so while I am not fully caught up with Vigilantes, I have read far enough to know that there’s an American hero named Captain Celebrity whose superpower from what I recall is being a humongous douchebag. and while I haven’t read far enough to know what happens to this guy, I can’t say I’m very disappointed to learn that he’s no longer the number one hero in the U.S. (actually, didn’t they kick him out and that’s why he moved to Japan to begin with?). anyway, so my thanks to Horikoshi for having a marginally higher opinion of Americans than Furuhashi, even though we have definitely not done anything to warrant said opinion lately, and you may have inadvertently opened the door to a pandora’s box of discourse lmao

anyway, so let’s see if Horikoshi’s recent character development with regards to making Mineta not terrible anymore will apply to other aspects of his writing as well. I know I was making light of discourse just now, but I do think the complaints about him introducing yet another new character at the 11th hour to be cannon fodder in the final battle are absolutely valid. and again, it wouldn’t be a problem if he didn’t keep maiming/killing off his female characters one by one instead of developing them and letting them kick ass long-term. but that said, I will never complain about Horikoshi adding another female character to the series, regardless of how clumsy the attempt may be. go ahead and pander away, just give us more girl power lol

anyway so we’ll see how it goes, but I think I’m gonna be optimistic and let myself hope once again, even though I’m probably gonna regret it lol. it is what it is. she is standing on an airplane just chilling for fuck’s sake. I’m only human. anyway fingers crossed

No, Re-Destro Is Not Destro’s Literal Son

and

Yes, I Will Die On This Hill

I have a number of small, persistent quibbles with some of the widespread misapprehensions I see included in BNHA fanfic, quoted as fact in meta posts, even cited on the wiki. Quirk cancellation restraints, what the 20% quirklessness data point means in practice, when Kurogiri comes into existence relative to the time of the Shimura Family Massacre, things like that. My biggest one, though, is as the title suggests: the idea that Yotsubashi Rikiya is Yotsubashi Chikara’s son.

I don’t entirely know where this confusion comes from. As far as I can tell, the early scanlations didn’t get it wrong—one rendered the line in Chapter 218 about Destro having a child he didn’t know about as being children, plural, but otherwise, they were all accurate enough. It seems people just assumed that the child mentioned in 218 must be Re-Destro, who was, after all, right there on the panel. Even though the scanlations never said it, even though the official translation never said it, even though ample evidence in the manga disproves it, the idea still got around that Rikiya is Chikara’s son.

I have and will maintain that this is obviously wrong if you stop to think about it for even a moment, but unfortunately, most people don’t. The error can be found on less well-tended parts of the fandom wiki[1]; it’s in tumblr meta posts about the villains; it’s in fanfic.

And now, god help me, it is on the official anime website, too.

Dialogue + Narration

There are two places where the relationship between Chikara and Rikiya is explicitly addressed—the lead-in to the dinner scene in Chapter 218 and the fight between Clone!Shigaraki and RD in Chapter 232. If you include the Ultra Analysis databook, the number goes up to four: once each in Re-Destro and Destro Classic’s character blurbs.

Let’s take a look at each of those places, shall we?

The relevant Japanese text here is in the first narration box: 子ども, kodomo.

Kodomo is not gendered. It literally just means child. The key kanji is 子, ko. Like most kanji, it has a lot of potential readings, and you can add other kanji to it to modify it. Add 息 and you get musuko, son. Pronounce 子 as shi instead of ko, and you get a term that is frequently, though not exclusively, used to refer to boys. Add 女 to that reading and you get joshi, woman/girl. 子 is in a lot of words, many of them gendered! Used for kodomo as Hori does here, though, it does nothing to indicate a gender one way or the other.

Also too, it does nothing to indicate that Rikiya is the child in question; it simply states that there was such a child, somewhere in the world. Now, the natural assumption for anyone who knows how the graphic novel medium works and who understands basic literary analysis would be that the significant character we just met is, in fact, the child in question—except that everything else we learn about Destro and the original Meta Liberation Army here makes it entirely impossible.

I’ll do a full breakdown on why that is in the next section. In the meantime, here’s the next reference:

Here, we’re looking at the phrase the Viz translation renders as, “His blood runs through these veins.” The literal Japanese there is, Desutoro no matsuei chi o tsugu mono! In a literal translation, chi o tsugu mono means, “one who inherits the blood,” or, more loosely, “blood successor.” It’s matsuei—末裔—that’s the key word here.

Japanese has several words to express the concept of “descendant.” Matsuei is one word; the data book uses shison. So what’s the difference? Well, I’ll talk about shison in a moment, but I had an inkling of it just from looking at the kanji in matsuei—“end” and “descendant” respectively, leaving me with an impression of something like a final descendant or the terminus of the bloodline. Further research confirmed it: shison can refer to any lineal blood tie, but matsuei refers to a bloodline’s final inheritor, the person at the end of a long line of many, or even countless, generations. It’s the difference between being able to point to a grandparent and the kind of painstaking genealogical research that lets you[2] point to a famous royal from eight hundred years ago—matsuei is a word that very much assumes the existence of those countless generations.

So not only does Rikiya’s line there not imply that he’s Chikara’s son, but his specific word choice also tells us that he cannot be Chikara’s son. That’s, uh. Pretty conclusive, I would say.

Lastly, though, there’s also the data book. This is, perhaps, the actual closest you’re going to get to a manga equivalent of those character blurbs on the anime website, at least until such time as Hori deigns to give the MLA types character profile pages. (I live ever in hope.)

There are two relevant bits of text, one in Re-Destro’s entry, and the other in Destro Classic’s. The first describes how Re-Destro organizes the MLA as Desutoro no chi o tsugu mono: the same phrase he uses for himself in the manga, minus the matsuei. @codenamesazanka (the one who told me about the databook references among other citations, bless) rendered it as “Destro’s blood successor”; I have also seen it given as “the successor of Destro’s bloodline.” Note again, the lack of reference to a father/son bond.

Chikara’s entry uses that other descendant word I mentioned before, 子孫, shison. Notice that the term uses that ko kanji from kodomo before? As it does in joshi, 子 here reads shi. The other kanji, 孫, means grandchild. Thus, literally, grandchild-child—or, in the vernacular, simply descendant.

And then we have the anime website.

So, for comparison’s sake, the anime website uses 息子—the same combination of kanji that I said earlier gives you musuko, son. Heck, it even uses 父, chichi, for Destro—father. It’s as explicit as it’s possible to be, and I just don’t know why or how the anime website could fuck that up so bad when absolutely nothing in the manga describes the two Yotsubashis that way, and, indeed, one specific word choice actually rules out the possibility.

So, that’s all the manga says directly. It’s not the only evidence there is, though. In fact, the next piece makes it even more clear how colossally and impossibly wrong a father/son connection for Destro and his modern successor is.

