Can't explain it, but...Miles is good at slap boxing because he's prowler and one of his main defense mechanisms is his claws, and Miles is good at shadow boxing because he can use spidey-sense to know where the opponent will turn next 😝😝
Hey-oooo! This is my commission for the awesome, patient, and talented writer @twosides--samecoin ! Check out their fic Long Time Running if you enjoy Fallout, pain, love, RJ, and boxing! (I love those things)
Also, thank you everyone for all the well wishes! (Seriously they meant a lot ;;;) I'm not 100% yet but I'm getting there! :'V
The shadowboxes I have currently started but aren't done yet: Madohomu, Touyuki, and Reigisa. I could add more to Madohomu now as the kimono stickers came on a sheet but since stickers can't be moved, I make sure I'm positive that's where I want them before I use them. Also Madohomu is the only one where I made the background. I put together a bunch of transparent images on GIMP. I'll admit I'm no expert but I say it works.
I wasn't sure what to use for Touyuki, I couldn't find a CCS background for them. So I just went with a sakura tree.
Since Free! isn't as popular anymore, not finding as much stuff for Reigisa. Which is sad as I still love the show.
Like I said previously MakoHaru was the first one I made and I used an 8x8 one. After using all of the ones in that 3 pack I've gone onto using the 8x10 ones. I honestly wish I used one for MakoHaru so I could put more stuff in it but I can't undo the stickers.
Why am i so embarrassed to exist in the gym? Like i’ve been going since march and i still cant get over the anxiety of feeling like i don’t belong there…
AAHHH GETTING SO MUCH CLOSER
I am insanely proud of how far this piece has come from the start. Shout out to @twosides--samecoin for talking with me about the changes and being okay with me taking the time to learn some things before coming back and tackling some more. I still have more to tackle but it's shaping up!
Lastly, I never thought I'd become a die-hard Hajime No Ippo fan. It was recommended to me by somebody on Reddit to learn more about animating boxing; that was a great call. It's so wholesome, so well done, and so passionate. I've never been a sports anime fan, but Ippo stole my heart y'all. I put it on whenever I'm feeling down about my Art Skillz, and Ippo cheers me right back up. Love this dude.
Everything was taken from their events: confetti from the engagement party, flowers from the wedding, and the painted background mimics the design of their menus.
Shadow boxing is a form of physical workout which involves moving around by yourself and throwing punches in the air. It helps the boxer to improve the form of his punches and techniques. A heavy bag workout is punching a sandbag. It allows you to land your punches with maximal power. It helps the arm muscles to handle the movements quickly and neatly to attack opponents.
