THEORY: SJM will write a crossover book of throne of glass, acotar and crescent city

ok y’all i have a theory that after the crescent city and nessian series, SJM will write a crossover book/series about ALL THREE OF HER SERIES IN ONE. HEAR ME OUT I HAVE EVIDENCE:

1. First of all, its no secret that sarah has hinted in her books that all three series are connected and that interdimensional travel is possible. There are many examples, but here are a few major ones: 

the Book of Breathings from acotar was mentioned in Crescent City

 when Aelin is falling through different worlds in KOA, she falls into velaris and waves at rhys and feyre:

2. Secondly, SJM is working on a book listed on her official goodreads page, titled “Twilight of the Gods”. In ancient mythology, Twilight of the Gods (AKA Ragnarok) “is a series of events, including a great battle, foretold to lead to the death of a number of great figures, natural disasters and the submersion of the world in water. After these events, the world will resurface anew and fertile, the surviving and returning gods will meet and the world will be repopulated by two human survivors.” - this could be reason for the books to crossover to save their worlds from destruction

3. Thirdly, in her Crescent City Q&A, Sarah was asked what she is working on, and she said apart from crescent city 2 and the nessian book, she is working on something secret that she cant talk about yet (she looked very giddy and excited when saying this) - could be twilight of the gods!! you can watch it at this link, she talks about it at 1hr 48 seconds: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SuE3x0jhtng

also in her Q&A behind her is a drawing she did that i think represents all 3 of her series/protagonists: a fireheart (aelin), stars (feyre) and a crescent moon (bryce). it might be a little hint at a meeting of our three protagonists.

I don’t know if this has been said before but i LOVE the idea of Lorcan being afraid of something like frogs or lizards

Like just imagine Elide just doing chores around the house or signing official papers and all of sudden she hears the girliest shriek come from another room and Lorcan, one of the most powerful Fae warriors in the world, runs into the the room looking EXTREMELY distressed and starts begging Elide to get rid of the frog in the kitchen (because I also love the idea of Lorcan loving to cook for Elide because she’s super busy all the time) and Elide just sighs and laughs at her brute of a husband cowering from a small frog and goes to catch the frog and put it outside and then it takes a minute for Lorcan to calm himself down from the absolute terror that was in his kitchen before kissing Elide in gratitude and returning to his cooking

And then Elide tells Aelin about Lorcan’s fear of frogs and then everybody makes fun of him even more than they already did for “Lord Lorcan Lochan”

I finished it in time!!!!

I read until 5 AM this morning and then around 5 PM this afternoon I picked it back up to finish it. 

I loved the book. I wish I had remembered to post when I did the first session so I could talk about my thoughts, but I didn’t!

Umm favorite things were Elide racing across the battlefield for Lorcan, Dorian’s trap for Maeve, and as heartbreaking as it was, the scene with the Thirteen was absolutely stunning. I actually cried about the Thirteen, the only time I literally cried over this entire series. 

The “take it off” scene was unbelievably tense and so sad. And the battles were straight up epic and so vivid. 

It was a bumpy start for this series; I did not like Throne of Glass, but I am glad I stuck with it.