Timeline

The long and short of this section is, “Since Harima Oji was Sako Atsuhiro’s great-great-grandfather, there is no possible way that Destro—who pre-dated Harima—can be Re-Destro’s father.” If you read that sentence and nodded your complete understanding and agreement, feel free to skip ahead to the last section. If you’d like the full explanation it takes to reach that sentence’s conclusion, though, read on.

So, aside from the word matsuei, the timeline is the most telling piece of evidence to my eye. I address it secondly rather than firstly because it’s less direct than the explicit narration; it relies on drawing conclusions based on things we’ve been told elsewhere rather than on the immediately relevant text. Oh, Mr. Compress’s relationship to Harima is explicit enough, but on what am I basing my claim that Destro predates him?

Regarding that, there’s no explicit year relative to My Hero Academia’s current events given for when Destro and the original Meta Liberation Army were active; the same is true for Harima Oji’s escapades. However, we are given some broad-strokes information, relative not to current events, but rather to the history of heroism as a legal institution in Japan.

We know that there was a widespread, lengthy period of chaos following the rise of quirks—called meta-abilities in those early years. At some point, however, people began to search for a way for meta-humans to live in peace with non-metas. The compromise that was reached was the foundation of professional heroism in Japan—while the use of meta-abilities would be legal in private settings, it was only by becoming licensed by the state as “heroes” that people could use their quirks in public.[3]

The legislation curtailing the use of meta-abilities—and the appropriation of a dead woman’s language to popularize a law establishing exactly the opposite of what she used that language to call for—is what catalyzed the rise of the original MLA. Thus, we can position Destro as being alive and active around the same time that heroism as a legal institution was being formed. Since we further know that he committed suicide in prison, we can assume that his child was conceived at some point prior to his capture. Ergo, Destro’s child, were they alive today, would be as old as Japanese professional heroism itself.

Next, consider Harima Oji, the Peerless Thief, a criminal who targeted the riches of “sham heroes.” We’re specifically told that he was active in the days in which the current system was settling into place—e.g. he only became active once the Hero System was established enough to have produced corrupt heroes. We’re told he preached reformation—he wasn’t just some pre-existing criminal who saw a shiny new target in heroes; he had specific grievances which he wanted addressed by the system, and which the system was not addressing.

The earliest Harima could possibly be active, then, is concurrent with Destro—Harima fighting against the corrupt people who had found their way into the new heroic institution, and Destro fighting against using the institution of heroism to oppress non-heroes. What I think is more likely, though, is that Harima came after Destro—Harima needed to have had time to realize what kinds of fakes had been drawn to this shiny new career path, maybe even to spend some time trying to change things the legal way.

I don’t suspect they were separated by very long—I would imagine Destro was easily within Harima’s living memory, and might well have influenced why he chose the path of protest that he did—but I do think they were separate.

Moving forward, then, Mr. Compress is four generations distant from his famous ancestor. Thus, even if you assume that Harima is of the same generation as Chikara, that’s what you’re looking at for Chikara’s child: someone who, were they alive today, would be old enough to be the great-grandparent of a thirty-two-year-old man.

Re-Destro’s probably a few years older than Mr. C, sure,[4] but that man doesn’t have Ujiko’s slow-aging quirk. Unless you want to start pulling theories about cryogenic stasis the story for some reason never saw fit to mention out of thin air, Re-Destro is in no way old enough to fit the bill.

This is backed up by one other piece of the timeline as well, and one more place we can look at language:

The small child at the center of the image is Rikiya, so young that he’s in schoolboy shorts for a meeting otherwise so formal that he’s been made to wear a tie. He’s, what, six to nine here, tops? And the adults speaking to him say that they’ve been in hiding for generations—代々, daidai, the kanji for generation followed by a kanji that just means, “See that kanji written right before me? Yeah, just read that one again.”

The original MLA was active for only a handful of years, and, per Chapter 218, they didn’t dissolve until Destro was captured. Thus, we can assume they have been in hiding since then, but not before then. With that in mind, this is another line that renders a father/son relationship impossible.

Remember, Chikara already had a child in the world circa his capture. If Rikiya were Chikara’s son, then Destro’s capture and his army’s subsequent dissolution could not have happened any farther back than nine months plus however old Rikiya was in this exact moment of his youth. Rikiya, who we see here as a child of less than ten.

Ten years in hiding doesn’t make one generation; it damn sure doesn’t make multiple ones.

Now, you could make theories about cryogenic statis that would explain this ludicrous discrepancy, sure. You could also theorize about e.g. artificial insemination,[5] or time stop quirks, or any number of other possibilities in the vast panoply the HeroAca world offers. The point is, though, that you don’t need to. There was, in the manga, no discrepancy that needed to be explained. It is only fanon misinterpretation and a glaring disinterest in the series’ villains from official sources that have presented this issue.

I’m praying that it’s all just a misunderstanding on the part of whoever maintains the website, and that the anime itself will render the relevant bits of dialogue correctly. Given the extreme cuts and alterations that My Villain Academia has been subjected to thus far, though, I’m sure you can appreciate my being concerned.

…So that’s the meat of it. The idea that Rikiya is Chikara’s son is wrong simply on the basis of what’s said in the text, and it’s doubly wrong on the basis of the timeline. There is, though, one other thing I think points towards Re-Destro being exactly the descendant he says he is, not a son playing down the connection out of humility or something. This one is a lot more headcanon-y, though, so I saved it for last.

MLA Social Dynamics

It’s quite simple. We have, in the MLA, a group of people that venerates Destro’s bloodline to an obviously unhealthy degree, putting up portraits of him wherever they can get away with it, tagging his successor with a “Re-” as if to invoke reincarnation or miraculous return, entirely willing to throw their lives away for what they think was his cause, and others’ lives if those others say anything too scathing about the words Destro wrote, quite as if they treat Destro’s memoir as some sort of holy writ.

They venerate Destro that much, and you’re trying to tell me that they wouldn’t just call a spade a spade and acknowledge RD as the son of their great leader? Come on.

Since long before I turned up the matsuei factoid in researching this piece, since long before Mr. Compress gave us such a helpful generational comparison, I’ve held the opinion that, given a group that holds their leaders in such high esteem, with such particular regard for bloodline, the only reason Rikiya does just call himself a descendant, rather than citing the specific term for what he is, is that the specific term is distant enough that it actually does sound more impressive to just say “descendant,” rather than something like, “great-great-great-grandson.” That kind of thing just begs the question, “What took you guys so long?” or, “You and how many other people, buddy?”

Mr. Compress may have the panache to carry off a line like that, but Rikiya’s a different story. If he had something so amazing up his sleeve as, “I am the son of the great Destro,” I have to think he’d just say it proudly, not fall back on the impressionistic vaguery of something like chi o tsugu mono. Even if I had no other evidence to work with, I’d think the same—all the evidence you need is right there in the character writing of who Rikiya and the MLA are and how they talk about the man whose dreams Re-Destro was raised to carry.

