Todoroki x Midoriya (interpret as you wish)
Lee: Todoroki
Ler: Izuku
Warnings: Tickles!
___________________________________________
Summer vacation was almost over, not like it was much of a vacation for the heroes in training. Sure they didn't take their usual classes but they were still subjected to pretty tough hero training. Seeing as the new school year was going to start soon, Todoroki couldn't help but feel a bit stressed. He knew it would only get harder from here, and his family drama definitely wasn't helping.
One day he had been invited over to the Midoriya household. Izuku and Shoto were both seated in the living room, discussing very serious school related stuff.
"Todoroki look at the new All Might pens I got!" said the greennette all excitedly, bringing them up closed to the bicolored haired male's face.
"They look nice" he replied with his usual stoic expression, but Deku managed to catch a glimpse of a slight frown in his face.
"Hey, is something wrong?".
"It's nothing..." Todoroki tried to avert the other's gaze, but it was hard to ignore those big, green puppy eyes. He let out a sigh "I guess I'm just a bit stressed with the upcoming school year".
"I see..." Izuku didn't like seeing his friend all worried, he had to do something to help him out. And that's when he was struck with a mischevious idea. A teasy smirk made it's way onto his face as he called out to the other in a playful tone "Oh Todorokiiiii~".
"Yes- GAH!" Todoriki let out a startled gasp when Midoriya tackled him across the couch. While taking a seat on top of his waist. "Midoriya what are you doing??".
"Oh nothing, I'm just gonna tickle the stress out of you~!" the greennette lost no time softly wiggling his fingers along Todoroki's neck, watching in adoration as the taller one tried scrunching up his shoulders.
"M-Midoriya nohoho!" Todoroki giggled softly as he squeezed his eyes shut, his nose lightly scrunched up as the cutest smile adorned his lips.
"Midoriya yes!" Deku teased as he playfully tapped his fingers along his jawline, earning the cutest snickers from the other.
"Ehehehe! I-ihit tickles!!" Shoto pointed out the obvious. It was the only thing that came to his mind, how much it tickled and how fun it was.
"Aww does it now? Good!" Izuku then moved his hands down to Todoroki's sides, softly scribbling up and down them.
"Gah! Hahahahahaha!" poor Shoto let out a strangled gasp at the sudden change in tickle spots before bursting out into uncontrollable giggles. He couldn't help but bring his elbows down his sides, it tickled that much.
"I wonder which side is more ticklish. This one? Or maybe this one~?" the greennette teased as he focused his tickles on his left side, while then switching to the right side. It left Todoroki in stitches.
"Neheheither! Ahahahahahaha!" he squirmed around from side to side. As he threw his head back in laughter, his bright smile on full display.
Deke couldn't help but giggle at his response. "Hmm...how about here~?" He switched spots once again and softly scribbled the bicolored haired male's tummy.
"Pffft! AhaHahaHA! M-Midoriya nahaHAha!" Todoroki wasn't sure whether to protect the sensitive spot or die of embarrassment, he went with the latter. Opting to clutch his hands across his chest while he kicked his legs out all cutely.
"Ahh coochi coochi coo! Who's a ticklish 'lil hero? You are~!".
"S-SHUHUHUSH!" Shoto let out an embarrassing high pitched squeal at the tease, his face fully flushed at this point. With whatever strength he had left he managed to sit upright and cover Deku's mouth. But the freckled guy took the opportunity to shove his hands under Todoroki's arms.
"W-WAHAHAIT! GYAHAHAHAHA!" Todoroki quickly crumbled down, clamping his arms down as best as he could. His face was so red his scar was barely visible. Tears had started to prick the corners of his eyes as his bubbly laughter filled up the room.
Seeing how he started to hiccup through his laughter, Deku slowed his fingers down to a stop. Getting off of his friend in the process to give him some room to breath. "Sorry if I took it a bit too far... How are you feeling now?".
Shoto tried his best to speak through hiccupy giggles, it was pretty funny to witness "M-muhuhuch *hic* behehetter *hic*!".
Izuku instantly smiled down at him as he plafully patted his tummy "Glad I could be of help then!".
Todoroki couldn't help but smile in return. It looked so genuine and overall he looked much more relaxed and at ease compared to earlier. There might be a tough road up ahead, but atleast he didn't have to deal with it alone.
___________________________________________
Considering how he likes to take lots of notes, I hc Deku to really like collecting stationary (especially if it's All Might themed). Although if it's All Might themed he might refrain from using it as to not ruin it (like me LMAO)
I have an obsession with lee Todoroki someone help akdhakhdkahs
Anyways, this was a lot of fun to write! I feel pretty good about it :]
Did I proofread this?...haha nope :D (sorry not sorry)

Learn To Let Go
Tumblr media
Genre: College!au, mostly fluff w a lil bit of angst reader x jaehyun, reader x haechan
Word Count: 11.3k (oof)
Summary:  You and Jaehyun have a strong relationship that seemingly came from nowhere, but what happens when you throw an energetic Donghyuck into the mix?
Masterlist
A/N: Partly based on reality, partly based on what I wish would happen
It was nearly halfway through your freshman year when you went to your first frat party. There was no particular rhyme or reason to it; you simply had no reason to go, just as you had no reason not to go. However, this particular night your friend, Minji, wanted to go out and you were her only friend who had nothing to do. Deciding “why the heck not?” you threw on what Minji dubbed as your best party clothes and met her in her room. A few shots later and you were inebriated enough to actually be able to enjoy a crowded, sweaty basement. Giggling and stumbling, you and Minji found your way to frat row. Despite your tipsy state, you somehow managed to find the frat Minji was in search of.
“Why do you want to go to this frat again? We passed by like twenty on the way here.” You managed to slur out.
“Becaaaaause, my dear Y/n, I know a few of the brothers so we’re guaranteed an in plus drinks. This is your first party and I have to make it memorable. Plus, I heard Sicheng was going to be there and we are one conversation away from hooking up.”
You rolled your eyes at the latter statement. Of course she was going for Sicheng. Granted, there was an undeniable tension between them that had been building the whole year, but the addition of Sicheng meant Minji was bound to leave you on your own within the first ten minutes of your arrival.
Entering the frat, you were immediately met with the smell of weed and a rush of uncomfortably warm air. Minji, having practically memorized the house like the back of her hand, expertly weaved her way through the crowd towards the kitchen. Clinging onto her hand like a lifeline, you followed her through the mass of sweaty bodies only to stop abruptly.
“Sicheng!” Minji released herself from your death grip, all but flinging herself at the man.
“Hey baby.” He drawled out, clearly high, while wrapping an arm around her waist, pulling her back towards the crowd.
“Oh, Y/n, I didn’t think you’d be coming.”
Upon hearing your name, you tore your eyes away from Minji’s retreating figure. It had only taken her three minutes to abandon you. The good thing about Sicheng was that Jung Jaehyun was always sure to be by his side. The two were roommates, best friends, they would even call each other soulmates (always followed by a “no homo”). You were friendly with Jaehyun, mostly because the two of you were always stuck together whenever Minji and Sicheng inevitably left you behind. Coupled with the few courses you took together, you considered Jaehyun a friend. A very attractive and sought-after friend.
“Hey Jaehyun. Looks like it’s just the two of us, again.”
You both rolled your eyes at your friends’ antics as you moved to stand beside him. Pressing your side against the counter, you turned to face him as he grabbed a cup and began filling it with various liquids. Handing you the cup, he lifted his own to his lips.
“I think we both deserve a little more to drink after being ditched for the thousandth time.” He laughed before downing his drink, wincing at the taste.
“I’ll drink to that.”
Half a drink later and your brain was swirling, one hand rooted to Jaehyun’s arm to keep yourself from flying into space. You were both laughing at nothing, pleasantly lost in your inebriated states.
“Hey, why don’t we go dance? I give them at least two more hours before they decide to rejoin us.” Jaehyun practically yelled in order to be heard over the music.
With a shrug, you grabbed his hand and let him guide you through the house. With every step you could hear the music increasing in volume, the bass shaking your entire being when you finally came to a stop. Pulling your back against his front, Jaehyun wrapped his arms around your waist and rested his head on your shoulder. Moving to the music, you felt him bring your ass closer to his hips, slowly grinding against you. You didn’t mind, Jaehyun was attractive as hell and you were in the mood for a little fun. After a few minutes he nuzzled his head into your neck, beginning to place soft kisses against the skin. Tilting your head slightly to the side to allow him more access, Jaehyun began to suck, working the soft flesh between his lips before pulling away.
Suddenly, Jaehyun turned you around, pulling you by the hips until your front was pressed flush with his. A smirk pulled at his lips as he looked down at you, slowly swaying your bodies in time with the music. The drinks still fresh in your system gave you the courage to wrap your arms around his neck, effectively pulling his forehead to rest against yours. His smirk widened, a mischievous glint flashing across his eyes.
“You’re being quite bold, miss Y/n. I like it, you should come to parties more often.” You only rolled your eyes in response, bringing your lips up to meet his. He met you halfway, eager to taste you. The rest of the room began to fade away as Jaehyun’s hands traveled over your body. You barely registered when the songs changed, let alone the crowd jostling you around until Jaehyun decided to guide your bodies to rest against a wall, momentarily separating your lips. Settling his back against the wall, Jaehyun once again pulled your hips to his, lips reconnecting within seconds. Minutes passed, maybe even hours, as the two of you remained in each other’s embrace, barely pausing, if only to catch your breath. Finally, Jaehyun fully pulled away, opening his mouth in what you assumed was an invitation. A hand grasping your arm pulled your attention away from him only to be faced with Minji.
“Well look who decided to grace me with her presence.” You quipped, fully prepared to turn back to Jaehyun who had taken to once again sucking at your neck.
“Sorry to rain on your parade,” she replied with a roll of her eyes, “but we have to go. Jisoo just called me from the Lambda house and she’s hella drunk, we have to take her home.”
With a heavy sigh, you pulled Jaehyun away from your neck to face you.
“I have to go, Jaehyun. You have my number, don’t be afraid to use it.” With a peck of his pouting lips and a quick wink, you begrudgingly followed your friend out of the house.
“Don’t act like you’re the only victim here, Sicheng and I were having a wonderful time before Jisoo called. If there’s anyone you should be mad at, it’s her –” she paused, finally beginning to process what she had just witnessed. Choosing to remain silent on the affair, the two of you travelled in silence in order to save Jisoo from embarrassing herself for the fourth time that semester. Finally returning to the dorms, Minji grabbed your wrist before you could escape to your room.
“Tomorrow, you tell me everything.” With that she bid you goodnight, allowing you to return to your room. Laying in the darkness, your slightly sobered mind began to realize what had happened that night. What the hell did I do?
❃❃❃❃
The next morning, Jisoo texted you and Minji, informing you that she would treat you to breakfast as a thanks for saving her ass, again. The three of you met in your dorm’s common area before heading out to a nearby café. Good pastries and low prices, every college student’s dream. You had barely begun eating your chocolate chip muffin before Minji began her interrogation.
“So, you and Jaehyun, huh?” Jisoo nearly choked on her tea and turned to face you, eyes wide. “You know, me and Sicheng always joked about you two getting together so we could go on double dates,” she continued, ignoring Jisoo’s confusion, “but looks like it’s actually happening!”
“We made out, Minji, we didn’t profess our love for each other. Yes, he’s attractive, but I could never picture myself in an actual relationship with him.” Your face twisted in mild disgust. The boy was graced in the physical appearance department, no one could deny it, but he used those looks towards his advantage. The boy made it very clear he was not ready for a serious relationship anytime soon, and you truly didn’t see him in a romantic way. Sure, you’d be more than happy to fool around with him, but never a legitimate relationship.
“Anyways, what even happened with you and Sicheng last night? You literally ditched me the second you saw him.” You quickly diverted the attention from yourself, settling back to finish your muffin as Minji relayed, in excruciating detail, the events of the previous night.
After the three of you finished eating, you all went your separate ways. Somehow you had managed to finish all of your work, so you had the whole weekend free. Heading back to the dorm, you were contemplating what flavor of ice cream to buy from the convenience store when your phone rang. Pulling the device out of your pocket, you read the caller ID. Jaehyun. You accepted the call and pressed your phone to your ear.
“Hello?”
“Y – y/n,” he cleared his throat, “I need you. Can you come to my room, East Quad, 202?”
“I’ll be there in ten.” Quickly, you placed your phone back into your pocket. Ice cream be damned, you had more interesting plans for the weekend.
❃❃❃❃
You had never been to the West Quad before. In fact, you’d never been to the Quad before, period. The trek from your dorm to that side of campus was a good half an hour and you’d never had a good enough reason to go, until now. Luckily for you, the café you had eaten at was halfway there and the weather was relatively nice. All it took was a brisk walk and you found yourself at Jaehyun’s door. Your fist had barely connected with the door when it swung open, a shirtless and visibly anxious Jaehyun quick to pull you inside.
“I’ve been thinking about you all fucking night but I just need to make sure you’re still ok with this.”
All it took was a small nod of your head for his lips to come crashing down on yours. Despite being completely sober, his kiss was just as urgent as it had been the night before, if not more. He didn’t hesitate to guide you to his bed, leaning against the wall so that you were straddling his thighs. An unsatisfied grunt left his lips as he grabbed your ass to pull you closer, your bodies once again flush against each other. Finally satisfied with your positioning, Jaehyun focused on the kiss. Nipping at your lips, he slowly began guiding your hips against his. Time seemed to be at a standstill as your lips moved in synchronization. Completely lost in the kiss, Jaehyun’s hands began to travel up and down your thighs, settling at the top of your pants to fiddle with your waist band. His fingers dipping past the band broke you out of your reverie as you grabbed his hands. He broke away from the kiss to stare at you in confusion. For the first time since you met him, you felt yourself blush.
“I – I haven’t exactly done much before…” you trailed off as Jaehyun nodded in understanding.
“We don’t have to do anything you’re uncomfortable with Y/n. Just tell me when, and I’ll stop.”
Smiling gratefully, you leaned back down to kiss him only to be met with Jaehyun’s hand on your lips.
“I’m fine with kissing, Jaehyun,” you laughed “I figured the past twelve hours were enough of an indicator.”
“I know, I know, but I thought of something. As I’m sure you know, you’re not the first person I’ve had…relations with and you’re certainly not the first unexperienced person I’ve dealt with. So, I have a proposition,” he paused, and you looked at him expectantly, silently encouraging him to continue. “You’re an attractive girl and I’m a boy with needs, but I also know how to control them. I propose that we have a sort of…friends with benefits relationship. I’m your friend, I’m assuming you’re comfortable around me at this point and you know I won’t push you into anything.”
