MS World Discoverer was a German expedition cruise ship. It hit an uncharted reef in the Sandfly Passage 29. April 2000. The hole was too big to get it repaired on the spot, so all the guests were taken ashore. A few hours later the captain ran the ship full speed on ground in Rodrick bay. (via sv_manjana)

Rrr Happy Mallow Monday!
After looking through Mallow's scrapbook, Gaz wished to see the dreaded pirate Jonathan Jones!
With a bit of convincing and a wooden guardian by their side they set off to Sunken Ship.
Johnny was delighted to welcome his old crew aswell as Gaz, who took a liking to his trident.
Let's just hope nothing bad happens…

Emil....is finally done! This is definitely my biggest digital piece to date--not even the Sons of Durin funeral took as long, nor did it put me through this much mental agony. So much coral, man 💀
Anyway.
Here are two versions: One with light beams and one without. The crown Emil's holding is the crown of King George I, who was king during part of the time that Emil was piratin' it up.
How she got the crown, I don't know. This is Emil we're talking about, after all.
Also, I'm not sure why, but this is a lot brighter and more saturated on my ipad than it is on my computer screen, but oh well.

It’s not done but it’s a good start.
I want to do more but I’m tired for today. It’s a BIG painting.

Today's mermaydg2023 theme on Instagram is "Sunken." We have some explorers checking out what appears to be a sunken ship!
And slightly off topic, but I am in love with that mermaid outfit made for Azone/Blythe bodies, and those mini koi are precious! I've wanted 1/6 scale koi for some time and was able to find them for super cheap! :D
