And you guys are choosing tails. instead of “I’m tired and don’t wanna affirm anymore” say “I’m so happy I’m in the void, my dream life is here!”

stop being a victim in your own reality and step it up!! I hope this post gave you a wake up call and reality check because oh boy, y’all need it.

note: Sirius genuinely has feelings for the reader, yet he finds himself unsure of how to proceed. Therefore, he resorts to his natural inclination: flirting. Also, Marlene Mckinnon is the one Sirius is flirting with. Mary Macdonald is here too. Brief mention of Dorcas Meadowes. (I love the marauder girls so much!) Sirius calls you a nickname he made to tease you. (Y/N/N = your nickname)

"What’s bothering you?" asked a female voice. I looked up to see Mary, who had a worried expression on her face. In response, I hummed. "You look like you want to start a fight," she said. "Oh," I mumbled. I cast a glance into the distance, where Sirius and Marlene were clearly flirting. I swallowed and cleared my throat. "I am fine, just a little under the weather," I explained, smiling. I returned my gaze to the couple. Mary smirked as she followed my gaze. "Ahh!” she exclaimed, returning my gaze. "Now I know what the problem is," she teased. I avert my gaze in embarrassment.

"You’re jealous," she chuckled. "I am not," I say, my face flushed. She is amused by my reaction. "I mean, I get it; I would be jealous too," she shrugged. "Months of him teasing and making flirty jokes with you, and then boom, he suddenly flirts with another girl; if that is not mixed signals, I do not know what is." I fell silent at her words, rethinking his recent actions. Mary had noticed my silence. "Hey," she said. "I was only kidding," she said as I straightened my back. She was about to say something when a voice interrupted her. "Hello ladies," a voice said.

"Hi Sirius," Mary replied. I stare at Mary blankly, uninterested in Sirius's presence. "Well, I guess I should... leave you two. I just remembered Dorcas needed help with her dress. Uhm...bye," she bolted as quickly as she could. "What is her problem?" Sirius mused. "Haven't you heard her?" I retorted sarcastically. Sirius smirked, clearly unconcerned by my demeanour. He made no attempt to hide his laughter. "Woah, what is up your ass now, Y/N/N?" he teased. He knew I despised the nickname he gave me. I glared at him. "Stop that," I said. "Stop what?" he asked, grinning.

"I swear to Merlin, Sirius Black, if you keep doing that, I’m going to kick you where the sun doesn’t shine," I threatened. "I know you have a bad mouth, but threats?" he inquired. "You’re upset," he said. I scoffed, rolling my eyes. "No sh*t, Sherlock," I exclaimed before realizing who I was speaking to. I closed my eyes in shame. "May I know who irritated my lovely princess?" I could hear the tease in his tone. I open my eyes to see him giggling. Flirt. I thought to myself. "It is none of your concern," I snarled.

"Come on, tell me, and maybe I will punch them in the face," he said, shrugging. His words make me scoff. "Sure, punch the girl you were flirting with earlier," I said as I slapped my hand across my mouth. My mouth, oh my mouth. I cursed my own stupidity. I cast a glance at Sirius. He was having fun with it. He declared, "You are jealous." He laughs and says, "That is why you’re mad." "Stop talking," I muttered. "Don’t be grumpy; you’re still my number one," he joked. I stood up to leave, but I found myself sitting back down again. He pulled me down to his side. He simply stared at my face without saying anything. My brows furrowed in confusion. I was about to say something when he unexpectedly smiled at me.

"No way!” he exclaimed, his grin stretching from ear to ear. "You’re actually jealous." I tightened my lips, attempting to play it cool while rolling my eyes to conceal the telltale flush on my cheeks. "Oh my god!" He burst into laughter, a mischievous smirk dancing on his lips. "You so are."

Glaring at him with feigned annoyance, I hoped he didn't catch on to how crimson I had become under his relentless teasing. Ignoring my silent protest, he took a deep breath, maintaining that infuriating grin as he said, "Okay, okay." His gaze lingered on me, his ridiculous behavior prompting an involuntary shake of my head.

"Would you like a drink?" he inquired, attempting to shift the focus. Unable to resist, I shot back, "Why don't you ask Marlene?" His response echoed through the room, "Don't worry, Y/N/N! You're the only one I have my eyes on," as I turned to leave him behind. A triumphant grin spread across my face, revelling in the playful banter.

Despite the irritation he often provoked, I couldn't deny the goodness of his intentions. Meeting him had added a unique spark to my days, making me feel genuinely special. He was undeniably a sweetheart, and I cherished the fact that he could break through my tough exterior. He's become my favourite, but of course, I'd never admit it to him. That would only fuel his ego further. My smile widened at the thought, savouring the complexity of our dynamic.

I love Henry and I support him 100% on his work and projects; I'm glad he's back as Superman and, as much as it hurts because I prefer Geralt a million times over Superman, I'm happy he left the show. It must be exhausting dedicating so much time and effort, even getting injured and all for a show made by writers who put the main character, whom they use for promotion, on the sidelines and kill main characters just for shock factor - I'd like to remind you all that according to Lauren, killing Eskel was because if they killed a new nameless witcher that they just introduced, it wouldn't have the same effect, which is nonsense since Eskel for people who didn't know about the books and games, it was just a new character and, for the people who actually knew about games and books, it's a beloved character who survives both stories, so introducing him and killing him in the same episode was a no no. This proved they're desperate to be Game of Thrones, shock people by killing important characters, which is sh*t because those deaths on GOT and mostly in the books and every death is important for the story and actually have an impact on the story - For example: Robert and Ned's deaths are the catalyst for the battle of the 5 kings to start.