A closing note: I will allow that Rikiya is being overdramatic when he uses matsuei and its connotation of countless generations. There are a few other things we can use to trace the history of heroism—Ujiko’s age, and the 18-years-or-less periods that One For All was held by its pre-All Might bearers—and running those numbers leads me to believe that it is, in fact, entirely possible to count the number of generations between Rikiya and Chikara, and the number, while higher than one, is probably not all that high. Certainly matsuei is being more dramatic about it than is entirely warranted, hence the poetic flourish of the official translation’s, “His blood runs through these veins!” The theatricality only makes me fonder of him, however.

[1] It was changed and reverted on Re-Destro’s page at least twice before it finally stuck in January of this year. Chikara’s page took until July to be corrected, and it’s still wrong on various other subpages.

[2] Or your kids, if you have those. Only the last generation in the bloodline is the matsuei, but that’s a moving goalpost as long as the bloodline is still propagating.

Seeing as Japan doesn’t even allow inmates conjugal visits in real life, much less in a setting where villains are so dehumanized that Tartarus is an acceptable punishment for them, the line about Destro “having a child out in the world” takes us right back to a date of conception no later than Destro’s final night of freedom.

The Forgotten Shounen: Katekyo Hitman Reborn

This is not a “Why you should watch/read khr” or anything like that. This is just me going into the deep dive and throwing my findings at you. I’m making this because khr used to be my favourite series when I was 15 (I had plushees, posters, tradingcards, the art book etc) and now as an adult I constantly find myself baffled at how unknow it seems to be.

1. Okay first what is khr?

Katekyo Hitman Reborn! or just Reborn! is a series by Akira Amano which was published in Weekly Shounen Jump from 2004 to 2012 (with 42 volumes) and got an anime adaption which run from 2006 to 2010 on Tv Tokyo (with 202 episodes and one OVA).

2. What’s it about?

Khr is a parody of the italian mafia and plays in a world where the mafia is heavily influencial. The protagonist is the japanese middle schooler Sawada Tsunayoshi who is known as “No good Tsuna” because of his failing grades, general weak and cowardly personality and weak physics.

He becomes aware of the mafia world when a 2 year old baby called Reborn arrives at his house claiming to be the greatest hitman and declaring himself his home tutor. Reborn was send by the 9th head of the Vongola famiglia who is ready to retire and looking for a new heir. Which of course, is supposed to be Tsuna and now it's Reborns job to shape him into a worthy sucessor.

Tsuna rejects the violence of the mafia world and refuses the position as the 10th. Thanks to Reborn and his general craziness Tsuna meets different people and starts to make real friendships. Reborn wants 6 of those friends to be Tsuna's future guardians, basically a group of people which will be closest to him in the vongola famiglia. Tsuna might have no interest in those positions but the friendships he builds with them become really precious to him.

Reborns arrivial also brings in the enemies of the Vongola family which leads to Tsuna being forced to engage in battles. Generally Tsuna openly avoids fights and prefers to run away but will put himself in danger for his friends' sake or because of something Reborn did.

Through out the series Tsuna matures and gains strenght but he never becomes a power fantasy. He's just a guy with many flaws who grows through the human connections he makes.

Personally I think the relationship between Reborn and Tsuna is one of the best student teacher reltaionships in all of manga only topped by Mob and Reigen from Mob Psycho 100. Especially the last arc really underlines their unique relationship to me.

Furthermore, khr offers a new and unique battle system: The flames. I'm not gonna go into to too much detail but the general idea is that one fights with their dying will flame which basically turns off your the savety switch so you can fight with everything you have. The flames are seperated into different categories such as: sky, storm, mist, rain, sun, lightning and cloud and have different attributes asigned to each one. Tsuna's use of the sky flame and his transformation when using it is still one of my favourite shounen transformations to this day.

3. What happened?

The series did really well and then not so well over the course of its serialisation. After the manga got an anime adaption it increased in populairty and video games, light novels, and other products such as CDs were created based on the series. Reborn is one of the best selling series of Weekly Shōnen Jump and has sold around 30 Million volumes overall. It was and still is very popular in Japan but rather unknown in the west.

According to the article "The Rise and Fall of Weekly Shonen Jump: A Look at the Circulation of Weekly Jump" khr was the 10th bestselling series in Weekly Shōnen Jump, with a total of 7 million copies sold in 2007.

This number increasing to 15 milion in 2008. Which placed khr into the 4th best selling series of 2008 in Japan.

Between 2008 and 2010 those sales declined but still kept strong with khr as the 6th top selling manga in 2009, 8th best selling in 2010 and then 24th best selling in 2012.

In November 2014, readers of the Da Vinci magazine voted khr number 17 on a list of Weekly Shōnen Jump's greatest manga series of all time.

After the anime came to an apprupt stop in 2010 for unknown reasons the manga sells took a visible hit. (Apparently the studio wanted to put the anime on halt because they were busy with other projects and give Akira Amano time to develop her story but I couldn't find any source for this claim) Furthermore, the rushed last chapters of the manga in 2012 declined the popularity of the series even more. There's no offical statement as to why the manga was ended in such a way but it's reasonable to assume that Jump either cut it considering the decreasing sales or Akira Amano choose to end it for personal reasons.

Nontheless, Tsuna not being included in Jump Force (a fighting game where you can play as different characters from Jump) in 2019 even tho he made it in earlier Jump Stars games also underlines the decreased interest in the series.

Rumors on a reboot or anime adaption of the last two arcs surface from time to time but are genereally unlikely. Artland the studio which made khr has gone bankrupt around 2015-2016. It might be taken on by another studio but rather uncommen especially with such an old series.

4. Art style

The khr anime ended over 10 years ago and the old art style might not be appealing to newer audiences.

Especailly because the anime adaption follows Akira Amanos old art style which heavily developed within the years. Here a picture comparing characters in the new art style:

A modern anime adaption in the new art style would be aesthetically pleasing. It would probably look similiar to Psycho Pass since Akira Amano did the concept art for this series.

(My personal art student hot take is that both art styles are unique and fun. Up to this day Akira Amano still has my favourite art style and even if the amount folds in the characters clothing is a little extreme I love it dearly.)

5. Criticism

The show is not without flaws and even if I greatly enjoy it it wouldn't be right not to adress them.

Daily Life Arc:

A lot of people view the first 20 to 25 episodes as fillers and quickly lose intererst in the series. This is due to the fact that Akira Amano inteded the series to be a gag manga and focuses the first chapters on world building, character introduction and comical narratives. It's rumored that the decision to develop the story into a battle shounen was made because the sales weren't doing well enough at first. So the first chapters/episodes may seem titidious but are necessary for the story and the development of the characters. The tonal shift from a more gintama like gag manga to a darker battle focused story can also be offputting to some viewers.

