#please reblog art
Text
IMPORTANT!!
So, my fnaf friends are making notices on the state of reblogging posts, especially art.
Here's a little explanation for the people that are unaware: Tumblr likes don't do much if anything at all for spreading posts, the reblogging does all of that because it places that art on your own blog for the people that follow you to see. It's not reposting art and stealing it, I promise. The account that you reblogged the post from will be visible. Reblogging helps with spreading things for other people to see that might also enjoy it!
For example, if you enjoy my fnaf comic, reblog it so that other people can find it as well and also enjoy it! If you are more of a fan of my creepypasta content or my furry content, then reblog it so that your followers who may or may not like that art as well can find it!
From what I know, Tumblr doesn't have an algorithm that it pushes content on, the content pushing is all done by the people on Tumblr, not any sort of code or system (I don't know how algorithms work).
My hours of work and the hours of work of other artists on Tumblr will be stuck in an echo chamber without intervention of reblogging from viewers like you. Amazing things will be created that not a whole lot of people will know about if the reblog tool Tumblr provided is not used.
So, please, please, pretty please reblog art from others and myself. I won't make it mandatory because I know I personally don't like the pressure of demands because it makes my OCD go off the wall, but I will be making a very polite banner that I'd be very happy and would appreciate it if people could reblog my art.
I know there's a lot going on in the world right now and I don't know what you specially are going through, but it doesn't take any time at all and I rather enjoy reading the tags people put on my art. And even then, you don't have to tag it, just submitting the reblog is enough.
So, if you go to like art of mine or anyone's, take a second away from your doomscroll to take a second and reblog the art post. Or any post you'd like! The more people that reblog a post, the more people see it.
And please don't take advantage of my kindness and lenient nature because then we're going to have problems.
Sincerely, Poindexter Bunny

Shout out to struggling artists
Artist who can't seem to get the idea from their head onto the paper
Artist struggling to financially support themselves
Artist without good resources
Artists who have ~1 piece of fanart that went viral and next to no other attention on their other work
Artists with art block
Artists who can’t get themselves to create when they want to
Artists who get likes but no reblogs
Artists who feel bad for wanting comments and likes, feeling weighed down in their hearts by the lack of validation and attention
Artists who can't find a good reference
Artists with pain in their wrists and arms and shoulders
I see you and I support you and I'm sorry and I love you lots 💕❤💖💗❤💗❤💕

That being said, please expect a LOT more reblogs from this account. There is some damn good art on here and what little attention I can grab for other artists is well worth a bit of clutter.

If you ever wonder why artists beg people to reblog their art just keep in mind my most popular art has 88 notes and my second most popular has 38.
My most popular post of all has 676
Which even than is mostly likes.
When I get 15 notes on a piece if art that's a win for me.
When I get one comment (either in a reblog or an actual comment), that's a win for me.
When I get two reblogs that's a win for me.
Please please please just reblog my and others art.

From instructions on how to opt out, look at the official staff post on the topic. It also gives more information on Tumblr's new policies. If you are opting out, remember to opt out each separate blog individually.
Please reblog this post, so it will get more votes!

To illustrate this post by @mayahawkse I would like to visualize to you the difference:
A post in 2023:
Tumblr media
A post in 2014:
Tumblr media
A zoom out of the same post:
Tumblr media
This is what a community looks like.
See how in 2023 almost all of the reblogs come from the OP, from their few hours/days in the tag search. Meanwhile in 2014 the % of reblogs from OP is insignificant, because most of the reblogs come from the reblogs within the fandom, within the micro-communities formed there. You didn't need to rely on tags, or search, or being featured. Because the community took care of you, made sure to pass the work between themselves and onto their blog and exposed their followers to it. It kept works alive for years.
It's not JUST the reblog/like ratio that causing this issue, it's the type of interaction people have. They're content with scrolling and liking the search engine, instead of actually having a reblogging relationship with other blogs in their community.
Anyways, if you want to see more content you like, the only true way to make it happen is to reblog it. Likes do not forward content in no way but making OP feel nice. Reblogs on the other hand make content eternal. They make it relevant, they make it exist outside of a fickle tumblr search that hardly works on the best of days.
If you want more of something, reblog it.

No Place Like Home

Sometime after everything, Mobius ends up in Don’s place on the timeline and settles in. Loki is slowly but surely figuring out a way to leave the tree for longer periods of time. He wasn’t sure if Mobius would remember him, but loves him too much to stay away entirely even if he didn’t.
But Mobius does remember him, and his script flies out the window.
I’m so utterly obsessed with these guys,,,, they just need to be silly dads in suburban cleveland,,,
for some reason I could not find any reference pictures for the kids? that’s why they’re a bit less fleshed out than loki and mobius. plus I don’t usually draw children, so 🤷‍♂️
I might have to make this a continuing au because my need for domestic fluff is already outweighing my need for sleep
