Finn having heterochromia like Catra but it’s not super notable because they’re both of their mom’s blue eye(s). So if you look closely each of their eyes is a slightly different shade of blue

the thing about fantazy worlds where there is "no homophobia, no transphobia, and no racism!" is that there's still ableism, specifically anti-autistic ableism.
because queerphobia can be erased by normalization, but ableism can't be erased just by taking away the labels.
in fact, taking away labels like autism and neurodivergence only makes being neurodivergent even harder:
if there's no word for why someone's different, there's no way to help or understand them, which leads to othering and demonizing them.
this is why even in utopia based fantazy worlds like shera and the owl house, neurodivergent (and specifically autistic) characters (entrapta, alador blight) are still not understood as much as neurotypical characters. they still have to explain how they're different, and doing that without having the word "autism" be common knowledge just makes it more difficult.
the only real way to erase ableism is to create a world where neurodivergence and disability is understood, talked about, and accepted.
but no one's done that yet, so here we are.

For anyone with the lack of (or unwilling to use) critical thinking skills to understand why so many trans, genderqueer, and nonbinary people are against the trope of "Nonbinary Shape Shifter" --
Question: Why is it a negative stereotype to have only shape shifters be nonbinary?
Answer: Because it's biological essentialism incarnate.
"Of course" the non-autistic, non-queer writer thinks, "Of course this shapeshifter changes pronouns, we can't very well have a male actor going by she/her pronouns, or a female actress using he/him pronouns, that would be too confusing!"
"Obviously the shapeshifter's gender must change to match their current physical body! We couldn't have a shapeshifter who uses the same sets of pronouns no matter what form their body is in, that would be too radical!" (/Sarcasm)
It's also because shows with Nonbinary Shape Shifters never have normal human beings who are also Nonbinary--
--or if they ""do"", it's only random background characters with little to no speaking lines who are """confirmed on Twitter""" as an afterthought in an effort to win brownie points.
Oh, and 95% of the time the Nonbinary Shape Shifter Character in question isn't even Nonbinary in canon. Queerness of any caliber is never mentioned, shown, implied, or heck, even intended on the part of the writers (which they themselves will admit) and it's up to fandom to characterize this "accidentally-coded" character into someone we can see ourselves in.
Seriously. When is the last time you watched a show, movie, etc with a Nonbinary Shape Shifter / Alien / Nonhuman (implied or completely fandomized) and there were reoccurring, established, main characters who are also nonbinary?
Seriously.
Sit down.
Think about it for a moment.
When's the last time there were nonbinary or genderqueer or trans humans in the same show as a Nonbinary Shape Shifter?
Why is it that only non-human characters are nonbinary or autistic in these shows/books/movies/etc?
Why is it only characters that are inherently dehumanized that are nonbinary, genderqueer, etc?

I can't find the answer online other than "It's the same Korean animation studio" but I legit need to know why Korra, Voltron, She-Ra, and MAWS all not only look identical (animation studio) but have extremely similar character and story writing (not animation studio) and contain almost identical tropes and elements in them that are WAY too specific to simply be coincidence.
I can't find any obvious crossover between ALL 4 shows, only 2 of them seem to overlap staff here and there.
Please. It's driving me crazy and I need to know.

Superzero - Catradora AU by n7punk
Pairings: Adora/Catra (Catradora). Fandom: She-Ra and the Princesses of Power (2018).
Rating: E. Chapters: 17/17. Words: 115k.
Summary: Catra never cared much about Bright Moon’s local superheroes until She-ra rescues her from an attack by the latest would-be supervillain the Horde spat out. She has been lonely ever since the fight that finally ended her and Adora’s friendship, but she didn’t expect She-ra to be lonely, too. For some reason, though, she keeps coming around.
Adora knows it’s masochistic to try to befriend Catra the only way she’s allowed to be close to her anymore, but when the stress of her secret identity already broke them apart, it might be the only thing that could bring them together again now.

ENTRAPDAK CHILD OC
Name: Dreadlok
Pronouns: He/Him
Species: Etherian/Clone hybrid
Bio: The ill tempered but well meaning Prince of Dryl, and son of the infamous Lord Hordak. Dreadlok's lineage, combined with his intimidating appearance, has caused anyone outside of the Alliance to keep him at a distance. He learned how to live with being feared a long time ago, but still has issues with being inferior. Dreadlok's not as smart as his parents, and he's deeply ashamed of that. He channels his frustration into his music, as well as his combat training. Dreadlok uses his long dreadlocks as deadly whips, using them to lash at or grab his opponents. His best friends are Finn and Flora, who sympathize with the struggle of having infamous parents. He's quick to use his large size to scare off anyone who gives them a hard time. Ironically, Dreadlok is everything Hordak and Entrapta HOPED he would be. A child with loving friends and family, and a "normal" hobby. Whatever their differences are, this family loves and appreciates each other. Sadly, more than any of them realize.
Physical Description: Hordak's height, Entrapta's hair and skin color, long dreadlocks with metal clips, long ears, clone facial markings, red irises, muscular build, resting grouch face.
Personality Traits: naive, somewhat clumsy, quick to anger, loyal, easily swayed, louder than he needs to be, average intelligence.
Abilities: trichokinesis, hand-to-hand combat, physical prowess, basic mechanics, musical talent.
Likes: his friends, his parents, loud music.
Dislikes: bullies, being called stupid, being compared to his parents, people saying bad things about his parents.
