First of all, I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE NEW 100 YQ CHAPTER!! It was so good!! Can’t wait for the next one

Secondly, NaLu (yes it’s all I ever think about) in this chapter was peak!!

Lucy is always losing those she cares for and Natsu is always there (mostly we will ignore his 1 year gap) to help her through it. But in the midst of a fight against a dragon god they can’t pause and console themselves. Instead he knows they can’t win without her bc she is smart and strong. He literally tells her she needs to fight with them. In a way, he’s helping her by getting out of her emotional trance.

And as soon as she is all ready to fight again, she comes with a plan and Natsu is all fired up!!

I love NaLu and I love how it is displayed here beyond physical touches. This shows their true dynamic. Pure trust in each other. Natsu trusts Lucy to aid them and win. He knows she can’t do that without becoming aware of the situation.

Lucy is more than just a beautiful face, she has amazing tactics!! Without her FT would’ve lost so much more than they did. In this case, I love how her brains is displayed with common knowledge that no one else thought of.

I knows it’s very far fetched but Natsu had the help of everyone else but he specifically asked Lucy to be there to fight with them. He needs her by his side. Every single villain they fought, she was there with him. She is his true strength and I love it!!

Stancy Headcanon after getting back together (just because they're presenting m/f doesn't mean they're necessarily straight):

• Nancy doesn't have to try so hard with Steve to be perfect, and she's perfectly imperfect with Steve. She doesn't feel guilty about having fun with him either.

• Steve doesn't have to be afraid of his feelings anymore, and neither does Nancy. There's open communication with them now, but still, there's a lot to work out.

• They like to dance, and when Steve sings into a hairbrush, Nancy does it right back. Though sometimes, singing into the airbrush turns into practice interviews for when Nancy's a famous reporter.

• Steve lets the kids play in the pool, but he hasn't stepped foot in it since Barb died. Neither has Nancy. Together, they work through it, getting in a little each time until they're all the way into the pool. Then it's just them, and they're surrounded by the water. . .together. They spend time in it a little each day, wrapped up in each other's arms, holding onto each other until they no longer feel like they're drowning. And when they throw a pool party, they jump into the pool together.

• Nancy learns more about Robin and her friendship with Steve. Getting to know Robin and Steve on their "girls' night", sitting on the floor as they just bitch about everything. On the floor of the living room at Steve's house, as they do Steve's hair and makeup, Robin comes out to Nancy, and she accepts, laughing about how she could ever have been jealous of Robin. And if Robin is in this queerplatonic relationship with Steve, then she's in one with Nancy, too.

• Together, Steve and Nancy also go another discovery with their sexualities and their gender when they go up to Indianapolis with Vickie and Robin. Genderfluid isn't a term yet that's used yet, but it is definitely something they feel. Nancy discovers she's pansexual (that term doesn't really take off until the 90s though) and Steve discovers he's bisexual. ("No, Steve, jerking off with your teammates isn't straight!") And while in Indianapolis, if they happen to see a showing of Rocky Horror, they enjoy it immensely.

• Their dreams interwine, come together, and grow, but the basis of their dreams remain the same. Nancy didn't just get into journalism because she likes it or because she's ambitious. She also got into it to help people. So, yeah, I can see them adopting kids and giving them a place to call home. And with the compensation money that's just sitting in their bank account, they use it to open a youth shelter: a place for lost sheep of all kinds: nerds, jocks, and queer kids to go to with a strict no bullying rule in place.

• Oh, and their mutual love of Tom Cruise grows when they both go to see Top Gun. Suddenly, Nancy's very grateful he kept the leather jacket.

• They're just a pastel colored daydream. Soft, they are, but also rough, but definitely not straight. The walls of forced conformity break down when they get back together, and with the cloud of darkness that hung over their heads dissipating each day, they finally get to enjoy their relationship.

My Headcanon for Liminals

I've been having a lot of fun posting headcanons, and I'm starting to realize just how many I've built up over the years, so here's another one.

