I come again w/ another Tim Drake au!!
So there's this fanfic "If We Could Only Utter the Words Left Unsaid" by TaintedCure on AO3
And now I wanna share an idea
TW for suicide because of Timothy + death-fueled-time-travel
Basically, whenever somebody kills Tim, they go back in time, and there's no limit to how many times he can die. they go back far enough to prevent his death or not do an attempt on his life
He dies during Titans Tower? Back in time you go Jason!
Cut his line and he broke his neck and died? Damian is now back in time!
Some goon cracked his skull too well? Say hello to the past bucko!
Hell, even accidental murders still register so if you were to accidentally push him off too high a ledge you're getting the Time Travel Treatment
Hey maybe Tim still is aware of his time travel powers, but only when it comes to natural causes (like hypothermia) or suicides, so as a result he thinks he knows it all when he in fact doesn't
So yeah, unless somebody spills, Tim is clueless to the whole truth of his powers
I imagine only old age would do him in at this rate
It'd be like real interesting to see all the POVs, especially if they think they know all the loops
Like there's Tim who's regularly exploited his powers to get perfect results but is trying to convince himself he isn't being too frivolous with his life since he's saving lives or making them better
Then there's the people who did him in and may or may not even be aware that the time travel they experiences was because they killed the Third Robin or got him killed
Then there's the people who've done him in maybe one, twice or multiple times and have clocked into the fact that murdering Tim is an exercise in futility
TW: suicide (powers revolving traveling time by dying), violence/abuse (skip the angst if you don't want the second one), and death.
Now, this is a very interesting concept, and I'm probably gonna get lost in the setup for a bit.
The way that Tim's powers work would have to be defined really well. How far back can he go? In the fic you mentioned, he has a save point, basically. He can die an infinite amount of times, but he'll only return to his save point unless he reaches past the OG time he died. He can play around as much as he wants between the savepoint and his death, but a new savepoint gets set up after he passes his OG death time. It also indicated a decrease in time he went back (or his savepoint was established) so that he'll eventually die for good if he kept using his powers. That solves a lot of continuity issues.
However, the setup for Tim's powers could be like SSS-Class Suicide Hunter. For those who aren't familiar, the MC revives 24 hours in the past. He ends up killing himself thousands of times to end up at least a decade in the past. It's been a while since I've read it, but that's the basics of it.
If we're working off of those rules, anyone who kills Tim is only working with 24 hours in the past. You can add more or less time to fit your AU better.
I have some questions about the setup. You mentioned that the person who kills Tim would get sent back without his knowledge. Therefore, in Tim's mind, has he never been murdered? Or, is it a two for one ride into the past? Does the villain get sent back into the past, but Tim doesn't know the past has been changed? Or does Tim get sent back as well, but he doesn't know the villain is also sent back?
Imma get into the angst in a bit if Tim doesn't get sent back into the past when he gets murdered.
However, the issue with this is fucking with the timestream. If a goon kills Tim, ends up 24 hours in the past, and past Tim kills himself within those 24 hours, what the hell is the timeline? Does the goon still get sent back in time? Does Tim get sent back, and then, when the goon is supposed to, his consciousness gets sent back during that time? Does Tim killing himself wipe out the goon being able to travel back in time?
Continously, I assume if villains found out about the power, they would gun for Red Robin with prejudice because they know they'll get a cheat that way. They get a ticket to the past if they kill the bird. They get a redo.
Alright. Angst time!
~~
Bruce is the first one to find out about Tim's power. He's training with Tim when, as per usual, he takes it a bit too far. The man has a habit of not pulling his punches in a fucked up version of trying to push Tim away from being Robin. This time, when he punches Tim, the kid doesn't get up. It's a wonder he didn't hear the awful crack or notice Tim's neck wasn't quite right. Only not recieving an answer after berating Tim about not getting up causes Bruce to pause. He doesn't hear breathing.
Oh gods. He doesn't hear breathing. Is Tim dead? Did he kill Tim? Did he break his nec-
Bruce snaps to attention mid lecture to Robin. They are both in the cave (not on the training mats not on the mats not on the mats), and it seems the exact same as it was yesterday when he was yelling at Tim about proper batarang maintenance.
Tim, ever the observant Robin, leans forward as if to ask if Batman was okay. Bruce flinches back.
Tim's eyes widen in shock as he takes a step back. In the year or so he's worked with Bruce, he's never gotten that response to initating touch. Tim's eyes flicker down to his hand in recrimination and puzzlement.
Bruce takes a shaky breath in before dismissing Tim for the night. The child is hesitant to flee but follows the request.
Bruce doesn't know what happened and he's not sure he wants to find out.
This cues Bruce being kinder to Tim and less harsh. The detective figures out that Tim has a time traveling power upon death, but it appears as if Tim isn't aware of it (he doesn't know that Tim constantly kills himself for better results in field). Tim never finds out that Bruce's change in behavior to him was born of guilt. He never learns that his dad killed him.
~~
Next angst!
Two concepts with Jason.
One, Jason creates a fucked up timeloop with Titan's Tower where he kills Tim over and over again in fucked up ways until he satiates his desire for bloodlust. If Tim is still aware of the Tower incident, that's because Jason wanted him to be. Whether Jason becomes guilty about this timeloop he created or not could also be explored. There is a fic out there kind of similar to this concept (timeloop Titan's Tower, not the added element of Tim's powers).
Two, Bruce does end up killing Jason in the showdown with the Joker. He batarang slices Jason's neck, the building blows up, and Jason never emerges. There's a few ways to add on top of this angst. If Titan's Tower happened before this (and Tim was left beaten), that means Tim chose to kill himself to save Jason. Jason will never know. That, or Titan's Tower happens afterwards and Jason tortures Tim not knowing the teen saved him from a second death at the hands of his father (ironically Tim also doesn't know that he's been killed by Bruce).
~~
Last Angst!
Damian finds out about Tim's power and abuses it constantly. He's a kid that was raised to be an assassin and found someone he can kill that also gives him the benefit of getting away with anything. As long as the kill goes through, he's golden.
Eventually, Damian starts to slow down on this. He doesn't really want to see Drake choking on blood again.
He one day finds that he hasn't tried to kill Drake in months and he doesn't really want to try to.
Then he finds that list.
Then he cuts Drake's line.
Then he has to relive those 24 hours again knowing he killed someone he was starting to trust.
Bonus angst if Tim finds out, jokingly asks his family members how many times they have killed them, and finds out Dick is the only one who hasn't (Tim killed himself after the 16th birthday incident and he somewhat blames Alfred for that, though he'll never tell him).

Important
Tumblr media
genre: fluff, angst, established relationship
pairing: idol!Jihoon x reader
summary: Jihoon is a busy guy, everyone knows that. But why does it hurt so much when he can't even make time for his own girlfriend? All you want is Jihoon's love and affection, why is that so difficult?
warnings: a bit of swearing
note: This fic includes some lyrics from the song All My Love by SEVENTEEN (If you haven't heard this song, I strongly recommend you listen to it. It's such a good song!!) I hope you enjoy reading the fic <33
Tumblr media
"Am I really that important to you?"
There's tears in your eyes when you ask Jihoon the question you've been wondering about for the past few weeks.
Part of you knows you're just being irrational. Jihoon has other things he needs to focus on. He's an idol and a producer for fucks sake, it's practically guaranteed that he's going to be busy with work 24/7. So it's unrealistic for you to expect him to be able to make time for you whenever you feel the need for some company.
But the other part of you feels lonely. Coming home everyday to the sight of an empty apartment without Jihoon isn't exactly the most uplifting sight to see. And even when Jihoon on the rare occasion, does come home, all you are able to see is his passed out figure before he leaves in the morning while you still sleep.
All you want is Jihoon's love and affection, why is that so hard?
You receive your answer to that very question in the way Jihoon sits in a distracted silence when he hears your question. His eyes looking at his computer in a daze, too busy thinking up of ideas for new songs to produce rather than looking at the way you're about to burst into tears.
"Fine. If you can't even give me one second of your time and focus I'm going to leave," you yell angrily as more tears spring into your eyes. You quickly stand up from your position on Jihoon's couch and exit his studio, slamming the door behind you.
"WAI-" Jihoon starts to shout, finally finding his voice. His eyes widen while his hand is outstretched toward the direction of his door as if it's going to make you come back.
But it's too late.
You're gone.
Tumblr media
Jihoon knows he fucked up.
More than that actually.
He knows that it's his fault your relationship with him feels so one-sided. He has a habit of overworking himself. Oftentimes minutes in the studio turning into hours before turning into days of being cooped up producing songs, causing him to neglect the very people he wants to spend all his time with.
Jihoon wishes he could tell you how much he loves you, that he's not trying to neglect you on purpose. He just sometimes gets caught up in his work and doesn't realize when it's time to take a break. He wishes he could tell you that he misses you as much as you miss him, even though he doesn't show it.
But now he has no idea what he could possibly do to solve the predicament he's in. Jihoon could talk with you, but he knows he's not the best with confrontation. Jihoon could give you a few days of space, but he knows that it's probably not the best choice since the whole reason you got mad was because Jihoon wasn't around you enough.
So, Jihoon turns to what he's best at doing. What he does when he doesn't have a clue on what to do.
Songwriting.
Sometimes he'll write songs for his members, comforting them through his lyrics. Other times he'll write songs for Carats, wanting to share with them some encouraging and happy tunes.
But this time, he's writing a song for you.
Jihoon knows that writing a song for you won't make you forgive him instantly, but the most he can do is try to make things better a little bit at a time.
Tumblr media
It's 3 in the morning when you hear a knock at your front door. As the rain falls softly on your window, the only question that on your mind is, who the heck is outside your house at such an ungodly hour?
Feet shuffling along the cold floor, you sleepily walk over to your door and open it. Your sleepy eyes are still trying to make sense of the situation when Jihoon stands outside your apartment door.
In front of you stands a drenched Jihoon with puffy red eyes carrying his signature black backpack that is absolutely ginormous on him.
"Jihoon? What are you doing here?"
Mumbling something incoherently, you watch, still half-awake, as Jihoon slowly walks up to you and gently wraps his arms around you.
As you feel the wetness from Jihoon's shirt begin to seep into your own shirt, you try to softly push Jihoon away. But that only makes Jihoon hug you tighter. "Don't go...,"you hear him mumble as he presses his face into the crook of your neck, and that's when you realize that Jihoon is crying.
You're torn.
Seeing your boyfriend cry is a rare occurence and as much as you want to hug him tightly and kiss away all his tears, you want to run away because how can he come back to your apartment as if nothing had happened in these past few months.
"I'm sorry," Jihoon says, his voice cracking and mouth quivering, as he cries, letting his tears drop messily into the fabric of your shirt.
Taking Jihoon's face in your hands, you quietly rub away his tears which only makes him cry harder. Leaning into your touch, he takes hold of your wrist and gently rubs it. "I-I'm really sorry. You don't deserve a terrible boyfriend like me."
"No, don't say that. You know what, how about I get you a towel so that you can dry yourself off and then we can talk more, okay?
"Okay"
By the time you return from the bathroom, towel in hand, Jihoon is sitting on the couch and pulling his computer out of his bag. "oh...are you going to be working more?"
He can hear the disappointment in your voice when you ask the question, you're so used to him working all the time that you're not even angry ... you're just disappointed. Jihoon feels a wave of guilt wash over him as he realizes that all the things you said to him before were true, he was just too busy to realize it.
"Ah, no. I have something to show you," Jihoon says with a tired smile as he pats the seat on the couch beside him, inviting you to sit.
Hesitant, you take a seat next to your boyfriend and look at his computer screen where you can see him open a file. You then watch as Jihoon pulls out a pair of earphones and plugs them into the computer.
Putting the earbuds into your ears, Jihoon presses play as his eyes shake, nervously watching your face for any kind of reaction.
The second the melody of the song plays into your ears, you feel like crying out of disbelief. "You made a song for me?" you ask, suprise etched all over your face, as you look towards Jihoon's direction.
Nodding with a small but nervous smile, Jihoon then motions for you to continue listening.
And it's when you reach the part of the song where you can hear the lyrics sung by the sweet honey voice of your boyfriend, when you begin to cry.
Just likе a pouring meteor shower Please be the light in the dark sky I can do everything for you For you I just want to give you everything And that makes me feel small, a fool who only accepts It suddenly makes me hate myself And makes me feel sorrier towards you
"Oh- Jihoon-," you start to say with tears in your eyes as you close the gap between you and Jihoon and give him a tight hug, your face pressed against his chest. "This is beautiful," you continue on to say sincerely.
Blushing, Jihoon quietly mutters with a nervous laugh, "you haven't even finished the song, listen to what i'm trying to say."
Following Jihoon's instructions, you lean on him and quickly refocus your attention back on the song.
Though it was hard writing my feelings down And all I have is this song and these lyrics For you, for you, for you, for you I sing this song for you tonight So I can get closer to your love
My love only amounts to this But my feelings will never change, for you baby Even if my love only amounts to this I'll be your umbrella in the rain I'll protect you on all your days
By the time you finish listening to Jihoon's song for you, you're in shambles. "fuck- Jihoon, I love you so much you know? I'm still mad at you but I still love you so much," you say as tears roll down your cheeks. Pressing your forehead against Jihoon's, you lean in to give him a chaste kiss on the lips.
Jihoon freezes for a moment before immediately tugging you closer to his body and reciprocating your kiss. "I don't deserve someone as precious as you,"he whispers before devouring your lips into another kiss.
When both you and Jihoon finally break away from each other to get some oxygen into your lungs, Jihoon gently takes your hands into his own. "I-I'm really sorry though. I was a terrible boyfriend these past few months, but I'm going to work on trying to improve myself. Even though I'll probably be busy with producing songs, i'll try to make time for you."
You let out a relived smile when you hear Jihoon's sincere words. "Okay, and I understand if you need time for other things too."
Jihoon gives you a small nod and a smile. "And to answer your previous question, of course you're important to me. For fucks sake you're my girlfriend, you're one of the most important people in my life. How can you not be important to me?" Jihoon says while cupping your face before continuing on to say," just because I don't show it, doesn't mean I don't feel it."
"I love you," he finally whispers with a smile as he places a small peck on your lips.

