Officially Published!!

I'm very happy to introduce the first coming novel of my trilogy series. I recently published a personal project of mine through Amazon Kindle Publishing, and you can now read my first work there. I've developed an original story and fostered its upcoming pieces since the early 2010s. Even now, I don't intend on stopping! Writing has always meant the world to me and I hope that sharing what I do with the world can either inspire others or create an environment worthwhile to those willing to discover it. June 12, 2023: Beta Readers Wanted

Hello. How are you doing? I think I should explain a few things. Let me get this out of the way first: I will be looking for beta readers for the first part of the book XIV.

Yes, XIV is about Louis XIV. How did you know? Anyway, it is a long book and it will be here always: @lesecretdelamaisondubourbon.

Long story short: a famous person DMs me to ask to read my work and I had to make it possible. I write a lot (@tkwrtrilogy @tkwrtrilogy @tkwrtrilogy3 @trenarnolegolaslasgalen and all subsequent side projects), and this trilogy is part of my work. So, naturally, I decided that why should the famous person have all the fun? I decided to make it possible for a few beta readers to read Part I of XIV (which is a trilogy within an actual trilogy now because each part is as long as a book). Good, now that you know that...

Yes, Monsieur has his own book--which brings me to what I should explain (more about this particular trilogy).

This is Part II of Book III--NOT of XIV (which is about Louis XIV). This is a separate book. It is written by @fortunatelyclevercandy (who is also working on @thehouseofdurin). Clearly, this book is entitled Monsieur (because, as everyone knows, Monsieur was the honorific title of the second-born son of a French Monarch).

Part I of Book III is the book XIV written by @iamjaynaemarie (the person writing this blog post, and author of the abovementioned blogs about The Kingdom of the Woodland Realm Trilogy).

Yes, THIS book is about Louis XIV. This book is the one that will be available in November for a select group of readers.

This is a trilogy. Why is it a trilogy?

This is why*. It's a family affair. Interestingly enough, this family makes all other royal families look like Disney by comparison. The years of movies and television shows didn't even scratch the surface.

⚠️ BY THE WAY: People seem to be having issues with WordPress and reading this book, so I am going to figure out what is going on today and probably until tomorrow. I don't know what happened. It works for me obviously because I'm the one posting things on my website. But for some reason, it is not working for readers, so I'm going to be looking into that today and probably over the next few days to rectify this issue. In the meantime, anyone not on WordPress please try to read Tumblr for a while. I hope it doesn't take too long.

Yeah, the KING is NOT HAPPY about that.

*Book I will be the last book completed. It is going through some minor outline changes as the overall tone of the trilogy has shifted to deal with our favorite recurring theme: Brothers.

Note: This book is also written in multiple languages: English, French, Spanish, Italian, and German. This means that the actual text of the book will casually flip between languages (mostly in dialogue). This is done because, interestingly enough, Louis XIV was fluent in English, French, Spanish, Italian, and German. His brother Philippe preferred Spanish to his native French, but he was also multilingual as his best friend was Italian, his first wife was English, and his second wife spoke German. 🙂

Before I go ANY further: Let me tell you what happened (briefly):

I was told all of this on February 16, 2023. So I had to put Book I: The Epic of Eryn Galen (@tkwrtrilogy3) on hiatus until all of my source material was replaced. All of this was on the heels of deciding what to do with all this work I've done on the life and times of the Elves of the Woodland Realm (i.e.: publishing).

NOW, for the MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT:

I just noticed that @trenarnolegolaslasgalen begins on May 2, 2023. That is on a Tuesday (aka Aldúya/Aldëa or Treesday in Quendi; Orgaladh in Sindarin). Legolas' Birthday. Fate seems to always be written in the stars. Either way, if you're on Facebook or Instagram, there's a lovely video marking the occasion of this wonderful announcement.

As we get closer to that date, I will explain (again) how you will be able to read the Extended Version (@tkwrtrilogylasttale) works. I remember how confusing it was for Thranduil's story (@tkwrtrilogy & @extendedtkwrtrilogyend).

As for my beloved stepsister Roseann Grotjan, I pray she does nothing else to hinder the completion of this trilogy and its other 3 standalone books (including @oflordsandkingstkwrtbook @tkwrtsongofsevenrivers). She has no idea how much she is going to have to replace when it comes to my Tolkien Collection I spent years building. On the upside, she did bring me some books that I asked for (even though I asked for them all). What I do have has allowed me to move Legolas' story up the ladder.

I would like to finish these books as people are dying to edit them for publication apparently. And what the world needs now more than ever is another installment of Tolkien stories for their personal libraries, I am sure. Especially the story (Amazon 🤫) keeps tabs on. To be honest, they want the entire trilogy. I wasn't born yesterday.

