I'm not nearly as in the Spider-Man fandom as I used to, but have an old one shot of Otto having a giant crush

It's a routine for them by now, to sit at their desks and study together. They'd ended up pushing their desks side by side in front of the only window in their room after they'd had to keep turning around to try and ask the other about a question for their shared physics class. He hums along to the record that's quietly playing, Norman having brought his player with him. It's one of Otto's records, as they like to trade off on who gets to pick. He thinks he can't sing for shit, but Norman always tells him he's rather good at it, so he tries to believe him. He feels his train of thought drifting so he forced himself to focus back on his assignment, looking to his notes to figure it out.

"Otto? Are you listening?" He blinks a bit at realizing he's being spoken to, pushing up his glasses as he looks to Norman.

"Yes? Is something wrong?" He asks, wondering why the quiet was broken. He doesn't think he's done anything wrong, thick brows furrowing as he tries to think.

"I've said your name four times, I was thinking you'd gotten lost in your own head again." Norman chuckles, and Otto feels his heart flutter in his chest at the warm sound.

"Apologies, I just got a bit focused, you know how it is." He laughs quietly in response.

"Did you need my help?" He tries to stay on topic, wanting to try and finish his assignment so he can start on his essay for another class.

"I'd like another pair of eyes on this equation, it doesn't seem to be adding up, would you mind?" The blonde brushes a stray lock of hair behind his ear, it having fallen into his face. Otto tries not to stare as he holds out his hand.

"I don't." He takes the paper and looks over the equation, comparing it to his own.

"Oh, I see." He grabs his pencil and points things out as he starts to explain, focusing on explaining it to the best of his ability. It takes a good 10 minutes for Norman to understand his rambling, but as he hands the paper back over with a nod he's taken entirely off guard. "Thank you, Otto, you're quite the good partner." The words have him holding his pencil in a vice grip, struggling to gather any of his thoughts as he goes bright red.

"*E-Excuse me?*" He asks, voice cracking.

"Are you blushing, Octavius?" Norman's got a grin on his face as he looks at him, teeth on display. His incisors are a bit sharp, Otto hadn't noticed that before.

"*I-*" He takes a deep breath and pushes up his glasses to hide his face in a hand.

"*I'm just- I'm quite alright.*" He can't help the pause, it's hard to think with how warm he's gotten over just two words.

"Are you certain? You're awfully red." He tries so hard not to whine at him from his pure embarrassment of realizing how bad his crush is, not wanting to be heard making such a noise. He can't help but think of how Norman might react if he did, he doesn't want to be found out before he can even ask him on a date.

In this version of Spiderman, Max was lucky enough to get some lightning from one of Thor’s fights (it’s Marvel–ANYTHING can happen), but exposure to it lead to getting electrocuted which lead to the insane luck of gaining the power over lightning and electricity. He went from a young electrician struggling to make enough money to go to college and escape an oppressive past to a powerful foe who thrives on the freedom and change his new gift grants him.

I didn’t want to copy any of the existing Electro costumes and I opted for using less green and more black and yellow. Inspirations included electric eels, an electrician’s jump suit, and the original Electro costume. I wanted this Electro to be masculine, but have a sort of gracefulness about him. I had fun designing the final version and I think my favorite drawing on here is the one in the upper right with the canister with the lightning inside.

Also, I had to give him a special chest binder since he’s trans. I had fun making it.

not to be predictable but im absolutely obsessed this doc ock from spiderman show for preschoolers (spidey and his amazing friends) like aside from the fact that there are three spiders (peter parker ghost spider gwen stacy and miles morales) she's really the only character whos like. not a Typical Interpretation of the Classic Marvel Character.

she's not a genderbent otto octavius like the ock from itsv, she's carolyn trainer who is a different person who takes up the mantle or whatever. etc. which is why i group her with gwen and miles. Guess who saw Spiderman: No Way Home? I LOVED this movie. I thought it was a work of art. Whether it be my nostalgia or something else, I thought this movie was an absolute delight. Can you tell who my favorite character was?

Okay, some headcanons I have (spoiler free!) -Otto Octavius, or Doc Ock, is trans-masc. -He forms a bond with Peter after he realized they were both trans. The second image shows Otto helping Peter through a bad night of dysphoria. And no, it isn't a ship image. They have a father-son relationship in headcanon.

-As shown in the third image, Otto and Norman, aka Green Goblin, are two old men in love. I like to think they had something between them in college, but in order to advance in the hierarchy of the new tech world at the time, they broke it off in exchange for two heteronormative relationships. Not to say that they didn't love their wives! There was just always something special between Otto and Norman that could never be quenched by the love of their wives. After meeting back up in No Way Home, they rekindle their relationship and live happily ever after.

I have WAY more headcanon and au stuff, but I can't explain that because it contains spoilers. I'll wait about a month and post about it then!

I felt like drawing @artistcaptainbendy‘s Curt Connors a bit (and a few of Billy, whose design is also owned by artistcaptainbendy). Some of them are inspired by details that they confirmed to me.

Also I decided to include my version of Max Dillon (at least before he becomes Electro). I was inspired by the fact that Curt and Max knew each other in the Andrew Garfield!Spiderman films according to No Way Home and a little of what I know of the Spectacular Spiderman.