Tumblr media
"Hey Price, how are we going to know who to not shoot if shit goes down?" Soap asked through the comms, Price looking out the windows to try and find the man. He took a sip of the drink he was holding, watered down whiskey that he's been holding on to since they got there.
Price looked around the venue, counting the people working with him. "Anyone wearing red," his eyes landed on you. Bright red dress hugging your curves, a sly smile on your face as you spoke with someone. Your eyes never stopped moving, catching his for a second before moving on.
He kept looking around. Price could see the political figure they were sent to protect, some American whose head was on the black market. A few of your own soldiers were scattered around, some sitting at the bar, others chatting amongst themselves near entry points.
From the debriefing you'd given, it was a hit or miss when it came to whether or not he would be attempting to snipe the man or go in for a quick shot. So you'd gotten Ghost and Soap, alongside two of your own sharp-shooters to set up at vantage points along the outside of the high-rise, the rest would set up inside. It was your decision to mark the teams a color, just in case the sharp-shooters got confused within the confusion of someone causing a panic.
Price had liked you from the beginning. Quick witted and smart, letting him relax from taking the lead for once. He'd known you just under 24 hours and you intrigued him.
"You might want to stop staring, Price, it could lead to some unwanted attention," your voice came through the comms, and when he looked for you, you hadn't been in the same place you were just a few moments ago.
Your arm wrapped around his, giggling a little but staring through him.
"Seriously, the guy in white has been watching me for a few minutes now, and I don't think he just wants to buy me a drink," you shifted just a bit, allowing Prices head to move in the direction the guy you'd been talking about. Price gave a fake laugh, pulling you in closer to him, watching the man turn away.
Price looked down at you. "Do you think he knows?" You looked away for a moment, giving a faint shrug at that. "Is he someone from your past?" You grimaced slightly. "Oh lord, do tell," he smiled slightly.
You pulled back a bit, giving a small face. "He was wanted a few years back for attempted murder on some big guy, he got the military sent after him and we were who got sent. He really didn't like that, especially when he was released with no connections to the crime," you glanced back slightly, eyes flittering to find the man, but he seemed to disappear.
Price looked as well, but couldn't find him, so his eyes found yours again and tugged you a little closer.
"You know what?" You hummed in response. "I don't quite think I've seen someone quite as beautiful as you," you snorted, shaking your head.
"Very forward, aren't you?" You smiled at him. He gave a shrug, eyes looking over you. "As much as I appreciate the compliment, I do think your pretty little eyes should be looking elsewhere," you whispered to him.
Price found himself looking over your head, finding Gaz giving him an interesting look before gazing away. "We both know how often we have time for interesting people, might as well take the time we have, huh?" You rolled your eyes a little, sliding your hands up his chest.
"I can't help but agree with that sentiment, John," you smiled, spinning in his arms and gazing out across the room. "I think it'll seem a little suspicious that we're standing together so long, so I'll be back to 'flirting' with whoever will talk to me," you used air quotes, rolling your eyes softly before disappearing back amongst the crowd. Price gave a small laugh, taking another sip of the watered down whiskey and glancing back around the room.
A few more men walked in, all wearing white as well. This caught his attention, watching as they met up with the first man. He watched you spin slightly towards them, keeping the group of guys in your line of sight. You gave Price a small glance over your glass, looking back at the men and he tilted his head back, going to take a sip from his glass to cover his mouth.
"Keep an eye on the men in white," affirmatives were given to him over the comms, and he could see a few of your own men shifting themselves to get an eye on the group.
The group of them had started to surround the man the group of you were hired to protect, and you watched as a few of your own men started to tense.
Your fingers twitched, making the men in your squad pause. Price watched as you stood, nearly gliding over to one of the new-comers and dragging him away, rubbing yourself on him and whispering something in his ear. Price could see the smirk from where he stood, watching as you guided him to a couch and your hand sliding to his neck.
Price assumed it was a tranq you hit him with, watching the man slump over before you stood. You gave the men a quick gesture, watching as the three others started to press in. Price placed the drink he'd never been able to finish on the table, pushing off and adjusting his sleeves as he moved in on them as well. It was when the man in the back pulled out a gun that any of you moved quicker.
"Hey!" You shouted, pulling a pistol from a holster on your thigh, aiming it straight for the man.
Through the chaos, Price couldn't see exactly what had happened. People had started running and screaming, shoving him around but he could hear a gunshot, quickly followed by the sound of glass breaking and bullets whistling by. The sounds of bodies dropping weren't slow to follow them, and Price kept pushing through the screaming crowd.
When he finally got through the crowd, he saw the three men on the ground, your pistol was lowered, staring down at the men now lying motionless with red staining their suits. You looked behind you and found Price, two of your men on your squad had come around to check the guys.
The guy you were protecting was shaken, and you turned your attention to him. You leaned in to him, arm on his shoulder and guiding him to a seat, getting him to sit down. Price looked back around, the area mostly deserted by civilians.
"Keep an eye out. We don't know if they're the only ones sent," he said through the comms, eyes still moving through the area. As much as Price tried to stop it, his eyes couldn't stop finding you. You were smiling and laughing with the man, and he felt pangs of jealousy.
Why? You were a colleague at this point, there was no reason to feel this way. You'd come and you'd go, just like the others he worked with. There was something different, though. You were beautiful, yes, but you had more personality than the others he'd worked with.
Especially the way you spoke with people, understanding and elegance with the way you talked. He appreciated a well-spoken person.
Price felt a touch on his arm, snapping out of his stupor and looking down at you. Your head jerked to the side, tugging him out of the room.
"He didn't even know he had a hit out on him," you started, finding a mirror hanging in the hall and looking yourself over. "Usually these kind of men believe that they're getting hunted, at all times, but he seems genuinely shaken," you looked at Price. "You think it's just a ruse?"
He had to think for a moment, eyes flittering over you. He leaned against the wall, rubbing his beard for a moment.
"I honestly think he's full of it," he gave you a smile and you huffed, rolling your eyes. Price leaned towards you, hands finding your hips. "Let's be honest, he hasn't got much going for him. I've seen his press, and it isn't pretty," you smiled, leaning towards him, arms sneaking up his chest.
"I'm sure he won't be the only one full of something this evening, like you said, we should take our chances when we can," you slid backwards, tugging him alongside with you, hands sliding into his and turning to find where you were intending to go.
Turning the corner, you opened the bathroom door and dragging him inside. Price locked it behind the two of you, watching as you continued walking, stopping in front of the sinks and mirrors. He stalked up to you, hands sliding along your hips and grabbing at your waist, pressing you into the sink.
He could feel you pressing back against him, sliding his arms up to unzip your dress. You slid the straps off of your arms and let the dress fall, unveiling your braless chest and simple panties, his eyes grazing across you through the mirror.
Spinning around, you dropped to your knees in front of him and palming him through his pants. He watched as you undid his belt, undoing his button and unzipping his pants. You gave a little smile, tugging his pants and briefs off of him.
John groaned, letting his head fall back as his hand found your head. He could feel your hand sliding along his cock before the heat of your mouth took him. Your tongue slid along his head before moving to take him deeper.
Your hand stroked what your mouth couldn't comfortably fit and he moaned with each suck, hand helping to guide you to a steady rhythm. When he looked down, your eyes were already searching for his. He couldn't help but let his mouth drop open with his moan, hand pushing for your mouth to move faster.
A short chuckle escaped him with the gag you let out, eyes scrunching shut as he started abusing the back of your throat. He watched as a few tears escaped your eyes, rolling down your cheeks before he tugged on your hair to pull your head off of him.
Your eyes stayed shut, a thin string of spit connecting you to him and he smiled at that. Price tugged you up, sitting you back on the sink and leaning in to suck and nip at your neck.
"You'll be a good girl for me, won't you?" He smiled into your neck, hand sliding down to push your panties to the side. He could feel how wet you were even through the cloth, and stroked from your clit to your opening, sliding a finger in.
Your head dropped back as you moaned, leaving your neck open to more attacks from his mouth. He sucked bruises into it, curling his finger into your g-spot and feeling your hand find his wrist, grasping it tightly.
Price chuckled, sliding another finger in, trying to stretch you out. He could feel you pulsing against his fingers, hand tugging at his wrist with each movement he made.
He nipped your neck. "Come on, sweet girl, beg for me," he whispered into your ear, watching as your eyes just barely opened and mouth closing before trying to talk. When you did, he added one more finger, watching your eyes roll back when he kept pumping against your g-spot, thumb sliding against your clit.
God, he could listen to your moans for hours, little whines close to his ear when he moved to continue nipping at your neck. He pulled his fingers out, tugging you off of the sink and bending you over it instead.
He stroked his cock along your folds, watching your head drop between your arms.
"Please," it was a whisper, slightly crackly from the moans you'd been giving him.
"Please, what?" He urged you on, feeling your hips grind back on him, trying to get him to slide in. John tugged your head back by your hair, making you look at him through the mirror. "I'm not doing anything until you ask me to, sweet girl," he leaned back up, holding your hips still.
You blinked at him, slow and thoughtless. "Please, Captain, fuck me. Need your cock in me, sir, please," and he pressed in, sliding slowly into you. He watched your mouth drop open and brows furrow, eyes struggling to remain open.
Bottoming out, John let his head fall back, moaning low in pleasure. Your cunt was spasming around his cock, pleasure pooling from where you could feel him pressed so deeply in you. Gasping moans fell from your mouth when he pulled back out, fingers finding your clit and stroking slow.
Not waiting too much longer, he started to quicken his pace, dropping your hair to pull your hips back to meet each of his thrusts. Your arms shook from holding yourself up and stopping yourself from moving too much with each thrust, head falling back between them. You finally shut your mouth, swallowing thickly around a moan.
You could feel your cunt begin to spasm, pleasure spreading through your gut and causing a few tears to fall. Each thrust stuttered your moans, your hands grasping the sink under you harder as you came, the pleasure making your legs buckle, leaving John as the only source holding you up.
He didn't stop his rampage on your clit, one of your hands finding his and trying to pull it back.
"No, you don't get to pull me away from your pretty little clit," he shoved you back over the sink, hand getting caught under your body and stopping you from moving it anymore. "I'll keep you cumming around me, sweetheart, and you'll take it," he whispered and flicked his fingers around you clit faster.
You could feel the tears pouring down your cheeks as your body jerked with each press of his cock on your g-spot, each time his fingers stroked on your clit.
Head dropping, John looked down at where he could feel you sucking him in, watching your cunt drag him back in each time he pulled out. Your little gaspy whines echoed in the bathroom, and he slid his hand along your back to grab at your ass.
"Such a good little thing for me, hmm?" He glanced at the mirror, seeing your eyes scrunched shut and feeling your hips begin to twitch with another orgasm. "Cumming again so soon?" John couldn't help but smile at that, giving your ass a smack and feeling your cunt spasm. With a chuckle, he regained his torture against your clit and picked the speed back up.
He leaned over you, biting at your neck and sucking another hickey into it, hearing you gasp into your orgasm and grow silent, your cunt spasming around his cock with each flick over your clit. You could feel the searing pleasure flow through you, sliding against the sink with each thrust.
Seemingly regaining your voice, you let out a high pitched moan and writhed against him. John could feel his own orgasm building up on him and he relented on your clit, grabbing your hips tightly with his hands, tugging your hips back into his thrusts before pulling out, stroking his cock until he came along your ass.
John took a moment to admire you, his cum coating your ass and your slick dripping down your thighs. He tucked himself back into his pants, grabbing a paper towel to clean you up and grabbing your dress, sliding it over you, helping you zip it up.
Wiping the mascara that dripped down your face, he gave you a small smile. "You doing okay?" And all you could do was nod, letting your head fall onto his chest. He stood there, arms wrapping around you and slowly rocking you.
"'m okay," you whispered, wrapping your own arms around him. His head dropped onto yours, letting his smile grow.