Either way a lot of people blame this arc when discussing why khr never got an english dub or didn't end up on Toonami. I've also read that the manga never finished serializing in the north america. However, it finished in other western languages like german and spanish.

Censoring:

The anime censors A LOT. From Gokudera's smoking habit, Yamamoto's whole character arc which deals with heavy themes such as depression and suicidal thoughts. The general bloodiness of the manga was censored and sometimes whole chapters and characters were left out even if those were important to the devolopment of others.

Filler episodes:

Out of the 202 episodes the anime has around 29 filler episodes which makes roughly 14 %.

Sexism:

Even if Reborn was written by a woman most female characters are rather flat and their storylines often tied to a male character in one way or another.

Genereal things:

Khr, like many other long running series, is sometimes criticised for a lack of world building or unpopular narrative choices.

6. Hope?

Khr isn't exactly dead. As stated before the series is still very popular in Japan and still gets new merch pretty regulary. There are also petitions floating around for a reboot or a new anime season but those never get a lot of traction. Furthermore #Reborn2期アニメ化 (#Reborn2ndAnimation) used to get some traction on twitter not too long ago. Last year the Anime News Network did a poll on which anime the readers would like to see a rebooot of and khr placed second.

Either way here's a collection of recent khr things I could find.

- In 2018 a new bluray set was released in north america

- The khr stage play reached yet another new season

- A mobile game was released last year

- Currently ongoing anime cafe event called "Concerto di Vongola"

- Last month there was an event with the former VAs and stage play actors where they discussed their favourite khr episodes.

- There has been an increase in blind reacts to the openings on youtube which might bring in a new fan base. The biggest one I could find had around 90k views and was made in 2019. On this note check out the soundtrack. The first openeing Drawing Days by SPLAY still makes me go insane (but I'm biased of course)

There also renewed hope for a new season/reboot because Shaman King, Inuyasha and Bleach got anounced for new seasons after a long hiatus. It's important to keep in mind that the circumstances for those series are differnt tho. For example bleachs new anime is often tied to the immense success of the gatcha game.

7. Conclusion

Khr is a series which used to be a flagship for Weekly Shounen Jump and is deeply beloved by it's fans, especially in Japan. It influenced other shounen series like bnha. It would be nice to see it gaining a bigger fanbase in the west :)

Alright! I just finished about 4-5 hws and I'm tired. Anyways!

This is a continuation from the previous post "Types of Yuus".

(I should really start making that as a tag cause I suck at doing links)

Now then, We have Bnha!Yuu- I honestly like the thought of mind reading yuu and hearing stupid thoughts from the boys haha. Or other quirks. It's still not magic as it's part of their body and ability technically.

Time for me to explain! Basically, the plot is about how we have abilities, or rather "Quirks". Quirks have helped humans grow and advance in the society. But it mainly have three jobs once you have a quirk. The "Heroes", The "Support" and the "Villains".

And our main protagonist is a male who has no quirk but dreamed to become a hero.

I'll stop here, if you want to k ow more, watch "Boku no hero academia"/"My hero academia".

Witch!Yuu- I'm still new to the twst fandom but NRC is basically a wizard school at this point. And what I meant by witch!yuu I meant by "Wandering Witch: The journey of Elaina". I'm sorry but to this day, I'm a literal fan of her. Too bad I haven't read the novels yet.

This is about a story of a girl who idolize a witch author, who writes all about her journey around the world and published them into a book.

Wanting to be like her, Elaina works day and night to be like her idol. In which, she became a genius.

Being an apprentice, to a professional witch. Well, a traveling one. As her journey continues, as a spectator, her journal also grows. Wishing to be like her idol.

And I'll stop right here.

I'm still debating if I should even do this but!

Musician!Yuu- in which music is their magic. This is a completely, well. Somewhat original au? I mean, I found one on quotev and well, I don't wanna say that I copied their idea when I already talked to my friend about it for 5 months ago. I'm also pretty decent on quotev so yeah-

Using music as their magic meaning they will be types as well.

For singers, I can say that their vocals is their mana. For how long they can sing, or how strong their vocal is.

For instrument users, I can imagine that they use their stamina or rather, control on how long they can play or how strong their passion for music is? To be completely honest I'm still thinking about it but then again, imagine playing the violin for 4 hours straight seems to be not my cup of tea. (This is also because all those wonderful designs of instruments I saw on Pinterest and Google, damn you guys, I'm tempted into painting my guitar with stickers now.)

And well... Rappers. I saw on tiktok how rappers would be the strongest in the fantasy au cause of how fast they can chant out spells and they ain't wrong. If anything, I'm terrified. Imagine someone rapping "Ice blizzard", "Wind blade", "Raffire" and "Bind" at the same times while also saying "Black hole". How are we supposed to beat them?- their too fast- but I think how their mouth or vocal will last will be their "Mana". And how strong they will be if they clearly pronounced the spell in English (seeing as Japanese is Twisted wonderland's main language and they use English for their unique magic. Also because of those post about English is a dead language?) Hypothesis mic(?) Is gonna win haha- still scary-

And DJs. Their basically mages at this point. Using their own sound tracks, other voices (if there's consent) and etc. Instead of a floating book, it's a floating screen or CD disk. If they are more and more creative, their Mana. And if the song is really really good, that's how strong they are.

I'm just thinking about how sad songs are gonna be water spells, pop songs being wind, love songs being earth or nature, Rock and roll is fire, this concerts explains a lot. Then we have metal which is ice. And etc.

Pretty much like that so yeah- and I don't think this is magic considering that their not using Mana but rather their own "Mana".

Tokyorev!Yuu- ...deuce, epel, please— I can already see the chaos.. and lectures.. ha.

I can't really say much seeing as this is a new manga and not everyone have watched it yet.

A crybaby who gone back in time. Is also a delinquent. Gangs, Gang fights, and action.

Yup, that's all I can say. (I don't want my friend seeing me accidentally spoiling others and smacking my head-)

Dimensional Traveller!Yuu- I've once read a book about two pair of teens going through dimension to dimensions. Or Universes in this case seeing as they went from anime to anime.

I'm not really sure if this is accurate, but I'll try to make it as accurate as possible!

Dimensional Travellers are basically ppl who can go from dimension to dimension. They either change the plot or world, or they stay as a spectator and leave things grow or fall.

There's also skills and such, but that's supposed to be earn by experience. You could say, a constant static check?

I'm just saying that them walking out from the dark mirror while someone sorting themselves infront of the dark mirror is really funny and chaotic.

...I need sleep. Scratch that, I need to finish at least 3 chapters of this module aaaaa

-Mina is a tik tok addict, we’ve been new.

-She knows every single sound on the app and she can dance to any song.

-So pranks have become a regular in your relationship.

-Last week she caught you off guard with the “What’s good shawty?” and let’s just say that you might have held a grudge.

-You have been searching for two days for a good trend that would actually get her.