“And what exactly are you getting out of this?”
“Well, I know that I’ll be able to call on you when needed, plus I’d be lying if I said I haven’t imagined doing…things with you. It’s a win-win situation!”
You were silent for a moment, still seated on his lap, contemplating his idea. You had been looking for someone to help you out in the sex department, whether they be a friend or a boyfriend, and he was a more than worthy candidate. The whole offer was rather tempting.
“You don’t have any STD’s?”
“None, I promise I always use protection and I get tested every once and a while just to make sure,” he rose his left hand, using the right to draw an imaginary cross over his heart.
“And you won’t share stories with your ‘bros’?”
“Full confidentiality.”
“Well then mister Jung, I think we have ourselves a deal,” you said, holding out your hand.
“I’m glad you accepted, miss Y/n.” he placed his hand in yours and shook it firmly before pulling you back into his embrace.
“Now, where were we?”
❃❃❃❃
Jaehyun did not disappoint. Your relationship went almost a full month before anyone found out, and it was only because Sicheng and Minji had burst into the room while you were in a rather compromising position. It took ten minutes to get them to calm down and another five to explain your situation. Minji was a little disappointed that you weren’t actually dating but she got over it, especially when you convinced Jaehyun to go on a few double dates with them to fulfill her dreams.
Summer break was fast approaching as the semester ended, finals becoming the main task at hand. Both you and Jaehyun agreed to not bother each other until the last final was completed. It proved to be easier than you expected; once you threw yourself completely into your work there was barely room to think about anything else.
Your eyes glazing over from exhaustion, you skimmed over the final closing paragraph of your essay. Satisfied with the words you managed to spill onto the page in the few minutes before its deadline, you submitted your essay, signifying the end of your finals. Slamming your laptop closed, you pushed away from your desk and moved towards your bed, flopping onto the firm mattress. You pulled your sheets over your head, releasing a sigh before checking your phone. As soon as you picked up the device it lit up, signifying an incoming call. You answered the phone, not needing to look at the caller ID to know who it was.
“What do you want Jaehyun?”
“Well hello to you too, Y/n. My finals went well, thanks for asking.”
You rolled your eyes. Jaehyun’s finals had consisted of only exams so he had finished a few days before you. He had been patiently waiting for you to be done. Since he knew your finals schedule, he knew that your last final should have been submitted two minutes ago, giving him the green light to call you up.
“No need for small talk, just come over.”
“Yes! Thank you so much, you’re the best Y/n!”
You had barely put your phone down when a knock at your door pulled you from the comfort of your bed.
“How the hell did you get here so fast?” You opened the door, face to face with Jaehyun himself.
“Would it be weird if I told you I’ve been waiting in your common room for the past two hours?”
“Ummm, yes? Actually that’s really weird Jaehyun what the fuck?”
“To be fair, Minji and Sicheng kicked me out of our dorm since they figured I could just come here. However, I decided to be considerate and waited downstairs until I knew you’d be done.”
“Oh, what a gentleman, chivalry isn’t dead! I commend you for your bravery Jaehyun.”
“Thank you,” he said, bowing, “Now please let me in, I’ve been waiting for so long.”
Moving to the side, you ushered him into your room. “You’re just lucky my roommate already left, otherwise it’d be back to the common room for you.”
“‘Chivalry isn’t dead’ my ass.” He chuckled, immediately latching his hands onto your hips.
“I’m pretty sure chivalry is only towards women.” You quipped back.
“That’s rather sexist, Y/n. I expected better of you.”
“Oh shut up Jaehyun.” You replied, grabbing his neck to pull his lips to yours. He gladly accepted the kiss, quick to pull you back to your bed. Laying you down, he hovered over your body.
“I missed you.” He whispered against your lips.
Pulling away slightly you rested your forehead against his.
“It’s been a week and a half, Jaehyun.”
“Too long.” He pouted. You giggled, booping his nose before leaning back in to continue the kiss. In the months you had been with Jaehyun, you had begun to explore more in the bedroom, but you still shied away from sex. He was respectful of your boundaries and your mouth was more than satisfying enough for his needs. He would never admit it himself, but the grinding and dry humping you partook in often brought him close to his end.
It only took five minutes for Jaehyun’s hands to begin wandering. They slid along your sides to grab at your ass, pushing your hips up towards his. You could feel his member hardening beneath his shorts as he began to grind his hips against yours. Your lips parted, a moan ready to escape, but a yawn beat it out. You turned your head in embarrassment, burrowing into your pillow.
“If you were too tired you could have just told me.” Jaehyun laughed, stroking your hair as you let out a loud groan.
“I know but I thought I could power through it, I’d feel bad leaving you hanging,” you pouted, turning to face him again.
“Y/n it’s fine, to be honest I’m pretty tired too. Let’s just cuddle and then pick up where we left tomorrow morning.”
You nodded in agreement, Jaehyun shifting around to lay beside you. Minutes passed as you lay facing each other, studying every inch of the other’s face. Jaehyun smiled as he lifted a hand to softly stroke your face.
“What am I going to do this summer without you?” he mumbled to himself.
“I’m sure you know more than enough girls who can replace me, Jaehyun. You’ve got nothing to worry about.” You replied with a smirk. It was no secret that he was sleeping with other girls while you were messing around. It didn’t bother you; other than using protection, his sex life was of no concern to you.
“I know but you’re my favorite.” He winked, his lips pulling into a smirk to mirror yours.
“Oh, shut up and go to bed,” with a shove to his shoulder you rolled over and shut your eyes, leaving Jaehyun giggling beside you.
❃❃❃❃
The next morning Jaehyun woke you up with soft kisses to the side of your neck. You spent the hours leading up to your departure from university laying with Jaehyun, that was until Sicheng and Minji came banging on your door. The rest of the day was spent between the four of you eating convenience store food and seeing each other off until it was your turn to leave. Sicheng had left an hour earlier, leaving Minji alone to complain about third wheeling, you and Jaehyun shrugging her off with a clipped, “karma.’
“I’m going to miss you this summer, Y/n! Remember you promised to visit me, I’m holding that to you otherwise you’ll have to find a different roommate for next year.” Minji held you in a tight embrace with barely room to breathe.
“If you don’t let me out of this death grip the only place I’ll be visiting is an early grave,” you grunted, finally escaping from her grasp, “Of course I’ll visit you, you idiot.” You continued, pinching her cheeks, much to her dislike. She wiped away a fake tear as Jaehyun walked up to you.
“I’ll see you next semester Y/n, don’t have too much fun without me.” He whispered, placing a soft kiss to your forehead.
“No promises.” You responded with a wink before clambering into the cab, waving at your friends as they faded into the distance.
❃❃❃❃
“My sweet baby Y/n has returned to save me from these idiots!” Minji’s voice rang out as soon as you entered the dorm.
“Hey! One of those idiots happens to be your boyfriend!” Sicheng called after her as she barreled towards you.
“I literally saw you two weeks ago.” You replied with a roll of your eyes. You had been true to your word, visiting Minji in her home for a week, touring her home town and meeting her high school friends.
“I know but I missed you sooo much,” she clung to your side, “plus, Jaehyun hasn’t stopped pestering me about when you were arriving.” She added in a whisper, playfully winking.
“Speaking of, hey Jaehyun come help me with these boxes! Lord knows Minji won’t be any help.” Minji placed a hard jab to your side while you laughed.
“I haven’t seen you in four months and this is how you greet me? Couldn’t even bother to say please, you wound me Y/n.” You merely laugh at his dramatics, handing him and Sicheng a few bins to bring up to your room.
“Oh, Jaehyun, I missed you so much! I spent every day pining for your touch.”
“That’s more like it.” He smirked, placing a kiss to your cheek. “I missed you too.”
“Why does everyone forget about me?” Sicheng groaned under the weight of his box.
“Hey Sicheng, thanks for biting the bullet for all of us and dating Minji, now she can’t bother the rest of – ow hey be careful this box is heavy!” You laughed as Minji hit you over the head. The four of you carried your things to your room and unpacked. You had to nearly wrestle your clothing box out of Jaehyun’s hands so that he couldn’t get a glimpse of your underwear.
“Just a little peak!” He pouted.
“If you let go then maybe I’ll let you see some in a different setting.” You bargained and he immediately released the box.
“You guys are gross.” Minji complained, wrinkling her nose in disgust.
“Oh, as if you weren’t just whispering to Sicheng about how you wanted to sneak out to my dorm.” Jaehyun quipped back, Minji’s face immediately reddening as Sicheng laughed.
“Sicheng you’re supposed to be defending my honor.” She whined.
“Sorry baby, I can’t deny the truth.”
It took an hour to fully unpack your boxes. The four of you decided to go out for barbecue, splurging before the weight of coursework came crashing down onto you. The night was filled with laughter and light banter before you returned to your respective rooms. You were about to enter your dorm when Minji grabbed your wrist.
“Actually, Sicheng and I were thinking we could take our room and you and Jaehyun could take theirs…” She said, shuffling anxiously while glancing between you and Sicheng.
“Really, Minji? Didn’t you just see him like two days ago?”
“Yea but my parents were home what were we supposed to do that’d be so awkward,” she whined tugging on your arm, “come on, don’t act like you haven’t missed being with Jaehyun.”
You opened your mouth to respond but were interrupted by Jaehyun’s arm wrapping around your shoulders.
“That’s fine, Minji. C’mon, Y/n, just grab some things for the night and we’ll head over to my room.”
With a huff you agreed, collecting a change of clothes and some toiletries while Minji thanked you profusely. Jaehyun was leaning against the opposite wall when you left your room. Upon your exit, he stood up straight and grabbed your bag, wrapping his arm around your waist. Luckily, Jaehyun and Sicheng had gotten a room in the same building as you and Minji, effectively minimizing the travel time between your rooms.
Entering his room, Jaehyun dropped your bag on the floor before bringing you to the bed, falling backwards and pulling you down with him. A giggle escaped your lips as you fell on top of him, your head inches from colliding with his. The two of you lay like that for a moment, taking time to relearn every inch of each other’s faces. Jaehyun leaned up to press his lips to yours before falling back onto the bed.
“We don’t have to do anything, I know you’ve had a long day,” he whispered soothingly, his hands stroking your sides, “I’m fine with just laying here with you. I truly did miss you.”
You smiled, rolling over to lay beside him. Hands searching for his, you locked your fingers together and pulled him closer.
“I missed you too.”
❃❃❃❃
The next morning you were awoken by Jaehyun pressing against you, and you spent two hours making up for the four months you had been apart. That was until you remembered your plans to have breakfast with Minji and practically threw Jaehyun off of you in your haste to get ready.
“Shit, Y/n, what was that for? I swear you liked that position last time but if your mind changed you could have just told –“
“Shut up Jaehyun I was supposed to meet Minji like ten minutes ago she’s going to fucking kill me.”
Jaehyun shuddered in understanding; he had been subjected to Minji’s tirade on more than one occasion. She was extremely anal about being on time and god help anyone who was late.
“God’s speed, fair maiden.” He mocked, tipping an imaginary hat.
“Thank you, sir knight, as I shall need it.” With that, you pulled open his door and flew downstairs. Entering the common room you were immediately met with an irritated Minji staring impatiently at her watch. You grimaced as her head whipped up upon your arrival, a sour look gracing her features. Before she could begin her scolding, you grabbed her arm and headed to the door whilst apologizing profusely. You managed to quell her anger by asking about her night spent with Sicheng, her payback being to describe every moment in excessive detail. Upon your arrival to the café, Minji had recounted the entire night and was then ready to accept your apologies for being late. Settling into your seats, Minji’s face turned serious.
“Why are you looking at me like that Min?” You giggled nervously, “I thought we were past the lateness?”
“Y/n, we need to talk about you and Jaehyun.” You opened your mouth to speak but she cut you off. “Now I know neither of you are interested in a relationship, but the way you two act you might as well be in one already. If you’ve been thinking about being in a serious relationship, any guy will see the two of you and think you’re already in a relationship!”
“Listen, Min, I get where you’re coming from and that you’re worried, but Jaehyun and I are adults. When the time comes, we’ll deal with it ourselves, ok? Don’t worry your pretty little head about us.” You said with a smile, reaching over to pat her on the head. Knowing she wasn’t going to get anything further out of you, Minji sat back with a sigh as she listened to you complain about the upcoming semester.
❃❃❃❃
Calculus definitely was not a course you wanted to take. Since you waited a year to take it, there was probably going to be a bunch of freshman in your class, plus, it was math, and who actually likes math? But, your major required it and since you didn’t take it in high school, you were forced to take it now. You had tried to convince Minji, Jaehyun, and even Sicheng to take it with you but they had all already previously completed it or had, in Jaehyun’s words, ‘no interest whatsoever in wasting my time taking some lame ass math course.’ Thus, you were stuck seated in the middle of an almost filled lecture hall, unable to recognize a single face in the room.
Lee Donghyuck had no intentions whatsoever to take calculus in his first ever semester of college. He had hoped to use his first year to explore different courses, get a feel for what he wanted to do in the future. His best friend Mark, on the other hand, promised his parents he would complete calculus seeing as he had avoided taking it his first year, and he was not about to take it alone. After a few days of begging and promises of free bbq, Mark had managed to convince Donghyuck to take the course with him.
Donhyuck had woken up that morning earlier than he would have liked, but Mark was set on being early to make a good impression. Unfortunately for him, he had failed to factor in long lines in the dining hall plus travel time, so that when they finally made it to the lecture hall, it was almost completely full. There were a few open seats dotted around the room, luckily some of them were next to each other. His eyes wandered over the room, determining which seat would be the most suitable, when they suddenly stopped on you. There were two empty seats next to you, and Donghyuck just so happened to find you the most ethereal being he had ever laid his eyes upon. He stood frozen in the doorway, completely tuning out Mark’s ramblings beside him as he stared at you. Noticing his absent state of mind, Mark followed Donghyuck’s gaze in an attempt to find what had caught his friend’s attention, only to land on your figure. A smirk pulled at his lips as he understood what was going on, and he quickly nudged Donghyuck before moving to the empty seats beside you.
You were sat staring at your phone waiting for the professor to arrive when you felt a presence hovering beside you. Looking up, you were met with the faces of two boys: one looking rather smug while the other seemed to be in a state of panic.
“Hi, my name is Mark and this is my friend Donghyuck. We were wondering if you would mind if we sat next to you.”
You couldn’t exactly say no, and they both seemed innocent enough so you nodded your head ‘yes’ before introducing yourself to them. Mark seemed more than happy to keep your conversation alive, telling you all about himself and occasionally Donghyuck, who sat next to his friend like a rock. Mark was in the middle of a harrowing tale about the time he and Donghyuck had almost been caught by the principal while covering his car in Saran Wrap when the professor walked into the lecture hall, effectively shutting him up.