Can you do a Neymar fic where he calls her clingy behind her back and she overhears and changes
i'm done doing the "pairing, summary, cw" thing cause it's kinda obvious by the req! also i changed this into more of an argument LOL.
angst!! insecurity. mentions of past relationships were reader was cheated on.
-
you and neymar had always been open about what you want out of your relationship, how you feel about certain things- etcetera.
you gave him your all- always making sure his jerseys were ready for whatever game he had next, making sure he had food to eat after practice, and letting your hearts beat together at night- him holding you close.
during practice season him, messi, and kylian would all carpool and switch off, this time in particular messi and kylian decided it best that they would come over after practice and play some fifa on the couch.
when neymar came in- you welcomed his friends and pressed a kiss to his cheek.
you were working on something on your laptop so you went straight back to the room and continued working on it.
after about half an hour you needed to use the bathroom which was directly across the hall from the living room, you sat your laptop on the bed and quietly made your way to the bathroom so as to not disrupt the guys.
once you'd done your business, you washed your hands and dried them.
"antonella wasn't able to be home last night so i woke up so late." you heard lionel's voice echo through the living room.
"i couldn't imagine having to go home to someone every single night and not be able to drop onto the bed and just fall asleep- i feel bad for you guys."
at this. neymar laughed loudly, "honestly, it becomes a lot- having to talk to them 24-7- especially y/n she's a little-"
"clingy?" lionel questioned. curious to where this was going.
you could've sworn your heart dropped- time seemed to slow down as you waited for his answer.
"extremely. she's just-" he also laughed and sighed at the same time. "not simple."
your heart dropped even further, your eyes brimming with tears. were you honestly that clingy? were you mistaking being caring with being a burden? were you really that bad? so bad that he had to talk about you like this while you were still in the house.
your ears were ringing, how many times had he spoken down on you like this without you knowing? so many questions and regrets.
your hand was still on the doorknob, if you left now he would know that you'd overheard and it would result in an awkward and insincere apology from him. but you couldn't just hideout in the bathroom.
you'd decided to leave the bathroom, trying to slip by as you did before- it went unnoticed by everyone in the room that you rushed past with your head down.
neymar was laughing for practically the rest of his friends visit before they'd decided to call it a night and head home.
you on the other hand were sat on the bed- laptop closed. your thoughts focused on only one thing.
the pressure in your throat builds as tears still stung at your eyes. every single betrayal came back crawling onto your shaken skin- every disloyal relationship, every time you'd been cheated on, thought of as lesser than, everytime you wanted to crawl out of your own skin, the skin that neymar had worshipped.
"she's just not simple."
you squeezed your eyes shut, you'd gotten too comfortable. you were torn back to those times where you were struck with someone elses dishonesty- poisoned by their greed. where those that you loved were too blind to see that your kindness was their stability. undermined, unworthy, and manipulated.
maybe you'd blown it out of proportion, he laughed when he said it- he must've not meant it. wether he was saying it to make his friends laugh or not- it had no other outcome than tears running down your cheeks, desperately trying to pull yourself together.
you looked at yourself in the mirror- you felt so stupid, so small, so insignificant like the life had been torn from you. didn't this go to show that you'd been to clingy? that you cared too much?
you heard his friends leave. you really had to get your shit together now.
you wiped your tears and walked to your armoire, folding the stray t-shirts that were spread over the inside.
in walked a straight faced neymar, who came up behind you to press a kiss to your cheek.
he grabbed a few of the shirts in the folding pile, trying to lessen the task for you- but in all honesty, what does he care? "i've got it, " you spoke without looking up at him.
he persisted, continuing to fold the shirts.
you hastily grabbed the shirts from his grasp, "i said i've got it."
he was caught off guard with the sudden attitude, he genuinely couldn't think of what he'd done to make you unhappy. "what's wrong meu amor?"
"nothing, just let me fold the clothes." you looked him in his eyes for the first time tonight and wondered how someone who looked at you so softly, like you were delicate pieces of china- could say belittling things about you knowing what you had gone through.
you wanted to blame him, you wanted to not internalize it and say it's his fault and not yours for the way that you let his words change your outlook on things, to change you.
"no tell me what's wrong." he began walking towards you, "i know somethings wrong."
you became angry, angry because you so badly wanted to breakdown into tears- curl into a ball and disappear, but his stupid, selfish, greedy words made you decide against it. "god neymar, drop it."
you prayed he would let you go to bed angry, and you'd wake up and act like nothing happened, but he couldn't think like that. "no." he furrowed his eyebrows, "what's gotten into you? is it because i didn't spend enough time with you? if it is then i'm s-"
you audibly laughed in his face, it was ironic. "no it's the opposite neymar, maybe i spend too much time with you."
he remained confused for a mere few seconds, before his mouth shut, he didn't know what to say. "y/n."
"i mean i guess i already got a head start to the clingy thing, i didn't make you dinner tonight was that better for you? did that make things easier?" you mockingly spoke. sure it was evil to shove this in his face but you were tired of being calm about this when you were so far from it.
"that's not what i meant. i didn't mean it like that." he stood on the other side of the bed from you, tears brimmed his eyes now. how could he have the capacity within himself to hurt the person who has saved him from darkness? why did he say things like that so spitefully when you were someone who had filled his lungs with air and left the kiss of the sun on his skin.
but you'd wonder what life would be like if you were an easy girl. if all those people from the past wouldn't have done those things to you, if neymar wouldn't feel sideways about you. this was rubbing away at a part of you, the giving part of you- you were running out of these kind gestures bit by bit, but what did it matter? he didnt care for them anyways right?
you didnt even realize you were crying nor did you realize he'd came up behind you and wiped your tears.
"no i'm sorry baby." he buried his head into your neck. "i'm so sorry."
your tears fell regardless. your heart rate still at an all time low. you didn't believe that he was truly sorry, he gave unsolicited backlash to your raw wounds and spoke so openly about it.
you freed yourself from his grasp, and began to pace around the room, "no." you wiped the tears with your hand that ran down your face. he refused to let you make these decisions blind with anger. he corned you, begging you to say something, to yell at him, to tell him that he's stupid. god anything. "i can't believe you embarrassed me like that."
"i know y/n. i know, i know, im sorry." he ran a hand through his hair.
"i have given you every part of me since i have loved you and for you to-" you spoke through sobs- sobs that tore the air from you, "god what were you thinking."
his heart broke with that last line, he knew what it meant. it meant something had changed for you, that something would never be the same and the scariest part was that he didn't know what it was.
"i wasnt thinking i don't know what i was saying, please forgive me baby please." he was breaking down now too.
"who's simple?" you asked, expressionless besides the tears that stained your cheeks.
"what?"
"was bruna simple?"
three words and his expression fell. now equally as hurt as you that you had to bring that up, you were both hurting so it resulted in hurting each other. his hand that was once reaching for your cheek now fell this his side as he ran a hand over his mouth. he was more speechless now than before.
you took heavy note of him taking more offense to the mention of his ex than his comments towards you. you knew you were in the wrong to bring it up, but didn't he deserve it?
"im going to stay with my sister tonight." you grabbed your car keys and left- nevermjnd the fact that you didn't have a spare change of clothes.
he stood, watching you leave- not preferring it but not objecting, just letting it happen.