-Because let’s be real this girl is a genius when it comes to online trends so you had to be cautious.

-Then you came across the ‘walking in naked’ trend and you knew right then and there that this was the one.

-Now Mina isn’t really one to study but you had managed to convince her to do her homework while you took a shower.

-She was trying to solve a math problem when you walked in, a towel hiding your body.

-Placing your phone on her bookcase, you left the shot and called out to her.

-Turning around she froze, watching you.

-She hadn’t seen the phone yet and with an overly dramatic flick of your wrist, the towel around you was tossed at her and you stood there in all your glory.

-Her mouth hung open for a solid five minutes.

-Pushing her chair away from her desk she got up and came up to you.

- “Don’t you have some homework to do?”

- “I’m doing you first.”

-Afterwards she saw the video and posted it on both her instagram and tik tok, making it go viral in a matter of hours.

Sero Hanta

-Tape boy knows a lot of tik tok dances from Mina and you, but apart from that he doesn’t really care about the app and he isn’t up to date with the trends.

-It’s really easy to prank him with a tik tok trend so because you are a little shit you take this to your advantage.

-You have pranked him so many times, boy feels physical pain every time you balance your phone on your bookcase.

-For the past three days or so you have stopped doing anything to him and posting it, giving the poor thing a break.

-But then, you found it.

-A trend that he would definitely like.

-He was laying on your bed reading a manga when you walked in with just a towel hiding your body from his eyes.

-You had already placed your phone without him noticing so you got right to work.

- “Sero, babe, can you look at me for a moment?”

-He sat up and immediately a blush exploded on his face.

-So when you threw him your towel and you were completely bare to him, he malfunctioned.

-He became a bubbling mess, his blush becoming even more evident and his eyes darting from your chest to the ceiling, trying to respect you and not look.

-You couldn’t stop laughing until finally he got up and wrapped you up with the towel burring his face in your shoulder, his blush remaining.

-Congrats, you just broke Sero.

Kaminari Denki

-He is a male Mina.

-So that’s on that.

-The boy can’t handle when you throw it back so you can imagine how this prank went.

-The power was down for the rest of the day.

-He malfunctioned so freaking bad, poor thing.

-He’s quite up to date with almost all the trends.

-So finding something he hadn’t seen was kind of a challenge, but you managed it.

-He was gaming with the squad when you crept into his room wearing your bathrobe and nothing else underneath.

-Placing your phone on a stack of untouched text books you called out to him.

-The moment he turned around your robe fell on his head and he couldn’t see you.

-When he did however, sparks flew and the power went off.

-You made him short circuit.

-In the distance you heard a scream that belonged to Bakugou and a door slamming shut followed by stomping that got louder and louder.

-In a panic you grabbed your robe and put it back on, snapping Denki out of his daze *kinda* and hiding behind him.

-Bakugou was MAD and was ready to beat him up until he saw you in that robe and he just did a 180 and left.

-You had to answer a lot of questions AFTER your little ‘session’ with your poor boyfriend.

Bakugou Katsuki

-BOOMER!!!!!

-He legit confused tik tok with tic tac and for a long time he thought that it was a weird internet trend.

-I swear he’s a 57 year old man in the body of a 15 year old boy with anger issues.

-It’s so easy to prank him.

-So easy that it’s borderline boring and unfunny.

-You stopped pranking him, since he had the same reaction to every single thing you tried.

-When you came across this trend you knew were it was going to lead to and your were ready for it.

-You wanted it tbh, you just were too prideful to ask for it and allow him to tease you.

-Placing your phone on a shelf you started stripping and once you were naked you grabbed one of his hoodies and waited.

-He came into the room and immediately he saw you wearing his clothes and was already started to get into the mood.

-But then you took it off and through it at him and he was tearing his own clothes off of him.

-He legit didn’t miss a beat.

-The video went viral just because people saw his abs....

Kirishima Eijirou

-Baby shark!!!

-Sweet cinnamon roll gets addicted to the app because of Mina, Denki and you.

-He knew about the trend and had decided to try it on you himself.

-He had planned everything and was ready to see you walk through the door only to see him in a towel.

-When you walked in however, you yourself were wearing your bathrobe and holding your phone...

-You could basically see the gears turning inside his head and you got it all on camera.

-From the corner of your eye you saw his phone and barely held in your laughter.

-You threw your robe on his phone knocking it over and watched his eyes widen at the sight in front of him.

-The moment his hand went to the towel around his waist you stopped recording and pounced on him.

-You captioned the tik tok ‘one brain cell I swear’ and it almost broke the internet.

-People were going crazy over his muscles and how he was eyeing you, wishing they were in your place.

-If only they could feel the aches....

BNHA Chapter 320 Short Spoiler Analysis: The Power of Friendship

The battle between Deku Vs. Class A has begun! Well, it’s technically a battle, but more so a “Catch-A-Deku” situation. Everyone is trying to use their cool Super Moves and words of friendship to try to convince Deku to come back home. They’re all reminding him all of times he helped them, so they’re trying to return the favor. So far, I think half the class was featured here including Shoto who I thought would be saved til the end. Maybe he will be featured again since he’s one of Deku’s closest friends. What’s interesting is that the trio that was shown at the end of last week’s chapter, Bakugo, Ochako, and Iida, didn’t have their heart-to-hearts with Deku this week, so I bet you they’re being saved for the end. Anyway, my left hand is still on the mend, so I’ll keep this one short this week. I hope it heals soon.

The 2nd Color page is shown this week! It’s of Froppy this time around! I think it’s been a while since we’ve seen Froppy featured in a color page, so this is cool to see. She looks really good here too. Horikoshi’s art rarely disappoints. Next week is going to be the 7th BNHA Anniversary color page and the 7th Popularity Poll announcement, so I’m excited for that. Apparently we’re going to get a lot of BNHA things next week including things for the WHM movie, Team-Up Missions, and the WHM one-shot manga.

I love how at the beginning, Bakugo breaks the 4th wall here by commenting on how Deku’s “art style” underwent a complete change. It’s both a good taunt on Bakugo’s part and some acknowledgment from Horikoshi-sensei on the change of Deku’s design in general since this arc began.

So, Bakugo did tell the rest of 1-A about Deku’s other Quirks which is good. I thought that would be the case after remembering that Bakugo read All Might’s OFA archive book. Bakugo would still look over the other Holder’s Quirks, so he would have knowledge on the 4th-6ths Holders. Problem is that none of them know of the 2nd and 3rd’s Quirks, so dealing with Fa-Jin will be troublesome. None of us know what the 2nd’s Quirk is yet though, but I have a feeling we’ll see it in this battle.

Quite a few new Super Moves debut in this chapter!

Katsuki Bakugo: Shockwave Landmine: Looks like Bakugo creates a blast on the ground so that the blast blows away anything around it like Deku’s Smokescreen. It’s a big blast too, so Bakugo’s got a lot of range with this thing.

