I think WE stayed because it was just the easiest thing to do but along the way we realized there was no love left on either side strong enough to fight for it. We were just TWO selfish people holding onto nothing but the fear of the unknown.
:what I really want to say when people ask instead of saying “it was just time”

It feels to me like this was something of a turning point for Imogen, because she and Ashton did have very similar thought processes: what if the parent(s) I never really knew, who have cult connections, are right? What if I'm meant to do what they did? Do it better? What if this will make me feel closer to them, or loved? But, notably, Imogen entertained this idea, was rightfully told how hurtful this thought process was to the others and how, frankly, stupid a path it would take her down, and ultimately didn't act upon it. She made an effort to connect with her mother, but she tried to pull Liliana away from the Vanguard rather than join the murderous organization herself. And then Liliana didn't listen, and it hurt a lot, and Imogen's felt abandoned by her and has been quietly working through those feelings in private ever since.
Ashton, obviously, made a very different choice, didn't talk to the group beforehand because they knew they'd get the same sort of response they'd once given Imogen, did act on those feelings, didn't break the cycle, fucked up the group's plans, and nearly died permanently in the process.
Imogen has in the past often, understandably, equated thought with action. The fact that the thought process she and Ashton had was essentially the same, and she realized it and had sympathy for it while still being extremely angry, is a significant step! The action does mean a lot! I think internalizing this will take a long time for Imogen, because she's had a decade of judging people on thought alone, but it's clear she's can clearly see where she and Ashton diverged and empathize with him regarding his feelings of parental abandonment, while still being extremely angry about the risks he took and the lack of consideration of the party's feelings or needs.

*bursts into the ted lasso tag covered in blood*
THE WHOLE GOAL OF BEING A MANAGER OF PEOPLE IS TO COACH THEM TO THE POINT WHERE THEY NO LONGER NEED YOU! GOOD MANAGERS KNOW THEY ARE SUPPORTING CAST AND NOT THE MAIN CHARACTER! IT’S A LOT LIKE PARENTHOOD BUT IT’S NOT A SUBSTITUTE! TED MISSED HIS KID! HE WANTED TO BE THE STABLE AND LOVING PARENT HE NEVER HAD! HE CHOSE TO DO BEST BY HIS SON BUT ALSO BY HIMSELF! JUST BECAUSE YOU LOVE A THING DOESN’T MEAN IT’S MEANT TO BE PERMANENT! GOODBYES CAN BE SAD AND HARD BUT STILL THE RIGHT THING TO DO! BEING A GOOD COACH - AND PARENT - IS ABOUT KNOWING WHEN TO LEAN IN AND KNOWING WHEN TO LET GO!

My own Swap!Hazbin Hotel AU
I don't even know if I am ever going to do anything with this, but the idea won't leave me alone so here it goes: Basically the Vees exchange place with Appleradio+Charlie. Velvette as Charlie forms the Hazbin Hotel as a way to scam people and speedrun her way to becoming a fearsome overlord. It's entirely by accident that some souls actually get redeemed! Vox as Lucifer, king of hell, a virus that was passed down since creation as an error that gave birth to sin. He had countless bodies through the years, but his memories and personality remain. He supports the project of Velvette because it looks like it could be fun and is curious if something happens with it. At least it could be something different in hell after so long of the same old thing.
Valentino as Alastor. First, he wanted to see what Velvette was actually doing, then stayed because he liked her and then he just likes to fuck people (figuratively and literally) at the hotel to get his fun until Vox is there. Then he mostly wants to fuck Vox and become the queen of hell because he thinks that will be a life of luxury guaranteed. He and Velvette become best gossiping friends. Lucifer as Vox, the news demon that controls all newspapers, all news stations. He actually prefers written media over the TV, but goes with whatever is popular to grab people's attention. He does like to make movies, though. Ruthless when he needs to be, but also has a kind heart deep down that makes Alastor all the overprotective for him because he hates the idea of anyone taking advantage of that. Lucifer tried to reclute Valentino a long time ago and Valentino actually considered it, until he saw how he was always going to be second place to both Charlie and Alastor so he didn't take the deal and prefered to grow on his own. Alastor as Valentino, the radio demon that makes audio dramas and controlls the market for kinky media/snuff films outside of the public recognition because money, on one hand, but also because he is constantly looking for new ways to make the sex topic remotely interesting for him. It's just by chance that other people happened to find it interesting too. He and Lucifer have been together since they both started at the bottom, helping each other when no one else would as young rising overlords that had to fight with tooth and nail to get where they are. Charlie as Velvette, a inspirational influencer doll demon that Lucifer adopted off the streets with the hope of she just being a pretty face anyone could fall in love with and turning up to be a lot more when she started her own social media. She is still somewhat naive, more prone to anger, but still far more gentler so all of the souls she owns are happy to give themselves to her. Vaggie is her assistant that keeps her safe and reminds her to not trust so easily on her audience.