It didn’t take long for you to grow bored; the professor was reviewing the syllabus and his monotonous voice did little to quell your boredom. Looking around the room you could tell that the majority of the classroom was in a similar state of disinterest. You turned your head to the right to find Mark’s head laid on the desk, giving you a clear view of Donghyuck staring directly at you. Upon making eye contact, he blushed and abruptly looked towards the front of the lecture hall. Furrowing your brows in confusion, you turned back to Mark and nudged him awake. The professor had finished up his introduction and, unwilling to let the class leave early, told the students to sit and talk among themselves for the remaining hour. You weren’t going to sit in silence by yourself so you instead chose to wake the boy beside you and force him into conversation, seeing as Donghyuck had no intentions of talking to you.
Mark jolted upright, blinking blearily at the bright fluorescent lights. A laugh bubbled out of your throat when he turned to glare at you. He had fallen asleep on his open notebook, leaving an imprint of the spiral spine all along the side of his face. His glare quickly turned to confusion and he turned to question Donghyuck who immediately broke into a fit of laughter as well. The two of you were practically hysterical at that point, slightly delirious from the morning’s events, while Mark was stuck between you, a mixture of confusion and irritation stuck on his face. Still laughing, you pulled up your front facing camera on your phone and shoved it into Mark’s hands. Upon seeing his face, Mark began to laugh as well. At this point, half of the class had turned to stare at the three of you, wondering just what exactly was wrong with you. Eventually your laughter died down and Mark handed back your phone, but not before taking a few selfies.
“Would you mind sending them to me? I would have taken them on my own but I left my phone in my room this morning.”
“Me too!” You looked up in surprise to see Donghyuck’s cheeks once again flushed with red. “I know Mark will never send them to me himself.” He quickly explained.
“That’s because you’ll use them against me.”
“Exactly why I’m asking noona to send them to me!”
You laughed at their banter, handing them your phone to plug in their numbers, Mark whining in protest the entire time. He even went as far as to try and wrestle the phone away from Donghyuck’s grip which you immediately scolded him for. It seemed that the whole laughter episode had loosened something in Donghyuck as he began to actively take part in conversation with both Mark and you. The professor’s voice broke through your conversation, signaling the end of your lecture. You gathered your belongings, prepared to leave the hall, only to be faced with Mark and Donghyuck blocking your path.
“Y/n! We were wondering if you wanted to get dinner with us! We’re meeting up with one of upperclassmen friends, he went to high school with us.” Mark exclaimed, Donghyuck nodding enthusiastically beside him.
“Oh, I wouldn’t want to intrude on your plans.” In truth, you had made plans to get dinner with Jaehyun that night.
“You won’t be intruding at all! Hyung is really nice and I’m sure he wouldn’t mind such a pretty addition.” Donghyuck argued, throwing in a sly wink at the end.
You felt your face flush as you mulled it over. You had just spent a whole day with Jaehyun, and he certainly wouldn’t miss you for a measly dinner. He could just call up one of his other girls to fawn over him.
“Sure, why not.” You agreed with a shrug. The two boys cheered before making their way out of the classroom.
“We’ll text you the details, Y/n, see you tonight!” Mark called out before dragging Donghyuck away. He had a lot of teasing to subject the latter to.
❃❃❃❃
The cafeteria was filled with the usual chatter as you weaved between tables towards Minji and Jaehyun. Sicheng’s class was across campus so it took him much longer to make it to the cafeteria, a fact he had been complaining about the day before. Finally reaching their table, you set down your plate and settled into a chair.
“How was calc, Y/n? Are you ready to die yet.” Minji asked, concern evident on her face.
“The professor seems absolutely boring and the syllabus might be the death of me but I somehow managed to make friends who are hopefully better at math than I am.”
“Aw baby that sucks,” Jaehyun pouted, reaching across the table to pat your hand, “How about I pay for your dinner tonight, will that cheer you up?”
“Actually I told my friends I’d get dinner with them and one of their friends from high school, the ones from my calc class. I figured you wouldn’t mind since we just hung out the other night. Plus, I’m sure you have girls lining up to go out with you.”
“Oh, yea. Sure, that’s fine. I gave some first year my number during dance, I guess I’ll just ask her instead.” Jaehyun replied, sitting back in his chair while folding his arms across his chest.
“Sweet! Don’t break her heart, got it Jaehyun? I don’t want to deal with another jealous conquest.” You quipped. Jaehyun opened his mouth to respond but a loud slam cut him off. Sicheng had not so gracefully placed his plate on the table before immediately launching into a monologue of just how terrible the semester was going to be. You just looked on in amusement as Minji attempted to placate the fuming man.
❃❃❃❃
The rest of the day passed by rather quickly. You only had one other class that day and you shared it with Sicheng. Mark and Donghyuck had created a group chat with you and would not stop texting you. Initially they had told you the time and location of dinner, but somehow the conversation had spiraled into the pair arguing over who would be the first to fail a course. You liked Mark and Donghyuck. Despite having just met them that day, they brought a breath of fresh air to your previously rather monotonous life. You all had connected so well and so quickly it was hard to fathom that you had only met them that day.
They had told you that dinner was at a small hand drawn noodle shop and that you would all be meeting there. Having time to spare, you decided to begin some of your class work because your professor had already thrown a thirty page reading at you. You were so wrapped up in your work that you almost didn’t realize you were already running five minutes late to dinner. Quickly, you grabbed your bag and headed out of the dorm. Luckily the restaurant was only ten minutes away, six if you ran. In your haste you almost missed Jaehyun standing at a food stand with a girl, the first year, you presumed. Making eye contact, you flashed him a quick thumbs up to which he responded with a wink.
You pulled open the door to the restaurant, spotting Mark and another male sat at a booth. He smiled and waved rapidly at you to come over. As you approached you were able to identify the other male as Kim Doyoung. Jaehyun had marveled at his singing skills more than once; he had shared a vocal class with him the previous year. You had never met him but, from what you had heard, he was nice enough. You smiled brightly and waved as you slid in next to Donghyuck.
“Y/n, this is Doyoung hyung! He may come off a little cold at first but he’s friendly we swear!” Mark exclaimed excitedly.
“Jaehyun’s told me all about your singing skills, you must be pretty damn amazing to have him fawning over you! It’s nice to finally meet you.” You held out your hand to him.
“Yea, I’ve heard about you too.” He deadpanned, slightly glaring at you, leaving your hand empty. You retracted your hand in embarrassment, Donghyuck and Mark awkwardly fidgeting in their seats. The waiter came over and broke the silence, the four of you relaying your orders to him. After the waiter left Mark was quick to ask Doyoung how his day had been and the two fell into a steady conversation. You felt Donghyuck adjust his body to face yours and you did the same.
“Sorry about hyung, noona. He’s not usually this rude, I swear. He must have had a bad day.” From the sound of Mark’s conversation, Doyoung had in fact had a wonderful day, but you accepted Donghyuck’s explanation nonetheless.
“It’s ok Hyuck, some people just take longer when it comes to warming up to new people.” You smiled at him, resting your hand on his forearm. Donghyuck’s face grew warm from both your nickname and your touch. Across the table, Doyoung rolled his eyes with a scoff.
Once your noodles arrived, conversation hit a lull as you all focused on your food. Then Donghyuck challenged Mark to see who could chug their milk teas the fastest. You watched in fascination as they both managed to down their drinks in less than thirty seconds.
“Done!” Donghyuck yelled, slamming his empty cup onto the table. Mark let out a loud groan followed by a series of burps before his hands flew to his stomach.
“I think I drank that a little too fast, I’m gonna run to the bathroom.”
“Me too, excuse me noona!” You moved out of the booth, allowing Donghyuck to pass before sitting back down across from Doyoung. An unsettling silence fell over the two of you as Doyoung glared at you while you fiddled with your phone. Despite not knowing the reasoning behind Doyoung’s obvious dislike towards you, you had an inkling as to why. When you and Jaehyun began your arrangement, it hadn’t taken long for the information to spread. It was inevitable with Jaehyun’s popularity and hundreds of fangirls. Some people didn’t care, deciding they had much better stuff to do than pay attention to the sex lives of their peers. Others, however, especially Jaehyun’s fans, decided that it was in fact their business. The closeness of your relationship didn’t go unnoticed and many speculated as to just how deep your relationship ran. Rumors spread and soon you had your own anti-fan club while Jaehyun’s popularity only seemed to grow. The obvious double standard had caused you to rant to your friends on more than one occasion. Jaehyun had attempted to quell the rumors but it was to no avail.
“Whatever shit you’re trying to pull with Mark and Donghyuck, especially Donghyuck, I suggest you stop it right now.” Doyoung’s clipped voice broke through the silence. You sat there stunned for a moment, trying to formulate a response. Before you could even open your mouth Doyoung cut you off. “I meant what I said earlier, I’ve heard about you. About what you do and all the little games you play, and I’m not about to let those two get wrapped up in all your shit.”
At this, you felt a spark of anger surge through your body.
“Do you think I want to sleep with them? Is that what people think of me now? All these ‘games’ you talk about, I don’t even know what they are, people make up so much shit about me.”
Doyoung only sat there in silence, uncomfortable with your sudden outburst.
“Oh my god this is ridiculous, all because I make out with fucking Jung Jaehyun a few times a week people suddenly think I’m trying to suck everyone’s dick. Do people even realize how many girls Jaehyun gets? Like I don’t care, he can do whatever he wants to do. But I do mind that people hold him on a fucking pedestal while I’ve never even had sex and people write me out as a whore.”
Doyoung fidgeted in his seat, unsure of what to say.
“I’m leaving, I can’t deal with this right now. Just, tell Mark and Hyuck that I had some last-minute work to do.” With that, you threw some money on the table and stormed out of the restaurant. You had barely made it back on campus when your phone lit up, texts from Mark and Donghyuck filling up your inbox. Deciding it best to turn your phone off for the time being, you entered your room. Minji was sat at her desk, turning to face you upon your entrance.
“What are you doing back so early? I thought you were going to dinner with that cute first year, it’s barely been half an hour since you left.” You let out a frustrated sigh before relaying the night’s events. Minji angrily offered to pour some questionable toxins on Doyoung during the chem lab they shared, to which you only laughed.
“I just hope he doesn’t say anything to Mark and Hyuck.”
“If he does then I will slip cyanide into his water bottle.”
“Do they even let you handle cyanide?”
“No, but it’s the thought that counts. You could always just get Sicheng and Jaehyun to beat him up if need be.”
You sighed, falling back onto your bed.
“Why do people suck so much?”
“But not me, right? You love me!” Minji giggled, falling on top of you.
“You suck especially bad.” You responded, shoving her off your bed.
❃❃❃❃
The next morning you turned on your phone to be met with concerned texts from Jaehyun and the Donghyuck Fan Club group chat (Donghyuck had chosen the name and no one was inclined enough to change it). You texted the group chat first, glad to see them respond almost immediately. Then you texted Jaehyun, asking how his date had gone. You chose not to tell him about Doyoung, knowing he might over react. Mark and Donghyuck asked you to eat lunch with them, without Doyoung this time, and you immediately agreed.
When you arrived to the dining hall you were met with the sight of Donghyuck frantically waving his arms at you, drawing you towards his table. He moved his bag from the chair next to him, signaling for you to sit down.
“Mark’s class gets out later so it’s just us for now.” He grinned, wiggling his eyebrows. “Oh, did you finish your essay? I can’t believe your professor gave you an assignment on the first day, what an ass.”
“Essay?”
“Yea, hyung said you remembered you had an essay to write and that’s why you had to leave so early.”
“Oh, right, yea I got it done. Thanks for asking.”
“You really missed out, after we came back from the bathroom Mark accidentally spilled his water on the floor and before he could clean it up a waiter slipped on it. Then I started laughing so hard I knocked over my cup and it landed on the waiter! Oh, also, we’re banned from that restaurant so sorry if you liked it there.” You sat there, dazed by how much of a disaster the pair truly were.
“Is this what it’s going to be like being friends with you?”
“Definitely, you better get used to it!”
You laughed, shaking your head when two hands landed on your shoulders, making you jump in surprise. A loud cackle came from behind you and you turned to be faced with Mark who was moving to sit beside you.
“You almost jumped out of your seat, man you should’ve seen yourself.” His laughter was cut off by Donghyuck delivering a sharp slap to the back of his head.
“Don’t scare my noona like that, Mark! We want her to be our friend, remember?”
The rest of your lunch passed in a similar manner before you had to head to your next class. Waving to the pair, you made your way to the literature building. Reaching out to the door handle, your hand collided with someone else’s. You pulled it back, an apology on your lips before you froze. In front of you stood a rather guilty looking Doyoung. Quickly, you pulled open the door and strode into the classroom. His presence hovered behind you, following you through the rows and sitting down next to you. You opened your mouth, ready to tell him to politely fuck off, but he beat you to it.
“I’m a dick.”
“You can say that again.” You snorted.
“No, really. I-I don’t know why I listened to what other people said. And I definitely shouldn’t have been so quick to judge! I thought a lot about what you said last night, and you were completely right. It’s so fucked up that people give you shit but say nothing about Jaehyun! And it’s especially fucked that people make up so many rumors about you and judge you without even knowing you! I’m not asking for your forgiveness, but I do want you to know I’m sorry. Plus, I’d like to be friends, if it’s possible. You’ve always seemed pretty cool, Mark and Hyuck really like you too, and I trust their judgement when it comes to new friends.”
You sat in silence for a moment, absorbing all he had said. Previously, you had only heard good things about Doyoung and, up until the day before, you had thought he seemed like a nice guy. And he was friends with Mark and Donghyuck and, as Doyoung had said, you trusted their judgement. For the most part.
“Thank you for saying all of that,” you finally spoke up, “I’m not going to forgive you right away, but I am willing to in the future once our friendship grows. For now, let’s start as classmates.”
You held out your hand. “Hi, my name’s Y/n and I’m a sophomore! My friend Jaehyun has told me a lot about your singing skills, you should show me some time.”
“Hi Y/n, I’ve heard a lot about you too but I’ll only let my experiences with you shape what I think of you. And I’d gladly show you my singing some time.” He smiled, shaking your hand.
❃❃❃❃
Doyoung must have told Mark and Donghyuck what had happened, as, by the end of the day, you were placed in a group chat with the three where Donghyuck and Mark were simultaneously apologizing to you and yelling at Doyoung. You let the mess continue for a few minutes before finally butting in and telling them you had worked everything out. You were in the midst of making plans for a redo dinner that night, this time not at the noodle restaurant for obvious reasons, when there was a knock at your door. Before you could reach the handle, the door swung open to reveal a pouting Jaehyun. He walked in and sat down on your bed, arms crossed.
