Supernatural Prompt

When you have a werewolf best friend and the villain eyes them after a bit of the fight goes on:

“When did you get a puppy?” Her tone was cocky and teasing. Person A and Person B were huffing, their team scattered. 

“Leave her alone,” Person A says wearily. She eyed person B who looked back at her.

The villain holds out a hand toward person B and casts a spell, “no I don’t think I will... I’ve always wanted a pet,” and Person B screams in agony. Their bone structure instantly changing as they fall to the ground. Person A screamed for them but after the transformation was done, all that was left was the wolf form of her friend. “Fetch,” and the team had to fight against one of their own.

💜Como no sabe donde están tan solo corre hasta llegar, por accidente, al territorio de la manada de Sam

💜Ahí es cuando asusta a las chicas que andan buscando un círculo de hadas para ver si ellas pueden romper la maldición

Esos es lo que llegue a trabajar entre ayer y hoy aunque bien me puse a pasar los puntos cambié algunas cosas. No sé a quien puedo etiquetar pero si estas leyendo esto puedes unirte.

The Werewolf AU Master List

Hello and welcome to my sideblog dedicated to a werewolf au I made up an put way too much time and effort into.

I really needed a place to keep all my notes, because honestly, it's getting ridiculous at this point. This werewolf AU is kinda like mixing D&D classes with traditional witchcraft and magic and some real-life wolf behavior research - it is not completely accurate, but it borrows things here and there.

Anyway, this Master List will be pinned and contain all information used in my AU, for easy access.

Another thing to note! Terms like ‘Alpha’ and ‘Beta’ are used in this AU. It’s not an A/B/O au. I am not judging - A/B/O is popular for a reason, and just because it's not something I'm interested in doesn't mean it's bad! But trying to apply anything A/B/O related to this AU is just going to lead to confusion.

If enough people really care about it, I might change it. But I am literally the only one who is writing for this AU specifically, so I don't think it should cause too much trouble.

Pack dynamics for domestic urban fantasy werewolves:

● They're never exclusively werewolves. Werewolves have a habit of aggressively adopting everyone they are fond of and when you've won the trust and affection of one, the rest come along in a package deal.

● They're territorial in the protective sense. No trouble in our neighborhood. No hunger in our houses. No fear on our streets.

● They hold grudges. Shopkeeper overcharged one of the pack members in their store? None of them will shop there again. Restaurant owner yelled at one the cubs who got a job there washing up? They've just lost all their hungriest diners.

● Young werewolves think the word "pack" is way too old fashioned and prefer words like crowd, crew, fam, and swarm. ("Honestly, honey, swarm? What are we, pigeons?")

● They're nosy. The upside is no one with a werewolf pack to back them up will ever be left to fend for themselves. The downside is that everyone is always sticking their hairy noses in.

● They vary greatly in size. In some places, especially more rural ones, it's not uncommon to find entire villages that are basically one pack. In other places they might only have a dozen members, scattered about. And many packs start with a set of two or three going somewhere new to build a life and a community.

The Shadows

Twisting corruption, the most terrifying curse that can come from being a werewolf.

There are many consequences for abusing a Luna, but the biggest consequence is a Luna’s last line of defense – The Shadows.

When a Luna is abused past the point of no return, their magic can corrupt itself into The Shadows. This is a type of magic that is sentient and manipulative. Any werewolf that is influenced by The Shadows will be affected in a variety of different ways. They could be crueler, more aggressive, more hedonistic, more obsessive, or more paranoid. Every werewolf is affected by The Shadows differently.

They either react to other werewolves with great aggression, great fear, or a desire to corrupt them – as any werewolf or human that gets bit by a Shadow Werewolf will become one. Shadow Werewolves eyes are pure black (sclera included) and have shadows following them – almost as if they’re wearing them.

However, while Shadow Werewolves are typically only thought of as corrupting, but they can be healed through compassion and a good support system.

Some werewolves of different ranks also have their abilities twisted and warped by the shadows. All Shadow Werewolves

A Shadow Luna will have the effects of the moon reversed, finding themselves stronger on a new moon and weaker on a full moon. They will lose their abilities to peer into the future but gain the ability to use the shadows to spy on others. This specific ability will sadly not be recovered if the Luna heals from The Shadows. Their elemental magic is completely replaced by the shadows.

A Shadow Alpha will have lost their abilities to sense and manipulate emotions, but gain the ability to command other werewolves to do what they want. Of course, it’s not entirely easy for them to compel others. It depends on the strength of will between the Shadow Alpha and the other werewolf. Shadow Werewolves have a slightly easier time resisting. This ability will fade, and their original ability will return if the Alpha heals from The Shadows.

A Shadow Gamma will have lost their ability to mimic other werewolf abilities, but instead they gain the ability to temporarily mimic the other elements. This allows Shadow Gammas to temporarily disguise themselves as non-Shadow Werewolves, which can allow them blend in with other werewolves and humans. This ability will fade, and their original ability will return if the Gamma heals from The Shadows.

The rest of the Shadow Werewolves will keep their abilities the same as their non-Shadow Werewolf counterparts.

Shadow Werewolves also have their own courtship customs and their own traditions for the different holidays.
