I'm re-watching ranboo's reaction to Game theory talking about just the first clip of Generation Loss, and I noticed something very interesting.

----warning, spoilers after this line/talk about blood and gore-----------------

As Mattpatt had said in the video, Generation Loss is the distortion of tapes/photos. Where when you copy a copy, you lose information over time.

When the first episode of generation loss came out, a lot of fans pointed out how funny it was over horror. There were times where it was gross or disturbing, but no true gore or jumpscares.

But that changed when episode two came out.

The first thing that we really noticed was when Ranboo opened Charlie's stomach to look for the key. When this happened we found slime, though our eyes opened when the distortion came. It showed us that the slime was guts and blood, with Charlie screaming.

When us fans realized this, we remembered episode one where the entire place including the monster, being mainly all slime, and realized how much gore was actually in that episode but we didn't know because it was censored.

And I think that happens more than we think.

Going back to episode two, we can look at the other people on the merry go round. The people on it seemed normal enough, with being scared for their lives and screaming for help. (Though I found it very strange they were so okay with Ranboo just pressing random buttons, especially when they have bombs around their necks-)

During times when they spoke, they seemed to act like NPCs. Perfectly okay talking about their lives and not worried about how only one of them could live. Charlie as well with him being perfectly okay with being cut open and talking to the guy who told Ranboo to do it

I think the only time when we got to see outside of this distorted land of these calm facade was when Sneeg put on the hat. And I don't think it was because he was remembering the other time....

My theory is that was is true reaction. He escaped the NPC distortion because of that hat, because WE the fans, noticed how similar he is to Sneeg of the first episode. And I think that's also why we got a distortion on Charlie when we realized he was full of slime.

We were told from the start how important our help was with getting Ranboo out. How we have choices. And I think we have more say on it then we think. The more we get rid of this "generation loss" on these episodes, the further we go in watching, the more we uncover and see the true picture of what's going on...

The more we see what's the real tape we're watching.

Because didn't Ranboo hint these were tapes?