“Hey Jaehyun, why don’t you come in and have a seat.” You rolled your eyes, moving to sit beside him.
“You have no right to be mad at me when you’re the one who’s been ignoring us all day.”
“I’ve been texting you all day and I literally saw Minji an hour ago!”
“Yea but you blew us off at lunch!”
“I texted the group chat to say I’d be eating with other people!”
At that, Jaehyun grabbed his phone and scrolled through the group chat, throwing it back down with a huff when he saw it was true.
“Anyways, grab your bag, we have to leave soon if we’re going to make our reservation.”
“Reservation?” Your face twisted in confusion.
“Yea I’m taking you to that new Italian restaurant. Don’t tell me I forgot to tell you.”
“Hate to break it to you but, you did. And I already made plans to get dinner with other people, it’s kind of important…” You trailed off, biting your lip in anxiousness. This would be the third time you cancelled plans with Jaehyun in two days.
“Oh, ok.”
“Why don’t you take that girl from yesterday? It sounded like you guys had fun.” You nudged him with a smirk.
“She’s going to start getting clingy if I take her out too often, she’s already starting to call me baby.” He whined, rolling over.
“Sorry baby, at least you’ll get good food.” You teased.
“I hate you.”
❃❃❃❃
Weeks passed by and your relationship with your new friends continued to grow stronger. You had finally forgiven Doyoung after he had almost punched someone in the face when they made an off hand comment about you. Despite having explained that you and Doyoung were now ok to her, Minji still threatened to poison him every other week. Your two friend groups were slowly merging into one as you invited Donghyuck, Mark, and Doyoung to hang out in your dorm every once in a while. Minji and Sicheng had immediately adopted Mark as their son, doting on him every time he came over. However, Jaehyun had yet to meet the two younger boys; his posse of girls only continued to grow, keeping him preoccupied whenever he wasn’t hanging out with you one on one.
“Midterms are over shitheads!” Minji yelled, slamming her laptop closed, effectively scaring you out of your nap. “Grab the alcohol, we are having a dorm party tonight!”
“You mean Sicheng’s alcohol?”
“Doesn’t matter, Y/n! We need a night to unwind and let loose after all this god damn stress!” You nodded in agreement and texted Mark Fan Club (Sicheng and Minji had named that one), inviting everyone to your room and asking Sicheng to bring his drinks. The group chat was flooded with responses along the lines of ‘hell yea!’, everyone burned out from their exams. Your room began to fill up as your friends filed in, ready to drink and relax. Half an hour passed before you pulled Sicheng to the side.
“Hey, is Jaehyun coming? He didn’t respond to the chat.” You questioned.
“Oh, didn’t he tell you? He finished his midterms early and decided to go home since he had extra time.” A frown settled on your face at Sicheng’s response. Before you could mull it over for too long, Minji dragged you to the circle that had formed on your floor and shoved you to sit next to Donghyuck, a shot finding its way into your grasp.
“Drink up buttercup! We only have a few days before school’s back on and this hell starts all over again.” All previous thoughts of Jaehyun left your mind as you threw your head back, allowing the bitter liquid to slide down your throat.
Over the course of forty minutes you had somehow allowed Minji to shove three more shots down your throat. In fact, most of your group had drank at least three themselves. Midterms had really hit them hard.
It was the first time you had all gotten drunk together, and it was extremely amusing, to say the least. Minji was cradling Mark in her arms and crying about not wanting him to grow up while Sicheng was lecturing him about his future. Doyoung had fallen asleep half an hour ago and laid his head in Donghyuck’s lap who, in turn, got a marker and began to draw on his friend’s face. You, on the other hand, turned out to be quite touchy and had taken hostage of Dongyuck’s arm, leaning your head on his shoulder, not that he minded.
Putting the finishing touches on his masterpiece, Donghyuck turned to face you with a grin. The two of you sat there, staring at each other in a drunken haze. Donghyuck’s gaze flickered to your lips, beginning to  bring his face closer to yours. Your lips were inches apart when Doyoung jolted awake, knocking his head into Donghyuck’s. Mark had decided to take it upon himself to wake the older up by opening up your water bottle and dumping the remaining contents onto the sleeping boy. Doyoung lunged at him, ready to attack, but was met with a scowling Minji and Sicheng. He quickly retreated, slinking back to sit next to Donghyuck who had been laughing at the whole ordeal. You had barely noticed, too dazed by the almost kiss. Even in your drunken state you could feel your cheeks burn in embarrassment. What the hell was that?
The night began to wind down and, once it was well past one in the morning, you and Minji chased the boys out of your room. Somewhat sobered up you began to clean up the room. You had almost gathered all the cups when you stopped, realizing Minji had been stood staring at you as you cleaned. You faced her, a wide smirk settled across her face.
“What?” You snapped, confusion clear on your face.
“So, you and Donghyuck, huh?”
“I-I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“Oh, don’t think I didn’t see that moment between you two.” Her face smug, arms folded over her chest. “So, do you like him?”
You hesitated. Did you like him? Sure, you’d always found him cute, and you loved his company, but did you have feelings for him?
“I’m not sure yet,” You said with a sigh. “I haven’t really thought about him in that way before…”
“Y/n, babe, it’s fine. Feelings don’t always come and go in the blink of an eye, sometime it’s more gradual. Just, be wary of Jaehyun.” Your brows knitted in confusion but Minji didn’t elaborate, and you chose not to pry. You finished cleaning up, this time with the help of Minji, and went to bed. However, you barely slept, your brain too busy trying to figure out your feelings to fall asleep.
❃❃❃❃
School started up again, slightly distracting you from your feelings, but they were hard to ignore. Donghyuck became an enigma in your life. He either completely forgot about or chose to ignore the almost kiss seeing as he was as clingy as ever. On multiples occasions you found yourself alone with Donghyuck; more often than not it was just the two of you hanging out in each other’s dorm rooms with the occasional Mark or Minji. The tall boy was making it quite hard for you to deny your feelings. Wherever you went he was sure to follow like a lost puppy, not that you minded.
You had just finished up a particularly taxing calculus lecture, your brain practically fried. Mark and Donghyuck began to make plans to go out and grab some boba when an arm wrapped around your waist and pulled you to the side. You turned, ready to attack your offender, only to find yourself face to face with Jaehyun. His gaze went past your figure to glare slightly at the two boys behind you.
“So these are the two kids who have been stealing you away from me.” He said, glare only growing stronger. Anger began to bubble up inside you at his comment. He was the one who never came to a single hang out with them. He had been too busy with his fan club to give his friends the time of day.
“Yea, if you’d come to any of our hang outs you would have met them long ago,” you snapped before gesturing behind you. “Jaehyun, meet Hyuck and Mark, my friends from calculus who can hang out with me without getting a boner.”
“Hey, baby, why are you getting mad at me?” His gaze softened, eyes finally meeting yours. “I’ve missed you and I don’t like that you’ve been blowing me off to hang out with these kids. Why don’t you come over tonight? Sicheng said he’d be more than happy to sleep in your room tonight.”
“Why? Are all your other little friends busy?”
“Y/n, it’s not like that and you know it, you’re one of my closest friends-”
“And that’s just it, isn’t it? Jaehyun, this…thing we have, or had, it was never meant to last. We came into it knowing this. And I think, now it’s time for us to…end.”
Jaehyun grew silent. The hall was empty, Mark and Donghyuck, having decided your conversation wasn’t meant for their ears, had left the two of you alone. Finally, a heavy sigh left Jaehyun’s lips.
“You’re probably right. I just, you’ve been such a constant in my life for the past year, it seems strange to end that part of my life. Plus, you have feelings for that Donghyuck kid, don’t you?”
“Was I that obvious?”
“No, but Minji may have been hinting at it for a while.”
“God I’m going to kill her.”
“But, we can still be friends, right?”
“Of course Jaehyun! We just…can’t be as close as we used to be.”
He nodded in agreement before opening his arms to you. You settled yourself into his embrace as he wrapped his arms around you.
“I love you, Y/n.” He whispered into your hair, placing a soft kiss to the top of your head.
“I love you too, Jaehyun.”
He let you go and gave you a small wave before walking away. You stood there for a moment, trying to absorb every detail of that particular moment. A huge chapter of your life had just closed, and now, another one was waiting to be opened. Satisfied, you made your way to your next class only to turn the corner and be met face to face with two guilty looking boys.
“We were going to give you privacy,” Mark began, “but then we thought, what if he does something to hurt you? So we camped out here and we were just watching over you! We didn’t hear anything I swear!”
You looked over to Donghyuck only to find him avoiding your gaze. Confused, you turned back to Mark who was giving you the most pitiful look he could muster.
“It’s fine guys, really, thanks for caring about me.”
Donghyuck finally looked up from the ground, his face filled with an emotion you couldn’t read.
“Are, are you guys dating or something?” He asked.
“No, we’re not,” you smiled. “We had something for a little bit, but it’s done now. It’s time for us to move on.”
A sigh of satisfaction left his lips before a wide smile spread across his face.
“So, boba?”
❃❃❃❃
It was Saturday when Mark and Donghyuck decided to have a small get together in their dorm. To everyone’s surprise, Jaehyun responded to the group chat saying that he would come.
“You talked to him, didn’t you?” Minji asked.
“Yea.”
“I’m proud of you, babe. It’s over?”
“Yea, it’s over.”
“And Donghyuck?”
You sighed heavily. “I like him.”
Minji nodded, glad that you had finally accepted your feelings. The two of you walked over to the boys’ dorm together in silence. You were just about to open their door when it swung open, nearly hitting in your face.
“Ok, Doyoung hyung, I’ll buy your stupid soju I’m goi-noona!” Donghyuck practically screamed, wrapping you in his arms before lifting you up. You giggled, the smell of alcohol apparent on the boy’s breath. “I missed you so much!” He placed you back on the ground, nuzzling his head into your neck. Minji looked on in amusement, wiggling her eyebrows at you to which you gave her a middle finger in return.
“I saw you in calculus yesterday, Hyuck.”
“Shhhh, don’t mention that death class. Here, come in, I’ll be back in a few minutes after I buy hyung his DAMN SOJU.” He said, yelling the last part.
“Thank you, I looove you.” Doyoung’s voice traveled out of the room.
Donghyuck released you from his grasp and ushered you and Minji inside.
“He so likes you.” Minji giggled once he closed the door behind him.
“Shut up.” You responded through gritted teeth. Minji only skipped over to where Sicheng sat, already slightly inebriated and patting Mark’s head. You sat down next to Doyoung, across from Jaehyun. Upon noticing your presence he offered you a wave and lifted his drink towards you. You smiled, grabbing a drink of your own, and returned the gesture before downing the glass. Doyoung was quick to refill your glass and had just set it down when Donghyuck returned. Doyoung cheered loudly and Donghyuck sat down beside you. Grabbing your drink, he began to chug it before you had the chance to grab it.
“Hey, that was mine!” You pouted, clutching to his forearm. He only laughed before booping your nose and resting his arm over your shoulders.
“You’re so cute noona.” You felt your face flush, snatching your cup from his grasp to refill and drink it yourself. As the night wore on and more drinks were poured, Donghyuck’s arm traveled from your shoulders to your waist before eventually dragging you onto his lap. Mind hazy from the alcohol, you nuzzled your face into his neck, breathing in deeply. He giggled, the rush of air tickling his neck, before moving to place a kiss on your forehead. You sat in silence, eyes closed, focusing on the vibrations of Donghyuck’s chest while he engaged in an animated conversation with Doyoung. A loud crash caused you to look up. Catching Jaehyun’s gaze, he smiled before giving you a thumbs up with a sly wink, causing you to roll your eyes. Refocusing on the mess at hand, you discovered Sicheng had knocked a, thankfully empty, soju bottle off of the dresser. Deciding that it was time to leave, a slightly more sober Minji dragged Sicheng to his feet. Jaehyun announced his leave as well, and Mark informed Donghyuck that he decided to spend the night with Doyoung. While everyone filed out, you moved to get up only for Donghyuck to tighten his hold on you.
“I don’t want you to leave yet, noona.” He whispered against the back of your neck causing a shiver to run up your spine.
“Ok, but can we move to your bed? The floor is a little uncomfortable.” Without bothering to respond, Donghyuck merely lifted you up and brought you to his bed, throwing you onto the mattress before sitting beside you. You sat in silence for a few minutes before Donghyuck turned to face you.
“Noona,” he began, “do you…can you tell me about you and Jaehyun huyng?” You sat up in surprise. Could you tell him, the boy you currently had feelings for, about how you used to be fuck buddies with one of your closest friends?
“You don’t have to,” he spoke, breaking you out of your inner turmoil, “it’s just that, you guys seem to have some history and I guess I was just…curious.”
“Jaehyun and I, we were – are friends. What we were, well we were friends who had sex, to put it bluntly. Friends with benefits.” Donghyuck fidgeted beside you. “But we stopped that part of our relationship, that day he stopped me outside of calc. I didn’t really want to tell you. I mean, you’ve probably heard of all those things people have said about me. Hell, even Doyoung thought those things about me. I’m sorry for not telling you and Mark before I guess I just…didn’t want you to think poorly of me like that.”
At your words Donghyuck suddenly grabbed your face between his hands, anger evident on his face.
“I would never, and I mean never noona, think poorly of you like those…those other dickheads,” he spluttered, searching your face for comprehension before continuing. “I – you’re so nice to us and pretty and beautiful and I…I really like you noona and I really want to kiss you right now.” Your eyes widened in shock, frozen for a split second before you brought your lips crashing onto his. His grip on your face tightened as he moved his lips in sync with yours, pulling you to straddle his lap. Your hands clutched his shirt in tight fists, slowly pulling away to rest your forehead against his. Regaining your breath, you slowly leaned in until you were inches apart.
“I really like you too, Hyuck.”

Astrology Readings 💕
💕Hello! I've decided to start a little commissioning page incase anyone is interested in getting one! If you've enjoyed the way I've interpreted charts or just my personal tid bits on how the signs work, please feel free to message to get more information on doing yours! 💕
🚫Notice: Please be 18+ !! 🚫
STATUES: CLOSED
*stay tuned for when it’s opened again! 💕
Paypal Link 💕
*USD price and whatever it converts to in THB is fine!