ƦƠԼԼƖƝƓ ƬӇЄ ƊƖƇЄ ƛƝƊ ƑԼƖƤƤƖƝƓ ƬӇЄ ƤƛƓЄ (Part 1)
13 Years.
13 Years since the day you believed you lost your husband. 13 years since the day your friends died. 13 Years since the day your family was shadowed in darkness and 13 Years since your life crumbled to ash.
If you had told me, 13 years ago, that there was a chance that I could be in my husband's arms once more, I would've kicked you out the bloody window.
But here you wete, sitting on one of the sofa's in 12 Grimmauld Place; a glass of wine in one hand, trying to wrap your mind of what was happening.
You sat in front of the fire place, it was not lit but it was not the fire that attracted your attention. There was a mess of floo powder all over the floor, coating the edges of the fireplace in grey dirt.
You had been staring at the that for the past two or three hours, your stare turning from one of confusion to curiosity, worry, anger, doubt and hope.
It was around 5 days since Dumbledore apparated outside the wards of your house, in hopes to speak with you about an urgent topic. At first you believed something happened to Harry, that he was hurt or attacked but no if only it was about Harry.
No, Dumbledore had wished to inform you he was in contact with your long, lost husband, Sirius. When he said, the teacup that was reaching for your lips fell and shattered on the ground, spilling the hot liquid and staining the carpet.
Dumbledore only flicked his wand twice for the cup to return to its original state and the stain to vanish; continuing as though he spoke of a new recipe he saw in the British Bake Off.
He told you that Sirius was framed by Peter and that he has been hiding all over Europe in the past two years. When Dumbledore mentioned he knew where Sirius was for two years and 'suspected' he was innocent; you had the sudden urge to smash the teapot over your previous Headmaster's head.
And now you sat, staring at dirt and getting yourself drunk; hoping to avoid your husband, who should arrive any moment now. You downed the rest of your glass and leaned over to refill it just as the door opened.
"I'm fine, Molly." You sighed as you watched the red liquid pout out of the bottle.
You are definitely not fine
A voice commented in your head, it's been 13 years! People change, what if he doesn't love me anymore, or doesn't want me around, what if he doesn't want her.
"I'm not Molly." Harry said sheepishly as he fiddled with his fingers. "May I?"
"Sure. Come on in, make yourself comfortable." You invited as you pulled your blanket and draped it over his legs. "Want a sip?" You asked raising your glass once you caught Harry's eyes. "You'll be legal in a few years and merlin knows what type of things you'll be doing this year."
You definitely were not sober.
"Aunt Y/n!" Harry exclaimed as his face reddened the same shade as his house scarf. "Just be safe, cause if you become a father before the age of 24; I will snap your wand."
Harry stared down in embarrassment and cleared his throat. "I wanted to ask if you're okay."
"Of course I'm okay! Why wouldn't I be okay? I'm going to see my husbsnd for the first time in thirteen year, where he was framed for murder." You replied in a defensive tone, motioning with your hands and heavily swallowing your alcoholic drink.
"Why does everyone think I'm not fine?! I am wonderful. Fan-freakin-tastic. I am super!"
You turned to face Harry's concerned and shocked face and realised you must've sound like a crazy person.
You took a deep breath and motioned for Harry to lean in. He rested his head at your lap as you brushed your fingers over his hair.
"I'm okay, Haz."
"It's just...this may be a lot to handle. I mean I remember when I found out the truth about Peter. I just feel like you meeting Sirius again is as scary as me meeting my parents or something. I think it's alright to be nervous." Harry replied as he played with a loose thread on his jacket.
"I am not nervous."
That was also a lie but you weren't ready to spill all your drunken emotions over to a 15 year old boy.
Harry gave you a look as if to say "really?"
"Shouldn't you be somewhere with Ron talking about Quidditch and girls?" You teased as Harry scoffed.
"If I talked girls with Ron, I'll be lonely the rest of my life."
You let a laugh bubble out of you, Harry soon joining in.
"Is Elle coming over later?" Harry asked after a moment of silence, his face flushing slightly. You chuckled. "Tomorrow morning." You assured him, knowing he had a liking to your 14 year old daughter.
"Are you going to tell Sirius?"
That was the million dollar question, she had to tell him, he was her father, she was his daughter. It would be wrong of her not to tell him.
But she couldn't help wonder, if Sirius didn’t want a child. He always wished to end the Black line. And they never really spoke about having one and maybe he would be to occupied with being Harry's Godfather.
He just got out of prison it would be insane to just bombard him with two teenagers.
"I have to tell him at some point. Though, i am compelled to the idea of leaving and letting them meet each other tomorrow on their own." She suggested, half-joking.
"I'm sure Sirius would be glad to have a daughter. 12 Years in Azkaban, I think some family company could do him well."
She couldn't believe it, 12 years in Azkaban; a soul-sucking prison, reserved for the worst of the worst. The word itself made a shiver run down your spine.
The day of Sirius's imprisonment flashed right before your eyes as though it was a recent memory.
"No! He didn't do it!" You had shouted, the Aurors ignored as they trashed your house. "Mrs. Black-" An Auror began approaching you but you pushed him with your might.
"HE DIDN'T DO IT!" You shouted, you magic flaring and shattering all the windows, a spray of glass showered the ground. '"Mrs. Black if you don't compose yourself right this instant, i will have no choice but to detain you!" The head Auror yelled at you.
You eyes were streaming with tears, the rain from the outside storm began pouring into the the house. The thunder strikes defeaned your ears as you stared at the middle-aged man with nothing but fury in your eyes.
"Get out." You gritted through clenched teeth, you hands fisted at either side of you. "I beg your pardon?" He scoffed.
"Get out of my house!" You snapped, you could feel your magic crackle in the air. The vases, tables and chairs began to shake, the flamws in the fireplace raged shockingly.
The rest of the Aurors stood in their place, unsure with what to do. "You have no authority to tell me what to do!" The Head Auror shouted at you, his wand raised to level with your throat.
With the anger inside of you boiling and reaching its limit, you yelled at the top of your lungs; a surge of magic rushing out as it exploded all your vases and glassware. The couches, chairs and tables all flying out of their place and hitting against the wall.
A moment of silence rang as the Aurors battled if whether it was safe to put their sheilds down. "Let's go," The Head Auror said as he gathered his team. "We will be back."
And true to his word, he did come back but at that point you were too numbed by the amount of calming draught, they made you ingest.
You shook your head as though it would push the memory back to the end of your mind. "I hope your right."
And no later than an hour, you were sat at one end of the large dining table while Sirius sat all the way on the other end.
And though there were only eight or nine seats (per side) that separated you, it fel as though half of London was in between you.
Your eyes kept roaming over his body, though he smiled, joked, laughed and played, you could tell he was somewhat exhausted.
That moment when when his smile fell, his shoulders sagged and his head bowed down allowing his eyes to rest on you.
You saw his eye slightly widened as though he was noticing for the first time in ages - which was exactly what was happening right now - he placed his glass of drink on the table and gave you a small smile.
The side of his eyes wrinkled at the gesture and you couldn't help but feel the same dropping feeling you got almost twenty years ago when you first fell in love with him.
Harry, who was sat next to him kept blabbing about something, but for the first time tonight Sirius didn’t look as though he was engrossed into the conversation.
Sirius stared at you, head tilted as his eyes scanned every aspect of your face. He couldn't believe it was you after all this time. Your hair was all disheveled and your makeup was slightly smudged but you still looked as beautiful as they you two got married.
Y/n subtly motions her head to the side and gets up from her seat, elegantly slipping out of the room.
"Excuse me, Harry." Sirius said, clearing his throat as he stared at where Y/n left and made his way out the room.
The halls got quieter the more he walked, he didn't have to check the other rooms to guess where Y/n slipped into.
He immediately turned towards the stairs and walked up to the upstairs library. There was only one thing in the world that Y/n liked more than coffee and that was books.
Muggle, magic, dark or light. Y/n could always be found nursing one. He quietly opened the door to it letting the smell of old tomes engulf him.
Y/n sat on an armchair at the far end of the room, looking through a dark, hard-covered grimore.
"Most of those books are cursed y'know." Sirius commented as he softly let the door shut. He took a sip of his drink and walked towards her as she let out a gentle 'Ah'.
"Most dark books are, though said curses can be avoided if opened correctly..." She said as she brushed her fingers down the spine and muttered quietly, the next the book let out a soft click as the locks on the side freed it.
Though nothing she said was processed in Sirius's head, he was still hungover on the part his wife was infront of him and speaking to him.
She turned and faced him with a small smile, "Won't you sit?"
Sirius walked over and took a seat right infront of her. He noted her flushed cheeks and the trembling hands over her lap.
"I'm sorry." Sirius said truly as he stared at his shoes.
"Sorry?" Y/n began as she stared up at him with furrowed brows, "Sirius you didn't do anything wrong."
"I did, I left you. I broke our vows, my most important promises to you." He said, she tried to cut him off but he shook his head.
"This is all my fault, if i didn't tell James to make Peter the secret keeper last minute, him and Lily could still be alive, Harry wouldn't be an orphan, Remus wouldn't suffer the full moon alone, I wouldn’t have been in Azkaban..." He took a deep, shaky breath. "You wouldn't have been alone for 13 years."
He looked up at Y/n his grey eyes meeting her's. "You don't know that, for all we know James and Lily could've died a week later even if Peter didn't betray them."
"And Remus didn't spend his full moons alone, I was with him." She stood up and sat next to him, placing a comforting hand on his knee.
"And I wasn't alone for 13 years, a part of you was with me every moment of them." She said as Sirius stared at the diamond on her ring finger.
A hesitated hand, placed itself over her as his thumb stroked the ring. "After all this time?" He said as he stared at her, "Always."
He grabbed her hand and raised it to his lips, placing a gentle kiss. "Your not afraid of me." He stated more than questioned.
"Why would you think I was afraid of you?"
"You didn't want to talk to me."
"Sirius, I didn't want to talk to you because..." Y/n stopped and gulped as Sirius leaned back with furrowed brows and faced her. "I didn't think, you'd still want me anymore. 13 years is more enough for someone to fall out of love with their partner."
"You really think i could stop loving you? no matter how many years apart i could never stop loving you. I loved you then, I love you now and I will love you after 30 years when we are old and grey. I loved you since the first day we met and will love you till the day I die and till the day we meet again. 13 years are nothing comparing to my love to you."