Note: When I said three standalone books, the final installment is about someone you adore so much. (later on that one).

Spoiler: Everything is tied to Book I: The Epic of Eryn Galen. Just so you know. And all of these books have ties to @thehouseofdurin in one way or another. On the upside, my family has no idea how far I have come as a writer (of now TWO trilogies [@lesecretdelamaisondubourbon & @thesecretofthehouseofbourbonbook) and they're missing all the fun. Because no matter how hard you try, you cannot interfere with God's plan for others. 🙂 Yay.

I'm rewatching the hunger games for reasons and I just had a thought that really touched me: if Rue had survived with Katniss till the end, it would have been the exact same scenario as w Peeta, bc there is no way either of those two would have killed each other, but it would have made a very different story.

the fact that remains consistent through any storyline with Katniss is that she would never intentionally harm a friend, and she will protect them at all costs. so no matter who she survived with if she had an alliance, and it came down to her and her alliance, she wouldn't have been able to do it.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that it was all doomed from the beginning: from the second that Effie drew Prim's name, there was no hope for the capitol.

Heh it took me watching Kung Fu Panda 2 to realise. So if there’s one thing I’ve figured out, don’t remember if I’ve done posts on it before.

DreamWorks has a trend, when they make trilogies of their movies. Or in Shrek’s case 4. The ideas of their movies tend to be similar to one another.

How to Train Your Dragon Shrek Madagascar Kung Fu Panda

I mean lately others of their sequels don’t count. They’ve changed it up with The Croods, Boss Baby, and Puss in Boots.

For the four I mentioned above? Their sequels tend to have plot lines involving parents. Be it of protagonist or those close to them. Lemme show ya.

Shrek? He meets Fiona’s parents. Madagascar? Alex found his parents who he’d been taken from years ago. Kung Fu Panda? Po discovers what happens to his parents, where he came from. How to Train Your Dragon? Hiccup finds his long-lost thought to be deceased mother.

Heck even Trolls fits into this. I haven’t seen World Tour for myself but I found that Cooper goes looking and finds his long-lost parents.

There’s another point I’m coming to, hold on. But their third doesn’t mesh with another. Although, it might’ve had. Kung Fu Panda and How to Train Your Dragon. (I know can you believe it?) As I said above, Kung Fu Panda 2; when I watching it yesterday I took particular note of the detail where Shen eliminated an entire village of pandas. Displaying, that pandas lived isolated from the other animals, and we even see the same in Kung Fu Panda 3. Getting the occasional mention of how Po may have been the last of his kind.

Ring a bell for HTTYD? If the answer eludes you, the question poised throughout the whole franchise of Toothless being the last of his kind.Toying with it in many installments. Riders of Berk where Hiccup and Toothless were tricked and captured with the lure being an island full of Night Furies who stay isolated because they’re hostile to other dragons. RTTE, Hiccup looking through the Dragon Eye to see the information on Night Furies. Viggo even unlocking the Dragon Eye and the first image being distinctly of a Night Fury. HTTYD 2, after mapping a new island Hiccup suggests maybe they’ll finally find another Night Fury. Eret saying he thought the Night Furies were all gone for good. Valka saying he may truly be the last of his kind. Then comes The Hidden World. Our long-awaited answer... which came to be that one man hunted them to extinction. Cheating with using dragons who were drugged on their own venom.

Okay we know this I ain’t a big fan of THW. I mean you don’t know how crazed I went at finding out one of the first ideas for THW was Drago coming back and there’d be whump where he captured Hiccup to get to Toothless. However I also know the behind-the-scenes bit where Art Brown and Douglas Sloan kept Dean Deblois on close tabs on the path they were taking RTTE. He was the one who said they couldn’t dabble with the Toothless being the last one idea. That was gonna be reserved for the third movie.

I see it now. I may have been of the ones who said they absolutely should have had more Night Furies, but the thing is, with those examples, their possibilities had been exhausted. Why reuse an idea that had already been shut down? While I disagree with the fact they used the one man eliminated an entire species, it was a difficult outcome to storyboard.

With yesterday’s viewing? Had HTTYD actually done a way to have Toothless find out he truly wasn’t the last, matches on par with Kung Fu Panda 3. I mean they needed some way to differentiate huh

You know, if I had to tell everyone what happened to me, it would be another book all together, and right now I have my hands full with books. I am so busy now that I have just been told to give up my dreams PhD work and just concentrate on writing books.