WHAT I OFFER 💕:
💕FULL DISCLOSURE: These are rough sketches of work I'll be offering, if you have any questions, feel free to send me an ask/dm me on the Tumblr direct messages (@thechopkins)!  I have my prices fairly cheap since I’m a novice and I’m just doing this for practice, I’ll let you know if I’ve raised the price or if I’m not taking commissions anymore. But I hope to be able to do this as a side hobby for people to learn more about astrology! 💕
PERSONAL READINGS 💕 (needs birth time):
Brief Natal Readings ($10)
(I'll be talking about the things that stood out: your chart shape *if there’s a significance, aspect patterns. Going through your houses and placements one by one, your axis, usually touch decans if I feel we need a closer look at things. Definitely includes asteroids: Juno | Ceres | Pallas | Chiron | Vesta | Lilith | Eros )
I like having a conclusion at the end, something to tie everything together. Usually with these Brief Natal Reading there’ll be a ‘summary’ at the beginning of the reading as well-- to give you a guide of what we got/what to look for, and then we dive into the analysis as we go.
It’s usually around hmm, 30-40 pages? I write in bullet points so that might be why, it’s just easier to read and see that way.)
FULL Natal Readings ($20)
Everything included in the above, but with these:  I like to give a further analysis into it as well.
I usually go for looking at your Rulers-- Chart Rulers, House Rulers, explain your Empty Houses. I take a look at your Draconic's, Whole House (if it makes more sense) Side-reels if it helps. I try to be?? thorough about it?? And explain things carefully if you’re new or need a lil more tutorial or guidance.
Ahhh most people like knowing their dominants, so I include that (full disclaimer it’s the walter-pullen method) --- but I’ll clearly tell you that ‘it’s just for fun’.
I think one thing I should mention about this is that--- it can get pretty intense? And serious?? So usually when we talk/get started I’ll ask if you’re comfortable with me hitting on xx subject, and if you’re uncomfortable with it for any reason at all please tell me so I can move around it and give you the things you need without hitting a sensitive subject. 💕
Usually takes longer to make, I also answer questions you might want to ask. Anything that could potentially be in your chart? There’s a Q&A section if you want.
For those who might want a narrative guide to what each sign does, what each axis, asteroid does. I also have an appendix you can use, but tell me if you’re interested (it’s 20 pages in total so oof) - approx. 60-100 pages? That’s like-- without the appendix.
Note: If you’re interested in Natal Readings here is an answered ask on the Content Outline of What I provide In Further Details
Solar Return Reading -- $15
(It’s always nice to understand how this year is gonna go. Or maybe just this period in your life if you’re having a hard time/want to experiment? I offer these readings as kind of like, a birthday present for yourself. I guess this is what ‘2019 Horoscope’ kinda deal but actually based on your birthchart so it’s ksdjnfkskn probably more personal to you --- approx 15+pages)
Draconic Chart Reading - $15
(For those who wants to get to know their draconics and maybe how to incorporate it into their lives? I look at the Draconic overlaid over the Natal since it gives a lot more insights of how to work with the above and below layers? I know, it sounds mystic as shit but honestly I?? love draconics?? And I rec everything who ever talks to me to go read theirs?? -- Approx 10+ pages )
Brief Persona Reading ($8)
(I have to warn you that I’m still a novice, but I think practice makes perfect. So I’ll be offering only a brief interpretation of reading your persona chart, you can choose which chart you want me to read and I’ll do my best to interpret everything together in the most cohesive way possible  -- approx 4 pages +, definitely low balling, just in case there’s a specific q you want answers to and I don’t have much to write about it since its already in the placement ;; I learnt from my mistakes skdjnfskn)
RELATIONSHIPS READINGS 💕 :
Note: This is for non-idol aka your boyfriend/girlfriend/partner or crush you have a BIRTHTIME with
Synastry Readings ($20)
(I’ve been looking to do some Overlays for a while, so this is where I spend my energy! We’ll look at houses overlays, aspects and your individual want/needs/charts as well. Since the latter is pretty important, it’ll include a brief ‘overview’ for you both individually if you haven’t done a natal reading with me before. Nevertheless, this can be romantic, sexual, platonic, friends, siblings, parent-child, co-workers, classmates. Any relationship you want-- as long as you tell me so I know what I’m looking for/at -- approx 12+ )
Composite Reading ($15)
(This is different from a synastry because composite reading looks at the tonality/dynamic of the relationship overall! 💕 It’s not just trying to mesh two different people together and try to fit them into each other, it’s looking at how they interact with each other and the tone of their relationship. It’s really nice and fun to read, I recommend getting this one as well since it’s abit cheaper than the synastry one ya know - approx 12+)
IDOL READINGS/SHIPS/GROUPS 💕:
MTL - *cap. at 13 members ($10)
Note: If you’re interested in an Outline for MTL readings here’s an answered ask that briefly explains what’s included
4 rankings (one conclusive one and 3 to start off with) because You Always Want To Know What Kind of Dynamic You Can Have With Someone In Full Details -- Platonic, Nemesis or Otherwise.
So I give you 3 rankings (no, trust me it’s NOT an overkill) -- and then we talk about Each Member and Your Aspects With Them. I’ll explain how the dynamic works, the little things about it to overall themes between you. Compare it to other members as we go so you get a cohesive idea of how you fit between all the members (kinda like, compare yourself to them as well).
And then we have a conclusive-- which I give you the last Rank (after the analysis) and explain briefly why I choose that order. You Will See.
Takes like, a day to finish. The Fastest out of all my readings (a day for 7 members, I’m not sure about more than that yet -- 20+ pages)
Compatibility Reading: 1 selected member ($ 15)
DISCLAIMER: It's all fun and games but please remember that your development is most important and no matter how fruitful or positive this dynamic might be, if you don't work on yourself then it's going to be harder to accomplish this 'potential' that you have. Also please don't feel discouraged to ask for the members you think you might not have compatibility with, as long as you like them or your curious, perhaps this can be a new way of looking past archetypes of the signs and help you gain hope in your shared dynamic
I’m gonna be honest with you, sometimes I’ve done reading where the compatibility isn’t positive but I’ll do my best to pull some of it out and give you advice. If I feel really really bad, I include ‘other placements’ that might be good for you instead (or do a little ranking list with the other members so you can feel better with the ‘see and compare’ -- I just don’t want you to feel sad if the outcome isn’t what you wanted ;;
The fun of THIS one tho is that we can look at how THEIR planet falls into YOUR house and how it might conjunct stuff (esp asteroid or axis) and tweak it around 💕 Since we usually don’t have their birthtimes however, we can’t look at how you would impact/fall into their houses. 💕Approx 8+ pages (low-balling, just incase-- y know, some people just don’t have many aspects?? ;; it happens)
HOW IT GOES 💕:
If you’re interested, here’s some directions on how to contact me! 💕
Please send a direct messaging (chat-system) to @thechopkins 💕(Since this blog has an editor/member besides me, we can’t use the messaging system right now) 💕
PS. If you’re not sure what exactly you’re looking fo, we can figure it out together as well ;; 💕
If you already know what you’re going for, I'll let you know what I’m (possibly) backed up on or if I can get started right away 💕 And then I’ll ask for your birth day, birth place and if possible your most accurate birth time! 💕
Once I have your information/type of reading, I’ll let you know how long it’ll take (since sometimes I’m stocked up, I don’t want you to wait/get anxious about it so you can just tell me!) --- and I’ll make your chart, confirm it with you again so you can check if anything’s amiss (sometimes people are -- specific about that) 💕
I’ll go over the questions, like if you have a preferred name/pronouns, if you’re comfortable with sexual stuff, sensitive stuff. 💕I’ll double check again throughout the reading when I touch on it, especially since some might be--- really sensitive and I just want to see if you’re doing ok/need some comfort in your reading about how to get better (I usually include like, little advice/productive things you can do anyways) 💕
I’m good at--- well, talking to you when I’m working. So most likely you WILL know that I’m working on your chart because I Will Be Constantly Talking To You The Entire Time 💕
Ah, and I usually insist you don’t pay me until I finish the reading. I’ll tell you when I do, and then I take payment through paypal 💕
After that, I’ll ask for your email and send you a lil message and the PDF reading 💕
If you want it in any other format, feel free to let me know! 💕
💕That’s all I have for now! Again, I’m still a novice at astrology so all that I’m offering is just my experience/interpretations and current knowledge in the field.
If you’re looking for a traditional/someone who has been working in the field for longer than a few years, I can recommend/point you to a few astrologers who might be interested! 💕
Generally I'm pretty enthusiastic about learning/talking about astrology, I’m not really doing this professionally, but if you feel like it’s easier to talk to me/want some help, I talk on my dm pretty often so feel free to drop by and I’ll do my best! 💕

A piece of the past
Request: JamesxLily and I would love it to have a bit of Sirius and maybe of lil Harry too. But it’s okay with only Jily too. You keep the plot and everything like you want to, I’ll love it anyway! <3 ~ @jily-live-on aka my wonderful S
Ship: Jily A/N: My first request ever! I’m so happy that it was from you, S!  A/N2: Ok, so, I cried. The writing drove me crazy, didn’t feel too confortable using past tense, so if anybody sees a mistake, please let me know! Hope you all like it! Word count: 1,9k
James Potter was not the kind of guy that gets scared easily.
“Hand me the towel. Quickly!”
He had become an animagus during his teen years, without any adult’s help…
“Faster Pads, this is horrible!”
… because he was friends with a werewolf…
“I can’t- Did you find it?”
“I’m not good at doing things under pressure, Prongs!”
… he had fought against Dark wizards...
“Are you sleeping or what? This is getting out of hands!”
“It’s coming! Resist a bit mo-”
Tunk
… dealt with wicked magical creatures during his time at Hogwarts…
“How am I supposed to do this?”
“I don’t know, mate. Let me have a few seconds to recover, I just tripped over a giant lizard and almost broke my teeth.”
… asked Lily Evans out…
“That’s what happens when you don’t watch your steps. Just throw it away. The towel?”
… at least a hundred times…
“The tow- Stop looking at yourself in that mirror, you self-obsessed idiot!”
“I told you I almost got disfigured, you four-eyed moron!”
… he was brave, a true Gryffindor…
“Hand the bloody towel, Pads. And come help me, I can’t hold it much longer!”
“It’s your fight, don’t- What the hell is that?”
… but some things are bound to destabilize a 21-years-old man.
“That’s called a diaper.”
Under Sirius’ curious look, James tried, for the umpteenth time, to secure Harry in his diaper, with no better result than the previous attempts.
When his wife asked him to look after the baby a couple of hours before, James accepted, considering that he had enough experience, now, to deal with the situation. But apparently, after almost a year of being a father, he was no closer to knowing how to take care of his son than Dumbledore to rejuvenate.
“And how do you know which part is the front and which is the back?”
He also thought that Sirius’ help would make it all easier. His plan was to feed the child, put him to sleep, and then play wizarding chess with his best friend. But then again, it was easier for Nearly Headless Nick to enter the Headless Hunt.
“I guess this is the front. I’m 99% sure. Okay, maybe just 98%. Anyway, Lily’ll be up in no time.”
The real reason that had pushed James to be alone with the baby -- because being with Sirius at that moment was as good as being alone -- was because he wanted Lily to have some rest. The loneliness, the pressure, and the sleepless nights were starting to feel heavy on her shoulders.
“Well, I’m telling you, I’m glad to be single.”
Hurried steps coming from the stairs made the young men look up from the changing table. When they heard a series of loud bangs and disgruntled mumbles, their gazes met in a frightened coordination.
“James Potter! Sirius Black!” The cry, echoing from the living room, belonged to a half-preoccupied, half-enraged Lily.
After losing a rock, paper, scissors battle with Sirius, and taking what was left of his courage with both hands, James stepped in the next room, finding himself to be facing nothing but darkness. Remembering that he had closed the curtains in his effort to put Harry to sleep, he took a few steps toward the window, bumping into a pair of boots on the way.
When the feeble sun rays illuminated the interior of the house again, the young man turned over to look at his wife. Her nap did her good, by what he saw, as she looked more fresh than in the past days. But a rested Lily was also a more high-tempered Lily.
“Yes, darling?” James let out in a shy tone.
“James Fleamont Potter,” she said in a shaky voice, probably because she was trying to hold back her anger. “I take a few hours of peace and leave you in charge, and look at the state of the house!”
For the first time in the afternoon, James shot a glance at his surroundings, and he couldn’t help but understand Lily’s mood: Never, in his life, had he seen a more upside down room. Rests of baby food were spread on the couch; Sirius’ backpack laid open on the floor, its content dispersed here and there; there was a jumble of clothes in the middle of the room; something - feathers? - was showing from under an armchair; a broken vase had released its water and flowers everywhere; the big lizard toy on which Sirius had tripped was sticking his tongue out to James, from the corner where it had been dumped after the attempted disfigurment; an odd looking green substance was hanging from the roof; and Lily was blocked behind a mountain of old books, built by the men earlier in their attempt to stop Harry from climbing the stairs.
When James freed her with a flick of his wand, they were both surprised by a rather outraged ginger cat zooming away from the spot.
“There you were, Nuts! You should have told us that you liked to read so much!” joked the man, but his wife’s serious glance made him quiet again. Apparently, she didn’t believe that trapping the cat under the whole content of the bookshelf was a good idea.
“Do I have to worry about my child, or is he still alive?” asked the woman after a pause.
For a response, a disheveled and totally soaked Sirius got out of the bathroom, holding a pink and chubby mass wrapped in a towel. “Hi, Lily, had a nice rest?”
Answering with just a smile, she approached him to take the babbling baby in her arms.
“How’s baby Harry?” she said in the sweetest voice ever heard from her.
A small hand extricated itself from under the cloth to clumsily caress Lily’s face, ending up pulling her nose.
“Mommy loves you too,” laughed the woman, and then she added, “And as you look like you’re enjoying your time with your Godfather, Mommy is going to have a small talk with Daddy in the kitchen.”
Lily didn’t notice, as she was busy kissing Harry’s feet and laughing with him, the silent conversation between the two men.
“You are not leaving me alone with the monster,” mouthed Sirius.
“I’m going to have a worse time than you,” mouthed back James, pointing at Lily with his head.
“You four-eyed traitor,” said the former with his eyes.
“You self-obsessed coward,” glanced back the latter.
Some fog, a gray garden, an empty street, and a lot of rain: That’s all that James managed to see from the window of the kitchen.
“Quite a depressing scene,” he thought.
Then, his gaze went back to the red-haired woman that was standing in front of the stove, stiring some hot chocolate.
“Now, this is a view,” he said to himself.
With her lose hair and sparkling green eyes, she looked as gorgeous as she did during their Hogwarts years. The shadows under her eyes and the preoccupation that contracted her traits were the only proofs that some time had passed since when they were teenagers without a bigger concern than their Potions marks.