to love and self loathe
part 1 part 2 part 3
I'm Just A Guy, With A Boomerang!
Okay, so maybe she was a tiny bit rusty as being Spider-Woman. No big deal, just a few more days or nights being in the suit and she can-
Wait- No, this was supposed to be the only and last time she was even putting on the suit. It was just a precaution! You know, if the other vigilantes weren't able to make it because of the decoy or whatever Black Mask was planning.
. . .
God what was she doing...?
Swinging from building to building, she headed into the direction of Wayne Manor. Except, she soon found out just how far the manor was from the city. By the time she made it to the manor, just on the edge of the forest where she saw the clearing of the rather large and gothic mansion, she was quite literally out of breath.
"Damn rich people..." She wheezed, slightly panting as she tried to catch her breath. Once her breathing went back to normal, she climbed over the aging stone wall and jogged over to the massive building.
Scaling up the wall, she peeked through the multiple windows, making mental notes to herself as she continued to go through each window.
"Now if I were a bunch of thugs, where would I-"
And as if on cue, a large explosion shook the mansion, smoke coming out from one of the sides of the mansion.
"There, I would be over there." She sighed out.
Quickly crawling her way over, she let herself inside the very large ballroom, trying her best to not gawk at how fancy it looked whilst crawling on the ceiling.
"Nobody move! Or the brat gets it!"
Looking down, everyone was in a state of panic while a thug with a black mask held a young boy hostage, a gun to his head.
With the smoke slightly clearing up, she had taken note that there were about 8 men, and they were all armed, wonderful.
All of them were shoving through the crowd of rich folks, seeming to look for someone in particular. While they were busy doing that, she quietly dropped down, trying to use the smoke and people, hopefully they didn't scream out when they saw her.
"Sorry, pardon me." She quietly whispered, squeezing past the many expensive suits and dresses. "I like the tie." She complimented, though everyone just gawked at her as she put a finger up to where her lips were supposed to be as she made her way over to one of the thugs.
"Hey." She called out, poking the thug's shoulder.
"Wha-" Turning around, about to aim his gun at her, she quickly webbed his mouth shut with one hand while the other had shot out a web to take hold of his gun to take it out from his hand. Shooting out another web to wrap his upper body, she jabbed the butt of the assault rifle into his stomach, causing him to let out a muffle 'oomph!'.
Stumbling back from the impact, she gave him a simple push into the wall before using her webs to keep the man stuck to the wall.
Dusting off her hands, she soon took notice of the many rich folks who only looked at her in bafflement. A bit embarrassed at the attention, the Spider cleared her throat, pointing behind her shoulder.
"I should.. I should probably go." Raising her hand up, she had her web shooter pull herself back up onto the ceiling, crawling on her hands and feet to get to whichever criminal she saw next.
For the next 20 minutes, she was able to take down two more guys before the hostage situation had gotten worse.
Finishing up with keeping one of Black Mask's stuck to the ceiling, the sound of laughter from Mask's men had garnered her attention.
"Now we're getting somewhere." The man holding Damian grinned cynically. Just opposite of him was another one of the criminals, now having Bruce Wayne as a hostage, another gun pressed to his head.
"Alright Mr. Philanthropist, you're gonna listen closely and do as we say: Within 24 hours you're gonna give us 20 billion in exchange for the brat." Damian's hostage tightened his grip around his neck, pressing the gun even closer to the pre-teen's skull.
"I will kill you all." Damian hissed out, but he was only met with getting hit with the gun, making him grunt in pain.
"Shut the hell up." His captor growled out.
"You can have the 20 billion, just leave my son out of this." Bruce said, doing his best in trying to stay calm.
The man only cackled, the sound of his gun cocking, his finger now hovering over the trigger. "We're gonna need the 20 billion first Mr. Wayne."
"Ahem."
All heads quickly swiveled to the sound, only to see Spider-Woman standing there, almost a bit awkwardly.
"Didn't know we were supposed to bring guns to a party as fancy as this." She commented.
It went silent for a moment.
Okay.. Great start.
"Who the fuck are you?" The young Wayne's captor hissed out.
"Oh you know," She let out a small nervous huff. "Just a passerby, thought I would take a look around Gotham and all." She waved a hand nonchalantly. "And you know, it's really nice in Gotham, well, of course, minus all the crime and guys trying to mug an innocent bystander every ten minutes."
She continued to ramble, her arms moving about.
People only looked at her like she was crazy, and honestly? She couldn't blame them.
She herself had no idea what in the hell she was doing, she just hoped she could find herself an opening before the situation escalated any more than it already has.
At some point, the captors were getting irritated, now finding her ramblings tiring.
"Would someone get rid of this bitch already!?" One of them yelled out.
In that moment, her senses tingled, but everything had almost gone in slow motion as the sound of a gunshot rang out, making people scream while some sort of black baton was simultaneously thrown at one of the captors.
Bruce Wayne's captor let out a pained yell as he had been hit with the baton, to the Spider's left though, another yell of pain was heard, as it was one of thugs who was about to shoot the woman.
"What the-!?" Damian Wayne's captor's attention quickly turned to where the baton and gunshot had came from.
Taking this moment of distraction, the female vigilante quickly shot out a web and yanked the gun out from the captor's hand.
"Hey!" Turning his head to look at her, she shot another web, making it cover his entire face. Alarmed, his hands quickly let go of the boy and tried to pull the webbing off. Damian, in response, turned to his captor and gave him a swift kick, knocking him back onto his butt.
There was no time to relax though, for from the corner of the Spider's eye, she saw another one of Black Mask's minions point their gun straight at Damian.
"Hey kid watch out!" She yelled. Quickly running towards him, she closed the distance by grabbing him with her web before shooting another web and pulling themselves up to the ceiling.
An echo of screams rang in the ballroom, everyone now running and panicking, all of the rich folk quickly trying to leave the now dangerous room.
"You alright?" She looked at the boy who had a scowl, arms crossed.
"I'm fine." He retorted.
Rude.
"Okay Mr. Grumpy-Pants." She muttered.
Hearing more gunshots, she looked over and saw two of Gotham's vigilantes fighting off the rest of Mask's men.
"Hey so, I'm gonna leave you up here real quick-"
"You will not-"
It was too late though, the young Wayne found himself webbed into a cocoon, now stuck to the ceiling of his home while the Spider made her way down to help the two men.
"Release me at once!" He yelled at her, fuming.
Both Red Hood and Nightwing were preoccupied and cornered by Black Mask's minions. Both fighting the men and dodging the bullets they shot at the vigilantes.
Too preoccupied, Nightwing had realized too late as one of the men were about a second away from getting shot. But an all too familiar sticky string had pulled the gun out from the minion's hands only to be promptly knocked out with a harsh kick from behind.
"You boys need help?" She questioned, tossing the gun to the side.
"We have it just fine."
"That'd be appreciated."
Red Hood and Nightwing glanced at each other, but Red Hood seemed to be the one to look away first. With a smile, Nightwing threw his escrima stick, shocking a criminal as they went down while he looked back at the Spider.
The two nodded nodded at each other at the result of Red Hood's lack of resistance and made quick work of joining the two men.
"I don't think I've ever seen you around in Gotham before." Nightwing turned a bit, dodging a fist that flew his way.
"Ah well, I just thought I'd do a bit of sightseeing." Spider-Woman replied, webbing one of the men's foot to the ground, causing him to fall face first onto the ground.
"And Gotham was your first choice?" The first Robin looked over at her, both brows raised, while simultaneously kneeing a man in his face.
She let out a small laugh, weaving her way behind a guy before shoving him to fall to his knees.
"I let the wheel of fate choose for me." She shrugged.
Nightwing quickly picked up his escrima and tossed it to her, her web shooting out to have it come to her faster.
Once in hand, she tossed the escrima in the air a bit before catching it once more and hitting the man, who was trying to get up, in the back of the head, causing him to fall once more, though this time staying down for good.
"You two, less talking and more beating Sionis' men up." Red Hood grunted in irritation, taking hold of the man throwing a punch at him and bent it the other way, causing the man to let out a blood curdling scream.
Both Spider-Woman and Nightwing backed up into each other, their backs pressed to each other.
"Is he always that snappy?" She questioned, causing him to laugh.
"He's nice, I promise."
She only let out an unconvinced hum in response.
Clasping his fingers together, Spider-Woman stepped into his hands as he threw her into the air. Finding her target, she shot two strings of webs to the ground before pulling herself feet first, giving the last guy a good kick, and a long-term concussion, to the head.
A satisfied hum left her lips, hands on her hips.
Nightwing whistled a bit, walking over to her. "You're pretty good." He mused.
She couldn't help but feel giddy at the compliment, remembering the adrenaline rush that comes with being a vigilante.
"Why thank you." She said in a bit of a posh accent, one arm slinging behind her back while the other wrapped around her stomach, and bowed.
Nightwing chuckled at her antics as she straightened herself up.
"I thought I'd be a bit rusty, but it seems I still got it." She hummed brushing her shoulder. Soon, she felt something sturdy and warm brush against the back of her head, slowly tilting her head backwards, the looked as Red Hood was tilting his head down to look at her.
"What are you doing here in Gotham?" His robotic voice questioned. "And don't give me that 'sightseeing' bullshit."
Turning herself around to face the slightly scary man, she looked up at him clearing her throat and held a finger up.
"Uh well, for starters," She started. She only looked as he continued to stare at her, waiting for a response.
God was he scary when you weren't a citizen.
She seemed to be having a hard time trying to come up with something, a sense of deja vu coming upon her.
"I have.. Family..?" Her response was more of a question than an answer, and that only made Red Hood even more unconvinced.
"Really." He crossed his arms.
"Ye.. s...?" She slowly drew out the word a bit more, slightly cringing at how unsure she sounded herself.
"If you are done chatting then it would be smart of you to let me down before I come down myself!" A voice, slightly far away, yelled out.
All three vigilantes looked up towards the voice and saw Damian still stuck to the ceiling.
Nightwing snorted a bit at this, the Spider quickly clearing her throat.
"I uh, better go get him." Letting out a nervous chuckle, she glanced at the two vigilantes before webbing her way up to the ceiling, ripping away at the webs to get the boy out from his cocooned confines.
"I don't trust her." Jason squinted his eyes at her, watching her every move.
Dick rolled his eyes at this. "You don't trust anyone Jay- Ow!"
His head went forwards, a light slapping noise echoing in the walls.
"Vigilante names, we don't know if she can hear us or not." Jason stated.
Dick only let out an annoyed huff, rubbing the back of his head, there was a bit of a smile on Jason's lips, his mood slightly lifting after giving his older brother a good smack.
The Spider soon let their youngest brother down back to the ground. They only watched in amusement as the two seemed to have an exchange of words before Bruce made his way over.
"You're alright?" He questioned his son, crouching down a bit to take a look at him.
"Fine." Damian huffed, looking away, arms crossed. "I told you this party was useless." He slightly glared at his father who only chuckled, giving a small ruffle to his hair.
"I'll make it up to you, promise." He smiled. Standing up, the billionaire looked at the female vigilante. "Thank you, for saving my son."
"Oh, I mean.." The Spider became a bit bashful, a sheepish laugh leaving her mouth. Rubbing the back of her head, she slightly looked away, waving her hand a bit. "It wasn't just me who helped too."
She looked over at the other two vigilantes, the two seeming to be talking—more like bickering, no one needs to know that but them though—until Nightwing lightly elbowed Red Hood who begrudgingly followed behind the masked vigilante who made his way to them.
"Mr. Wayne." Nightwing said with a smile.
"Ah, Nightwing." The billionaire smiled, looking over at the man that stood behind the more chipper vigilante. "Red Hood."
Red Hood only gave the man a curt nod, muttering the billionaire's name as a greeting. He shifted his weight, having crossed his arms before promptly looking away afterwards.
It became a bit awkward after that, Spider-Woman only watching with slight discomfort at the odd greeting she had just witnessed.
Clearing her throat, all three men looked over at her. "Well I uh, I better get going." She pointed behind her.
"To New York?" Bruce questioned, raising a brow.
"What?" She questioned back, looking at the man before blinking a bit too much. "You.." She pointed at herself. "You know of me?" She asked, dumbfounded.
He chuckled at this. "Of course, you were all over the internet with your disappearance." He mused.
"Oh.." She mumbled, remembering seeing the many articles as well. Everyone questioning as to where she had gone, and if she was coming back.
The flash of a smile and a melodic voice calling out her name came to her, making her grimace.
"Everything alright?"
She snapped her head up to look at the billionaire who had a bit of concern on his face, the two vigilantes looking at her with questioning look.
"Uh, yeah, sorry." She hummed nervously. "All that fighting really tired me out." She winded up her arm, rocking back and forth on her feet a bit. "Anyways uh, thank you, for having me. Sorry about the mess."
Her hands moved around all over the place, taking small steps back towards the large hole in the wall. "I'll be, I'll be going now, haha.."
Turning around, a web shot out from her wrist and she had left with the wind.
"Some party that was." Dick mused.
"Father did you see how she stuck me to the ceiling like some insect?" Damian quipped.
"Maybe because you are one." Jason mused.
Immediately, Damian's head turned to look at his brother to give him a glare. Bruce only sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose.
"Enough." Looking over at his two oldest, he gave them a questionable look. "Does anyone want to tell me what Spider-Woman is doing in Gotham?" He questions.
Dick shrugged at this. "Beats me."
Jason stayed quiet, a bit of a grimace falling on his face.
"Jason."
The second Robin only rolled his eyes, looking at his adoptive father.
"She seemed to have come to Gotham a week ago. Only trail she left was her webs." He informed, arms still crossed.
"And I wasn't informed about this because..?"
Jason shrugged. "Didn't seem important."
The father and son duo stared at each other for a good while, tension slightly building up.
Fuck, this wasn't how Jason wanted this to go.
He opened his mouth to speak, but Bruce beat him to it.
"Well as long as she doesn't pose a threat." He sighed out. "You two should probably get changed, I'm sure Gordan and the others will be here soon."
And right as Bruce said that, the distant sound of sirens could be heard, the colors red and blue flashing in a distance through the darkness and trees.
With a nod, both Jason and Dick went to leave—Damian following along to head to his room—Dick going on ahead, all the while Jason having stopped in his tracks after hearing his name be called out.
Turning his head, he looked over his shoulder, seeing Bruce stare at him for a moment, his lips pressed into a line.
"Will you..." He hesitated for a moment. "Will you be staying for the night?"
Jason stopped breathing for a moment.
Did he want him to stay? Or was he just asking out of formalities? Of course Bruce wanted him to stay, he was his son for crying out loud.
Jason's mouth suddenly felt dry, having to lick his slightly chapped lips. His eyes darted around the room, suddenly feeling like that walls of the ballroom were closing in on him even though there was a giant hole in one of the walls.
"No, I'll be going back to my place." He flexing his hand a bit to try and calm his nerves, feeling his clothes suddenly feeling a bit too small on him all of sudden.
"I see. Take care then. I'll see you tomorrow." Bruce said softly.
"Yeah." Was all Jason was able to muster before walking off, leaving the man by himself in the large ballroom.
His footsteps quickened once he left the room, a somewhat nauseous feeling overcoming him. Quickly moving the arms of the grandfather clock once more, he wasted no time going down the stairs.
Fast walking to his motorcycle, he kicked the stand up and stuck the key into the ignition.
"Leaving so soon?"
Jason paused, hand just barely about to turn the key to start his bike. It was quiet between him and Dick, the two not saying a word.
"Bye." Jason said, his bike roaring to life at the same time, almost drowning out his goodbye as he sped off.
Dick only sighed, watching his younger brother leave the Batcave, the smell of exhaust and gasoline filling the air.
At least he's trying.

Hii ! I’ve been absolutely loving your fics and I’m so glad there’s another writer writing Harvey x Reader !!
I was wondering if you could write a fic that involved the reader being a lawyer in another firm dealing with a tough case that’s been on their mind 24/7, then during the night one day, Harvey wakes up in the middle of the night and the reader isn’t in bed but is in the kitchen or something because they can’t sleep. Maybe Harvey consoles the reader and tries to convince them to go back to bed or pulls a “if you’re staying up, i am too.” even though he’s sleepy.
Just a overall idea/prompt :) do what you’d like! have fun with it, cause i love your writing 🙌🏼
A/N: I went so so soft writing this and Harvey did too aoifjaeofijaofeij
Tumblr media
"Good morning," you greeted, picking up the call from Harvey.
"Will you come over tonight?" Harvey asked. Your heart broke a bit, knowing you'd told him no the past three nights. Work had been stressing you out and you hadn't really even been sleeping except for a couple hours each night. Last night you hadn't even gone home from the office. Maybe you did need a break, and you certainly wanted to see the handsome man you'd been dating for the past month.
"Yes."
"Good."
You couldn't help but smile and give a little laugh. "I'll see you tonight, Harvey."
"Have a good day, Y/N."
-------
You sighed, staring up at Harvey's bedroom ceiling, unable to sleep. You had had a wonderful evening with the man lying asleep next to you, but your thoughts were still swirling.
You weren't quite sure how you were going to win this one. A certain confidentiality agreement your client had stupidly decided to sign was proving to be the biggest annoyance and a roadblock to your obvious win.
Sighing once more, you carefully slid out from under the covers and padded barefoot to the kitchen where your work bag sat. Pulling your laptop out, you tucked your feet up under you on the couch and went to work.
"Sweetheart?"
A smile fell on your lips hearing Harvey's voice, full of sleep, slightly husky. You looked up at him, setting your laptop to the side.
"I'm sorry, I just couldn't sleep."
"How are you going to win a case if you've run yourself ragged?"
"Okay, you have a point," you sighed, eyeing your laptop before shutting it.
"That's what I like to see."
You almost stood and let him lead you back to bed, but your anxiety hit.
"I can't," you murmured, an apologetic expression forming.
"What- you just told me," he tried to fight.
"I'm sorry, I have to work."
"So I can't get you back to bed?" he huffed. You stood, making your way over to him, goosebumps erupting at the feeling of his hand lightly running up and down your arm.
"You can get me back to bed once I finish this case," you whispered before wrapping your arms around him and giving him a light kiss. He took a deep breath in and out before giving you a pointed look.
"Then I'm staying up with you."
"No, you most certainly are not," you retorted, removing yourself from his embrace and crossing your arms.
"Can't stop me," he said, moving to the kitchen to grab a glass of water, yawning.
"You're ti-" you stopped, knowing he would just same the same back to you.
"That's what I thought," he smirked, plopping down on the couch. You sat down next to him, pulling your laptop onto your lap.
"Will it bother you if I put on TV?"
You shook your head, appreciating the ask and the way his hand briefly squeezed your knee.
For the next hour, the two of you continued to fight sleep, you having to shake your head a few times in an attempt to refocus your eyes, and Harvey's eyes drooping several times, head falling slightly before picking himself back up. You were beginning to feel beyond guilty about causing him to lose sleep, but a weight against your shoulder had you smiling.
You looked down to see Harvey fast asleep, eyes closed, soft snores starting to come from him. Though it might have made you more tired, you felt more awake, trying not to wake him.
And when he shook you awake an hour later, dragging you both back to bed, you knew he was the perfect man for you.