since it's dimple day, just wanna say it's very very funny how dimple has been hanging around this middle schooler for months, protecting him both physically and emotionally when he gets the chance, and in his mind, he's like "yes i'm just biding my time... until i can USE him for my own ends.. yes i'm so evil.. so sick and twisted"

in s3ep2, eleanor tells mrs. hudson she doesnt come from privilege, which mrs. hudson immediately denies. but i think its SOOO telling of eleanor's character! she sees herself as a woman in a world full of men, which she is, but she completely ignores the class and racial divides she obviously benefits from. she claims she has no privilege to mrs. hudson, who comes from no money and works as a chambermaid to woodes rodgers, leaving behind her beloved children to make sure eleanor has clean clothes and to empty her chamberpot. eleanor had power on nassau, power she wielded for her own benefit and to the severe detriment of others. obviously she experienced misogyny, but she was never forced into poverty, never forced into sex work, never forced into service of any kind, because her father was wealthy and she was born into a higher class. her experiences of misogyny and oppression are vastly different than mrs. hudson's. but for her to tell a chambermaid she experienced no privilege? it's laughably untrue. eleanor oversaw and directly profitted from the trade of hundreds if not thousands of slaves on nassau, was raised by "chattel property of the guthrie estate" mr. scott, who is never even given a name in his own tongue (on screen, at least), never showed kindness to anyone but those who put money in her pocket because she was born with that money and that trade empire already in the guthrie name. she had to fight to get it, and fight she did, but the fact that those things were so close to her reach just by virtue of the circumstances of her birth? that's privilege, whether or not she sees it that way

I am so very sorry to interrupt your scrolling, but I just want to know;
Have you remembered to hydrate yourself today?
Have you eaten something?
Have you remembered to forgive yourself for all of your past mistakes?
Have you remembered to take breaks throughout the day?
Have you listened to your body’s needs?
If you have done any of these things, then I am very proud of you. If you haven’t done any of these things, I am still very proud of you. I know how hard you are trying. Some days are just… rough. It can take alot of energy to do “basic” things such as drinking water, eating and so on.
However, please try to do atleast some of the things, which are listed above. Eating a little something and/or drinking something is a HUGE step! You deserve to give yourself forgiveness for your past mistakes. You deserve to heal and recover 100%!
Thank you so much for your time, you can now continue your scrolling! ♡

Honestly I really love the "can go south at any given time" aspect of Gale's character, like he's always one bad decision away from losing control and just doing something irremediably fucked. I love how it ties with the unstable nature of both the Orb and then the Crown. And how part of his actions are "for the greater good", because he is a good man! But they are still also deeply rooted in his selfishness and wanting to prove himself (and to the world?) he's just that good and that better than even the gods. Oh, and the pettiness of it as well.
He'll disapprove morally bad actions... But he's absolutely down if they happen to match his ambitions and what he wants.
I know people are mad he can just ignore you even when romanced and do whatever he wants at the end of the game but that's an aspect I really love. That even when he knows he's loved and cherished for what he is and he could have a good life being just Some Wizard, there's still a chance his darker nature can take over. Because it's forever part of himself, and because it's been his life for so long...

Starlo's personality
I'm still confused about this man's 'true self,' gotta admit. How much of 'himself' IS there in 'North Star'?
What we know about real Star:
He's a nerd/geek obsessed with westerns; that's where he got the inspiration to build WE
He looks different than with the hat on and used to wear braces
Was shy in his teenage years around Ceroba (no idea how he acted normally) + couldn't confess to her
His mom (after killing him) says how he's never been the one to follow rules. I wonder what she meant by that. Rules, like, you're supposed to hate humans like everyone else or rules, like, no sneaking off to practice your shooting and lasso skills? Both?
Ed describes the 'old him' as a fearless leader and as a monster who could 'make his own fun in the little things' (you mean he used to be more humble but at the same time remained an ambitious risk-taker?)
Is insecure about where he comes from and what he looks like
We don't have enough info to know what he was like as a kid. I'm curious if absolutely everything about North Star is the opposite of Starlo (I don't think it is); both are kind and protective. Still, I can't help but wonder if the Starlo after Showdown, in both routes, is the real him or not. Maybe 50% yes and 50% no
Just from the end credits, the only thing I got about him was that he's kind and friendly and optimistic and charming (North Star is this way too, but more exaggerated). Nothing new
So maybe Starlo IS North Star, but more modest (aka not as exaggerated)
I'm curious about your thoughts guys.
Also I forgot to mention how he wanted to plan a PARTY for Kanako, in neutral says that the PARTY in the saloon was great (and the letter he sent was pretty charming), wants to accompany Ceroba in the Steamworks, is open about how he feels (immediately openly confronts Ceroba and calls her out; he's assertive), not afraid to get physical if it means protecting Clover & Martlet, can be pretty loud (like when he spotted Clover after sparing him in neutral, he was like "DEPUTY!!!"
I'm left wondering if all this is the real him or not. I think it is. Just maybe toned down a bit :) It's the only explanation for the fact he's been doing all this for a really long time and never showing signs of wanting to stop/that it exhausted him

always and forever gonna stand on the hill that every mischaracterization of mike comes from doubting his ability to love and care for others completely selflessly and by believing any of his actions are rooted in self gain and selfishness. to think mike is selfish, even unintentionally, is a fundamental misunderstanding of his goals and motives as a person