James still couldn’t believe that, finally, Lily Evans -- no, Potter, please -- was his wife. And it had been two years or so since the wedding.
After a few seconds, he cleared his throat, recalling the “small talk” she wanted to have, and considering that the sooner it was over, the better.
“Um, darling?”
She turned her head to look at him, apparently lost in her thoughts.
“What did you want to talk about?” the man asked.
An expression of comprehension, soon replaced by a childish grin, relaxed her face.
“Oh, nothing,” she explained, “We’ve been locked in here for almost a year now, but with Harry we barely have time to spend together. I was just taking advantage of Sirius’ presence to be alone with you.”
A rush of deep love toward his wife ran through James’ body, and he moved to hug her, burying his face in her flower-scented, flaming-red hair. For a moment, he wondered whether Harry would have such a strong attraction as him toward redheads, but then he pushed the thought aside: There was just a chance in a million.
Meanwhile, Lily’s hands closed around her husband’s waist, fists clenching the soft wool of his sweater, a Christmas gift by Molly Weasley. She rested her head on his chest, feeling his heartbeat and synchronizing her breathing with his. Her eyes closed, she silently hoped that Harry would turn out to be like him: a handsome, caring, brave man.
Suddenly, she realized something: What if James and her were not there to raise him? What if something happened to them? With their parents gone and Petunia and Vernon not wanting to come any closer than one mile, she felt no support.
“Don’t worry, darling, we’ll be fine,” she heard, “We love each other, we love Harry, and we have friends that love us. Everything is going to be alright.”
It was as if James had read in her mind.
“Do you promise?” she asked in a frightened, naive tone, very unusual to her.
What are promises in times of war? He didn’t want to lie to her, but he loved her so much. He knew he would do anything to keep her safe. To keep Harry, the fruit of their love, safe.
“I’ll do my best.”
He grabbed her chin and pulled her lips toward his, kissing her as he did during their first date: shyly, but pouring all his adoration into this simple action.
During their embrace, they felt plainly happy, forgetting the chaos that was submerging the world and all the difficulties and miseries that were awaiting outside. They were protected by this force that only the pure hearts can produce: the force of love.
Unfortunately, their moment of quiet couldn’t last long.
“My p- Harry! Harry no! Help!”
With a reluctant smile, James and Lily pulled apart.
“Poor Sirius. Harry can’t even walk properly, and his Padfather is already overcome,” remarked James.
“Imagine when he’ll start to talk,” said Lily dreamily.
“When he’ll go to school for the first time…”
“When he’ll have his first crush…”
“When he’ll be in his teenager crisis…”
“Argh! That leather jacket was new!”
“I guess we better go help him,” whispered Lili.
“Yeah, maybe,” answered James, and after a quick kiss on her cheek, he left the kitchen. “Reinforcements are coming Sirius!”
Remaining alone, Lily smiled to herself: This evening, she would have to bear with three children. Then, she stepped in the next room as well, ready to have a pillow fight or whatever else the guys were preparing.
The next hours went by between jokes and laughter. The photo album was commented -- “Sirius! There are more pictures of you at our wedding than of us!” -- and pictures were taken to fill it. Songs were sung -- “Stop singing, James, you’re frightening Harry!” -- and poems were written -- “What do you mean by ‘roses are red, violets are blue, Lily’s cute but not you’?” -- until the four peacefully fell asleep on the living room couches, wrapped by the silence of the night.
Untouched, on the dining table, stood the two mugs of hot chocolate, which, after all, were not needed by the newlyweds to bring back a piece of their past.

prince!taeyong au (a bulleted scenario)
Tumblr media
a/n this wasn’t a request but i’ve just been getting prince feels from taeyong lately, i didn't know how to end it ok i wrote this in an hour!!! also, announcement..... I’M SEEING NCT 127 IN MANILA NEXT MONTH!!! IM CRYING!!!! IM SO EXCITED!!!! I GOT TICKETS RIGHT NEXT TO THE STAGE IM CRYING!!!! AND.... NOT ONLY AM I SEEING THEM PERFORM BUT... I ALSO GOT A PHOTO OP PASS. IM MEETING THEM. IM ACTUALLY CRYING I CAN’T BELIEVE IT ITS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE SO IM TYPING THIS BUT IT DOESNT FEEL REAL TO ME OK IM SORRY IM SO PARANOID
masterlist
request
genre: fluff
first off, i wanna clarify that this is kind of a mix of modern and past??? U get it
ok so,,, he looks like a prince
as a prince, i think taeyong would be the kindest most respectable dude EVER
like he genuinely cares about his people
everyone loves him basically
he literally goes out of his way to meet his people
and he’s gonna be crowned as king pretty soon since his father's getting old
and in all honesty, he’s not ready to make decisions and stuff like that
he thinks he's not ready but imo he is but i don't have a say im jus the writer
okay so onto you….
you’re just from the middle class, nothing special
you’ve never seen the prince despite him making regular visits to the village
you think his whole acts of kindness thing is just a scheme to get the people to like him as a king
so let's say you’re really adventurous, you’re always in the woods or whatever that's why you’ve never seen prince taeyong
so one time late at night you’re just really bored and can’t seem to fall asleep
so you decide to go into the woods and just walk around or something
you really shouldn’t do that u could be eaten by wolves or something
but yeah ANYWAY you’re walking around in the woods it's been like an hour dude
then you see this tiny hole that looks like an entrance between two trees
you’re like ooooo spooky so u go check to see what's on the other side
and it's a really pretty garden,,, like ,, it's an actual garden with lanterns and a lil pond and it's just so pretty it doesn’t look real
so while you’re looking around you see this dude obviously taeyong sitting by the pond and u jump a bit but he doesn’t seem to notice your presence
he’s just lying there with his eyes closed, humming some tune
so u go closer and ur like “are you awake”
and he opens his eyes in shock kinda and hes like “oh shit someone saw me”
and you’re just thinking oh this dude is wearing expensive clothes he must be rich and ur like “who are you???”
and then it hits him that you don’t know he’s the prince
he’s like “oh…. i’m TY” and you’re like “that's a weird name but ok i’m y/n”
he nods and you’re like “so did you make this? do you come here often TY?” and he’s like “my grandfather did when i was little. and yeah i come here when i can’t sleep or when something's on my mind”
you’re like “so which one is it?”
he’s like ??? and ur like “can’t sleep or is there something bothering you?”
he’s like “oh….kinda both, but more of the latter”
you’re like “you wanna talk about it?” he’s like “its nothing, its just that i have to do something that involves a lot of decision making that i’m not ready to do yet”
you’re like “oh well whatever it is i’m sure you’ll be ready, you seem like a really reliable guy TY” and he’s smiling bc this is coming from your heart and you’re not just saying this bc he’s the prince
taeyongs like “so how about you? what brought you here?” and you’re like “i dunno i just couldn’t sleep”
so you two are just enjoying the silence and also getting to know each other a bit
you’re like “you must be from a noble family huh?” and he nods and you’re like “so does that mean you’re attending the prince’s coronation next week?”
he’s like “uhh idk i might” and you’re like “you know i’ve never seen the prince, but i always hear stuff about him being a really nice guy but i think that's all just crap to get the public's approval” this kinda offends him and he frowns but he’s like “or maybe he’s just a really nice guy”
and you’re like “you know i could see it that way if i didn’t have this bias against royals, they seem really stuck up, im just hoping this prince isn't the same”
taeyongs like “he isn’t. i’ve met him, he’s passionate about helping his people”
and ur like “hmmm i’ll give him a chance”
then u realize it's almost 4 am and you get up
you’re like “i’ll see you around TY” and he’s like “you can find me here every night if you want” and you’re like “i’ll take note of that”
so the next night you guys meet again and you get to know each other a lot better, talking about each other's favorite colors, food, fears, music. he tells you stories about his life, places he’s been to, you’d pretty much just talk for hours.
you’ve been meeting for about 8 nights now, and in the day he’d be on your mind and you’d be on his, and you eventually realize that your heart flutters when you see him waiting for you in the hidden garden
so basically you’ve fallen for him and his stories and just everything about him in just a matter of 8 days
on the 9th night, your feelings were just running through your body and you were like screw it i’m confessing tonight
you’re really nervous as you make your way to the garden, but he isn't there
this kinda upsets you but then you remember it's the prince’s coronation tomorrow, and TY coming from a noble family, was probably busy with preparations
so you leave, deciding on just telling him about your feelings the following night
so in the day, your family drags you to watch the parade of the new king with them, much to your dismay
you’re just looking around for TY, hoping he’s somewhere here
then you hear the crowd yelling for the king
you look up at the float and you’re IN SHOCK
like ,,, REALLY
your mouth is hanging wide open and your mother lightly slaps your arm telling you to bow in respect
and as you’re bowing you look up and you and taeyong’s eyes lock
you both have a look of shock on your faces and before you know it the float has passed you
and you’re just dumbfounded the whole day
in your head you’re like ,,,, ‘i’ve been talking to the prince this whole time… i’ve told him things that could get me killed…… and….. I HAVE FEELINGS FOR HIM’
so ur very slightly angry so at night you go off to the garden again thinking he won’t be there bc he’ll be too busy at his party
but there he is, sitting by the pond in his royal clothing
he looks exactly like he did when you first saw him, lying next to the pond with his eyes shut
you quietly go near him and you’re like “what’s up king taeyong”
this time he doesn’t even bother opening his eyes he’s like “it’s TY to you”
then he sits up and stares at you and he’s like “are you mad that i didn’t tell you”
you’re like “i was, but i kinda understand why you didn’t”
he’s like “so are you gonna start treating me differently now”
you’re like “i don’t think you’d want that so i won’t”
and he smiles at you which makes your heart MELT
you're like “so why aren’t you at your celebration”
he’s like “i ditched and told them i was tired”
you laugh and you’re like “that's a good way to start off as king”
you’re like “so is this the thing that was bothering you the first night we met, the thing you said you weren’t ready to do??” and he nods
you’re like “from what i know about you, i think you’re going to be a great king, don’t worry too much, i believe in you”
he’s like “that means a lot, especially since it's coming from you”
ur like “huh???” and he leans in and holds u softly be the cheeks and kisses you
and your heart is JUMPING
you both pull away and he’s like “i’ve been wanting to do that” and you’re like “honestly, same.”
he’s like “i ended up developing feelings for you, you got to know me as taeyong and not prince taeyong, just taeyong.” and you’re like “i feel the same way for you, you were so genuine as a person and i just couldn't get you off my mind”
he’s like “you’re not just saying that bc i’m the king?” you know he’s joking but u put a fake hurt face on and he tackles u into a hug
you’re like “ok but you know we aren’t going to be allowed to be together right?” and taeyongs like “well why not? everythings being modernized now, who’s to say i can’t be with the person i’ve fallen for? i’m the king”
and you just spend the rest of the night cuddling in the garden
he introduces you to his parents and they agree on keeping your relationship a secret until his term as king is long enough
he hires you to work in the palace just to spend time with you
its cute you’d be serving him tea and you’d bow and he’d take it then give you a peck on the cheek
you’d still go to the hidden garden with him, it would be your place and it would just be sacred for you two
and you live happily ever after
end

“Nicknames” Dean x Reader
Description : The thought crossed your mind sometimes that maybe Dean didn’t care about you. Little did you know his nickname for you was different than the nicknames he had for everyone else.
You were in yet another trashy motel room staring at the ceiling as Sam clicked away at his laptop. Dean was nowhere to be found, ditching both you and Sam to “celebrate” your last successful hunt. Of course you weren’t invited. He usually just went to local bars whenever he wanted to, sometimes forgetting to alert you or Sam.
So you weren’t usually invited, not that it bothered you anyways. You knew if you went to the bar with him, he would end up ditching you anyways, going around and hitting on anything that moved. Then he would end up leaving the bar with whatever he ended up pulling in for the night, leaving you to catch a sketchy ride back to your motel. Let’s just say you learned from experience and you weren’t too keen on it happening again.
Lately the thought had crossed your mind that maybe Dean didn’t care about you. He had left you at that bar once and never really asked you to go out and do something like that again. You tried to shake the sad thought out of your head. It made you even more frustrated that you rendered the thought as “sad” to begin with. You wouldn’t let yourself get upset about Dean Winchester. Anyone but him.
You had also been struggling with trying to come to terms with the fact that you maybe did have feelings for the Winchester brother. You hated the idea of it. He was unattached, sometimes annoying and very stubborn. But on the other hand, he was attractive, funny and on hunts he was always very protective of you. This time you had to physically shake the thought out of your head to make you stop thinking of such a stupid thing. You were getting angrier with yourself by the second.
You let out a big sigh of frustration, eyes still glued to the ceiling. Sam, sitting on a chair on the other side of the room, turned towards you. He sat there looking at you with a slightly knowing yet slightly concerned look on his face. After a minute, you intercepted his gaze. You sat up. “What are you looking at?” You asked irritably. Sam shook his head.
“Oh nothing,” he said plainly, “it’s just the fact that you’re obviously in love with my brother.” You whipped your head towards Sam.
“I most certainly am not!” You retorted defensively.
“Ok, whatever helps you sleep at night.” Sam muttered just loud enough for you to hear.
“You have no idea what you’re talking about Sam.” You said.
“Yeah,” Sam replied, “but I know that when you get angsty you stare at the ceiling.”
“Do not!” You said as you fell back onto your bed, eyes going back to the ceiling. Sam shook his head. “See. Told you.” You sat back up and scowled at him.
“So maybe I’m a little frustrated. It doesn’t mean anything.” You said. There was a small silence before Sam asked, “What makes you so sure that he doesn’t like you?” You decided to ignore his question as you pondered it in your head. You had always thought of Dean as being a one-night-stand only type of guy. It was weird to think about him actually having feelings for someone long term. You had never really thought about it. Even though you thought sometimes that you had feelings for Dean, you had never thought about him having any feelings back. He definitely didn’t act like it.
“Well if he did, I don’t think he would be hooking up with some random chick right now, which we both know he’s doing, so if you’ll excuse me I’ll go ‘angst’ in the bathroom so you can’t judge me.”  You got up off the bed and closed the bathroom door behind you, leaving Sam to do some more research.
An hour later --------
You had decided to come out of the bathroom as you gave Sam a slightly irritated “goodnight.” You flopped down into your motel bed and looked over at the clock on your nightstand next to you. The clock read 2 am. You weren’t surprised that Dean wasn’t back yet as you pulled the covers over your head and turned over.