Low Energy Witchcraft - Chronic Fatigue Edition
Tumblr media
Making a post such as this is something I find absolutely vital. Many of us deal with fatigue. Many of us deal with chronic fatigue and don't know it. This comes in tiredness, drowsiness, exhaustion, lethargy, brain fog, memory issues, slurring of words and muscle weakness.
I deal with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis aka Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS). My Fibromyalgia accompanies that which is a chronic pain condition.
Sometimes you feel stuck in your own body. Bedridden for hours, days, weeks and sometimes life in extreme cases of ME/CFS. Weather can affect this, environment and pushing yourself past your limits. Rest is important.
Now how does this tie into witchcraft? Simple. We use our energy for spellwork, raising energy, energy work, devotion, basically everything. So much of our practice requires personal energy being manipulated and used, leaving us exhausted after in a lot of cases.
I'm going to share some helpful tips with you today.
Now remember, witchcraft is an aid. Nota cure or a replacement for medical aid. Please still take any and all medication and go to the doctors when needed.
Now let's get into it
Sustaining and drawing energy:
Borrowing energy from elements, crystals, tendrils (I'll go into this), space. It's limitless.
Tendrils. Tendrils are a form of vampiric magic I learned. Where you can borrow energy from another person. I will not go into the ethics of consent. I believe you need to do what's right for you at the moment. However, consent is something vital and needs to be practiced. How do you do it? Visualize or focus on feeling these energy tendrils coming out of your fingers. They can suck up the energy from the space or from another person with contact and focus. If not immediately needed, you can store this excess energy in a crystal or an amulet for later use. Always try to ground after so you don't feel overcharged. Being overcharged can cause shakiness, anxiety and sometimes manic-like states.
Sigils
Sigils are a great form of aid. You can make them for lifting brain fog, fatigue, memory, etc. I will link some when I make a few.
Spells
You can do mini spell workings on higher energy days to aid in many ways. I will link some when I make a few.
Deities Worship
If you work with certain deities they may aid you in health. Honouring and working with Apollon (Greek), Apollo (Roman), Sekhmet (Egyptian), Eir (Norse), Airmed (Irish) and many more are associated with healing. A simple prayer can do.
What can I practice when I have little/no energy?
You can practice mindfulness or elemental box breathing. How I do that is breathe in Earth, Fire, Water, Air. Hold Earth, Fire, Water, Air. Breathe out Earth, Fire, Water, Air. and Hold Earth, Fire, Water, Air. Repeat as needed. You will feel more connected to the elements that way.
Take any medication you have with intention. Drawing the sun symbol on your bottles, the planet sun is great for healing.
Prayer to any deities, guardians or ancestors you are currently working with.
Grounding your energy may help you feel better with brain fog. It tends to help me on heavy days.
Doing something as simple as opening a window on a windy day to connect to the air element. Helps cycle air in a stuffy environment as well.
Opening your curtains and basking in the sun's rays can feel very soothing. Alternatively, if you have a sun lamp for SAD, you can bask in its glow and envision the sun's rays on your skin to connect with solar energy.
I will add to this post as time goes on.

I had a dumb idea that I wanted to ask, how would Ken and Barbie react to a new Ken who's supposed to be a superhero (K man or something) thing is there's no criminals or supervillains in barbie land to fight so for most of the time their either crouching over buildings overdramatically monologuing their thoughts/past or hiding in their not so secret base
The "overdramatic monologue" is giving ATSV!Ben Riley hsahggs
.........
Ken
You're a new Ken doll who was meant to be a superhero (and you were an instant hit with the kids back in the Real World).
But Beach!Ken thought you were just another rival trying to compete for Stereo!Barbie's attention, especially when you have such a cool costume and look badass 24/7.
So he's got his eye on you.
Yet you don't really have a Barbie and you're certainly not trying to get anybody else's Barbie.
You're just Ken-Man (or Super Ken, K-Man, or whatever Mattel decided to call your alias), the lone savior, protector, and guardian of Barbieland.
Except..there's not really much for you to save, protect, or guard in the first place.
Barbieland's more or less a utopia. There's no supervillains or an archnemesis for you to fight, nor is there any crime.
So when Ken's standing alone on the beach one night, he spots you crouching on the ledge of one of the buildings, and he can see you looking around.
He goes closer for curiosity's sake (and to distract himself bc he's bummed out he couldn't stay at Barbie's dreamhouse), and hears you monologuing.
"Just another windy night in Barbieland..it's cool, refreshing, and calming. It's like my conscience in a way. It's at peace knowing that I've kept this city safe once again. I hope every Barbie, Ken, and everydoll in-between sleeps soundly-"
"What are you doing up there, Ken?"
When you see Beach!Ken staring up at you, you jump down and land (to which he jumps back, surprised you didn't break a leg), thrilled that some doll finally approached you.
"Ah! You caught me monologuing."
"Mono...what?" He blinks, dumbfounded.
"Just spilling my thoughts, dear citizen. Nothing to worry about." You smile brightly behind your mask, although you see that he looks annoyed. "What troubles you on this quiet night, Ken?"
"Oh nothing. I'm just mad that Ken kept trying to show off and dance with Barbie at her party tonight. He did backflips in front of her! It's not fair, why can't I do that??"
"Ohhh you mean this?" You perform a single backflip, but he glares at you, ready to snap.
"I wanna know how to do that. Teach me."
"Wait...didn't you injure yourself when you tried to go surfing earlier today?"
"...you saw that?"
"Of course. I see everything from my not-so-secret base."
"....AND you have a house?!!!" He screams, causing you to take a step back.
But you quickly realize he's just insecure and thinks he pales in comparison to the other Kens when trying to impress his Barbie.
And you having a cooler job than "Beach" certainly doesn't help matters...
You're a compassionate hero, though, looking to see past his initial hostility and offer to train him on doing backflips, front flips, etc.
He gets cocky and it...doesn't go so well as he slips on a rock and faceplants onto the pavement (luckily he doesn't break anything this time).
Instead you take him to your not-so-secret base to train in a safe environment, and he gets better with practice.
He's very jealous of all the cool tech you have (including a security robot who's similar to Closet from Life in the Dreamhouse, except not hostile at all) and you gotta refrain him from touching anything.
Once he realizes you're not trying to impress his Barbie, he becomes buddies with you--though you treat him more like a sidekick.
Barbie
"Hello, Barbie!"
"Oh hi, Ken!"
She's seen you around Barbieland a lot, especially in the late hours of the night.
You're one of the coolest Kens she's seen, although she's surprised there wasn't some superheroine Barbie already around (or maybe there was...she doesn't know for sure, but it doesn't matter).
While she doesn't fully understand your monologues regarding your past (whether it's about being responsible with your "powers" or whatever origin story Mattel decided to cook up for your character), she finds your words admirable, your deeds heroic, and your personality charming.
When she's on the beach or taking an evening drive, she'll often look for you on the rooftops and wave.
You always wave back, of course.
But immediately lose your train of thought if you were monologuing at the time.
That's okay though, bc you had an oath to keep Barbieland crime-free (and not waving back to a Barbie was something only a criminal scumbag would do).
Even though this place lacks criminal activity and supervillains, you do often help citizens with mundane troubles.
Some call upon your aid and you're there instantly.
Plus, you have a "super sense" that alerts you to imminent danger, allowing you to arrive just in time.
For instance, when Barbie falls from her dreamhouse instead of floating down, you suddenly swooped in to save her before she could hit the ground.
"Are you okay, Barbie??" You worry, having never seen her fall before.
It's not the first time you've ever seen a doll fall, however.
"I-I....yeah, Ken! I'm fine! I'm great!!" She's embarrassed that you saw her at such an "imperfect" moment, stumbling out of your arms. "Thanks for saving me."
"Of course, it's my job to protect all of you." You smile.
Although after she leaves in her car, you frown a bit, worried that she's in more trouble than she's willing to admit..
Maybe you oughta report to Weird Barbie.