So I've stated before that part of the reason why Danny and Vlad are so different is because Danny was inside of a portal when it turned on whereas Vlad just got a face full of energized Ectoplasm and other assorted nastiness. The still human and already ghostly halves of Danny fused into a cohesive whole in order to survive the opening of the portal and continued supporting eachother. Vlad's human half forcibly integrated his resistant ghost half as it formed in an effort to survive. Rather than a cohesive whole, Vlad is two dischordant halves.

That said, I do not consider Vlad's state the default result of humans being exposed to ectoplasm.

Part of it is because the exposure was violent and his human body was so incredibly unwell that it made sense for the part of him with less emotional attachment to it to want to escape. This illness did not stem directly from the ectoplasm. We know this much because other people exposed to ectoplasm did not get ecto-acne, and figuring out the involvement of the cola was what allowed the Fentons to cure it.

Part of it is because Vlad has a superiority complex. This means that, in any given state, Vlad considers his current way of being superior. As a human, Vlad considers humanity superior. As a ghost, Vlad considers ghosts superior. This leads to a whole lot of clash between the parts of his psyche which each consider the other half to be lesser. Combine this with the fact that each half despises the illness and associates the illness with the other half, and you get a whole lot of internal toxicity.

For the average person with ectoplasm exposure, there wouldn't be so much of a clash. They would take on some ghostly traits (more and more over time, with continued exposure) and maybe start doing some prep-work for ghosthood, but they wouldn't be trying to leave their human lives early. They probably won't have insane healing factors like Danny, but they won't be tearing themselves apart like Vlad either.

They're preparing for the afterlife, but they wouldn't be so eager to discard the human life they are still living. If you've ever had a favorite hoodie that you wore all the time until you loved it to pieces and it came apart at the seams, that's kind of the feeling. It's not the end of the world when you can't wear it anymore; you can wear other jackets when you're cold, but you want to hold onto it for as long as you can.

The more someone is exposed to ectoplasm (in terms of both frequency and amount), the more ghostly they will become over time.

A random person who just happens to live in Amity Park on the opposite side of town from Fenton Works and and was somehow never at the sight of a ghost fight, will probably just experience a slightly increased awareness of ghost-related stuff and perhaps a slightly smoother transition when their time comes.

Other kids at Casper high, who attend school with Danny every day and get caught up in ghost attacks sometimes will probably start to form the wispy beginings of their ghostly self. Sometimes you just catch a glimpse of what sort of ghost they are going to be. They may also develop some slight powers while still alive.

You look at Paulina carefully shaping and lacquering her nails into something both beautiful and dangerous, and for a split second you just know that, someday, she's going to be all claws and glittering scales and passionate pursuit of her goals. She will transcend the human form and shape herself into a work of art of her own design and a powerhouse none can deny. Then she turns to her friend and giggles over a funny story, and the moment passes; she's just another kid steadily making her way to adulthood.

She's just another kid until some jerk at the mall oggles her a little too blatantly and her jewelry flashes brighter than the lighting should allow, blinding him so that he trips into a fountain, and Paulina smugly watches him sputter before turning to walk away with a satisfied spring in her step.

Sam and Tucker, Who hang out with Danny every day and frequently explore the ghost zone with him, will start forming more of the foundation of their ghostly selves and probably develop more powers sooner. They are more likely to develop to a point of being able to take on a ghostly form while still alive.

Typically, a halfa formed through extreme, prolonged exposure like this would have a bit of separation between their human and ghostly halves, but without much discord between the two. However, with Sam and Tucker spending so much time around Danny during their formative period (and having so much less contact with any other ghost than with him), it's entirely possible that they would subconsciously learn the integrated system approach, in much the same way people pick up habits of speech from the people around them.

Imagine a seemingly tragic Fab Four, in a world where maybe there was some truth to the Jet Star and the Kobra Kid traffic report, where Poison ran out as soon as the announcement came and Fun Ghoul couldn’t follow fast enough. Or maybe something completely different happens but whatever happened, maybe he’s the only member of the fabulous four left. Or maybe they just lost one of them, maybe Party, dragged off by Korse on the day when the fabulous four finally lost a fight to them, to be interrogated and probably killed.

