👑Bloody Prince👑

I've been thinking about rendering with my Prince for a while. I was going to present it in its slightly dark and seductive version. I think I even succeeded 🥴

This is the first time when I did a render of a character and an object and I still do not get it, I gave the texture to the bedding and it was ok but the texture from the bed frame came out so horribly that I had to frame the shot so that it was not visible 😅.

Because it's a thing that pops up multiple times and I'm pedantic.

White Wolf publishing doesn't exist anymore and hasn't for a good while. V5 is made by Paradox.

For context: In 2006 White Wolf publishing has been merged with CCP. WW would handle traditional publishing while CCP would deal with some mmo stuff they wanted to do.

At one point in 2011 a shit ton of employees were laid off and the creative director then went off to create onyx path publishing which published White Wolf stuff on CCP's (and now Paradox) behalf.

In 2014 more staff was laid off and the mmo was canceled. Then Paradox bought White Wolf. Since 2018 White Wolf has been restructured directly into Paradox and hence doesn't exist.

astarion is so vtm-coded im tired of not saying it

also, the idea of him skulking around TAVERNS makes me laugh every time it comes up. like. no babes. you belong in a laser-lights early 00s industrial rave nightclub. he can even keep his camp clothes on and not be out of place.

his twisted relationship with sex and violence is also ground-floor vtm. everything is violent. everything is murky shades of grey. everything is sexy. masks upon masks upon layers of lies and broken identity.

he's just a lil boy who wants to have fun.

sure sure sure. "bad coping mechanisms" but his story isn't about dumping them, it's about freedom.

he hurts people to feel good. he's sadistic and has a level of excitement around blood and gore that's distinctly Uncomfy. he's a bully, a racist, and a selfish dirtbag who can't see beyond "me and mine" as ppl worthy to consider or care about. don't tie yourself in knots trying to talk your way out of your fave being "bad". the fandom police won't come for you. just EMBRACE IT.

One of my fave things with fanfic is when you combine multiple worlds in a way that oddly works with the lore.

Like, there’s no proof Lilith’s attempt to save her lover in Obey Me didn’t create the vampires from Vampire: the Masquerade. And there’s technically nothing saying that Digimon exist in OM, when in their world the internet has existed for at least like 5000 years. It makes perfect sense for Yuu from Twisted Wonderland to be from the Pokemon world, they don’t know about Disney and they’re pointed out for her ability to deal with Grimm. Technically, Honkai Star Rail and Steven Universe could be in the same universe, considering how big space is.

I just like my silly little crossovers that have a frustrating amount of feasibility. Crack fics are the love of my life, but my fave crack fics are the ones that I can pretend are canon because no one can stop me.