To your surprise it was only a couple minutes later before you heard Dean’s heavy boots echoing through the motel hallway. They sounded a bit off and then it hit you. He was either injured... or totally hammered. You went with the latter and you decided to pretend that you were asleep so you wouldn’t have to deal with drunk Dean.
The footsteps seemed to come to a stop outside the door which was followed by Dean pounding on the door.
“Dean is that you?” Sam said through the door.
“Y-yeah... Friggin’ duh it’s me Sammy.” Dean responded, his words slightly slurred. You heard the door unlock and a drunken Dean stumble into the room.
“Seems to me like you had a good time.” Sam said. You head Dean mumble something that you couldn’t make out and Sam follow it up with “Good talk buddy. Get some sleep, you have a nice hangover to look forward to in the morning.”
You almost blew your cover as you were almost bounced out of bed as Dean flopped down on it. It half scared you to death as well, you weren’t expecting him to flop down on your bed.
“Y-you know what Sammy... You’re just a lil shit sometimes.. y-you know that. Yeahhh, that’s my nickname for yah Sammy... Lil shit.” Dean said, again his words slurred.
“Ok, Dean. That’s great-” Sam started.
“And Cas too... His nicknames... His... His nicknames yeah his nicknames dweeb. Cas is a total dweeb.” You almost couldn’t contain yourself from under the sheets. It was hilarious how Dean sounded so sure of himself, even when he was drunk rambling. Sam sounded like he was enjoying himself too.
“Anyone else got a special nickname Dean?” Sam asked a very drunk Dean as he laughed to himself. Dean giggled. “Oh hell yeah! Bobby’s totally asshat... And uhhh. Don’t tell y/n... but she’s sexxxxxxxyyy.” Dean kept giggling and you swore you could hear Sam mutter an “I knew it” under his breath. You could feel yourself turn red. You almost sat up, but you didn’t as you tried to fall asleep to a very drunk, giggling Dean Winchester beside you.
The next morning --------
You woke up, sheets still covering your face, and immediately pushed them off. Dean almost gave you a heart attack when you saw him in your bed next to you. He started to shift and opened his eyes. You saw an opportunity and took it.
“So... I’m sexy?” You asked mischievously. Dean groaned and sat up next to you. “Oh shut up,” he responded groggily, “I was drunk and I thought you were asleep... God, my head hurts like hell.”
“That’s what you get for partying all night Dean.” You said. Dean picked up a pillow and swatted you with it. You laughed. “Oh come on what did you expect? Not to get a hangover and get that drunk?”
“Oh shut up you lil shit.”
“I thought that was Sam.” You replied still laughing. Dean groaned again, but you continued. “So you don’t think I’m sexy then?”
“I never said that.” Dean replied as he scooted closer to you.
“So you do then?” Dean sighed. His eyes locked with yours, he slowly leaned in and then his lips were on yours. The kiss was gentle and different than you imagined. Maybe he wasn’t so uncaring after all. After a minute he pulled away, “Does that answer your question? He asked. You nodded and before you knew it you were kissing again. Neither of you heard Sam open the door and say “Well I guess I’ll just... yeah.” and leave again.

YOI Child AU ! First OS ~
Ok seriously, you guys deserve to know how the Child AU happened. So, @rilya-dewilder and myself were kinda angry (understatement) with all the hate in the Otayuri tag lately (aaannnd we both ship Otayuri like hell. Seriously. That ship will be the death of me and I love it more than my life. Moving on ~) so we got an idea to troll em. Annnnd thus, this OS was born. But it ended up being too good of an OS to actually let antis read it (ok no seriously, I don’t know if it’s actually good since I’ve only had one person read it, and although I’d never doubt Riri’s tastes in fanfcition, I’m worried about the quality of my own work lmao) Anyway, I hope you’ll enjoy reading it, sorry if there are grammar or spelling mistakes (and feel free to tell me if you spot any !) !! And while tumblr isn’t really a fanfiction platform (well... isn’t supposed to be lmao) I’d be really glad if you could provide me with some constructive criticism to help me improve >W< OS under the cut !
A/N: Steven is Mystery Man’s name (I’ve seen people calling him that so I just kinda went with it lol)
Such a nice and sunny winter afternoon rarely came in St Petersburg. What was even more rare was that both Viktor and Yuuri had managed to get a day off.
The latter was peacefully taking a nap on one of the couches, Makkachin laying at his feet. He had been pushing himself too hard lately, given that plenty of old ladies in town needed help with their grumpy cats and other ill puppies. Moreover, he had been taking in wandering pets that their owners had lost or abandonned, and currently was dedicating himself to finding them new homes. That’s why Viktor didn’t dare waking him up, choosing instead to enjoy some time with the children. Ever since Ekaterina and Dmitri had been made part of the family, Viktor’s daily life had become both a mess and an everlasting party, full of the ‘L words’; namely, ‘Love', and ‘Life'. If it was hard for him to manage his job as an assistant coach, it was even harder to deal with Yakov’s frequent angry rantings about the drama queen team he was training that season. And Viktor being their second coach did nothing to ease him. The living legend of Russia chuckled, suddenly remembering Yuri’s face upon learning he was to choreograph his free skate.
‘Why are you laughing, Daddy ?’ Ekaterina asked when she heard him.
They were watching Anastasia, a movie they all loved. Dmitri often would joke that the male lead had been named after him; while Ekaterina would tell him to shut it and watch the movie. They were eight and eleven, respectively, and thankfully none of them had begun their rebellious phase, although Dmitri had taken a bit of a sharp tongue from Mila.
‘Just wondering whether Guang Hong is mad at Yuri for getting gold again or not.’
‘He wouldn’t’, Dmitri objected. ‘They're friends. Also, Guang Hong is a good sport, unlike some people…’
‘Are you implying that Uncle Yura isn’t a good sport ?!’
They exchanged a very serious look. And then, Dmitri snorted, and started laughing uncontrollably. His loud laugh woke Yuuri up.
‘Dmitri…? Oh, I thought you were screaming because of something…’
‘Don't mind him, Papa’, quickly said Ekaterina. ‘He's just being dumb and rude towards Uncle Yura.’
She went near the couch, kissed her father, and then went back to watching her movie. Yuuri yawned, then shot a look at his phone.
‘Ah, speak of the devil. I got a text from Yurio.’
‘What's he saying ?’ Dmitri asked eagerly.
‘His plane has just landed ! He’s exhausted, though, so I don’t know if we should invite him for dinner…?’
‘Of course we should !’ the young girl said, tugging at Yuuri’s t-shirt. ‘I bet he missed your katsudon ! Also, it’s been a while since we’ve last seen him.’
‘It’s barely been a week.’
‘That's too long !’
Smiling, Viktor ruffled his daughter’s platinum blonde hair. She pouted, muttering something along the lines of ‘stop treating me like a baby !’.
‘She's right, though. A week might be nothing for old geezers like you but…’
‘What did you just call us ?!’ Viktor screamed before throwing himself at his husband. ‘Yuuri, did you hear that ?! He called us, old geezers. Old geezers ! We’re barely in our mid-late-something-thirties, Yuuri ! Are we really that old ?! And who taught him that, anyway ?!’
‘I'm guessing it’d be Yurio’, the ex-skater sighed.
‘Old geezers !’
‘At least, it’s better than… What was it, last time ?’
‘Out-of-date dinosaurs. Something like that. Yuuri am I old ? … Am I getting even more white hair ?! Is it getting thinner ?!’
‘Daddy, your hair is silver’, Ekaterina muttered.
She was more than used to her father being all dramatic about getting older. She, for one, couldn’t wait until she was old enough to compete in the senior ice-skating category. While Dmitri had given up on the sport, being more fond of reading or learning how to play the guitar, she loved ice-skating and was aiming to win at least six World Cups, to beat Viktor’s record, even though she wouldn’t compete in the same category.
‘Ah, I got another text.’
‘Are you not going to pay attention to me, Yuuri ?’
‘I'm paying attention to you every night, Vitya.’
‘... Smooth.’
The children exchanged a puzzled look. The adults were so very weird sometimes… All they knew was that they were doing ‘nasty adult stuff’. And they honestly didn’t want to know what that was.
‘He says that he’s gonna go home first to get rid of his stuff and hug every single cat he owns. And then he’ll come. Says he missed you two as well !’
‘How sweet of him. A few years back, he’d have gone with ‘who needs some dumb katsudon anyway. Still coming though, ain’t gonna let you waste your money over some rubbish.’’
Ekaterina’s eyes widened. Her Papa was the best cook in the entire world, she was sure of it.
‘Would Uncle Yura really say that ?’
‘Haven't you seen the photos ? He used to be such a drama queen - and, according to Dad, a tsundere.’
‘Dmitri, how do you even know what a tsundere is ?’ Yuuri sighed.
‘Went on a website called ‘tumblr'. There’s a fan page - well, over ten thousands, really - for the ‘Ice-Skating Prodigy Family’. Which apparently is made of the three of you. Ekaterina isn’t there, though.’
‘That’s because I’m still a junior competitor !’
‘Dmitri, don’t go on tumblr ever again, please.’
‘Why ? I mean, the fan page is pretty cool. There’s a lot of pictures of y’all. Like that one time you two skated together at the 2016 GPF Exhibition Gala. Pretty sure you wouldn’t fit in your costumes anymore !’
‘Dmitri, that was unnecessarily mean, and offensive, and rude.’
The boy rolled his eyes, and both men couldn’t help but do the same. He was taking a lot after Yuri. Feeling like getting in an argument would ruin the mood, Viktor paused the movie and turned to both the children, and his husband.
‘He'll want to eat katsudon and pirozhki, knowing him. Maybe we should make him some.’
‘Daddy, please don’t put a single toe in the kitchen’, Ekaterina begged. ‘Last time, when we tried to bake a cake for Uncle Otabek’s birthday, you managed to turn it green. Green, Daddy.’
‘That was -’
‘Definitely not an accident’, Dmitri smirked. ‘It's when you actually cook something edible that it is.’
‘Hey ! I’m not that bad, and -’
‘Also, both Yurio and Otabek got sick for two whole days after that. If I remember well, Yurio tried to kick you in the face with his skates when he got better.’
This shut Viktor down. He pouted, slowly went back to sitting on the couch, and tightly hugged Makkachin while pretending to cry.
‘Do you hear that Makkachin. This family hates me. This family hates me, Makkachin. What have I ever done to deserve that.
‘Vitya, I swear to… Ugh. Nevermind. We’re going to make that katsudon and those pirozhki.’
‘Yuuri is so cruel to me Makkachin. He hates me.’
The black-haired man rolled his eyes again, then went into the kitchen without his husband noticing his smirk. I’ll hug him later.
The two children listened carefully to Yuuri’s instructions, and even though there were some… flour battles when making the pirozhki, everything went rather smoothly. They had barely been done cleaning the kitchen that they heard the bell ringing, and Viktor went to get the door. He had stopped sulking, at least it seemed he did, because when he saw Yuri, he immediately shot him his heart-shaped smile and gave him a tight hug.
‘Viktor, stop, I’m suffocating and besides this is embarrassing, also -’
‘Uncle Yura !’
Ekaterina ran to hug the blonde, mercilessly pushing her father out of the way before she crashed onto the young man’s torso, crushing his bones in an even tighter hug.
‘Ekaterina, I can’t fucking breathe’, he muttered. His skinny built had never been much for bone-crushing hugs, especially the Katsuki-Nikiforov daughter’s.
‘No swearing, Yurio !’ Yuuri claimed before hugging him as well.
‘Yeah, yeah. Beka said he’d be coming later, he wanted to finish washing his bike before that. Is that okay ?’
They went inside, and Yuri had a bit of a hard time dealing with an over-excited Makkachin - the dog really did like him, and even though Yuri was definitely more of a cat person, he actually had nothing against him and even played with him a little.
‘Where's Dmitri ?’ he asked after Viktor had managed to calm Makkachin down.
As soon as he asked, the brown-haired boy came dashing from the corridor.
‘Papa !’
He threw himself onto the blonde’s back, and the latter, unused to having unexpected weight being thrown at him, fell down on his knees as his son started tickling him.
‘Dmitri - fuck, Dmitri stop it I - I said, stop it, ugh, stop, my sides hurt !’
The boy obeyed, albeit reluctantly, and offered his father his brightest smile.
‘Where's Dad ?’
‘He'll be late. How’re you, lil’ monster ?’
‘Hey. I’m more of a gremlin, really. And I’m great ! Uncle Vitya lent me a few cool books, you should totally read ‘em Papa.’
‘Uh, tell that to Beka. Y’know I’m not that much of a book person.’
‘Liar, I saw Romeo and Juliet on your bedside table just last week.’
‘When have you become such a ninja ?’
‘Oi ! Dmitri, don’t keep Uncle Yura all for yourself, that’s unfair !’
The two children started bickering, and all three adults exchanged a knowing look. They had always been like this.
‘So, Uncle Yura, what does Beijing look like ?’
‘I sent your dads a few pics already, y’know. It’s pretty cool, I guess, just a bit… crowded. But Guang Hong and Leo took us to some restaurant and even though I still can’t use fu… frea… um… chopsticks, we had some good time.’
‘And then ?’
‘And then what ?’
‘Dad said he wanted to take you on his bike and drive around the city. Said it’d be romantic.’
Yuri almost instantly went red. Despite him being twenty-six already, he still was embarrassed by Otabek’s not-so-well-hidden idea of romance, and his face showed it quite well. Viktor and Yuuri smirked at the ice kitty of Russia, who, fortunately, didn’t see them. Otherwise, he’d probably have punched them both.
Just as he was mumbling something like ‘Otabek you’re such a dumbass why did I even marry you’, the bell rang again, and this time, Dmitri went to open the door. As soon as he recognized his father’s black coat, he hugged him tight, and Otabek smiled gently before stroking his head. He closed the door behind him, then went to meet the little committee.
‘Sorry for being late. I really wanted to get this done.’
‘No problem, Otabek’, Yuuri smiled. ‘Actually, Yurio’s been here for just a few minutes, you know.’
They started chatting, mostly evaluating the chances of Yuri winning this season’s GPF - even though he had won gold for both qualifying events, he was to compete against some new skaters, who were inexperienced indeed, but extremely talented. Besides, Yuri had already proven that experience in the Senior bracket didn’t actually matter as long as the skaters worked hard and took full advantage of their talents - which had granted him a gold medal for his Senior Debut.
‘Hey, Dmitri, given that both your dads made it to the GPF this year, who will you be rooting for ?’ Ekaterina asked.
‘Dunno. Both, I guess ? At least if I’m in both fanclubs, I’m guaranteed to be satisfied.’
He smiled at his parents, and they chuckled, smiled, and Otabek fist-bumped him.