I'm happy about Enola Holmes 2. I loved it so much and I hope there's a third movie -I'd love a Sherlock spin-off too.

I'm thrilled about him working with Guy Ritchie again!

I hope Argylle is good, I really do!

Is Highlander happening? I hope so.

Anyway, I think that Henry's future looks bright and I can't wait to see what comes next in his career!

Zuko & Azula: Eyes

I was checking out the Avatar arts in my gallery, and then I found the old collages that I made:

Zuko indeed looks a ton like Ozai here. And I made this collage to point out how similar they are in appearance.

However, then I realized how their eyes are completely different.

Yeah, Zuko has light golden eyes like Ozai. Yet his eye shape is very different from his father's.

As you can see better in this one:

Again, they're looking pretty similar (No sh*t Sherlock, almost like they're related!)

Yet, their eyes are very different.

Zuko's eyes are larger, rounder, and much softer compared to Ozai's.

And it isn't only his eyes, his eyebrows are different as well. Zuko's eyebrows are comparatively softer and s shaped whereas Ozai's are longer and hard angled.

And apart from that, Zuko's hairline also comes softer on his forehead. Ozai has a very visible widow's peak.

But, do you know who has sharp eyes, hard-angeled eyebrows and a visible widow's peak like Ozai?

Duh! Here's your answer:

(They look nearly identical here tho. Eh, genetics)

-"V" shaped hairline? Checked✅

-Long, hard-angeled eyebrows? Checked✅

-Sharp eyes that could puncture a hull of an empire-class Fire Nation battle ship and leave thousands to drown at sea? Also checked✅

Despite looking pretty similar to Ursa, Azula inherited Ozai's sharper features.

And speaking of Ursa, let's compare her eyes to her children's too!

As you can see, Ursa has a darker shade of gold in her eyes, which she and Azula have in common.

But despite sharing the same dark golden/amber eye color, Ursa and Azula's eye shapes are completely different.

Ursa's eyes are larger, rounder and softer, just like Zuko's. And her eyebrows are s shaped too, also like Zuko's except she thins it.

So, what's the point of this entire eye comparing?

I do believe there's symbolism involved, that is why.

->Sharp eyes are often associated with serious, intimidating personalities. Which suits Ozai and Azula's characters very well.

->And as a contrast, soft eyes are often associated with kindness and innocence. Which also suits Ursa and Zuko's characters.

->So Azula's sharper features symbolizes how she inherited her father's personality. And it makes it clear he was the parent that she was closer to.

->It's the same case for Zuko. He inherited his mother's personality. And it clears the fact that he always felt closer to his mother.

But... What about eye colors?

I'm not sure if there was a symbolism going on with the fair gold or brownish gold eyes since Fire Nation people seem to have both.

Sozin, Ozai and Zuko have light ones. Iroh, Ursa and Azula have dark ones. Zhao is somewhat in the middle, not too light nor dark.

However, I do think there's a symbolism with the shades based on the parent-child relationships:

-> Zuko has Ozai's eye color. So whenever he looked in a mirror, he saw his father's disapproval.

-> Azula has Ursa's eye color. So whenever she looked in a mirror, she was her mother's judgement.

At the end, their eyes were a constant reminder to the Fire kids that they were disappointments to their parents.

But their parents' disappointment is not something they could fix. Because Ursa and Ozai were polar opposites as parents.

-> Ursa valued kindness and compassion.

-> Ozai considered kindness and compassion as weaknesses.

-> Ozai appreciated ruthlessness and cruelty.

-> Ursa disliked ruthlessness and cruelty.

-> Ozai praised brutality and despised mercy.

-> Ursa despised brutality and praised mercy.

-> Ursa seemed to favor Zuko, because he had a gentle heart.

-> Ozai hated Zuko because he had a gentle heart.

-> Ozai favored Azula because she was a firebending prodigy.

-> Ursa neglected Azula because she already had her father's approval.

The list goes on but I think I made my point.

Doesn't matter what Zuko and Azula would do, they were doomed to be accepted by one parent and disapproved by the other.

Basically, darned if they do and darned if they don't.

So at the end, Azula and Zuko didn't have much choice other than choosing a certain side.

Zuko chose love and kindness, like his mother. Which is symbolically portrayed with his softer features.

Azula chose fear and violence, like her father. Which is symbolically portrayed with her sharper features.

Yet, whatever they do, they're destined to live with the eyes of their parents who didn't accept them. They will see their parents' judgement 'till the end of their days...

Truly made in the USA where a scam artist, grifting, serial rapist can be under 3 indictments and still roam the country conning more idiots into giving him more money. Truly astounding how colonialism never freaking ends....white power seems to never freaking end....it just never ends!!! I don't know how much more disgust and outrage we can handle especially when the rest of us are literally dying out here under the threat of law and order just trying to be ourselves. 🔥☄️

1. What’s something new that you tried in a gifset this year? How did it turn out? Oh, I tried a lot of things the last 12 months. New transitions, layouts, overlays, fonts... pretty much everything you can think of. Watching what other gifmakers are creating is always nice for inspiration. (@usergif is agreat source for that) I surprised myself sometimes with how good things turned out. And I had many gifs which just looked like sh*t and were never saved, let alone posted. Especially with colouring gifs I still struggle sometimes.

Even tho I used a template (link in the original post) it was a lot of work fiddling around in Photoshop. Plus, I think I was able to include a lot of humour here. I was really pleased with the final result. I probably spent 15 - 20 hours on the entire set. Also, a set I wish had more notes...

I hope to try out a lot of new techniques/ styles.