First things first: @tkwrtrilogy3 is back. First of all there will be a crash course on what the new people that showed up missed. That begins tomorrow the writing begins October 7 as you can see by the lovely illustration above.

So much to do and so much time to do it. Considering this book is a trilogy, and it has an extra three books attached to it, I’ll probably be writing this one until I’m 70. I just turned 50 so that tells you a lot. OK, so I write fast. Maybe 65. Be grateful. Oh. It is already twice as long than the entire first season of Rings of Power (probably longer).

Next: The New King in Town @lesecretdelamaisondubourbon So, you probably missed it. Not only am I Thranduil, I am also Louis XIV currently. I will be his Daddy, too.

You don’t wanna know. Well maybe you do. Let’s just say I have extensively covered his love life and survey says: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

If you were ever on my Instagram, you would know there’s a new lady in town for His Majesty Louis XIV. and none of you know who she is because she’s new to a degree. Anyway, let’s just say they had fun (and will continue to have fun. However, if you are reading the book on Tumblr, Louis is still a baby. I had to jump ahead for theme reason on Instagram and I’m afraid if you go over there you’ll want him to grow faster. I would also like to tell everybody that his brother Philippe he has a story to tell.

Oh, does Monsieur have a story to tell. That belongs to my co-author, @fortunatelyclevercandy. As they say, true friendship never expires. Don’t worry you’ll like it I’ve already read some of the story and it’s: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Oh, right. The Secret of the House of Bourbon is also a trilogy. I write trilogies. Why? Because I’d like to write. A lot. I also read as much as I write. And sometimes in French. HOB (as we call it) covers 196 years of the House of Bourbon. I wanted to start with Louis XIII, but my co-author loves her some Philippe, so to stay consistent, I headed over to Louis XIV. That was probably the absolute best decision I ever made in my life and I suck at making decisions. I really suck at making decisions. I try my best not to make any of them. So, like I always do, I ended up beginning a story in the middle. I am in Book III and it is all about Louis XIV. Yes, there are women. More than you can imagine but not as many as his grandfather Henri IV. There is no one earth who can have that many women except for his grandfather Henri IV. Oh, and by the way, this is not fanfiction based on anything like a television show perhaps. This is all about the history and the history is wilder than the television show. How wild? Let’s just say somebody made me go through 500 pictures of one poem before they decided OK, this doesn’t have to be a PG-13 novel. 😑 I mean it doesn’t have to be like Tolkien. We are grownups. I think we’re grown ups. Well, she might be more than I am. But we’re definitely grownups. So anyway this is a grown-up book about grown-ups just happened to start as children before they become grown-ups. In 17th-century France. Yeah. Did you know Louis was born with two teeth? 🦷

We are adults. Fun fact: My birthday is September 4. The day before Louis XIV. Ain’t that a kick in the head?

So, I guess this is it. I guess I am coming back. It’ll take a while to get used to being back after such a Trumatic experience I went through, but I’m happy to be back to doing what I love. Writing. Oh, one more thing:

Suzanne collins wrote a trilogy where a main media propaganda strategy was to market a horrific act of violence as a love story to distract ppl and then it got adapted into a box office breaking movie and ppl made it all about the love triangle. so then since they didn’t get the point the first time Suzanne collins wrote a prequel story about the main dictator and she makes it so that you as a reader want it to be a genuine love story so badly even tho it’s so very clearly not and instead feels extremely unsettling to make her point even more meta which then gets adapted into another box office breaking film and now ppl are making romantic snowbaird tik toks. do u think she’s gonna write another book that’s somehow even more blatant or just give up and start executing ppl? hard to say but I wouldn’t blame her for the second one

Obsessed with characters who portray themselves as worse than they are. Who are lying to everyone including themselves about it. People generally assume if someone's lying about themselves they're trying to look better but sometimes they're trying to look worse. They attribute agency to where they had none, add intend to accidents, try to convince everyone that this is something they did instead of something that happened to them.

We don’t talk about Leia killing Jabba enough. Her grandmother and father were born into slavery. Her blood was that of the desert sand and the shackles of bondage. Leia was never more a Skywalker than the day she strangled her slave master with the very chains he used to bind her. in fics where luke gets plopped into the prequels i want every jedi within ten metres of him to think hes the weirdest jedi theyve ever seen. he has negative lightsaber form. he doesnt know what a kata is. he handstands when he meditates. his solution to sith is to try and have a chat. hes a political radical who keeps suggesting revolution. you ask him what the jedi code is and he says "kindness and compassion and helping those in need :) ". you ask how he used the force like that and he says some shit about how you are a luminous being limited only by your mind. the councils authority is just a suggestion. he is somehow the new favourite of both qui gon and yoda