‘I hope Guang Hong and Leo make it, too.’
‘Yurio, is JJ really going to be singing for the opening event ?’
‘Uh… I didn’t ask him and I really hope he’s not ‘cause I seriously won’t have the time and fucking patience to deal with him…’
‘Come on, you two are friends now. And that dress he wore for your wedding was fabulous.’ Viktor winked at the children, who didn’t know of that story. After all, Ekaterina had been part of the family for eight years only, while Dmitri hadn’t spent more than five years with his foster family.
‘I still have the pictures Phichit took ! They must be in some photo album, I’ll show you later’, Yuuri smiled.
‘Mr. Katsuki, I don’t think it’s a good idea.’
‘You know, Otabek, you can call us Yuuri and Viktor. I mean, we’ve been Mr. Katsuki and Mr. Nikiforov for years now. I know, I know, you think it’s disrespectful but, really… Nevermind. Why is it a bad idea ?’
Otabek shook his head.
‘Mr. Giacometti is featured in a few of them.’
Silence fell upon the room, and Ekaterina broke it first.
‘As in, Christophe Giacometti ? Daddy’s best friend ? Uncle Chris ?’
‘Himself', Yuri groaned. ‘Why did he even have to come… He spent the entire afternoon getting drunk off his ass with Emil and Michele… Not to mention Georgi giving Minami some makeup advice… And Mila and Sara flirting… Ugh… Seriously, the only guy who stayed chill until the end was Seung-Gil.’
‘Leo went wild on the dancefloor, and both Yuris had a dance-off with him’, Viktor smirked.’
‘Leo did ? I thought he was cooler than that…’
‘What's that s’posed to mean, Dmitri ?!’
‘But Uncle Chris is so sweet !’ Ekaterina said. ‘Last time, he brought us Swiss chocolate for the Easter holidays !’
‘Yeah well now he’s calmed down, especially with Steven tempering him. But seriously… I’ve seen things at the GPF Gala that I’d rather not remember.’
‘Like what, Papa ?’
‘I said I didn’t wanna remember that.’
When the clock hit nine in the evening, they suddenly realized they had completely forgotten about the katsudon and pirozhki, and both Yuris went extremely pale, fearing for their beloved dishes’ lives. Turns out they actually weren’t half bad at all, and they ended up staying up quite a while talking about different things - although Yuri fell asleep halfway, his head laying on Otabek’s shoulder while the latter was starting to get tired as well. After all, he also had had an exhausting trip from Beijing to St Petersburg, and he moreover had to wash his bike and prevent their four cats from running away.
Seeing how tired both of them were, and having a hard time dealing with Dmitri and Ekaterina’s over-cheerfulness, Viktor and Yuuri let the Altin-Plisetsky couple sleep in a spare room. When they were done making sure that everything was comfortable enough for them, they went back to the living room, and found their sweet daughter, fast asleep on the couch.
‘Awww, Yuuri, an angel has dozed off on our couch. Should we wake her up ?’
‘No, let her be… Let’s just bring her a cover and that cat plushie Yurio gave her, she loves it.’
‘That reminds me… Where has Dmitri gone ?’
They went back in the kitchen, but the boy was nowhere to be seen. Viktor quickly checked in Yuri and Otabek’s room, but he wasn’t there either. They kept searching for a few minutes, until they heard someone sneezing, only to find a wide-awake Dmitri on the balcony.
‘You're going to catch a cold, Dmitri’, Yuuri said as he gently took his hand to lead him back inside.
But the boy didn’t move an inch, and kept looking at the scenery that spread before his magnificent blue eyes. The ever-so-cheerful St Petersburg was drowned in its own silence, beautiful and intimidating. They could see some lights coming out of other houses, where other people lived other lives. Both adults stared at the boy.
‘Is it bad that I’m different from everyone in the family ?’ he finally said in a quiet, shy voice.
‘Are you ?’ Yuuri asked. ‘Different, I mean.’
The boy seemed to regret his words at first, and it looked like he wasn’t going to try and answer Yuuri’s question. Instead, he went back inside to grab Otabek’s giant coat, put it on like some kind of oversized costume, and sat down on one of the balcony chairs. His gaze fell upon the peaceful city again, as he started talking in a voice that didn’t quite sound like his.
‘Ice-skating isn’t my thing. Sure, it can be cool. Sometimes. Mila said that I would grow to like it. But it’s not the same ‘like' as you two or Ekaterina or my parents’ ‘like'. It’s not even a hobby.’
‘Does that make you feel… Apart from us ?’ Viktor muttered.
‘Kinda. I mean, I won’t force myself to like it just because the people I love do. But I don’t like being left out either. Papa and Dad spend so much time abroad because of it. And yeah, I know they come back as often as possible ‘cause they wanna see me, and all of us really, but… It’s not the same…’
‘If this is what worries you, Dmitri, know that they love you. Deeply’, Viktor smiled.
‘It's not. I know they do. I guess I just missed them quite a bit and I really want to spend more time with them. I know what it’s gonna be. One of them will get gold at the GPF, and then they’ll go for the Europeans, the Four Continents and the Worlds, and then they’ll come back, only to go away again…’
‘Geez, aren’t you too small to worry about these ?’
All three turned around, and met a pair of tired, green eyes. Yuri was leaning against the door, staring at his son.
‘Papa ! I… I thought you were asleep…!’
‘I was. But Beka snores like a freaking grizzly. Shouldn’t have given him any booze.’
He sat down, his torso and bare arms inside the living room while his legs laid on the balcony.
‘I’m sorry’, he said. ‘I'm sorry we don’t get to spend as much time with you as we’d all like.’
‘... I didn’t really want you to apologize, y’know ? It’s not really your fault if you like skating that much.’
‘This one is our last season.’
Yuuri couldn’t help but let out a faint exclamation, but he was quick to cover his mouth, afraid he might wake Ekaterina up. Viktor simply frowned, and then sighed.
‘I knew there had to be a reason for you to be this invested this year.’
‘We’re not gonna stay competitive forever. Besides, we’ve been talking a lot about you, lil’ monster. Viktor and the piglet aren’t always gonna be taking care of you when it’s our job.’
‘You can’t ! You… That’s your passion ! You’ve loved it since you were three !’ Dmitri yelled. ‘Don't give up just because I’m an attention whore and -’
‘Language, kid. And trust me, if you were an attention whore, I’d have punched you long ago so don’t go around saying that.’
‘Then, Yurio, what… What are you going to do ?’ Yuuri asked.
‘Dunno. I’ve been asked to work as a model but to be honest, it’d be a pain in the ass. Beka thinks he’s gonna start in the music industry, though.’
‘Are Uncle Yura and Uncle Otabek retiring…?’ asked Ekaterina’s soft voice from the couch.
She was looking at them with bright grey eyes, her hair falling before her face as she slowly stood up and went to sit next to Yuri.
‘Yeah. We are.’
‘We'll never get to see you skate again ?’
‘Not during a competition.’
‘But… You’ll keep loving it, right ? Like Papa and Daddy do ?’
‘Course we will.’
He patted her head, and yawned. She looked like she was about to cry, but she didn’t and simply went to hug Yuuri.
‘Yuri', Viktor said. ‘If none of you win gold this year, or beat your records, I’m keeping Dmitri here and you’re not taking him back ever again.’
‘What ?!’ both Yuri and Dmitri screamed.
‘That's so fucked up, old man ! Who d’you think you are ?! Also are you serious ?! I knew you were stupid but this is some JJ-level bullshit, have you even heard what you -’
‘Yura ? Why are you and Mr. Nikiforov arguing… Again...?’
Otabek had just entered the room, still sleepy.
‘Beka ! Tell the old man that he can’t keep our son all to himself even if none of us win gold !’
‘... What ?’
‘That’s his way of encouraging you’, Yuuri sighed. ‘Well, as long as none of you ask him to marry you if you win gold…’
‘Not happening, the guy’s way too old for me, you can keep him.’
‘Yuri, that was rude !’
‘But I don’t wanna keep living with Grandpa and Gramps, though.’
‘Why would you call my Papa and Daddy ‘Grandpa and Gramps’ ?!’
‘Well, remember that website I talked about earlier ? Tumblr ? People say that Papa is Viktor and Yuuri’s son. So, technically, they’re my grandparents.’
‘... Does that mean Uncle Yura is… Big Brother Yura ?’
‘That also means Dmitri is your nephew’, Otabek said bluntly.
‘Which is fucked up. Also, I’m not their son for fuck’s sake ! Could they stop with this bullshit for even a fucking minute ?!’
‘Yurio, I’ve been trying not to pay attention to it but please don’t swear that much in front of the children’, Yuuri begged.
‘Yeah, Papa, listen to Grandpa Yuuri !’
‘Wait, I get to be Gramps ?! But… But I wanted to be Grandpa !’
‘Dude, you have your priorities set straight.’
‘I'm pretty sure he’s not.’
Silence followed Otabek’s declaration as he stared extremely seriously at everyone in the room. Yuri ended up facepalming, stood up and pulled his ear.
‘Who the fuck are you and what have you done with my bad-puns-free-Beka.’
‘I'm Drunk Beka.’
‘Fuck.’
Then, Otabek collapsed in his husband’s arms, who winced before putting him down on the ground.
‘Wow, now that’s a side of Dad I didn’t know’, Dmitri smirked before taking a picture.
‘Don't even try blackmailing him, kid.’
‘Aww, Yuuri, our son is so protective of his boyfriend !’
‘Viktor, shut your fucking mouth ! He’s not my boyfriend, he’s my husband. And. I. Am. Not. Your. Son.’
Viktor was going to reply, when Ekaterina sneezed. Everyone agreed to go back inside. They hadn’t even realized how cold it was. They spent another few hours talking and playing some board games while Otabek was still asleep on the fluffy carpet; Ekaterina and Dmitri then went with Yuuri to take all covers and pillows off the beds and out of the closets, and gathered them all on the floor. Everyone fell asleep together, Yuri hugging Dmitri and Ekaterina being comfy between her two fathers.
Needless to say, the following week, they were all tied up to their beds with a nasty cold, and Yakov came running to scold every single one of them, even the two children who knew that the man was much, much kinder than he’d ever let people think.
AAAnnnnnd done !!! I hope you liked it, and especially Dmitri and Ekaterina >W< Sorry it ended up way angstier than expected - I do that, sometimes. Truth is, I love writing angst so... Beware of your feels 8D Anyway

jollythunderstorms replied to your post “*whispers* do all of them, fandom(s) of your choice”
Ok mmmmmm doctor who
What OTPs in your fandom(s) do you just not get?
Hmm. I don’t get any pre-war Doctor and Rose pairing. No thanks. Ones with Eleven or Twelve at least make a little sense but something about them still makes me vastly uncomfortable.
Also, Nyssa and Adric. Why is that a thing? *helpless confused shrugging*
Are there any popular fandom OTPs you only BroTP?
I don’t think so? The two I’ve mentioned are the main ones I can think of. Oh, except maybe like Five/Tegan or Five/Nyssa. Like, I think I’ve read fic for both, and I can roll with most ships, but generally I’m more about that brotp life. (And Nyssa and Tegan are married, fight me.)
Any fandoms that don’t appeal to you?
Supernatural never did, thankfully. I require more substance than dead female characters and white male crying. (I watched like four and a half seasons and was just like “ok”)
Have you ever unfollowed someone? Why?
If I unfollow someone, it’ll be because they’re reblogging untagged C$ (from OUAT). About one more incident away from doing so with a person on my dash but they post Doctor/River stuff too so I don’t want to but like, C$ makes me want to vomit.
Do you have a NoTP in [insert fandom here]?
In Doctor Who? Not really, just anything like Seven and Ace or any other combination where the companion is underage (at least when they meet him) and it’s obviously a paternal or mentor relationship and people are reading it grossly for some reason.
Has fandom ever ruined a pairing for you?
In Doctor Who, not too much. Rose superfans annoy me because they’re usually RTD stans as well, but I still like Doctor/Rose, it is just, like Rose and Ten themselves, overrated if only because of how absurdly highly rated it is and not so much because of any lack of quality on its part. (Unsurprisingly, I prefer Nine/Rose to Ten/Rose. Lol.)
I used to like Johnlock before I realised their fandom is comprised of literally the most toxic people I’ve ever seen on the internet, and are massively delusional on levels I’ve never encountered before. (They tried to call the gay co-creator an ‘honourary straight’ and queerbaiter for not giving them their fetished pairing. Yikes.) So glad I was never really in the Sherlock fandom and just like watching the show. And now I don’t ship it anyway bc John/Mary and Sherlock/Irene are infinitely better.
Is there anything you used to like, but now can’t stand?
Uh...nothing comes to mind? I’m pretty salty about OUAT and the 100 but I think can’t stand is still too strong? I still love the first season of the former and the first two and a bit seasons of the latter?
Unpopular opinion about [insert fandom here]?
Unpopular opinion about Doctor Who? I mean, anything that makes out that Steven Moffat is a human being or a vaguely accomplished writer and not some kind of devil in a human suit is an unpopular opinion bc people are absurd and wilfully ignorant, so I’ve been living that life for a while, I’m not quiet about my supportive of/love for Moffat.
Have you received anon hate? What about?
Ooh. Uh, I’m not actually sure if this case was anon or not, because I don’t think I answered it, though I think I meant to (but seem to have ended up deleting it, idk), but I’d made some post about not understanding why people didn’t like Missy? and someone came in like “that’s bc she sexually assaulted Twelve and kills people and used a gendered slur” and some other shit idk
now, okay, first two accusations, fair enough. though like, she’s a villain, and that assault was only a kiss (still an assault, but you know).
it was the gendered slur thing that got me?? I can only assume that they mean the “tell him the Bitch is back” line, but it’s so ridiculous because that’s the most blatant reclaimed slur moment ever? it was funny? and empowering? wtf was their problem? idk
Any fandom you’re ashamed of being in?
Not really. (Maybe vaguely embarrassed to be even remotely associated with the Sherlock fandom even though I only watch and reblog the very very occasional gifset.) I know some people try and make out Doctor Who to be embarrassing but that’s mainly bc of the whole Superwholock fiasco, and like, man, don’t sully Doctor Who with that shit. It was around long before the other two and will continue on long after they’ve been forgotten. I can guarantee a lot of the embarrassing fans are now the ones trying to shit on Moffat all the time. They’re idiots.
Meanwhile, those of us who just want to enjoy our cute lil increasingly feminist sci-fi show will keep doing so, bc Doctor Who is not some tweeny thing, it has the biggest age range of intense fans out of almost anything. It’s been going for 53 and a half years. it’s not a phase haha