Quiet Crushes
Summary: Joel Miller x Fe!Reader ~ You have always been nervous around Joel Miller. Ever since he came to town it's like you're a teenager again with a crush on the hottest guy in school. But, when someone unexpected turns up, it seems that even Joel has found the courage to talk to you.
Disclaimer: I haven't written in a while so there may be some spelling mistakes (I'm gonna blame the lack of sleep). Fluff, angst, idiots in love, speechless around crushes, kissing.
Tumblr media
You didn’t know how long it had been since you’d last slept. 12 hours? 24? None of it mattered. All you could focus on was your brother, lay on the bed in your spare room, breathing up and down, freshly cleaned and slowly healing physically.
Joel was downstairs in the kitchen cooking something.
You’d heard the pans clatter every couple of minutes until you heard the mugs and the plates. But you couldn’t concentrate on that. Your gaze and mind remained focused on your brother’s chest, watching it rise and fall; fearful that if you looked away, even if just for a second, he would stop and he’d be gone from you and this world permanently.
You’d not seen him in almost four years and in that time you’d somehow convinced yourself he’d died. That a clicker or worse had got to him and killed him. He’d been dead to you for just over three years. But despite this, part of you still held hope.
That was the only part of you that was happy.
It was proved right. Your brother was alive…to an extent.
Lord knows what he saw and what he went through to find you. You didn’t even want to imagine. Your mind had been so focused on getting him cleaned up, you couldn’t bring yourself to step over the line and ask the questions about his scars.
He’d tell you in his own time, you hoped.
The moment you saw him walk through the doors of Jackson…you felt your heart both drop and soar at the same time. He was like a drowned-rat in the rain. Both of you were by the time you left Joel’s side from the covered porch of the Tipsy Bison to run out to the muddied path in the rain and embrace your brother.
The mud on your jeans proved to you that you’d been there to hold him in the mud when you both collapsed from the sheer impact of the hug.
You vaguely remembered Joel telling you to get a shower…but you couldn’t remember how long ago that was. The moment they carried your brother into his room, you hadn’t so much as left his side, let alone the room.
You patched up his wounds whilst he slept and woke him part way through so he’d finally eat something and get his strength up.
It was only as you sat alone in the silence of your sleeping brother that you let your mind go back to the moments just before he’d come through the gates.
You’d been talking to Joel or, at least, trying.
Ever since Joel arrived in Jackson, your crush on him had been a burden to bear.
You never liked having crushes; they either lead to embarrassment or pain. Neither sounded appealing.
And, so, for the first eight months, any conversation you had with him never extended past three words a day, if that. You’d remain quiet and get your work done.
It was only after these eight months that Tommy came to you, asking you to actually try and talk to Joel. You were only one of the few that didn’t. Whilst the others seemed to have something against Joel, Tommy seemed to be blind to the fact that you actually had something for Joel.
But Maria wasn’t.
She saw it instantly.
The way the blood rushed to your face. The way your breathing became unsteady and you couldn’t seem to form a single sentence in his presence.
You liked Joel…a lot.
As did many other women in Jackson.
And men.
But still, no matter how hard you tried, you were just a bumbling mess around Joel.
After Tommy’s talk, you’d been fixing a lightbulb in the Tipsy Byson when the bulb shone too bright, shocking you and causing the ladder to rattle beneath you.
However, it stopped falling when Joel caught it, and you.
His hands were on your waist.
“Are you okay?”
“Yes.” you eventually managed to answer as you climbed down.
You could only be thankful that your back was to Joel but the instant you turned around, you were met with his gaze and any human function you had in your body seemed to instantly disappear. After a couple of attempts, you managed to make your “Thank you,” loud enough for the human ear to hear before running off.
It seemed to only get worse after that.
And already being aware that you were a blushing mess when you even thought about him only added to that. Feeling the heat of your cheeks, and being all too aware of it when faced with Joel Miller only increased your embarrassment.
There were some moments where you thought he was flirting with you but your conscience quickly brushed that aside. After all, why would Joel Miller be interested in you when most of Jackson was after him?
And that evening, everything felt like it was coming to a head. You were so sure Joel knew about your feelings towards him, despite the fact you wanted to forget about them. Why else would he ask you to go outside with him? You figured he’d let you down gently at least. Tell you he wasn’t interested but he’d be sure you were a lovely woman.
Instead, he’d stepped closer to you.
If it had been anyone else, maybe you would have backed away. But not with Joel.
He wasn’t threatening to you in his gaze or his touch but rather gentle, soft and kind. Despite all what you had heard about him, you’d never seen him be anything but kind and caring to those around him. A vastly different version that Tommy had been expecting, that’s for sure.
You couldn’t even remember what Joel had said to you.
One minute your mind was growing dizzy with the simple thought of him. The next, you’d flicked your eyes away for a moment only to see a lad run at full speed past the bar and towards the gates.
Both you and Joel’s gaze followed the lad and when you saw your brother…Joel saw the change in you.
Most times, you were flustered. Running here, there and everywhere. Hell, you rarely seemed to have time to have a conversation with him before you were dashing off to somewhere else.
Since he started working with Tommy again, he wanted to know more about you.
You seemed to keep to yourself, mostly. Tommy said you were trustworthy and the one to go to whenever or if ever he had a problem whether that be with a light fixture, plumbing, cooking or even just with life.
That day you’d nearly fallen from the ladder, he’d hoped to have a drink with you - talk to you. Get to know you.
He’d tried for weeks after that, but again, always flustered. Part of him figured that perhaps, maybe, you felt the same way about him as he did about you.
So, that night at the Tipsy Byson, he was hoping to ask you.
But then you looked away and suddenly everything about you became…cool.
You were no longer a “flustered mess” as he’d heard someone call you in the bar one night. You no longer had that light dusting blush across your cheeks that seemed to brighten every time he got closer which made his stomach summersault.
No, instead, you became more reserved.
You stood straight and had your arms folded. Your eyes narrowed to look at the face of the weakened man in the middle of the two brother’s helping carry him inside the walls of Jackson.
Joel had called your name and asked you a question but he knew none of it had registered. But you had managed to answer his next question without him having to ask it.
“That’s my brother.”
Without a second thought or care to the rain, you left the shelter of the porch and walked out and once you were close enough, you called your brother’s name and Joel watched you run to your brother, and him run to you.
He watched the pair of you reunite before dropping to the mud beneath you both. You pulled back for a second to look your brother over before pulling him close again and holding the back of his head.
Joel had told you to go for a shower when your brother got settled but since he didn’t hear the shower turn on, he decided to cook. You hadn’t eaten since before you got to the bar and, despite your brother needing nourishment, you’d be in need of it, too.
“Hey,”
You turned to look at Joel who was standing in the doorway.
“Hey.”
“Here. I made you some stew.”
“Oh, thank you.”
“There’s more in the pot in the kitchen but, I’ve got to go and get Ellie. I’ll be back later, though.”
“Thank you, Joel. But, honestly, you don’t have to.”
“If I don’t, I have a feeling you’ll sit here all day and watch him and forget to look after yourself.”
“Joel-”
“I’ll be back. I promise.”
As Joel gave you a warm smile and left you with a bowl of fresh stew, you heard your brother’s voice.
“Well, he’s nice. When’s the wedding?”
You put down the stew and rushed to his side. “You’re awake.”
“And you’re in love.”
“Randy.”
“Y/n.”
“He’s just a friend.”
“Well, I don’t know what you’ve been doing for the last four years, but that is definitely not the look of friendship and don’t give me any of that bullshit about how he doesn’t like you. He’s in love with you.”
“Now who’s the one with the bullshit.”
“Hey, don’t forget, I have the luxury of the male perspective. He’s in love with you, kid.”
“Did you get a concussion on your way here?”
“Maybe a few. But I’m still right. And so is he. You need to eat. And stop watching me sleep. It’s both weird and creepy. It’s like when you were six and would sleep walk into my room and watch me sleep.”
“I did not do that.”
“You totally did. Do you not remember mom had to start locking my door at night so you couldn’t get in?”
“Oh, yeah.” you smiled at the weird memory.
“Go on, eat. And then go and get me a bowl. It smells good.”
“Taste’s good, too.” you said, trying not to burn your mouth on a hot piece of carrot.
God, if that man didn’t make you fall from his looks and charm alone, his cooking tipped you over the edge.
Hours passed and eventually Joel came back only to find you sat outside in the back garden. The window to your brother’s bedroom was open so you’d be able to hear him call if he needed you though you doubted it since he was a heavy sleeper and he would sleep all day and night if he could.
“Hey, what are you doing out here?”
“Wanted to watch the rain fall.”
“Mind if I join you?”
You shook your head and smiled, “Not at all.”
Joel sat just close enough to you for you to feel his body heat as he covered his lap with a spare blanket you had on the bench.
“How are you feeling?”
“Like I could sleep for a year.”
Joel mirrored your smile as you laughed and set your book down. “I just…for the longest time I thought he was gone. I’d made myself believe it and then suddenly he’s back and he’s alive and he’s…he’s here.”
“You look really happy.”
“I am really happy. How’s Ellie?”
“She’s good. She’s having a sleepover tonight with a couple friends she met at school. I’m just hoping she won’t be a bad influence on them.”
“I’m sure she won’t.” you assured him. “Besides, it might not hurt for those kids to learn a couple swear words here and there.”
“God, you sound just like her.”
“Oh, come on, Joel. You can’t tell me you weren’t swearing like a sailor when you were her age.”
“Growing up is a tough gig.”
“Amen to that. Why not be able to swear your way through the rough periods?”
Joel simply smiled at you and you smiled back before turning to watch the rain pour its way down and land on the country garden you’d managed to plant for yourself.
What you didn’t notice, at first at least, was Joel’s gaze fixing itself on your side profile. He looked at you with such wonder and kindness and love, Randy - who watched from his bedroom window - wanted to throw a rock at you just so you might, in fact, look in Joel’s direction and see that your brother was right in saying that Joel was completely head-over-heels in love with you.
And probably had been for the longest time.
Though, rather than interfere and have you poison his stew with some random plant you’d been growing in your garden, probably plotting his death, he quietly closed his window and left you and Joel to it.
But not before wishing upon the highest star he could see.
“Please. Please, please, please, for the love of God, let these two idiots be together. I don’t know how much more of the lovey-dovey eyes I can take. And I’ve only been here for 24 hours. Thank you. Amen…and all that.”
You both sat for a while, in a quiet solitude.
It was quaint.
It was also the first time you’d held an audience with the man and not freaked out, tripped over your words or even blushed so hard you thought your blood vessels might, in fact, break or burst at any moment.
“You know, when we were kids, we’d spend hours outside. He’d always be playing football and I’d be with my dad in the garden.”
“Was he the one that taught you about plants?”
You nodded with a soft smile graced on your lips. “Yeah. He was a Horticultural and Agricultural Professor. He knew everything that could ever be known about plants and what they helped with, also what they hindered with.”
“And your mom?”
“She worked in Business Management.” you said. “Randy took after her more. Was closer to her, too. I mean, we were all close. And I was close to my mom, but…you know that connection a child has with their parents. One is stronger than the other? When they’re ill or they get hurt, it’s the parent they go to?”
Joel nodded.
“For him, that was my mom. For me, it was my dad. Randy spent more time at her office - mostly because he had a crush on her co-worker Annie. Meanwhile, I’d go to Dad’s lectures and tell Mom all about them and she and Randy would sit and listen for hours. I loved it.”
“So, is that what you did? Before the world went to shit and all?”
“The world has always been shit, but, yes. Though, I studied Biology instead. It gave me more places to find a job. And, for about two years I taught High School Science. I loved it but I always needed something else to keep me busy so I’d go to the library and pick out books and I taught myself to be my own mechanic. It was cheaper and easier than dealing with those who would ask if my husband would be coming with me to drop off my car and when my ‘husband’ didn’t turn up, would hit on me to the point where I once threatened to break their nose.”
“And did you? Break it, I mean?”
“Joel Miller. I only threatened to break his nose. I broke his wrist, instead.”
Joel smiled for a moment. “Did he not press charges?”
“Nope. Luckily his sister had just come round the corner and she was some fancy lawyer in New York. She threatened to break his other and then we went out to lunch. Turned out he had a history of broken bones.”
Joel laughed and you found yourself laughing, too.
It felt freeing.
“What about you? Tommy told me you had your own business.”
“Yeah, I, uh, I was a contractor in Texas.”
From there, you and Joel spent over two hours talking about the past and your lives before the Outbreak. Everything; from your childhood to his, you work and eventually, children.
Joel hadn’t meant to bring Sarah up. Hell, he didn’t even talk about her with Tommy, or Tess for that matter. Sure, there was some mention of her here and there, but he’d never told anyone of her as a baby or of the silly things she used to do as a kid that would make him laugh and smile.
“She sounds wonderful.” you smiled.
Joel’s smile, although still with him, faded a little as he looked to his hands, rubbing his fingers against each other.
“Yeah, she was.”
“It sounds like she would have liked Ellie, too.”
Part of Joel returned at the mention of Ellie from you. “Oh, completely. They’re not similar - I mean, Sarah was more…girly? But they’re also not unsimilar. She would have loved her.”
Neither you or Joel fully knew which daughter he meant when he said that; She would have loved her. Ellie? Ellie would have loved her. Sarah? Sarah would have loved her. Both? They would have loved each other.
However, just as you both sat, looking at each other with sad yet content smiles, a light began to flicker on the porch and with a sigh, you got up.
“This damn thing. I just changed the bulb yesterday.”
Within moments, you had your ladder and tool box out as well as a new bulb.
“Are you sure you don’t need any help?”
“Nope. I’ve got it.”
“Okay, but, be careful. It’s still a little slippy out here.”
Joel spoke the truth. Despite being the spot where they sat being completely dry, the other half of the porch was still somehow sprayed with water.
Whilst you got to work trying to take the cover from the light, hammering the screwdriver end in with your hand until you heard the pop!, Joel had his foot on the bottom step of the ladder, watching you from below.
Yet, somehow, you still managed to slip once you, after a very rare struggle, managed to get the cover from the bulb off.
Maybe it was some twist of fate, but somehow you ended up in Joel’s arms.
At first, your back remained to him.
“You okay, Darlin’?”
For the first time since being sat with him, you found yourself speechless again. Flustered.
“Oh, I, uh…mm-hmm.”
“You sure?”
Turning your head, you found Joel inches from you. Your bodies were pressed so tight, you’d be surprised if even a shadow could fit between you both.
“Yes.”
Joel swallowed thickly as his gaze flicked from your eyes to your lips and back again. You could feel his warm palm spreading across your hip, his strong forearm flush against the bottom of your back, pulling you just that little bit closer to him. And when he spoke, you found your breath caught in your throat.
“Can I kiss you?”
Your brain felt both electric and fried at the same time. Maybe you were just hallucinating; imagining he wanted to kiss you.
But then his other hand came up and brushed the stray hairs from your face, tucking them behind your ear.
“Because I’d really like to, Darlin’. But I won’t unless I have your permission.”
If that wasn’t enough to make a girl melt on the spot.
At first, all you could do was nod.
“I need words, Darlin’.”
Good, Lord!
Swallowing thickly, you forced your voice from your throat. “Y-Yes.”
“You don’t sound too sure.” Joel hesitated.
“Yes, Joel. You can kiss me.”
Your voice, although still quiet, was more assertive that time.
“Are you-”
“Just shut up and kiss me, Miller.”
You saw a split second of Joel’s smile grace his face before he pulled you closer to him and kissed your lips.
And it. Was. Electric.
Your hand came to his collar, pulling him closer to you although you both figured that was impossible by now.
His thumb brushed the side of your temple before he pushed his hand through your hair and drank you in once more. Meanwhile, the arm that held you securely around your back, tensed. His hand came into a fist and it scrunched the corner of your jumper and t-shirt with it.
You moved your hand to his neck, pulling him closer still until finally you both had to stop in order to catch your breath.
Joel’s hand relaxed for a moment before you felt his palm touch your skin beneath your clothes.
“Sorry,” he apologised after a moment, his voice husky. “Got carried away.”
You smiled and shook your head against his. “Don’t be.”
“Mind if I do it again?”
“Not at all.”