Kiyoka Jiro: Heartbeat Wall: It’s hard to tell, but I think it’s a move where Jiro uses her sound waves to block or stop whatever comes her way. It could be really effective to stop anyone who can hear I’m sure.

Fumikage Tokoyami: Ragnorok: “Womb”: It’s a like a capturing move that traps anyone within Dark Shadow. It kind of looks like one of the moves Tokoyami uses in The Strongest Hero Game. Unless someone has a light Quirk, I can see this move being very effective in capturing villains.

Really, everyone is doing their best to remind Deku of all the good times they had with them. They’re using the power of feels and friendship to bring their sacrificial idiot home. I like to believe it’s working given how Deku is finally shown crying tears of sadness as he pushes his friends away. God, please let this kid have a good cry. How they’ll be able to catch Deku though I still have no idea.

Deku is able to overpower pretty much everyone this chapter. Even Tokoyami, who is considered one of the strongest in the class, and Momo who created this insanely complex machine to try to put Deku to sleep (how the hell did she make that anyway???). At the end he’s captured by Shoto’s Heaven-Piercing Ice Wall (which he’s standing on btw and looks so damn pretty 💙☺️), but I doubt that will last. Deku’s probably going to break right through the ice next chapter.

Speaking of Shoto, since I’m such a simp for him 😔, he has the least amount of dialogue out of everyone having heart-to-hearts with Deku. But what he says is significant: he basically asks Deku if he can still truly cry and for Deku to share the responsibility with his friends. I think this is calling back to when Shoto reassured Deku that heroes are allowed to cry back in the Overhaul arc and when Deku meddled with Shoto’s life to save him. Which is essentially the philosophy everyone’s running on. Meddling in Deku’s mission is the only way to save him now.

Side note, but I love that Kaminari is the one to tell Deku to take a freaking bath 😂! Like, we’ve all been telling Deku that, but it’s good to know that Horikoshi and his characters are thinking the same thing. Now someone has to tell Deku to eat a good meal and take a long nap.

Also, small detail, but Sato comes in at one point and reminds Deku that they won’t be able to make candied apples for Eri anymore if Deku doesn’t come back. Deku tells Sato that Eri will be fine without him 😭. No, Deku, you dumbass! Eri needs her big bro in her life! I can’t imagine how sad she must be if she already knows about Deku’s disappearance 😭❤️

I’m also glad to see pretty much every student get some kind of spotlight especially the ones who are more minor characters than the others. Koda actually gets a mini-monoluge this chapter. Also, Froppy’s got a lot of focus at the end along with the color page this chapter. Which, I’m glad to see. It’s been a long time since Tsuyu got some spotlight. Really, all the girls need more spotlight. I assume everyone else will get their shine the next few chapters.

It’s small and I’m still trying to find the meaning of it, but there’s one panel after Deku escapes from Tokoyami showing him flying through the air in the background and you can see the All Might statue at the forefront. I want to say this symbolizes Deku being All Might’s successor or something, but I’m not sure. This one just stood out to me for some reason.

But yeah, like I said, the last half of the class will probably be featured next chapter. I think Bakugo will be the last person to talk to Deku since he’s the most important one here. Remember: Bakugo knows Deku better than anyone. He will be the turning point I’m positive. Iida and Ochako will definitely have an impact on Deku, but Bakugo will truly HIT DIFFERENT! I won’t be surprised if that last conversation leads up to Deku Vs. Kacchan Part 3. I wouldn’t be mad if that will happen tbh. Part 2 was about understanding Bakugo and letting his feelings out. Part 3 could be Deku’s turn. And of course you gotta have a trilogy to cap it off. I’m really excited to see what happens next!

Is it just me or is being like "proper" rivals with someone just seem weird? Cause like to be a rival with someone, BY DEFINITION, it means you're trying to beat them. Meaning you care of what they think and if they win. Now here's my point, I can understand wanting to beat another team, but a singular person seems weird. Cause I would not be able to care enough about what one singular person thinks to be competitive towards them. Like if you hate someone that's a strong feeling, and I know what's like to hate someone, but the person I hate, I just try to avoid cause they make me angry. So like there has to be some other emotion and motive to want to beat someone, if they are sworn rival to the point where you are both competing but are also both civil? Like to me having an intense rivalry with a singular person requires deep emotional components that isn't just hate. Idk. Just me? Maybe that's why I like rivals to lover's so much? Like the passion in the rivalry just at one point goes from negative/neutral to positive? Bruh idk. I feel like this is especially apparent when they show rival reactions to each other in anime. So such intense emotions? That in some cases have no real reason to exist? Like I kinda get bkdk rivalry. But like yeah they say they "hate" each other, but like, I get why Baku might hate deku, cause he makes Baku feel inferior, but like it's been shown that deku has never held Kacchan accountable for what he did in middle school, and yea Baku can be kind of a dick but if doesn't hate for bullying what does he hate him for??? I'm so confused. And kagehina, Hinata "hates" Kags cause he beat him in his first and last middle school tournament/game. But like. What reason does Kags have to "hate" Hinata? He wasted time not actually getting better at volleyball???? What? Bruh I'm confused

Sorry for the rant. Just something I thought myself last night and I have no friends who actually have watched bnha or Haikyuu! My sister is in the fandom of bnha, but she hasn't read the manga or seen the show. She wants to read the manga before watching the show, but hasn't actually bought any of the books. Lol. But yea. She also doesn't ship bkdk. Whereas I do.

Edit: so I asked my mom about it, and she has a degree in psychology and was therapist for while, and she says that rivals to lovers is in fact a real possibility because of the reasons I've stated above, that rivalry isn't driven by competitiveness alone. She said this "most competitiveness is there because of some internal factors[such as subconscious emotions] rather than the person or object of competition itself" my point was that rivalries require a lot of passion, and that passion can be positive or negative, and sometimes positive but percieved as negative and vise versa. But that negative passion can transform and morph into positive which can result in a relationship, whether be platonic or romantic. But yea that's my point.