But whoever they lost, months or even years down the line, it’s finally Fun Ghoul’s turn. He can’t get out of the way fast enough and there’s guns trained on him, he can’t fight his way out of this one. There’s two choices, let them take him or go down fighting. Die here and now or become a prisoner and maybe have the slightest chance of escaping. There’s nobody to help him, maybe Kobra and Jet were there too, but they were also captured or even shot down. So Ghoul makes his choice, he drops his weapon, lets his arms be wrenched behind him, wrists cuffed tightly, and lets himself be dragged into a shiny white car and sped back to Battery City.

Next thing he knows, he’s flanked by masks as he’s escorted through the halls of a building in the city, likely towards a cell or interrogation room. He keeps his head up, keeps his eyes open for a chance at escape and shows them he’s not scared. But then someone passes them,, walking in the opposite direction down the hall, it’s just a worker or unmasked scarecrow or something, but Ghoul’s knees buckle because he recognizes that face. He cant move, freezes and stumbles, eyes welling with tears as he makes eye contact with the man he hadn’t seen in months or maybe even years, depending on how much time I decide will have passed.

Party Poison only pauses slightly when ghoul collapses, doesn’t look at him with even a flicker of recognition, just a slight grimace as Fun Ghoul is roughly hauled back to his feet and shoved along by his guards, and then they’re gone, down the hall and on their way.

Fun ghoul gets thrown into the barren room that will hold him and he sinks to his knees and cries. Party had vanished after Korse had taken him, they had assumed he had been killed, maybe they should’ve known better. But they had searched for months, they never got any intel on if they had been captured and if they were being held or not.

Fun Ghoul had just started to accept that Party was gone, but then here they were, just another drone in battery city’s halls, memories of their life locked away by drugs. And it breaks his heart, but it also gives him the strength to fight, because if he can get out of here, maybe he can find them and bring them home, maybe there’s a chance Party can remember.

But for now he’s captured, interrogated and tortured, yet to see a chance to escape as they try to do to him what they did to Party. But he fights for as long as he can.

And little does he know that meanwhile, elsewhere, that one Better Living worker is unraveling, because that glimpse of Fun Ghoul in the hall started to undo something that had been done to them long ago. And soon they’ll start to question things, and then they might start to remember. And in a search for answers they’ll brave execution by going to the source. Fun Ghoul thinks he’s going to get out and save party poison. The last thing he expects is party poison busting in and saving him.

sirius and his silly little piano can be something so dear to me. he had such an ear for music, one that was certainly not appreciated by his mother. but he later learned that it sparked a reaction in remus, one of complete awe every time he showcased his talent of copying any piece he’d been fed. he loved being able to make remus’ favourite music seem all the more real to him.

he wouldn’t really dabble in originality until a little while later, though, when he realised remus’ smile reminded him of this chord and the yearning reminded him of that and suddenly he’d have all these little thoughts and ideas and, wow, a healthy coping mechanism. remus’ general type of awe turned into admiration, he’d often find himself with his head resting on the stool or his back on the grand piano itself. his favourite way of appreciating the beauty of it all, though, was observing sirius’ hands at work. the passion in them, the strength, the love. they’d sit there for ages.

I'm not a mean person, l swear I'm not, but when l see any type of post or content calling a male character from Greek mythology 'bad'... l can't help myself but rant in my head (...and maybe in the hashtags...) and one of these days I'm going to go insane

I wonder if young girls were afraid of swans beacuse of Zeus 🥺”#and then another video of the SAME creator replying to a comment who said “Hera and Zeus' marriage is between two consenting adults #But hades and persephone's is not“ (which is true no hate to that guy)#but the creator made a whole ass video like #No you see Zeus and Demeter were married but when they had Persephone she left him and went to the mortal realm #cause she didnt feel safe with her brothers #then Zeus tried to Hera but she didnt want him so Zeus turned into bird bc Hera loved animals and took care of them #Zeus pretended to be injured and Hera believed it because shes a STUPID BITCH #I mean! She was young and naive so she hugged the bird and Zeus transformed into his normal form and violated her #So than Hera was soooo humiliated she had to marry Zeus! pushing back against a godly decision isn't without consequences, and pushing the issue often means getting into severe arguments and being met with threats. she tries so hard to help the children, against all advice to let go of the matter, knowing she is likely a poor replacement for their parents and that they need the gods. not her.