yo. Can I request a "darn, ur brother's hot" to the basketball club. A platonic and a romantic one please. Thanks!
of course! Though I didn't know Najma was a guy. I'm not sure if you want najma, but I'll add it anyways since I love her.
Ace:
Platonic: groosss stoppp. This is weird. Dude, no. *throws up* ew.
Romantic: Prefect, you're taste is so weird. That's like having a crush on a wet sock. U for real? He kinda gross though. Like, he randomly lifts people(me) up, and he hardly explains anything, and he's really rude. Plus he never cleans after himself!
(Prefect: like you?)
No! I'm not. I'm much better than him. Hey, what's that look for?! I am though! I can do sick hoops, unlike that dweeb.
(You shouldn't call your brother a dweeb-)
Prefect, look at this cool shot!
*ball doesn't even get near the hoop*
(prefect: ah)
Don't laugh! I was just distracted! I could totally do it on my 2nd try. Hey! Stop laughing!
Floyd:
Platonic: *judges you, with the most disgusted look in his eyes* gross.
Romantic:
*gives you the cold shoulder that day. Even when you ask him why he's been weird these past 5 hours, he glares and just leaves. 2 minutes later, you're on the floor with a heavy Floyd on top of you*
"SHRIMPYYYY." *he wails* "chooseeee me insteadddd" *he starts shaking you aggresively, as you look a bit confused* "say yes, say yes, say yes. Shrimpy say yes"
*he keeps shaking you until you say yes, which you do since you're starting to get dizzy. Or maybe you're just a simp*
"Yay!" *he hugs you, crushing your bones in the process* "Shrimpy, let's kiss!" *and you blush, shocked cause you didn't realise that's what you agreed too. Or you did, cause you're a simp.*
Jamil:
Platonic: *so surprised, he missed the shot.*
My what? *realises he missed the shot, and starts focusing back at the ball, envisioning himself in an actual game. Well, trying to. He can't keep his mind out of what you said. That line sounds really romantic out of context. Anyways, after practice, he evaluates you. * "Nope. Najma's a pain in the neck, but she doesn't deserve that." He whispers, confirming his disapproval of you. Then, he realised you were just joking around.
"Prefect, that is not funny. And I'll never give you my blessing"
Romantic: *in between of confused, jealous, and slightly disgusted.* "I...see. I don't understand why since, as her brother, I have to deal with her 24/7. To each their own, I guess. Even if she does leave her dirty clothes all around her room, and only bathes 4 times a week. And burns every meal she makes. But we all have our preferences, I suppose. Ah. Kalim is hosting another party this week. Could you help taste-test my cooking?
but I say, do not swear(as in promise) at all...let your answer be "yes" if yes, or "no" if no. Anything more than that is evil.

(IT FIT SO WELL, I'M SORRY!)
13 years are nothing comparing to my love to you."

thinking abt modern!au ellie ˗ˏˋ ꒰ ♡ ꒱ ˎˊ˗
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
basically just some thoughts/head canons i have for the lovely ellie williams! these are my opinions so it's totally cool if you don't agree, it's all for funsies :)
notes: all of them (should be) are sfw! pls ignore any bad grammar, i didn't edit this at all
happy reading! ♡
𖦹 firstly, i love ellie so much but that girl is a loser (lovingly). she's quite the introvert AND has a rbf (resting bitch face) so making friends is definitely not the easiest thing for her to do.
𖦹 She spends a lot of her time with either Dina & Jesse or just chilling alone. When she is alone, she can be found playing guitar, listening to music, or reading some used paperback.
𖦹 gamer!ellie is alive and well!! she's a very typical gamer. stays up WAYY too late yelling at her screen when she's losing. girl will stare at her screen for hours and then be confused when she gets a headache.
𖦹 Dina suggests that Ellie joins a club or sport in order to "be social" and she goes out to join some community soccer team. and of course she ends up loving it. she's a quick learner and is able to be competitive without being too mean.
𖦹 Ellie NEVER lets her hair get past her shoulders. it's not even because she thinks it's "girly" to have long hair either. it just doesn't have the motivation for taking care of longer hair. when it does get a bit "long" she'll let you put in little braids cause she knows you like playing with her hair.
𖦹 idk how to explain this but ellie is the BIGGEST paramore fan. the first song she heard was "decode" when Dina forced her to watch Twilight, and just fell in love with the music right away. when she found out what Hayley looked like she freaked out. Not only do they share a last name, but Hayley is hot!! (basically ellie has a huge crush on hayley & listens to paramore 24/7)
𖦹 aside from paramore, ellie actually has a pretty obscure taste in music. she got a lot of her favorite songs off of Joel, but she enjoys quite a bit of modern music too! she's definitely a wired headphones user. (me too tho)
𖦹 definitely has multiple piercings in her ears, but only wears simple silver/black earrings. saw Jesse with one of his ears pierced and thought it was the coolest thing ever.
𖦹 she likes dogs, but is a cat person at heart. she has a black cat with some silly non-cat name & adores it so much. constantly buying her cat toys and treats because they're "besties"
𖦹 her favorite cuss word is "shit" because of how versatile it is.
𖦹 has a couple of other tattoos apart from the piece on her forearm. definitely keeps her tattoos within a relatively similar theme.
𖦹 unlike myself, ellie is really minimalistic when it comes to social media. she has instagram and snapchat, but only uses it to post her cat & send memes to Jesse and Dina.
𖦹 has like 3 pairs of the same shoe. a set of black high-top converse. they fit her perfectly and she rarely wears anything else.
𖦹 her love language is a combo of quality time and physical touch, so taking naps with you is one of her favorite things to do. considers napping a legitimate date activity.
𖦹 just because she is an introvert doesn't mean much other than she prefers to spend her free time by herself. she absolutely kills it when it comes to public speaking / presentations bc she's confident in her intelligence and knows what she's talking about.
𖦹 on the other hand, she has NO idea how to write an essay that involves interpreting information because she has to have guidelines. has tried paying you to write her essays for her (it never works).
𖦹 the interwebs told me she's a sagittarius which i'm not sure if i agree with or not. she definitely has the passion and confidence of a fire sign but everything else about her says EARTH SIGN!!! (i'm a virgo lol)
𖦹 even though she doesn't really like it, she'll go out and shop with you because she likes watching you try everything on. this is also the only way she'll try anything on herself, is if she's with you and can get your opinion right then and there.

I am for sure up for fluff! I hope this is what you were looking for, and if it is not please let me know! I will gladly rewrite it.
“I know you had a bad day, so I made you cookies”
Tumblr media
Eddie could easily tell Y/N was having a bad day. She'd usually smile at him every second, laugh at every joke he'd tell at lunch, and peck his lips before every class. Her lips were frowning this morning, and a fake small laugh would leave her lips at his horrible joke, and his lips had been lonely since last night. He wasn't sure what made her upset. He didn't know if she woke up upset, or as the day went on, it was not working in her favor. And the worst part is that he's been running to every class and barely saw her all day. It's like she was replaced by someone who was not his girlfriend.

He quickly sat down at the hellfire lunch table and realized she had not sat down yet, her spot was still vacant.
"Okay, does anyone know why my girl is so upset today?' Eddie asked out loud, hoping someone had an idea why she was so upset.
"I'm glad you noticed. I was getting worried. She didn't bring me my usual "good luck on your test" note, and I truly believe I failed that test because of it. Dustin answered.
Eddie rolled his eyes at the dramatic ending of his sentence, but the anxiety in his chest got worse when he heard she'd been weird with everyone. But secretly, he was happy to know that it wasn't him that was the problem.
"Yeah, I saw her crying in the hallway while she talked to Chrissy. Maybe she knows? " Mike butted in.
Eddie loudly clapped and pointed at Mike "You are a genius. Of course, the best friend would know. " He loudly exclaimed, causing eyes to drift towards him, but he shrugged it off. The chair next to him scraped against the floor loudly, and a heavy body plumped down with a sigh. His brown puppy eyes looked over to Y/N as she pulled out a textbook. His eyes grew more worried when he noticed she didn't even kiss him.
"Jesus Eddie, you gave me a heart attack." she clenched her chest. On any other day, Eddie would laugh, but today he was too worried about Y/N.
"Hey, baby." He softly smiled. He knew better than to ask her what was wrong in front of an audience, so for now, he would simply be gentler and sweeter than usual. He decided his heart hurt too much from the absence of her lips in the past 24 hours, so he quickly leaned in and tasted her lips. He felt her smile and kiss him back. But she pulled away faster than usual, and the smile was gone before he could blink. He grabbed her shaking hand under the table and placed it on his knee. It was a common way for her to comfort him, but sometimes just feeling him would comfort her. And he hoped the small gesture would help her feel more at ease. The group quickly fell into a discussion, but Eddie's eyes stayed on her the whole time.

Once the final bell rang, Eddie quickly moved in the direction of Chrissy's locker. "What's wrong with her?" Chrissy practically jumped out of her skin at the voice coming from over her shoulder.
"She's just having a hard day. I guess her parents got on her ass for getting a B on her last test. Her brother has been trying to get her to break up with you and convince his parents that you will just break her heart. And well, her favorite ponytail broke and she started sobbing in the hallway, but I think that was the final snap. " Eddie's heart hurt hearing that his girlfriend was going through so much and he didn't know. Granted, he wasn't able to see her after he dropped her off last night after their first date. He wondered why she didn't call; she knew he'd always answer the phone no matter what time it was. He also felt anger towards her asshole brother. That guy has been on their necks about their relationship since the very beginning.

Eddie thanked her for the information and raced to his van. Y/N was getting a ride from Steve since her work shift started pretty much right after school. Having a few hours before she got off, Eddie headed to the store. He paced down the baking aisle, looking at the many different cookie choices. He has never seen so many damn flavors in his life. Peanut butter? No, she hates peanut butter. Sugar? Well, that just seemed boring. Snickerdoodle? That sounded like a dog breed. Oatmeal? Yuck. Lastly, he saw chocolate chips. You can't go wrong with chips, right?

Wrong! Baking cookies was a lot harder than Eddie thought it would be. He cracked eggs, and half the shell went into the bowl. He tried to dig them out until Wayne told him that it ruined the eggs. He tried to soften the butter but ended up putting metal in the microwave. Wayne was not pleased with that one. He tried to measure out the oil and it slipped from his hands because they were greasy from the damn bottle. At one point, Wayne kicked him out of the kitchen and sent him to the couch while he fixed and cleaned the kitchen. "Okay Eddie, they are done in 20 minutes. Do not forget. " And he was out the door for work.

Eddie forgot about the cookies. He went to his bedroom with the idea of cleaning it up before his girlfriend arrived. but got sidetracked when a new idea popped into his head. And before he knew it, the smell of something burning took him away from his thoughts. "FUCK," he yelled as he raced to the kitchen. And sure enough, his cookies were very burned, like black. Eddie sighed heavily. All he wanted to do was make his girlfriend cookies, and he couldn't even do that.

Y/N was trying to survive the day. She missed Eddie and was looking forward to spending the night with him in his arms. All she needed was to be held and told that all would be okay. As Steve dropped her off at Eddie's trailer, she noticed many of the windows were open. She walked in confused. Her heart melted at the sight of her boyfriend holding a plate of something black in the shape of a circle with a beautiful smile on his face. "What are you up to, baby?" She asked as she kissed his lips. His smile silently faded.
"Well, I knew you were having a bad day, and you always say a sweet treat would make you feel better when you were young, so I thought I'd try it, and well, it was a disaster." He laughed.

Her heart had turned into a puddle at her feet, and if she didn't walk carefully, she'd slip in it. Her eyes got wet and she cried for the second time that day. Seeing the tears, Eddie quickly put the plate on the counter and cupped her cheeks.

"Hey no, don't cry. I promise you don't have to eat them." He tried to joke, and it landed. A watery laugh left her lips, and it was real. His stomach flips at the sound, and his own smile lights up his face. His eyes studied her face with adoration.

"Good tears baby, I can't believe you'd do all of this just because I had a bad day." She wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling herself close. Feeling his body heat cover her everywhere.

He kissed her head with a soft caress. "Well, of course, I did. I love you and want you to feel better on your bad days. "

Let's just say her day got so much better.