Edit #2: I've now watched she-ra and my point has been proven. The whole reason Catradora became enemies/rivals is because Catra loves Adora and Adora loves Catra but Adora left and so Catra was hurt. And they fought and there were misunderstandings. Its so easy for one kind of strong emotion to turn to something else, or for it to cause an equally strong negative version of the emotion. Just because they were fighting never meant they stopped loving each other, but they were at odds due to personal filters and feelings. They fought to hurt each other cause they felt like they had to. Truly they never wanted to fight each other. Catra was just hurting because of Adoras actions and didn't know how to handle it so she blamed Adora and thought that to get rid of that pain was hurt Adora the same way she hurt her, or to get rid of the person that cause the pain. Honestly. Enemies to lovers/rivals to lovers, isn't as far out or bizarre as it seems. Like, yes. In a lot of real life situations enemies to lovers and rivals to lovers would probably end badly, and that's fine. Catra and Adora ended pretty badly at first. I mean Catra tried to actively destroy reality and kill Adora. And some people, can't recover from fights like that. I mean obviously in real life someone isn't gonna try and blow up the world if they end a Relationship badly(whether be platonic or not) but you get my point. The thing about characters is that if you want, you can always have them have a happy ending. Or you can give them a tragic ending. Cause they are fictional. But you know. That's just my opinion

shinsou hitoshi

notes : hitoshi 🤝 rintarou “running on 1% constantly” like they always look like they’ll fall asleep at any moment, and i like that : )

further context : you were sought out by aizawa (your homeroom teacher) to help shinsou train. and he’s developed something for you

THE PURPLE HAIRED MAN can’t stop staring at you, and he literally hates himself for it.

well— not really. can he help it? no, but does he despise the fact that you managed to make him head over heels with you in a matter of a few meetings? most certainly, yes.

he loves looking at you. the only rule being that you weren’t looking of course, you’d be talking to aizawa about certain points shinsou had, and lacked.

while your back was facing him, he’d get the opportunity to stare at you, drinking in certain features, and body language. sometimes— if he was feeling bold that day, he’d stare at you when you’re literally beside him, and not afar.

but— he’s pretty slick at this, and you never catch him. safe to say, he’s pretty clutch at sneakily staring at you.

but what he really hated was when he found himself staring at your figure. his thoughts take such the sharp turns, i know. but you’re probably speaking to him about how he can use his capture tool in efficient ways, but he’s only looking at your lips move— as he only catches a few words.

so one day, aizawa ushers him closer— one of the few days where you’re not around (he wonders why, but he could guess it’s because you’re on that family trip you told him about, and actually— why does he remember that?)

“do you like L/N?” he asks, straight to the point.

whatever happened to hi, and how are you? he thinks to himself, but he only has one option— to say no, to deny. “no..? i mean— i like them as a friend, they’ve helped me a lot.”

aizawa doesn’t look so convinced. he turns around, fixing his capture tool “if you do things correctly, i can tell you their interests.”

“why would i need that??” he asks. but he can’t deny it, there’s a handful of things he knows about you, and a handful he doesn’t know yet. and it’s pretty clever to use you as bait.

“their favorite color.”

“i know that already,” he says, moments before he attacks his mentor

shinsou has him on the ground, and aizawa seems pleased. “they really like [favorite manga franchise] so if you wanted to get her a book or something, then find something like that.” he says, before walking away.

he’s not sure on how aizawa is actually soughting out to help him, since aizawa-sensei always struck him as protective. but at least he knows what to get as a gift.

now, you guys are sitting alone. it’s not unusual for aizawa to not be there since.. he has eri. given her age and situation, the natural response is to be concerned for her.

so he’s tending to eri. you’re sitting besides him, probably thinking in silence, as you stopped reading your book a while ago.

your breathing makes your chest rise and fall slowly, and your eyelashes flutter as you think. you’re looking straight on, and this gives an open opportunity to stare at you.

he’s observing every minor detail, every freckle, birthmark, mole— the color of your eyes, and your posture. he wonders if he looks like a creep right now.

but to him, it’s safe to assume that you’re out of his league. you’re so strong after all— why would you settle for someone that has a brainwashing quirk?

contrary to that, he likes to imagine what it’ll be like to finally be his. how you can finally be in his arms after a rough day, and how he’d tease you lovingly— yet.. he’ll still treat you right, at the end of the day.

heck, if aizawa made you babysit eri— you and him would be practically one of the best babysitters she could ever ask for.

“—insou??” your voice calls out to him, and he snaps out of his thought. your brows are furrowed— but you don’t look mad

that’s good.

“you okay? you’ve been staring at me for a while.” you note, your eyes staring at him in concern.

he’s slick, yeah- but this time, he’s been caught.

“i’m good.” he says almost as an automated response, in reality- he’s thinking of was he could salvage this, and he’s not sure what’ll happen if you find out of his crush on you.

“hm.” you hum, not very convinced. “actually, maybe you’re staring at my face because.. there’s something on it?”

“well.. no-”

“or rather.. you want to say something to me?” you get closer to him, and though you have grown friendly and casual with him- this question alone intimidates him to the max.

then he realizes that you’ve probably known about this for the longest time possible.

it’s 50/50 at this point, and you’re waiting for him to answer you- the wind blowing past you both, sun shining onto your face, giving you a beautiful glow.

“i'm just joking!” you break out of the tone that managed to intimidate him. yet, you still go on. “unless..”

“no, you’re not wrong L/N.” he looks at you for a split second, before turning away. he hopes he’s not red in the face. “i think you’re very attractive, and i can’t help but stare at you.”

huh??

“and.. i may have developed something for you.” he admits, looking at your face for a certain reaction. if it would be negative, or positive. really- just anything.

“i knew it.” you smile from silent victory, “you’re not slick at all, hitoshi.”

the use of his first name really catches him off guard, and a slight blush blooms onto his cheeks. it’s unusual, but damn- he can’t really help it at this point.

“well, hitoshi.” you turn, you’re not facing him fully anymore- yet you’re smiling. “if you have all the time in the world to stare at me, why don’t you ask me out, and we can have some time on a date?”

that’s pretty smooth. the purple haired insomniac thinks to himself, but he might as well ask you out at this point. “well, do you want to go out?”

“i see no issue,” you lean up to kiss him on the cheek briefly, and when you let go- you’re smiling.

you guys are lucky aizawa is only coming in now, so he didn’t have to see one of his ‘children’ and the person he’s mentoring kiss.

but now, shinsou can stare at you as much as he wants- and he’s certainly sure that you’re content with him doing so.

This one was so funny to write about!

My mentor's sister

You and Tokoyami quickly befriended each other during the beginning of the school year, ironically, you ended up bonding over your bird traits.

For some reason Dark Shadow loves to play with your feathers, and being the social and friendly person you are, entertaining the sentient quirk is not a big deal for you.

Tokoyami on the other hand...He's full-on embarrassed by the creature's behavior.

Have you seen those videos where people stick two feathers up a bird's head to make it look like ears? You do that to Dark Shadow all the time and he loves it.

A lot of people keep mentioning how cute you both look together, but most of the time you just brush it off...At least in the beginning.

Nobody knows this, but you guys secretly share tips about witchcraft every now and then.

By the time the sports festival came up, Tokoyami and you already started dating a few days after, although the relationship was still pretty casual something as simple as hanging out together was pretty nice.

One of your favorite past times is sitting together somewhere nice and quiet while reading some books, manga, etc. You could spend hours in silence and still be able to have a good time.

Remember my kissing headcanons with Tokoyami? Well the same thing happens here, instead of regular kisses he nuzzles your face affectionately.

Sometimes you convince Tokoyami to mess around with the other, both of you hiding in the dark while others walk by, the last thing they see are the shadow of a giant humanoid bird before screaming and running away.

