Two weeks later and I'm finally writing up info for the OCs I posted refs for smh
Anyway first is my three Bug Fables / Hollow Knight sister OCs: Strike, Stroke, and Strait!
Stroke I've had for the longest, so I'll start with her. She's a wandering beetle artist who came to Hallownest for inspiration (and would've been one of the only wandering bugs who actually survived had she been in the game, and I was making it JJEKDMF). She draws and paints, and her white bandana has been permanently ruined by paint splotches. She's very friendly and talkative; she often charges less for her art than she should just because she likes someone.
Strike's the eldest daughter and she's an adventurer. I like to think that she knows Kabu and that they're friends. I need to finish Bug Fables at some point so I can flesh her out more.
Finally, there's Strait. While her older sisters run around playing warrior and painter, she stays home and runs a shop. She may seem annoyed that her sisters get to do all the “fun stuff” and that “she's stuck at home”, but she does her job with pride… more or less. She's not as chatty as Stroke, but she enjoys listening to the stories or gossip the patrons bring in.

Hope the execs at Universal Pictures get absolutely fucked by all the fines and fees for damaging the trees at the picket line to sabotage the strikes. 🙏🏻

I was telling a friend about your OC and just called him "Buttons" without offering any other details. With that name he just pictured a cute teddy bear OC until my comment about a Fallout setting started tipping him off he might need a better description than that LMAO

Mainstream sci-fi loves to insist on having drab looking machines as tools of war and oppression almost as a self fulfilling prophecy.
But what if, hear me out, we started considering a future with more humane AI and healthier relations to different modes of intelligence (ie. the entire non-human being population of Earth)? 🤔