He doesn't admit it out loud but Tokoyami's having the time of his life pulling that prank with you.

Some people end up being surprised seeing someone as friendly as you dating someone as mysterious as Tokoyami, but then they see you both hanging out and don't ask anymore.

Theeeen comes the part about family.

When Tokoyami tells you WHO he's going to an internship with he can see you freeze comically at the mention of Hawks.

"Say what now?"

The funniest -or rather scariest- thing is your wings going all big and puffy, if that doesn't scare somebody the look in your eyes definitely does.

So far nobody outside school knows you're both dating and a small part of your brain is glad about it once Tokoyami send a text mentioning how everything's going well at his internship.

Though a few months later your boyfriend's confused when his mentor comes to visit his classroom and right as he steps inside with a huge grin on his face, Y/N just stands up from her seat mumbling "nononononono" and yeets herself out the window.

The students are shocked, Hawks is moping in the corner and Aizawa is 100% done. He just looks out the windows and yells "You're suspended Takami!"

After coming back everyone's starts asking about your reaction to Hawk's appearance, that's when they find out he's your older brother and well, it's quite a surprise since only a handful of people knows the winged hero's real name.

Poor Tokoyami turned into stone at the realization he had no idea his girlfriend's the sister of his mentor and one of the top ranking heroes.

He's not really upset, and realizes the signs were a bit too obvious, the same quirk, eye markings and even some similarities in their behaviours one could point out if they paid enough attention.

Of course, the last one is also overridden by Y/N's behaviour towards her brother.

"C'mon Y/N! Don't you want a hug from your dear ol' big brother?" Hawks whines while trying to approach them during a date, grining teasingly at his little sister.

"Had it not been for the laws of this land I would have slaughtered you!" She goes as far to threaten him with her own blade feathers, something Y/N rarely does.

Tokoyami was lucky his mentor found out about their relationship after the internships, otherwise Hawks would have ended up scaring him off with that characteristic glare of his (Manga readers will know what I'm talking about)

Tho Y/N has the same glare so Tokoyami's partially immune to it.

Saying Hawks approves of their relationship is putting it lightly, he's actually over the moon when he found out Tokoyami's the guy you're dating.

He wasn't spying on you after you made a post about going to he movies with your boyfriend.

Takami may fully approve their relationship with joy, but That doesn't mean he won't tease his baby sister every now and then in front of her boyfriend.

"Should I throw corn chips at the wedding instead of rice?"

"I'LL BLOODY END YOU KEIGO!!!"

"Tokoyami, did you know Y/N came out of an egg? That means it's highly possible she'll lay one if she has a baby!"

"OH MY GOD STOP IT WITH THE EGG THING ALREADY YOU BIRDBRAIN, FUMI DON'T LISTEN TO HIM!!!"

"You guys will literally have a baby chick once you decide to have children! Isn't that nice?"

"...Fumi...Please hold my bag"

Dark Shadow pulled a pair of pom poms out of nowhere when Y/N started chasing Takami around, and even began cheering for her once she got Takami in a headlock.

"What a mad banquet of darkness..." Tokoyami mutters while his mentor's turning blue because of the girl's grip on him.

Remember when I said these two share tips about witchcraft? One time Takami was being unbearable so Y/N just grabbed a smudge stick and slapped him with it.

Tokoyami started choking on his tea when he saw the scene unfolding before him.

He tried hard but failed to contain his laughter when Hawks held his face all while giving his sister the most offended look in his whole life, so dramatic it could have been worthy of an Oscar.

*Starts drama in Japanese*

favorite color: aqua blue !! ive officially dubbed this as “my color” in my apartment with my roommates, so basically everything I own is this color lmaoo. blankets, towels, even spoons in the kitchen.

currently reading: the girl king by Mimi Yu !! I actually LOVE reading but I don’t have a lot of time for it nowadays :((( I went on a long trip a little while ago tho and brought this book along to pass time and it’s made me remember how much I love reading 😌

last song: 119 by nct dream. yes I am a kpoppie, don’t come for me. (but if anyone ever wants to scream about kpop, hit me up 👀)

last series: uhhhh not sure if this counts but for a while I was reading the bnha manga. my mom worked at a library so I just stole the physical copies from there hehehe. my FAVORITE series would have to be either Percy Jackson or anything shadowhunters written by Cassandra Clare. If we’re talking TV series, uhhhhh it’s probably some niche true crime series that my mom and I found on tv lol

last movie: omg I literally cannot remember. I usually don’t have time to actually sit down and watch whole movies. It might’ve been a month ago when I made all my roommates watch Shutter Island with me. that’s a good movie, love the psychological thrillers

sweet, savory, or spicy: sweet and savory !! I cannot handle spicy things AT ALL, I’m such a baby. my dad once dared me $10 to eat a jalapeño at some restaurant, just a little slice, not even a whole thing. I did it, drained every single glass of water on the table (I don’t like milk :/ ), spilled another glass of water, and my nose started bleeding. best $10 I ever made tho

currently working on: passing my classes 😭😭 not really anything in particular at the moment, tho I have a lot of ideas for stuff if I ever get time and motivation to write again. recently been brainrotting over a diluc harem with childe thoma itto and gorou where theyre all bfs and all love each other and so cute bf things 🥰

Gojo Satoru

This man would take you to a very expensive cafe not minding the cost.

He had first planned to go on a picnic with you first but thought you would like a cafe date better

During the whole date, he flirted with you. As a response you flirted with him back, which made him a little blushful.

When the waiter came to give you your drinks and food, you noticed a small piece of paper on your plate near your food.

When you opened the paper, it had a number written on it. It must have been the waiter's number.

Noticing the uncomfortable expression on your face Gojo took the paper from your hand suddenly and looked at it.

Then he looked towards where the waiter was working and two made eye contact. Gojo sent him a cold stare which made him back off.

"Maybe next time let's go on a picnic." Gojo suggests as the two of you leave the shop.

"Yeah maybe, the food was great though."

Fushiguro Megumi

He goes to a lot of cafes often. So he decided to take you to his favorite one.

It was normal a cafe and it had an amazing smell of hot coffee.

You guys sat at the table near the window and ordered what you guys wanted.

You talked a lot while Megumi listened happily to what you had to say.

Megumi had ordered a black coffee while you went with iced coffee

When you guys were drinking your coffee, you looked outside the window and choked on your coffee a little.

"Are you okay?" Megumi asked.

When he looked outside, he too was stunned

There it was, Gojo, Itaodri, and Kugisaki's face sticking to the window.

You couldn't help but laugh when you saw their faces. While Megumi got extremely irritated at the three.

The three of them confessed that they had decided to spy on the two of you but Kugisaki and Itadori blamed Gojo saying it was his idea.

Gojo became dramatic at the 'betrayal'

In the end Megumi smacked the three across the head and the two of you continued with your date.
